Already customer had to have batteries replaced and system inspection. Prompt alarm response when system accidentally activated. Pricey but worth it. Tech was prompt and finished quickly. Offered advice when asked and asked if any questions. Overall happy. Give smaller window for service times.

We had ADT for a while and got tired of the bill going up almost every month and not getting any response when needed. Since having Vector we have only had little minors issues here and there mostly things we have forgotten. Otherwise great alarm system.

Vector renewed my service without notifying me. When I asked for some options they had me speak to no less than four different people - none of whom were empowered to make a decision. In the end I chose the service with a one year term. I am going to explore options with other companies in time for next year’s renewal.

While it sure seemed to start out kind of rocky I have to admit they react and go above and beyond to make any and all corrections both real and perceived. The installation department is unbelievable in that they work with you so closely until you are 100% satisfied. While I was concerned at the beginning I can honestly say now that I couldn't be happier and I feel so much safer.

We were impressed with the sales rep and what he had to offer. Now I’m not sure we made the correct choice. To begin with there was a screw up on installation dates and times. Now it appears the installation was not completed as advertised even after contacting the sales rep. So right now not happy at all.

The Customer service rep was so amazingly knowledgeable and patient, polite and helpful. I was frankly quite impressed. I feel very safe with Vector Security so far. There are few companies which offer acceptable customer service. The call was answered almost immediately. I was transferred right away to the appropriate department. All in all a good experience. The only complaint I have is that the invoices online are not descriptive enough. I couldn’t tell which invoice was for which service I had.

I called to set up maintenance for my system battery and was connected to Danielle. She has a kind and patient demeanor and attempted to walk me through the steps to change the battery. Since I was having problems following verbal instructions, Danielle suggested that she send an instructional video. This was very helpful. Danielle also let me know that if I continued to have issues that I could reconnect with her to get a satisfactory resolution. So, her verbal instructions along with the video helped me to resolve my issues. Thanks Danielle for your patience and assistance.

We had a problem with our system. A representative came out to our home. He was well presented, professional in appearance, communication and performance. We choose Vector 3 years ago as a personal recommendation. The service dispatch team is fast and efficient. Michael was my service tech today, and went above and beyond to repair and replace our panel and components that were needing service. Have been trying for 3 days to get up with customer service to cancel account. We sent a letter 9/15 but am being told it was not received. I can't get anyone to call me back to resolve issue. Service was fine when we were using. Cancelling as service no longer needed. Customer service though to date is terrible.

Michael was very helpful in explaining the extent of Vector's security options. This has actually made me very happy about completing my contract. I have a very old security system. I had a false alarm on a smoke detector. The technician that looked over my system recommended replacing both of my smoke detectors. I took Greg's advice, he quickly changed them and tested them accordingly. I couldn't get a tech first thing this morning when I called but before the end of the day I was all fixed up! Thank You.

I've been a customer at my current home for 7yrs. Excellent customer service, love the quick response to any issues and their friendly and knowledgeable staff. Also, the quality of the units are very good and except for Battery replacements as needed, there are not other issues.

I have a system at my home, and have been using it for over a year. I have been happy with it so I decided to use Vector in my Investment property as well. The installer was great and very quick. Affordable, very nice representative explained all the services of the security system. Very nice owner. I would certainly recommend the service to anyone. If any problems a tech would come out right away. I had a battery issue and they came out with a new one replaced the old one with no charge for the new one.

On Oct.18 2017 I had some questions related to my new security system. I called and got transferred to three different representatives, the last one being Jessica in the billing department. She was friendly and helpful and even took time find out the correct answer for me and called me back. The service she provided was surprisingly pleasant which I appreciated very much. I went with Vector due to an old system being in home when I moved in. Has been a great experience with the staff and my installer. I had a afternoon appointment originally, but the tech called and let me know that he could come early if I was available which was great! Got it done sooner and have time for other things. Vector installed our security system when we built our home 10 years ago. We use it every day and it's been a perfect solution for us. Their pricing is very competitive and their service and support are second to none. Every support engineer is incredibly knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I am typically one who would pursue a DIY solution for these things but the Vector experience has been so positive that I cannot justify trying anything else. I would, and I have, recommend Vector to anyone seeking a home security and automation solution.

I called and got prompt service when I requested and the tech called in route as requested. My service today was finished in a timely manner and the tech went above and beyond to explain the system functions and operation that I was unclear about. We did not have Internet access at the time the cameras were installed. We had to wait almost 3 months for the cable company to come and install our cable modem. At that time we rescheduled and had your technician come back out and Get our cameras on our network so now we can see our cameras.

My security system was beeping so I called for service. My appointment was scheduled for the morning but I didn't hear from anyone so I called Vector. They called me back and said they had me on the schedule for the afternoon. They called when they were coming in the afternoon. The men who came to do the service were very polite and knowledgeable. The only problem was the coordination of the time schedule.

Mike was great to work with and was very professional and efficient with his install and actually added on a couple extra devices to make sure we were protected properly in our basement. I would recommend Vector to anyone looking for an alarm system because of there overall attention to detail and ease to work with on design of our system and a quick install. Both the sales and install experience were easy & hassle free; they were very fairly priced and very friendly and easy to work with throughout the entire process. They do their own installations and monitoring and have a local office right in Gahanna! Chris ** was very knowledgeable and worked with us on a system that was conducive to our hectic lives. The Vector mobile app is a lifesaver & awesome to have!

We replaced smoke detectors and added CO detectors. Install was great. I also got doorbells video cameras. Super professional. Jeff fixed my camera system network above and beyond. He reconnected sensors on new windows. Awesome job Vector Security!!!! Great work. Will always recommend Vector.

We had already been customers with Vector since 2004. We were satisfied with service we have been receiving and decided to upgrade our system to the newer technology. During this installation we added an indoor and outdoor camera. Jeff was great to deal with and worked out a good deal for us. Mike did our initial installation when we moved into our house and we were pleased to see that he was still with the company after all these years. He is an asset to Vector and was very efficient in getting our system installed. He was very patient and thorough with us and answered all our questions.

I chose Vector Security because the Security Alarm was already in place. It was installed by Vector before I moved in. I decided to connect with Vector Security's monitoring service. Vector staff has been courteous. They call in an appropriate amount of time. And I liked the courtesy call I received from the service technician when in route.

Vector has been very comforting knowing the system is operating correctly especially when we are traveling. We have not any problems except for an occasional sensor that has gone bad. Vector was very prompt in replacing the sensor. We have recommended Vector to other individuals.

I have worked in the alarm & security industry a few years, but have never actually had a security system personally. I called Vector to come out to replace our main battery in the system. Vector has always been very helpful and got a technician out to us within a week. The technician was also very knowledgeable and gave me some excellent advice on what to do in certain situations. We are planning to do a new system in the spring and update a lot of features that we will want.

Just moved into our new house. Went to use the Alarm System and one of the doors showed open. Took us a while to figure out the issue because all our doors were closed. Had to have a technician come back to fix the issue. They rescheduled the technician. Came down and replaced a bad door sensor. Would have preferred not to have this happen but Dr. took care of it in a timely manner.

I have had a terrible experience from day one. From price increase in the first conversation to a non-existing customer service. I can't get in contact with a person. The one time that my wife got in contact with someone they were rude, unhelpful, and did absolutely nothing. My alarm has not worked at all. It sends me random emails and does not report to emergency contacts. If I am out of town what is an email to me going to do? I will never recommend Vector. I will do the opposite. I will tell people the truth and discourage them from throwing money in the garbage.

Vector saved my husband's life. He had a heart attack and passed out in our dog's water dish. I pulled him up and pushed the emergency call button and you had the rescue squad at our house in 5 minutes! I was going to cancel my service because I lost my job and I'm trying to pinch pennies until I get another job. Being a first time homeowner, there is a lot to worry and think about; even more than I could have imagined especially because it is just me. Within a week of moving into my new home I met my neighbors and they are rowdy young men who like to party. One of their parties got out of control where a fight broke out and their house was being threatened. Sharing a wall with these guys frightens me when they are making people mad enough to threaten drive-by shootings.
I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff ** at a BNI networking meeting and we got to talking about my situation. He was genuinely interested in my concerns and enthusiastic about what he does and what Vector can, and does, for so many people. He came to my house to get me a quote. It was affordable and he went out of his way to help find me any promotional rates and discounts.
Scheduling an install was so easy. They worked around my crazy unconventional schedule. The day of my installation, Malik ** and Peter ** showed up on-time, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. They gave me a walkthrough of everything that was going to take place and at every step they made sure to engage and educate me. They were impeccable with their word and professionalism. They made sure I had everything connected the way I wanted before making their exit. And to my surprise, they cleaned up after themselves (the few areas where drilling had to be done). Overall, I know in my heart that this was the best decision I have made in terms of home purchases. There is nothing like peace of mind. Thank you Vector Security for helping me protect that!!

My grandson had his security through Vector and has been very happy so I thought I would change my service from Time Warner. They changed to Spectrum and nothing works like it did before so I haven't been happy at all. Chris, our sales rep was very patient and reviewed all the options and services. I ended up choosing a couple cameras and one of them is a doorbell camera which I really love. I can access and view everything from my phone and it even saves the video clips so I can view afterwards. An all around great experience and it even ended up being less per month than Time Warner!

Approximately 11:00PM last night, my home security alarm began to sound off. I turned it off and call Vector monitoring department and requested the sheriff be sent to inspect the exterior of our home. Two deputies sheriff came and found nothing wrong. I turned the alarm back on and about one hour later, the alarm sounded off again. I turned it off again and then call Vector monitoring department to report that the system was malfunctioning. I was told that the technician on call would contact me soon to give me advice on how to stop the malfunction until a serviceman can come and do the repair. I WAITED ALL NIGHT AND THE TECHNICIAN NEVER CALLED!
I began to call Vector monitoring department this morning approximately 10:00AM to request a serviceman come and repair the malfunction, I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT FOUR DAYS (until THURSDAY) BEFORE A SERVICEMAN COULD COME AND MAKE THE REPAIR!!! I was also told again to expect a call from the technician on call. I waited all day and he did not call!
After being a Vector customer for 15 years and after recently signing a 3 year extended service agreement on July 27, 2017, I am extremely disappointed with Vector's service now, and DO HEREBY REQUEST THAT I BE ALLOWED TO CANCEL THE 3 YEAR SERVICE AGREEMENT THAT I SIGNED ON JULY 27, 2017.

I am a Security Associates customer transferred to Vector Security through an acquisition. I waited on hold for over 12 minutes when calling the dedicated customer support line for SA customers. I called because I have not received an opening/closing email since August 22, 2017. This is a paid-for service. I was then told to email commercial care to rectify the problem. It could not be handled through customer care support via phone. This is unacceptable - poor service, poor customer service, inability to resolve an issue with a representative.

I had 4 sensors replaced when I had my windows replaced. I had the system reset after an alarm and checked out by the Tech. He came early/on-time. Pleasant to work with. We can call and get service and have a full system inspection with our service plan. This is very reassuring since we are elderly and need to know everything is in good working order.

Vector Security provides alarm services in the Canyon Springs community in which we live. We moved in about two months ago and so far our experience has been great. Perrault installed our system and then later added 7 or so glass break wireless devices and a motion detector or two. He was great! Just recently, I worked with Agata ** to obtain evidence of Central Monitoring for my homeowner's insurance coverage. She was excellent all around. Vector has been our security provider for 15 yrs and we have been VERY HAPPY with the monitoring service. Our system was beginning to age and needed to be updated. So it was a no brainer to have Vector meet our needs this time as they had done in the past. We opted for surveillance cameras, and remote control of the system in our home. I cannot express on how amazing the installation crew performed. Respectful, professional and sensitive to my family. Peter and Darius demonstrate excellence in customer service and Vector should be proud to have them as representatives.
Many times the salesperson is accommodating and professional and when it comes to the technicians that visit the home it is a very different story. I felt completely at ease, left them in my home as I had an appointment and I had no concerns, They took care to be sure we were happy with the camera views/angles and the quality of the picture was so much better than we anticipated. Overall a 15 on a scale of 1 to 10!!! Our salesperson Roger who took so much time to really uncover our needs beyond our wants was excellent!!! Thank you Vector!

The chime feature in the store was too quiet and when we were in the office we did not know when someone came into the store. We spoke with a rep and he said that he could have a chime module added. My service was excellent! They have done more than I expected. I had a problem with rain on the censors constantly setting off the censors as they were not placed properly originally. James and Michael took the extra time to fix each window censor for me to prevent future issues and they were professional, on time, kind and enjoyable, and very knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. I really like the company. Today the guy came to replace the battery in the system. When he walked up to my house, he saw me in a heated conversation with some guys that were trying to scam me into doing some roof work. Just the look at the security guy scared them away. The local team from VECTOR SECURITY has contacted me. They sent a technician out to review the system and they figured out how to add in the two zones from the new garage. Vector is resolving all issues with me and with my system. The result will be my same panel supporting everything. I will sign up up for another three years.

I was swayed by a Vector Software slick sales guy for a whole home security system. The installation seemed ok until I kept getting the system cutting offline constantly. They fixed it by changing to another brand of panel. The batteries were failing and I discovered they were putting older used parts in my house. Before I go any further, it's been 2 years now. I am stuck with a 3 year contract. I asked for a review and I found out that my downstairs SMOKE detector was not programmed for the fire dept. They had it set up as a GLASS BREAK!!! We are in a 7 minute zone for a fire truck and they would have sent the police!!! This in turn would have added a lot of time before my upstairs for alarm might trip. Ridiculous. And those is what they do for a living? I called their customer no service and they sent me to their legal team. Imagine that! I asked for either a credit for the lack of service that I paid for. Or just let me out of their contract.
The legal team told me they are going to do NOTHING for me. This company does not stand behind their promises or their mistakes! More problems: In the sales process I got agreement that my house panel would accept a couple wired zones from a new garage I was building in the back. I planned the wires from the new garage and they are under the house on terminal strips. They knew of all this and assured me I WAS prepared to easily add the two zones. But when I asked about hooking them up as was promised... they said the new panel does not take direct wires. They offered to put in a new system for more money and more monthly money. WHAT!!! Of course I went with another (better) solution that for less money than Vector, and it has more features including video. I hope as many of you as possible are reading this. Don't walk away from VECTOR SECURITY... Run!!!

Vector absorbed Crime Deterrent. I am on hold an average of 20 minutes before talking to someone. Then a glitch that happened due to the taking over of Crime Deterrent was left up to me to fix via an email of yours instead of VS taking the time to pursue the correction. The reason given is with the acquisition of CD, VS is not at the present time handle the customer base but VS is working to hiring more people. I do hope that customer service does improve, though the personnel on the phone were courteous.

Derrick called before he arrived and was very nice to me and the family. He took his time and evaluated the system. He determined that we needed new sensors and he replaced them. He was very prepared and knowledgeable about the system. Thanks for sending him.

I initially chose Vector because of a friend who was a salesperson for your company. I had my two houses and a neighbor sign up in same day. Equipment and rate was great offer. I have been loyal to Vector and plan on staying that way. I have had several years of great service and feel secure with them watching our homes. I got rid of my home phone service a few months ago and didn't realize that the alarm was not working. I spoke with a rep and he set me up with an appointment to add cellular. The techs that came out to do the work were very thorough and clean. They knew how to do their job and very quickly. I am pleased to have my system working again.

Jeremy was excellent and kind and well trained. He was able to repair our window (zone tamper) and also install smoke alarms at our request. He was patient and thorough. We can't say enough kind words for him. Thank you Vector. We also have been very pleased with Vector as a whole. Anytime we have a alarm drop we are called immediately. It is such a comfort having your company maintaining such a good system.

Mike was very nice and respectful he did a great job. My install was fast and smooth, he was very knowledgeable on products and support. I am a landlord in Tallahassee, FL and currently have six houses monitored by Vector Security. Their technology is top notch. It takes advantage of up to date communication systems that enhance the actual person to person communication they provide even in a crisis, i.e., when there's been a security alert. Their customer service is excellent and they do take steps to constantly remind you they are only a phone call away if you need them for anything. Improvements in their system has made it easy for me to manage each security system as needed when current residents leave and new tenants take up residency. All residents can access their security system thru their cell phones which has had a huge impact on the extent to which the systems that I pay for are actually used.
In the course of having systems installed and operated over the last few years I have met many of the staff at Vector Security in Tallahassee from the Sales Manager, to the technicians, and the office staff. They are all well trained and very good about answering questions and solving problems. They have an excellent organization going on in Tallahassee. I highly recommend them.

I chose Vector Security because the price was reasonable and the sales team was excellent. The company is always there for us and the respond time is excellent. When you get an alarm they are quick to call you to see if you are ok and if no answer they will call the police. I have been satisfied with our alarm system and I do highly recommend this service to anyone looking for a complete security package and great friendly service.

I choose Vector by my friend recommend them after our house was broken into. We've had the system for almost 3 years. Everything has worked well. I wouldn't mind paying a little less each month though. And if the app would function a little better. Since I've gotten a new phone I haven't been able to have the geofence alert work.

Technician was prompt on schedule. That is very important to me as I have other priorities today. The installation went well besides the standard faults with electrical system. Everything is up and running and my family are safe with the added features. Had Vector Security for many years without any issues. Used to be an ADT customer before and the monthly service fee kept going up everything. And it was just getting frustrating especially when it was the same old stuff and never nothing new. At least Vector do offer us new type of equipment. We just not ready for it moneywise. All else is good.
