How HelpButton works
If you have an emergency, just press the button on your HelpButton device. This sends a signal to a UL-listed monitoring center, where a care specialist responds within seconds using the device’s built-in speaker and microphone.
Once the specialist determines your needs, they can send family, friends, neighbors or emergency medical services to help. The average response time is about 20 seconds.
Depending on the package you choose, your device might also automatically detect falls. If a fall is detected, it sends an alert to the monitoring center. Operators attempt to contact you — if you’re unable to communicate, they automatically dispatch help and alert your contact list.
The battery can last up to five days on a single charge, but it’s still a good idea to charge it every night.
