I had a security system installed when a customer's home was broken into. I was referred by another Vector customer. I've been a customer for about 12 years. I'm very pleased with the service I get from Sean **. Always professional. I have recommended customers to Vector and will continue to do so. I was not happy with the wait to receive service but Sean gave an explanation.

I have been with Vector for 12 years. Their service and support has always been first class. I would recommend Vector Highly - both their systems and service. The installation was completed with a minimum of disruption, the technology is good as is their service. Their Remote Web Based access gives a full overview of the system and is easy to navigate.

For several weeks our camera on our doorbell at 269 Sweet William Way, Raeford, NC had not been working. My husband called the company several times, he was always told to reset the camera. The reset would only last a couple of hours until the camera would go blank again. Finally, a technician was scheduled to come out to our residence. We had to wait for two weeks with a camera that did not work. The technician arrived and installed a new battery/camera and new sensors for windows (that had also not been working for several weeks). We were then charged 38.00.
The next day the camera started making the weird noises again. I called the company and was told that there would be a 65.00 fee to have the technician come back again after 3:00PM so my husband would not have to take off work again. I asked that the fee be waived since we had already went for several weeks with subpar service and the work that my husband had already missed to stay at our house for several hours awaiting the arrival of the technician. Was verbally told by Samantha that the 65.00 fee would be waived to come after 3:00PM.
Today we get a call that the technician would be there between the hours of 12-4 on August 17. This is not what I was verbally told. Today Tiffany stated that the service fee would not be charged but we may be charged a fee if it is found that there is electrical issues at our house. This is the first time anyone has mentioned this. Why did the tech not check that while he was there if that could have been an issue? Why wasn't this discussed last week? Also, today Tiffany and Samantha were unwilling to allow the tech to come after 3:00 so my husband would not have to take off work again and they could not guarantee that there would not be a charge if there was an electrical issue at my house. They did tell me that the technician is not an electrician so I am unsure how he knows for sure about any electrical issues at my home.
We feel at this point the technician is going to come out and say we have an electrical issue when we do not and it is the equipment of Vector security. I will have a licensed electrician look into any possible "electrical issues" not a vector security person. We are very displeased with the service and will not be renewing our contract and can not wait until it is over. We have respectfully asked that the technician no longer come to the house on August 17 because we fear we will get a unnecessary charge and be told it is our house and not your equipment, which by the way has only worked about 75% of the time since his last visit. The camera is constantly in and out.

I have been with Vector Security for a while and went with the upgrade because I'm getting rid of my house phone. I was happy to see the nice, new fancy keypad but there was a take away on this install. I was unable to get my doorbell camera done, the technician explained to me what the problem was, yet I was still a little disappointed. But anyway it doesn't take away the level of service that the tech gave me. He was very apologetic about the doorbell camera. Plus he gave it his all and all. I couldn't ask for more.

I have Vector Security because my parents wanted me to have the best protection for me as well as their granddaughter. It was a very good experience in learning how to use my doorbell camera. I always wanted to get one but of course money was an issue. I would definitely recommend Vector to the rest of my circle. Clifton was great, he was prompt, on time for the appointment and has a professional presence. My mom said that he is an example of a respectful representation of your company.

New installation today. Lots of workers come and go at this new construction residence but he was the most polite and informative. Feel extra safe knowing the experience that went behind this install. Efficient and kind to the home (wore blue shoe covers and cleaned up after himself). Great employee. I appreciated the time spent explaining the app to me too. Will consider additional products in the future from Vector based on things I didn't know existed for our safety. Thank you! Jen **

I have been a Vector customer for about 15 months. I am pleased with the service. Recently, I had a problem with a door, due to repairman for the door knocking the alarm piece off the door while working on the sliding glass door. It didn't see the door after that. The Service pro was Wayne **. He had come prior to this call and he evaluated the problem and I will have a repairman return this week to finish the process with new components. I have been very pleased with all the customer service I have received from Vector. They answer my questions and help me resolve any issues,
My most recent contact was with Robin **. She is amazing. Although I have had to wait to speak with Customer Service, Robin has been excellent. She listens, works on finding a good fit for the time and service and she has such a positive and helpful attitude. Robin is the kind of person every company should have in Customer Service. It is the Alarm company that assumed our system. The Technician was very professional and explained things well and was considerate of our needs. He fixed our problem and gave us tips on how to use the system more effectively. He also shared with us other products that Vector can provide for our security.

Longtime Vector customer. Always responsive and helpful customer service. Technician was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. One ding to corporate though, not the technician. A six hour arrival window is long. Then to find out the technician lives close by and we would always be late in the day before he goes home. That could have been communicated well ahead of the service date or at least day of so we’re not waiting for five of those six hours for a call or a knock on the door.

Stephen ** was prompt and very professional. He fixed my alarm system motion detector in a timely manner and answered all my questions clearly. He was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Curtis has been so professional since the first time he came to my home. He explained everything to us that we needed to upgrade our system. In fact, he went over the system that we had for years and the changes that would be helpful to make us feel safer. We really appreciated his expertise. We also were very happy they sent us Curtis instead of the previous person that came to our home. Curtis was one of the reasons we did not give up on Vector Security.

We choose Vector because our daughter bought a house, met a phenomenal salesperson and raved about the company. My daughter’s service was always perfect, however, my late husband and I fought with vector (with the help of our daughter) to get working cameras. In year four of our contract the equipment finally was correctly installed. My husband passed unexpectedly June 2022. I called for service and was told since the account was in his name, I’d be unable to receive service. The company continued their automatic withdrawals from my account and told me I had no recourse for quite sometime. Finally, someone with a heart explained I could cancel the service and gave me the steps.
Here we are in August of 2023 and I am still fighting to end the service for a contract with a dead man and I cannot even receive service. Compassion is something this company lacks. They keep withdrawing my funds and refuse to even put the account on hold. I just want your equipment out of my home, you to release my account monthly from your fees and others to be aware this contract is the first I’ve ever seen supersede death. You’ve been warned. Heads up, Verizon will no longer service their 3G to ensure your signals are shared during a power outage, they’ve reduced your clip capacity, and the fees increase almost quarterly.

It didn't happen that way because both of you are taking payments out of our bank account, for the last few months. Here when I moved in need someone to help set up the camera alarms. Won't beep when someone come to the door. Seem to have a turned off button. I have made 2 or 3 calls but never seem to understand how to turn on my ringer. If somenone came over I'm sure they would have if fixed in 2 minutes.

Was approached about installing a security system in 2012. Sales person was informative about services. Install in 2012 went smoothly. Since that time, Vector staff has been helpful and responsive to all requests. The security system worked well and provided a sense of safety. Cancellation requested as resident has moved to assisted living. Ellen ** handled the request and was professional and helpful. Email for cancellation was prompt and the form was easy to fill out.

I have been a customer since the early 90s. I recently decided to upgrade my system and the installer, Ricardo did a fabulous job. He knew just what to do, and did it in a user friendly way. Was not happy until everything was just right and I was pleased. I am very happy with the whole process. He is very good at this type of intricate work.

I was glad to see Clifton again, he was the technician that installed our new system with cameras. He is still the most proficient guy I know. He would have been a great fit in the Corps. Listen I really appreciate Clifton for coming out. I work 3rd shift & when I got home & saw your company truck I totally forgot about my appointment. Truth be told I wanted to cancel because I was so exhausted but Clifton assured that this would be a smooth task, he walked the property with me and recommended that I should get another camera. After that I couldn't tell you anything else because I fell asleep but when I woke up and looked at my phone because I started getting notification from the cameras that he installed. Great job. This comment is just to reinforce my personal perspective about vector security. We are long time customers of Vector Security and I have to say that your company has the best customer service that I received from any company. Whether it was for a cell phone or internet providers...etc I don't get handle around. The technician Clifton was very professional and prompt, so much so that when he called to state the time that he would get to our home (8am) I had make sure that everyone was up feed and dressed. That is unheard of for a Saturday morning appointment, I'm NOT complaining but you usually have to wait a few hours before anyone would show up. I really appreciate that because it help jump start our day. Once again thank you, thank you for such kind and prompt service. I would definitely recommend your company to our friends and family.

Making an appointment was quick. Calling the local office makes this process so much easier. Zack the technician was on time, polite and friendly. I received a call prior to his arrival to give me a more specific time. Zack, diagnosed the issue shared his repair plan and did the needed repairs in one visit.

The Technician came during designated time period. He was efficient, and friendly, and informative. The system is working well. I have never had any problems with it. It is very easy to operate. The original installation was simple and clean. The system was easily modified when the house was enlarged.

I was very satisfied when I was able to get this task done. I was rushed to the hospital on my original appointment date. With all that was going my son and I totally forgot to call and cancel for that morning. Thankfully the support that I received from my sales representative and the technician, we were able to get this back on track. Updated on 07/21/2023: Later in the afternoon, I tried to call again. This time between the wait and the call... another 20 minute wait. I was going to a funeral, so VECTOR was to call me in 3 hours. After about 6 hours... not hearing from them, I called again. Service was closed. However, the gentleman was very cordial and helpful, and gave me the local office. I called this morning. A brief wait... then transferred to another person. This person was very cordial and understanding and scheduled my service call. This has NOT been a good first impression with VECTOR.
Original Review: I have been a customer of ADS for about 6 years. ADS changed to Vector. I've had outstanding security from this company. HOWEVER, I received a call that my back door battery was low. I called to make a service appointment. I was on hold for SEVERAL minutes. Finally a representative took my call, was calling service... My call was disconnected. Very frustrating.

The installer was professional and personable. Performed the installation very quickly. Was actually able to come early and called to verify that I would be there. He verified that I had no further questions and even showed me a tip for my existing door lock that I was unaware of.

Hello. I have to thank Vector security for calling to ask if I wanted to upgrade my system. It didn't cost me anything which is a plus. I wasn't home when the technician arrived home but I was able to meet Clifton before he left and I really appreciate his due diligence. My cameras & door lock were not working but I really like the fact that he did not give up until the issue was resolved. He did offer me a free smoke thing but it really was not necessary for me to have two in such a small space but have to thank him for his consideration. Vector Security will be the company I will back and definitely will recommend to my family and friends.

Long time customer who needed security cameras installed. Our service guy Michael was tremendous. Went step by step with the installation explaining what was going to be done. I decided to go with your company on a whem. I heard a lot of good things about Vector security, for instance that the customer was better than most companies. I was glad to know that the statement holds true. I've had service with Vector for over five years. I have never had any problems with their service. Anytime we had an issue, it was taken care of promptly. If it's not taken care of over the phone, they make sure that they can get a technician to check the system in a timely manner. The technician checked and double-checked to make sure everything was working right. Overall, they are very reliable, and we have recommended several people to Vector.

As a customer for over twenty years, I would highly recommend Vector Security. It is number 5 in all areas of Security! A signal was notated to the fire station of problems in the attic, true enough two weeks later the breaker box caught on fire, the signal went to the fire station again, the damage was reported and the house was rewired. Service is great and technician was professional but Vector charged me $ 38 for a service charge. I have been a loyal customer for years. The system malfunctioned and the phone representative could not restore service so he arranged for a technician to repair. Very disappointed that Vector did not take responsibility for their service failure.

Vector was who the previous owners used and recommended. We are very happy with our experience, from the beginning with Ryan to getting everything set up in the house and updated. I have had many issues with the quality of the cameras. Poor quality when I open the app to view camera it just spins and does not open as I have received activity notifications. The camera does not open, it usually needs to be shut down and reopened several times before it will open to view the camera.

We have had three erroneous alarms in the same area within our home. Called for site visit to identify and remedy the problem. Was told there was no problem after brief assessment and to continue to set alarm to bypass that area. No determination as to cause of the false alarm, no plan of action, just a bill for $140+. Ridiculous, not service oriented, no plan for remedy.

I honestly cannot wait for my contract to end with Vector. While customer service have always sent someone out to address any issues we’ve had, the last tech that came out was argumentative and didn’t resolve the issue. Now one of our cameras is completely inoperable and I’m not surprised. Our garage door sensor doesn’t work and hasn’t in months, just nonstop issues for paying for this monthly. Our Ring doorbell was more effective than this whole system combined. Even $10 a month would be too expensive for this “security system”.

Just another company that doesn’t care about you at all. I been with Vector for over 15 years paying my mother's Security bill and mine. And I fell behind because I lost my mother and father in the same year and switched jobs. Was a lot. And I asked over and over to speak to a Manager and they refused to let me speak to a manager and when I finally did they were as Nasty as could be to me as if I owed them money personally and would not hear me out to work with me at all. Over 15 years of money each month you collected from me and refused to even have the decency to listen to me or work with me to pay off what I owed. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE AND VERY DISAPPOINTING after all these years. And now I’m in collections. Amazing customer service. I will write a review everywhere I can 'cause this was ridiculous. I was trying to speak to a manager before paying and we see how well that went. Thanks Vector.

Today I had so much going on, this is well expected when you are trying to get settled in from moving from one place to another. I was very impressed that we received a call in the morning from the technician to give us an arrival time. Clifton was prompt and professional. We have had Vector Security for sometime now, when we brought the house the equipment was already there. Never really had any real issues up until one of the cameras just completely stopped working and the other camera that we thought was working stopped also. But I have to say that the technician that was on site worked very hard to get the issue resolved,there were snags that he ran into but he worked tirelessly to get it corrected, I believe my wife said that his name was Clifton but we would like to thank you again for setting up everything, our youngest son is so excited that his mom can see him playing in the backyard.

We upgraded our existing system today after 17 years. It took longer than I expected, but after seeing the extent of the work involved, I totally understand. Bob, the Vector technician, was extremely thorough with his explanations and demonstrations. He never stopped working the entire time he was here. The way she just pushed for me to get this system was ridiculous! So now we're stuck in a 3 yr. Agreement for something that was pure pressure to get! Ok time is hard already people don’t need to get things out their price range when they know they can’t afford it! How rude is that! But it’s ok so far and the installer was an great young man but could’ve used a mint before speaking to me with that tart breath! Upset but it’s ok so far.

Kevin was kickass. He was so professional. This system blows away ADT. Kevin took the time to clean the wires up at the panel. Check the wiring throughout the house. Kevin removed all the ADT wireless that had been installed over the years and used the original wires that ADT pushed back in the wall! Now I have a completely hardwire system. NO MORE BATTERIES beeping at 3 AM!

I was conned by a salesman to sign up for a 36 month contract when my wall unit wasn't working. I've been a faithful client for 17 years. I've moved to a rental house which doesn't allow me to put in an alarm like this. The new owners don't want to use Vector. Also, my portable system has been broken for at least a year. They never contacted me back to fix it and now say that they did. I want to cancel my contract but am told I owe for the next 18 months. This is really poor business. I was also yelled at by a women named Allison when we discussed this issue. I've been a good client. I really think that you should forgive the next 18 months' worth of payments.

Having this Alarm System has been nothing but STRESS & FRUSTRATION. Rep did not explain that this was a 5 year contract and the connection in this area is HORRIBLE! They are always blaming the internet and each tech that has been out here, (and let me tell you there have numerous service calls in the past year for the same issue) and NOTHING gets resolved, the camera works for a lil a few weeks and goes back out. How do I know I am protected against fire and burglary? There are no guarantees! But Yet I am getting charged every month! You call in and they bounce you around and keep you on hold. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!

Recommended by family. My recommendation to anyone who wants this service is to read their contract. No clause that if your house burns that they put it on hold till you rebuild or buy another property. They charge you without providing a service or anything during the time you have no home. Only 6 months then full charge until end of contract. Would never recommend Vector Security and will help convince anyone there is a better company than this.

The service is mediocre. I have 2 back cameras that have inoperable for weeks, if not a month, only because I switched internet service providers and you all want to charge $140 for a tech to come do something that takes 10 min. I will be switching as soon as these contracts terms, trust. I also requested last year that someone contact me because I was wrongfully accused of something and to have been able to have the images from that day would have been helpful to show that I was home and never left but I was never contacted.

Problem with bell ringing and working. Charged $145 to come out and fix "battery was faulty" and also find out that we were never told of features that were supposed to be there. Frank ** came today to address an issue with our LiftMaster garage door opener that is on our Vector alarm system. Frank had properly diagnose the issue on a previous trip and so he was well prepared when he arrived today. The appointment was at 10 am and Frank was finished and out the door at 10:15 am. Very professional, very helpful and we are very satisfied!

It took them almost a year to get our system right and the last visit the guy broke the wood off of our attic door and they refused to get someone to come out and fix it. They wanted me to do all the work of finding someone to fix what they broke. The service is really bad during one of the outage times. We had someone steal a pressure washer from our garage.

We had Hammond/Vector for many years. I’ve had a few problems with some things that were corrected, motion detector, some window connections. We have disconnected the detector service because of our cat and the window issues have been resolved. But, today we had a door alarm issue which was our fault. I received a one ring on my cell phone with no human response. Only a text message saying there was an alarm issue. Then on our home phone answering machine there was a message from Vector saying there was an issue and to call back….I know you have my cell number but no one called it, they have in the past but not today! This could have been a serious problem but it wasn’t this time. You should call both numbers. If this continues to happen I will look into a different service. Thank you.

Excellent service for 10 years two different cities. Vector was on the box with me during a tornado. Unlike many alarms it does not go on unnecessarily. It’s great to come home in the middle of the night and know you're not walking into a house that someone may have snuck in as the alarm.

I have been with Vector for many years. When I decided to upgrade my system, I went with the people I knew.. A few days after installation, late last year, the main board went dead and they had to replace it. Now, last week, less than 7 months later, the main board went dead again. Now they tell me they can't come out until June 8th and even with my service plan, they want to charge me $25 to come out.

The company has been working to get to the bottom of what occurred. This never should have happened in the first place, JSO shares most of the blame but Vector could have mitigated this. I appreciate that they have gone to great lengths to understand and correct the issue so this does not happen again... for us or other customers.

We initially selected Vector Security because we mistakenly thought they were a good company that balanced price without compromising quality... But we were wrong. We immediately registered out alarm, same day it was installed. When we had an alarm go off on Saturday Vector took almost 2min to answer our call in the monitoring center, the employee claimed he attempted to dispatch with JSO but said they refused because, "our alarm was not registered" despite the fact it was registered. The employee did not push back & remind JSO that we had 30 days to register the alarm. Instead we are paying for security services that are poorly monitored and even more poorly dispatched in an emergency. I would be terrified to think of what would happen if we used the panic alarm... With Vector Security, we would be in grave danger.

Didn’t even notice me that my payment hasn’t been paid when it was on autopay and sent my debts straight to collection before notifying me of anything. Also, I stopped by the office on a midday on a weekday to discuss some things but they were always out of the office with no sign or anything. Expensive for 0 reason, very outdated security system overall. Never ever in my life will I use Vector Security again. Their competitors are top-tier for a reason.

I have been with you guys for 2 or more years now. I have recommended my son to alarm company too. But I have to speak for myself. I have not been disappointed not one time since I had the system installed. I don't get handle on the phone with a bunch of excuses like the company that I have canceled, matter of fact it has been spot on service. I was unable to be there for the camera install but my sons were there and they told me while I was on the phone that the technician was mad cool. He did a great job in completing the task. I was satisfied with the location of the camera.

Last night, it started alerting low battery, etc. I could not turn it off. I called your 800# and spoke with Tyheem. I'm 75; he walked me thru on how to disable my devices. It was challenging. He had to send me a photo of what to look for so I could finally terminate the system. He was patient, kind, courteous and went far above all expectations. If I could not give them any stars I would. The day after we had our security system installed we started having problems. Our doorbell camera only works about half the time. We have called customer service several times but they can’t fix the problem. We tried getting out of our contract but they refuse to do so unless we pay the termination fees, even though their equipment is junk.

Sales rep came to our door on our move in date. He definitely took advantage of us during that chaos. He assured us that if we signed the contract and moved, that services could be moved to the new address. Well here we are a year later. We moved and are now being told services can’t be moved to our new address, and we will be responsible for the full contract balance. Do not trust this company, the sales reps will do and say anything to get you to sign the contract. I will be making a video addressing my concerns with the company so my 1 million+ followers across Tiktok and Instagram do not make the same mistakes as I did.

I have certainly learned whenever you receive impeccable service you stick with it. I have been with Vector ecurity for a while. I'm a 31 year retired Marine Corps Sergeant Major so it's great to see a company striving for better. Your customer service help in facilitating the appointment and the young lady was very good. The technician Clifton was very professional, my wife liked the fact that when he enter our home he was prepared with shoe covers, that really impressed her. My experience with Vector Security has been wonderful. The tech came out to add a keychain remote to my system. He was very helpful. He inspected the whole system and showed me how to use the app on my cell phone. The people that I have talked to on the phone have always been very courteous and helpful. We chose Vector because it was used by the previous owner. I am very happy with the service Curtis provided. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I have been on the fence about getting my system upgraded but thankfully I'm glad that I did. I've been a customer for a few years or more never had any problems with Vector Security. When I call about an issue they always handle it with care. I'm also happy to let you know that the tech did a great job with helping me get familiar with my new system. I was very comfortable on using it once he was done. Clifton did a wonderful job and I would recommend this kind of service to my friends and family.

I chose to stay with Vector Security because this was the company that my Mom had. Now that I have taken over the property I feel it is just best to leave it the way it was. Your customer care department helped me with getting everything set up. I was happy with how things turned out. Clifton was very kind and helpful in getting things up and running although I wasn't able to stay for the installation. I just a good feeling that Clifton would do what needed to be done. I was pleased with the results.

Incredibly unprofessional to renew contract and when trying to cancel just to be told “You are locked into a contract”. Will never recommend Vector to anyone... EVER. All neighbors will be notified of my discoveries and I will convince all to switch from this awful company.

I was turned over to collections after paying a final bill (3517 Blaze Drive). I have the cancelled check. I saved the email that I sent to Ms. ** when I did not receive a final bill in the mail as I had requested. This is insult to injury as I had to go through the Vector technical department to get someone to speak to me about ending service and getting a final statement. My account was auto deduct. I called the number listed in the White pages and was told the company had been sold to another security company and they did not have access to my account information. They provided a 1-800 number which went straight to a recording.
I entered the prompt, but voicemail could not be left. So after begging for the technical support team to get me to someone re: ending service and getting a final bill, I spoke with Ms. **. Still no bill received so I emailed her requesting a final statement. I did the right thing even though your company did not make it easy… In fact they made it hard. You need to do the right thing and send me a letter of apology and correction!

We have used Vector for the past 13 years and the prior homeowners used them before us.. We have been very satisfied with service. When it came time to upgraded they were my first choice and they did not disappoint. The technician was very professional and stayed until the job was completed. He made sure I was able to use the new system and made sure all my questions were answered.

The staff was very pleasing. Like having Bob as a technician for our Credit Union. Very knowledgeable and friendly! Very personable and was very assertive to give our CU the correct information to keep us up to date on what we need and what he did at his last visit! Very happy to have him as our tech. I've had the Vector Security system for a while. I've had many instances where the Alarm has gone off and not once have I received a call from the Co. Basically I'm paying for a box on the wall. Sad.

Service tech Bob at house today to diagnose a problem with our alarm system. He quickly identified the problem, was able to correct the issue and provide information regarding the operation of system. He cleaned up the panel area for us to make it more accessible. Replaced a non-functioning keypad. Bob very easy to work with and always friendly and quick to answer calls.

Updated on 06/01/2023: Had problems with doorbell camera and was lucky enough to get the first unit in the area that functions on the old system. The unit allowed me to avoid the cost of an electrician coming in to upgrade components in my home. Thank you.
Original Review: Have had problems with video doorbell. Good first year and a half. Then quit responding. Gentleman came, got it working and then it quit. Had new one installed, worked about 6 to 8 weeks. And quit. Another new one installed. I was told needed to have a new transformer but I had to get electrician because they can’t touch it. Now I have no doorbell or camera. Strange electrical devices but no electrical installers.

I had a guy go door to door in my subdivision (which has a no solicited sign) talk me into getting Vector. Signed a 2-year contract cancel anytime after 2 years he said. I got into some hardship and called to see if I could cancel. Lady said she couldn’t cancel because I had standing balance that need to be paid off first. She said she could pause the account which I obliged. Long story short I waited till I had the payoff about 4 months later to find out that I was supposed to verify by email on the pause payment. Since I didn’t reply they keep charging my bill. So now I went from being behind 2 payments, to now being behind like 6. So I after finding this out I asked to speak to a supervisor and the way this lady belittled me was not ok.
I explained to the lady that I called and I paused it and she was the one who told me about the email verification. (The other girl who was super nice might have told me but I couldn’t remember if she did ). When telling her I wasn’t aware of my payments continuing and I just want to pay what I owe before I called the first time (2 missed payments). This damn Satan wife of the security club told me that I had to pay remaining balance which was around 6 payments. Little did I know when trying to cancel I found out that after contract it automatically renews you for another full year. So I said, “Even though I don’t want the service no more, I’m still obligated to pay the full year?"
This rug stain said, “It was right there in black and white, didn’t you read the contract?“ I said, “Ma’am, I don’t read well and I’m going off what the guy said. I just want to pay my missed payments and cancel." Doodoo on the shoe said, “Sir you didn’t follow up on email after calling and didn’t read your contract, so what do you want me to do?“ I said, “I want you to cancel my order, take my 2 payments that I agreed to pay and let me go.“ Ole funky monkey said same thing then apologized to say she might be able to take 20% off or something. By this time I mad because I felt like this was bad business. I agreed on a 2-year equipment and monitoring and not an endless contract that keep renewing itself yearly.
So I told her "Fine, piss off and I will pay your ** balance." Hungry hippo was wanting full payment and again I told her I was in a financial situation and I couldn’t pay. I need food more than I need the balance paid. Megadeath insisted she could accept nothing no less. So I told her again how this was bad business and I would pay the best way I could and hung up.
So don’t ever go by what the salesman says and if you're not a lawyer like me and don’t understand contract writing riddles then don’t sign with this company. I’m still in a financial situation right now but if I ever decide to get an alarm system it will definitely not be with Vector Security. RING will be my next choice! I would also like to add the service itself wasn’t bad. Couple times my alarm went off and they did call with a fast response and handled it well. The salesman was nice, the other girl was nice who tried to help me and I would have went back with Vector again until I encountered the megabeast. I’m not a bad person and I often do reviews (if I do it’s normally to praise the staff, kinda like Vector staff was great) it was this one sinkhole that made me so mad I wanted to rip my monitor off the wall just so I wouldn’t be reminded that I made the mistake of joining Vector.

I was having trouble with my old doorbell camera and I called. They sent me a service technician and he did recommend for me to get a new and better one. I have to say it is, my wife and I are both very pleased. Your tech Clifton was very thorough. He noticed that the other cameras were not working but explained to me what was going on but I just didn’t have the time for him to start working on them. I had to go to work. My router was charged as he explained. That’s why the cameras were not working properly but I’m sure that together we’ll get it fixed.

The reason why Vector Security was on the top of the list is because of the performance of personal service. Your company doesn’t handle their customers as if we need you. Your company takes their appointments on a personal level which means a lot to me. Although I wasn’t able to get everything done like my doorbell camera and my door lock, that was on me. I didn’t have a working doorbell and my original door opener was too small for the new one. But I did like the fact that your technician Clifton was able to clarify everything to me, he also gave us some alternative solutions that we could use which was cool. It was a pleasure to have Clifton there. We were very pleased with his level of professionalism.

Bob ** has been with me every step of the way since my 6 cameras were installed. He sorted out the analytics, troubleshooted one bad camera and immediately replaced and helped me with my Wi-Fi setup which was causing the cameras to repeatedly drop ready. All is now working perfectly…and fast I might add. He would not leave until HE was satisfied. He should be Vector’s “poster child” for exemplary customer service.
