We are an existing customer and had our panel upgraded to a new and panel since our original one was installed sometime in 1985 or so. We now have access via the internet and can easily handle any problems with the alarm or panel from outside the office.

This was a system upgrade. Our system was installed 10 years ago and needed to be upgraded. The builder we had chose Vector for us and so far we’ve been satisfied. However, I think it is getting too expensive. The installer was very professional.

I am very pleased with the service that I received from Vector, so when it came time to upgrade our standalone security cameras, I went with Vector. Greg was very pleasant and knowledgeable of the system. Greg did an excellent job with the install. I was consulted throughout the install to insure that I was pleased with the placement of the cameras and the recorder.

Have been using Vector Security alarm for a while. Had it at my last house and when I moved had one of the fancy touchscreen alarms installed at the new place. Been happy with the sales and service.

Devin and Todd came to the Marathon Stop N Go on Wed the 5th to install and update the system for us. The door and motion sensors were updated and sirens were added. They put the system on test and got it fully completed.

I've had Vector in the past and have been very happy with the service. The technicians are very knowledgeable and professional. All of my experience with Vector has been positive and I have always recommended them to anyone needing an alarm system.

My experience with Vector has been a great one, when I had a problem they come right out and taken care of it, I bought the service agreement and they replace things for free. No charge for labor are parked. They're honest. The other thing that's good they have a person who fixes problems name Steve and Steve is outstanding compared to the other repair people because he just is very careful and it also is considerate.

And we had some issues recently with a problem with one of our duct detectors on our fire alarm system. The taxation came out and was able to resolve our issue for us. We could not be happier with the service we received.

We recently purchased our first home and the previous owner had Vector Security so we decided to continue the service. Dave was extremely knowledgeable of all that Vector has to offer and Matt and Tom were extremely professional with the installation of our new devises. I would recommend Vector to everyone!

The fire inspection was good, the inspector was helpful and thorough, but the communication between the office and the inspectors needs work. We had a person come out to our location twice to fix a sensor in a room, on both occasions the inspector came out and was not told/given a sensor to replace the one that was not working.

Vector was our main system and decided to stay the company. The guys did a great job. I love the system key pad and it will work out very well. I think it will keep the stores safe. I'll tell more stores about the system. Very good job.

Vector Security contacted me for low battery. I called in for a service call. Tommy called me when he was 45 minutes out and advised me when he would arrive. He was on time, he introduced himself and proceeded to get right to work. Tommy was very knowledgeable about my system and offered to replace all system batteries and install one fire detector. When he was in and out of house he put on and removed his shoe protectors. Tommy was very professional and you can send him to my house for service anytime. Way to go Vector Security for training your techs to be courteous and professional.

I chose Vector when I moved into my new home 4 years ago. I priced compared and found it comparable to other companies. The service has been good, especially having the warranty plan. I like the innovative technology. However I don't always like the time available for service appointments. The app is easy to use and website is user-friendly

I called and requested an agent, Agata **, for an alarm certificate and I got what I wanted. quickly via an email. The interaction with her was efficient and she explained the services I have patiently. Nice experience and would recommend.

I have had Vector Security as my alarm company since June 2013 and Vector has always been very reliable and responsive to my security needs. Vector Security contacted about upgrading my system with newer technology. The technicians who came out to do the upgrading were very professional, patient and proficient. I definitely will recommend Vector Security to my friends and family.

Vector was recommended by a friend in the early 2000's. I have only used their services and have overall been pleased. We moved from a previous address and transferred our services again with Vector. The customer service has been good but the services due to phone and wifi issues has made the monitoring part somewhat difficult. Overall still satisfied.

Tommy ** is AWESOME! He is very conscious about being on time for the appointment time and always keep me up to date on his arrival. This is not the first time Tommy has came to my residence. I hope every VECTOR employee has the values that Tommy have and care about his customers.

I chose Vector security because I personally knew the salesman and I also have heard a bunch of good things about them. My installation tech was Devin. He was on time, very helpful and very courteous. He was professional and answered all of our question that we had.

Had dealing with another security provider from a local person. Starting having some issues with personnel with the local company remotely hacking into my alarm and putting microphones into the house. A neighbor suggested that Vector would be a better company to go with since they are not local and the alarm may be more secure.

We've always had the best service with Vector Security. They're always prompt and courteous and we've never had any issues with them coming out to fix problems with our system. Overall, we've had excellent service with Vector Security and their technicians. The price is also very affordable.

We were having a problem with our burglar alarm system, and the technician Brian came out to repair it. He was very efficient, and was able to get the problems resolved and now our system is working properly. We are happy with the work the company has provided.

We were having problems with our card readers on our access system, and needed service. The tech came out to our site and was very professional and was able to get our access systems up and running again. Very happy with his work today.

I called and talked to Shannon ** (she was great) about lowering my bill. She told me I could upgrade and extend my contract to get a lower price I told that offer. I talked with Jody at ** to schedule my appointment on Wed 8/22 from 11-1. I called the 912 number back on 8/22 at 1:38pm because the tech had never showed up and I had not gotten any kind of call about tech running late. The person at the ** said the tech had not called them about a problem. She was going to call him and call me back in 5 min.

Current customer. The last time they were here they were very courteous and respectful of my house. I was happy that the installation was done ahead of schedule because I recently was widowed. I feel so much more secure with my security system.

The Vector alarm service is great and the technician was very professional and proficient in his work. My system is now working better than before. I would definitely call customer service for any alarm issues or repairs in the future.

I chose Vector Security because they've been around for a long time and I'd heard good things about them. My interactions with the staff have always been great. The technician knows what he's doing and always solves the problem. They are always on time. I would highly recommend them to a friend or family.

We chose Vector because my mom has it at her place and I have it in my shop. We’ve had Vector for over eleven years and service has been great. My service tech was Devin and he came and installed a mvs so my signals would be received. He was professional and courteous.

Honestly - people at Vector just don't care. We are a long term customer (nearly 2 decades) leaving, and no one even asked why when we called to cancel. Just said email them instead. Ugh. Your service is truly terrible - complained for years to deaf ears. Sometimes we get a call when the alarm is tripped, sometimes not... When we asked why, only excuses and no follow up.

We had ADT prior and they rubbed me the wrong way. They acted too bold. Vector had a representative come by and we chose your company. My interactions with the staff have been good, pretty responsive.

Had a local company service for a long time. My brother told me about the Vector alarm company. He had me sign up for the service so he could get the discount. I use the alarm system on a regular basis. I'm happy with the alarm just seems like a little kinks need to be worked out here and there.

From the very first phone call I made to Vector Security in Shreveport I have been impressed with the friendliness and good customer service I have received from everyone who I have communicated with via phone/email and those who have been in my home. Paul was very helpful and thorough as he helped me plan for upgrading my old system. Charle was professional and knowledgeable when installing the new system and has been available after the installation for questions/concerns, even outside of business hours. Kaylee helped me get the needed information to my insurance company within a matter of minutes. I feel like I am in great hands with the folks at Vector Security in Shreveport and wanted to make sure that everyone got recognition for a job well done, so I hope I'm not forgetting anyone!

We recently purchased a new DVR from Vector and used our original hard drive. After a few weeks it was discovered that the DVR had stopped recording. The technician came out and was able to determine that our hard drive had finally quit. He ordered a new one and had us up and running within just a few days. Thank you Vector. We are looking to many years of service with you.

The price and customer service, Mr ** was very nice and professional. He came in and troubleshoot the problem and he fixed it. He said that he going to make sure that someone would be back out to reset my cameras.

The guy who came out did not seem to know what he was doing he was on the phone with the company and they seemed like they did not know what they were doing. The tech I told him to get out of my house period.

I choose Vector as a new install in 1991 when my house was being built. I had a service call and the. Tech was on time and thoroughly explained the problem. The repair was expertly done without any problems. I would recommend Vector for service and new installation.

From the first phone call with Lee ** he was great selling the product and even the installer Joshua was very polite, knew exactly what to do, very professional, and curiosity and I would recommend them to anyone, and he explained operation of system greatly.

The tech person was so courteous and explained everything so well. He was on time and worked so quickly explaining every question I asked so carefully. Because the installation could not be complete as planned, together we made changes that worked very well for my needs.

My interactions with the customer service center was pleasant. The service rep was able to temporarily resolve my issue until the service technician was able to come out. The technician arrived promptly and completed the service call quickly and efficiently. The technician recommended new products that the company currently is offering. He explained the service in full detail and answered all my questions. I have been with this service provider for any years. I would highly recommend Vector Security company.

We have had Vector security for about 9 years now. We recently built a new house and wanted to keep Vector security. Our installation tech was Devin and he was awesome. He was very easy to work with, very responsive and knowledgeable about this.

Choose because great reputation. Stay with Vector because you stand behind your work. You keep coming out when there is an issue until it is resolved. We have lived in this house for 17 years and had you install the alarm when we moved in.

Complete system overhaul... been with Vector more than 20 years and was satisfied with service. Installer was a consummate professional, knowledgeable, courteous, a real asset to Vector Security. Made the process a real pleasure.

I am a longtime customer of Vector, after originally having ADT. The service technician was prompt, helpful and friendly. He was willing to answer all of my questions. I think he is a fine young man. I think anyone would be happy to have him come to their house to service their system.

We are trying to cancel our services sector security for about the 10th time thank you. I no longer want service from Vector Security now or in the future for the rest of our lives. Is there anything else that we need to tell you to make you feel sure about that. What company doesn't tell you you're running off your hard phone line and then continues to charge you for 6 years when you don't even have a hard phone line? I expect that after I see you I will receive my 6 years worth of money back.

I recently took over the property management for Coldwell Banker Premier Properties in Palm Coast FL. Lynn ** has been very professional and easy to deal with. The customer support she provides has been excellent. The service provided by the techs that come out to maintain our system has been great, and they're very knowledgeable.

Today Jon and Steve came out to do a full system inspection of my system in my rental property. They changed all of the batteries and tested my devices. I’m very happy with my service with Vector. They are always a pleasure to deal with.

Tim ** From Vector Security did very good job on the work he did at our shop, All Trans Transmissions Inc. He fixed the immediate problem and went above and beyond. He noticed that our panel was not communicating. He ran new wire from the panel to the modem, and double checked all connections. The best part was he thoroughly explained what the problem was and explained what new repairs. I am very happy with Tim and vector security.

Spoke with Emily ** was very helpful and professional. All questions answered. Information was accurate and clear. And her response to my emails were prompt and friendly. I will gladly deal with Emily in the future. We will have further contact as I am one of your company's vendors.

Vector Security was installed when we built the house in 2005. We have had few issues with the system over the years. Today was a complete system check which was included with our service agreement. We had a great experience. Scott called to say he was on his way, arrived on time within the service window, and completed the check. We are very happy with the service.

A friend referred us. Installation experience was great. They had a lot to do and did it quickly and cleaned up after themselves. They were quiet as well. Explained the system well. I think we will be happy with the new system.

Had Vector for the last 6 or 7 years. I saw the Vector alarm sign in Somebody yard and decided to call and have get the alarm installed in the house. Not been having any problems except for a door tamper when had to change a battery when it got low.

First, to make it clear, we did not choose Vector Security. We originally had Security Associates as our provider. The service from them was exemplary. Questions were answered immediately, either by phone or with a tech appearance. Since Vector took them over, it's as if we were just put on the back burner. Vector has been collecting our monthly fee, with no visit or contact from anyone.

We chose Vector Security because we have had it in our previous home since 2009. We haven’t had any problems at all and Vector has been great so it was an easy choice. Devin installed the system, he showed up on time which is very important to us, very courteous and very friendly, very good installer. He definitely knew what he was doing.

Vector Security staff provided me with the information I asked and were not pushy and provided excellent customer service. I was provided additonal sensors for the windows which increased the security to my home. I thank you for the experience provided.

We had just installed a security system at our condominium building. As Treasurer of the condo association, I needed an explanation of charges to reconcile with our bill. I have been a vector security client for a long time. Upgrading my system was necessary. We have a middle schooler now, and her safety after school is crucial to my husband and I having some sanity when she arrives at home. Our installer, Peter and trainee Joel were amazing. Peter is an amazing trainer. So soft spoken and patient. Peter and Joel were very personable and kind to my dog, Raven and 8 month old daughter, Alaina. What a way to my heart by being so kind to my child and furbaby :). I am in the insurance industry and deal with clients/new prospects every day. Customer service is a big deal to me and vital in any business. Peter showed exceptional service and knowledge. Zero complaints. Happy customer. Way to go Peter! Best of luck to Joel in his new career. Having Peter as a mentor will certainly take Joel far with Vector Security.

Because of good reputation. Vector staff is always friendly and helpful. I know many friends that have Vector. Jason ** actually got my dog to stop barking at him which has never been accomplished by any service tech ever. Great work.

When we chose Vector we needed a quality security company that would work with our needs and treat our company fairly. Since working with Vector and Tim **, we have received great service and great customer service. Tim has always been helpful, friendly and understanding and willing to make sure our needs are met.

Our Credit Union decided to go with Vector because we had had issues with our previous alarm company with things not working and administrative issues. Mike and Ted came out and replaced our alarm system and added on to our fire system. They were both pleasant to work with and they cleaned up after they were done the installation.

Greg did a great job when he came out today. He upgraded my system that I've had for 17 years, took me off my landline and took me wireless. Very reasonable pricing and affordable rates. Thank you Greg for being as professional as you were and thank you Vector.

Vector Security provides our current service. We needed two sets of windows and the basement doors sensors reconnected after repairing wind damage to the house. We added two Smoke alarms that could be monitored as part of the service. We also purchased two key FOBs.

Door Repair - We have an older security system and have had other companies work on it and have not had much success. Since using Mike we have not had any issues, always fixed the 1st time, cards ordered have always been correct. He takes the time to explain the issue, find a solution and follows through once given the approval. That is quite rare in our area, Thanks Mike for the great work!

Today’s service was excellent. The service technician Gary was very professional and knowledgeable in the installation and workings of the system. I have been pleased with Vector's service for the 3 years they have been with us. We are having construction work done in the house and needed a temporary passcode for a few weeks. The code was added easily by the service desk. They were also able to confirm that two other temporary passcodes had been deleted. Thank you.

Jeff was articulate, patient and very knowledgeable about our system. He was able to explain the basics of security systems at a level that one who has never used one could easily comprehend. I moved into a new home and had it in my last home. We were very interested in the doorbell camera. Also my wife is alone at night and I felt better having a system. We look forward to the cool new camera so we can see anyone that comes on the porch.

After waiting three weeks for the installation of the alarm/fire system, Aaron arrived on time and was very professional and personable. Unfortunately, as a family had just learned some unsettling news but we wanted to go ahead with the installation. Aaron was very considerate of our personal situation and was not bothered by the many visitors coming and going. When done installing the system, he was very patient and kind in explaining its use and setting up the computer account, etc. to us when our minds were trying to focus and understand how to do things. He was very kind and did not rush us. The system is for my mother's home and both my sister and I have Vector systems already, so we are familiar and are satisfied customers. I think Aaron was wonderful and did his job very professionally and walked us through everything carefully.

Original system in place and previous owner mentioned great reputation and timeliness. Had my doorbell camera installed today and am able to get notification when packages are delivered and people are at the door. Vector Security has hooked me up today!

Our Vector Tech Rep called before he came, arrived at the time he said he would, and quickly determined the problem with our system. Within a couple minutes, he corrected the problem, and explained to me in brief in simple understandable terms, what he had done so that it made sense to me. He then checked the system to ensure that everything was working OK. He was very pleasant and would be welcome back here in the future to solve any future issues.

Nicole was very patient with me as I asked questions and changed what I wanted. She was always kind and courteous. She provide the information I asked for timely and always followed up with additional information as I requested it.

We have had a security system with a local security company prior to them becoming Vector for many years. Our equipment was very old and the Vector sales rep. stopped by to just see if we would be interested in learning about what products and services that they provided. After hearing the new technology and less difficult products that were now out, we decided to upgrade our system. The technician who installed the new equipment was helpful and knowledgeable when answering our questions. His explanation of how to operate the system was very easy to understand and stayed while we all armed and disarmed the system just to be sure we all knew how to operate it properly. This we thought was above and beyond the normal procedure and we greatly appreciated it. Thank you Vector.

Starting from my initial call for service, the staff has been very helpful and courteous. Today, the technician arrived within the time frame. He identified and introduced himself. He was an attentive listener by giving me an opportunity to explain what had occurred. He took the time to tell me his plan for addressing the problem. He explained each step. He allowed me opportunity to ask questions as he checked each sensor. Before he left, he made sure that I was comfortable with the new key pad.

The transition of moving offices and cameras went very smooth. John was on time, efficient, extremely helpful and was easy to work with. He is an absolute pleasure. Vector is a great company too. Their website is easy to work with. Great job and thanks!!!

We have had Vector for our security company for many years, both at our Maryland home and our beach house. We have been very pleased with service. Sales was friendly, the install technician very pleasant and knowledgeable. Any concerns answered.

Peter ** was the technician that installed our alarm. He greeted us with a smile and was very personable throughout the installation process. He walked us through the set-up process, as well as explained and demonstrated using the keypad and setting up and using the remote access. I called him after he left the house with an additional request and he was gracious and responsive and wasn't annoyed even though it was almost 7pm. He also followed up with me after our call. Peter was great and I'll request him to do installs at my other properties.

The Representative you sent was amazing, professional, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. He offered to change batteries in all zones even though that was not what I called for. Extremely pleased with service provider. Will definitely continue my contract with Vector Security. Happy I was first stop on his list. Able to make it to work in timely fashion.

We had an issue with our gate control call box. The technician was excellent and professional. He fixed the problem, and also was able to get my authorization code for me for the burglar alarm system. Very happy with the work done.

Sales rep came out and helped us get the upgrade going and adding 2 exterior cameras. Then Josh the installer came out and upgraded the existing alarm and installed the 2 outside cameras and recommended adding another 3rd camera in which we did and are satisfied.

I became new customer to Vector Security about six months ago and have been very impressed with there service over my last company. Any of the staff that worked on our facility were pleasant and very easy to work with. They were knowledgeable about what work they had to perform and were timely in completing it. Would definitely recommend for future projects and other companies security needs.

A friend of my daughter works there. Gary was awesome! Very polite. Did and awesome job showing me how to use it. Would highly recommend. HAD ONE PROBLEM WITH FRONT DOOR OVER WEEKEND AND GARY CALLED AND HE WAS OUT ON MONDAY TO FIX THE PROBLEM.

My Vector Security system prevented a break in a few days ago. I called with a question and the associate attempted to assist me over the phone, however the problem could not be resolved over the phone. A technician arrived within an hour to resolve the issue. He was professional and able to resolve all issues in a timely manner.

Had a representative come out to upgrade our old system to a newer system that is touch screen and replace the main battery and add in a hallway smoke. Also added the app to our 2 phones so we can control it wherever we are. We like the weather display and what the system can do for us now.

Vector is an old name in security and their service department is great, especially the service tech Tommy **. I had some problems but Tommy fixed them all in short order. That is about all I can say. Very pleased with service.

Todd my install tech did a great job. He was very knowledgeable on the security system and the Alarm.com interface. Todd cleaned up after himself which I was very happy with. Vector security as a whole is a great company to deal with. Their customer service and install team were great to deal with. I recommend Vector to anybody who is interested in a security system.

There was a technician out today to service our camera system. The technician Brian, was awesome. He was quite helpful and very thorough with his work. Explained everything, and set up our camera system for viewing on our mobile devices.

We've been using Vector for so long I can't remember how we found them to begin with. They are excellent. Professional. ALWAYS have the answer. Have a fantastic warranty which covers replacement of all batteries each year which is less than me replacing them on my own.

We originally were with ADT and my mother had a system with Vector. I wasn't happy with the service I received from ADT and they kept telling me nothing was wrong with their system so I decided to change and go with Vector. I have always had good interactions with the Vector staff whenever we have had issues or needed new equipment.

I requested that I be added to our security system, and received a confirmation is less than 24 hours. Awesome turnaround time. When I phoned, I was directed to the correct department on the first try. I enjoyed that I spoke with a live person and did not have to leave a message on an automated system.

We chose Vector after learning about them at the Senior Living Expo. We had already decided to drop coverage from DES - BeeSafe. We had discovered that our monitoring was on operational so Vector came around at the right time. My only negative thus far is the actual installation charges. I was under the impression that you would be able to use my original equipment. I understand the need to upgrade the technology, but was not happy with the costs. I am hoping that the equipment and system will work to my expectation.

Updated on 06/22/2020: We have water sensors, window and door sensors and freeze sensor. This was a checkup visit and replacement of batteries. Tech was very professional and explained all that was needed. We discussed options of upgrading the security system. We have a vector system in our permanent home and choose it for this, our vacation home.

We chose Vector because the salesman who came out was very thorough with his explanation of your services. Since that time we have had only on service call. The technician Tony was extremely helpful and was able to repair the problem quickly and after explain what had happened and how to avoid it happening again. He also went over how to change things about my account through the website. I am very impressed with the amount of knowledge Tony had about my security system.
