I'm a licensed insurance agent, and I contracted with Ethos, and it was the easiest way for me to secure some additional coverage since I was underinsured. I had about a million and a half in coverage, but based on my income, mortgage, and other income needs for my wife, if I were to pass away, I felt I needed another million dollars.

My experience with Ethos has been great. It was really easy setting it up, and I got it done relatively fast. I'm about to have my third child so I decided to get a life insurance. I had a policy before, but unfortunately, I went through some pretty gnarly life circumstances at the time. That policy lapsed because I totally had forgotten about it and forgotten to pay it. I wanted to get back on track and hopefully use a better company, and I’m happy with Ethos so far.

I'm an independent contractor, and I had life insurance when I worked for the corporation. Now that I'm independent, I don't have it through the corporation, so I went to get it on my own. After hearing Ethos' advertisements on the radio and Facebook, I started the process and it was easy. At first, the app was really easy to navigate and seemed fine. But my rate was a little bit high compared to what they were advertising. It seemed like it'd be a lot lower. Otherwise, the process was straightforward.

As a person that needs to watch out for her family, this was a very simple process for me. Nothing is more important than looking out for your family and their future. I know if anything happens to me, my loved ones will not have to worry about their future like I had to all my life, this will make things a little easier on them. I want them to have the freedom to enjoy life a little to take that family vacation to buy a house one day. To put some away for their family's future.
