    I recently had an auto insurance claim and found the claims experience with the adjuster Julie ** to be professional, fair and efficient. She carefully listened to the details related to how the damage happened, was patient as I explained the circumstances, and coordinated the estimate for repair with the collision center seamlessly.

    Filing claims these days can be stressful with adjusters who make clients feel like they are the bad guy. And I get that they deal with a tremendous amount of fraudulent claims that cost us all a tremendous amount of money. But this adjuster seemed to carry out her responsibility as an adjuster understanding that, while she had to get at the facts and represent the corporate interests, she also worked to properly indemnify me as a long term client for my loss and make me whole. After all, that is the purpose of insurance. While this was a relatively small claim, the way I was treated as a customer, having experienced a loss, gives me hope that the concept of quality customer service is not completely lost. Thank you Julie ** for your excellent service in processing my claim.

    I called today to make a change in our auto insurance due to new car purchases. The lady I talked to (sorry I forgot her name) was very helpful and was able to answer all of my questions and followed that up with a confirmation of our conversation through email.     Yesterday I called to talk to an agent to get information regarding my homeowners insurance. It's only the second time I have ever called them. The first time the lady was very rude. This time I told the lady that answered that I was unable to find my policy and couldn't provide her with my policy number but gave her all of the other information she asked for. She put me on hold and never came back. After waiting long time and speaking into the phone asking if anybody was there with no answer I finally hung up. Called back hoping to get connected with someone who would help me and they were closed!! Seriously? As a result they are no longer my insurance carrier for either homeowners or auto.

    It's super easy to get a real person on the phone and they're accurate and efficient with communication and changes. They have discounts for a ton of things so make sure you ask about them! The only complaint I would have is that the insurance card isn't laminated, it's just paper.

    I needed some past information on my account. Jack ** was very kind and patient with me unlike the others at this company! They treated me like trash. Always looking at me like they wanted to find me guilty of insurance fraud. I just lost my husband I was not lying someone stole some things from my house so I did not know any better and placed claims.

    We were very pleased with the excellent assistance that we received from all of the representatives of the Grange Insurance company after a car accident. From the initial phone call, until the final claim was resolved, we were treated with compassion, respect and kindness by everyone. Each representative was knowledgeable, professional and strived to help us in every way possible. They patiently answered our questions; and, told us that we could contact them anytime. They updated us with every step throughout the process. They assured us that everything would be fine. We always felt comfortable and secure in their care.     Patient, kind and handle my request!!!! I called my agent and asked him if I could give up a certain amount of money to take my payment down and he told me that that cannot be done and so I’ll call Customer Service and the lady told me that it definitely could be done just to explain to the person that’s handling in a call to spread the money out evenly over have a mini payments I have left and I really appreciate that because I wanted my payments to come down!!!!

Taking a bit of patience to go through all of the messaging and prompts resulted in an excellent experience overall.     I spoke to Mary today at customer service and she was so kind, caring and helpful.     Poor Service Received from Madison **. Took almost a week to get in touch with her, and this was already almost 2 weeks after the accident. She does not return emails, phone calls, or texts. Best time to actually reach her was between 12:30-1:00pm. Her tone was condescending and she failed to satisfy. Her boss was not much better. A real company-man, who follows policy to the strictest letter of the law, providing only bare-legal-minimum to consumers involved in the accident. These two should be ashamed, and if they are any representation of the company, 1 star is too high of a rating. NEVER want to deal with them again.

    I had heard great things about Grange and I'm shopping for insurance. I found an independent agent in my neighborhood and SPECIFICALLY asked about Grange. She told me that she would also compare with other companies if I approved. I did. About an hour later I received quotes for three different companies, but Grange wasn't one of them. When I called you inquire why, she told me that since I refused to divulge my Social Security number, that she couldn't quote for them, "they require it." I have a 47 year stellar, absolutely perfect driving record. No tickets, no accidents. I own my home and I have an 830 FICO score. I wanted both automobile and home owners insurance coverage. Grange messed this one up.

    With every other news story regarding data breaches and identity theft, they want me to give my SS# to a complete stranger, over the telephone, who could potentially do serious damage by having my DOB, VIN, address and DL#. And THEN, I tried unsuccessfully to contact ANYONE at Grange, to register my complaint about their risky business practice. You cannot contact anyone. Just a telephone tree with endless "go to our website for..." loops. The agent will respond with "that's their rule." SERIOUSLY Grange, you've lost your marbles. Do better Grange. I'll take my business elsewhere. You lose.

    Andy solved all my problems in about 5 minutes - just by showing me that there is an autopay option (EFT) for my homeowner's policy - and it is totally easy to set up! I have been using Paymentus for no reason for two years! Also, Andy was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive to fulfilling my requests. I used to find Grange customer service a little on the rude/ineffective side, but Andy changed my mind. I hope all of the representatives are like him if I ever have to call in the future!

    I had the privilege of working with Brenda at the Grange Insurance Service Center today. It was the best experience of gaining knowledge, information, explanations... I have ever experienced. It is time for renewal of our home and auto insurances and I wanted to go over the policies to make sure we had sufficient coverage. She asked many questions which gave us several more discounts, ask specific questions to have the most up-to-date info to make decisions and went over each item we currently have and then each item we didn't have. She went over all the current amounts of coverage, what they covered, gave full explanations, went over Deductible Waiver and Car Key or Electric Entry, Alium Parts, every possibility.

    Once I made decisions, she calculated the cost of each item and I increased amounts of coverage and added a couple new items. Then she calculated the cost and let me make a final decision. All the changes for much better and safer coverage was under $25 a half year for 2 automobiles. I feel so much better. On the house insurance, she again reviewed what we had, explained what each item covered, ask questions to make sure we had the right amount of coverage, went over the Home Boost coverage, unique to Grange Insurance, mentioned to take photos of everything in the house and on the property in case of a loss, then to put them somewhere safe or in the cloud.

    She could not have been any more kind, informative, patient and helpful than what she was. I feel like God was watching over me when she answered my call. We have had Grange Insurance since 2010 and could not be more pleased. Had a few claims over the years and they were settled immediately. Thanks so much for the superb Customer Service.

    We had a hail storm one afternoon so I was worried about damage to my roof and I called my Grange agent the next day and he entered a claim for me. I was then contacted by Jonathan **, a field property claim representative who setup a time that week to come out and look at my roof. He arrived on time and was very courteous and had very good customer service skills. He went up on the roof and checked things out and came down and put the quote together and then came in and reviewed it and explained the process to me. He was very thorough and made sure that I understood.

    I received the initial payment through direct deposit and then contacted roofing companies and decided on one to complete the job. They did a great job and after completion of my new roof, I emailed Jonathan Combs and he responded in a timely manner and gave me instructions for what I needed to do to receive the rest of the payment. Jonathan did a fantastic job in his role and I really appreciated it. I feel very lucky to of had him as my field rep.

    I had someone hit my truck while I was on vacation, glancing blow either pulling into or backing into a parking spot is my assumption. I called my insurance company and she suggested I file a claim when we return. I'm an old school guy and got a couple quotes before filing the claim. I didn't need to do that with Grange. Scott ** called me within an hour of filing the claim. He recommended one more local body shop that they have a business relationship with. I ended up taking it to Gerber's and they did a great job! Scott handled everything including the rental car. It has been a very long time since I've had to file a claim, this by far was a great experience!     I was involved in an accident and the at-fault driver had AllState. I have tried for 5 days and absolutely no help. I called my insurance Grange and they were amazing. Paula was so kind and helpful. She did more for me in 30 mins than AllState in 5 days. She had a shop for me to take my car and called them to arrange pick up.     I had to file a collision repair for minor damage and the lady who helped me was kind and efficient. I was on the phone with her for 15 minutes tops and she already set up an estimate with a body shop they recommend this week! My adjuster Scott, called me within an hour to gather some more information but the call only lasted 15 minutes, granted I just hit a little wall on my driveway with no one involved but myself so that could have been the reason for my short calls. Everyone was very nice, seemed very happy and personable which made a usual stressful experience, enjoyable. Great deductible so I’m not even paying that much out of pocket, amazing!

    I was in a car accident last June, 2024, rear-ended by a woman who claimed at the accident site she had no insurance. Long story short, I had to file a claim with my insurance which is Grange, received my medical treatment asap and my medical claim person was Tracy, who made sure I was taken care of immediately due to me having a long trip planned and was preparing to leave for several months.

    Devin ** was my contact for the claim side of my vehicle repair. Devin was amazing on response time and processing of information. I was gone for 5 months on my trip, returned to find out Devin was out on medical leave. Had a fill-in person for a month, but when Devin returned to the office, she has been professional, caring, and totally amazing when it came to processing and finding out information on my behalf in order to finalize my drawn-out claim.     I have had a few occasions to work with Grange customer service, and each time the service has been excellent! So nice to talk to a live person without having to fight your way through an automated system first. Each time my questions were answered quickly and thoroughly - I am not well versed on the ins and outs of insurance, but they were able to explain things clearly to me each time. Like most people, I tend to only review if something is really good or really bad, but my experience with Grange was good enough to write a review.

    I spoke with Jack. He is very nice, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. He was also willing to divert me to somebody else to get a specific answer that I would’ve gotten when the adjuster called. He took the time to explain everything and didn’t make me feel rushed. Their caring and quality employees are what makes Grange easy to work with.

    We hit a deer in Sept 2024 in WV while traveling from IN to NC. We called Grange and they said to take to a local body shop. We found one with good reviews and left the car to be fixed. After a few months the body shop was ghosting us and Grange and when they did communicate I felt like something was off. I felt like they were committing fraud and as the claims examiner what we should do. She just ignored me. Grange paid over $7000 and we paid $1200 to have the car fixed and finally go it back 5.5 months later. The day after we got it back, I had to open the hood and the hood cable was severed. We took it to a local body shop who, after a week, brought us in and showed us all of the missing pieces, shoddy workmanship, and the things that weren't fixed properly.

    They stated that the former body shop had clearly committed fraud and the estimate to fix it correctly is over $13,000, which is more than the car is worth. I reached out to Grange and they said. that we didn't take it to one of their preferred body shops, which they failed to mention during the initial call. Also, when I did check there are 0 preferred body shops in the entire state of WV. So now Grange refuses to help saying that we picked the body shop. There attitude is "Oh well" even though the body shop clearly committed fraud against Grange and us. They are just fine to leave us with a worthless car and a $13,000 repair bill. Also it is impossible to actually speak to anyone on the phone.

    I had an issue with my home policy where my mortgage company paid for my policy, and I ended up paying it too, resulting in a double billing situation. When I first contacted Grange Insurance back in January, I had the pleasure of speaking with Jodi. She was an absolute delight to talk to – so patient and thorough in explaining the process. She made what could have been a stressful situation much easier to handle.

    Recently, I needed to call back to process a refund, and I was fortunate enough to speak with Jodi again. She was just as kind, helpful, and efficient as the first time we spoke. It's rare to encounter someone who genuinely takes the time to connect with you over the phone instead of sounding like a scripted, monotone voice.     I was helped through a claim by Teresa. It was a very unfortunate accident where I was by law at fault and while I was incredibly frustrated with myself and the situation and all around very brought down by the mess than can be an auto accident. Teresa did ALL of the heavy lifting, answered every question, took care of EVERYTHING within a 5 minute phone call and removed a giant weight from my shoulders.     I talked to Andy today. He was able to resolve all my problems with with efficiency and care and compassion. Something that's a rarity today.     I had an outstanding experience with Grange Insurance, specifically with my case lead, Jalen. He went above and beyond to help me with a water damage claim in my kitchen. Not only was the resolution incredibly fast, but Jalen even came to my house on a Sunday to assess the damage!     I called today 2/13/25 to pay my six month premium in full. I spoke with Kim. What a pleasant lady she was. She first asked how I was and seemed quite sincere in asking. We spent a minute or two with pleasantries. It was so nice not to be rushed. She then asked for all the information she needed to take care of my payment. Repeating all that was necessary. I really hate talking on the phone and many times will put off taking care of business till the last minute. But with a rep. like Kim and others at Grange it is not painful at all.

    Kalie with Grange was so excellent and helpful with my claim. I damaged passenger side of my Tesla Model 3 when someone ran into my lane and I swerved and hit the guard rail. There isn’t a Tesla shop or dealership in my area so she stayed on the phone with me for nearly half hour calling around to regional shops to find one that could repair my car. So kind and courteous! With courteous professionalism, he walked me through the entire process and was in contact with all parties concerned. That same day, after submitting to Corey the contact information from my preliminary estimate of my local auto repair center of choice, he was in contact with them plus coordinated with Enterprise for a needed alternate vehicle.     I needed to file a claim on my homeowner's insurance after a car crashed into my yard very early on New Years Day, causing a huge amount of damage. I contacted the Customer Care Center on January 2nd and spoke with Joan. She was so helpful, explaining the process and what would happen next. Today was no exception -- Kim took excellent care of me and was very kind and gracious in the process. She followed up exactly as she said she would and less than an hour after I called Grange to report my accident I have a rental car reserved and an appointment to pick it up.

    I called in to make a change on my auto policy and Mary was phenomenal! She went over all the ins and outs and helped me make 2 changes to my policy.     I’ve had pretty good experiences working with Grange, all the representatives are extremely friendly and helpful. The only issue I’ve run into is that they don’t cover mold damage even when the fault is from your neighbor’s negligence (it sounds like a lot of insurance companies are like this though). Other than this issue they’ve been great to work with.

    I called concerned over a communication issue I was having over my claim and I told Ty at the beginning of the call what I was trying to achieve and she made everything happen. She did this by listening to what I really want. Even about midway through the conversation when she made a suggestion that didn’t fulfill all of my needs, she listened to what was missing and closed the gap for me so I didn’t have to. Her service was appreciated in a time of frustration.

    I called the customer call center today because my landlord was saying that I don’t have continuous renters insurance. I was very upset because this can result in fees and even termination of my lease. The representative was amazing! Not only did she offer to send me the documents proving I’ve had the insurance the whole time but she cc my landlord on the email to make sure they understood. I’m forever grateful!
