It took me very little time to fill everything out, and after some basic medical history, I got an affordable rate. Knowing that they'll help with a will, as well, also has me much more at ease for my family's sake should something happen to me!

The sign-up process only took a few minutes. I feel so much better knowing things will be taken care of when I am gone. I didn't want to think about it, but my best friend continually urged me. It was a cinch and user-friendly. I urge those who are thinking of coverage to do it now.

$200.00 per month. I dealt with anxiety and depression my entire life and never attempted suicide and don’t think about it. I mountain bike at least 7 miles per week and nail my physical exam every year. I was honest. They don’t insure people with depression.

I did not know how important life insurance was until my little brother passed away and had nothing in place for his children. Of course these situations are unplanned but they still happen. Bailey was very helpful. She had no issues explaining the plan and navigating my plan. She was very informative and I barely had to ask any questions because she covered all the bases.

As a former life insurance user I would strongly recommend that people use another avenue to save their money. My wife and I had a life insurance policy for 20 years at a premium of 48 dollar each. After twenty years, our premiums increased to 300 dollars each, per month. Basically we wasted 96 dollars a month that we could have used for a more viable reliable savings plan. Don’t be fooled America! Do your homework. Life insurance is a scam!

I became increasingly concerned with my family's well-being if something were to happen. Shopping for a convenient life insurance policy seemed very daunting at first. With Ethos, I was in awe of how smooth the process was. I was able to get a quote in less than 30 minutes. The price was the most affordable across all companies I used. Very easy process online, but I had some additional questions about total term coverage. I contacted the company and they provided me with great recommendations that just made common sense, and with no real agenda. They even suggested that if I needed more coverage than I was approved for, signup for the plan now and use a more traditional approach to life insurance that involves a medical exam, blood work, etc. After that, cancel the Ethos plan.

Excellent customer service. I enjoyed working with Sozha. Who you have represent your company makes a big impression and she was articulate, patient and knowledgeable. I set up an account with Ethos and everything was good. I liked it. It was simple and fast. At one time, I had a broker that was helping me set up my life insurance and Ethos gave a good quote, better than any other. So, I stood with them. I had a little setback, and I ended up canceling the account, but now, I'm back doing everything all over again with them.

The Ethos Life Insurance experience contained easy to read language. The questionnaire was very sketchy and its quick hospital search tool made identifying your physician very easy. I needed insurance for my family and got some from Ethos. My experience has been okay. I hadn't had a reason to use it but as far as the preliminary and the customer service, it was fine. One of their representatives gave me all the information. The only thing that took me aback was when he mentioned that I already have other insurance with someone else and then he asked me how much it is. I didn't think that was called for. How much insurance I have, as long as he's not paying for it, shouldn't bother anybody else.

A relative of mine had just passed not too long ago, and I've seen how distraught the family was. There was no proper planning. I have seven kids, so I don't want to leave them high and dry if anything was to happen to me. I was doing my research and I looked at a couple of different policies. Ethos was the best that I had came across. I have wanted to have it done before my 34th birthday, which was last week. I went with them.
The sign-up process was straightforward and self-explanatory. The rep that I dealt with was straightforward. He answered my questions. Out of the other policies that I had seen who didn't offer that I could borrow from my policy, the Ethos representative was sure that they offer that. That was one of the green lights for me to go through with it. The amount that I was getting for the policy, couldn't beat it, especially for the price. So, it was a no-brainer.

I tried applying for life insurance and the application process wouldn’t go past the phone number verification because the phone account is in my wife’s name. The verification process could not find another way to verify me although I used my email account during the application process.

We attempted to have wills done for my spouse and I. The cost for the two wills was to be $249, and they claim to have a 30-day trial before charging the client. We were able to complete the first will online, but there was no link to begin the second spouse's will. We called and emailed, but were given no option other than to start a new will upon entering payment information again. After several attempts at communicating with Ethos, we gave up and asked to cancel our trial. At this point we realized that they had charged our credit card $249 on the FIRST DAY. Our attempts to get a refund have been rebuffed by Ethos, saying that they have no record of charging our account. (Despite providing screenshots of their $249 charge several times.) We have reported this situation to the Better Business Bureau and to our credit card company. Absolutely would steer clear of this company.

The system was glitchy and populated data that wasn’t mine. I wasn’t able to receive the documents and was charged anyway. When I emailed and called both times they referred me to the general website.

I was trying to get a online will and trust for Ethos, they charged me 150 $ for 30 day trial, then suddenly charged me for 300$. All this for nothing done, I did not even obtain any documents, I wanted to cancel to proceed with anything with them. It seemed very weird as I felt they will be the ones to own everything I own if I proceed with what they are telling me to do. I did not want to go along, and requested refund as I was not getting any product from them. They insisted on selling life insurance which I already have from my workplace. They denied my refund, I paid 300 $ for no product being given to me.

I started to fill out and application with Ethos but, once I realized that they do not actually offer any products, I stopped and left their site without completing the application or giving them any permission to do anything with the information that I had entered. Ethos then proceeded to submit my information to dozens of companies throughout the country (illegally) and I have been bombarded by phone calls, text messages and emails from people acting like they just need a little more information to complete my application.
Upon informing Ethos of the illegal action that they had taken, they literally tried to tell me that I had to go to their website and complete my profile so they could access my info and then process my request to delete my info. This is them desperately trying to get me to provide the permission that I never did so they could cover their butts. Legal action is pending. Just know that Ethos doesn’t offer anything except the guarantee that you will be sold to every database they can find and you will be hounded for months and your data will never be safe again.

I called to ask questions and the representative was not helpful and referred me back to the website to apply. Their ads say it is easy to apply. Really bad first impression of the company from someone literally looking to buy a life insurance policy.

Please stay away. Due to unforeseen life circumstances, I needed to cancel my policy. They refused to issue me a refund for the many $200+ monthly payments I had been making towards the policy. This is a scam. I asked the agent on the phone if there is a higher up I can speak in regards to the matter, he said no. Definitely do not recommend. Very greedy company.

Do not request information from Ethos Life Insurance...you have been warned! I had a short list of questions I needed answered and requested info. This mistake has resulted in a relentless barrage of phone calls that has now lasted over 3 months. I've begged them to stop calling but it's almost as if Ethos is sending my contact info to more and more agents. Seriously...2-3 calls a day for months!!

The individual who called was very unprofessional. She refused to accept that we were no longer interested in a policy and demanded that I tell her who we used instead. I told her that it was not the company's business who we chose and she refused to accept that answer. I asked her to remove my application and phone number from their database and not call again. I hung up and she immediately called back. I again asked her to remove my application and she told me "you have to tell me a company that you chose, you can lie about it, you can say State Farm." I said fine, you can write in State Farm. She said "Great, you have a blessed day, you should probably do some praying" in a nasty tone.

Ethos Life advertises under the guise of Veteran's Benefits, whose brokers constantly blow up your phone to get your business. They are also a preferred risk company in that they cherry pick qualifying customers. So, if you are over 65 and have type 2 diabetes, you are considered a health risk and do not qualify, even if you are still in good health, managing your condition, and receiving excellent health care. I say this borders on age discrimination.

If you are Insurance Agent like me never submit a policy with Ethos, you will waste your time and if you are a potential insured go to National Life or Mutual of Omaha. Ethos use another Carriers to submit the policy, in the Real life the intermediate between you and the real Insurance Carrier. The Customer Service is completely unprepared and they used People that don’t live in USA and if you have any problem with your policy always receive the same response “Your problem will be resolved in 24 or 48 hours.” All lies, stay away from this company.

I made the mistake of going to their website and beginning the process. Page after endless page asking about medical history for the past 10 years. I started to feel like they would just look back into your medical history to avoid paying a claim by saying that you lied about the x-ray on your arm being done without a referral eight years ago, or the visit to the doctor when you mentioned getting more headaches than usual.
I closed out the website after about a hundred specific medical questions that nobody could possibly remember for sure, and have been getting phone calls and text messages and emails from people claiming to work for Ethos AND other companies as well. They start the calls with my personal information to show that they actually have my information. I NEVER saw anywhere that I agreed to put my information out to these companies, but I am sure it was somewhere in the small print. STAY AWAY! Don't even check your rate. Get an insurance agent to shop rates.

Very sketchy company! Got through all of the parameters and questions…then received notice that policy couldn’t be provided unless I called in…. Then they said due to my pharmaceutical medical history, I was only approved for a $100/month 300k policy until I am 80 which is not terrible but the customer service agent told me that I was denied all other coverages because of my pharmaceutical/medical history?!? I am strong believer in East coast medicine, I don’t take pharmaceutical drugs for anything. Not even Tylenol! This was a fabricated assessment. Beware of ETHOS.

The individual who called was very unprofessional. When I explained that I wasn't interested in the policy he was offering and this is when he became rude and condescending. There was a threatening nature to his claims that I wouldn't be able to do this quote later when I told him I was busy. He claimed the call would only take 10-15mins and an hour passed. He mocked my school's life insurance policy, was very bossy and snotty in his responses, and he even said, "I don't need your business." Overall, this individual should not be working in a customer service compacity, and Ethos should be ashamed to be employing such a harassing individual. Bottom-line if you see this number appear on your caller id avoid it: **. Trust me I am saving you a waste of Time!

The application for Ethos was an incredibly simple process. The rates are relatively competitive to others and, in fact, even beat some of those companies. Making it better, I didn't have to go through the drawn out medical exam process, which is not only inconvenient but doesn't exactly correlate with better rates with excellent results. I would definitely recommend giving Ethos a try for your life insurance needs.

The application process was very easy. I got my quote right after I replied to the questions and finalized everything in less than an hour. The representatives were very efficient and followed through afterwards making sure that I have resources to contact if I have some questions and clarifications throughout the process. The experience was straightforward. It was very easy to do it online. They also call and ask if you need any help. They have very limited plan options though. They give it to people who are moderately healthy. It was a little surprising that they don't do medical exam and rely on the answer given online. But it's good to know that we can do life insurance online without headaches of meeting agents who try to oversell.

The process with Ethos was all seamless. There wasn't a ton of navigating the Ethos website. It was just clicked on a couple of buttons, my information got shot to them, then somebody reached out. I did most of it over the phone. Their customer service was really good. They follow up. One time, I wanted to change policies. They had to do a little bit of legwork and within an hour, I had it sorted out. Everything's been great.

Why should any consumer have life insurance? For asset protection and passing down your legacy to your children instead of passing them down bad memories. I'm a life insurance agent and I advocate that 24/7. It was easy to sign up with Ethos. It was just the online process of filling out the application then it was payment and coverage and there it was. I did it myself as an agent and a policyholder.
Speaking from experience, the policy is one of the better tools out there because you get the coverage and it's right there. One thing I would like to see, though, is an indexed universal life policy, but I see why Ethos can't issue them right now. It’s a requirement for them to send the policyholder or the investor a print out of potential earnings or some kind of outlook as to what the projected earnings is gonna be. That requires more steps and a little more process, and it's nothing that Ethos can do right now, unfortunately. Overall, it's not the best price point because of the selection process of getting people covered, but that'll change in due time.

Ethos was a really smooth operation. Getting signed up was really straightforward and I liked that it was online. I didn't have to sit and try to think about answers to questions while on the phone. I had time to really enter it in and think about it, and it didn't feel rushed to make it correct. It was more of a customer service than a sales environment, which is what I prefer. I also like that I could get a price right away. I wanted something straightforward so I could adjust it to my budget.

Pricing was the number one reason I went with Ethos. There was also the waiting period. I got behind a month, but it wasn't a full 30 days. Ethos is a more modern version of a life insurance company and they have products to suit many, but not all. They're very reasonably priced and extremely easy to deal with. Once I did the quote online, they reached out to me as a customer. They did that immediately. And if I don't want to be contacted, I can just tell them that I don't want them to call me anymore.

Ethos came out to be a very reasonable place to buy insurance and signing up with them was very easy. You just fill out all the paperwork online and put in your banking account information. My experience is NOT with ETHOS but with my agent Marelee **. She is VERY INFORMATIVE and patient with me. Ethos application process was easy but I hope that is not the only way a client may apply as I initially applied with Marelee but the next time she wasn't able to do it and "I" had to apply online - I didn't like that. I prefer customer service, "in person" or on the phone with my agent to apply.

I really love the way they're changing the game as far as life insurance. They don't make this giant process that drags out before you can finally qualify for insurance. Ethos' price was better. However, I was told when I signed up that once the first payment comes out, I would get a $50 Amazon card but I only got a $20 card.

The policy that I had was going to be the same dollar amount per month, but it was less coverage. I went with Ethos and the price was lower compared to comparable coverage from other companies. Their process was very straightforward. However, the price that’s put out there is very different when you go through the questions. The rep told me the biggest thing was my weight. There might be too much emphasis on BMI, which I find that’s the way it is a lot in the insurance industry and other industries too. I am overweight, but I don't have any other problems. By BMI scales, I’m almost morbidly obese. But I'm not. They all go by that BMI standard and it's out of date. It should be a more holistic view of health. They could look at other factors like blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.

I did the application online then received the email confirmation to give a rep a callback, and we finished it over the phone. I had some additional questions and all of them were answered. The emails came in a timely fashion. Everything went well. Usually, you think that you should go with the big brand name of insurance companies. But a lot of times, they want you to pay out in order to get a good policy. It was refreshing to see that I can get that coverage with Ethos without paying way too much monthly, at least.

I purchased term life insurance through Ethos after having done some research. The application was quick and easy. They ask for bank account / credit card information before you accept but I guess that's standard practice in the industry. I did not have to get a physical which I believe is normally standard with many other insurance co's. The product and especially the price are very good for my age-63 compared to many other companies' quotes. I feel confident that I made a wise choice for my needs.

Been looking at so many companies including Ethos. Came back to Ethos after researching and saw rated as one of the best overall. Received an affordable quote which I was very pleased with. Means a lot to have coverage that doesn’t break the bank. Spoke with Dana who was very helpful in my trying to move forward with my husband’s application as found out he started one back in December which he forgot he done. Needed his permission to clear. Was able to call by conference calling him. She also told me what to do if happens again.
Troy a licensed agent called & texted soon after my application was approved to ask if I needed any assistance. He was very nice and helpful in answering my question. Said feel free to call if I had any questions or problems. Feel I made a very good decision even more in choosing Ethos. I had some insurance with a group and they won't sell multiple policies. I had to look around. There was the ease of navigation of the Ethos website and I know my fitness profile. Knowing how I take care of myself, I’m just too busy to be inconvenienced with the need to go do a bunch of labs and medical. Ethos made it super easy to take care of everything online. The sign-up was super straightforward. There was just the right amount of human interaction and I got everything I needed. An agent called me and made a couple of adjustments to get to where I wanted to be. She provided an easy link to give me access to the exact product that I wanted. I paid and I was all done. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

The process online was pretty easy. However, when I got the documents - the premium jumps pretty drastically at the last half of the time covered -- to the point where you wonder why have it. First 7 years is ok. After that I'm not so sure. I will keep shopping.

I had life insurance but I didn't have the coverage for the money. I decided to give Ethos a call and it was $1 cheaper than what I was paying. I got at least 6,000 more than what was the other deal. Customer service was really nice. They were quick and didn't drag out things. With the other one, they kept on, "You can get this for this much, you can get this for this much," and it just went on and on. I told Ethos I didn't want more than what I can handle and pay for. Their rep was very good at it. I just recommended them to somebody else.

Ethos was an online type of situation. It was a lot more user-friendly. Also, Ethos was way cheaper. They gave me a good deal. I've even told some of my friends because I've had other life insurances with different companies. I've been with State Farm first for car insurance for a long time. But I found out I didn't always get the best deal. So, I'm really happy with Ethos.

I started it with the virtual, like online stuff, and that was fine. I had a person reach out to me but there was a little bit of a disconnect. But he was consistent. He was following up with me. My application wasn't finished. He was asking me if I had any other questions, to help finish the application. I finally got it finished and it was good. They made it very helpful to be able to have access to life insurance. They still did their due diligence, but it wasn't overwhelming, which is always good today. Because there's so much going on, you don't have a lot of time to do things. The easier you can make it, the better. It was a balance.

They had someone call me over the phone and they were very polite. It took me a little while because I don't have a lot of cellphone service at times and I work long hours during the day, so the rep just called me a couple of times. It was “Hey. For some time I had been wanting to purchase life insurance in addition to what I have through my work. I received a mailer that talked about Ethos and decided to take a look. I found the quote process intuitive and the rates fair. Ethos connects people with reputable carriers. I settled for a 10-year term policy and got it started right away. My account access is easy and copies of all documents are available if I want them. I canceled in 18 hrs because of this inferior site. For example I was sent a 32 number to enter. Did you get that from the bible. My opinion is to stay far away from these shysters. I was initially happy with the policy that I was offered however the outcome left a bitter taste with a mistake that was performed on one of your servicers' part. I was told that it was my fault for the error. This was a difficult topic to have to deal with now I have to revisit this task. I thought that I was done. No person once to think about death. As I said this was hard to get me to get this far, and to tell me the policy has to be canceled hurts.

The process took no more than 15 minutes. We did everything online and that was perfect. I checked the plan options because there are a lot of companies who offer a bit more at the same or less expensive rate. I never get sick. I'm an athlete and I'm strong and very healthy. Even with that, my rate is very expensive at $90 because of my age. My wife got less than half and she got more insurance. If the cost was $70 for my rate, that would be great.

My parents have both passed away and they left me with a whole bunch of bills and the headache of figuring out what to do with them. I had to do all the stuff and figure it out and pay for it all. It was not fun. Some of the life insurance companies were so eager to talk me into something super expensive and they were not really willing to listen. They made things a little more difficult. Ethos did all the work for me and figured it all out. They gave me a really good quote and I was like, "Wow". They are awesome.

And I seen your ad. I been watching you guys for a while and it’s time to get everyone insured and blah blah blah. So when I got your quote and paid for it today I was looking at your ads again and charge me like 4×4/4 of the insurance. Why is that? I’m perfectly healthy. A couple of my friends that I want to enroll. I have diabetes and stuff like that so why would I bother if I’m perfectly healthy and I don’t come close to the ad price? Can you please let me know why it’s so different from your ad when I am healthy?

In the time a talking gecko saved someone else 15% on car insurance, I was able to buy a $1million policy to protect my children and estate. The only shortcoming of the system was that an old address was somehow autosaved for me and I could not change it. I am confident support will address this on Monday.

I was happy with this policy when I bought it on Dec 14th 2021. I have since found a better deal and have been trying to cancel my Ethos policy for 48 hrs now. These agents were tripping over themselves to sell me the policy. Now that I am trying to cancel no one is getting back to me. Not happy.

I was pleased with the simple application process. So many life policies take weeks to get started due to the medical exam process. I wish the option to add contingent beneficiaries was part of the application. I will have to submit these separately, I suppose.
