I have not had any problems with Vector in my over 12 yrs of service from them. When I have called Vector has responded in a timely manner. The service persons have always been professional as well as the customer service persons. I will be looking to upgrade in the near future. Just wish there were senior discounts!

Ray was our technician today. He did a fantastic job installing our new system! He was very efficient and he explained all instructions clearly. He was also very thorough in examining our space and making sure that all of our security needs have been met. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

Choose Vector because they had agreement with sponsor of Valencia Grand. I am a customer of ADT in NY and they are a Model you might want to view. They are available (24x7) 7 days a week and they have a model you may want to view. They answer the phone, no recording to leave a message and "We will get back to you." Set up service appt with Vector and they are booked 2 weeks in advance. I have spoken to others at Valencia Grand and as soon as we take over we will look to bring in ADT. Better service.

I didn’t not know that I had an upload limit. The way I have my cameras set up to keep a good close eye on my property is using my limit. I am getting emails saying I only have 50% left with more month left. I am making it but am coming close thanks. I love my home security but just worried about running out of limits.

We have had Vector for 20 years. Initially I was totally satisfied. But service is different now. I have the “upgraded plan” which entitles me to a yearly check of the system and battery replacement. Now tho I am being charged with travel fees. The last 2 times have been unsatisfactory. The technicians arrived without the right batteries. I was told if he came back that I would have to pay another travel fee. It all feels different. Neighbors here have AT&T. They seem more satisfied than I am. I am considering upgrading to a wireless system and will certainly talk to them about their service plans and costs.

We had ADT. The system didn’t work and if you called they had no idea what system you had and it was so frustrating. Then, another competitor but very good recommended Vector because they didn’t service our area. Vector from sales to service and from equipment to a wonderful wireless system has been awesome. Everyone cares and everything works!

We have Vector at 2 homes and have been pleased, but we never got a sign for our yard like we have at our primary home. I was told someone would drop one off but so far we haven't seen one. New panel is a bit different but it works well and when we have set the alarm off someone call right away.

Because I already had it. John C did a great job and took time to explain everything in detail. He went over with me few more times so that I understood it very well. He also put the app on my phone and showed me how to use it. He is was extremely friendly and I am very impressed and caring.

Vector was our security system for a long time. We upgraded the system to make sure we have the newest panel. We added a door bell to allow staff to see who is coming to the door. Joel did an awesome job of setting up the door bell and servicing the system.

Hello- I have been trying to contact vector security for 7 months now to terminate services. You all continuously bill our account and email me for non payment. I have emailed Kimberly Merrick several times now requesting account termination due to non existing customer service, inaccessibility of my cameras (which defeats the purpose of having a system), and inaccessibility of my online account for help. This service has been a complete Scam and my voicemails for termination requests are never returned.

Our salesman, Ryan, and the two our installation workers or technicians were incredibly professional and efficient. We felt that Ryan did a great job on our quote and installation was initiated very quickly after we signed the contract, which was nice. We felt that everything was installed in a timely manner and we felt that the technicians cared about everything being done both correctly and aesthetically pleasing for our house (making sure any holes were covered, no paint missing, etc). We have enjoyed y'alls services and feel we are getting great value. 10/10 service.

My Vector system was experiencing numerous supervisory errors and I scheduled a service call on the earliest day possible...May 29th (10-12 days later). The tech replaced over a dozen batteries and the system checked out. May 30th 3-4 new communication errors appeared. Renee did fantastic job coordinating with the tech and my home watcher and me to arrange a follow-up service call TODAY. The next available appointment was June 29th. GREAT JOB RENEE‼️

I have moved and called customer service. After speaking to a woman on the phone she put me on hold for about 5 minutes and when she came back she informed me that she could not discontinue my service and that I would need to speak to a cancellation specialist and that they were in a meeting but would call me back. After a little over an hour and not receiving a callback I called again, and spent the next 15 minutes on hold before a human ever answered, it was the same woman. This was just after 4 pm Central time and she informed me that they had all gone home for the day. I informed her that I was considering my account closed as of today and they if Vector Security charged me that I would sue for fraud. This is when she decided to get rude and belligerent, she wouldn’t let me speak so I listened to her for a few minutes while she went through her list of grievances with my request.
When she was through speaking I again informed her that I was from this day forward considering my account closed at which time she talked over me, wouldn’t let me speak, and when I raised my voice she informed me that she was “hanging up on me because I was yelling”, which I was not. After this kind of customer service and a previous time when my alarm was tripped and whoever took care of it where it’s monitored called and left a message in my voice mail to inform me that “if I needed anyone to respond to please call them back” I will never use or recommend Vector Security to anyone! They’re simply horrible.

Keenan-Service. Since switching from ADT to Vector Security, I cannot express enough the difference in the service I have received, Each time I have had my issues (mostly operator error) corrected on the first call. I have never had to call back on a repeat problem. In one call, my thermostat jumpers were initially set incorrectly, I called in my air conditioning people and they couldn’t figure it out, Keenan came and looked at the jumpers and knew immediately that they were incorrectly placed. He made the adjustment and I had no more issues. Thankful for his professionalism, promptness and overall service since switching to Vector. It is so nice to know I am with a company that I can trust.

I had Vector Security in the past and was happy with it. Curtis was very helpful and I added the doorbell ring per my daughter's suggestion. I will sleep better knowing I have this since my husband has recently passed away. I have had a package taken from my porch in the past so I am thankful for the opportunity to add the ring.

First, let me say that we love the technician who normally comes to our home. His name is Jeff and he really is amazing! The issue is this… we had a major storm come through yesterday that knocked out our modem and router both. We went without internet for 24 hours before someone was able to get here to fix the issue. Unfortunately, we had to get a new router and modem, which caused our cameras to disconnect from the security system.
I have called multiple times, pushing every button available, to speak to someone about resetting the network. I have yet to speak to a human. I understand today is a holiday but you guys are supposed to be a 24/7 security company. What happens if someone breaks in my home tonight or Wednesday when I leave for vacation? These cameras are supposed to give me a sense of safety or at the very least the satisfaction of knowing justice has a better chance of being served if need be. I am very disappointed in you, Vector Security. I am not sure we will be continuing our service after this! Again, we love Jeff though!

Nick was the best! Nick was thorough in not only adding my doorbell camera but also he suggested a second outdoor camera to cover my back yard and back door. Nick also changed all my batteries in my existing alarm devices. My batteries never been changed since my old system was installed. Nick done a great job and explained how to work my App and alarm system more effectively.

Nick was a great technician and provided good service. He upgraded my alarm panel in my kitchen, changed my old door contacts to new ones and took out my old motion detector in my hallway to a new motion detector in my hallway. Nick made sure all my devices had new batteries too. He explained very clearly how the alarm arm system work.

From the beginning of the process - my first contact with Rodlyn ** - and through the setting of the appointment and the installation, my experience is very positive. Ray's ability to go above and beyond for me to get my cameras back working for me is far more than what I could ever ask for in a technician. He got my app back working and even help me at my elderly age to talk with Xfinity to get my Internet back on so he could fix my cameras. I am very grateful for his service.

Was to install upper panel. Jon was terrific. He went over and above to make me and my home secure. Replaced my monitor and gave me a phone with panic button on it and called to have my service fee that was added to my bill when they came to change my batteries!!!! Our tech, Carlos, was great and very knowledgeable. Carlos arrived on time and checked all of our sensors and installed a new on. Carlos made recommendations that would save us money. He used booties coming in the home and was very polite and knew what was best for our home security system given our new addition on our home following a remodel. We appreciated the quick work he did once he arrived and was very thorough. Not sure what else you need but will repeat again.

Vector Security was already installed in this home when we purchased and Frank was so helpful and informative when we contacted Vector regarding how the system worked that we stuck with the company. Prices were competitive and beat out the other competition we spoke with as well. Already a customer of Vector and from the beginning to end of the project, everything has gone perfectly. Trey was courteous and professional. He discussed placement, usage and maintenance of the alarms. He explained it in lay terms I could understand and took time and did not rush so I had a full understanding of what was done. I switched to a new company for home insurance today and the service rep requested a dealer certificate of security monitoring from my security company. When I called Vector a nice woman told me that it could take up to 48 hours to receive the document via email. To my surprise I receive it just a few hours later, thanks to Jacob ** in the Fairfax, VA, office. Now I can forward this to my new insurance agent & check it off my pending list. Very efficient and knowledgeable. Tech replaced main panel battery and helped custom get re-acquainted with her key fob. As well as explained to customer the options and functions system has along with offering help by phone if needed. All systems are functioning to customers' specs.

When this was Hammond Security (before Vector bought them) it was a great customer oriented company. Now, they are a bunch of money hungry crooks. We pay a fortune of money for their support, monitoring, and service contract. Now, they are charging (without telling anyone) a fee for travel when they come to the house! When it was Hammond Security it was awesome!!! When it went to Vector, it was good for a while but like so many other companies, they have grown too big and too fast and are no longer a good company to have for home security.
Now that I have cancelled with Vector, the true nature of their greed and lack of care for customers becomes even more visible. I use Autopay and they billed me $190 on 4/24/24 for three months. I cancelled on 4/25/24. Now they tell me that the $190 covers 4/1 - 6/30 which means they gave me almost a month of coverage without any billing - highly unlikely for a company that is so greedy. In addition, they are telling me that there is a 30 day delay where they keep my money before the cancellation is official. So, I am only getting $49 back from my $190. RIp-Off. They tell me it is in every contract that they can keep my money if I cancel. I never signed their contract since I started with Hammond and Hammond was customer centric - Vector security is $$$ centric. My advice is to change NOW!!!! I now have Doyle Security and they are great!

At one time cost. Not so sure anymore. I receive letters stating the latest technologies provided by your company. However, the service I receive is monitoring. Many companies are providing monitoring services in most cases at half the cost. Please explain your service monitoring cost. Also, what security is required to print a certificate?

Has the HOA contract, did a good job when hard wired smoke alarms were put in, want the security cameras to work with the alarm system already in place, also getting a carbon monoxide alarm so that a whole house generator can be put in, wife wants digital door lock on the cabana side door.

Tech was very knowledgeable and patient. Answered all my questions and gave comprehensive training on new equipment. Would have liked line to been hidden/ installed better. We have had several items requiring a visit or visits from Vector in the last few weeks. Rigel was assigned to Cava and we had incredibly wonderful service from him each visit. He went beyond what was expected and took care of our issues. He came one day intending to stay less than 30 minutes and ended up staying 4 hours just to fix the issue. I highly recommend him.

I choose Vector Security simply because they came by my house as soon as I moved in. They were very friendly. That's where the good stopped. They didn't explain it well to me. I choose the 2 cameras and doorbell camera. I was told that it would be professionally installed. This was not the case! When they came out to install they told me that I would have to pay a third party to install my doorbell camera. So I had to change my plan to 2 cameras. So after that I was told they didn't have time to set the perimeter for recording but that they would be back. It took over 3 months before someone came out. They only came out because I kept calling them. So that whole time no recordings were done. So they finally did the perimeter set up and I thought I was good.
A year later I needed to look at some footage for insurance purposes on my car. Went to look back and NOTHING had been recorded. So I called them and they said, "You have to set that up on your own on your phone." Talk about mad. So needless to say with no proof I couldn't claim the car on the ins. So that means for a year and 3 months nothing was recorded. I have asked to be let out of the contract because it has just been a horrible experience but they will not let me out. Also it only records in small increments and you have limited space. Mine runs out in two weeks so for the next two weeks nothing records. I would not recommend this to anyone not only that I will try to talk anyone and everyone out of getting vector. I wish they would let me out of this contract but they said there was nothing they could do. I hate this service with a passion.

Nick installed our upgraded system.. we are pleased with his work. He is friendly knowledgeable and courteous. Nick was quick and efficient. He asked us how we wanted things programmed and followed through with it. Employees are incredible disrespectful, interrupting the operations of other businesses. Employees sexually harassed a female teammate as she walked by. I had another alarm company and they sold it to Vector. I had more problems with setting up and the installation of the new alarm. I have had Vector for over 20 years and this is the worst customer service I have had with Vector. I wished I kept my old one. Lack of communication, calling back, etc.

Terry ** came to my home on time and replaced 2 door sensors and put in new batteries. Terry was very courteous. I would highly recommend him the next time I need service. I appreciate Vector and all those services they have provided for me and I would recommend them to a friend or neighbor.

I needed to have my alarm serviced! I called my company! They sent an amazing gentleman! Joseph! Joseph was very polite, kind and knew his product! He check all of the alarms and tested them. We chose Vector because the HOA has a contract with them. Making an appointment was easy; which was very helpful. Once the appointment was made there was clear and constant communication. The service technician called to confirm the appointment and arrived at the specified time. The service technician was excellent! He was professional, courteous and very patient. My office has been with Vector Security for over 10 years. We needed an upgrade to the present security system. Nick came in a did an excellent job troubleshooting our various issues. He made sure everything was in working order before he would sign off the job. This ended up as a 10-hour job that was unexpected to be that long. He made sure that he left areas neat and tidy. I had a wireless doorbell camera added to my security system. I have often been frustrated with the service of Vector Security, but this time they sent a very knowledgeable and polite technician. He answered all my questions and tried to resolve all my issues, including connectivity issues due to poor WiFi routing from Verizon. I called to report an issue, after being on hold 25 mins I gave the rep my information, she then was rude when I told her I was not sure if we were previously an ADP customer. She told me to hang on and transferred me without me knowing it, then I waited on hold again for another 10 mins only for the recording to tell me my fax didn't go through and if I wanted to re-record my message to push a button, then it cut me off! I then went online to open a ticket and that issue failed terribly, the web page would not go anywhere, tried multiple was and kept getting nothing. And I still have no resolution to our system errors that have, which are several.

The system and installers are wonderful. The issue is when you need to call for service. They never answer but require you to leave a message and if lucky you will receive a callback in a day or so. & it can take several calls to get your issue fixed since the first level likes to blame it on another provider. Very frustrating and I cannot recommend until they get a handle on this issue. You will not become aware of this problem until you are under contract.

Have been a customer for many years. Did a great job updating our old system which was 25 years old! Spent 6 hours fixing everything and checking to make sure it runs correctly. My husband was killed from a motorcycle accident. Our daughter had lived with us for over 8 years. 2 months after her and I buried her dad she was also killed on a motorcycle. I couldn’t stand living alone in the house by myself. I sold it in December of last year. I wasn’t told anything about a 3 or 5 year contract. I wouldn’t have gotten it if I had been told.

Adjust the cameras and made sure all were recording properly. Made sure all alarms were in sync. He inspected all cameras in both buildings, fellowship hall and worship center. I have been having an issue with my secondary panel since it was installed in Aug 2020. Last week I had Vector come in and Jerry (the tech) said the panel needs to be replaced. I spoke to the customer service person on the phone and she said she will speak with Jerry and call me right back. I have left several messages for that customer service agent as well as the manager who was supposed to make a decision on my case and no one is calling me back. Did not choose Vector. Would not use Vector ever if not, of GL Homes. Too many problems. Security is not supposed to be insecurity. Yard signs don’t exist with your service people. My experience with purchasing was sheisty. The tech that completed installation was great! Subsequent repairs and issues with the home monitoring devices are handled poorly. If my security service isn’t working properly, I am not understanding why that wouldn’t be deemed a priority? Why such a long wait for a tech to come out? My service isn’t working. I called in a repair 03/25/24. The earliest a tech can come out is 04/01/25. Wow. I pray to GOD for safety during this period. I doubt Vector will provide a discount for the duration that I paid for service but didn’t have service. I would select differently if I needed to choose companies again.

The billing Department needs to be improved. I already sent an email requesting to talk to a manager. For some reason omit to use the payment option set in the system, then sent letters notifying the account is due. I paid in advance and they are charging again. I have talked with customer services and staff from your billing department at least 2 or 3 times. Sometimes they have no idea how to reach the billing information and need to place the client on hold to check with someone else or escalate the call. It has been even time consuming for the staff of the billing dpt to come out with straight explanation.

The lady that called about the $25 I apparently owe was rude. I've not received a bill. She calls me again I will switch companies, I don't deal with rude people for no reason. Tried explaining I hadn't received anything about it and her response and tone for "It was mailed and not our problem you didn't receive". The technician, Jesse was very knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and respectful. He offered his phone number in case anything went wrong or anything needed to be fixed. I have had Vector Security for about 27 years. My service man was Bill **. I have known and trusted Bill for about 12 years. He is very polite, trustworthy and a true advocate of giving the customer good service. Bill diagnosed my issue with my Doorbell, tested, and made sure I was satisfied with my repair. Bill always goes above and beyond to make sure that you are a happy customer. I asked him to check my smoke detectors and he did not hesitate to change my batteries and also tested and was able to change the batteries on my door lock. I couldn’t ask for better service. Don was very knowledgeable about the technology in the house. We have a large house (sorority) and he took the time to properly check all of our panic buttons and window alarms. Updated on 05/23/2024: I am writing again to express my dissatisfaction with the continued product issues and technical support provided by Vector Security, which has reached an unacceptable level. Once again, my security panel has disconnected, leaving my property vulnerable. Over the past few days, I have reset my panel several times only to have one reconnect. To get the system working, at Vector’s recommendation I watched several online videos and have not been able to resolve the issue that way. I made several attempts to contact technical support, each time being transferred to voicemail. I purposely called as soon as the office opened today to be first in line to no avail. This pattern of neglect is deeply concerning and indicates a significant issue within your support infrastructure, likely stemming from understaffing or poor management as well as poor product quality.
Is your monitoring services understaffed as well if there is a problem on our property? This is not an isolated incident but rather a recurring problem I have faced over the last several years. The lack of responsiveness and reliable support is not only frustrating but also poses a serious risk to my security. As a customer, I rely on your services to protect my home, and the current situation is wholly unacceptable.
I request that a competent technical support representative contact me immediately to resolve this ongoing issue. Furthermore, I urge you to address the underlying problems within your support team to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. I will say that Katoya in your Customer Service office has been nice and did her best to assist, but it is not her role and she was limited in her knowledge. Your prompt attention to this matter is crucial, as well as an improvement in how you manage back office technical support. I expect a swift resolution and a significant improvement in the level of customer support provided by your company. Your customers deserve it!
Original Review: I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the performance of Vector Security's wireless keypad product and the quality of your customer service in handling product issues. As a longstanding customer, I expect a certain level of reliability and professionalism, both of which have been sorely lacking in my recent interactions with your company.
For as long as we have been utilizing your security panel, we have encountered persistent issues with it disconnecting from our WiFi network. Despite multiple attempts to rectify this problem, including visits from numerous service representatives, the issue persists. It is important to note that the problem does not lie with our WiFi connection, as our system is situated near the router and consistently receives a strong signal. Most of the time, restarting the keypad 2-3x has resolved this issue temporarily. This time, we have 2 panel that have not been working for several weeks. This puts our house safety at risk for a product that has not worked since installation.
Furthermore, my attempts to address this issue with your customer service department have been met with frustration and inefficiency. I have called multiple times and have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution. I am still awaiting a callback from a manager named David **, as promised by one of your representatives. Additionally, my recent conversation with a representative named April was unproductive and unhelpful. To compound matters, when I attempted to escalate my concerns by contacting the corporate customer service line, I was rerouted back to April, who inexplicably identified herself as Renee. This lack of transparency and accountability is completely unacceptable.
Most concerning of all, I was informed that the earliest available appointment for a technician to address the recurring issue with my system would be in four weeks, and that I would be expected to pay for this service. I adamantly refuse to pay for a technician to address a problem that your company has repeatedly failed to resolve, despite multiple service visits.
In light of these ongoing issues, I am requesting a formal response from Vector Security within the next 24 hours outlining the steps that will be taken to address and resolve the issues outlined in this letter. Failure to provide a satisfactory response in a timely manner will leave me with no choice but to pursue alternative avenues to address these grievances, including seeking recourse through consumer protection agencies and legal counsel. I trust that you will take this matter seriously and prioritize the resolution of these issues. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

We have been here since October. Calls when having it set up, but have a problem and no one calls back. We were away 6 weeks ago and received a notice of of a power failure from Vector. Hours later, we received another that it was restored. The doorbell camera no longer worked. When going online, it had 2 notations, one to contact for technical assistance and the other regarding the box which the wallpaper hanger removed and put back after completion. I have called and had to leave messages several times since then. NO ONE CALLS BACK!

Your agent talked me into it, same agent that talked me into AT&T a few years back. Signed me to a new contract with Vector probably knowing I was still under contract with AT&T. I had to pay them over $300 dollars to end my contract with them. He said he wouldn't pay them a dime. I did the honest thing and paid them. He said he would talk to management and see about getting me part of it back from Vector. You supposedly told him no, that it was AT&T's fault not yours. Very disappointed in Steve **.

I did not realize that when I signed up for Vector I agreed to a 3 year term. Feel like that is an unfair length of time. I cannot tell when someone is at my front door unless they ring the doorbell and then by the time it comes up on my phone the person is no longer there. Very unhappy with this service and would love to get out of this contract but I have been told there is no way to cancel remaining 18 months on contract without paying 18 months of service fee. Would not recommend Vector to anyone.

The builder of my house installed a Vector Security system. Little did I know that they were locking me into a barely legal contract that is designed to be as difficult to get out of as possible. We contacted Vector because of their reputation to provide the security system to our business. From the start, it was a negative experience. They lost or did not order the proper parts to secure our system. They delayed our business opening and made one excuse after the other as to why the system was not installed properly. The bill was thousands more than originally agreed upon. The gentleman who was our contact left the company and no one notified us, so we continued to try to contact him for months. No one returned calls. Then we had a false fire alarm issue, only to find out the maintenance agreement was never implemented. Vector sent 2 gentlemen to meet with me to try to resolve things. They took the bill from the local fire company, only to find out that it was never paid as promised. I choose Vector and have not had one positive experience with them in almost 2 years.

I have been with Vector for approximately 2.5 years and have about 6 months remaining left of a 3 year contract. Vector was recommended by our Pastor but I must say the experience with Vector has been one of the worst customer service and caring companies that I have ever done business with. My dad was recently diagnosed with cancer causing us to move so that we can provide care and after being told that the final bill would be discounted due to circumstances, all of a sudden, no one knows anything. Understanding that I was on a 3 year contract, I was in hope that Vector would apply empathy to the situation and stay true to their word. This would have made us want to return at a later time and also provide recommendations to others. Obviously, the feedback shows that did not happen, the company was more worried about a little over $400 than a good reputation. Very sad and will never recommend or request service from Vector again.

We've have been using Vector Security since 2016. We recently upgraded two security cameras and doorbell. Excellent customer service. We had an issue last week cause we changed our wifi password. The lady who helped us over the phone spent 45 minutes to help us solve our problem. She was very patient with and walked us through it. Highly recommend Vector Security.

My builder and I meet with Kevin ** today to go over the final inspection of the installation. Kevin was vary pleasant and took the time to go over the system. Installation went very well. Nick was attentive to my concerns. He explained the process and his recommendations aligned with what I needed. When confronted with an installation challenge, he provided me with appropriate recommendations to resolve the issue. I have Vector Security at my other store. When I purchased this store, it already had a vector system in place. Nick was very polite and professional. He did not waste no time starting the work on my alarm system and cameras. He changed all batteries in each device which Nick told me the system was installed 3 years ago. Glad he was attentive and took his time to test and program everything and made sure this store was attached to my vector app.

Overall great experience with customer service. Adam was great! A little miscommunication with scheduling partly my fault but also partly theirs, never received a call back after leaving a message to reschedule installation and upgrade. Other than that I could say that the overall experience was great. A bit disappointed that I didn’t recognize that the smart doorbell wouldn’t work but I’ll have that put in at a later date.

We have been Vector customers since 2001. When our system recently kept beeping and giving us error messages, we tried fixing it by unplugging to reboot, but with no luck. Frank saved the day! I was really impressed by his knowledge and ability to pinpoint the issue. When the most logical fix didn’t work, he quickly tried several other things and finally discovered the issue. Thank you!!

Nicholas was a great technician. Nicholas arrived on time at my home. He explained the work he had to perform and got busy. Nicholas installed everything clean and was neat with his work. He cleaned up behind himself and was careful of drilling to run my camera wire in my closet. Nicholas was friendly, personable, professional and made sure I understood how to operate the alarm panel and the App on my phone. I would recommend Nicholas to anyone that needs an alarm system and cameras and I am pleased with Vector Security.

Service call scheduled for 1-4. Received call around 12:45 and technician was at my house at 1:00. Happy I did not have to wait around all afternoon. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and explained everything to me. Issue was resolved easily and he checked batteries and cleaned other smoke detectors. $35 is so inexpensive for any service call from anyone. Great business, great service and customer friendly! My technician, Dale, was awesome!

Constant, incessant notifications (beeps) of sensor loss, loss of relay, some unknown picture of an antenna, tamper alerts, etc. When we try to turn off the notification, it just starts again after 1-2 minutes, and still continues with no way to turn off the sound. While Vector waived the service fee for the last service call, I find it insulting that I am supposed to either pay for a service call or for a maintenance agreement so that Vector sensors operate the way they are advertised without ongoing, obnoxious and unstoppable notifications (beeps plus automated phone calls to tell me that my system is beeping). Also - you have to notify them 30 days advance to cancel - why? So they can charge you for another month.

Updated security system and new CO2 detectors were installed after recent move to the area. Service was timely, reasonably priced, and completely thorough. Eased my hesitation with using the app to control the system from far and near. Highly recommend Curtis for installation--very friendly and patient. I went with Vector Security for my new building because, I have worked with Ben ** my salesman and Kevin ** my installer on previous project in the past. Kevin was prompt and arrived on the time we agreed on and stay on site until the installation was completed. I was unable to stay on site, Kevin was available by phone to answer all my question. I will use Vector Security again on future projects.

I have had Vector protection since 1997 when I purchased my home. I was having trouble with the system, and they sent out Tim, the service technician, who did a complete and thorough job assessing the situation. It was determined that I needed a new upgraded system. He explained the system, and how much it was going to cost, set up the appointment, arrived on time, and install the system completely, and told me to call if there was any problems or concerns. Very professional.

I have a pitbull and never use the system. When I try to cancel they want more than $2000 to cancel. And can not cancel the contract till November 2, 2027. So I'm paying $53.74 a month for a service I don't use or need anymore. The window alarm go off from the base of the stereo. Very much a aggravation for me. The ring camera when working. Has a very long lag. The people at the door are long gone before you know they are there on your smart phone. The software is poor and we have problems keeping a connection on our smart phones.

This is the third installation I have awarded to Vector Security. I have found the system very reliable and easy to manage. When we have a problem, they fix it. The installation crew is professional and knowledgeable. I will probably use their systems in more of my properties. Compared to other systems, vector provides good value for the money.

Dave who installed my system was a true professional and explained everything, in laymen terms, as to what he was performing and the operation of the Vector Alarm System. My one (1) negative response is I continue to receive "The system was not armed" message. We did not choose Vector. They are like a timeshare that once someone gets their service, they won't stop. They sold their security to my Mother-in-law, who had dementia. It's been 3 years since she passed and probably 10 years, at least, since the service has been active. The box hasn't even been hooked up. They were sent my wife's POA year ago and also copies of the death certificate, though why they needed that if my wife has POA, is ridiculous. So, taking advantage of an elderly woman who couldn't make an informed decision, then refusing to cancel service for years, costing us thousands of dollars, shows what happens with predatory security services. If they are so first rate with their security, shouldn't they be able to notice that the system is inactive???
