I really didn't know what to expect before applying because this was my first time applying for life insurance online. My experience with Ethos went very smoothly, surprisingly. Each step just guides you right through the process.

The online application process was flawless & easy. I was able to get my quote & purchase the policy the same day. Only downside I found was comparing prices to competitors. I found similar policies with $100,000 additional coverage for $9 less a month, which is significant when we're talking $9 additional dollars every month for 20-30 years.

The rep was great, and the signup was really speedy and straight to the point. The only thing I wish Ethos had in addition to what they provide was disability, in case somebody gets injured while going to work, and they cannot work. That can help out with that as well.

I have been shopping around for a term life insurance policy for a few weeks when I came across Ethos. Within minutes of exploring their rates and terms, I knew they competed with some of the top companies. I proceeded to complete their automated online application which was very user-friendly. After investing about 10 minutes of my time I had completed the application and received a quote. Almost instantaneously I received a warm and friendly phone call from Rikki. Ethos offered the best rate and it was easy signing up with them. But I didn't think it would take as long for underwriting because that took a few days and that made me nervous. I went through Bestow before, but I couldn't resign up through them, and the whole process was done in one sitting with Bestow. Everything was fine with Ethos after that though.

Ethos made buying insurance what it should be, easy! There wasn't a million phone calls, or endless emails. It was just a straightforward process. Best of all, not only was the process efficient, but they even came back with a cheaper price than had been quoted. In the end, I saved money and my family is protected. Ethos met the criteria for what we were looking for. Signing up was easy but I haven't gotten a lot of feedback from them since then. One thing that we would like is a copy of the policy that we can put in our file folder in case something were to happen to one of us or both of us. That way, it would be easily retrievable. If something happened to both of us, some people may not even know where that exists.

Ethos was the least hassle company to work with. The process of getting a quote was substantially easier (a lot less paperwork involved). It kind of holds your hand and doesn't confuse you. The questions are structured in such a way that they’re understandable and easy to work through. They didn't take me too long. It was only about 10 minutes. I looked at a couple other alternatives, and they seem to make it a lot harder to put in an application. So, I appreciated that Ethos made it simple for me. They made it easy to obtain coverage. I feel like understanding the articles that they provided gave me a good sense of what I was applying for and didn't overwhelm me with terminology that I wasn't familiar with. I did not realize this was an AAA company and a graded policy until I received it in the mail. I believed that I was receiving immediate coverage. Changing the name of the company during the application/review process is confusing and disturbing.

I have a guy who was working for us. He found Ethos for us and did all the work. I got called, went over a few things, made the payment and I'm covered. I like that Ethos wasn't making me take blood and urine samples. We were going through a lot of companies, and everybody was insisting, due to COVID, that some stranger come out to our house and poke us with a needle. We're not against doing stuff like that but we had just been to the doctor and had our annual checkup. I didn't feel like a stranger should be coming to my house and I have no knowledge of what kind of medical experience they have poking me. Ethos came through and said, “We don't recommend that,” and that's exactly why we went through them.
