I love United American. It covers everything. I broke my pelvis in two places so I was in the hospital then in rehab, and between that coverage and Medicare, I haven't received one bill for one cent. It picked up a lot of stuff through that whole ordeal and expense. I've had a hip replacement and also broke my left foot. I've gone through the wringer and used it, and it has come through for me every time.

I've had United American since I turned 65 and they have been very good to me. What I like most is that they keep everything very simple. I had a stroke last year and they covered everything that Medicare has not covered. I really appreciate that. I'm 76 years old, and I didn't use my policy a lot until the stroke. However, they have taken care of a lot of things with my other surgeries that I had. I've recommended United American to other members of my family, and I believe they have gone through and used it as well. When they ask me about what I use, I tell them. I also tell them that they need to contact AARP and follow through with it.

I have United American for my Medicare supplement, and I'm happy with them. I would refer them.

I have Blue Cross Blue Shield and I needed a supplemental. United American was available, and they're taking care of everything with the application process.

When I picked up the Medicare supplement with United American Insurance, the agent advised me that the premium would not increase and I believed it. But the premium has gone up every year. They don't raise it a lot, but every year they raise it. I should have got him to write it down for me. It started out at less than $180 and it's now at 304 a month. I’m not really happy about that. But other than that, they're okay.

We had a rep who helped us because my husband was applying for Medicare and his secondary insurance and his prescription policy. For us, the application process was easy. I've been happy with the coverage and the fact that it's a health savings account. I thought I was gonna get into an argument with my CPA. He didn't believe there was a health savings account portion to it. I would recommend United American. I'm very satisfied. At the end of last year, my husband had a major open heart surgery and several hospitalizations and had a bit of trouble.

I like United American Insurance very much. I've had no problems whatsoever, other than the fact they raised the fees. But everything's been fine.

I've had United American for years and they've always been fantastic. They’ve covered my ridiculous expenses, which I appreciate, and anything I’ve ever dealt with with United American has been first class. If somebody is looking for insurance, I would recommend it.

I was happy with my insurance company, but one of the women that I used to play mahjong with liked her company and she said that for the same money, that I could get a specialist somewhere and they would cover it like extra special. I said, “If I'm paying the same thing, I'll do that.” So far, I've been very happy. The rep I worked with was a very nice man and helpful, too. I utilize their services a lot. I’ve been with United American for many years now. I've been to the hospital and they paid for everything. I've never had to pay anything. They're a very good company to go with and I've never had a problem.

I have a gap insurance through United American. Whatever my Medicare don't cover, they send it over to United American. When I was employed, I had insurance through my employer. When I retired and I became a Medicare aid, I took United American as my secondary insurance. United American's customer service reps have been very good. They pay my bills and I don't have to worry about anything. I'd tell others to get United American and sign up right away.

My wife and I retired and we live on a fixed income. If the rate was a little lower, we would have a little more to work with. But being it so high and it's good, I have to accept it. The cost is high but it's worth it. It's the best I've ever had and they take it everywhere.

United American's application process is very easy. It went right through. I called them when I couldn't find my card. They were very prompt in sending me a new one. I got it within days. They're an A+ company. They're very prompt on paying. They do 20% on our medical bills. So far, they stepped up to the plate. They've paid everything that they're supposed to be responsible for. I'm so satisfied with United American that I'm not going to start looking for something a little cheaper. You get what you pay for.

I live in a mobile home park. The guy that owns Stevens & Associates came up to the clubhouse and he gave such a speech about United American that there were four of us who immediately switched over and never left. When you got the best, you leave it alone. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The coverage gets me by. I don't come out of pocket for anything. We've had very good luck with their workers. I'm happy.

United American Insurance is wonderful. My insurance agent 15 years ago told me to do it and I've been with them ever since. I've always had good insurance service.

I'm happy with United American's Plan F Medicare Supplement. My doctors are, too. It's made health insurance payment a lot easier. I don't have to fool around with getting a bill from a doctor, a bill to an insurance company, and waiting for the insurance company to pay. Plan F is not cheap, but I could foresee at age 65 I was gonna have some health problems because of my back. I'm glad I have Plan F instead of one where I have to pay deductibles and track who is paying what. Plan F is right for the health that I have.

I love United American Insurance. My experience has been great. I check every bill that comes in because I just got one and it has a couple of different things on it. I was looking at when I went to the dermatologist, and the charges are insane. They were charging me for a lab in Saint Pete. They were doing what they described as Mohs, but they just went in and they dug a hole. They sutured it up. It wasn't major. About four days later, I got this squeaky message. It wasn't even a formal one saying, "This is so and so with such and such dermatology." It was, "Hi, this is Frank. Everything looked good. The skin was clear on the edges or whatever it was. Just wanted to let you know, we got everything." I didn't even know if it was real.

I have my supplemental insurance through United American. I would recommend them. It's expensive but I had no problem. That's why I keep renewing them. I have not used it very much over the last 20 years, but I did in the last two years. I've been hospitalized and I fell.

United American always pays the people but they're very expensive. They pay the bills, but really, more comes out of my pocket than they pay out. When I started it many years ago, it was $68 and now, I pay 340 some dollars a month. I hope that they don't get too much more expensive because then I'll have to look into something else.

I had cancer in 2017, and then I have osteoporosis so I've had a number of broken bones since then. United American picked up everything that Medicare did not. Even though they were more expensive than a lot of the other companies, I picked them because of the full coverage if Medicare approved whatever my services needed were. The only thing I would like to see from United American is to have some at-home care covered, like food service while recuperating. Sometimes, the hospital would discharge you and bring you home and lay you on your bed when you can't put weight on your feet.

I've had UAI since around '96. The cost is high but it's good insurance.

When I became of age for Medicare, which is 65, I knew I needed a supplemental insurance policy, and I've been with United American ever since. I love the company, and I've never had any issues with them. I pay my yearly dues and they're a bit on the high side, but that's okay. People get what they pay for, and thank goodness, price is not an issue for me. Even if it was a little higher, I'd still be able to pay it.

I've been with United American for a few years now and they've been fine. I have a good plan and I've had no issues whatsoever.

United American has an annuity part that I can pay ahead for my policy and that should cover any out of pocket, which it does. However, the problem is that there's a misinformation that they give. When providers call the insurance company to find out if I met my minimum, they say no even though I did because of the annuity. I complained about it, but they don't seem to be doing anything about it. Besides that, I have no problem with claims being covered.

My experience with United American has been perfect. They pay the 20% and I pay my 300 and some dollars a month and everything's going good. However, I have a claim issue right now with Quest because they said that the doctor ordered a particular lab test and they did not. It wasn't covered and they're charging me 500 bucks, so I'm fighting it with the doctor's help. I'm at the doctor's office right now waiting for him to come in.

I purchased a Plan F through United American. I've had no difficulty with them. I have told others repeatedly that I'm very pleased and I've suggested that they look into the program. I've given them the name of the person that we deal with in terms of the annual reviews. I'm looking into whether or not there are any ways that they would also do some of the perks in terms of dental coverage. It doesn't seem that they take care of any of that. Other than that, I speak very highly of United American.

United American is the best. I had a stroke last year, so sometimes, I can't talk correctly. Each time I called United American because I needed information or the right answer to something, they were very polite. I will tell people to call the office where I'm taken care of.

I got the Medicare supplement at an insurance agent's office, and signup was very easy. Overall, United American is great, and it's far better than what I had before.

I've been happy with United American Insurance. I found that the co-pays for the Advantage plan became so prohibitive that I decided I wanted to have regular medical insurance. So, with the Medicare, I bought the supplement. I have Plan F. I have a good plan and I have no problem. The premium is high but that's because of my age. My daughter also has a plan with them, but her premium because of her age is considerably lower. Unfortunately, she can't have Plan F because they stopped providing it before she did.

United American Insurance has been adequate for all of my needs. I've had 10 operations, surgeries, and they paid every bit of it. So, as a part B, they're adequate for me. I would suggest United American to all of my people if they don't have it.

United American Insurance appears to pay the doctors on time and I have never had any trouble with them. The only suggestion I would have is they don't seem to care to pay a SilverSneakers-type benefit for older people, which other companies do.

United American Insurance is excellent. I have Medicare and what Medicare doesn't pay, they pay, even when I was in the hospital. I've never had to put a penny out.

Everything's fine in my experience with United American. They take care of everything but my copay. They send me all kinds of updates. I get mail from them four times a year. I had the $2,000 deductible plan. Then they sent me mail saying that I could change it, which I did at that time. Now, I got just the copay. As long as Medicare covers it, they cover the balance. Last year, when my wife passed away, they took care of everything, canceled her policy, and sent me a refund. They're great.

My experience with United American has been nothing but positive. They’ve done an outstanding job. There are some months that without it, I would have been in trouble. Then, there are some months that there's nothing charged on it and I just pay the normal monthly bill. So the month that it has bailed me out is fantastic and the ones where nothing's going on there are still reasonable.

I love United American Insurance. They are so fantastic. They help us as much as they can. I’m just not real well right now and I just came out of the hospital again. And they keep covering it for me. I was late sending in the check but they have been always so nice. When anybody's giving me a hassle, all I do is call them, and they take care of it and tell me not to send them any money. They're very protective. I'm always telling people here that they should have United American Insurance. They have all these other fly-by-night things. Then they have to get for documentation this and that. But with United American Insurance, I never have that problem. They don't bug me.

United American is a very good company. I got a supplement to my Medicare coverage. My wife and I set it up. It was easy. The rep took care of everything. My wife has since passed. We were both sick and we needed to supplement it. We bought the old F plan. It was the right thing to do, and they've stood by us through all of it, and covered what they would cover. The F plan has been a good product and they’ve stood by it. They pay everything that Medicare doesn't pay on that plan. I was really sick at the time I bought it, and my wife had MS, and she needed MRIs. There was no other coverage that would pick up the MRIs. We would have been paying a lot of money out-of-pocket, and they just picked up everything. So if Medicare approved it, they covered the difference.

I'm very satisfied with United American. It had what we wanted. We like the coverage. I'd recommend it.

I like United American Insurance. I've been with them for a long time and plan on staying. I had an issue that upset me. But we got over it. It cost me some money but I’m still sticking with them. They were taking a deposit out of my account for my wife and I, and we were together on one account. And on their own, without notifying me, went ahead and split the accounts and kept taking out the payment out of the same bank account for her only, but not me. I was in arrears, didn't know it, and we tried to negotiate with them with my broker because it wasn't my fault. I ended up having to pay the bill between January 1st and March 1st of that year, and the extra. I was very unhappy about it, but I like the company other than that incident. They are a good outfit.

Thank God, I haven't had problems with United American. I have regular Medicare and the supplement. I have Plan F, and the person who was involved in selling this at that time had Plan F, which they don't have now. I was able to understand, in comparison to the other plans, what would be better for me because I had some chronic illnesses.

United American Insurance has been good. So far, they've been taking care of everything.

The insurance broker that my wife and I went to when we were looking at policies told us that he had his policy with him and he said he's always had good luck. There weren't policy increases in the cost and that's been pretty much true. We've only had one since we've been with United American but it's still affordable. I have supplemental medical insurance with United American and it has been seamless. It's one of your best options if you can afford it. But it would be nice if it had a drug component. I've been very satisfied with United American, thus far. They're very punctual with statements and payments and I have no problem with them at all. The rates are fair and equitable. Their service is good. Their follow-up was decent. And even when I've had problems and had to call customer service, they were able to rectify everything I had a problem with. I feel safe and secure that they're gonna pick up my bills. It's been wonderful. Their service has been great.

I've always recommended United American. I got it originally through a gal that lived where I live and she was in the insurance. She arranged the policy years and years ago because she said it was the best. And she was right. I like United American. It's fine.

When Medicare doesn't pay with the full amount, United American picks up the rest. I'm pleased with them and I am 100% satisfied. They’re excellent.

I have a high deductible policy. The rates have been most reasonable. When I signed up for the policy, it looked like I made a lifetime decision because their pricing and the quality of service far outpaced their competition that I was aware of at that point in time. I've had no dissatisfaction since. They work very well with Medicare. Medicare submits to them electronically and I've never had a problem. It's never been smoother in my entire life that I’ve been with Medicare and United American. They're both highly competent and their pricing is good.

The service has been excellent. They give regular statements every month so I know exactly what's happening and if there is any discrepancy or any comments they wanna make, I can look at the code and figure out what's going on. So far, they have always paid their share of it without any question and I have never had to do any calling. It has always gone smoothly, thank God, because that's not usual nowadays. The only thing is I wish the premium was kept at one level, but I know they can't really do that.

United American is a good company and there are no hassles. I have never had a problem that I've had to confront them with over the phone. They were highly recommended by my agent who uses them and other people who use them as well, and I feel like I made a good decision. It's a secondary medical insurance over and above Medicare, and the claim submission process works good. I've had tremendous medical bills this year with a problem that set in, and I haven't had to do anything to make it work. It’s done well.

United American insurance is a good way to deal with my supplemental insurance program. They manage to pay most everything that I need. There was only one time that I ever had to call them. Recently, I had knee replacement surgery, and I was going to physical therapy. They balked about a physical therapy bill. Apparently, the people at the physical therapy place didn't code it correctly and sent it in. I had to call the physical therapy, and they coded it properly. United American's taking care of it.

When I signed up for Medicare, I went with United American Insurance because at that point, they had the Plan F. I'm happy with them and I'd recommend them.

I've had United American through thick and thin. We didn't change the provider and just kept going year after year. They are a proven part of what we depend on. I don't look to improve something that doesn't need improving. I would recommend them.

Their customer service has been very good. I get an explanation of benefits or the little paper frequently, more often than Medicare. The government sends me stuff so I can keep up with it. Communication has been very good. I've had a very good relationship with them over the years. I've stressed them this year. I've had several medical problems. My claims have all been taken care of through doctor's offices or hospitals or wherever I go.

United American Insurance has done everything it said it was going to do. It would be a wise purchase.

I went to a lady that everybody from work knew who deals with Medicare and I signed up with United American. I had issues with them at one point not wanting to pay for a lab thing, but that was more because the doctor's office didn't get the right requirements. It finally got resolved about a week ago. One of the girls from United American didn't give me the right information. So, maybe they need to make sure all their people are totally knowledgeable. But the last two girls I talked to were good. People should go with United American.

Service has been wonderful. I've had surgeries and what Medicare doesn't pay for, the supplemental insurance kicks in. There are a few times when you may be billed and so far, I've never been billed. I've been happy with the insurance.

I've been satisfied with United American Insurance. They were very good. I've never had to do anything once in a great while. There was a little something, but they have always paid good. I don't have to worry about my co-pay. And they said that I was grandfathered in, so I can keep that. But the prices are going up. Other than that, I love United American.

United American Insurance is a solid company. They have been around a while. There are no-frills to it. I could find something less money, but United American gained my trust.

Signing up was easy and I've been receiving excellent service. When I go to the hospital, I don't have to worry about losing my house. Use United American. I've used it a lot. I'm about to use it again tomorrow for two different doctors, but two different appointments. I'm not scared to go. I can go and not worry about the bill, not worry about losing my house.

Our agent helped us through with any questions we had and the application process was quick and easy. He was great. He made an appointment, and then he came and sat with us. He went through the paperwork. He follows up with us at least two or three times a year to make sure everything's okay. So far, we've been very pleased.

I've been with United American Insurance for lots of years and I just pay my bill every month. Once a year, I get a letter that they're increasing their rates, which I would prefer they didn't, but I can understand that it has to. A lot of my friends have HMOs but I like that with my insurance, I can go to whichever doctor I want. I've not had one doctor say they don't accept this insurance. Whatever Medicare paid, United American Insurance paid the other 20%. I am pleased with the service I'm getting, where everything is covered and the choices are mine. Others have to go for a second opinion but I don't. If I feel I need to see a special doctor, I can make an appointment and go. So, the flexibility is worth the money.

They've served my mom well, thus far. We recently had a couple of little glitches about billing -- between Medicare, them, and my mom's illnesses. But it was nothing over the top and everything was handled.

I use them as my Medigap insurance for Medicare. I have a high deductible and they have an annuity plan, instead of me paying the bill each time a doctor bills me for his offices until I complete my deductible, I give the money to United American. They end up paying all the bills for me. It works absolutely terrific. There was only one time there was a hiccup. In the beginning of the year, the doctor didn't understand how the plan worked. I had to tell them to call a different number until I got it straight, but it worked out.

I'm very happy with United American Insurance. They've been great. Go with them.

United American has been fantastic. We have had not one bit of trouble collecting or paying for anything at all. So, we're extremely happy. I've had a lot of illnesses so many times and when you had as much as I've had, you get canceled pretty quickly by other companies. But United have not questioned and they have been unbelievable. We are very fortunate to have gotten them. We pay quite a bit, but it's worth the cost. When I was very ill on sepsis and pancreatic stones, I was in the hospital for 15 days and they were no questions asked. In the last few years, I've had treatments for my breast cancer and there were no questions about that either.

A lady in Blacksburg helped me with my insurance. She signed me up. She couldn't be better. She even helped me out on some things she wasn't supposed to. Somehow, I got screwed up and had to buy my own prescriptions last year. She helped me figure out if I wasn't getting it back. United American is a supplement insurance. If Social Security pays, then United American pays, and I don't have bills.

Whenever I have a problem, I can call the provider here in California and he's terrific and he answers my questions. I called when there seemed to be a problem that the hospital was not billing them after they got their money from Medicare. They double checked on the billing and told me to call the hospital, which I did, and they took care of it.

I'm satisfied with United American. My payments come out my bank every month just like it always did. But it went up with all this mess with Biden. It's 400 and some dollars now but it doesn't matter to me because the insurance pays everything and I don't have a bill to pay. When I had an accident and was hurt really bad, what Medicare didn't pay for, United took care of it and I owed nothing.

So far, United American has been very good. Everything gets taken care of, and I never get a bill. It’s been doing its job for me, and I'm very pleased.

The agent was very good. I've used the policy three times 'cause I had a stroke. United American is a good insurance but it's expensive.

I like that United American offers Plan F, which covers everything and that it's one of the ones that doesn't jump as much as other ones every year in cost. If I recommended it to friends on disability, it's the easiest I've dealt with. As far as customer service, it is not great at any of these companies. UAI need to beef up their customer service and when there's a problem in escalating issues that have to be handled.

I have United American Insurance as supplement to Medicare. It's all been transparent. I get accounting.

We intentionally selected the plan we have because we didn't want to have any surprise bills or a whole bunch of copay, and it's worked out very well for us. We have them now for four years, and we've had no bills kickback. My wife's been through cancer surgery and a whole bunch of different things, and everything has been taken care of. We haven't had to worry about anything. We wanted things to be easy and it is.

The application process was very easy. It was done by the broker. I've had several calls with United American on questions I've had and they've been handled very positively. They've paid every bill that's come up. They've been prompt and very professional. They've been complete. It's been flawless.

I like my United American insurance a lot. This year, I had an open heart surgery. I met my deductible but I don't feel I'm paying out extra. My payment when I first started was $78 against the payment of $300. I would have been paying $3,600 for the standard policy. 78 times 12 is $936. I am saving a lot of money. I get my statements and know exactly what I have to pay. I haven't changed the policy because I'm happy with it.

I have recommended United American to several friends. I must have had $300,000 worth of medical bills that all got paid by Medicare and supplemental insurance, except for my deductibles. I also don't think I came out of pocket more than about $2,500, with the exception of a way too expensive pharmacy order that was $2,500.

United American Insurance has been great. My insurance agent and I handled application in a few minutes. I have Plan F, which covers me 100% after what Medicare doesn't pay. It's excellent.

We've had very good luck with United American. We got it in 2001 and we have used it. My husband had open heart surgery quite a few years ago. Now, there was a discrepancy. When we called United American, they said no, they had mailed a check. Somewhere, the check must have gotten lost, so they were going to rebill them again. But that was the only time that I had a problem. We're very satisfied with what we've got and our experience with it has been very good.

I like United American Insurance. It's a good deal. Everybody's always been nice. However, the way mail goes, I'm always afraid of my payments trying to get there in time. So, I always call the second week of every month to make sure it's there on time because it's taken a long time to get there.

We've had a United American Insurance policy for a long time, and the coverage has been excellent. It's like someone sweeping then someone picking up the filings with a magnet. It's very complete. We also get the mailings showing what has been paid. At one time, we had a rep, but I have never had to call customer service, because everything seemed to be always completed. Ever since we went on Medicare, we've enjoyed the service, and we've never had any reason to even contact anyone. UAI is fabulous, and I'd recommend it to anyone. It's not inexpensive, but when it comes right down to it, it's worth every penny. I just had some major surgery and I haven't seen a bill from it.

I've been with United American for 12 years, and I've had a good experience with them. I haven't been that sick, except I had open heart surgery in May. I haven't seen any of the bills, but I've seen the statement that said, "This is not a bill" and saw what the bill could be. Everything looks like it's something I can afford. I wish they had drug coverage though. I called to find out about it, and they told me they dropped all drug coverage since 2014. So, now, I'm gonna get it at Medicare. Other than that, everything has been fine.

They've got a fabulous reputation with the hospitals. We're here in Dallas for four years and I've been in the blasted hospital for different operations. Their insurance supplement is golden. UT Southwestern just loves it. When I go into emergency and show them the insurance, there are no questions. It's exactly what I wanted. I just changed my direct billing with them and that was straightforward, wasn't quite as easy as I hoped it would be, but I got through it last night. Apart from that, they're doing a very good job.

United American Insurance is more specific and complete. Also, payment is faster.
