It's always been a good experience with InventHelp.

I had a pool toy, and it was carried by SwimWays. It did make the sales, the stores, and major chains, but apparently what happened was somebody stole my idea and what they did was they tweaked one little word from the invention and it then went and I ended up getting a part commission. They stopped making it due to the company that stole my idea and me holding the patent. So InventHelp stuck up for me, got what was rightfully mine, got what I deserved. They took that company to court, and I won. InventHelp was wonderful, very helpful and very informative. They got my back, fought for me and went to court for me. They saw everything through and did everything that their advertisement said. They stood behind me, over and above expectations. They do go and look for companies and contact companies and have a lot of contacts within companies to help you.

I have been with InventHelp for 14 years. Their representatives are knowledgeable. We've done the trademark, patent and infomercials. We've done marketing and shows. I enjoy working with them, it's very pleasant.

I had a great brochure with InventHelp. I looked at it and felt proud. It looked pretty good so I continued with it. I never thought I could invent anything for I’m not an engineer. But I looked at that brochure and man! I said, "Wow! We did that? Oh boy!” InventHelp helped me out. They did pretty good. It was just great. They kept me going. The first one, I had to get my feet wet, but I got a knack for it and I've penned more ideas.

InventHelp has told me that they are going to get in touch with the artist, which was what I was having issues with. I believe what they’re saying and I don’t think you could ask much more from a company. They’re going to do the artwork over again, to my satisfaction, because they have a new way of doing the art now. They told me that they are going to reintroduce the artwork to the companies they’ve worked with. I then asked her if I was going to have to be tied into another 7 years and she said no, absolutely not! I think this was a good resolution to be honest.

InventHelp is excellent. They help me in every aspect, every way. They tell me from day one and continued telling me that nothing is guaranteed. They make sure to continue telling me that but at the same time, they inspire me and show me certain things. They had given a lot of information. And if I have anything to do, I'd phone their representative Karen and she always comes down and looks about it and it was good. They send a list of the companies that they file to. So they are just waiting on the companies to reply. I'm very appreciative and I recommend them to anyone. I've got a lot of other projects, too. But I've got to wait until this one starts to bring some money. They're already submitted to companies but we have to wait until a company takes up the challenge and then we hear from them. They're going to the trade shows, explain and show them that. So far, the experience was good and so far, they do their part of the job that they said they're going to do. I'm looking forward to see my invention on the Internet.

The first people I called at InventHelp were extremely helpful in directing me in the right spot. I had an idea, went with it and turned it over to them. They're extremely helpful. Any question I had, no matter how dumb it sounded, they answered every bit of it for me. They put it in my terms so I could understand how everything went or how they were gonna go. They would explain it to me on my terms. That was the biggest help to me because I was totally ignorant of the whole thing and never knew any of that. InventHelp has been an awesome help and kept my invention going.

I've just been overwhelmed with the service that I received from InventHelp. If I needed a question answered, I always had a representative call and help to find out as much as I could. Since this was a new venture for me, I put my trust in the people that I was talking to. They've been a great service for me. InventHelp has been a big help to me, because had it not been for them, I would not have known all the steps and procedure to go through in order to get to where I am today.

My product has been sitting over there since October of 2013 and I thought they should have been promoting it better at the beginning. But it didn't go as I thought it would. And then they shut my product down due to nonpayment. They said that they can't do anything until I make some kind of payment, I need to pay them 1800+ dollars. But what I'm trying to figure out is shouldn't they all be promoting this? They were supposed to have been sending it out to 50 companies. I know the product that I have will make it, but if you sent it out to 50 companies and nobody picked up nothing they say, "well, some products do not make it."

InventHelp is pretty good. They really wanted to help me, and it really seems like they're on your side. They got me a deal, a manufacturer to make my product, but it's still not out there yet. Good things come to those who wait.

The representatives at Inventhelp had all been positive. I got a lot of help from Karen; she's very supportive. They've kept me informed of the different steps that are going on and I don't have to call them about that. They laid it out clearly when things are going to happen and they keep in contact by mail and by phone.

InventHelp has closed the account. I am happy with that.

I called. No name on caller ID. That was a red flag but processed anyway. The lady ask some questions, then gave an appointment time for Oct 1, 2014 at 11:00 am in Roswell, Ga. The day before my appoint my cell rang with no name just a number (hint). The caller never announce his self just said, "I'm calling you have an appointment with InventHelp tomorrow." I said, "Oh I glad you called because I have to cancel." Then the rudeness in voice, he said, "Did they tell you I have 130 people waiting to see me and you cancel?" I politely said to him, "Well now I have freed you up to see all 130 people because I will NOT be rescheduling," and I hung up. This is the call back # **. Now I was suppose to met with someone named Lou I remember receiving email. I so glad I read reviews, why I cancel.

I called, made appointment, took all info with me regarding my idea. $900 to 'see if' idea is patentable (which basically says no one else has ever had this idea, or yes someone else already had this idea). Then the different 'tiers' are pitched. With each tier you get certain things done on your behalf. They entice you with a few posters on the wall showing inventions and entice you with financing available... the $$$ needed is a huge gamble!!!! The rep kept looking at his watch nonstop while I was there and when I started asking too many questions and making statements out loud, he realized I had put 2 and 2 together and was realizing that I would probably be losing @ 10K and have nothing to show for it. When I asked him "what happens if someone did already patent the idea, but I want to still pursue manufacturing and selling it?" He said, "Oh don't worry about that, the chances are slim that anyone would ever find out!"

InventHelp charged me $10,000 to make a crappy pamphlet. At first they put someone else's obvious idea on pamphlet. It took a year to fix then they tell you they send it to companies and put the pamphlet in a computer data bank. What I have learned is people in companies don't search for you. There are thousands of people with ideas everyday bugging them. InventHelp does no cold calling, they want a lot of money to make a pamphlet that you can make yourself. They gave me false hope and made me think they do more for my money so I feel I got ripped off. Now I make my own pamphlet, send it to the Patent office for $60 to get a provisional patent and mail it to companies myself.

I was another victim of a fraud company who promise me by one of their employee that she was going to help me with my invention idea to get a contract and receive royalties. The company name is InventHelp. They charge me $10,000 in 5 years.

Invent help reached out to me and completely resolved my Issue. I am very satisfied with their service. Thank you to Lark and their marketing team.

Hi, here's what happened. I have an electrical degree and a electronics degree. I worked my whole life in the field. In 1999, I worked in this engineering lab helping design centrifuges. I came with idea that a sphere magnet will produce a different field and that field under the right conditions would produce a gravitational field. So I wanted to buy 1 so I could do some experiments. There was only 1 problem. There was no such thing. I contacted 3 magnet manufacturers. They all said the same thing. 1 manufacturer said for 2 thousand dollars, he would try to make me one. I did not have the money so time went on like 2 years. I kept seeing the InventHelp commercial on tv so I decided to go and see them. I told them my idea. They told me that it was not an invention but more like an experiment and they could not do anything so I left.

I decided to do the $1000 patent search. When the research came back and the booklet was completed, the spelling of my invention was misprinted and misspelled so many times it more than bothered me. When the sales rep called me to go over the review of the patent search, I did bring this to his attention that it was misspelled and he reassured me that this would be fixed and done at a later time going forward. I went online to see reviews. In a very short of time I realized bring this to screeching halt although I did not tell the salesman this. After another de pasion, I tell him that I would do one of the packages. The basic. You send me all the information contracts 50 pages thereabout and again total misspelling of the idea.

Invent help is a ripoff. They took me and my client for over ten thousand dollars each. If you have been scammed by this company please call BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU 877-267- 5222 AND FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION 877-382- 4357 and report them. Thank you.

I responded to a tv ad on the unassuming pretense of obtaining free information as stated by invention submission organization called Invent Help. A couple of days later I received a telephone call by a member of the firm which could only be characterized as rude, arrogant and pretentious on his part. I was informed in a belligerent and curt manner that there was no free information and that I had to drive counties and hundreds of miles away from where I live in Stroudsburg to Lancaster, PA to meet with him as he harshly stated that he did not conduct business over the phone and that I had to meet with him in person. Now I've never spoken with this man in my life and he had that attitude, my question was why?

I no longer contact Invention Companies because they are conning scammers who want your ideas and your inventions so that they can make money off of them. If I knew then what I know today I would have avoided the low life's because they ripped me off and they made money off my invention which I have not received a cent for. People can be cold, yet I may see what I can do about this considering I told them invention, yet the blueprint still is with me. What am I gonna do right now since they done me wrong and ripped me off.

I used Invent help and I wish I had done better research. In the end they got me for 14K plus and I literally have nothing to show for it. The first 1k went to do a patent search so I would say that was money well spent but I wish I had stopped. Invent help obtained a lawyer for me that did not have to much knowledge in my opinion with what the US Patent office actually looks for and how to word the material. I didn't think the guy did a good job at all. 13K for the lawyer and filing the paperwork, that is all they do for you. I did not get the patent through this guy. I did obtain a patent but the next time I went to a patent lawyer spent about 4 K and received a lawyer that had 20 years experience and had worked at the patent office. This is what you need to look for. My blueprints were better quality and I received my patent. If I went that route the first time I would have saved about 8 thousand dollars. Besides helping with getting a patent they are useless. Save your money and contact an experienced patent attorney on your own.

I had met with a gentleman at the time so I thought I discussed my invention idea so we did paperwork. 750.00 to get started. I got a disk with my invention. They said they would be putting my invention in their data base and sending my ideas to media and different magazines. Never heard from them after that. That I think was 4 years or so ago.

I have been with Invent Help for awhile, and they have always been upfront with me. I first dealt with another company and found out some real bad dealings that had happened with that company. Thank goodness I never gave them any money. The associate here in SL is very upfront and open with me. I think that any time you take on a venture like this is naturally a risk. Hopefully things will work out, and if not, at least you tried.

I took a great deal of pleasure in reading the reviews on subject organization. I'm not exactly unfamiliar with the patenting process. After reading what others have been exposed to, and considering what I've learned from my personal involvement, my advice to anyone contemplating the use of this company is... RUN!!! InventHelp appears to be more of a scam than a service. On a whim, I tried to contact the local InventHelp office. I spoke with a receptionist who promised me that someone would contact me within a day or two. The call never came and I ended up contacting the toll free phone number. As a result, I did receive a call from some lady who claimed to be in a supervisory position. She explained that the reason I wasn't contacted by anyone in the Oklahoma City office was because that office isn't staffed. The representative they had in that office proved to be "a miserable failure and not a good fit for our company".

Yesterday I had meant with Kevin in King of Prussia pa. He talked good and had so much bad things to say about this other company. I went to first for my invention at Invent company some guy name Peter which was a scam too. But come to find out after Kevin bad reviews on his self, invent help is a scam too!! Please don’t invest in them!! Kevin almost had me. I was about to get 1000 taken from my account this morning. I hurry and cancelled my payments before he scam me out of everything. He cursed me out 10 am this morning and told me I was a waste of his time and hung up on me! He was mad I find out I had 7 days to cancel my payments.

I have went there a few times both different locations in Houston TX. Let me say this. When you go to these companies you have to be very cautious. Don't spill the beans or show all your cards on the table. Tell you find out info from the company. You should ask general questions - how long have they been in business, what is their succession rate, how much is this gonna cost, how many steps do they have, how much is each step, how long before the product will be on the market. I asked all these questions without even revealing my invention and in both situations they chocked. One lady asked me to quit messing with her head. I told, "Look obviously I don't have means to mass produce a product but how I am I even gonna invest if you can't answer simple questions?" Her response, "Mr. **, I am not gonna play games with you all day." I realized in the first ten minutes they were a business, not a place of opportunity so don't be fooled.

In 2002 I paid Invention Submission Corporation Thousands of dollars to help me bring my invention to fruition. This invention is "the perfect Spam slicer." After paying them thousands of dollars they tried to say they could not get a patent for it... But now after eleven years it has come into the retail market scene just recently. This type of tactic of waiting ten years is being played on many individuals whose invention ideas have fallen prey to Invention Submission Corporation. By the way my idea drawings are exactly detailed in the product you can plainly see on youtube entitled "the Best Spam Slicer"...This is a crime and I have the Evidence to prove it. Please bring this this injustice to light. Thank you.

This company is all about the money. The patent search can be done in your own hometown for the same amount. The book they send out is cheesy. I decided after 57 bad reviews that I read to contact my attorney who has my best interest at heart. For 200 he advised me he would not necessarily call them scammers, BUT the contract they supply is not in my best interest in any way and having a patent done for 4000 by some firm in Florida when I can be hands on with one a couple hours away that is on my side and not InventHelp.

I have an excellent idea so I made appointment with this people. After 1 hour talking, I figured out the only thing that they want is 1,000 dollars to start the scam, and later that you sign a contract with them for another 15,000 dollars. Be careful, guys. This company is a millionaire company because the profit of them is not you invent, it's the contract of around 16,000 dollars that you will owe. They need to take your idea if really good and do everything not with your money. If you want to try take a piece of **, go there and tell them you have a big idea to color it. I'm 500% they're going to say, "Good... sign here to make the investigation for the patent AND GIVE me 950 DOLLARS."

After several times of complaining that I never received my patent research that costs 1,000 dollars, I informed Mr. ** that I would stop paying for something that was never received. I was immediately turned over to a collection department who has placed a negative account on my credit report. So BEWARE OF INVENTHELP. Never, ever, ever, ever would I recommend even an enemy to these guys. Terrible experience.

I still cannot understand that I fell for this kind of scam. They were nice at beginning, creating some paperwork and working manual for my submitted invention, but after 2 years, I can clearly see how sophisticated scam this company does!! This lesson cost me nearly $13,000 - and I regret the day I sign up for this idea. They are gonna suck money out of people like me, and nothing can be done!! Beware!!

My case was resolved. I am satisfied with Inventhelp's customer service.

I started my process in 2011. I paid $500 for the start up fee, $1000 for the lawyer search and the blue book, $1200 for a patent search and monthly payments of $200 for over a year. I had many meetings with the office manager. At one point there was a lady wanting her money back before her 30 days was up and Invent Help would not return her money so she had to go to BBB and WSCO-TV to get her money back. I was in the program too deep so I had to move forward, so I signed up for the mail-in program. After paying for about a year they sent me a package of letters and forms. I paid for all stamps and sent off 10 letters every month and at least 4 letters would return back as "Unable to Forward" so Invent Help didn't research the companies.

Called in for my free inventor's kit. I got a call saying I had to come in and get it, so I made an appointment and met with Kevin ** in King of Prussia near Philly. After he talked and talked for over an hour, I ended up paying for the research book to evaluate my idea. When I came back to pick up my research, he started telling me how great things looked and how I would be a fool to walk away from investing in my idea. I asked him how successful InventHelp was with inventions because I had been cautioned by my brother-in-law on these types of companies since paying for the research and he had danced around that question in the first meeting also.

I've worked with a company who dealt with InventHelp. They leased office space with us. They always had a ton of client appointments and typically, they would wait to be seen half an hour or more beyond their scheduled appointment. Time management is not their thing. And trust me, they could care less about your time. I don't think I've ever seen a client who seemed happy with their services. And I've had several of them complain about issues with their accounts. If being a client of InventHelp is anything like InventHelp being one of your clients... I assume it's pretty miserable. I wouldn't recommend using their services EVER.

My name is Neal **... After I paid about half of what this company (InventHelp, NO HELP) required, and a year later, I see no results about my invention whatsoever. I've been many times disappointed in my life, but this time, I'm feeling downhearted and have lost faith even in people who actually deserve it. Their communication skills are worse than mine as a self-instructed person. If I don't call them, they won't call me... and they keep on giving hope that they will call back... GOOD LUCK.....

I made an appointment with InventHelp, then read the online reviews and canceled. T. ** of InventHelp called me and reassured me by rationalizing reasons behind the negative responses. So I met with her and submitted my idea, paying the initial $895 for the Basic Package (a copy I signed said the Basic Package was $780). I could tell her sole objective was to get me to sign up for the second phase ($9,900 to $14,400) even before we finished the first. Long story longer, I received the book and was quite surprised. Yes, the information covered the gamut in sales/marketing/advertising for selling a product, but the book was filled with typos, incorrect grammar, spacing errors and even covered a subject matter which did not concern my product. Most of the information was repetitive and consisted of material I gave them.

I paid $1,500 and received duck ** from anyone as promised. I see that my product is now widely available. My advice is do NOT use these cretins or contemplate the idea!

I contacted InventHelp. They explained how it’s supposed to work. I started with the $1,000 search. They gave me a book with the results about my idea with some advice to be a possible utility patent. I continued with them next after a year and saw I can't pay everything in full, so they gave me a payment plan with a company called Universal Payments. I’m still paying to this day, but I have been suspicious all this time if they really work as they say. I read a lot of complaints about this company and are the same they mentioned to me. I’m worried that I’ll keep paying for something that’s worth nothing as a book and lots of pages with supposed companies that are not even in relation with my idea. I have to recommend the person that contacted me, some companies to see if they are interested for my idea and they just don’t respond to the InventHelp (I know now why). Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

My now deceased fiancee gave me an idea by keeping on putting things like money, etc. in her bra and then later on losing them or they would fall out or end up around her waist! Then I drew up some blueprints and had some prototypes made. Then we saw InventHelp ads on TV. We got my brother interested and he invested around $6,000 on submitting our idea after we met with a salesperson, who gave us all the details on how they do everything. One of the biggest things that stuck in my mind was that they would submit our idea to 50 companies in their databank (companies that have privacy contracts with them) and 150 companies in their database (companies they just know of).

My friend and I came up with a great idea. We decided to go to InventHelp. We paid $1,000 for the Bluebook and got it within 5 weeks. Contact was made for the $12,000 they asked for. We've had satisfactory communication since then. However, they apparently submitted our idea to Washington DC and haven't heard anything yet. InventHelp is apparently not the ones to be contacted again after money is given to them and things are complete. Any queries we have to go and call Washington. We are still waiting to hear back with our contracts and written ideas from the attorneys. From reading some of these reviews, I can't figure out whether we have lost out or are lucky?! It would be interesting to see.

I contacted InventHelp during the summer of 2003 with the idea to make automobile car windows darken and lighting by touch or by sunlight. They told me that this was a viable idea and that it would take 8 months to construct the “blue book”. However, I told them that I would be overseas on a military mission, but I would contact them through a third party. Long story short, I returned home after 8 months to no blue book and only lies about what was taking so long. When I received the book, it stated that the invention was already patented. This immediately saddened me, but something told me to dig deeper. To my chagrin, the patent was approved on the date I told InventHelp that I came up with the idea. What’s more is that the drawings in the US Patent where the exact same drawings that I submitted to InventHelp!

I live in Atlanta, GA. I went to InventHelp with a solar power generator. They said it was too much to deal with but 6 months later, it was out. I’m no mind reader but I know for sure they sold my idea. Don’t give them your dream.

I setup a meeting to meet with Jim ** in Memphis to discuss my invention idea. For starters, I live in Little Rock, Arkansas and I barely had gas money to make the trip. I tried to talk to him over the phone but he said we had to meet in person. When we finally talked about my idea, he told me that my idea of a remote control finder was already invented. I spent $50 in gas to get there that I couldn't really afford. Plus, I drove 4 hours around trip. If we could have talked on the phone, I could have saved the trip and used the money to buy beer or cigarettes. Instead, I had to go 3 days without a cigarette because I was out of cash until my next pay day.

I submitted a complaint about InventHelp some time ago, and then when it came to the attention of the right people, InventHelp has worked with me very hard to resolve any misunderstandings and only wish to have customer satisfaction.

I have paid Inventhelp $13,000.00. I did receive a prototype, but it was not anything like the invention was drawn up. I have copy of what they printed the prototype to be, but it will be hard to sell invention with the prototype that was actually made. They told me that they will be sending copies of invention to plastic companies to design, but I have not heard anything from them since. I tried calling the company, but they put me to an answering machine that says normal business hours are 8AM until 5PM and that there are no representatives in at this time. I am calling at 2PM. At this point, I would be happy to get my money back. They were very interested in taking my money until after they got it.

I submitted my Invisitrack to InventHelp and they told me that I would have to pay $12,000 to at least get my idea out there. After telling them I couldn't pay that much and that I would find another way to get my idea out there, a month or so later, I see my idea being sold as Invisi part tracks. There has to be something we can do to get what is owed to the original inventor.

Invent Help didn't do all that they said they would do, and they sent my invention to be manufactured to companies that had no relation to the item that I had invented. I told them that I was dissatisfied with their services and didn't wish to pay them any more. They want to report me to the credit companies and also they told me that they would publicize my idea and then they told me that it would be up to an editor on whether or not my idea was published. In a sense, I am paying for nothing and possibly my invention will fail. I wish to cut my losses and run, but they refuse to allow me to breach because they are getting paid.

What does Discovery of Fraud cover? I got involved with Invention Marketing/Submission, connections and/or same company under InventHelp a long time ago, and now my idea is being sold everywhere. They said my idea would sell within the year and then after that year, they told me they never promised me anything. Long story short, so I got the FTC, Attorney General Pittsburgh, PA, and Dept. of Justice Wisconsin involved. I am being told statutes of limitation ran out, and nobody told me there was anything for time limitation, even though dates were documented. For me, there are no exceptions, yet these invention companies continue. I feel this should be classified under Discovery of Fraud.

I'm an attorney in Pittsburgh, PA and often represent clients who want to pursue invention ideas. I thought I'd investigate "InventHelp" to determine if they had any services of value to offer. They list a local office here in Pittsburgh as their "corporate headquarters.” I made an appointment with them, and then the night before, one of their reps called me at 8:30 p.m. to confirm that I was coming in the next day. The next day en route to the appointment, I was delayed by road construction delays and tried calling InventHelp to tell them I was running late. I called the number that came up from the rep that had called me at night, and that number came back with some recording about the number being unavailable.

I went to InventHelp to discuss my idea. When I talked to Orion, he said that it would cost me $1,000 to take my idea to market and I asked him specifically how much it would cost. That is not true. When I found out that it would cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $10,000, I was very upset. I was very upset talking to Orion, so he said that they would refund $750. He also said that the company allows him 2 refunds a year and that he had not had to give a refund to anyone this year. When I received my packet, the outline of my idea was completely wrong.

My sister and I contacted InventHelp with a sure hit idea, paid over $13,000 and never heard a word. They keep saying that we had interest, but it was not what they were looking for. They never returned a call. How can we open a class action suit even if they so-called filed bankruptcy but are under a fictitious name? Now I want my money back. I see my idea everywhere online - Facebook ads - and it only makes me angrier.

InventHelp used to be Invention Submission Corporation. They did not do anything they said they would because I contacted the companies that I was told they had sent a press release to and not one of them knew anything about my invention or the company. They even checked their records and found nothing submitted. Now I am out $9,500 and since there is no way to contact the company, except to answer recorded questions to order their packet of lies, then any money you send them will be a huge gamble. I was told their success rate was 20%, but found out after it was too late that it is actually .02%. If you can afford to lose money, then go ahead but be warned. Now we know why they changed their name. Since it is a corporation, they can change their name all they want and not be liable.

I answered a newspaper want ad for an engineer to evaluate new inventions and markets for them. I went into an interview with this "Invention Submission Company" that had a "top executive" who told me what his company did. He showed me his latest "super-duper market-buster" of a plastic practice golf ball that recorded the distance of a drive with a plastic plug (like the pop up thermometer on a roast turkey). Then he hit me with the big pitch: If I joined his company, I would be expected to contribute funds to go toward advertising the company. He wanted me to pay to work there! That is the level these people stoop to. Here is the kicker: This happened in the summer of 1971! So you see, the shafting started long ago and continues today!

I entered a contract with InventHelp in 2007 with the hope of them getting an idea of mine marketed. My idea was a nail care product. At first, I received correspondence from them on a fairly regular basis. After a while, it slowed down substantially until it finally stopped all together. Shortly after my payments (over ten thousand dollars) were finished and my contract expired, I saw an advertisement for a product that was a carbon copy of my idea. Sally Hansen (a large nail care company) was advertising their new product as a new "invention" and it was the exact same as mine.

They lead you to believe that they (2) are the original "inventors" who have made so much money that they want to help others get started, not true. But it takes forever to finally figure out that "they" are simply a scam franchise. Don’t give them any info regarding yourself or marketing idea. If you do, you may as well say goodbye to it. Find your own financial backing, not these guys.

This happened a few years ago. It’s the same company. I sent them over $600.00 before I realized this was a scam. I demanded my money back, but they filed bankruptcy and I received nothing. I see them on TV all the time. I should have sent this warning the first time I saw it. I hope I helped some of you.

It’s very hard to contact them and there’s no follow up after payment. I’m getting worried now that I read more and more of these comments. I would be happy for anyone from InventHelp to proactively contact me!

I was going to use InventHelp for an idea/working model for help with a patent. I was contacted and later requested an unsigned copy of their non-disclosure form that InventHelp and I would sign at their office. I wanted my personal attorney to review it first. I was told they do not do that and I would have to review and sign their document when I made an appointment in their office. I am not an attorney. This threw up a really big red flag for me. The lawyer represents InventHelp and not me. For them not to be willing to just send me the form for review is not understandable.

InventHelp took my money for an initial packet. After months of contacting them, they never sent me a product. Then six months later, the rep Arron called me trying to sell me more junk. I politely informed him that I never received a product and he told me he would call me back. I finally decided to contact the BBB and they produced false documents saying they sent the packet months ago. Please don't do any business with this company.

I had a problem with InventHelp but we worked together to come to a very satisfying conclusion. I am happy we could work this out. Thank you.

I don't know if Invent Help is a scam, or if their rep here in South Florida is an idiot. He doesn't seem to have a grasp on things. Maybe that's part of Invent Help's business plan. I didn't give Invent Help any money, and I asked their rep Arron ** not to contact me.

Orion ** led me to his office. They told me that if my idea was not patentable, I would get a refund. My invention is not patentable. I called to get my money back, and now he lies and said he never told me that. Now, I am out $835.00. There was a lot of talking, but no refund. Invent Help is not helpful. I wonder how many others have this problem.

I met Aaron, too, and he took my money. I’m out almost $800 and have nothing to show for it. After 6 weeks, I got squat. I asked for my money back and got nothing but **. How about a class action against InventHelp and some of these reps that took our money?

Prior to being InventHelp, they were located in San Diego under the company name ISC. My wife and I took our invention to them and paid time payments for the search and booklet to be made for us of our invention. When they were discovered from many unhappy customers, they reimbursed them their money after being found out as a company that scammed people and were being sued. Shortly after, they moved to San Marcos Blvd. under the name InventHelp (100e. San Marcos Blvd., San Marcos, CA 92069; phone, (866)-804-3327).

InventHelp took our money gladly, but didn't do much on our part about it! Every time we called for updates we would receive a letter listing all companies that don't agree with the invention. Never a positive!! If we didn't call they, would never update us!!

In good faith and total professionalism, InventHelp has reached out to me and worked with me to resolve my complaints and I am pleased to say that InventHelp has went above and beyond their professionalism to ensure my satisfaction and I am happy to say that everything has been resolved. Thanks.

This company is fraudulent and does nothing to assist unsuspecting and eager clients. They receive monies under false pretenses. My goal is to obtain a full refund. I have gotten further with my idea in a few weeks on my own than I did with InventHelp for one year.

I would like to give my update on my complaints against InventHelp. InventHelp has reached out to me; they worked with me in good faith and with total professionalism to resolve my complaints. I am pleased to say that InventHelp went above and beyond their professionalism to ensure my satisfaction. I am happy to say that everything has been resolved thank you.

When I got there, he was very nice. We talked for about three hours and he collected 995.00 dollars from me. How they come up with the amount to start with is weird. I have read many complaints and they all pay some thing different to start the process.

I started a program with InventHelp back in October 2010 which is called the Inventors mailing program. But when I finally received my product, it looked like something I could do going to a printing shop or company and for a lot less than what I paid InventHelp. Yes, I signed the contract but I thought I would have gotten more for my money.

I called InventHelp and ended up meeting with a Mr. Paul *** at the Rockville, MD location. I also met with him at a restaurant in Stafford, VA just off 610 to do paperwork for my so-called invention "Bra Pac. " I was lead to believe that this company would help me put this on the market and submit my idea to different companies and this was started in 2005. Mr. *** presented the company well with never, ever making any eye contact with me! I put up a down payment of $1500 and had a balance of about $7000 to pay off.

I went there to get an idea patent on a product called the Rock-A-bye. I didn't have all the money to get it manufactured but I had the concept and everything down to the wire. Now a couple of years later I see the product online ready to hit stores. I know deep down inside my idea was stolen and sold and not kept confidential like I was told it would be. I'm feeling hurt and robbed out of millions. This was an idea for kids. For you to have a meeting with someone and share all ideas about the product—that’s just wrong!

My business partner and I contracted the services of Invent Help to assist us in an effort to patent, and market our product idea. The initial payment of two thousand dollars we gave them, was for a domestic patent search. The results of the search came back with the conclusion that there were no similar patented items found similar to ours.

I presented my idea which I had on my position prototype to a gentleman at the San Marcos Corporate Office. After I called and made an appointment, a man named W as last name talked to me. He went through his company policy and options. I filled out some paper work and I told him that I had a prototype and I showed it to him. His demeanor changed and he said that we can try it and we did. He requested that I allow him to call his partner. His partner came in the office.

I found a local location to invent help in my area and decided to walk in. I met a man by the name of Arron. He was willing to help me after we spoke for a moment, even though I did not have an appointment. So we proceeded to his office to talk. He explained who he was and that he could help me 6 weeks later after giving a downpayment and all the articles he needed such as photos, detailed drawings, and his reassurance.

I don't have a complaint at this time. I need to find out if this company is legit at what they offer. My husband and I went to speak to Ms. ** on 5/14/10 at 3 pm at the location listed above about an invention that he has in mind. It all sounds great and dandy but as I read the statements left on this site, I wonder should we try to deal with them? I told my husband we shouldn't. It is a lot of money that we as unemployed people shouldn't be wasting. But we are desperate. So my question is do you have any company that will help us with the invention and not take us and our money for a ride? Has anything been resolved with these people that have complaints against InventHelp? And I also would like to know about any lawsuits or other complaints about InventHelp so I can finally convince my husband that I will not use my hard earned so it can go to waste. Thank you.

I feel victim to Invent Help's lies.I gave them a large amount of money using my credit card, and I got nothing but a book with what they thought I wanted to hear. They then told me they had given my product to some business. They asked me to wait around while see new products first. I checked with a few of the companies. They had never remembered seeing my product. Others where not reachable at all. Me and my lawyer are looking for others to join in a class action suit against Invent Help. My credit rating was ruined. My credit cards were shut off. I am unable to get a home loan, or a long time career, I have wanted for many years.

Back a number of years ago, I went and discussed my invention with them. I filled out the paperwork, paid them close to $1,400.00 or so (I do not have exact amount in front of me!). However, we drafted up papers for them to do a research on any previous patents, review the product's potential to market (market analysis) and to make recommendations as to whether I should proceed with a patent. Of course, the response was yes. I was then offered three packages of marketing/patenting options, all over $9,000.00. I did not have the money to cover that amount then of course they offered a payment arrangement. Still I was apprehensive.

InventHelp has scammed me out of close to $5,000 in the last 2 years. They do not render the services that you pay for. I told them I wanted my invention materials back and I would finish paying for their services, I was told that I could not get my materials back. Why not? They belong to me. The consequence is $5,000 down the drain. I could be dealing with a company that is honest.

I invented two items that cost me approximately $30,000 that I put out of our family's pocket. It took two years for Invent Help to let me know that my inventions didn't pass because of some safety concerns. The law firm contracted by Invent Help then requested more money to redesign my inventions. The impression I received when I contracted with Invent Help was that they would review my designs and help me with any flaws in them to help market them to potential investors. That is what I was told I being charged for, not review now and charge more later. I am very new to this and I had ideas. I feel that Invent Help took advantage that I was inexperienced in this and now want to charge me more money for my ideas. I don't agree with the new charges for redesign since that is what I paid for to begin with; meaning I paid for them to find the flaws before we submitted them to potential investors. My family has been very supportive, but now we need real answers and all they want is more money.

I signed up with InventHelp and I have been making all these payments and still in contract with them. I have been struggling to make $200 payments every month and they can't seem to tell me what is going on. I feel that I am being scammed. I had to move out of my 2 bedroom apartment to a studio, just to spend less money to keep up with the payments. Things are really difficult for me at the moment.

I submitted an idea for an invention, FireExcell (fingerprint activated firearm), that would use the fingerprint recognition (biometrics) to access and unlock a weapon. I received a book, many bogus letters of submissions to companies and after the last payment was made, it was like I fell off the earth. The only thing InventHelp did was help themselves to my money, dream and humiliation. I have no idea how to handle this matter for a refund as all my money was tied up with the invention. If anyone can offer ideas, information or assistance, it would be greatly appreciated. After serving for 22 years in active duty as a marine and the things I have experienced, this is the worst. I am out of about $10,000.00 of my retirement money.

I can still remember it like if it was yesterday: my mother, father and I were sitting across from Jay **, the Sales Representative at the Long Island InventHelp branch, discussing with us how much our dreams of inventing our own product could become a reality. Fast forward an initial deposit of $945, another $11,490, and three years later, and all I have to show for it is a stupid book and a brochure that a 10 year old could have made.

I believe this company has taken me and my Investor for a ride. Here is my story:
