The low price was why I got a Jitterbug phone. I also liked how it worked and that it has bigger buttons on it. Actually, I want to get a small, hand-held Jitterbug phone for my husband, too. It's been really beautiful with Jitterbug. It was very easy to get processed and done. I had service the same day that I got it. Their customer service was awesome. We were with US Cellular before, but they were charging me way too much. My Jitterbug works just as good as my previous phone did. The only problem that I don't like is that I have to charge it everyday.

I needed a cellular connection that was as inexpensive as I could obtain since I make and receive very few phone calls, and I get my email on my computer and don't use all of a phone's extra features. I like the Jitterbug phone a great deal and I tell everybody about it. I also like the company, they're wonderful people. They have helped me in situations where I got confused in the use and they were gracious. I'm an assistant at a living facility where there are older people and they're a bit afraid of cellphones. They don't have cellphones and I tried to persuade a few of them.

I had a plain little phone and I wanted something more. I got Jitterbug and its medical feature was important. I enjoy the phone and I have learned how to take pictures and see those pictures. Then I learned how to text but lately I hadn't been able to do it so I'll start all over again. My son paid for the thing to wear around my neck. One time, I fell in the yard, but I do feel safer with a cellphone so I can get help. I have it close to me. In addition, the customer service team called and I asked them how to get rid of the texts off the phone and they told me and I did it. They were real nice and they told me exactly how to do it.

However, the phone is complicated to me and I've been trying to get on Google and wifi and I hadn't been able to do it. I also didn't know how to make a video but when a friend was over one day, I made a video and didn't know I was making it. We have laughed and laughed about that. I pressed something and it started videoing and it's really funny.

First I am constantly worried about overage fees, I Apr day have to pay $30.00 more a month than I did with my prepaid phone and that at least had unlimited data. Every time I want to use my phone I have to enter a password, as it won't allow me to use necessary applications without a locked screen activated. In writing this review I have had to back up and force it to accept what I was writing. This isn't spell check, this is word changing. Really the only thing I like about this phone is the screen size.

I bought my Jitterbug in Best Buy and though it has older technology, it was shiny, nice, and new. However, I'm not crazy about my Jitterbug. I've had lots of phones and I usually adapt pretty well to them. But with Jitterbug, I've found greater difficulties than usual. I find that I end the call without me touching anything but then the phone calls them back, which I'm very frustrated with. Also, I have to swipe the green line five or six times to answer a call and lots of times it just cuts off the call. I don't know if it's because I'm a little older so my finger gets smoother or if this phone wants something gravelly to go over it. I just feel like I need to sit down with somebody. Maybe I need to go to Best Buy and have them work with me a bit. I haven't even signed up for the health care stuff.

I like this concept of GreatCall and was impressed with it. Though I don't take pills thus don't need reminders, I live in the city and do a lot of walking since I've gotten rid of my car. If I fall sometime in the middle of winter on ice and there's nobody around, I could hit a button and they can find me. That's why I went with them. Also, I don't know if I would have gone with it had I not thought that John Walsh, who's on the board of GreatCall, was doing good work with the company.

I bought a Jitterbug due to its simplicity. I don't need video, music, movies, and all that games. I just wanted something simple that would do what I wanted. I had a Cat phone before but I really like this Jitterbug phone. The emergency medical feature is a good component of the phone. I've recommended it to other people for that reason, though I don't use that feature. The keyboard is also not that much bigger than other things. Plus, I'm finding the use of the camera a little bit awkward compared to an iPhone due to the controls and buttons. The purpose of so many cellphones is to keep adding more bells and whistles to appeal to more people. For someone like myself, I use my computers for all those things. For my phone, I want it to do the real working things I need it to do, so the Jitterbug is absolutely perfect. It meets all my needs for keeping in touch with people, sharing photographs, and using Facebook. It's really excellent and I've shown it to a lot of people.

I used to have a cellphone I hated because it was too small, had dropped calls, and didn't fit my needs. I got Jitterbug Touch and it was larger, easier to read, and it's also simple. I'm still learning the phone. I have tried to set up a different ringtone for email and text messages, so I know one from the other. And I haven't figured that out yet. It's in the book but I haven't had time to fiddle around with it.

My wife and I are old and I was concerned of her being separated as much as we are. We use our Jitterbug phones primarily for emergency reasons, but I have also used it to talk to my son who's 340 miles away. I've got names of my contacts so I can call them at the push of a button and that's helped me a whole lot. My wife does most of the driving so when she goes away from home and I'm here, she carries the phone with her so we can stay in contact. I'm not using it to the extent that I can but I'm trying to learn how.

I got Jitterbug Touch from AARP magazine and I wanted to get it for the medical alert button on it. I've got a phone for message purpose and it's not something that I use everyday although it helps when I need to send a text message. The Jitterbug customer service team answered my question ok when I first bought the phone but the guy who sold me the phone told me I was authorized a free phone. Then when I went to get my free phone, they said I had to pay $50 for it. So I said, "They're greedy." I might keep it, I might not keep it. Also, I live out in the country and my reception and hearing aren't all that great. Sometimes I can't make calls or send a text message.

I've had my Jitterbug since February and I love everything about it. I had AT&T before and their rates were not as good as the Jitterbug smartphone. Then when we called AT&T, we had to go through so many changes to get someone. The only time that I'd have to call Jitterbug was when I misplaced my book. I've been too busy but I need my book to learn how to retrieve a call when I'm on another call. Those are a few features on there. When I called Jitterbug for help, they were right there for me. The whole service is excellent. I also love the way the bill comes out and it explains everything. There's not a lot of four or five sheets telling me things I don't understand. It's very explanatory. All in all, I'm totally satisfied with Jitterbug.

The Jitterbug's price seemed reasonable and that's important for an elderly. I always have it with me when I leave the house though I don't use it a lot. I'm a little hard of hearing, but I can hear alright on it. I like how a person can take good pictures with it. I haven't been up on the second floor of the house for a couple of years because of my arthritis, but my daughter went up and took pictures up and down, so I could see how it was looking up there, and that was helpful. However, I have to plug the phone in every night or every other night. It's not perfect, but it's better than my previous one. It's a little bigger, so the keys are bigger, and I can see on it better.

I asked for a Jitterbug but it's by Samsung and I'm scared sick with all of what's happening with that company. I'm a little bit worried about the whole Samsung phone exploding. Additionally, the phone itself is very touchy. All one has got to do is breathe on it and it changes something on the phone. I'm also not very adept at all the things it can do. I'm not using the camera and any other thing than just receiving phone calls. The one that I like is the fact that it stayed with my old phone number. I saw Jitterbug in an AARP magazine. A friend of mine also saw it and she bought hers first. I waited until she had it a couple of months and said she really liked it so I said, "Okay, I'll do it too. In that way, we'll both know what we're doing." I like my Jitterbug although I don't use it as much as other people use it because I don't do a lot of texting or I don't go in and use my other apps and things like that. I usually use it for the phone and if I need to, I use the other stuff. There was a tremendous amount of difference between this and my old phone because it was an old flip phone with no data or anything on it. And Jitterbug came with a booklet to tell you exactly what you were to do. I count that to be one of the primary reasons I got it. I like to have written material in front of me instead of having to go the computer to look. I found it to be a most helpful thing.

My son had a TracFone before but the phone broke long ago and we can't reach them online nor by phone. Our son is autistic and it's very important that he has a portable phone so that he can take it with him. He doesn't live in a very nice neighborhood and since Jitterbug Touch is simple, he is making use of it. He has no trouble navigating once he has a written manual and he's very good at that. The phone is easy to operate and it's wonderful. It's been very good so far and we haven't had any problems at all. Our computer will be the contact point so our son's taking over most of that in its last year. And every time I'm with him, I hear an alarm which reminds him to take his medication.

I had a flip phone and it wasn't very easy to text from that and I was getting a lot of texts from people. So I decided to get a smart phone as it seems an easy phone for me to use. The Jitterbug Smart phone I have seems okay and I like it well enough. However, I'm not really happy with the fact that I can be on the phone talking to someone and then the phone shuts off, reboots on its own and then cuts off. That's happened 10 times since I've had the phone.

The other problem that I have is that I try to connect the phone to the internet to upload some pictures into my computer and it could not find the driver on the internet. So I've got these pictures on my cellphone and it just drinks the juice straight out of the phone. It uses up a lot of battery power to keep a hold of these pictures. I don't want to lose the pictures so I end up having to charge my phone two or three times a day depending on how I use it. I don't like that very much.

I've contacted customer service about the phone shutting off and rebooting on its own and they acted clueless (at least the person I spoke to) so I need to call again. But early on, one of them in customer service helped me with something and that was good. So 50 percent of my experience with Jitterbug's customer service has been good and 50 percent has not been good.

I have a landline and I'm thinking of using it mainly because I don't use the PayPal that much as I need to have data.

Maybe I'm a little older and set in my ways, I don't understand everything. It might be one reason why I'm not into Jitterbug. It seems like it's a waste of money that I don't need to waste any. What you pay for a month just goes up and to me, there should be an automatic system for AARP users and they should get a deal on it. I used a prepaid Tracfone before but it didn't have any kind of special features so I like Jitterbug better. With it, I'm able to stay in touch with my grandchildren by texting.

After I got the phone and got it set up, I received a call from somewhere in South America, from the people who try to rip you off. I didn't answer the call whenever it came through but I dialed the number back later on to see what was going on. When I found out that it was a scam I hang up immediately. Within five minutes after my call back to that number I received a call from Jitterbug security department to talk to me about the call and to warn me that that was a scam. I really appreciate the fact that somebody was aware enough of what was going on that they would contact me and say beware. Overall, I had a fantastic experience. I had T-Mobile for a while but I'm not much on cell phones and I didn't want anything that was really hard to use. So I switched to Jitterbug Touch which is simpler. But I don't text, only receive them. My fingers are too big for the little keys and I have a little problem with the phone so I just get my family to text me when they're doing something so I'll know what's going on. It's better for them to keep in touch with me, than for me to keep in touch with them. BUt if I need to get in touch with them, I simply call them. Jitterbug Touch has been very helpful to me and they have great customer service.

When I first got it, I called Jitterbug and a man helped me activate it. Although I had to change my old Jitterbug because it got real hot. And then it finally just quit working altogether and it would not take a charge. I let it lay around on my desk. And then one day, I just walked by and hit the button and everything came up. But overall, it does everything that my American Legion magazine says it would do and more. Easy to operate, everything I like.

The person who sold the unit to me was very friendly but I have some problems with their customer service when I was trying to get my old number. They were rude. I only wanted one so in case I need it, it's there. When I called Jitterbug, they had a good price so I was very happy with it. I'm 75 years old and I like the medical alert feature a lot. The coverage up here is also fantastic. I used to have to go to certain rooms to get coverage but with the Jitterbug, I can get coverage anywhere in the house so I love it. My daughter also feels more confident that I have it.

I have recommended Jitterbug to several of my friends because it's a fantastic phone. It's easy to use and I have the automatic call button if I get hurt. I am really enjoying my Jitterbug Touch experience. The only problem I have is I keep hitting that 5Star button which is right at the bottom of the screen every time I turn the phone on. It’s mostly used to keep in touch with my wife. It provides communication between us because we're always out of the house. She works and subs at school, and sometimes they have to get a hold of her and it works out well for that. Sometimes it’s nice when you’re shopping and you don’t know what the list is. It works good and also takes pictures. So I take them and she develops them. Right now, I’m perfectly satisfied. My wife has a more streamlined phone and I might try to get one that’s a little bit more close to that. I used it for calling and receiving calls. I never cared so much about any filming or pictures. But when I got great grandchildren, I thought about wanting to get some little videos of those little guys. That was what got me to get the Jitterbug Touch. It definitely does a lot more than my old phone. It’s doing what I want it to do and I should get into the book and learn more of it. I have a hard time shutting it off sometimes. I push Call End and it doesn’t go off. I go to the side and I slide my thumb across that. Sometimes I can get it off, sometimes I can’t. If I’m placing a call where it goes to a machine, it won’t go off and the phone keeps talking. But it’s fine. Jitterbug Touch is a good phone and I enjoy the little videos of my great grandchildren.

I had been talking with some other folks in the Chick-fil-A restaurant where I have breakfast every day, and one of them pointed out that she had just gotten a new Jitterbug feature phone. I said that I’ve got a feature phone, and if I would get another one, it would be a smartphone. She told me that Jitterbug is a smartphone and I thought that’s cool, but I don’t want to spend money for it. Then one day I got a notice from Amazon that on my Prime membership, I could get a very deeply discounted current Galaxy phone from Samsung set up as a Jitterbug phone and I said, “That’s for me!” So it was a combination of being open to it and then it being a good deal that I got it.

I wanted to put some apps on the smartphone that don’t work on my feature phone. The feature phone is essentially unlimited calls. I've got a really good deal on the monthly cost of it, so I still do most of my calls on the feature phone. But the smartphone is being used more and more because it’s handy to have it to separate my business number from my other operations.

The first thing I did was turn off the GreatCall services as I don’t need them. The next thing I’m gonna do is go online and up my minutes per month, so expand it slightly on months where I needed to make an additional payment. I'm also trying to figure out how to make the phone buzz for all the various applications that I run on it. It’s a whole other thing and a matter of getting instructions figured out on the system. It’s been wonderful and I really enjoyed it. I recommend it all the time when people ask me about it.

The price is a little high because my son gets his for $40 a month and gets internet on it and unlimited by another company. Mine is $78 dollars a month and it’s a little steep for just unlimited. I only have 1GB and they charge me extra $5 for that. Sometimes the phone makes calls that I don’t make. It can be laying on the table in front me, and then, somebody will call me about 30 minutes and I’m watching TV, and they wanna know that I called them and I don’t even know them.

Also, I can’t hardly hear because the phone is not loud like when they were advertising it. They said, “Louder than most phones,” and it’s not. And sometimes I have to turn the speaker on all the time to hear. I can’t even answer the phone without having the speaker on and I’m not hard to hearing. It can be laying on the couch while I'm taking a nap, and I cannot hear it ring. I’ve missed lots of calls. I checked all the little things in the phone and the sound is turned up. And then, I have trouble with trying to get on Facebook. I paid a little bit extra for a little bit of data because I only get on Facebook to check on my granddaughters. And I got in only one time. Since then, I put my password in there and it keeps telling me it’s wrong. I even had my son check it and he said, “No, mom. Your password’s right.” I just practically gave up but I’m still paying for it.

When I went on unlimited, they told me that since I went on an unlimited plan and kept the red star, I would get an extra 100GB for internet data but I didn’t. I only got the 100, which I was paying for anyway. And I tried to check it to see if I’ve got two and it shows that I got one. I called Jitterbug and told them about my issues but I didn’t get any response. They said they’d help me but they didn’t really do any good. I like the telephone itself and the fact they have big screen. But the phone has acted up to where I couldn’t even go on the page. If I had the number in the phone, I couldn’t stand to get it because it wouldn’t let me do anything. So, I have to take it apart and then, I’ll turn it back on again and it would start to work. The only thing I really like about it is the red star and it’s easy to dial somebody, take a picture or look at a photo album, except for when it’s acting up.

I like the Jitterbug phone. It's handy, works good and does what I need it to do. I would rate it up there pretty good, every bit as good as when I was with Verizon. It works fine for me. The battery lasts usually about four days before I have to charge it. I just mainly use the phone for calling somebody and getting a call, and I haven't had any problem with these. But I have to do some more with my phone, and I haven't got the information in for my 5Star service. But I don't play games on it, or text, or go on the internet, or shop on the Web, or use any other features that I've got in there. I'm 75 and the letters are too small for me to see very good to type.

In fact, when I first got the Jitterbug, I accidentally touched the green app and got it stuck on my phone, and I couldn't get it to go back off, but I don't use it and just left it there. Also, with the open screen phone, when I get done with talking to somebody, I put the phone in my pocket and it goes nuts in there, in touching my chest or something in my pocket.

When I get a call, I pick up the phone, touch the green arrows, and slide across there. But sometimes I can't let go of the green arrows. I have to slide across them several times before the phone accepts the call. But with my other phones, I always had like a RAZR back that I can open up and talk, and I didn't have to touch anything. This is one thing that I wish for with the Jitterbug.

Something about US Cellular wasn’t releasing me even though they said they had released me. I don’t know what took place but it took me a while to finally get it and had surely cost me. I came up with a free use of my Cox telephone so I really haven’t had to use my Jitterbug.4

This phone has an easy setup and it's for older people that don't know anything about computers. I attempted a couple of other phones before but I couldn't use them. They were too complicated for me. Jitterbug is 100% better than them, it's so much easier to use and does no confusion when I go to my apps. I don't use it all that much but it's great. I'm glad I got it and it's nice to have. I tell my friends to get it all the time because they can't use the other ones either. And the good thing is you get an instruction booklet with it that tells you how to do everything.

Since Jitterbug sounded much more friendly to me, I decided to get it. Overall this phone is good and bad. I like everything about it, although the battery runs out awfully fast and it's very sensitive. So I really regret that I didn't go with the very basic Jitterbug. But it's a very good phone for somebody that wants what goes on it. There's quite a few features on the Jitterbug Touch, but I'm just not that computer literate so that's made it more difficult for me. But I'm much more pleased with it than any cell phone that I've had.

Since I've had my Jitterbug phone, I've only used it one time in three to four months to make a call. I get about 200 hours each month. Other than that, there's not much activity. I don't really need this phone because I've got a telephone in my car, and I just push a button to get what I want. But if some other people are going to use this cell phone more than I do, it's a good idea to have it with them. If I wouldn't care about having it, I'd cancel it. But I'm not going to like too much longer paying $25 every month for nothing. The only thing I'd like about it is some better games. I have one game that's kind of Mickey Mouse.

Jitterbug Touch has quite a bit on it that I could do although I still don’t know how to work a lot of it because I’m older and it’s harder for me to comprehend. I don’t have a home phone now and Jitterbug is the only one I have. I’ve got children and grandbabies in Arkansas so I use its unlimited minutes. I had Facebook one time but I took it off because I was having trouble.

My interactions with the customer service team were great and they’ve helped every time. I’ve called the other day because I misplaced my manual and wanted to see if they had one but they didn't. If I’ve got the book, I can follow it. Otherwise, I’m doing trial and error. The rep made me a copy but it hasn't come in yet. She helped really well. Jitterbug is a good phone but if I'd do it over, I'll get the flip top. I know I can always change and get it but then I have to spend more money. My friend had a little red flip top and I really liked it.

Then Jitterbug Touch had a large print and I thought that it's a good deal and so I bought one. It's better, easier, excellent, and I love it. When I first got the phone, I went over my time and I didn't know what to do. I had a long-distance phone call from a friend in trouble. I called to get some technical support help. The man was so kind and I was only a few minutes over, and so he adjusted it for me. At the next month, I really didn't have to pay much extra. It was 35 cents per minute. I really thought it was a kind thing to do. Then when I inadvertently call GreatCall, sometimes I'll hit that button, those people are so darn nice. Every time I've tried to call for any reason, I immediately get a person who speaks English. I'm very happy with it. Their customer service is superb.

I've gotten to the point where the phone's in my pocket or nearby. I'm 70 and I have several phones that have fallen in the shower. I don't ever take a shower when I don't put the phone in a washcloth right where I could reach it. I'm also pretty active and I do a lot of yard work outside. I fell on a hose last year and broke my ankle and so the Jitterbug is a wonderful addition to my life. I feel so secure with that because I'm out and about in the backyard and nobody knows where I am. I tell my friends all the time it's a good plan and phone, especially for somebody like me. I just need basics. I tell people Jitterbug is an excellent program for security and the size of the phone. It's comforting and it suits my lifestyle.

The few times that I use it I always refer to that, and that is extremely helpful. They thought it was pretty cool so they are thinking they might consider it in the future. It's amazing. I wish that my husband had talked me into buying it earlier.

Jitterbug Touch is a good phone for its price which was reasonable. I used a different phone before but Jitterbug's got a few more things than I did on my other one. I had faster internet and I have access even though I don't use it and it's easy to read. Their customer service team were very nice and very knowledgeable. They made suggestions and they let me know how to do certain things. I've been really happy with my phone. Also, the withdrawal taken out of my account every month works well versus single payment. Overall, it was a very good experience.

I had an old fashioned flip phone, and my son bought a Jitterbug for me as a Christmas gift. He wanted to get me more into the 21st century. My Jitterbug phone is much better than my old one. It suits my purposes very well. The screen is bigger and it's much easier to read. It was so easy to learn how to use it. I'm not an expert at it at this point because I'm not a phone person, but I can take pictures now and send emails, which I couldn't do on my other phone. It is easier to operate the different options it has and I enjoy it very much. I called Jitterbug a couple times when I had questions about certain things and the reps were very helpful.

I'm an elderly person and so is my husband. And if we were out or our land phone was out, we have no way of calling anybody. So we needed a low maintenance telephone to use in case of emergency. Jitterbug had low prices and so I bought from them. However I'm not adapting so well on certain things, like operating the camera and other things on the phone better. The customer service team tried to explain to where I can understand it. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I thought that most people have more "smarts" on the use of this telephone system than I do. It would be nice if there was a phone that you just call on it with low payments for a senior citizen on a low income could afford.

Jitterbug Smart is a great phone and I really like it. I'm old so it's easier for me to read the big print on the Jitterbug. I used TracFone Android before but Jitterbug is much better. The TracFone was fine, however we had to refill it in threes for data, minutes and talk and we couldn't roll over anything nor buy separate for each bucket. Jitterbug's plan works much better for me. I do a lot of traveling between two states so if I have a car wreck, Jitterbug's Android could ping off the towers and find me if I'm in a ditch some place. I worked with their customer service once and was very pleased with the outcome of that. It's a great service, the best I've had so far, so I'm very pleased with it.

I had to read the instructions but the print is so small for me and so I have to read it carefully.

What I really like about it is when my husband's caregiver put the times for his medication in it, it sings a little song and alerts him to drink his medication on time. It wakes us up too. So far, I'm still learning how to use it and my grandchildren teach me what to do. I'm doing all right however, I'm having a little bit of trouble pushing that little push button on the right side of the phone because I had a car accident and my hand is not as strong as it used to be.

At one time I had Jitterbug (the iPhone version) and it was very exacting and very light in the touch. I wasn't used to that. I was more into the old-fashioned cellphone, and it doesn't take much finger touch on those devices to change things. That's what I was up against. I can't really use it, so I wrapped it up, sent it back and the company gave me credit for it.

A couple of years later, they kept coming out with advertisements. I received everything through the mail and the magazines, and I've studied them for some time so I thought I'd better go ahead and look into Jitterbug once again. I also thought I'll be left behind if I don't because that's the way the world is going - people either have a Jitterbug or an iPhone. I then just went ahead and purchased it and set up the account on a regular monthly basis through my credit card. They threw in the monthly service charge along with a lot of other things that I paid for it. They scrolled it up on my desktop computer and it's great to go. Their customer service team was very helpful in answering any questions. There's a tab on the Jitterbug phone which a person can press to get information if it ever goes down. I'm sure that would be very helpful and they could tell me exactly where to take it for servicing of any kind.

Jitterbug Touch is a perfect little machine and it's fine for people up to a certain age. I would definitely recommend it. The smartphone does a great deal. It has everything of a cellphone plus that of an iPhone. After unravelling it I charged it and put it in my bureau drawer but I really haven't gotten into it because I've had a complete desktop PC and a laptop. It's also because I have a Verizon cellphone with Google on it, which makes it like a desktop computer. I've also been using that phone because it doesn't take up as much area in my pocket that the Jitterbug phone would. It's also light but it's functionality is lesser than my Jitterbug's. Verizon asked me to try a new commercial one whose battery life is a bit longer, but it's heavier. Everything considered, I really should use the little Jitterbug phone because I can now do everything with it. It has Google so I can use it to get the information off and go back and forth on conversations using it.

And because I take long walks, I bought a Jitterbug Touch since I could call 911 right there on the spot if something happened to me. It was also cheaper for me to order Jitterbug than it would be for the thing that I could have around my neck and push it if something happens to me and where I got to pay them a fee every month. So I thought to have the phone soon in case I needed it. I’m 77 years old and I’m in fantastically good shape but I’ve had major heart surgery a year ago last March and they went ahead and burned all the scar tissue around my heart. And I walk a lot and live in a small town with about 1600 people. Although I seldom ever use it, it’s an excellent phone.

I'm having trouble with my Jitterbug Touch and it's mostly not their problem. When people hooked me up on it, they knew how to use it and it was kind of a beginning step before you got into the heavy stuff but they bypassed that. So I have screen pop up and I can hardly wait until I get that far. Evidently, I'm not hooked up to the internet yet.

The phone my husband uses is nice and basic and I thought maybe this one will be a little easier to figure out. But I can't find the delete button to delete a lot of stuff so on my phone I have every single phone call made and received since I got it. I've had other people look at it and they can't find it either. Most of the people I know go under the Apple thing, not the Android thing, and even with the book, they haven't been able to find one that says delete. But that little thing came up on the screen once, too, and gave me the choice. But I always know if I try to walk some place with my phone it will just disappear before I can get to where maybe it will explain how to use it.

So anyhow, it's a challenge but I can make phone calls. I'm also more or less figuring out how to do the address and the phone numbers into it. Somebody did that for me in a way, too, but it doesn't automatically show up and you have to list it or something. I don't use that one too much either. I have to carry my other phone with me so I can get the phone number out of it and use my new one with it.

When I have a whole lot more time in my life I will be able to figure it out. So every now and then in the evening, I spend an hour playing with it. Only thing is that I'm calling all these people in the middle of the night. No matter where I put my hand sometimes, it phones somebody. Boy I jump on that. So I'm trying hard. I'm getting darn close to 80 and have to start at the very beginning because that's the way to do it. Even when we went to the store to buy it, the reps didn't know a whole lot about the phones. They just sold them. I had a little Razon phone for years and at least I could do that one fairly easily. I also tried a smartphone two years ago and thought I'll be able to use it but when I got home to read the instructions there were none. At least Jitterbug phones come with a book of instructions that sort of helped me.

The phone works all right and I'm enjoying it. I wish it wasn't quite so touchy because it does bounce back and forth with all the different screens with the slightest movement. I don't know why everybody says they're not but that's the way mine is. But with my Jitterbug, I know I can make things bigger and smaller. So I'm as satisfied with it as I'd be with any smart phone because I had tried two others before from the regular stores and I didn't get very far with them either.

Last night, I picked it up and put it on the charger and it says my sister and my son-in-law had called but I don't know how to get them. Right now I'm very dissatisfied with it. I need to sit down with somebody and let them go over it with me on how to use it and how to get a call when they come in. But I haven't had time and my children are so busy. I'm sure it's not the phone's fault. It's me and I just haven't been able to grasp how to use it.

The Jitterbug phone was on display at our pharmacy here in Welcome and I liked the features that it had, and so I bought it. It's much better, has more features and easier to read than my other phone. I use my cellphone when I'm away from the house and when I do long distance calls. The team guided me through everything and I was satisfied.

Jitterbug Touch is easy to use. I needed a cellphone and their price was much more reasonable than any other options I looked at. I don't use a cellphone except for calling and for an emergency. My wife doesn't have one and I rarely use mine, except for the internet now. But I like to have it and it's something very helpful to have and good for emergencies if we travel. But one thing I don't like about it is the menu. When I power it on, they have a menu and I start looking for the app I want. It stops midway and has me start over again and that's an annoyance. Otherwise it's great and I'm still learning it. The phone works very well and has got good reception and quality. I had no idea I could get apps for it and put music, audio books and photos on it so I've had a good time adding a lot of that to it. That's all the plus that I did not expect. I was just buying what I thought was a basic phone at a good price.

I had a flip phone and it was going bad so my son suggested Jitterbug. He ordered it and did everything for me. My flip phone was a lot simpler, while Jitterbug is a newer, hi-tech type of phone and I'm a low-tech guy, but it works fine. It does what my flip phone does plus a lot of other things that I don't even use it for. But it's easy to use to make a call or to receive a call from somebody. I'm retired, I'm 80 years old and I live up in the mountains, so it's just for emergencies. Being in the mountains, we had a little trouble about our coverage so we bought boosters for both my and my son's houses and that helped a lot. Every once in a while we'll have a blank spot where one has to walk outside some time to keep a clear reception. But other than that, I have no complaints with it at all.

I liked the way the Jitterbug Touch looked and how easy it was to be able to get to everything. I don't use cell phones very often. It's for events like an emergency, but I'm enjoying the Jitterbug. I've been texting my friends with it. I'm really glad I found it.

I had a flip-type cell phone before and I hardly ever used it. But I had to keep putting money into it and it was one where I would deposit and nothing got carried over, so I stopped using it. The Jitterbug Touch, on the other hand, is easier to keep powered. I see that my minutes which are not used are carried over. I'm very happy I got it and I highly recommend it.

I sit down and take the time to look at it when I can. But my problem is that the next time I do it, I'd have forgotten what I learned. I have the old Jitterbug phone, the standard cell phone, and the 5 Star Emergency unit. My grandkids want to get in touch with me and they're not great on the old standard telephone and talking for a long time. They like to text back and forth. I try, I do what I can do, but I'm not there yet. I'm sure, though, that it'll be fine once I get comfortable with the Jitterbug Touch and start using it. I hope that by then, I'll get rid of the other Jitterbug phone. But I'd still keep the little 5 Star Emergency unit for cases of accidents. Although the new phone has all the apps for the 5 Star Emergency, I'm not carrying the Jitterbug Touch with me all the time.

So far I'm delighted with my latest phone even though I really don't know that much about it yet. But my daughter is anxious for me to use it 'cause she likes to send me pictures of the grandkids and the great-grandkids. She says I can open them on my phone when she sends them. I primarily use my Jitterbug when I'm running late for something. We don't use it that much but we'll continue to maintain it. It has the capacity to direct somebody in the best way to go to another location. My brother has that and his phone does that. He was going downtown L.A. from where we live and the phone will tell him the best way to get there. It's really quite clever of it at any rate. It's a nice machine and we like it. It's the best phone we've had as far as clarity of the signal goes.

The two times I've called customer service, they're always knowledgeable and accommodating. They always welcome a question and that’s very comforting because they're not quick. They don’t rush me through and say goodbye and click, adios. They're very understanding about somebody who has not used these things and they’ll go for the steps very politely. The response times we have called, which are a few, I've had a very good reaction to the way they handled it. I never felt pressured or hurried, so in that regard they get an A. I've enjoyed the phone and I found it very user-friendly. It's a good value.

I purchased the Jitterbug smartphone because I thought it is for seniors, and that maybe it's simpler and easier for me to navigate on. Also, their customer service team was very nice. Last week, my senior citizen friend came to me and asked me if I would help her get a Jitterbug phone. I told her we can do it online but she said we can go to Best Buy so we did and listened to what the customer service had said. My friend wanted a red phone so it is easier to keep and see in her purse but the store only had the gray phones. We went home to my house and bought the phones up online

I would certainly recommend Jitterbug though I have a few little quirks. When I search for different things on the phone, before I know it, I've dialed already somebody’s number unintentionally. I don't know how to handle that. Sometimes, weird things come up on the phone. I don't know whether it's me and what I'm doing or what the situation is. Despite my age, I also have two laptop computers and two tablets that I use primarily for photography in the internet. I'm also pretty conversant with Facebook.
