I called Daniel and he answered and I asked to add a doorbell camera. He had someone call and I Made the appointment. Then The tech came out and installed the doorbell Camera and I love it. Now I can check on my house anytime I would like and when anyone rings my bell I will know and they will never know if I am home.

Existing home system from prior home owner. Josh was very professional and competent. He was expeditious in setting up the system and was able to easily show me how the system works. He is a credit to your organization. Josh showed how the security system arms and disarms in the various modes of Home, Stay, Away and Sleep. He also took the time to clearly explain how the Emergency buttons worked and how they interact with law enforcement, fire and emergency medical personnel.

We needed a duress code set up in all of our location. We always get fast and great service. The codes were all set within a day or so. I often work with Alysia, she has always been on top of everything. I appreciate the great service..

We used to have ADT in the beginning. Just the standard old alarm. There was a break in across the street and Vector salesman came in the area and showed us the new system and we signed up. All has been fine with it. Just today a service came to change out batteries for the alarm and told us about a newer system that we can use our phone to turn on the alarm and watch cameras too. We thinking about getting that one soon.

My receptor is still hanging out my wall after a whole year. Installer never came back. System works when it want to. Asked several time to come remove system if they wasnt gonna do it correctly. House was broken into. No one even came out to service camera that was cut during break in.

Meji was awesome! He called before arriving and showed ID. He did the work beautifully and fast - he checked all the sensors and changed all the old drained batteries. Very happy! I would recommend Meji or Vector to anyone I know.

At our old house we had Vector Security installed in the home already and so we just decided to activate what was there. Since then we chose to continue with Vector. We are now at a new location and we are upgrading and adding some new technology and we like it!

Great service. Every technician that has worked on the alarm system has always been very professional and friendly. They have always been on time for the service appointments and have a very prompt response time when the alarm system goes off. I would recommend Vector to anyone!

We added approx. 30% to our historical society library and museum and we're forced to, and opted to, upgrade system. Your tech, Howard, was terrific, working mostly alone, under very trying conditions. He was ESPECIALLY thoughtful in leaving a "fish" wire in a long duct which we needed for a tele connection to our new elevator. Ricky ** was really helpful in coordinating the inspections with fire and building. We were stuck without his guidance. He's now helping us get up to speed with programming the new system by arranging instruction and helping us around problems with setting off fire alarm during heavy cleaning. A very difficult construction period with delays and problems was made MUCH easier by the continued and willing help from the office and the tech. Would recommend your company in a heartbeat.

I chose Vector because I am a satisfied customer. I Was happy that Rich ** took the time to be sure we understood what we bought and how to use it. In the past have had service calls where the job was done correctly; but I did not know how to use the equipment. It is very important to take the time at the installation to explain how the equipment works. This saves time and followup calls by the customer. It also makes the customer happy he bought from Vector.

Had another company for a long time and needed to connect the guest house area to it where the other company said it couldn't be done without a greatly added expense. Vector people came in and got it done. Only issue we have with the Vector service is having to pay a $25 service bill.

We've been living in our house for nearly 21 years. We chose Vector after an incident where my wife saw people walking around our backyard staring hard at our windows. The police notified us that there had been a few break-ins in our area. We've received good service from Vector over the years. The same service person has been coming to our house for quite some time, and we appreciate the consistency.

Vector appeared to be the alarm system of choice in our neighborhood so we naturally picked Vector Alarm as well. Alarm does as it should. Just had a recent minor issue with a image device. Other than that all has been fine with the alarm.

I really appreciate the staff of Vector Security. Joshua ** has been to my home once before and has, again, displayed a high degree of expertise and professionalism. If Vector was his company, he would be a rich man. What I don't appreciate and the major reason why I would never recommend this service to anyone is your willingness to leave me and my family with a faulty system that we are supposed to be able to depend on. I am a paying customer and I deserve the peace of mind that there is a system in place that is the first line of defense in a bad situation.
The service call was submitted just before or after Thanksgiving. The first offered date of service was December 7th. That is far too long. Granted Josh came on the 4th, but that was unplanned. Again, Joshua is awesome. The service, when it works is good. But leaving folks to defend for themselves with a faulty system, while paying for a service is unsat. If I were the home owner, that would be a deal breaker and I would get rid of Vector's service instantly. I do intend to report this to the property manager and the home owner.

We had Vector installed about 25 years ago to provide additional security when kids home alone. It has worked very well with very little maintenance required at all. Good customer service. Would recommend to others if asked. Glad I have the service.

My sister who lives in Baltimore had her Security System Installed by Vector Security and has been pleased with the company for the past couple years. We moved in about 2 years ago. We signed up with Vector shortly after. We have had no complaints about the service until a couple months ago. We had a tech come out and replace the camera but did not seem to help our problem. Steve came out and was very knowledgeable. He tried many different problem solving techniques. He was not successful the first visit but made a follow up call and everything is working great now!

We found less expensive, more modern service that was available elsewhere. We also had a very difficult time getting through your voice mail system to speak to a person or to confirm the cancellation of service. We waited on hold for as much as one and one-half hours trying to get through to a live person. We eventually had to call the emergency line to be able to connect with a live person.

We have Vector for several years and happy with service - never had not a day of trouble with the system except for the battery on a sensor. We moved to a new house while trying to sell our old house. We had Vector service at both homes during the process. There were a few hiccups along the road (a few false alarms and wrong numbers called), but Nichole in the Covington office helped get everything straight. After we sold our house we were able to easily cancel that service. Overall, we are very pleased with Vector, especially the Mandeville/Covington branch!!!

We got Vector after our old alarm system which was really an old alarm was damaged by lighting and a quote from ADT was just too high. Vector salesman came through with a great deal and was able to use a lot of the original equipment also. We had a little hiccups every once in a while yet the service team has been patient and got us running as we should when problem arise.

Had service today on a water sensor that had corroded the battery terminals, the tech knew exactly what to do to fix it and did so on not only that device but asked if he could check all the other similar devices. We Got Vector after having Brink's alarm that got bought out by ADT company. Then almost every other month it seem like the rate just keep going up and up. Then one day a Vector salesperson was coming throughout the neighborhood and we switched out the alarm service. We are happy with everything. Just don't understand what a twenty five dollars trip charge is for when we are paying for a full warranty service. Thank you.

I got Vector alarm after trying to use the existing ADT alarm that was in the house I bought. ADT didn't upgrade the alarm that was already there which was very old. Vector salespeople were in our neighborhood walking from door to door and offered an update so I agreed and got installed - not had any problems except for a low battery. All has been great so far. We are looking to update alarm again with Vector in the future.

Updated on 10/04/2021: Vector has been our home security Experts since 2017 and there is no other Company like them. Their Technicians are skilled and experienced and today’s technicians service was exceptional. He Analyzed the system and it’s firmware for any issues that may have occurred. Original Review: We acquired Vector Security as a sales representative has going throughout the neighborhood and had a great special in which we replaced the old ADT panel. We are happy with the current Vector Security alarm. Not very happy with the installer that installed the alarm. However Dexter the service tech came out. My views on the company changed considerably. Dexter was very professional, patient and showed us how to operate the system and set up the alarm as the installer did not do such as the doorbell camera and the outside video camera motion Detection. Will gladly recommend Vector Security if the other Technicians are on the same calibrator as Dexter.

I have a problem with the cameras being triggered everytime the wind blows. My service technician came and readjust the cameras to make sure the cameras only record when it is suppose to record. He did a great job testing every camera.

We had a contractor in to work in our grange. We left him working while we went to work. An hour and a half later his was going into our house. Vector not only called the police but called me on the job to let me know what was going on. Needless to say he never worked for us again. My wife loves the peace on mind she gets when she turned it on. I'm away a lot and our backyard is a wooded area so back door security was a big concern for her and now she sleeps great now.

We have used Vector for about 20 years and are updating our system to use the app and fix or change glass break and batteries. Also, Kevin gave us a thorough tutorial on the app making the process seamless, efficient and helpful. Kevin ** was wonderful, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.

The service was great! It did not take to long and he got it done in a timely fashion. My install technician was great and showed me everything I needed to know. The sales guy was wonderful at explaining everything to me and getting me set up and ready to go.

My interactions with the staff at Vector Security have been excellent. We have had vector security since April of 2000. We have always had prompt service to our questions and service needs. All of the staff at vector security have been pleasant, knowledge, courtesy. We have loved the relationship and would not hesitate to recommend Vector Security to others.

My interactions with the tech today (Chris) was very good. Chris arrived exactly at the time he had indicated with a phone call an hour prior to his arrival. Overall, through my years with Vector, I've been pleased however, I do wonder about the level of monitoring now (the last couple of years). The reason for that is, when I have even a false alarm (where I may accidentally set off the alarm), no one calls to check. That honestly causes some alarm.

As for the false alarms, like many other security companies, Vector Security uses what is called an “electronic verification” process. When a false alarm is triggered, we receive a signal that indicates no true emergency exists, therefore we do not dispatch help to your location. This process is common practice in the alarm industry and helps ensure resources are reserved for true emergencies, reduces false alarm dispatches and saves valuable human and financial resources.

We did not choose Vector Security. Vector Security bought out the company we were with that gave personalized, quick service. Vector Security has a lot to live up to. So far it has been challenging with our initial interactions. Hopefully it will get better.

Vector Security's reputation is good. Had the alarms from Vector Security since 2003. The techs were very professional and courteous, and they always have done a good job. Always had good interactions with them. Think it is a good value and we will stay with Vector Security.
