Recently she was in an auto accident. The claims person named in this complaint along with a Maria *****, I feel took advantage of my aging parents and didn't fullfill their duties as her insurance representatives. No one came to the house to see the vehicle and speak to her only Maria ***** by phone, nor did they asked her where she wanted the repairs done.
Ed ***** sent a tow truck to pick her vehicle up and took it to a repair shop where he has his office. My parents were made to understand that was where it had to go. When my parents were called to pick up the car across town they only repaired damages they assumed were done while leaving others they claimed had nothing to do with the accident.
My mothers car was like new with no dings, scratches, or other damages prior to the accident, and when I explained that to them both Ed ***** and Maria ***** told me that the repair shop would asess the situation and determine if those repairs would be done.
I asked Ed since when does the repair shop make those calls? Ed was rude and a smart a**. I said my parents wanted to take the vehicle to Bill Currie Ford to complete the repairs, where they would have gone had they been asked.
He said he would call back when arrangements were made and never did. I called several times and left messages and none were returned.
So here I am trying to help my parents out...they live on a retirement income and paid a $500 deductible only to have their car returned half repaired that was like new prior to the accident and Traverlers ignoring to help them, instead siding with their chosen repair shop.

I was in a hit-and-run accident a few months ago that left my car and me in the middle of the street with damages. The person was never found and my insurance company has refused to help me from the beginning. They claimed my car as a total lost, even though it is in driving condition (only with damage to the back right side of the car). They refused to pay for any damages and they also refused to pay my medical expenses (chiropractor).
The company is also trying to possess my car and force a cash buyout. The car works fine and I have someone who can fix the damaged area. They still insist on taking my car and trashing it. I want my car. Is it against the law that I keep the car I paid for and paid insurance for? Does the law support insurance companies taking people's cars and not paying for damages like this? Can I get help solving this situation?

I would like to report the "criminal act" committed by 3 attorneys of Travelers Insurance Co. To be brief, I was involved in an accident where a person ran a red light and struck me on the passenger side of my vehicle. I was wrongfully ticketed at the accident scene. I was struck with such force that it fractured my nose and required facial stitching. I also had a severe multicolored bruise on my hip from the seat belt. I was taken by ambulance to the hospital because I had severe abdominal and back pains. I did not even know I was bleeding or injured on my face. We went to court and the man who ran the red light admitted to the judge that he ran the red light. The judge asked him, "Sir, did you run the red light?" The man replied, "Yes, I did."
Travelers tried suing me and I believe my attorney countersued. The case was referred to mediation where the crimes were committed. The mediation process started with a white female attorney (Travelers), my attorney, the mediator and my father. The white female attorney was having trouble and called in 2 other attorneys - a black male and a white male attorney (I do not know their names). Both the white female and black male attorneys of Travelers were adamant that the case was not over who was at fault, but my ability to prove my injuries came from the accident. The white female attorney said, "We are not contesting this over who is at fault; we already know our client was at fault. We are contesting this over your ability to prove your injuries came from this accident." The black male attorney became upset about something and interjected, "Look. We know our client was at fault, your injuries came from another accident." The white female attorney also said, "If this goes to trial, we are not going to pay you one penny."
I was coerced into signing a release and settling for $11,500. After the attorney (mine) was paid and after paying pennies on the dollar to my medical practitioners, there was $2,800. left. My personal injury had a deductible of $2,000 which left $800. That did not even cover the expenses of going to and from the medical practitioners. I am charging that the 3 attorneys of Travelers Insurance used fraudulent deception in obtaining my release. They led me to believe if it went to court, that they did not have to pay! I was in fact coerced through fraudulent deception into signing this release. I was objecting the whole time but was led to believe I would receive nothing. I believe there is a law that says if 3 people of a company conspire an illegal fraudulent act, this is referred to as racketeering.
The insurance company (Travelers) was required by law to pay my full immediate losses - my medical bills, lost wages, support (my parents supported me while I could not work), my automobile (was 10 days old). Because Travelers was required by law to pay these losses, yet racketeered the act, they in turn profiteered from the act of racketeering. Travelers is also responsible for theft of my vehicle. They assumed liability for their client and were liable for the replacement cost. So the criminal acts I am charging that Travelers Insurance Co. committed: Fraudulent deception (fraud), that they conspired and racketeered the act, that they profiteered from the act and that they are responsible for the theft of my vehicle.
Just so you know, I was able to prove through forensic evidence that was in Travelers' hands at that time that my injuries were from this accident. I contacted Travelers and they said, "You should not have signed the release," that they won't pay because statutes of limitations. But these crimes were committed by Travelers. I have all the forensic evidence as well as document, medical, etc., and government data that supports the forensic evidence. These support all the forensic evidence and show the injuries that one may expect to have. I was driving my vehicle and was struck at approximately 35mph directly where the seat belt was. That is why I had such a severe bruise from the seat belt. My car was struck with such force that it bent the roof above my head on the driver's side of the vehicle.
Travelers Insurance know they are guilty of these crimes, yet they have no remorse, they feel no guilt, they are dishonest, unethical, immoral and down right criminals. I would like to give you the evidences and proof that Travelers are criminals and that they are protected by a blanket of law. Travelers Insurance Co are criminals who commit fraud, racketeer, profiteer, steal and destroy the lives of innocent accident victims. I also believe there is a possibility that they might also commit the act of witness tampering and possible deny innocent victim's workman's compensation insurance, causing further loss and injury by preventing these victims from obtaining meaningful employment. I believe that if they commit the crimes that they did, then there is a possibility that they might commit the tampering and workman's comp denials.
Travelers have been criminals - I can prove this! I believe that they probably still are criminals. And this is the most sophisticated form of racketeering, profiteering, fraud and conspiracy by abusing the process of mediation. This process must be fair. In order for the process to have been a fair process, the immediate losses had to be on the table from the beginning. They are allowed to negotiate future loss, pain and suffering, etc. But they, by law, have to pay the immediate losses as described earlier in this letter. So they may not compensate for the loss to myself and my family, but I will let people know the truth - that Travelers are criminals.
My car cost $3,400. I had to get a replacement car (approximately the same). My parents supported me and paid for expenses as well for travel to and from the medical professionals, my rent, my food, my fuel and a reasonable amount for entertainment to keep me from becoming inactive. The amount is approximately $50,000 at the least. I have other details about the domino effect it had on me and my family's finances, as well as the loss of a dream business where the person who purchased it became a billionaire, as well as the resentment from my siblings for the loss to my parents and the financial strain and loss of opportunity for a business that would have provided employment, income and a great future put that extra strain on my father's heart. He died of a heart attack!
Travelers, in turn, are partially responsible for the strain on my father's heart and are in part responsible for his death! These are the crimes that Travelers Insurance's attorneys are guilty of. Thank you very much, sincerely, for exposing the true crimes committed by Travelers Insurance. Have a great day!
** The statutes of limitations do not apply. Travelers used this contract that was obtained under fraud that makes the crime an active and ongoing crime. Once they used the fraudulently obtained contract to stop an internal investigation into the crime, the use of the contract activated the crime to present day.

Eric Flemming is the agent from Travelers that I've been dealing with. He's trying to make me take less than my car is worth. The Kelly Blue Book value was $2,985 and the NADA value was $3,150. Travelers Insurance is offering me $2,300.

I would like to file a formal complaint against Travelers Insurance and its claim representative, Mr. **. Mr. ** and I spoke on Thursday, November 15, 2007, regarding an auto accident that his client, Ms. Semone **, and I were involved in on Monday, November 5, 2007. The accident resulted in his client colliding with my vehicle, causing extensive damage. When discussing the offer of the claim, he proceeded to blame me for the accident and said that he was only going to offer 0% - 10% to cover the damages to my vehicle. Upon disputing the offer, he then said, "Now, were not going to give you anything.” I expressed to Mr. ** that I felt threatened because I did not agree with the offer. Mr. ** then said he did not care. He further stated that everyone will blame me for the accident because I was making a left turn and everybody knows that the person turning left is always at fault.
As a result of the accident and not having an offer presented to me that will result in repairing my vehicle, it has left me and my family without transportation to and from school, my spouse is arriving at work late because now he has to take our two children to school, as well as leaving me physically limited. The accident re-injured a preexisting spinal condition, which took three spinal surgeries to repair in 2006. I filed an amended accident report on Monday, November 12, with the Albany Records Bureau, and I'm awaiting a response. In the interim, Mr. ** has not responded to any of our phone calls. Mr. **’s unprofessional behavior and egregious means of handling the dispute is reprehensible. I hope that Consumer Affairs will help me with the issue, and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you.

I lived in NY up until July 2001. I have a 2000 Honda Civic that was insured by Travelers. The car was in NY until July 13, 2001. It was shipped to Florida. I continued to pay insurance on this car until Sept. 2001. I had gotten insurance with GEICO, so I was paying two insurance companies at the same time. I sent Travelers copies of the Florida certificate of title and registration, which was issued to me on 9/18/01. I also sent them an original insurance card from GEICO. They said that I still had to pay them even though I had everything here in Florida. I was told that they wanted the FS-6T from NYS Motor Vehicles. I asked if they could give the address, they said to call the broker.
I wrote the broker, and they said they didn't have an address for Motor Vehicles and if I had a friend or family that I could give the plates to. They said I had to pay. I don't understand how I have to pay insurance to a state where the car is not in. And in between all that we also had the horrible day of Sept. 11th. They are now telling me that if I don't pay Oct. and Nov. that they are sending me to collection. I await your reply. I have suffered very severe migraines. I have a constant pain in the base of my neck. The doctor says that this is caused by nervous tension. I am a school teacher and this is making me very tense and not a nice person to be with. It is affecting my personality and even my memory. I do not want to lose my job.
