Fast solution to problem, great company. Always knowledgeable service and problem solving. Will stay with Vector forever. Tech was knowledgeable on our system and fixed our issues quickly. He also updated our signs outside and moved it closer to the road to be more visible.

I’ve been a Vector Security customer for over 15 years now and I’m always pleased with their prompt and professional service. The technician Allen called in advance to let me know his ETA and was right on time. Allen did a great job explaining the problem and was very professional.

We got Vector because of break-in in the area and our Seaboard security alarm was no longer active then to it was a very old alarm. Vector had a lot of new stuff that works remotely with the smartphones which I really liked.

Happy with service, monitoring has been good, serviceman very professional and skilled, office people always polite and helpful. System has been reliable for years with only occasional glitches, usually due to my failure to clean and check. I'm done. System is good to protect house for what I need.

We have had Vector for our security services and central vacuum system that was installed when our home was built. Service is good when we call for issues and have our calls returned promptly. The Delaware Branch are very consistent with taking care issues when service is needed.

I was referred by a family member. I looked at ADT, but was not impressed by their service tech or their equipment. I like Vector quick response and knowledge of their system. I am thinking of letting them update to the wireless system.

I've been impressed with Vector and their techs. I had the system since 2005 and haven't had any major problems. The tech that came today was very nice and thorough. He replaced some equipment and explained my service plan. Vector is a great company and I would recommend to anyone.

Because I Vector before and I had a break in... The staff was nice and did the job very quickly. En route to installing my new security system the technician called with an ETA. He was professional and patiently answered all my questions. He help me setting my account on my phone and made sure that I was very comfortable with my new Security system. I would definitely refer Vector Security to all my friends and family who might be in the market for security services.

We have been with the Vector company for over 10 years. We are very pleased with the service they provide. Today we requested Vector company to inspect our keypads as we have been experiencing some difficulty, some beeping noise keep coming from the keypads. Vector sent out the technician, name Mr. Steve ** who thoroughly inspected the entire system and fixed the problem. Mr. ** was very professional and knowledgeable and he was also very helpful in explaining some important features in the security system. Mr. ** kindness and professionalism is highly appreciated.

We have been a Vector customer for years and have had nothing but a great experience. This week my system started acting up and I ended up with the police and my door twice. I called Vector and they had an analyst here in a couple days. They acknowledged I had an issue, explained what happened and resolved it immediately. The analyst was very pleasant and made sure I understood what the problem was.

We have had and used Vector for over 15 years now. We have had Excellent customer service and alarm service. Alarm Central Station staff are responsive and quick to answer. The installed system is simple to use and to understand. Alerts are easily identified and disabled.

We were not notified when Vector acquired our previous security provider, Security Associates, so I was surprised when I received the invoice for services. After reaching out to your customer service team for various requests (updated contact info, W9 for payment, etc.) I was pleasantly surprised at the urgency in response to my inquiries. I am rating my experience at a '4' based on the lack of notification after the acquisition - the customer service has been excellent. Thank you.

Based on web customer reviews, referral from Comcast. During initial consultation sales rep explained everything in detail, didn't pressure me in any way, didn't pressure me for things I didn't need. The installer was very nice, arrived on time, and explained everything in great detail. Took the time to answer all of my questions. And also go over and review with me several times until I felt educated.

I called 90 days prior to my 5 year contract ending. The customer service rep told me I would have to pay the last 3 months to complete my contract. I agreed and understood, but wanted to cancel early so it didn't renew. So I did. Then 60 days after the term ended I got a bill for over $700 for canceling a renewed contract. I called customer service and they told me it didn't get canceled, so it auto-renewed. This is completely dishonest. I have spoken with managers and no one is willing to give good customer service.

I called to replace a battery and Allen found and fixed two other issues. Great service, Allen explained possible wireless upgrades. Will probably upgrade soon, thanks to Allen my system is back up and running again and I feel comfortable arming my system.

It was a great experience working with Meji. Before he arrived I received a call from him giving me his en route status, he showed his badge when he arrived and help me with my issue. He even recommended adding a carbon to my system because the old one was not connected to panel.

I had smoke from my fireplace. The alarms needed to be cleaned of smoke. The tech explained how to manually reset my alarm and also replaced my keypad which was going bad. The tech was very professional and very helpful.

Batteries needed replacing. Had to wait for several days for a service rep. Dislike email notifications of alarm failure only. If a break in were in progress, it would be difficult to prevent if email were not available. Not sure what would work. Service technician very knowledgeable, pleasant and reliable. Thanks.

We chose Vector Security because of past experience with the company. We had another system at our previous house (still in service, waiting for house sale) which we originally purchased from American Alert. We have been with Vector since they took over American Alert. When we purchased this home, I contacted Gayle, who helped us with our last system. She came to the new place and helped us design a system for our needs here. Today, Jeremy ** installed the system. He was polite and efficient, confirming with us on any questions regarding placement of keypad and sensors.

On October 23, 2017, I had an alarm installed. I received a phone call on November 5, 2017 around 9:00 a.m. that my basement door was open. I was not aware that the door was opened until I received a text message and phone call at the same time. The following day, I contacted the representative and was told that a piece of equipment was not installed. I was scheduled for a install the following Friday. I called 1-800-688-0150 and was on hold, after 12 minutes I hung-up the phone. Today, November 13, 2017 I called the Columbia MD office and was able to speak with someone after being on hold for 24 minutes. Their only resolve was to provide credit and reschedule. At this point, I have a useless alarm system that can not protect my family. A credit is not a substitute for safety. Please help.

Tech arrived early to repair issue at hand. Tech was very professional! Handle issue accordingly! He even went the extra mile and rerouted the wire to the transformer so that it would no longer remove from the outlet, this was an occurring issue that other techs failed to remedy... this wasn’t the main reason why I called. PERFECT.

Window sensor inoperable in Living Room - My interaction with Meji was great. He was very thorough in diagnosing our possible problems as well as repairing them. He repaired our troubles and even offered an additional solution to use the wireless contact on one window that was not responding. In my opinion he did an exceptional job.

I had an old system, dating back to 1994 that was taken over by Mac Hammond in 2003. It functioned well but didn't have any current day features. After being approached by another firm seeking my business, I ultimately decided to upgrade my system and stay with you. To be certain you are not price competitive, so it was a tough decision to make. Nonetheless, Ricardo came to "convert" the old system and install the new one. Neither you, he nor I understood how complicated it would be. He was amazingly patient and thorough, always had a pleasant smile and demeanor as he worked through the complex rewiring and installation.
I know that the original estimate was for up to 4 hours, but he worked far more than that, never stopping for breaks or meals. When, late in the day, after he tested, it turned out that an important (to me) aspect would not work; he carefully moved some equipment, made suggestions and got everything working to my more than satisfaction. As I get more familiar with the system I might find a glitch or two, but it seems unlikely. Bottom line, he is a credit to your organization and re-enforced my rather uneconomic decision. Today's service was great. Past service not very good. Was more focused on the Upsell than finding and solving problem at hand. Recent call to customer care was troubling as well. Operator told me I did not have a problem because issue was not showing up on her monitor. Next day I called a different customer care agent and he said he saw problem on his monitor and would send someone out to fix.

On November 1, 2017, I called the operator to direct me to the person/person in charge of issuing the EVENT HISTORY REPORT. After a few transfers, I finally was able to express my concern namely the printouts for July, August, September and October 2017. The order was taken and promised to e-mail to me. Due to no response, I called, Dee Dee as was recommended by Mr. ** if I ever had any problem. And he was right again. Dee Dee said that I would hear from them the same afternoon. Mr. ** was right again. The same afternoon I received the EVENT HISTORY REPORT that I requested earlier. The report was the best ever received from the office and I hope that the future monthly report will be as clear and organized. In addition I will give kudos to Dolores ** for an excellent job providing me with the report I requested.

The reason I choose Vector was because I've heard good thing about their service and alarm system. Two days ago I called Vector because my home monitor system was saying that there was an issue with a window. I was told by the first representative that the battery needed to be replaced. I was informed of the battery size was two AAA per contact, which I questioned because they seemed that they would be too large to fit in the contact. Doubting the size I again called back and spoke with Roy **. I did not obtain the name of the first representative. Roy researched my battery for me and gave me the correct battery that we would need as well as sending me a link to an online source where I could purchase them. He explained to me the process if we wanted to replace them ourselves and instructions on how to bypass the window until the battery was replaced.
The next day the window was not being sensed by the monitor as faulty so I called Vector back and specifically went to Roy's extension. He checked the monitor for me and said that at this time all things are working well. We plan on replacing batteries but it is good to know that Roy is on your customer service team when the time comes to do so. I wanted to commend him on being friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He is an asset to Vector.

I've chosen Vector Security, as my community has pre arranged this company to work with. I had a terrific experience with April **. April was courteous, knowledgeable, patient, diligent and she was a good listener, of all the issues I had. Prior to coming across April, I hadn't had a positive experience with Vector, as they didn't convey the options available as a new customer, for example, hooking up the system to the police department, and the file station. No one advised me that a Alarm System Registration was required to operate a fire or alarm. In addition, no explained the on-line process or that this was an option. I also wasn't offered the mobile application to be notified of entry into my home. I knew about it from a neighbor of mine, so I knew to ask for this service, but no one offered it to me.
All this went away with April **, as she was an employee which knew your products, knew how to handle all the issues and the dissatisfaction, I initially had. April was proficient in providing a positive experience and went above and beyond to make sure, I was properly set up. I am a business owner, and this is someone, I would love to have on my team to represent a company. You're fortunate to have her on your team! I know, feel like I have a quality install and explanation due to April **.

I had an issue with false alarms because of a malfunctioning alarm on a door. An appointment was set for a service call. The technician arrived on time, introduced himself and showed his identification. He was efficient explaining to me everything he was doing to "fix" the problem. Upon completion, he tested everything and again showed me what he had done. I live alone and I was very comfortable with the technician. After the work was finished... replacing a sensor, and resetting an account number, and checking all points I feel comfortable that I will be safe.

I am pleased with Vector. Derrick came in today to service my system. He found that the old system magnets could be affecting the new system. He removed all old magnets and tested my system. He also explained to me how the doorbell camera works and interested me into getting outdoor cameras.

I had a malfunction on an outside door that did not improve after installing new batteries as suggested by your staff. I called for service and the tech arrived a few days later (today). Jeremy ** was very professional and courteous. He called ahead to let me know his arrival time which was appreciated. He quickly determined the problem and replaced the door alarm with a heavier duty model. Made sure everything was working properly and left.
I recall he was equally as helpful during the system installation. He clearly explained procedures and made me very comfortable with my ability to operate the system. He is an asset to your company. The alarm system is working perfectly (except for this minor door issue). I love the convenience of the app and have not set it off unexpectedly. We have been a customer for a few years now. Over the years we always felt protected and looked after with our Vector System. Recently had a tech problem and it was resolved effectively and efficiently by our operator known only to us as Michelle. She went far and away above what we feel anyone else we had dealt with so far to attempt to resolve our issue. She was able to help us locate our username so we could access our account. It had been locked out to us because of the recent APPLE update on our iPhone. Fortunately we were able to access our account quickly using only a couple attempts to gain it. We apparently had a camera go out and it was a power strip that was replaced at no charge. It was out of warranty but as we just had some new cameras installed they did it at no cost. A good experience.

We've used Vector for 3 years now and the service has been great. We've had only one issue with a camera that was not connecting properly. They came out and diagnosed the problem and came back to fix it. They fixed it properly and also walked me through troubleshooting and proper usage.

We switched to Comcast phone service and when Jason came and took care of the security connection the whole system (phone and security) worked well. He came back 1 wk later and installed 2 new smoke detectors, one of which had been hanging loose but now is well installed, and redid one of our basement windows. So now the security system works well and we can set it (we had only had fire protection for years). Lastly he gave us a new Vector sign and reviewed the operation of our system with me.

I had a sensor go bad on the back door this morning. I called and asked for service asap. Before the end of the day the tech showed up, located the sensor and the reasons for the alarm, it had a faulty tamper switch. He replaced it and tested quickly and efficiently. Thanks for the great service!

My son who was in Europe at the time had an alarm system where he was able to see inside his house and remotely turn on and off when he needed to without having to be home told me to inquire about getting one like that from ADT since I already had them for over 20 yrs. We had ADT for a long time and the monthly service rate just kept increasing. The same Alarm person that put the system in the house ended up working for Vector and since we were already pleased with his work we decided to have him put in this upgraded Vector alarm. Already customer had to have batteries replaced and system inspection. Prompt alarm response when system accidentally activated. Pricey but worth it. Tech was prompt and finished quickly. Offered advice when asked and asked if any questions. Overall happy. Give smaller window for service times.

We had ADT for a while and got tired of the bill going up almost every month and not getting any response when needed. Since having Vector we have only had little minors issues here and there mostly things we have forgotten. Otherwise great alarm system.

Like the company, good technicians, great service, very professional. Didn't waste time. Got the job done quick. The serviceman was polite and fixed the problem quick. Been with company for a very long time. Service was always great. Never had a problem with anyone who serviced the equipment.

Vector renewed my service without notifying me. When I asked for some options they had me speak to no less than four different people - none of whom were empowered to make a decision. In the end I chose the service with a one year term. I am going to explore options with other companies in time for next year’s renewal.

While it sure seemed to start out kind of rocky I have to admit they react and go above and beyond to make any and all corrections both real and perceived. The installation department is unbelievable in that they work with you so closely until you are 100% satisfied. While I was concerned at the beginning I can honestly say now that I couldn't be happier and I feel so much safer.

We were impressed with the sales rep and what he had to offer. Now I’m not sure we made the correct choice. To begin with there was a screw up on installation dates and times. Now it appears the installation was not completed as advertised even after contacting the sales rep. So right now not happy at all.

The Customer service rep was so amazingly knowledgeable and patient, polite and helpful. I was frankly quite impressed. I feel very safe with Vector Security so far. There are few companies which offer acceptable customer service. The call was answered almost immediately. I was transferred right away to the appropriate department. All in all a good experience. The only complaint I have is that the invoices online are not descriptive enough. I couldn’t tell which invoice was for which service I had.

Install person did a nice job. He was thorough. He was on time and he went over the fire system with us. Howard let us know what we needed to get system working. Howard helped by running the 2 phones lines to your fire panel.

I called to set up maintenance for my system battery and was connected to Danielle. She has a kind and patient demeanor and attempted to walk me through the steps to change the battery. Since I was having problems following verbal instructions, Danielle suggested that she send an instructional video. This was very helpful. Danielle also let me know that if I continued to have issues that I could reconnect with her to get a satisfactory resolution. So, her verbal instructions along with the video helped me to resolve my issues. Thanks Danielle for your patience and assistance.

We had a problem with our system. A representative came out to our home. He was well presented, professional in appearance, communication and performance. I had problem with my device and then I called for service. Vector was able to set up an appointment immediately. The service technician was very courteous and thorough explaining to me what the problem was and repaired it for me. Great Service.
