My wife won this system during a raffle. We were very pleased with the system since it was installed and we still are. The problems with the system have been very little and it seems to work fine. And I would recommend Vector to anyone that asks me what system to install. The system got better with the upgrades.

Ray arrived right when he stated he would. He was able to identify we needed an upgrade on our system. He performed the task in a timely manner and explained it all throughly. We are extremely pleased with his professionalism, the job he preformed and most of all his pleasant personality. He even remember us from a previous residence where he serviced our system years ago! AJ provided great customer service. He called before his arrival and arrived timely. He checked all of the sensors, replaced batteries and made the necessary adjustments for our alarm system to work properly. Great experience and would definitely recommend Vector to family and friends.

We have been with Vector Security since 2004. The technician (Dave) was polite, friendly, and respectful. He didn’t mind putting slippers on his shoes before entering our home. He was proficient in his duties; changed the battery, checked all of the glass breaks and doors contacts.

I have had a very good experience with Vector Security. Never had a issue with doing business with the company. I currently live in Maryland and probably will be moving back but this is for my Dad & Mother’s house. I enjoyed speaking with Clifton, who definitely displayed a lot of patience with working on my alarm system. He was very professional and neat.

System upgrade 5G compatibility. Technician (Bob **) was great! Provided the service needed and was very helpful providing assistance with re-setting mobile app. Would recommend Vector to my friends and associates. There is no guarantee on motion & alarm system if someone broke your business. Vector Security doesn’t care. They want only their monthly payment. If you argue with customer service you will get rude answers. They said it’s equipments we can’t do anything.

Customer service is horrible! Cannot get any help! FAULTY System DOES NOT WORK! We have a camera that worked for maybe 6mths and they keep saying it is our internet! Even when service comes out they check our internet and say it is plenty, but as soon as they leave next day it is not working! I pay my bill monthly and this company does not stand behind their equipment. I wish we never had switched from ADT!

After speaking with several people trying to get answers to question I had concerning my camera operation I finally spoke with Tearra. She was very professional and after working with me for quite some time we resolved. I had answers to my questions. Although during some of that time we discovered that my camera system was not working. But overall Miss Tearra was wonderful, very knowledgeable and professional employee.

Service was excellent in Virginia. When I moved to Florida, I hoped for same level of service. System stopped because of hurricane. I called in for service. Office was too far from nearest service; so I finally had to give up and canceled service.

Hello, My name is Mrs. Arthurene **, and I am writing to cancel the service and request a refund of my $69.99 for the service and customer service, that I have not received. My husband passed away 20 September 2022 and while trying to manage and secure his property I called to get the cameras back up and running. I called on November 8 to update account information to have eyes on the property on account #** and paid $69.99. So, what am I paying for? 1 camera in the house was VECTOR SECURITY camera and there are no sensors in the house and no glass break alarms, nothing protecting the house. The technician stated that the 7 of the 8 cameras placed in and out of the house are not VECTOR SECURITY cameras and are not wire to the alarm system.
During the visit the technician managed to get the one camera up and running but after the technician left the property, I tested the camera, it was not working, and I could not communicate with anyone at the office. The 4 doors and 1 camera in the house was wired to the VECTOR SECURITY system. The technician who stated his name was "Mike" came to the property at ** on Monday November 14, 2022 and he basically lied to me about receiving a phone call from management to fix the issues. The technician who is from the local VECTOR SECURITY office stated person who did the work at the house was fired for pocketing money, but that is not my issue. The company is avoiding me and did not volunteer to fix the injustice of overcharging and not supplying real service of cameras and sensors throughout the property. I want to cancel this!! April ** is the best service associate at your organization. I have been dealing with an annoying smoke detector for the last two weeks and most of your associates are so quick to just transfer the call and let someone else handle the issue. April took the time to understand the issue I was facing, helped offer potential solutions, and gave me her direct number in case the issue persisted. I have called Vector at least 6 times in the past two weeks, and April was the only polite and helpful associate. If my review was just for April it would be 5 stars. Unfortunately I dealt with so many other associates that just passed the buck to the next person and provided no support. Without April’s assistance, I would give Vector’s service department 0 stars because they provided 0 assistance. I would love to speak with April’s manager to express my gratitude for the service that she provided.

Technician here on time, very professional, communicated effectively, respectful of our property and time. Extremely knowledgeable, prompt. Smooth installation and explained in detail, left no question unanswered. Took work to remove old sensors and even took out old system's panel. Was able to allow us to be able to continue to do what we had to do while he was here working, both inside and out the house

Torrence ** (Customer Care Tech Support) was amazing and helpful in resolving my issues with my camera and video recordings. He spoke up for me and explained my frustration to Alarm.com and was definitely my advocate in getting this issue resolved. This was Torrence calling me back multiple times over 2-3 days until he knew for sure my issues were resolved. I cannot tell you the last time I worked with someone who actually cared and was so helpful with any company. I was given an estimate for hooking up a pre-existing camera system for $2759. When the techs came out, they did not have to run any wire because it was already there and pulled into the office. Our program recorder we had previously purchased from you was compatible with the cameras in the new facility, and we already had the phone app because we are already customers. Because of that we cost was reduced to 2314. $114 for the power supply and $2200 for one day of labor. I usually don't complain, but $2200 in labor seems a bit outrageous to me. Bill has been paid, I just want to bring that to your attention.

It was a great experience. Curtis was very informative and very helpful. He is extremely professional and was very kind to our dogs and children. He worked very thoroughly, quick, efficient. When he was done he went into great detail explaining the new app and setup. He gave me detailed instructions about how to easily use the new system. AWFUL. If I could give zero stars, I would. Customer service is HORRENDOUS. We signed a 3 year contract and as soon as it is over we will be finding a new security company. Our security camera has been nonfunctional since last December. We pay to have a security camera and it does not work. We have filed multiple complaints, requested help through the app, called several different phone numbers with no response. FINALLY got ahold of someone and set up a time for them to come out to replace our camera. They called the day before and CANCELLED on us. We got it rescheduled. They told us between 4-6 pm on this particular day. It is currently 7pm as I am writing this review and NOBODY has been out to our house yet. VERY DISSATISFIED AND DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

All the batteries in my wireless devices were running low. David came out on time and changed about 25 batteries in all the devices not just the low ones. The also was a malfunction on one of my panels and he corrected that and it is now working properly. He took the time to explain things and even helped me with navigating the app so I could view my camera feed better. I am very thankful for David and his patience while I work from home. He performed his job quickly and quietly and sent a text letting me know when he was done.

This security system sold itself by priding that it was better than ADT. So we were sold. My house has been unprotected for basically the entire month of October. We put the sensitivity on the camera high, because there was a loose neighborhood dog and owner pooping on our lawn and we couldn’t seem to catch it, or rather the supposedly super high tech quality camera that they promised, wasn’t catching it. On month two of having this security system we woke up to a bunch of notifications because a spiderweb had caught onto the camera over night. By the 13th we got a notification about running out of space. So we quickly went and deleted videos. But we noticed that we were no longer getting notified of people walking past our lawn, or even deliveries in front of our doorbell.
When I called to trouble shoot this, I was told that we had a certain amount of clips allowed per month, and that since we had surpassed that, (spiderweb's fault) we were still penalized, and we would not be getting anymore notifications until the 1st of the following month. So basically someone could walk into my backyard or a package can be delivered and I would have no idea. Why am I paying for this service to protect my home and put cameras if they are useless for most of the month? The only solution I was given? Purchase more space. We cannot wait for our contract to be over and we regret trusting them with our home and safety.

On time for the start of the installation window. Took care to best hide the power supply lines to the three new external video cameras which needed to come into the house (through a 1 foot think old brick exterior wall) and then plugged in inside the house. Also, a very friendly installation person!

Curtis explained a valuable upgrade option for a new control panel. He was courteous and worked efficiently. He was also very polite. He helped me set up the app and users on my cell phone. I had an appointment for a scheduled service between 8 and 10 AM today. No one showed up. I tried calling four different extensions including service installation, billing and sales and could not talk to a human being. I am also told that I was to be charged a $10 "fuel" charge for them coming to my house to inspect and change your battery. I already pay a monthly fee. I still have motion detectors which I could never use in my house even though I told him I had three cats and I was told that would not be a problem.

This is the second service call he has made to our residence. Although he was here for a separate reason, I initiated inquiries on an outdoor camera. Hello my name is Robert and I’ve been a Vector Security customer for some time now. I’ve never really had any issues with Vector Security. I had a dead battery in my door lock and the technician came out and change the batteries, sold my wife on these cameras. As I told the technician Clifton that he won’t be out here if it wasn’t for that but I have to say that I am happy that we now have them. Actually I choose the previous owner Night Watch Security. My niece was employed by Night Watch Security and they had a promotion to get free monitoring equipment and I only had to pay for the monthly monitoring service. Thus far Vector security has been great. They call me when the alarm goes off so I know they are monitoring my home. They let me know when my battery is low even though the equipment makes annoying beeping. I have not had a break-in since before I had the system installed. I did have to get new equipment because the hot water hose bursted and damaged the main console.
My most current interaction with a Vector technician was very pleasant and quick. He installed new batteries and replaced a damaged sensor. It took me longer to get to this survey than for the technician Will ** to complete his job. Also, the customer care representatives were very pleasant once I got connected. My overall experience was pleasant.

Absolute scam artists. Was told when I installed this system I could cancel if/when I moved. I was active duty military when we purchased our home and bought this security system so my would would feel safe when I wasn’t home. When we sold, I was told it would cost 550 dollars to cancel my contract. I saved up the money to cancel the services, and called back when I had the funds and they old me the new total was 1750. Terrible customer service. Absolutely do not recommend to anyone.

I called Vector because my doorbell was not working properly. I called in June, 2022 and did not get an appointment until September 9, 2022. After the technician came to my house. I received a bill for $10.00 for gas. This is ridiculous. If I knew that I would have been charged anything outside of my bill that I pay monthly. I would have not signed with Vector. I'm so disappointed and will be contacting the CEO.

The equipment itself is great. Very affordable and easy to use. The customer service is a very different story. I can never speak to a live person, and no matter what number I call, it always transfers me back to the same voicemail. I initially rated the update as a five. Unfortunately, we had to have service/install back 4 times to finally replace a bad circuit board and secondary panel that was installed incorrectly. Although the service techs were extremely polite, we were inconvenienced by having to have 4 service calls to finally get the system fully functional over one month. I contacted our salesman, who only referred me to the service phone number offering no assistance. I asked to speak to a manager and have yet to get a call back. Beware that they are using a new tech that they have yet to master.

The service technician Bill was extremely professional, courteous, pleasant and very thorough. He changed all of the necessary batteries and made sure everything was working properly. Bill was totally non-disruptive. So far we've been satisfied with our service with VS and would highly recommend this company to anyone. We've been in this house for nearly 25 years which had Security Associates as its alarm co which was then acquired/merged with VS. We went thru lots of hiccups and lots of service appointments with Jerry when we upgraded our system which was very frustrating but once the system was straightened out all as been good; we hope it continues this way. We've had Vector for 26 years. Service was fine. The only reason we're cancelling is that our old system has failed and we have concluded that it is more trouble than it is worth (false alarms, etc over the years). We've decided to not replace it and thus don't need the service anymore. If we change our mind and again want service, Vector is our first choice. Thanks.

The billing department doesn't know what the right hand or left hand is doing. An input error was made but couldn't be justified in a way that made sense by representative nor by supervisor. The end result the current payment was deducted from my account but not the past due amount!!! Which did not make sense As I was told don't let the bill get 120 days behind. I am ready to close my account and find another company to protect me and my family home. This is the third time having a billing issue and 3 strikes they are OUT...

I had an average experience with Vector Security. I was under the impression that we were getting touch screen keypads, but they installed push button keypads. When I inquired about this to our salesperson, he was short and defensive. I was not present on the day the cameras were installed and have been trying to get someone to return to show me how to set up the app on my phone. I will likely not recommend Vector in the future.

We have been protected by Vector Security for many years. Recently, we disconnected our landline which cancelled our monitoring. We decided to update our system to continue uninterrupted service. Curtis is our installer. I can honestly say that I have never been more satisfied than now. He installed the new system and explained it to us. I chose Vector because when I was researching, Vinh **, my local contact, took the time to answer all of my questions without trying to make me pay fees even before signing a contract (yes that happened with a competitor). He is extremely professional as was every technician I interacted with both in person and by phone. Because I am moving to a state that Vector does not serve, I cannot bring my contract with me and will have to find a new security company. This is the only time I have been disappointed by them! Maybe they will take a hint and expand their service area.

We are existing Vector customers. This was for an upgrade to 5G. Technician was fantastic. The installation went perfectly. The only hitch was that there is no instruction manual. This is a complex system and there's no way we can remember all of the technician's instructions going forward. Unfortunately, going forward it'll have to be trial and error.

We were thrilled with both Ben and Kevin! Ben worked with us to design our system to meet our needs. Kevin detailed every aspect of our installation prior to installing anything. Ongoing Customer. Vector is my Home Security System provider. They informed me that my system needed an upgrade in order to continue to operate properly. I took them at their word. The Company sent the Contract Information via email for me to review. I was a little taken back that Vectors is liable for very little, only 1000 even in situations resulting in loss of life - Disturbing!

Bob was a great technician. He arrived just as I talked to the office wondering where he was. He was able to tell me what was the issue and where the device was with the low battery. Justin was here to upgrade my cell unit. I felt bad because He was in the attic on a very hot day to do the upgrade. When I said that to him he replied “it’s all part of my job“ and that he was there to make sure my system is working correctly to keep us safe. He was so very friendly and we chatted about dogs, I have 2 dogs and he was kind to pet them, he was on the ground playing with them and giving her belly scratches (her favorite). I would definitely request him for any future appointments (so would my dogs).

We had false alarms on our motion detector while we were on vacation. Service technician Justin H came and evaluated the position and determined that the motion was installed pointed at a window and suggested that we relocate the motion sensor to rule out that being the cause of alarm and He also replaced the part in case it was bad and then replaced all of our batteries. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommended Justin for your technician.

I have been using Vector Security for 20+ years and have always received great service. Recently, I dropped my remote key fob and needed to have it replaced. After setting up my appointed, the technician came out to program and replace it. His name was Rigel. From the moment he met me at the door, his warm friendly greeting made me feel comfortable to welcome him into my home. He was knowledgeable and quick to get the new key fob programmed to my current alarm system. He made sure to explain what he did and explained the functions of the new fob. I received a letter saying I was past due $119.00 for something other than my monthly payment which is on auto charge to my checking account. The charge was for upgrading something in to controller box because my door lock kept giving the notice the battery was low. I changed the batteries twice but still got the low battery message which led to the replacement parts. Loretta ** Was excellent on the call. Bob showed up to replace the front door bell with the latest technology. He was very knowledgeable of the product and explained all the new features to my wife and I. This was a great experience for us and believe this new doorbell will help in keeping our house secure. Great job Bob.

Awful service. The ring doorbell hardly ever works. Will pick up the movement from the sun shining but won’t pick up the movement of an actual person. Takes forever to load the doorbell camera. Alarm goes off randomly. Horrible customer service. Gonna have to pay the rest of the contract just to get out of this ** contract. Will NEVER use Vector again and I’ll never recommend this to people I know. I’d be doing them a disservice to recommend an awful service.

Emergency service is non-existent. Been a customer for probably 15 years and first time I need help on a weekend and it takes over 30 minutes to get to a real person and they are just an answering service. Not acceptable.
