I called concerned over a communication issue I was having over my claim and I told Ty at the beginning of the call what I was trying to achieve and she made everything happen. She did this by listening to what I really want. Even about midway through the conversation when she made a suggestion that didn’t fulfill all of my needs, she listened to what was missing and closed the gap for me so I didn’t have to. Her service was appreciated in a time of frustration.

I called in early this morning because I purchased a new vehicle Saturday and I needed to remove my old one and add my new one. The customer service rep that I spoke with was so patient and kind. (I believe her name was Ms Brenda.) She was the true definition of an exceptional customer service rep. I wish I could speak with her every time I call. THANK YOU. :)

I called the customer call center today because my landlord was saying that I don’t have continuous renters insurance. I was very upset because this can result in fees and even termination of my lease. The representative was amazing! Not only did she offer to send me the documents proving I’ve had the insurance the whole time but she cc my landlord on the email to make sure they understood. I’m forever grateful!

Great rates and customer service. Only flaw is the process for making policy changes. We can only make changes through our agent which can sometimes take longer than we like. Other than that it's great.

I called with some questions about renewing my homeowners and auto policies. I spoke with Brenda. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I've had Grange for years and they have been very helpful making sure everything I needed was done quickly and professionally. It sucks that since I moved to a different state I have to switch to a different insurance company. But I would recommend Grange to anyone. I have been very happy with them over the years.

Today, I called Grange to update my lien holder’s information! I talked to two different departments and both of the representatives were very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable! The Service Center Representative even gave me a discount on the basis of the mileage of usage. I am giving 5/5 to both of the representatives who I talked to today as well! Thank you Grange!

I received a great service from Brenda. She was helpful, patient, personable and very knowledgeable. She was pleasant from the beginning to the end of the conversation. In addition, I got a full coverage under $80 with roadside assistance and key replacement. Can’t beat that.

Customer service is great on the phone but the insurance representative sucks!! I’m going through a tornado and they have been the worst!! My agent is the absolute worst and only one in my area to use!! I hope no one needs them for a claim on a tornado because my agent is horrible!! He is very unprofessional and rude. He doesn’t do his job and I’m not thrilled with them at all!!!!

My experience with Grange Insurance would be a 10 Star rating if it was possible. I questioned how my insurance increased so much when I had no claims or change in vehicles. I received the best possible professional care. The reason was very logical and the Agent was able to provide a lower amount which was more in line with my previous bill.

I had to call Grange customer service for a billing issue on the agency’s side. I was being told that I missed a payment after I gave my agent my banking info a month prior and I was being told that my policy was canceled and I needed to find another insurance company. Andy was extremely helpful, pleasant and he was able to fix my entire situation for me. He went above and beyond, reaching out to other resources and was able to help my husband and I under an hour. Very grateful.

I received a bill the other day which had an increase of 25% more than what I had been paying. I called customer service and got Brenda. She walked me through all of my auto documents. Turns out I had towing on that I didn't need since I have AAA. Then she saw that my "driving" score they use was much better than last year. After applying that discount, my bill was right back down to the previous year. I was very happy.

I got a rental car set up for pick right away when my car was towed from an accident. One phone call and less than 2 minutes for the arrangement. Great customer service, never wait for more than five minutes to have someone pick up every time that I call for anything.

Had a claim being processed and realized that the loss payee was out of date for 2 of my vehicles. Called up Grange and provided the correct information, it was updated immediately. Susan was very helpful and communicative. Also had a name change recently and my full name wasn't showing up. I let Susan know and she looked into and left a note in the system. I can not say enough about the people and help that I have received from Grange Insurance. My claim was closed the first part of February 2024... my car had been stolen... Right out of my driveway...then in August, I needed to renew my registration and the motor vehicle dept. wouldn't allow me to do it online as I had done in the past! Well, they wanted a receipt for the towing and storage until I got my vehicle back... Had all my paperwork but this. Contacted the claims dept., they were so helpful. They contacted my adjustor and she provided me not only with the needed paperwork but also support telling me that when I got to the motor vehicle dept. if there were any problems I could call her and she would talk to them... NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Claim closed in February and help needed in August!!!!

My experience with my operator was fantastic!! She walked me through the app setup process and made sure I could use it before she hung up with me. I was unable to locate paperwork for my homeowners policy. I called to check when & how much I owed, as well as to pay for auto coverage. The woman who assisted me was kind enough to explain what steps were needed to be credited a Discount for Each policy when paying for a six month or twelve month all inclusive. I paid my auto policy IN FULL in December 2023. Over $2000. POLICY NUMBER **. I cancelled my policy on May 13, 2024 and switched to another carrier. It has been 2 months and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND OF $1225 from Grange!! They have been contacted TWICE by my local insurance agent and have done nothing but send out useless letters telling me I "cancelled my policy"...NO JOKE!! WHERE IS MY REFUND GRANGE???? You are quick to take my money and slow to give it back! And NOBODY ANSWERS THE FRICKING PHONE AT YOUR COMPANY. TOTALLY USELESS "CUSTOMER SERVICE":..I should be receiving INTEREST FOR MY MONEY YOU CONTINUE TO HOLD!

I called customer service to have my policy adjusted and to verify that I had the best coverage in case I was missing anything. Unfortunately, the call was disconnected during our conversation. The representative quickly called me back, verified my identity, and continued giving me excellent service. I was able to adjust my policy and verify that my coverage and prices were correct. Loretta was knowledgeable, didn't rush me, and we talked like old friends. On the 11th I had to change the coverage on a vehicle for just one day. Michael fully explained the coverage that was currently on the vehicle and my options. He made the changes for me and "called me" the next day to change it to the lesser. When I missed his call he sent everything through email. I am very satisfied.

Customer service is terrible. Not only is it hard to reach them, when you do they rush you off the phone, and don’t listen to what’s be ask. I had to call them 4 times then they closed! I never settled my issues, called the next day early morning 40 plus minutes later they final removed my vehicle. SMH

Canceled my insurance April 25. The money owed I haven't received yet and it's June 3rd. Wouldn't work with them ever again. Insurance jumped from 900 to 1556 in a year on a house with a fire hydrant right in front and the fire department around the corner. Never will I work with them again.

Would rate a 0 star rating if possible due to the trouble and way these employees treat customers and others around them. Do not ever use this company as they have been the biggest headache and I have heard from many others nothing but bad remarks for what they do behind the scenes and how they treat everyone in their line of work. Kelly ** and her manager Mike ** did nothing but lie and cause delays on delays with the entire process and belittle anyone working with them or anyone they would represent or talk to during a process that wasn’t to their 100% convenience and even then they would have attitude and make your life difficult out of being petty and unjust to the system and laws we hold true to protect us.

Extremely unprofessional and rude claim representative. Car was broken into 2 weeks ago, and dealing with Grange has been a nightmare. I have had no window or door handle for 2 weeks. Car is waiting to be stolen at this point. No communication on their side and I was lectured by their representative on when and how I should ask my questions.

I have been with Grange for over 3 years and paid, $20,000+ since I have been with Grange which includes home & auto with a youthful driver. We have had no auto or home claims, only 4 roadside claims which they are non-renewing for roadside only, make no sense. They are lucky if they paid out $500 for these claims. I am an insurance agent and I am filing a complaint with the Department of Insurance and will submit bad reviews on every internet site I am able to find about my experience with Grange. In my 25 years working in insurance, I have never had a company non-renew for roadside claims, why offer this coverage. I will not recommend this company.

If you are in an accident and file a claim, this company will not pay the repair costs for your car to be returned to its pre-accident condition. They will offer you a very low settlement of no more than 50% of your repair costs. Richard **, the insurance adjuster, and David **, the damage appraiser, are both unprofessional and unethical. Choose an insurance company that truly cares about its customers because Grange doesn't. Dealing with this company along with ** and ** has been a nightmare.

I was in a four vehicle wreck on the 8th of November. The first three vehicles were stopped at a stop light when a 4th vehicle collided and caused a chain reaction collision. The person causing the accident was insured by Grange insurance. My truck was second from the front. It had to be towed away from the site of the accident and is not in a driveable condition. It was 2 weeks after the accident and a lot of calling before we could get a claim number. We called Grange Insurance and could only get an answering machine. We would leave a message, but never received a call back. I finally called and was able to talk to someone on 11/22/23. He recorded my statement of the accident and encouraged me to go with my own insurance. I told him I had heard of that before but there is no guarantee of getting my deductible back. He responded like that is not likely.
The person helping me said he needed to contact other people in the company and would get back to me. He called me back letting me know that my truck would probably be totalled, but they are so busy they can't get to it right now. He also let me know it is my responsibility to get my truck from where it had been towed so that it did not cost Grange insurance company more money. They sent me an email on 11/22/23 stating that I had 5 days to get a truck that doesn't run out of the lot it was towed to. I still have not received any more information from Grange insurance. I need a truck to haul hay to feed animals as well as get to work. Apparently my problem is not their problem.

I learned an awesome fact a couple months ago about Grange. If you pay your renter's insurance monthly premium before it's expected to be invoiced/mailed, you save the processing fee for said payment, even if you had it set up for EFT! For me, that's $6 a month - $72 per year!! So rather than allowing it to be paid by EFT, I call every month to pay it directly. I deal with a different representative each time, but everyone I talk to is incredibly helpful and very personable. I have some drawbacks about this company, to be honest, but this particular feature is a wallet saver and I have never had a bad experience with their people.

I had to call in to report a claim from an accident I was involved in. Lisa who I spoke to was very nice and understanding and helpful. I had exchanged info with the other party involved and just took what she wrote down at the exchange. There was a phone number but it was written beside her insurance company so I wasn't sure whose phone number it was and Lisa said, "No problem. I'm going to put a note in here that it's either the other party's number or her insurance company's number so whoever it is will be fine."
I came back to Grange after being involved in an accident which totalled my vehicle but the party at fault had no license, no insurance and had failed to register the vehicle she was driving and I happened to be the last of 3 people that the policeman spoke with after the accident and got a report showing blatant lies according to what was said when he first arrived from other passengers, even though I was rear-ended and shoved into another car which was spinning in circles on the wet corner the report was written as if I just hit the front car and that the driver of the car behind me (who left the scene as was discovered when the officer arrives) was the passenger of the vehicle that hit me but it never got mentioned that she hit me on the report.
So I had to call back on my uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage and THAT lizard insurance company drag the claim out for MONTHS and tried to give me $500 for my vehicle at which time I flipped a lid and called Ohio Dept. of Insurance to be told that the reason they were so lax about trying to settle fairly is because they can NOT raise your rates to recoup any losses filed under that part of the policy. Ended up after 3 rounds of investigation from the Oh. Dept. Ins. I got a fair settlement and will never go back to there again. I have had several claims through Grange over the years and always was settled quickly and when cars were totalled I usually got more than what I expected for the vehicle and usually within 2-3 days. Like they say "you get what you pay for"!!

I was involved in a hit and run accident in June. Lucky, I took a video and the police tracked down the vehicle which was insured by Grange. Grange initially seemed concern with the situation and assured they would investigate the matter. During the time of the investigation little contact was made by Grange representatives, as my insurance and I constantly attempted to make contact. Grange sent me a letter this October stating that they would have to deny the claim because they could not contact the driver who was not on the policy of the insured vehicle. This accident has cost me a lot of pain, suffering, and frustration in my life, and I wish they would have honesty and integrity as they deal with people's lives and not practice bad faith insurance laws. I will be contacting legal representation.

Grange Insurance has a super complicated phone menu... difficult to reach right person. GRRRRRR....no menu option to add a car. I did not want to "file a claim", nor was it a "billing issue". I should not have to understand an Insurance company's whole business structure to reach an agent. When I finally reached a customer service person, the service agent spoke English and solved my problem now. As a hard-of-hearing person, I often can not understand people who do not speak English as their first language. They were knowledgeable and polite. They gave great advice, even when it meant less money in their pocket. As an example, Road Assistance coverage was not needed on my new car, as it was covered by manufacturer. It was obvious that their customer service was here in America, not in some foreign nation, as I prefer.

I called Grange Insurance inquiring about a new roof discount. I spoke with Ashley who was very friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and then some. I am a first time homeowner and am still learning the ins and outs of owning a home. Ashley was able to guide me through making sure I had all the discounts available but most importantly she made sure my house value and coverage was sufficient with today's market. She made any changes needed, informed me more about escrow and even went as far as to check my auto policy to ensure I was getting all available discounts. Ashely was extremely refreshing in her customer service approach. Her knowledge was exceptional and her assistance was outstanding. In today's world, highly uncommon unfortunately.
I was hesitant to call initially but upon ending the call I was more than satisfied with the help received and actually quite comfortable with the results of the call and happy I made it. This is the most recent and best experience with Grange Insurance. That being said, every time I've contacted them, even when they replaced my roof, it has been a hassle free and surprisingly pleasant experience. My carpet was damaged by a renter, and Grange paid 80% of total cost to replace. Secondly, they only paid 50% refund today. The remaining amount will only be paid after I purchase the new carpet. This is unacceptable. Why?
2. I get a year to submit a new carpet purchase receipt. However, my year started when the damage occurred not when I submitted the claim 6 months later. Why the late submission, legal issues were being addressed between the renter and me that impacted the claim submission process.
3. I am undergoing significant home remodeling. Common sense and professional designers plan carpet to be installed last after construction. My remodelling will be 1-2 years for completion. Trying to find contractors in this day and age, will take months. I only get 6 months before they cancel the remaining 50% refund.
Is that fair? I suggested they start a subrogation process; in which, I could get my renter's insurance company to pay the damage cost, but they will not give me the balance of the refund even if I participate in the subrogation process. It's a shame policy takes priority over a Win-Win scenario for both Grange and me, the customer. They have lost a customer for life! Caveat emptor.

After nearly 60 years of driving, we had 2 minor accidents over the past 2 years. The first, with another insurance company was handled very poorly and offered no assistance at all. They were rude, condescending and completely unhelpful. Very poor for our first experience at dealing with a claim. We terminated that 10+ year relationship immediately and came to Grange.
A Canadian goose attacked my wife's SUV while it was moving about 40 mph on the road. Did damage to the front grille and bumper. Goose was a suicide. I went to Grange's website to report the incident on Saturday, 4/16/22. Got a call from a Grange Claims Representative (Julie **) on Monday morning. She provided me with email, text and phone contact information and I emailed her photos of the damage (which was only cosmetic). She forwarded the photos to her estimators and a preliminary estimate was issued immediately with a check following on 4/22/22.
Went to the Repair facility 4/27/22 and they concurred with the estimate and are in the process of ordering parts to complete the repair. Both Grange and Ms. ** made this a very painless procedure for me. Nobody at Grange made me feel like they were too busy to communicate with me anytime I needed questions answered. I consider this service above and beyond the call of duty. I hope to be a long-term Grange policyholder based on the service I have received so far.

After retirement I had all my bills automatically debited when due, well almost everything. My older brother and I were on a cross country road trip recently (one of many we have done since retirement) when my policies came due and subsequently lapsed. We had a fire at our house that ultimately damaged 2 of our vehicles. We do carry full coverage on all of our vehicles even though a couple of them are a little older. In this instance I have had to work with home owners ins as well as someone else's insurance company to get all of the damage resolved, but Grange (Brad) jumped right in to gear from day one. He has worked hard to get our vehicles fixed right and as efficiently as possible. They made it super simple to get a rental. It has definitely been the only bright spot in this situation. I have been with Grange for several years and had a claim or 2 in the past and have always had a good experience. I would definitely recommend Grange to anyone for car insurance needs.

Hit a deer and filed the claim within 4 hours. Within the following 6 hours the adjuster contacted me and advised that the repair shop estimate was reviewed and met their requirement and payment for repairs was being submitted. The experience was very pleasant and the adjuster was extremely professional.

I spoke with Tracy today in technical support because I couldn't get into my account on Grange because there was a email glitch and password glitch. It was showing one email which was no longer valid and wouldn't let me in under the new email and password. Tracy took the time to look into it. Helped with getting it changed to the correct email and stayed online while everything was taken effect. She was kind, knowledgeable, spoke with respect and dignity even though I was getting a bit fast in my speech because I just couldn't understand what was going on and why it was happening but because she was calm and just took it one step at a time we were able to get through it within just a few minutes. I think Tracy and I think Grange insurance for their wonderful technical support.

This review is to discuss the complexity of filing an auto claim and getting payment for the repair. I have been with Grange Insurance for over 40 years and luckily have not had many claims. I guess due to my age some things are getting more complicated. I filed the claim and got a nice person to work with me. Then they allowed the claim and this is where it got complicated. I got a text someone was working the claim and I would get an email from "donotreplyxxxxx". Never saw it in the inbox or junk email. One would think it would come from a company name. Then I contacted the adjuster several times on the claim and email, no response, then got an email he was out of the office for the next week. Ok now to go to the 800 number. Why do three different companies have to get involved on a simple < $2000 claim. Way too complicated and expensive for Grange. A real PITA.

I was in my first accident and had gotten a phone call from the representative within 3 hours of filing my claim. She was responsive, understanding, and helpful. She helped set up everything with the tow company, collision repair, and rental. Any additional questions got a prompt response. My entire experience was less stressful than I was expecting and I got great coverage.

Grange is not reputable and should not be trusted to pay out what you are due. They partner with sub-standard repair & towing facilities, make you do all the leg work that an adjuster should do, cut every corner possible financially and do not fully pay for the necessary repairs to fix your vehicle. Not worth the hassle.

Bob ** is awesome. Very quick to respond to a claim submitted online, very knowledgeable and informative, very quick to respond to the repair estimate. He made a stressful situation MUCH less stressful by his actions and demeanor. My experience with Bob and Grange Auto Insurance was the opposite of the stereotypical experience with an insurance company. Kudos to Grange Auto Insurance for retaining a talented agent.

I called Grange Insurance Company last week to remove a total loss and add a new vehicle to my policy. I connected with Bright and was immediately met with a friendly voice and attitude. Bright was able to quickly and efficiently complete what I needed done even through a few technical difficulties. He made conversation with me and asked questions about me to build rapport, which I loved because I have a difficult time making phone calls due to generalized anxiety disorder. He made me feel comfortable throughout the process; it was also my first time having to do something like this by myself! He made it incredibly easy.
Bright also made me aware that once my new car was added, there was a rebate on my account and that he would be able to mail me a check! After experiencing the wreck which caused the total loss of my original car, I have had to make a lot of phone calls and talk to a lot of customer services representatives while trying to get everything sorted out -- Bright was definitely one of the most pleasant people I had the experience of chatting with! He is a huge asset to the Grange Insurance team.

I am totally impressed with the handling of my claim. Cory ** has been pleasant, understanding, efficient, and expeditious. The damage happened on Monday and I have an appointment for repairs on the following Monday. This is unexpected but much appreciated. He even arranged for the rental car place to bring a car to me when I drop my car off. THIS IS TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE. GREAT JOB!!!!

We had wind damage to our 25 year old roof. Other than the inspector being late, who was not employed with Grange, the process was smooth and without incident. The Grange claims property agent who assisted us throughout the process was very helpful and quick with the processing. I have no complaints about Grange.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Grange. Prior to purchasing a vehicle, I called in to get quotes for the new rates. When the new car was purchased, Anna stayed on the phone with me for 20 minutes as we went through various scenarios to find something that worked for me. She clear and concise.
