Interaction with Staff members was always pleasant and fairly straightforward. Never needed in home service. Had some alarm calls while cooking since smoke alarm was near the kitchen and operators were very good. I have just decided to go in a different direction since I've retired.

I chose Vector after reading reviews and having a rep visit with me. Each time I have experienced an issue I call the young lady who was my original salesperson. If there were an issue with a service person, I would contact her directly. (This has been an issue several times which was rectified when reported.) I feel comfortable paying the monthly monitoring fee because I have received calls with alerts while I am in the house and unaware of any activity. This reassures me that someone is on guard. Until the services decline and not addressed, I will continue using Vector. (AJ has serviced my system most of the time and has been excellent.)

I needed to get the information to change the code to my Mother's security system. Kelly ** helped me with this. She sent me the directions to do this and when we screwed it up, she was patient and so very helpful, all with a smile. She is a Great asset to Vector Security. I wish all customer service experiences were like they are at Vector. Thanks to Kelly.

Good reliable company. Has always been responsive. Service is good. The two technicians that upgraded my system were knowledgeable, courteous and easy to communicate with. Pricing is reasonable. No issues or problems over the last sixteen years of service.

Spoke with Samantha. She did her best to satisfy my needs. However, the requests for service in the past was ignored. I requested a service call about 3 years ago. The cover on the main box came off. No contact from Vector. I had a service call at home about 2 years ago replacing a battery and the man said he would have someone contact me. Never happened. When I received a letter requesting more money, I called. I think Samantha will see that the problem will finally be corrected.

I have heard wonderful things about Vector so I decided to get rid of my ADT system. Jon was a wonderful installer and explained the system well. He also showed me how to change my door lock code. I am very happy with my install and he was very understanding about my obnoxiously loud dogs.

I had previously called in January and someone was supposed to call me back with information and never did. I got a past due bill so I called again. I talked to Nichole **. She was extremely professional and helpful. She got me the information that I needed to see that I did owe what my bill said that I owed. She went through it with me and provided me an account detail showing all charges and my payments. I have contact with many companies and it is now common that no one wants to be nice or helpful or provide customer service. So dealing with Nichole was very pleasant and a nice change from what I have been seeing.

Ed was very nice to work with. He showed up on time and was very polite while installing the equipment. He was personable and nice to my customers as they came in throughout the business day. We decided to do away with our landline telephone service. Was displeased with Guardian when I called about upgrading to Cellular for communications, the representative was very nasty and not helping. We have Vector at work so we called and had a very pleasant experience with the sales representative. We decided to make the switch. The installation technician Greg was very efficient and helpful. He had us up and running in no time at all. We are very happy we called Vector Security.

System was in house when we bought it. We were still very happy with the service we received when we need some attention. We would have no problem recommending to a friend or family members. We chose Vector more than 20 years ago because it seemed like an effective service for a reasonable price. Since then, we have moved to a new house and have the system reinstalled and expanded. Service techs have been excellent and monitoring service has been prompt and reliable.

Today Chris came to my building at ** Street to do the inspection, to start I was very impressed with his phone calls to me before he was on site and his friendly presence while on site. He arrived to the minute that he was scheduled to be there. Chris explained everything he was doing and how it was going to flow throughout the testing process, during the test he also was telling me the other services your company offers I.E.: Cameras and such. He was neat and professional. I give a five star satisfaction with this service call. I could not have asked for better! Thanks Chris and Vector Security for a great customer experience.

This was a reinstall moving our equipment from old office to new office almost an hour away. Staff were very courteous and respectful. I appreciated them cleaning up after themselves. They even asked if they could use our vacuum. Great job.

System installed in early 2003, upgraded 2014, works fine, very pleased. Upgrade was done to install additional sensors for fire in 2nd floor and basement. New panel does change with time changes, which the older one did not do. We also upgraded to wireless, but response time seems longer; however we have not had an actual break-in and hope to never have one.

I decided to get internet. So I had to change telephone services. I contacted Frank to see if I needed to do anything with my current system. He recommended that I upgrade and use cellular to transmit my alarms. The technician, Greg, was very helpful. He was very quick and efficient with the installation. He was so very patient when it came time to learn how to use the new system. He left very clear instruction and I am confident that this was a very good decision. The technician Evan was very good and efficient at diagnosing our issue. The wireless devices in the front of our shop were not working properly. I was told that it was a range issue that the panel might be too far away from the devices. He came in and put a repeater device in to help get signal to those devices. I was very pleased with his work and he did an overall good job.

I am happy to say that Vector has met all our needs and requests with great professionalism and dependability. I have recently made an upgrade to our (Fire alarm system and monitoring) system consisting of a radio backup signal to cover our protection when our phones are out. I called on a Friday and by Monday afternoon I had a quote. Dealing with Gayle ** who is their commercial representative is always a pleasure and her interaction with the residents at our health care facility is always a highlight of their day. Three of our smoke detector sensors were running low and the main pad was beeping and the smoke detectors are chirping. I called Steven to see what we could do and he was very professional and kind on the phone. He definitely walked me through the process on what should be done and he actually took the time to go over the keypad with me. It was frustrating for me and he spoke to me with extreme respect which helped calm me down. We definitely love Vector and plan on staying with your company because of the great service we get!! We have been Vector members for almost 10 years. From the time we moved into this new home. We recently changed our home telephone set-up which required a different way of configuring our home security set-up. So we had an appointment with Traci this week to see what was now available and decide how to proceed.
So I'm writing for two reasons. The first is to say how satisfied we've been with Vector over this last decade. In addition to the security provided by a modest but adequate system, anytime we've had to contact Vector or have a service call everyone we've dealt with has been friendly, professional, and very helpful. Whether on the phone or in person when they've had to come to the house. Those times when something happened that could have been an emergency - fortunately we've not had any real ones - Vector has been right there for us.
The second reason for writing is share what a pleasant experience the upgrade visit with Traci was. It was good to learn all of the new approaches to security available without any feeling that we were being pressured into something we didn't need or want to - but could certainly do if we chose. Traci was extremely knowledgeable and personable. And we were able to decide on the upgrade, order, and schedule the installation on the spot. We would welcome Traci any time we have a need. She also made us feel valued as long-term customers. For both these reasons, our long-term experience with Vector and our recent upgrade visit, we will enthusiastically speak well of and recommend Vector as a security provider of choice to anyone.

Darren came out to figure out why our alarm was going off and not only found out that the front motion sensor was bad but someone had used the master code and somehow created or actives an incorrect partition. This will save us valuable time at work not having to deal with these false alarms. We are all very happy with the outcome and the service he has provided.

I recently had contact with Autumn ** regarding adding security cameras to my existing account. However, after reviewing the information we have made a determination to just fulfill our contract (ending in September 2017) and go with another company that has a better line of camera and a better monthly rate overall to include the additional equipment.

Tech Don ** arrived on time, installed my new upgraded system, gave me and my wife a thorough demo, showed us both how to use the system and downloaded the apps for easier use of the system to our mobile phone. Communication error on Vector Security Panel. Vector told me to contact service provider to have security phone line checked. I did, and they did find a problem with the line at the vault, fixed the problem and dial tone was reestablished. I contacted Vector and they reset the system, and error code disappeared.

The telephone operator was the rudest, non caring, nastiest, person that I have encountered in quite some time... The customer service representative was rude and cold. Hopefully they are not a reflection of the rest of your company. Only time will tell...

Of all the people I dealt with at Vector the only one that was of any help was Jessica (don't know last name @800-458-7194 ext **). I started calling in Jan of this year and hopefully my situation is resolved today 3/8/17. I called 3 times today to Jessica, was put on hold to be answered in order. All 3 times after 7-8 minutes of bs sales pitches and terrible music a robot came on and said "goodbye" and cut me off. I have dealt with banks and credit card companies etc and never had the kind of service I received from Vector. We have been a client of Vector for 20 years. If it hadn't been for Jessica we would NOT be clients for 21 years.

Vector makes you sign a long term contract then when you have problems and you will, hard to get service. We had constant problems. Days to call back to schedule service. Had to have disconnected to stop beeping so we could sleep at night. Charge more to get out of contract than contract was worth! Call someone else!!!

I wanted to send you a note to commend a tech that has helped us with our z-wave thermostat issues. We are in the Philadelphia area, and have had multiple and complicated issues regarding our wireless thermostats/system not working with the main system. After many problems, and no solutions, a tech by the name of Fred ** came out. He worked extremely hard at what proved to be a hard issue to resolve. It was through his hard work, professionalism, and customer service in solving this issue that kept us on board with Vector and now certainly recommend to others. It is with great disappointment I have to say that Vector Security has failed to live up to my expectations in customer service. I have been a customer for about 13 years now (10 at old home and 3 at new home) and recently had requested quotes for external surveillance. The sales person came and discussed and left promising a follow up email. No emails for a week till now, despite calls to them. Also I was not informed that contract gets renewed for a year after the 3 year expiration (at new home) - this is classic business tactic to latch on to customers. And now you have also hiked up your fees by $1.50 and we cannot do much till the contract expires. Let me tell you, I'm definitely shopping around for other service providers as Vector Security seems to take their long time customers for granted. Totally Unacceptable.

I really love the interactive app. I can tell when my system is armed and disarmed. I can view system status at the touch of a button as well as control lights and thermostat. I get notifications when anything occurs. Highly recommended.

Home warranty service GL homes for new home. Mark the service technician was an outstanding service representative. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and courteous. He is an asset to Vector Security as an employee. Mark had to run a complete telephone wire from the junction box all the way back to the master bedroom on a hot attic.

We got new phones and previously had our Vector apps set for a remember me login. When we got our new phones we had to re-login and could not remember our password/also got a new email so we could not get on our app. Staff was very helpful in getting this fixed for us. I choose Vector Security based off of a referral from fellow business partner. We had Janine ** come out and give us an estimate on site and once quoted she came back with a higher number after going back to her manager saying based on the size. We still decided to go with Vector and the day of install when the installers came out we spent awhile showing them and then was told that they could not do the work for the price we paid. They said they could not honor the contract. I called our representative and she told me it would be $4,500 more for your company to do the work. I have never had a company not honor their contract. This is a terrible business practice and I would never recommend your company to anyone.

Very good experience, done by friendly, experienced professionals. I have Vector before but the original system in the house was over 15 years old, so I decided to upgrade the system. Its sales came to my house and gave me a proposal on how we could update and expand the system to give me more coverage. Evan was great and handled all the work and my questions in a professional manner. He was very pleasant and I was very comfortable having him in my home. I went with Vector because the person who had installed my system was previously with another company and had switched to Vector. He convinced me to change. I had a low battery alarm so I called to let them know that I was going to change the battery in my smoke detector. The young lady on the phone said that she saw the back door alarm. That's when we notice a problem with zone 06. She informed me that a tech need to come out and check my system; then transferred me to the scheduling person. Both of your employees did an outstanding job. When the tech arrived on time, he immediately explained what he was going to do and did his job quick and efficiently. He was neat, polite and knowledgeable. He informed me that if a low battery or I had any other issues with the system please call and someone come out to take care of my problem, then thanked me for choosing Vector. And I am sure glad I did! WHAT A GREAT GROUP OF EMPLOYEES!!!

Roger ** is a highly respected specialist whom I have known over 14 years. He sold me my previous system and now this upgraded system that features upgraded touch panels, app for phone or tablet or computer, and fobs as well as HD video cameras with cloud recording. Over the years I have had no problems with Vector's security system. It is maintenance-free and now wireless. The company is highly reliable -- their monitoring department is lightning-quick in response times. I have had their system for over 14 years. Roger ** is extremely knowledgeable and skilled at explaining how workable and efficient this system is. The value is incredible for the system's features and the monitoring services.
I would highly recommend this company and their services to anyone who wants to change home security services or obtain new home security service. Peace of mind is knowing my home is safe from fire and burglary through monitoring. The value is incredible. The system is extremely affordable - pricing is extremely competitive.

Due to my incompetence (ha!), I had to schedule a service call to correct my smoke alarm. Evan was on time, courteous, informative and quite personable. He made me feel very comfortable and was accommodate when I mentioned I had to work. He explained the number of convenient options available to update my system without sounding pushy yet made me aware of the many luxuries to updating the system. Install went well with little issue. The field staff were great and handled things very well in spite of having to work around 2 nosy dogs. Everything checked out good. Chris ** (our sales rep) was very thorough and worked thru everything with us before the install.

The technician sent to install the components was really good. He did not however bring batteries to replace in all my sensors. When I signed up with Vector I was to receive a Vector panel, new CO detector and new batteries in all monitor points. I rearranged my Saturday and now I am forced to rearrange another weekend because according to the scheduler, the total number of batteries was not listed. This was very annoying since it was recorded when I signed up how many components I had.

The sales representative was very thorough and convinced us that the Vector Security System would satisfy our needs. The service representative was friendly and identified the problem very quickly. I have been paying for services for a vacant home since July 2016. The representative for very apologetic for the misinformation I was given last year. She listened to me. I had a system that failed because of a bad storm that lead to power failures. There was difficulty of troubleshooting by my employees because I am an off site owner. Vector came out the same day and fixed the system and got it up and running in a timely fashion.

Choose Vector through referral. Great staff. I am only trying to change a password that I have forgotten. I do respect the fact that my password was not revealed to me. Security is implemented not only through an alarm system but among the company confidentiality.

We are a tenant in a business building so the service was selected by our landlord so I can't directly speak to the value, though knowing our landlord it would have to be a perceived good value or he would not have contacted Vector. The technicians have been very professional during installation and there has been no disruption to the normal office flow - we hardly know they are here. The individuals have been extremely professional as they work, and also very much so in their communication. We have been kept updated on all aspects of the work and they have clearly explained how to use the new equipment.

The technology was better and the cost was a lot better than ADT. The installer did a great job, and the sales rep stayed involved with the project from start to finish. They offered a free system to our employees, which I took advantage of. Overall an excellent experience.

I have been hesitant to use my security system since it's been installed back in 2013. Vector sent out Darren to fix my system and he did so much more than that. He taught me how to use it, convinced me to buy some additional protection and also a key fob so I don't have to struggle with the panel. I am very pleased with Darren. He is very kind, knowledgeable but above all patient. He made sure that he did not leave until all my questions were answered and he gave me his card so I could call him if anything happens. We recently had an alarm at our building. Where I can not say for. Positive it was someone trying to break in. I can say there is no damage to our building because we have Vector Security. Vector Security installed with new home. This service call was to repair faulty camera. Service Technicians were outstanding. Mr. Steve ** and Mr. Chris ** were extremely professional. Explained clearly the process for repairs. There was a power outage during the repair BGE and they waited patiently for 20 minutes till power returned - they had the option to leave and return but diligently waited and completed the installation. They were both extremely pleasant and worn shoe covers to protect our carpets and cleaned up after the installation was complete. Their quality of the service exceeded my expectation and I am very pleased with the service. I hope that if I need any further service either one of these technicians will be selected for the call. I sent Brian ** an email and he resolved the problem immediately. I was very impressed. One of the cameras in my store quit functioning. That camera is probably the most important one as it tells me how busy my employees are at any given moment.

I chose Vector based on referral from my neighbors. The customer service is excellent! However, Vector prices are more than the competitors. So more incentives need to be added to gain customers and keep them. I left the company because of pricing and came back because of the customer service. I am always comparing prices with the competitor and the cameras and other equipment are overpriced! I am on a very tight budget so I don't know how long I can keep up with Vector.

Chime would not go off on one of the two systems. Vector Security installed my system two years ago; this was the first call I've had to make to them. We were able to identify the problem via the phone, which saved them a trip to my house. I am sure the problem was minor.

I had the system installed for peace of mind when I am home alone. That is what I received. I feel so secure when I turn the system on. The service has been great and everyone I have dealt with at Vector Security has been very helpful to me.

I called Vector for service of our fire alarms. Zane called in advance to let me know when he'd be at my house. He showed at the time he'd promised. He introduced himself and was courteous and professional. Zane finished replacing one fire alarm and cleaned the others. I appreciate his work, friendliness, and professionalism. My kudos to Zane and Vector.

I was in Center City Philadelphia Tuesday and received a call from Vector Security. The sensor in the living room triggered an alarm. Because I did not immediately answer my cell phone, Vector called the police (per my agreement with Vector). The Philadelphia police opened the Vector key box and entered my house. There was no evidence anyone had been in the house.
Vector sent Rudy, who is beyond words the best person to detect what went wrong! He found cob webs around the sensor. So much for my dusting abilities! Vector took care of everything for me, which is why I would highly recommend your company to everyone. I feel very protected and cared for. I would like to loudly applaud Robin, Danielle, and Pat for their exceptional telephone skills and again for Rudy who knows the business inside and out. Praise for Vector Security!!!

One of my kids locked themselves out of the house. It's a long story, but she was in a panic. I needed help so that an adult could get back into the house (my wife and I were out of town). Vector provided that help - quickly and calmly. They are great and they did everything I could have hoped. I recommend them very highly. The alarm system is easy to use and very reliable.

The technician was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in helping me change our passcode. The technician had a quick answer and followed through until the end. Phone was answered in a timely manner. Verification process was thorough. Technician was happy, articulate and polite.

Extremely poor customer service. I canceled my service on Feb 2nd but still got charged on Feb 24th. I know Vector received my request to cancel the account because I received a call on Feb 22nd referencing my letter. I had to call back on Feb 24th and wait on hold for several minutes (after being on a long hold during my initial call to cancel my account) and then I got stupid excuses as to why my account was not canceled. One excuse was that they could not cancel my account unless I told them the name of the company I am switching to. I was with your company for around 12 years. Canceling my account should not be this hard. I gave you every opportunity to match the price but it is your loss that you did not do anything about it and prompted me to cancel my service. It shouldn't have been such an unpleasant experience to just cancel my service. I am giving you 1 star because there is no option for 0 stars.

Current bill is 49.99. Was told going to be 39.99 a month. ADT offers more services for that same price. I went with Vector thinking I could save some money... yes well we learn from trial and error... Otherwise satisfied with the service I suppose.

Samantha was very nice and she said someone would call me very shortly to discuss this excessive bill for 5 min repair. I had a door replaced and our contractor couldn't get the sensor placed back on the door. I called Vector and a service person came out and put it back up. It took him about 5 minutes. A charge was not discussed at any time. I receive a bill for $85.00!! This is excessive. We have been customers for a LONG time... feels like Vector is in the business of making excessive $$ off their customers.
