I just wanted to give a 5 star to the technician, John **, that installed my cameras on Friday, 8/18/17. He was very nice, clean, and thorough, explained everything and was helpful showing me how to access on my computer and phone. He gave me a card to go to website to do a survey, but, it said there was problems with that site. I recommend that man get a raise or at-a-boy.

I left ADT because of the price. Vector price is better for my needs. They service is always stellar. The guy came today for one problem and ended up checking my entire system. I've already recommended Vector to all of my friends and family.

Vector came with the house when it was built in 2006, the problem for today's service began on 15 Aug 2017 and it took a long time to get a serviceman to the house on 22 AUG. The technician was very professional and an excellent job in diagnosing the problem which required replacement of the smoke detector. I'm very pleased with his performance.

When I moved into my house Vector Security had already had one of their alarms installed. The service technicians are always on time. When there is an alarm activation the monitoring center always calls very fast. I am very happy with Vector's service.

I like the talking feature, every time the alarm goes off they call to make sure everything is alright. My whole community has Vector. We chose Vector Security for our second home as we have had them in our primary home for over 26 years. Vector’s response to service and alarms has been very quick and professional. With this install the sales rep came out and gave us great information and we decided to use Vector at our beach home. The installer (Mike) was very proficient, cleaned up after himself when he was done, and recommended a few add-ons. Would recommend Vector to our friends and family.

About a month ago we were on vacation and we got a phone call that someone ringing the door bell at midnight. We were far away not knowing what is going out with our house. That night we decided to get a security system. We heard about Vector Security from family members that have Vector. Everyone that we came in contact with from the company have been wonderful, polite and professional. They have explained how the system works and what they have to offer. Now I can go to sleep and leave for vacation without any worries knowing that my house is secure.

We had a security system. Vector took over the old company. We have been quite satisfied and your company has been responsive when there were problems. The most problems we have had is with the batteries needing to be replaced. And the beeping noise was driving us craziest. Now we have quiet and there is no noise.

We've had some issues with our alarm due to faulty parts, but Vector is always willing to send out a service provider right away, and problems are taken care of. Steve, the service provider who has come to our house multiple times, is thorough and deliberate when he makes adjustments to our system, so we always know that we have the best for us of what Vector has to offer.

All was good with these folks until the sale was complete. After that, and after the departure of my salesman from the company, their sales department was not cooperative in assisting me in buying more equipment. Now, I cannot even get someone to return my call to provide me with a certificate showing I have the coverage. I need this for my homeowners, and their refusal to help will cost me additional premiums. Left multiple voicemails in 2 departments. Before this their service dept was satisfactory.

I am not pleased at all with your company. I too am in the client service business and when you read my details of being stood up you’re going to have to fight to keep me as a customer as your company has broken our service contract of giving any service what so ever. First, let me tell you it takes about 10- 15 minutes for a customer care rep to answer the phone. That is actually worse than Comcast. A plus is so far all your reps have been pleasant and apologetic which is a shame that they have to keep apologizing.
After calling about my cameras not working properly I was told since I upgraded my router to the new Google mesh network that only a Vector technician can come out and reprogram the system. It is amazing I was able to reprogram all my locks, thermostats and lights on the new network all by myself. My first appointment I could get was 5 days out with a time window of noon-4pm.
At 3pm I called Vector again waiting 10 mins to find out if the tech was coming. The rep verified my appointment and told me Tim (tech) would call me to let me know around what time he might arrive. At 4:30 I received a call from Mya who again was very pleasant told me the tech got held up and would need to reschedule. I let her know this was terrible service from Vector. Then she told me the first available appointment was 1 week later and wanted to give me a new window of 12-4. I let her know that was unacceptable as this is a 2nd home and I would not be in town.
After being placed on hold she came back and said she could to Friday but with the window of noon-4. I told her that the windows will not work and want a real appointment like any other normal business does or at the min a 1 hr. window. Mya did offer that the tech Bob (branch manager tech) would call me when he was on his way out. Again that would not work with me as I would once again be held hostage to the house waiting for a phone call to tell me I need to get back to my house... Mya said she would put a request in to be first call but couldn't guarantee it.

We have had our Vector Security system for years and love it. We recently added several windows and smoke detectors. The process was super easy from the sales department to the installation department. The installer that came out was on time and he did his work quickly and cleaned up the little mess that he did make.

Vector security has historically provided excellent service for our security systems. We were experiencing malfunctions with a motion sector which could have inadvertently allowed access by unauthorized individuals to a secured, sensitive area. Ray was on site a few minutes and had determined the issue and posted 2 potential solutions. Very pleased with service.

Vector Security had the best installation prices, and when comparing apples to apples the best monthly pricing. Rick my sales person was great. The installation person showed up on time and did a very timely and neat installation. The installation tech was very patient with all the chaos in my home on the day of installation.

The sensor was missing. When I had the basement renovated they removed it. So the service technician helped me by replacing it. This was well done, thanks so much. The system was here when I moved in so I just kept it.

Had Vector in the previous house so we stayed with you. Service today was prompt, the tech arrived on time and had the new battery in in five minutes, then checked the entire system. I was very satisfied with this visit and won't hesitate to call if there is any other problem.

I am not satisfied with the central vac installation in my new house. There seems to be an issue with the power head, as observed by Bob from Vector in late July when he was at my house for security camera installation. The vac digs into the rug when being pushed forward. Bob said he'd look into it, then so did Chris ** from Vector a week ago, but no one has gotten back to me yet. As it stands, I've invested $4.4k in a central vac installation that I can't use on my rugs, only on my hardwood. Not Happy at all!

Vector Security is the system for our complex, and we had it activated in our house in April when we moved in. I called today to receive a certificate of central station monitoring for our records and insurance. Agata ** helped us to get our system registered with a permit from the Palm Beach Sheriff's office. When we emailed her the confirmation she promptly sent the certificate. She was excellent in her help.

We had a new control module installed yesterday that enables us to partition the basement. Ken ** was the salesperson and he was excellent, as always. The gentleman who did the installation has worked on our house previously and he also was lovely. He's friendly trustworthy and knows the practicalities of security systems so his design suggestions are good. He also supervised the installation - walls were open do. I contacted customer service for a form for home insurance for alarm verification. I was also informed on a request for system test. I was also able to add/delete updated information on emergency contacts and residence access. The customer service was excellent and updated my information along with a system test that needed to be completed since alarm was installed about 10 years ago.

In May 2014 I signed up for Vector security for my home at **! I have been pleased with you all! Then in May 2017 I called and told them I was moving and wanted to discontinue my service by the end of May! They said ok, my payments are auto draft so I knew I didn't owe anything! The device was got off that month! They have still continued to take out $46.45 each month even as late as yesterday! I have called, NO ONE has bothered to return my messages! I finally called hung up and called continuously the other day and I FINALLY got to talk with a man who put me in contact with a Shelby! NOW SHE TELLS ME IT HAS TO BE to be in writing before they can cancel my service!!! My service was cancelled in May! The only service I have with you is you are taking $46.45 out of my account each month!
We are on a fixed income and I need HELP! We will be returning to NC at the end of the year and I was going to get service back again, but if this situation is NOT resolved I will NEVER AGAIN have Vector Security! They owe me $139.35, I've prayed about this and I know in my heart I am right! Will you please help me? You may contact me at anytime on my cell phone listed! Thank you so much!

I started talking to Marcey from AVSX in early March, probably earlier, about installing cameras with sound in our office. I never got anywhere with her and in mid-March, I called AVSX again and finally got an appointment for someone to come out. It has been a very exhausting experience since. A few examples, I did not get any courtesy calls when they were going to be 3 or 4 hours late, on more than one occasion. There were no follow up calls.
When Michael was telling me how to get logged in to view the cameras and the password, there was no discretion and everyone in my office now had that information. I learned there was no sound associated with the cameras he installed even though I had requested cameras with sound. I also have holes in my wall where he had to move the camera. He brought another camera and a microphone and after drilling the holes realized that the camera and microphone were not compatible. I still do not have sound, there have been many excuses.
On a positive note and the reason, I remain a customer is Alisa **. She called me after the first attempt at installing cameras, to do a customer satisfaction survey, I am not sure because we never got to it. She promised to call me the following week when they were scheduled to return to make sure I was satisfied. She has called me and assisted me with trying to get my cameras and sound installed since.
She has given me the great customer service that I had expected from AVSX, not just the basic things you would expect when you purchase and pay for installation. She has gone above and beyond to keep me from being upset and taking my business elsewhere. We have 4 accounts with you. She has contacted AVSX many times on my behalf. Things that AVSX should have done themselves. We own two businesses and good employees are hard to find. Alisa is a diamond employee. I hope that my complete frustration with AVSX is understood and the amount of praise and gratitude for Alisa does not go unnoticed.

PROBLEM: System reporting "Front Door Doorbell" failed a remote connectivity test 7:52am 8/8/17. Have had Vector Security service for 4+ years. The end of June we had doorbell and cameras added to our service. For approximately 4 days prior to July 26th, our Vector Security system was reporting a "failed remote connectivity test." Being out of town on business, the only option we had was to call into the Vector Security for tech help. The tech said he rebooted my system to correct itself. It did for several days then failure notices started again. My wife called on August 3rd to arrange an appointment for a tech to come to fix the issue on Aug 4th or 5th when we would be back at home.
But we were scheduled to go out of town on business for a week from August 6th to 13th. Even though it was an emergency for us, and explained to the phone receptionist, she disregarded our need and request for immediate repair service so we were not given an appointment until Monday August 14th. So, we are without complete security service while we are out of town which defeats the purpose for even having security service. Our schedule for out of town business travel was set and not negotiable for not going out of town. Really disappointed in lack of response to our emergency need for security service. Seriously considering termination of service!

He explained the issue to me (faulty batteries in window sensors) and quickly replaced the batteries. He offered to discuss any upgrades we might need (we are satisfied with our set up). Vector Security installed a security system at my home in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. I am doing some work in the house and needed Vector to come back and relocate the control panel. It's certainly been a great experience. Mr. ** who came to do the work, took time at the beginning of the process and explained what was involved in relocating my system. He was knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable with the installation. I definitely recommend Vector Security to anyone who is looking for a security system.

Purpose of visit was an annual service call. Representative was very friendly and professional, also very thorough. He was sent to replace a battery due to a low battery signal. He checked all the batteries on all the smoke detectors as well as the wireless break-in detectors. No one had checked them before & they were 10 years old. All-in-all, very satisfied.

I have had Vector for almost 10 years and decided to look into upgrading my system. Had one of your installers out to my house today to install a new security system. The system that was here was about 30 or 40 years old. Your technician was very knowledgeable and knew just what to do with the old system and how to make the new system work using the older components. I am very happy that I decided to do this upgrade as I will have more feature usage available in the future.

At the time we chose Vector it was a good deal. Have not had too many problems with the equipment once it was Upgraded years ago after one of your lesser trained techs fried the CPU... But it all depends on your service technicians. Some are good, such as the one today... Chris... Some take shortcuts that cause problems later. Central sometimes takes too long to respond to an alarm... Milliseconds count! Also, why did it take so long to get online customer accounts?

Tommy ** is extremely knowledgeable about the security system. In fact, he is the most knowledgeable technician I have ever worked with on a home security system. We were not very impressed with Vector until Tommy came to help us update and learn about the system. Vector sent the original contract to an incorrect email and it took a day or so to get that corrected. Tommy has spent hours of time making sure the system works perfectly for our family. He has been out to our home twice to get everything set up for us. He provides exceptional customer service and is extremely professional.

This is about cancellation. I wanted to keep my business locally but since this system went from 2G to 4G there have been nothing but problems. I have been paying for service when the service was not working. The guy knew that I needed an antenna to go on the outside of the roof after he put a short line antenna in my attic. My roof have radium liner on it which will not allow a signal to leave my house. Not even my cell phone will work inside my house. He stated that I will lose my signal from time to time and that I needed a longer line to reach the roof. Well I guess I was to keep calling just to get a longer line.
Well I got tired of all the calling so I got a new provider. I call to cancel my service and now find out about cancellation fees but at no time have anyone stated that the service I did not have will get a refund. Sales person did not tell me about a 5 years contract, because that would have stop me before I got the service. As long as the service was working, there was no need to worry about the 5 years. Within 3 months of having this service they had to replace a sensor at a cost to me. The only thing my wife and I touch on this thing was the keypad when leaving and coming home. I paid for no service the last few months and now I have to pay till December for no service. Thanks. You guys have a great day. I will not let this take me down.

Service call from the beginning to the end was excellent. When we first called in Erica was very professional and was able to squeeze us in same day to fit our schedule. Mike was able to pinpoint the problem very quickly and got us back up and running. He also offered a maintenance agreement for any future problems we might have. I talked to Tonii about my concerns with someone entering my home while I am away. We decided to add a camera to the system and record all the time. My system was 25 years old, and I wanted the ability to monitor and set my alarm remotely. I was also concerned about the hardware starting to fail, and I did not want the alarm going off when I was out of town, leaving the alarm going off for days and annoying the neighbors.

I called your Customer Support number, waited on hold for 6+ minutes for a person to help me. When I requested that an alarm cert be provided to me, I was told that would require an in-home inspection. Seriously, I pay $41/month and you need to do an in-home inspection to confirm that you are monitoring my home??? This is a very poorly veiled sales attempt, once again, to get into my home to sell me more service. I was then told that I can access the Alarm cert online. Now the catch, I don't know my account number to register my account so I can access this certificate.
This is a huge waste of my time - thank you for your very poor customer support and experience! How about you send me the Alarm Cert via email and I won't switch alarm companies? Seems fair, right. Or call me if you need more information - **. This hit a nerve because it is the same ploy you used when I wanted to buy a second key fob... send the sales person out and waste over an hour of my time. Bad business strategy. Thanks for reading and hopefully getting a bit smarter in the customer retention area!

Very impressed with our service so far but more from our sales representative, Daryle **. He always goes the extra mile for my businesses and at my home if we need anything. When one of my shops was broken into and (the shop owner) was out of town, my second in command called Daryle immediately because he's our "alarm guy". Not only did he answer the phone in the middle of the night but he came to our place to lend a hand and see if there was anything he could do to help before we opened for business that day. I just want to say that I am very pleased with Vector’s service that they provided me today. The tech Derek came to follow in my sensor that keeps falling off. He screwed it in so it won't fall off again. He also went around to check all the rest to insure that they won't come off. He also checked all of my smoke detectors and changed all the batteries. My daughter built this home in 2006. She chose Vector Security for its reputation. She was very pleased and continue the service. She and her husband decided they'd like to live in a warmer climate and moved to South Florida. I purchased the home from my daughter so that she could buy a home in Florida. I kept Vector Security because the system works well and when we require service on the plan that my daughter chose there's no charge. Soon after purchasing this property I upgraded to the wireless convenience of being able to control the system from my iPhone. And recently I upgraded again to the VIP service.

I reached out to my rep with a concern for my smoke detectors’ age. Frank recommended that it was time to replace the smoke detectors due to their age. I requested Greg who had previously done some work in my home because he was very good. I was not surprised by his knowledge and swift efforts to get my System upgraded so quickly and in such a smooth manner. When I answered the door I was greeted by a nice gentleman, ERIC, who reviewed with me what was being installed today. He also brought Mike along with him. I showed them around the house to show them where they will be working. I'm very dissatisfied with the service with Vector. They charge me $140 for the month and it doesn't make sense why. I've tried to resolve the issue on several occasions and unsuccessful. I will be reporting Vector to the Better Business Bureau.

We have been with the Vector since it was renamed from American Alert. The service and response has been very good. The alarm system was original and installed 25 years ago by us but has been troublesome over the last few years with false alarm drops so I upgraded devices and panel to hopefully eliminate any further issues.

Tina no I are very happy with our new security system. Love the features, Iike the doorbell. I can see who is at the door when doorbell is rang. Mike did an outstanding job showing us the features, using the APP. I am very happy with our new system... Jeff the Salesman provided us with the features we needed.

Daughters are customers. Everyone we have interacted with has been excellent! From Matt the rep., to Ida from the home office, and Nick the install technician, each one were very informative, courteous, and patient in answering all of our questions. Vector Security staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They addressed all of our concerns and questions with detail and assurance. We feel very safe and confident in our new system. I would definitely recommend my technician to another family, he was extremely helpful and friendly.

Today's installation with Ian was great. Ian was professional, knowledgeable and considerate to my home. Once I open the door. Typically when service techs come to my home, I ask them to use shoe covers or remove their shoes. Ian had his shoe covers in the head and ready to work. The installation was cleaning and neat. Once he finished, he showed my wife and I how to use the system and cleared up confusion that we had about how we would be contacted by Vector.

There was a problem with a panel and sensors. It was easy to schedule an appointment, the technician arrived on time, was very professional, he fixed all settings for both security panels. The technician fixed the sensors and explained how to do the adjustments for the future.

Had to replace a door in our garage - had no idea tampering with camper would go off when alarm was not set in house - learned something new. Had to get adjustment made to new door alarm. Service performed to correct issue - very impressed with technicians service and professionalism.

We bought a new house 2 years ago. Someone did research and found that Vector could service the system that was currently in the house. So we called and set up appoint. Jay ** Is the technician that came out. He was GREAT. Very patient with our many questions. Explained everything very well. We have had him out a few more times for some adjustments and things and we will always request Jay. I even waited on extra day to get him instead of someone else. I have a family member that uses Vector now and will also always request Jay. Very Pleasant to work with him.

This is my second system with Vector Security, and I couldn't be happier. I dealt with Tony ** in advance of moving into my new home. He arranged for the technician Jay to come to my new home before we closed to evaluate my needs for the new system. The whole process was extremely easy and seamless. I have dealt with Jay plenty of times with my old home and was very happy to know that he was going to be the one installing my new system. He is very professional and extremely knowledgeable on the equipment being installed. He has always been very polite, on time, and professional. The pricing couldn't be beat! I am very satisfied with my decision to have Jay install another Vector Security system in my new home!

We chose Vector because of a referral. We found the sales reps very good, and they installed our systems well and explained everything very well. We asked them to set it up for automatic payment. We received a notification from Vector that our first payment went through successfully. I looked at my Wells Fargo account, and it had not gone through. After that, the nightmare began. I have talked with numerous people at Vector to try to resolve it. I think the wrong account information was initially input, but there wasn't any way of checking that. All information had to be deleted and re-input (many times), and it still said that my information had been deleted, and there was not any new information set up.
I had asked that Vector do this for me and was told they couldn't, and I would have to go to the website. Finally, after many failed attempts, the person I talked with today finally took the information and said that she would get it set up. I have spent hours on this. It is not only an unfriendly website, it obviously doesn't work. I would be happy to talk to your IT and explain all of its weaknesses. Worst computer experience of my life!!!! If we hadn't done this right before we left our home for 3 months, I would cancel in a heartbeat. I surely would never recommend Vector to anyone.

Technician did a great job in troubleshooting and repairing the trouble. Was on time and very professional - very satisfied with his work and technical skills. Very polite and nice to work with. Also took care of our stuff and enjoyed the dog which was very nice of him - he didn't have do that but we appreciated that. Would use him again.

I've had Vector Security since I purchased my house and decided to up my game with cameras. The clarity is AMAZING!! Technician was flawless and thoroughly explained the download options for my phone and walked through switching views as well as the option to install additional cameras.

Staff was informative and very helpful. I am very pleased with today's service and the tech who helped fix our doorbell camera. The camera had been acting up for the past few days, and because we are going away on vacation in the next few days. Vector was able to come out to our home today to help restore our service. We now have the assurance we needed to feel that our home will be safe while we are away on vacation. We greatly appreciate the speedy service that was done today.

My home I moved into has Vector Security. So far it has been a pleasant. Everyone I have talked to in the Vector Security office has been extremely nice and professional. The tech Roger was excellent very friendly. He was patient took time to fix some issues with our windows. I liked the way he walked me around showed me everything he did, just was a awesome experience. Cannot say enough good things about the tech. Again very please.

Jessica went above and beyond, got help thru a supervisor to take care of my problem regarding a bill $400 after contract had been canceled. I had spoken with two other reps prior and they couldn't help me. I have been a client for 10 years and glad that bill was voided.

Great experience in the past friendly service. Technicians are always helpful. And always knowledgeable. Their service is fast the few times we've had to use them for emergencies as well.
