    1/30/2020 I hit a deer with my new truck. Travelers adjuster listed damages at $6200. He listed all of the labor under paint work. Body shop listed damages at $7200 as ASE mechanics labor is much higher. The total hours match, and they go by the same book, but Travelers says they will not pay the higher mechanics rate for the mechanics work and that I'll have to. They (Travelers) know there is a difference between painting and mechanics but they want to stick by their adjuster who either intentionally or unintentionally slipped in the wrong labor rate. Travelers knows it's wrong, but refuses to do anything about it. STAY AWAY from Travelers.

    I was rear ended in November. My car, which is 14 months old, has been in the shop for almost 3 months now. The initial estimate from the body shop went to their insured’s vehicle because both cars were the same make and model, which slowed the initial process down by three weeks! They insist on using aftermarket parts rather than original manufacture parts even though it will not be covered by my vehicle’s warranty. They are refusing to pay for undamaged parts that needed to be removed and reinstalled in order to complete the repair.

    The body shop has complained about the adjuster and his abusive nature on their property, so we have had to deal with his supervisor and the supervisor of the supervisor. They had no problems paying for me to have a rental car for 2 1/2 months which I’m sure would have covered the cost discrepancy they are arguing with the body shop about. I am so glad this is not my insurance company, and would definitely tell people to steer clear of them! All I want is to have my car back in the same condition it was in before their insured rear ended me and have them pay for the repairs needed for this to happen.

    My son was in a wreck in my car on 12/17/19. We found out the person that hit him did not have insurance. My car was towed over an hour away to a salvage yard. Nobody knows why. First, we did not know our policy didn't cover a rental. We had always had Alfa and Allstate Insurance that included rentals. On Jan. 3rd, we got a call saying an adjuster looked at it, and said it wasn't totalled but needs 14K in repairs. They were going to tow it back to where I live and let the dealership look at to see if it had frame damage.

    Today, 1/10/2020, (3 1/2 weeks later) we get a call saying it is going to take 3 weeks to fix. This is totally unacceptable! 6 1/2 weeks without a car!!! I have always paid my insurance on time, I should have my car fixed in a timely manner. This is absolutely ridiculous! Side note - a friend of mine with different insurance had a wreck the day before mine and she has had her car back for a week now. So, they can say the delay was because of the holidays all they want, but other insurance companies still took care of their clients. Travelers does not care! They did say sorry and we can express our concerns in a survey that will be sent out after our claim is closed. WOW! That helps!!!

    We traded in our leased vehicles for 2 new leases. The new leases have more safety features, so our auto premiums were lower for the 2 new vehicles. But our overall policy did not decrease as much as anticipated. Upon closer examination, the other vehicles on our policy were illegally increased mid-policy. There were no changes in how those vehicles are used or housed, so there’s no legal basis to increase the premiums on the other vehicles mid-policy. When I called to complain, Travelers told me to file a formal complaint against them.

    Audits after audits in same year looking to find crumbs. I decided to upgrade my policy to cover myself on worker's compensation and they told me it would be 800.00 dollars for rest of year so I have already been audited twice in 2018. I get another letter in mail to say, "We need your info again." This time they tell me it's a voluntary audit. ya right. I volunteer all the time. Right after that they try to charge me for the full year and I was already covered. After this policy ends I will never use them again.

    I have been with Travelers Insurance for over five years. My first claim in years was in November, 2019. The adjuster's name was FALLON **. Mrs. ** did not represent Travelers Insurance, with the exceptional service I am use to when I call. She was rude and very unprofessional, I am a senior and I expect to be treated in a manner that most people would want to be treated, with respect. I filed a auto claim, and the lies and unprofessional experienced I had with this adjuster was unacceptable. I have filed a complaint with the California Dept of Insurance. I hope this will help ** treat others fairly and with respect.

    I will be telling everyone I can reach both in social media and beyond that Travelers is a company no one should deal with. We never ever make claims and we had travelers as our carrier. We had our camper break while on vacation out of state. It took almost 4 months and a few agents to get the thing repaired so we could bring it home. Then yesterday we get a letter saying they are raising our insurance to a $1,000 dollars and we are no longer covered! WOW. Awesome company (NOT).

    Cancelled Homeowners policy for better rates and flat deductible with another carrier. Agent sent them Accord forms twice. They send me form to sign. After 2 weeks called to inquire about refund check the customer service representative started mumbling about moneys being applied to "another policy" while finally admitted that they are sitting on the moneys and the "check went out the day I was calling." Check is in the mail!

    I was involved in an accident. The other driver was at fault and has Travelers Insurance. The damage to my car affected the headlights, taillights, and blinkers. It took almost 2 weeks for an adjuster to come out and look at my car. In the meantime I had to drive my car without half of the lights and blinkers working. They would not give me a rental until I put my car in the shop. I was finally able to take the car to the shop to get the repairs done. I took it in on a Tuesday and the rep from Travelers made a reservation for me at the rental place. Turns out the rental company had no cars on the lot.

    I called and left messages for the Travelers' rep for TWO DAYS! I finally got a call back that Friday and told her that I had been without a car all week and couldn't get a ride to work one of those days. I am pretty upset with this company. I ended up getting a rental at 5:00 pm that Friday. My car won't be ready for several more days. Travelers doesn't want to let me have a rental car for more than 5 days. This has been the most stressful situation and the accident wasn't even my fault.

    Several months ago my son was hit by a driver with Travelers insurance. This entire process has been a nightmare! Other driver was found at fault and issued a citation for running his red light, multiple witness statements, and they still are trying to deny liability. I don’t believe Narvie, their claims rep, even attempted to research the accident other than asking their driver “did you do it?”. Our own insurance claims rep finally contacted her after multiple attempts by both he and I, Farmers provided Travelers the accident report, and still they refused to acknowledge liability.

    To date, Farmers has provided the accident report, sworn witness and police statements, and proof of the paid citation which any reasonable person would agree is an acceptance of guilt. We finally had to settle with our insurance for the totaled vehicle so it could be replaced, but are still out our deductible, while the claim goes through arbitration. And the worst is that no one from Travelers ever reached out to my son to ask how he has been doing through all this. Honestly, this is a valuable life lesson in how your insurer may not have your back, leaving you vulnerable to the lawyers who are always more than happy to speak to anyone about a potential case. Too bad no stars wasn’t an option.

    I would strongly discourage anyone from using Traveler's Insurance. We went with them and didn't have any issues until recently. We received a letter from our mortgage company stating we were under insured and it needed to be fixed immediately. I pulled our policy out and they had us insured for $70,000 less than we even owe on the house. When my husband called them they told him we have an extended policy and that we are covered, but yet they refuse to send this "extended policy" to our mortgage company.

    Now on to our camper...brand new camper that has only been used once. We have had it for less than a year and it got hit with hail. They send a gal named Kelly out to do the estimate of damage and she tells us straight up, "I don't know what I am doing. I have never done a camper before." She then sends us an estimate of $5600. My husband takes it to a dealer and turns out we have $39,000 in damages and it is totaled. When Traveler's sends us what payout is, it has $21,000. They are trying to pay us out for a base model in which we don't have. We have an upgraded model. The dealership said our camper is worth $32,000.

    When my husband sends them this estimate Camera (who is very rude to everyone she deals with, including the dealership in which the guy even hung up on her) states our policy only has the camper listed at $21k for coverage so that is all we are getting. Make sure you read everything they send you or you're taking the chance of losing everything if you ever expect them to pay out. It is our fault for not reading the policy they sent us on the camper, but at the same time...they are SHYSTERS!!!

    We were struck from the rear by a vehicle insured by Travelers. They did not argue or low ball the claim in any way. Our repairs were totally taken care of by Travelers no questions asked. A rental was even offered. A great experience with a great company.

    This 18 wheeler hit me as there is two lanes, one to make a left turn legally and the other to go straight. The street divider white paint is visible as day (street warning signs everywhere) as the light turned green I was heading straight in the right lane, 18 wheeler sees me because first green light means go and left means left. So why does the 18 wheeler need to come into the right lane to make a left turn. As he did go right into my lane before turning he swiped my truck from the cab to the end of the bed. All his fault. Now I bumped my temple really hard against the window causing a headache that lasted a whole day.

    Now the Travelers insurance had one lady to be my claim adjuster but two and a half weeks later it has been reassigned to another adjuster. Now that adjuster well both are unable to reach, not even responding via email nor my voice mails. Do not trust Travelers Auto Insurance, they will abandon you. I would not be here if I did not I not work hard for my vehicle.

We purchased our policy through an independent agent and are very satisfied with her attention to our needs.     I switched to Travelers from a well known auto insurance company after they kept raising my rates even though I had never had an accident. Shortly after the switch I was hit by an uninsured motorist and he did over $10,000 worth of damage to my 2013 Buick. It was about one and a half years old at the time. I called the number on my insurance card and they asked if my car was drivable. I said I thought so and they told me to take it home and they would pick it up there and provide me with a rental car at their expense. They had a flat bed truck pick my Buick up the next day and took it to the Buick dealer that I bought it from for repair. They paid for the complete repair and kept me informed of everything that was going on. I paid the deductible.

    Awhile later they sent me a check and said that they had collected enough from the driver that was at fault to return my deductible. They were very helpful, courteous and professional at all times. Even called me after I got my car back to make sure I was satisfied with the repair. This is the only insurance company I will use and recommend them to everyone.

    I was involved in an accident with Lyft in which Travelers insurance was handling the claim. They convinced me to not attain an attorney due to the driver being completely at fault then after months of contacting me regarding investigation of the accident, having me obtain documents for them which cause me to take days off from work and sending me through a lot of stress. They refuse to pay my hospital and doctor's bill or pay for any time I was off work. I ended up with a concussion from the accident. But the claims representative said there's no way I could have had an accident and that it was my fault. Always retain an attorney. And never listen to their representatives.

    They changed my due date without notice. They were rude many times on the phone. They kept going up on my payments. They lied and changed things many times. When I cancelled they kept sending me bills. Then they sent a 2,697.00 bill to collections. I had another insurance agency all that time. They are a nightmare. I would not ever do business with those cons ever again. I would recommend no one doing business with them.

    I highly discourage anyone from using Travelers Insurance. I am going through a very unique situation and the only reassurance I’ve received from the company is what they cannot do. On June 9, 2019 a building crane fell on my apartment complex displacing over 500 residents in Dallas, Texas. Today is July 29, 2019 and I’m still living out of a suitcase and do not have access to everything I own because they have condemned the building. The building also refuses to provide us any legitimate documentation to provide our insurance companies for further clarification.

    With all that being said I continue to receive pressure from my insurance agent that I need to figure something out because they are not going to be able to assist me much longer. My insurance covers up to $9,000 in loss of use/displacement coverage to which I have only used a little over $2,000 of that therefore I am nowhere near exceeding my limit and I should not be being pressured when I’ve been a paying customer for years and I have nothing but the bag on my shoulder. I expected more from the company and am disappointed to know that when you really need them they fail and only cause more stress to an already messy and stressful situation. Please avoid Travelers Insurance to save yourself added stress and anxiety in time of need.

    My daughter's car was broadsided by a driver insured with the Travelers. He was 100% at fault. Her car was heavily damaged on one side and was "totaled" by Travelers. It was a 1999 BMW convertible with every imaginable option, and their offer was $2,000. I found at least 5 cars, same year and model, for sale for between $4,000 and $6,000. After 50 e-mails and phone conversations, they upped the offer by $200. They then stated that is the final offer, and refused to budge or consider anything else. What a horrible experience; this company is a cheap, cheating, miserly, penny-pinching piece of crap.

    In process with my first auto claim in well over 25 years. Telephone queries are not returned in a timely fashion in an understandable manner. Supervisors are not available to share or correct sub-optimal customer service experiences. I assisted my 90 year old mother with a damaged windshield claim a few years prior. Rafting on that claim 10. Rating on my current experience 0. No one, organizationally, is available for clarity, understanding, or follow through.

    I have had billing problems every month. Nothing gets fixed or straightened out no matter how many times I call and try. Had I known they were overcharging me and putting things in a bundle, I would have gotten rid of them long before now. I canceled my policy and now they are trying to bill me $40 on a canceled policy. It’s unbelievable, I should have done this sooner. Giving this company a 1 is a gift. They are shameful!

    We have insurance with the Travelers two years. We had an accident on months ago. We still run around deal with that this claim department. She had a bad attitude..she does not help much and you can't hardly get hold of these people and you can ask a question because she talking with loud tone. I can get nothing out of her. What’s going on with our vehicle. It has been in body shop going to 4th weeks. Still waiting for the claim approval. I asked for extension rental vehicle. She say it’s their policy at the 30 days. They cannot help me even vehicle is still in the shop. I don’t recommend it this Travelers Insurance company. They have some issue with their customer service.

    Travelers Auto Insurance Company has got to be one of the world’s most incompetent, lamest and laziest insurance companies on the planet. One of Travelers business clients committed fraud and performed careless repairs on my vehicle. I provided Travelers with photos, videos, mechanic comments and repair estimates. Travelers then claimed that they have to see the vehicle's damages anyway. Obviously, Travelers likes to play the role of an ASE Certified Mechanic. They recommend that I not drive the vehicle but then refused to give me a rental car. Travelers then took 12 days to come out and look at my vehicle just to see and take photos of the same exact damages that I already gave them previously. Travelers took a total of 15 days just to advise that they are not going to cover any damages now. What a waste of time and money. Stay away!

    I commercial truck hit me and break my driver side mirror. They don’t answer the calls and after they answer they asked me to get an estimate from a shop to repair it. The estimate came for $386. They only send $168 and they said that’s what their estimate department approved. My pickup was parked and the truck driver Apologies for the accident but this insurance is bad.

    I was using a valet parking at a hospital that was insured by Travelers. An employee working for the valet company turned too sharply and crushed the side of the truck bed. I got a quote from a body shop and sent the quote to the claims adjuster. The correct way to make this repair is to replace the complete side of the bed. The claims adjuster called the body shop and asked them to re-quote the repair by beating out the dents and skimming over with filler to smooth out the surface prior to painting. After talking with multiple body shops they all agree that the correct way to repair the damage is to replace the complete panel. It came from the factory with straight sides and I expect it to have straight sides when the repairs are complete. I personally don't think that this is a good company to have a policy with or have a claim against. All they care about is doing things on the cheap. I'll probably have to sue them if we can't reach an agreement.

    Do not trust Travelers choice for road service. I live in Rocklin, California, and recently required road service through Travelers. The company they contracted with is shabby and gave me very inferior life-threatening service for a tire that blew on the freeway after their service person assured me the tire was good to go. I went to the road service company and was treated poorly and no apology or restitution was made even when my complaint went corporate to Hartford, Connecticut. Shame on Travelers. I dropped them.

    I've had insurance with Travelers for 6 months during which my monthly payment was $54. I used their app to monitor my driving and received an excellent rating. I had been told at time of purchase that this would lower my premium costs. So I was shocked when I received my premium package and my monthly rate for the next 6 months has INCREASED to $72. I was lied to. I am now searching for a new, honest provider if there is such a thing.

    I was hit by an insured from Travelers. I filed a claim but it was denied without having insufficient evidence as to why it was denied simply because their insured lied about what happened and they choose to side with them. I contacted the Travelers agent and was very rude and unproffesional. Hung up on me twice. Didn't even try to hear me out. Horrible experience ever.

    Travelers is the most unprofessional insurance company of all time. I was rear ended by a Travelers client earlier this year. Most of the claim was handled adequately, then things went downhill. After the damages were fixed I filed a diminished value claim. It was promptly denied. When I asked to be elevated to a member of management, I was ignored - twice. I have the emails where I professionally asked to be elevated and the responses from Travelers which refused to recognize my request. When I filed an online complaint on the Travelers WWW site, it was also ignored.

    At some point this company SHOULD have elevated my claim and at least entered into a dialog. I then filed a complaint with the NC Department of Insurance. The company did respond to them but basically said we aren't paying because we are not required to by NC statute. They NEVER offered proof as to why my claim was not valid. I suffered financial loss and they refused to even dialog about a settlement because legally they didn't have to. Legal obviously, but horribly UNETHICAL. If you are a victim of a Travelers client I hate it for you. Be ready for them to screw you over at every turn.

    I am not insured by Travelers, but have been trying to recoup out-of-pocket expenses from an accident caused by their insured driver. The “claim handler” I have been assigned to has purposely ignored me, repeatedly, and has refused to do anything with my claim. Worse, she seems to have a basic lack of knowledge about what subrogation entails. It’s astounding that she could remain employed and be so inept.

    Here is what happened. A new driver insured by Travelers drove into my car. The liability was clearly on her side, and my no-fault collision insurance covered the (extensive) bodywork minus my deductible. My insurance company will subrogate Travelers for both the repairs and the deductible. So I will get my deductible, I am sure. However, I am not covered for the rental car I had to hire while my car was in the shop (for more than a week), and my insurance won’t help me recoup that cost from Travelers.

    The “handler” at Travelers will not act on my claim — I established my own claim because the driver had not reported the accident to her insurer — because she says it all has to be “a submitted to subrogation in the same file” as the rest of the costs. In other words, she seems to think that my insurance is handling this, even though I told her multiple times that it is not. I tell her that the car rental is not part of the subrogation. I emphasize that it is a simple reimbursement to me, not to my insurance company, because my insurance does not cover car rental. She ignores me. Or maybe she does not comprehend because it’s too complicated for her. Either way, I may never see my money. Unethical, dishonest, inept.

    I met an accident in October 2018 at Columbus, Ohio. It took them 3 months to reimburse my claim for a rental vehicle and damage for my car. Very unprofessional, manipulative agents work in their claim department who gave me a very hard time to pay the money back for an accident which was not even my fault. Won't recommend it to anyone.

    I added a driver. It should have raised my premium by $200.00, but it raised them by over $500.00. When I questioned it the agent acted like I was stupid for not understanding why $200.00 + $200.00 does not equal over $700.00. There is not an ounce of honesty in this company. Don't even consider doing business with them! You will regret it.

    On Jan. 16, 2019, I was in a car accident, I was traveling southbound in the right lane. I was struck by a sand truck by a vehicle making a u-turn directed by a NYC flagger from the northbound lane which caused damage to my car (1,659.35). Travelers Ins. Offered me 10%. They need to pay this bill in full.

    My Dad just turned 80 years old and for his birthday he got a bill for $3200 from Travelers. No accidents except for one drunk that hit him in the rear while stopped at a traffic light and no speeding tickets. He drives a 2015 Spark worth about 12k or so. His coverage is minimal with a $1000 deductible yet his insurance is 3200. This should be criminal.

    I left Travelers back in November because they raised my premium again with no notification and found out only after the money had come out of my account. The day my new policy would have started I called to switch and they said as long as I did it that day I shouldn’t have a charge. I went ahead and switched to Geico and later was billed for a bogus $50 charge I was never communicated of when I asked about leaving them. It seemed so unfair and dirty to charge something like that for leaving them so after trying to fight the fee and getting turned down I didn’t pay it.

    Now it’s a couple months later and they sent me to collections so I bit my tongue and paid. During the couple years I was with them I always received terrible customer care and they never sent communications out to me. Every time my insurance went up I never got a new quote and once I sent them my driving record to prove it was clean and they still raised my premium. If you like surprises and to be screwed over then this company is for you.

    I was in an auto accident with a Travelers insured and Travelers accepted full responsibility for the accident. I submitted the estimates to Travelers in the amount of 1832.01. At no time was I called or notified they changed the amount of the estimate. I was mailed a check for 600.00 less than the estimate. I had to call the claims agent to find out why. I was told the shop and claim agent talked and lowered the estimate. Now I can't even get my car repaired without spending 600.00 out of my pocket for an accident that Travelers took responsibility for.

    We were given an auto quote with all of our information filled out (including a listing of recent accidents). Called back a few more times to make adjustments to the quote, gave it a few weeks to think over, and then called again to pay for the plan. Then, was told that we're not eligible. After talking to multiple people on several occasions. They pulled the rug out from under us and didn't honor the quote they gave us. Talked to a manager and was told that "our quotes works for 19 out of 20 people". What? They should care about providing excellent service for everyone. Extremely disappointing, unprofessional service. Unlike any other auto insurance I have contacted. Cannot believe the level of deception, rudeness, and disrespect that we encountered. Left comments and messages on their Facebook page, and they ignored them... Don't understand they're still in business.

    Travelers has great customer service and is available for most of the evening hours to talk to customer service representatives. Most of the representatives are cheerful and helpful and will answer all of your questions. A minor problem is that they are not available to answer basic customer questions late at night. They are also a little pricey, but most insurance companies are. The area I live in doesn't have much choice in insurance companies and they are the best coverage for the price, even with this price tag.

    I canceled my policy with my Travelers agent two weeks before the expiration date. I am told by Travelers that I am being billed because the agent did not cancel the policy and waited for it to expire for nonpayment. I did not agree to a renewing contract. The agent, Insurance Agencies of Ohio in Worthington, OH tells me my new insurance agent did not send them cancellation forms. This is nonsense. I canceled the policy well in advance. And Travelers, who sends the bills, tells me they can’t fix it. The agent has to.

    My family used to love this insurance company, as it was a great price for the coverage we got. However we recently noticed that they had been raising our premium up by $20 for the past couple of years. When we contacted them about it, we were given the runaround for days before we finally were able to talk to someone who knew why this was happening - and the reasoning was because our area has a high amount of accidents. It does not matter that we have not had an accident ourselves or even so much as a ticket, and we get no benefit for being good drivers.

    I am a Travelers customer. I have auto and homeowners insurance through them. I was in an accident May 24, 2018. It was not my fault. I got rear ended by a girl that just got her driver's license and was texting and driving. I contacted my insurance company the same day and told them what happened. Sent in the police report. They stated that they have not heard from the other driver's insurance and would contact me when they did. I was also informed that until they heard from the other insurance company if I wanted my car fixed I would have to pay the deductible myself. So I waited almost a month to get my car fixed when they were able to get a hold of the other insurance company. The other insurance company MetLife took responsibility and sent me a $500 deductible check. I was then told to let Travelers know where I was sending the car for repairs. I did so and it went from there.

    Got my car fixed. Had a really bad experience with the rental company. And then I received my renewal policy two weeks ago. My insurance went up almost $500. I called Travelers and spoke to a lady that told me I had to pay for the increase because Travelers has not gotten their Money back from the other insurance company. She said that they had to make sure they got some of their money back one way or another. I told her that I pay for insurance for this specific reason. She then told me that I had to contact someone else for that matter. After calling and leaving messages for 7 different people I still have not received a call back from 4 of them and still don’t have a resolution. After all said and done I spoken seven people and no one could give me an answer.

    Then on October 13th 2018 I received a check from Travelers for $500 stating that the deductible was paid in full. I called on Monday, October 15, 2018 and requested to hear back from my claims representative which was Ross, have not heard back from him since. I called and left a message for his manager and still have not Gotten a return phone call. I called her again this morning 10/17/ 2018 and called her from my cell phone she did not answer. Then I called her from my work phone and she answered right away. I asked her about the check. She states that they accidentally sent me $500 check by mistake and they have put a stop payment on it.

    She then goes and tells me that she received a check from the other insurance company but are waiting for $300 and some odd dollars more. So then I asked her if they were going to take the increase off of my insurance and she said that I had to be contacted by somebody else. Have not heard back from them. This company is only worried about their money and not about their customers, they don’t return phone calls and they have poor customer service. I will be finding another insurance company as well as another homeowners insurance company. When you get in an accident your insurance company is supposed to be there for you not for themselves. Worst insurance company out there.

    We tried to cancel this auto policy to switch to a better company. So when we switched we thought it was a done deal. Well, apparently it wasn't for them. We have since received bills and now collection calls regarding the policy that we canceled. I am so fed up with these clowns. Now, I have to hear collection calls and receive a bad rating on my credit rating. Don't even think that Travelers Insurance is the policy to switch to. Believe me. Keep the one that you currently have. If I could give them a minus 5 rating that's what they deserve.

    I was shocked then humored by this letter I received from Travelers just a mere 2 weeks after purchasing auto and home insurance through them. My shingled roof is 10 years old in great condition. Had a guy 3 months ago blow off any small branches... Gutters have caps so no need to have them cleaned. He used his phone to video my roof to show me how it looked. Just received this letter from Travelers which identified the following condition: Roof has heavy moss growth and needs to be removed. And they want me to provide pictures and work receipts. I am livid and of course will not renew and hope I have no claims or dealings with this insurance company in the coming year.

    HOW DO THEY KNOW I HAVE MOSS ON MY ROOF??? When were they on my property without my knowledge or approval???? They seem to look for a future issue to say it was preexisting and maybe refuse claims. I think this company needs a class action against it doing things like this. Not once in my life have I ever seen someone cleaning a shingle roof. This is insane. I have the most expensive furnace that has the heat go out the side of my basement, not even the chimney. BE wary of this company. Wish I had seen all the one star reviews before I switched.

    They are thieves. I canceled my insurance before the due date because I got a lower quote from State Farm and Travelers charge me half price anyway, I was told by Travelers agent that I can cancel before the due date and I won’t have to pay anything, but later on another agent told me I have to pay half of the total cost. TRAVELERS INSURANCE COMPANY IS A LIAR AND BUNCH OF UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES WORK THERE who don't know what they are talking about.

    I was scammed by the company "Travelers Insurance". They offered me a good rate for homeowner and auto insurance pack for the first 6 months. The auto insurance then went up in the next renewal by more than the double! After three calls trying to know what caused the huge increase to my premium, I got the most ridiculous answer, that for some unknown reason, their system did not detect the two accidents I had during the past 2 years!! Then, surprisingly enough, the system was fixed and reflected the accidents! I was very clear declaring these accidents while providing my information to the company, in addition to the report they ran.

    I bought a second car based on the premium they gave me and modified the policy 2 times during the first 6 months without any significant increase. They denied to keep the same premium we are currently paying for the next renewal, especially that we (my wife and I) did not get any tickets or had any accidents for the last year and half. And my understanding is that the premium usually goes down as the accidents get old. Now, I have to shop for a new homeowner policy and auto insurance policy and lose the new auto purchase discount because of them!!

They proceed to tell me I owe them that exact same amount for back charges...nothing but a scam. I will file a complaint with the state attorney general for fraud and try to recoup my money.

    What is the point of home insurance if they won't cover water damage in my home? My air conditioner malfunctioned, leaked everywhere, and caused major mold damage. The previous owners clearly let it go on for a while. It was so molded that a wooden beam HOLDING UP MY HOUSE was completely saturated and rotted. As a result, we had to tear out an entire bathroom and replace EVERYTHING. Travelers told us "we don't have a claim" because it wasn't a leak? Awesome, thank you for all of your help. Between this scam, and a home warranty, we have gotten 0 help from anyone.

    I pay a lot for comprehensive auto insurance through Travelers. I was in the store when a thief broke into my vehicle. Busted both front and rear windows (front glass didn't shatter so he shattered the rear). Naturally I contacted Travelers to get the damage fixed. Long story short, when the adjuster arrived I asked if it was even worth filing since I have a $1000 deductible. I told him I had received quotes of $1000-$1200 to repair the window glass and so this might just be a waste of his time. Adjuster assured me, "let me see what I can do first". Adjuster comes back 40 min later and says he calculated $2200 in damages... he added every little plastic piece that GM is proud of to come to that total. Surprised but happy because at least it would cover the repair.

    Fast forward a couple months later - I notice an increase in my rates of $400 (for 6 months). Call to find out that indeed my rates will increase $800/yr FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS! So, effectively they stand to profit $4000 over the next 5 years from my misfortune! WHY THE HELL DO I PAY FOR INSURANCE IN THE FIRST PLACE?! Needless to say, I will not be renewing with Travelers and will never use them again. It's sickening to me that over the years I've paid them close to $10,000 (with no incidents), and they have the gall to profit from my misfortune. PATHETIC!

    I was in an accident when a woman backed into me and hit me and the lady was insured by Travelers Insurance and it has been nothing but hell ever since. I was pregnant and ended up miscarrying. I had my beta labs done two days prior to the accident and spoke with my doctor’s nurse told me that I am doing perfect. I had absolutely no issues with my pregnancy and I have been fighting with this insurance to get compensated for my loss and my stress and they are absolutely awful to deal with. Do not ever be insured by this company. I cannot even imagine having them as my insurance. They do not care at all about the person. All they care about is getting you out of their hair.

    The rep that my husband talked to is from Overland Park Kansas. He even laughed at my husband. Long story short my husband had put in a complaint with Consumer Affairs and all they did was put the complaint back to the rep's boss and it did absolutely nothing!!!! So thank you travelers and everyone involved with this for making this experience even more worse than it already was. I hope you’re proud of yourselves as long as you make your money who cares. Right? If I can give this place -10 stars I would. They don’t even deserve one star. It sucks because this review will do absolutely nothing to change anything.

    A lady backed into my car and damaged it. Her car had virtually no damage. I specifically went through her insurance since the fault was solely hers, I refused to have my insurance cost raised due to the fault of another. Travelers was a nightmare - horrible agents who refused to pay the full amount despite it clearly being the fault of their customer, refused to send a person out to look at the damages, prolonged the situation. After only agreeing to pay half, I appealed the claim again, and got denied again.

    The cost wasn't much, however it was a blatant insult to only pay half when it was crystal clear the other party was at fault. If I had gone through my insurance State Farm, they would have taken care of everything with no hassle, but at the cost of raising the cost of my insurance policy. I'm so frustrated by this horrible experience, NEVER purchase Travelers. While I understand insurance companies are designed to NOT pay, the cost of NOT covering even minor claims for their customers displays scamming at its finest.

    I was a passenger in a car accident - driver (with Travelers insurance) was at fault. I was injured. The claims rep led to believe that Travelers would be taking care of paying back what my personal medical insurance paid. I was paid a settlement for my personal healthcare bills and some extra for time off work/compensation. Basically I found out 4 months later that Travelers lied to me. They never took care of the insurance subrogation and now I have to pay $1000 to my insurance (which is a lot on my salary; I already spent the rest of the settlement on my car repairs {my car wasn’t involved in the accident}).

    My insurance agent made them send us a copy of the documentation showing that subrogation was included in the settlement. I was never sent this documentation and the rep never told me I needed to take care of my insurance. He made me think that they were taking care of that. He no longer works there so I couldn’t speak to him, but his manager wasn’t bothered at all that I’d been lied to. Didn’t even care. If you have a claim with them, demand to see everything in writing before you take any money! They will lie to you!

    I am insured with Travelers for the past 4 years and I am very happy with their claims process. We had two incidents, of them one in 2016 where I hit an animal necessitating repairs to the front of the vehicle. The claims process was seamless, the adjustor from Travelers was reasonable and wanted to make sure that the hit was indeed an animal hit and not any "concrete or steel animal". I liked his overall humor, he let us choose our collision center and we chose to be paid for OEM parts only, and he acceded. We took the car to the Mercedes-Benz Collision Center and all costs were completely covered between the collision center and Travelers. No questions were asked and our insurance rates didn't increase.

    Recently, we bought another used car (4 year old Sedan), and called Travelers for insurance. We were dismayed to find that our insurance rate for that car would be $100 every month which is almost double of the other cars we have insured through them. So we are not happy and started looking for alternatives, and found several options for $50-60 cheaper per month. I have liked Travelers, so I am debating whether I will leave them, but it seems that this time, I will have to leave as their quote is too high (higher than almost all other quotes I received) except for Metlife.

    My parents had Travelers Auto Insurance so I got them too. The process was super simple. I sent an email, asked for a quote, they sent me a quote and I completed everything online so it didn't cost me time having to take off work. I like that my rates last year seemed pretty low or decent which was nice with me being young and recently off my parents' policy. However, it really bothers me that my insurance policy went up $13 this year and I have had no accidents and no claims in my vehicle is now a year older. I figure my rates go up because now I'm paying for all of the people who put in claims from Houston and Florida and California because of all the natural disasters and all of their claims I'm suffering now which is just not fair.

    Purchasing from Travelers Auto Insurance was very easy. I called in to get a free quote and had insurance within 10 minutes. They have top notch customer service. Any time I have called in with a question or an issue, they helped with no problem. I also have a son, and they helped with getting him insurance. The only dislike is that I called one day to check on roadside assistance and they do not offer that. Other than that, if I needed anything, they would be more than willing to help.

    I never had any issues with Travelers Auto Insurance from the day I first called them to now. I like that the customer service is well and prompt with any and all issues I may have. Many times I have called for question and had them answered immediately. Everything has been taken care of in a professional manner anytime I have called.     I like the coverage Travelers Auto Insurance provides. They are reliable and reasonably priced. I also like the extras that are included at no additional cost. Also, I really enjoy the mobile app and the ease of access that my company provides. Travelers does an excellent job in customer service as well as their representatives are friendly and helpful. However, I dislike that I don't always get a quick response back in regards to claims. I also don't like that sometimes when I make payments it doesn't always post automatically. I have to always call to see if my auto payment was accepted.

    The policy I have is Travelers and they provide a very thorough policy that not only covers me but my passengers. Luckily, my insurance man works in my office so we have a personal relationship. They provide the best customer service. However, I am not a huge fan of the prices as it is expensive. I wish that someone else not under my policy is covered under my insurance if they are driving my car.

    Travelers Auto Insurance was offered through my work and the purchasing process went very well. They gave a small discount and also do payroll deductions so I do not need to worry about sending in a payment. But they recently sent me a letter stating there may be other drivers in my household and that if I did not fill out the questionnaire they may raise my rates. My daughter changed her last name which was one and the other was my brother sending his mail to my house while his was getting built. I do not feel it is any of their business who is at my house and I wonder how they got that information. But so far there have not been any issues with them and they have been helpful when needed. They are very friendly and personal. My daughter was in a small fender bender and they called several times to make sure everything was alright and taken care of for both my daughter and also the person that she rear ended.

The Travelers agent we talked to was thorough, knowledgeable and helpful in getting our policy switched over and at an affordable price.     It's easy to purchase a policy from Travelers Auto Insurance and the paperwork for obtaining a policy was simple. They work with my local insurance agency which is convenient and made the transition to Traveler's easy. Also, their pricing is very reasonable for my spouse and I. They offer discounts for multi-policy which is nice for homeowners and their coverage is good for the price. What I didn't like though is the pricing for my teenager. The quotes were through the roof for her so we ended up purchasing a separate policy for her with a different vendor. She is an honor student and attended a reputable driver's ed course which I though would help but it did not.

    I walked into a local agent's office and she sold me a Travelers policy. It was very simple to do. As far as my overall experience it was great. I liked the price, and they were right on top of any claims that I made. Very easy to work with, too. I was happy with the service and I had no complaints about the company, only the agent, she is why I changed companies. After my divorce she became very rude towards me and told me that I couldn't be insured by Travelers anymore and would have to change to a company that was 3 times the price.

    Travelers has really good coverage for all types of customer needs. It has been basically in cruise control since I've had it, and it's never let me down. All in all they treat their customers well. Their policy was really easy to obtain which was exceedingly nice. Additionally they have always been very fair with their prices. For instance my prices have gone down each year since being with Travelers and I haven't contacted them at all to do so. But my biggest grievance with Travelers insurance company is the difficulty they impose on their customers when trusting to switch addresses. There is no way that any process should be so hard.

    Travelers Auto Insurance has friendly customer service. Customer service has always been very helpful when I have questions. Patient and understanding my confusion and concerns and explaining how bundling policies work, and how much of a discount I get. I love being able to use the automatic payments and that they gave me a discount with multiple accounts. I can also find all of my policy information online and even print my insurance cards from my account. But I've had a hard time reviewing my policy and agreeing to it when it's time for a renewal or when I updated something.

    I have no faith in any insurance companies. They are very much all about protecting their bottom line and no matter which one they are too big they raise rates constantly. All should be more regulated. I was stopped was hit my new car. Travelers handled it successfully but then raised my insurance. Travelers' typical and not for me.

    It was easy to purchase from Travelers Auto Insurance over the phone. It is also easy to file a claim and to get it started. They will go over every step with you. Had a rental car right away. Their insurance is cheap too. However, they didn't get the policy right and excluded certain things that I asked for. Travelers did not stick up for me in an accident I was involved in when it wasn't my fault. I got the run around when my top denture got broke and it never got repaired. They are slow with getting claims started yet they want to settle claims way too quick. They have horrible customer service.

    I've had the same insurance for years and years and the customer service has been pretty good. My broker helps me to access needs and decide if I need to up amounts. They have affordable coverage and I like the app they have in case there's an incident. I have my insurance card and can file a claim easily. But I dislike that their roadside assistance only covers the vehicle that is insured. Coincidentally, the ONLY time I've needed it was when I had to swap cars with my dad and they couldn't send anyone out.

    Travelers Auto Insurance's bundled with my home insurance so the cost is cut down and affordable. They also offer roadside assistance which is always helpful in case something comes up. I've been pretty satisfied with the insurance. I would definitely like to download the app if they have one in case of emergencies. Overall experience was very easy and pleasant. I shopped and purchased through my mortgage broker and she worked with me to find the right policy for mine and my car's needs.

The first time I had to contact them, my 17 year old son had an accident and totaled our small car. The SUV in front of him had to suddenly hit her brakes and he did not stop in time. The other driver said she was fine, but the moment her husband showed up at the scene, he rushed her to a chiropractor. Her car, believe it or not, only suffered bumper damage. But the accident was enough for her to claim damages against us beyond the bumper repair. There were several Travelers' reps handling each step of the process. The person responsible for communicating with the other driver and settling the claim against us, kept us informed and remained calm the entire time. She understood my frustration and fear.

    About nine months later, she had resolved the issue and settled the claim. Her constant reassurance that she had many years of experience in working these types of claims and reassurance that she was working hard for us really helped reduce my anxiety. I really appreciated her professionalism. The next claim was against my jewelry rider. I had placed my wedding ring in a small container to wash dishes. The next day, I had two appliance installers come by to install a new oven. My mother and I were in the kitchen the entire time. They were in and out within 15 minutes because they said they couldn't do the work due to warranty issues. I think in the few seconds I bent down to sign the work order that the job could not be done, is when one of the guys snatched my ring out of its place. I never even thought about my ring just sitting there.

    After they left, I got ready to leave and it was then I realized my ring was missing. I searched for that ring all day. I couldn't believe that he could have stolen my ring while I was right in the kitchen! I called the owner of the company, filed a police report and called Travelers. I wasn't going to file a claim because I kept hoping for a miracle. But the Travelers rep suggested I do so. Even though I didn't get my ring back, Travelers paid me the value of the stolen ring within two weeks and I was able to replace it with a similar one. It was very painful to have someone steal my wedding ring, but Travelers' prompt payment to replace my ring, helped me deal with it and appreciate that there are others who still do right thing. Finally, last year someone hit my son in a parking lot. The other driver thought it was a small repair and didn't want me to report it.

    He offered to pay for it. However, when I took the car for an estimate, I was told it would be about $2000. I had no choice but to report it because he was not going to pay the $2000 repair. As it turned out, he denied being at fault. Before I arrived at the scene, he had my son move the car and my son did not take photos right away. Teens are shaken up, no matter how small the accident. The other driver's insurance company denied the claim. I was forced to pay my deductible to have the car repaired. I was contacted by Travelers several times that they would try to recoup my money. I gave up hope. It's about 10 months later and I just received a check for my deductible. I was shocked and very pleased.

    Travelers never gave up working for me. I know this is a long review, but I wanted to share how Travelers worked for me in these three different scenarios. Sure, the auto claims were not resolved in days, but the fact is, they never gave up working for me. They kept me informed. They remained calm when I was upset. They were professional. And by the way, my rates remained competitive. I have stayed with Travelers for many many years now, and hope to stay with them for a long time. Thank you Travelers.

    I did like Travelers car insurance because they had many options to pay my car insurance! I had the option to pay over the phone, online or in person!! Sometimes I would pay in person because sometimes I would have to wait til the last possible day to pay it! The features online were so easy to use! Once you learn to sign on you can never forget!! Customer service was always ready online to help you if you had any questions. Usually it took a day or two to have it account updated! If you found any errors, they fixed it right away

    Other than that, the insurance company should reward drivers for good driving records! There are other companies out there that reward drivers for good driving! If you have good driving for 6 months at a time, they should take money off your next month insurance! Or some companies give you $100 off their deductible if you had an accident! Also, when a person has an accident, they should have a rep come to the auto mechanic with in 1 day of the accident. I never had to have them come to an accident, just knew someone who did. It took them 3 days to come look at the car.

    My overall experience of the company was ok. I had paid a lot for my first car insurance company! Travelers was the only company to give me a chance. But my insurance was a lot of money! That's why after 3 years of Travelers promising me to lower my insurance year after year, I went to Geico! I actually saved 1,200 for the first year with Geico! Although Travelers had some good points, I just hope they changed their shatter a little.

    I purchase this insurance through a broker who has my best interests at heart. I have purchased other insurance through them and have been well served. Fair pricing is very important as well as good service and I feel that I receive both from Travelers. I also feel secure that they will honor claims fairly and in a timely manner. But of course, I would love to have my rate lowered and would appreciate more considerations for my outstanding record and low mileage if possible.

    I have been with Travelers over five years. It was part of my employment. They bundle, provide excellent customer service and are reasonably cheaper than others... Also they provide good information on what is the best when it comes to fixing your car. It provided me substantial reduction in payments but since I have been with them I haven't seen where they offer any reductions unless I go up on my deductibles. I don't like that. Also, they should have better rates for good drivers and should provide lower rates for long standing clients that does not have accidents. Moreover, they also should provide two payments instead of one for homeowners policy.

    Travelers is great to deal with, had emergency while out of state with flat tire, had roadside assistance thru them and they were helpful in finding help to tow and transport my family... Their app is great to use too. However, I wish my insurance policy was a little cheaper... with discounts for time with them I know there is one. Just wish it was more and one for accident free... 7 yrs no claims should reward for that. Never had an accident so rate hasn't changed. Still have them for home too cheaper than other ones. First insurance company and overall very happy with them.

    Despite never being ticketed or in an accident, almost every company wanted to charge me $300/month for a used car, purely based on my age. I am young and poor so price matters a lot to me. Travelers Auto Insurance was the best policy I could get for the cheapest rate, but they could be cheaper. They have 100 mile range for roadside assistance and a great bundle deal. The agents are super friendly and windshield claims are easy to file. However, they're very difficult to communicate with over the phone, I'm constantly being redirected. They also failed to send over a copy of my policy to the bank for 3 months straight due purely to miscommunication and laziness, nearly forcing me to get Gap insurance.

    Travelers is easy to work with. Their website is user friendly and very accommodating. I also like that I can call 24 hours a day and 7 days a week and get help with any problem and any questions I have. They really try to fix my issues. I also like that they have people answer and not robots. However, they charge a $3.50 monthly handling fee because I have payment automatically withdrawn which I wish they did not. I pay a lot of money for insurance and I feel that the additional $3.50 is ridiculous.

    It was super easy setting up auto insurance with Travelers. All I needed was a VIN on my new vehicle and I was only on the phone for 10 minutes. I was surprised at the great rates and customer service. They are easy to work with and considerate regarding my time. It's a plus that the customer service rep was American as well. But having complete self service accessible through the website would be helpful. And what's weird is not having an agent that I can sit knee to knee and go through my policy and ask questions, but knowing how quickly I can get in touch with someone is reassuring.

    I really like my auto insurance and the features I enjoy are the automatic deductions. I dont have to remember to go on the website and set up a payment every month. I also like my insurance agent. We haven't had much interaction, but what we have has been good. I find it's very inexpensive, but I would probably make it even less expensive. I have found cheaper policies but I don't qualify for them. Other than that, everything including the process has been easy to do and not stressful. Their policy information has been easily read.

    I liked how much easier it was to get a quote at Travelers and how much cheaper they were than all the other companies. They generally make sense. Additionally, I love that they call me when I have issues and that everything can be done online. They are so nice when I am talking to them and totally understanding in the conversations. However, I would add a feature that makes your glass deductible $0 for each car at least 1x for each 5 years so that you get what you are paying for and not wasting money on a service that they never use and paying for something that someone else did like throwing a rock at your windshield.

    Travelers has always provided excellent support and treated me well. This insurance has been very reliable as I have also had 4 teenage drivers being covered at different times by Travelers. The website is clear and easy to understand as well. However, there has been very little frustration, disappointment or unhappiness with this insurance company over the lifetime of my policy. There have been times that I wish there were different payment plans that could be used many years ago, but this has been much more simplified with the introduction of online payment via the Travelers website.

    Nevertheless, the overall experience has been excellent. I first purchased this insurance shortly after my wife and I were married in 1988. With each additional vehicle and driver that have been added to the policy this insurance company has been easy to navigate. With every unfortunate incident that has occurred over the years there has been a minimal amount of difficulty during the stressful times of an accident or a totaling of a vehicle.

    I found the price I was offered at Travelers Auto to be extremely competitive for the amount of coverage required by the state of Nebraska, which is liability only. But I wouldn't recommend this company due to the way they handled the cancellation of my coverage without any warning due to an accident even though the other driver was ticketed and I was not. The customer service representative kept referencing company policy instead of giving an actual answer to my question of why I was being penalized for the carelessness of another driver. They felt very impersonal and seemed to just see customers as dollars and not as human beings.

    It was easy to purchase the policy with Travelers Auto Insurance but it's a waste of money. I pay over 1000$ a year for it and if you never use it you've paid thousands into nothing. No return. So where does my money go after all the years paying into it? I'm well over 100,000 in so why keep taking my money? Why not just hold it until something happens and I need to actually use it? Not keep paying into it until I don't drive any longer. It should stop at a certain point.

    I don't like any of the features that's why I switched, I had asked to cancel my insurance and they said they would. Then I called 5 days later and they still hadn't cancelled. Instead, they sent me to collections. I called and they said there was no note of me calling to cancel when clearly I had cancelled 3 different times. They are very arrogant and so big. Just so they can charge you late fees. They need to cancel when they say they will.

    I have had coverage through Travelers for forty years. Purchasing the insurance was an easy process and I'm yet to talk to a customer service agent who acted disinterested in helping. They are customer oriented and easy to work with. They respond promptly and accurately when questions or an issue arises. They have a strong sense of business ethics. However, their rates go up seemingly without cause, although that can be said of the entire industry. I am vexed because we had a 10% increase this year after no claims for over ten years.

    Our insurance agent had no issues switching me and my husband to Traveler's Insurance. It was painless, and we saved a lot of money by switching, as well as gaining extra coverage. Traveler's Insurance is very reputable but perhaps more promotions or offers might be nice, and a bit more interaction on the website.     We are really happy with Travelers. It's an affordable auto insurance and it offers a lot. I love the option of the yearly premium and the option they give for roadside assistance and rental. The claim process is really easy and fast too. It's an easy process to buy and love to renew every year instead of every 6 months. However, I would improve their website. It would be great if it was more user-friendly and included options to make changes through there like adding a rental. They should also offer the option to pay online and not charge more for it. I don't really like automatic payments because sometimes you wonder when they will take the payment out. Sometimes is a different day than they're supposed to.

    I got the insurance policy thru my job. It is group insurance for auto and travelers. Did not have to worry about my payments being late or forgetting. My job and Travelers made the payments easy for me by taking the payment out once a month thru our direct deposit account in checking on our job pay date. Also Travelers had good auto coverage with renters insurance included. The only thing I did not like was the amount they wanted to withdraw from my account. They took out two payments a month so I could be one month ahead. That plan really took a lot out of my paycheck every month making it hard to stay within my budget for the rest of my bills.

    I purchased the insurance through another company who have dealt with for years who have been very helpful, aggressive and concerned with my financial being. When I phoned them I've always been treated with the utmost respect and attention. I've been given direct phone call numbers and contact names and my questions and concerns have always been directed promptly. Any concern was never made a major issue but yet attended to. But I wish they would do a promotion or a benefit where you would get a bonus or a credit for recognizing good driving with no accidents and help make the premiums a little bit cheaper or appreciate their customers.

    Went on line, talked to friends and called many car insurance companies like Progressive, Geico, Allstate, AAA, etc. Some insurance companies took our information and promised to call back with a quote but they never did. Travelers Auto Insurance was recommended by a good friend after we cancelled our old policy with State Farm after they refused a valid claim. We were persuaded to go with Travelers which he had been with for over 35 years and was extremely satisfied.

    However, we would like lower premium payments and wish Travelers would break them up quarterly like State Farm did for a very nominal fee. Our new company said they would but would charge 18% interest on the balance of the premium until it was paid in full. It would have amounted to hundreds of dollar per year so we decided to pay cash because we got a good premium amount.

    Travelers Auto Insurance charge a reasonable fee, offer quality insurance, and quickly resolve any claim we may have. The agent was friendly and knowledgeable, and quick to help with any questions we had. My husband purchased the policy before we were married and added me after. The agent was very informative and helpful and it took just a few minutes for me and my vehicle to be added to my husband’s policy. But I would like it if they offered the accident forgiveness. The deductible would go down each year you were accident free, going down as low as a zero deductible. Or a cash back program for being accident free or low accidents for each state.

    Stay away from Travelers... as a client or someone that’s submitting a claim! As a client you pay all this money monthly for insurance but they will never pay the other person you’ve been in a wreck with... and god pray you don’t get in a wreck with someone that has Travelers Insurance! I was rear-ended on the freeway 70 days ago in my new BMW, I hadn’t even made a single payment! First they forced me to open a claim through my insurance as I was told it will take a month for them to admit fault! WTH! So I had to open a claim, pay my $500 deductible out of my pocket, I had to pay $900 rental car out of pocket, I had the car ceramic coated 2 days prior to this guy crashing into me $1,000 which was ruined, AND my company had to pay some $7,000 in repairs.

    Guess what? I got my car repaired and returned before Travelers even admitted fault, even after I went to my DPS, got the report and faxed it to them! Well it’s now been 70... yes 70 days and they STILL HAVE NOT paid my company back and HAVE NOT paid me my out of pocket! I’m beyond pissed and I would never recommend this company. Just this week took me 10 days to get ahold of my Travelers “agent” on my case. She stated it’s still in review and she doesn’t know when it will be paying out. I responded at 90 days I will contact my attorney and sue... for the $1700 out of pocket, my 3 days of lost work $3,000 and my attorney fees at $380 per hour. She could care less. What a crap company! They get paid millions and I can’t even get $1700 paid to me. Now I’m calling BBB and also my local news, I want the world to know about this nightmare cheap nightmare insurance company. STAY AWAY ALL!!! God Bless.

    Affordability is a key. I like how Travelers does not cost as much as others. I have browsed around for an insurance that will not rob my wallet and this seems to be one of the low costs one. But I prefer to bundle my car with my rental but they do not have rental insurance. I also would like a bundle with a motorcycle insurance. It would be more convenient if I can pay all my insurances in one bundle. I hope that in the future they will have more options.

    I relocated To South Carolina and I call several different companies directly and the prices quoted were very high. Then I found an agent down here and got the best plan. Travelers has the best price of all the companies I contacted and their customer service department is wonderful. I recently had to file an uninsured motorist claim and the claim department was also wonderful and my experience went extremely smooth. I also worked with the billing department and they helped me take care of an issue.

    It was very easy to purchase Travelers Auto insurance on their website. I was able to securely and quickly purchase Travelers Auto Insurance with my credit card. The concierge service made it very easy to have my claim serviced. The staff of Travelers were friendly and easy to work with as well. However, it would be great if Travelers Auto Insurance had a mobile app to get serviced and it would also be great if Travelers Auto Insurance had the same coverage at less cost.

    The purchasing process was easy and uncomplicated. We have been with Travelers over 25 years and have no complaints with their service both home and auto. Travelers is reliable and knowledgeable and affordable. Travelers has excellent customer service and they are always willing to help. There is a customer service agent available around the clock and there is never an extended wait over the phone. However, the last accident with my car, my son was driving. The accident was not his fault. The other insurance company would not pay the full claim, only partial. They said, if my son had been going slower, he could have stopped in time. Travelers backed them up and would not take any further action.

    My boyfriend already had Travelers so I was familiar with the website. I purchased it online by myself and their website was incredibly easy to use. I immediately got an insurance card.     After moving my secondary home to Travelers. They are marking me as non renewal. Because my tenant has an English Mastiff. The English Mastiff is called the gentle giant for a reason. I have never seen in the news about an English Mastiff attack or read about one. This company is ridiculous in labeling all mastiffs on their blacklist. There are many mastiff breeds and most are not aggressive at all. I will be moving my insurance again. If you have a dog over 5 pounds in weight. STAY AWAY FROM TRAVELERS.

    Overall, I had a good experience with Travelers Auto Insurance and would still have them if they would have been able to cover our vehicle with a salvage title. We are very loyal with the companies that we choose and would have stayed loyal to this company given better circumstances. Still, I would recommend this company to a friend or family member as a good option if it fit their needs. They were affordable for good, quality coverage. They were also easy to get a hold of and work with to change my coverage.

    We have been with this company for 4.5 years. I also use them to protect my house with renter's insurance. When I have talked to them they were very nice and professional. I have not had to use them for any reason but I hope that when and if I do use them it is a good experience. I get a little bit of a multivehicle discount but still pricey. Maybe be a little bit cheaper for the people who can't afford expensive insurance. I would also give safe driving bonuses like Allstate. That is a plus.

    At the time Travelers was the company with the cheapest quote. However, the rates go up every renewal period, with no accidents, claims or tickets. There is never an explanation of why provided and the bill is always paid on time if not ahead of time. We will be finding something new as I feel we've had better insurance policies in the past, and it was not what we were expecting.

However, I would change the time frame in which they respond to your online requests and also give more meaningful information on their website.     My Travelers auto insurance gives me the coverage I want at an comparable price through an agent that I have been using for a long time. Buying the insurance was easy and I get a yearly breakdown of my coverage and the price for each item so it is easy to understand my coverage. It has also been easy to change coverage if I purchase a different vehicle. My rates have not increased due to minor accidents or tickets but have increased a few times at renewal times and I am not given an explanation for the changes. I also would like to be able to customize my plans more by using a website to select things I want to change the coverage amounts on.

    I was referred to the agent by my realtor when I purchased my home last year. This agent was amazing and got my girls and I policies very quickly with the amount of insurance that would make sure we were covered well. The process and experience were smooth with little involvement on my part. I like that I can have my auto insurance combined with my homeowner's insurance policy and that they cover my adult children who live with me on my policy as well. I like the windshield replacement on my policy because in Colorado there is a lot of construction and dirt or small rocks and I can get a new windshield for each car once a year.

    However, the worst thing about my auto policy is that in order to get a great rate on my homeowner's policy I have to carry the auto as well and their auto insurance is not nearly as good of a rate as the homeowners. The other thing I do not like is that my agent never gets in touch with me and I have to call him. Lastly, there have been two times where travelers has said my daughter was not covered so while I was paying her premium they kept messing up my policy.

    They are great if I have questions or need to be towed. I also like when they send information in a timely matter. It's great to be able to rely on someone if for some reason I was to get into an accident. I don't like that my last insurance agency had a problem with their system and gave me grief, so that is why I exchanged from them.     We had a simple claim of a broken windshield as we traveled. They instantly responded and sent someone to replace it in our hotel parking lot! Lifesaver!     Travelers has been my worst experience in 40 years of having insurance. It took a total of 5 different people before they gave me the correct person for a rock in the windshield. Check your LexisNexis report to find out what they reported because it is difficult to change. After the one crack, they went up 37% in annual fee.

    We purchased our policy with them because they were a local representative and a number of our friends recommended them. The national agents are very knowledgeable and the insurance agent goes to our church. They have been very responsive to our needs and have always been courteous. They have never turned down a claim even when it was our fault. When I have had an accident they were prompt in answering our claim. We have always used their recommended auto shop and have not been disappointed.

    However, I would like a little more personal service. As they have grown we have received less personal service. When we first started with them we could drop by their office and get immediate service. Now they are in a meeting or some other excuse. I miss the personal attention that we used to receive. We have been with them a number of years and I recently called with a question and they did not call me back.

    Travelers Auto Insurance is the cheapest policy I found. The other companies were much more pricey for the same full coverage policy. I am making payments on my car so I need to have full coverage. However, they aren't so good getting back to me. I filed a claim and they did not get back to me after I left 2 messages.     I bought the insurance through a broker company that I now really do not like. The process was not bad, I corresponded with the broker through email, she found the company, got me a quote and I just paid the bill. There are no surprises with my policy. And I like the price and the online access. Also, customer service is always helpful and friendly. However, I dislike the wait times and I really dislike sitting on hold for a long time. I also dislike that there is no local office and I don't have a human I can talk to face to face about my policy.

    I live in a small town, so being able to go to the insurance agency if I have a problem is great. I like the multi car discount Travelers Auto offers and I can pay my bill online.     I purchased the initial policy and made subsequent changes (adding and removing vehicles, making claims) over the phone with an agent and it was very easy. Anytime I need to call the toll free customer service number with questions or to make changes or file a claim, I can always speak to a real person and their website is easy to use. But I would like for Travelers to also offer policies for motorcycles and recreational vehicles as well as their traditional policies, so I wouldn't have to purchase a policy from a different company to cover my motorcycle.

    I have been with the same company for a long time and they offer both Home and auto insurance. I have a hometown agent that is usually easy to contact. If not they are easy to contact directly and very responsive to my needs. But I wish they would give loyalty discounts as well. With there being so many insurance companies to chose from it has to mean something. I believe my rates are a little high for my age and driving record. But I have had my automobile break down and using my roadside assistance with my insurance, my son and I didn't have to wait long and customer service made sure we felt safe as we waited for towing service.

    Travelers Auto Insurance give me discounts for multiple vehicles, never having had a ticket or accident, staying a loyal customer & recently they've reduced my bill by $33 (I think for being with them for more than 3 years.) I like their prices as well. I also like the fact that my father (an insurance broker in another state) was very pleased with my using Travelers & told me they were a great company. Their agents always helpful & super polite & never make me feel stupid regardless of the questions I ask. They answer quickly & seem to want to help me whether I'm adding or deleting vehicles. I've used other companies, some weren't the best experience and others were ok, but since being with Travelers, I will not be changing again.     The premium at Travelers Auto Insurance is reasonable and they've always had our backs in regards to accidents and repairs. Everything is online and they are easy to contact and work with. It was simple and we pay online. We were also in a minor accident a few months back and they replaced both our children's car seats no questions asked, which I thought was great. But it could be a little less expensive. I feel like if I had time, I'd shop around and find a cheaper rate. I haven't had any huge problems with them though, they've been good to us.

    They were easy to register with. They had decent rates and were decent enough when I had an accident. Their rates are comparable with other companies. Naturally anyone would want the rates to be lower but what can you do? But they make things easy with automatic renewal and the people who answer the phones are nice and helpful. However, they could have explained things a little better when I had my accident. I had to ask too many questions about how to proceed when my vehicle was being fixed.     Purchasing is very convenient because it can be done online. I like that getting coverage online is easy and convenient. However, with the lack of follow up and customer service I would have to say that my experience has been below average. It's also very expensive for comprehensive coverage compared to other providers. Unfortunately when there are actual claims, customer service is less than stellar. They take a long time to look into accidents and do not follow up with details of the investigations requested.

Insurance was inexpensive, quoted more than 50 percent less than AAA insurance (my previous insurance). AAA insurance used to come with towing a year, but Travelers doesn't offer that. Also, AAA offers various travel discounts that Travelers do not. Still, I would recommend Travelers to others.

    Purchasing the insurance was very easy. My agent did all the research and every year when it's time to renew my policy my agent starts comparing company coverage with my previous year to see what quotes she gets from them. She will then call me to see what my final decision is. I'm always looking for a way to save money for me because the insurance companies are not thinking of that. Travelers was the best pricing of a number of companies, the lowest price of that year and also coverage that suits our needs.

    I would like a lesser or 0 deductible and additional discount for 0 claims the previous year though. These ins companies want to insure you but when it comes time to payout they're always looking for a reason not to pay out or not to help you out if you need an attorney to fight the other Ins company. Amazing how things have changed over the years and these big corporate companies think more of themselves and less of those that they insure. Everything is about increasing their bottom line which is what benefits their pockets.

    I had previous issues with being on hold forever to get a customer service agent when I was a customer of other insurance companies. I really discovered the value when I bought a new car. Travelers recommended adding extra glass insurance which I did end up needing. Travelers could have their rates to be lower but that would apply to any company. The wish would be that there was no deductible for additional insurance services that you pay for but even with the deductible I saved money. But one thing that I was impressed with was how easy to do the process of purchasing over the phone. I had to switch my policy from my old car to my new car and the customer service was easy to contact and they were very personable. It was quick to file a claim. Very satisfied.     I have car and homeowner insurance through Travelers and they are easy to deal with. It's easy to make claims, use website, and access cards. I mainly deal with an insurance guy and they also have friendly people when calling. I've been with the company for over 13 years and they have always handled any claim in a timely manner. But Travelers should offer better discounts to long-term members for length of service and for multiple policy discounts. They should also offer safe driver discount to one member if there are two on the policy but one doesn't have good record and other driver has a perfect record.

    Travelers Auto Insurance is your typical insurance company. If you are a perfect person with perfect credit, then you will be okay. We were happy with our coverage at first. We had really good coverage at an affordable yearly premium. But if you have a false claim against you, you are screwed. If you have bad credit, go elsewhere. Travelers Auto Insurance is expensive and I dislike how our premiums are constantly going up even with being accident free. Despite that, I never have had to call for any reason so you sure of their customer service.

    I called a local AAA and they recommended Travelers Insurance. It did not take long to get set up, and the lady who helped me was incredibly nice. The process was very easy for me.     Travelers Auto Insurance is very good and I had a great experience with them. They keep from having crashes and have to pay all of it. When I had a car crash they helped me get off my feet and pay half of my insurance to the car crash. Also my family uses a lot so that means I am the person that had it throughout my history. Kinda is a really helpful person that will always be by your side. But they can give at least 50,000 dollars to help pay for your car crash or something else. Also I dislike how the people that work for the insurance be so rude sometimes.

    I have a very positive experience overall with Travelers Auto Insurance. It has more comprehensive coverage than the discounted providers, but does not have pricing comparisons. Purchasing a plan was pretty straightforward. I like that Travelers offers roadside assistance which I utilized when I had a flat tire. I like that they provided prompt claim service, long track record in the insurance industry and a comprehensive policy. But it costs more than other insurance policies and I don't have local agent to speak directly with when I have questions. And their website could be a little more user-friendly.

    Travelers has great comprehensive coverage and is very responsive to all of my customer service needs especially when there is a problem or I have had an accident. They also offer different coverage packages and discounts to suit my needs. But I dislike that the coverage can be so expensive sometimes and difficult to parse if you haven't had full coverage before and don't want it. Travelers is a good choice for quality of coverage but there are lower priced options out there that could come close for people on a budget and I would recommend you look at all of your options before deciding because you can't afford to make mistakes on auto insurance coverage.

    Have had issues with issuance of home and car insurance policies since purchasing insurance in November. What was purchased in November 2017: Car insurance for Eos with both self and spouse covered, Car insurance on Santa Fe for both, Home insurance. What was changed in December: 1. Removal of Santa Fe December 8th and both on this policy. 2. Addition of Santa Fe and spouse with State Farm. 3. Payment for 6 months policy on Eos and driver. What actually happened: 1. Santa Fe with spouse as driver. 2. No home insurance was EVER issued. 3. Eos and self as driver without policy.

    Attempts for Resolution: 1. Continuous emails billing for spouse on Santa Fe policy. 2. Continually replying to emails attempting to remedy errors. 3. Continually calling for same. 4. Receiving promises for management to return calls, failing repeatedly to do so. Resolutions To Date: None. Actions Taken To Date: Customer complaints and reviews filed including BBB, Consumer Report, etc. Injury to Customer: 1. Lapse in home insurance policy. 2. Lapse in auto insurance policy. 3. Damage to Credit. 4. Difficult to obtain home insurance. 5. At Risk homeowners and driver due to lapses in policies and inability to remedy issue. 6. Inability to receive refund for purchased policy since policy can’t be found nor payment by company.

    Very unprofessional and impersonal. Took a while to get things set up to get my vehicle repaired (rear-ended). Communication was awful as I often had to reach out to them rather than the opposite. When the rental car company they use, Enterprise, refused my rental because of a 10 yr. old, 1 year long alcohol restriction on my DL, that took the cake. I informed the agent of this via email, to which I received no response. Like I said, absolutely no communication at all.

    We have had Travelers Insurance for 3 years. First year rate was reasonable. Second year auto insurance policy increased 270.00. This year the same policy increased by 545.00. Was told Travelers increased everyone's policy. They also increased our home policy by 120.00. Had minor claim because woman came through our fence, yard up to almost coming through our home. Woman got car started and left the scene. Police and Travelers did nothing to apprehend woman. I gave insurance and police license and description of car. This rate adjustment seems way out. So that means a rate increase of 945.00 including home policy. Goodbye to Travelers Insurance.

    My divorce to my ex was final Sept 30th last year. I called my agent to remove her and got a new quote for $597 for two cheap cars, sure I have an 18 year old teenager that had an accident earlier last year and so this high premium was expected. For the last 5 months I was struggling to contain my ever increasing credit card balance and I found out recently that Travelers has increased my premium from $597 to $1495! They claim they sent me a policy renewal/disclosure on Nov 27th 2017.

    I may have received it, but with everything happening, daughter going off to college and trying to figure out how to keep my head above water with the divorce settlement that left me financially destitute, I may have missed this. It shouldn't be legal for an insurance company to do this without consent from the policy owner. I would have either switched or simply let my daughter stop driving as I cannot afford this. I have already started shopping around and have two quotes from other insurers for the same coverage for about the same price I was paying before they decided to gouge me. This company doesn't care about its policyholders.

    Their client hit me and from day one this company was trouble! They lie, they refuse to offer reasonable offers to pay off my car, which was in very good condition while they offered me fair condition, and they are only out for profit with nothing else in mind whatsoever. THEN they STOLE MY CAR OFF the lot before I agreed to ANY CONDITIONS! Literally had to contact the police and start the process of filing grand theft auto for my car to be returned.

    After 2 days they returned my car yet tried to blame the collision center after lying about me giving permission to take the car. I called the corporate office, and was called a liar and after which they never would return phone calls. Josh ** and his manager named Genesis NEVER called me back until I contacted my insurance company. The customer service for this company is just appalling. Good luck getting anything done, it's pretty clear they don't care about anyone or anything other than their pockets. I'm the one at fault according to the way they handle business after THEIR CLIENT hit me. DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING ANYTHING WITH THESE GROUP OF DEGENERATE INGRATES!

    I had this company as my insurance carrier for many years without a single claim. I had several policies with them including my homeowner's. My small dog bit a waitress, (the bite didn't even break the skin). The waitress then sent me a demand for $2600 and I agreed to pay it if she signed a release. The next thing I know, I get a letter from an “ambulance chasing” attorney demanding I supply the name of my insurance company. Travelers has now been scammed by an opportunistic waitress. Such is the nature of large corporations with vulnerable bureaucracies. I canceled all of my policies with this company and urge every consumer to avoid them.

    Worst experience ever in 45+ years of buying auto insurance. In a telephone call, the "Welcome Center" agent was annoying and offensive, even to the point of implying I was lying because my current situation did not match the information he had from some suspect source. This was 4 days before my policy was to be effective. The experience was so unpleasant I called and immediately canceled. I would avoid Travelers at all costs, no matter the premium.

    I was in an accident Nov. 21, 2017. I have been fighting with this insurance company for 12 plus weeks trying to get my settlement on my vehicle. They took my vehicle 3 weeks ago, along with the title and I have yet to receive my payment for it. I have had nothing but problems with this company, and gonna have to take legal action now cause I no longer have my vehicle, nor payment and now receiving hospital bills, that they were supposed to pay, and they have not. Do not, whatsoever go with Travelers Insurance, they are a joke! As soon as my stuff is settled with them, I will be dropping them and finding an insurance company that actually takes care of their people, instead of just taking their money each month for worthless insurance!

    I was ran into by someone with their insurance. They are the slowest moving insurance company I have ever experienced. 100% their clients fault by police report. And nothing but incompetence and confusion on their side. Ended up having to have repair company and my insurance to go after them to get things going. Now having issues getting replacement car. I personal will never use this insurance company.

    Travelers Auto Insurance has been fair and honest with me. They may be a bit pricey for their products but, they are a great value if you expect good returns on your investment. I suggest purchasing directly from Travelers' main office located on the internet. You contact by phone and provide the necessary information of what you care to insure and you will get a quote and the process can begin. Many options to pay for your insurance are available. Give them a try. I have had many insurance carriers over the last 50 years and I like this group. Safe driver discounts with home and auto package discounts. They do not insure ATVs if you need this coverage. My vehicle was hit and run. I called Travelers' and within 2 days the adjuster came and settled the claim.

    I work at a dealership so I deal with Auto Insurance companies all day just about every day. I also know how busy they can be and so very understanding of this. Today was my FIRST day ever dealing with this company "Travelers/Partners Insurance." First, I'm going through this lady Margaret and she tells me two minutes before she leaves she's leaving now and get her the information to get proof of insurance. I literally sent this information as soon as she said to. She disregarded the fact I asked her for the proof - So I call and find out she left the office already... (Meanwhile our mutual customer is literally waiting patiently for 3 HOURS to get this information. I finally call back come to find out the lady can't even provide me with proof of insurance and to call the 877 number. I do just as they asked and called, the lady who answered seemed pretty understanding and to get the information.

    I asked twice, "please wait on the phone with me just so I can confirm I get the email of the insurance". She told me she can't wait. She's very busy. In the middle of asking her PLEASE wait... She hangs up on me!!! I looked twice at the phone, like... I've worked and been so frustrated and have never hung up on ANYONE especially while working. I would never refer any of my customers to this company, and I WILL be letting everyone I come in contact know just how terrible this company and the customer service is - and HOW LONG IT TOOK TO GET THE PROOF!!!

    In my experience with Travelers I have found that they are dishonest and will look for any possible excuse to save a buck on your dime even if that means flat out lying on their end. Pray that no one insured by them ever happens to hit your car. They will not cover it even if that person tells you and them that they are at fault. Do not get involved with this company! By far the worst experience that I have ever had with an insurance company. Do not waste your money. There are tons of bad reviews and stories of horrible service from them that I have read as well. Unfortunately, I didn't have a choice in having to deal with them since their insured drove into me while I was stopped but I will never use them for any future insurance needs if I have a choice in the matter!

    I had Travelers for three years and never in my life caused an accident. I had a lady hit me and Travelers never investigated it, blamed me and sent me a nonrenewal letter. Email me your experience. I'm fighting back as long as it takes.
