Great customer service, prior history with Vector Security was great and #1 choice for my personal home security! David, Chuck, and Matthew were awesome!! Definitely would suggest using these guys for all of your home and commercial security needs, they are the best hands down... Call them.

Mark who sold us on Vector Security at the Home and Garden Show was very informative and quickly set us up with an installation appointment. Jeremy who set up the security system in our home was wonderful. He was very patient while my husband and I decided on the location of our main pad. He worked extremely neatly which I greatly appreciated as well. All of the sensors in the rooms were placed in corners or places that wouldn't become an eyesore. He did a great job exceeding all of our expectations.

I have had them for many years and when I call them they respond very QUICKLY and promptly. The maintenance program is TOP NOTCH. THE TECH was very knowledgeable and PROFESSIONAL. MADE AN APPOINTMENT ON TUESDAY HAD THE APPOINTMENT ON FRIDAY!!!

Vector protects our business with excellent alarm service. The service they provide is indispensable. On one occasion, a technician alerted us that the water company had accidentally turned off fire sprinkler water to our building. Without the thorough fire inspections that Vector technicians provide, this situation could have lead to catastrophic damage to our building or loss of life had a fire occurred.

Technician arrived well within the time allotted. He was well mannered and explained the process so that I understood what happened with the old system and the differences with the new system. I would recommend Vector to anyone who needs a security system.

I chose Vector over ADT and Moni since I had Vector before and loved my system and wanted wireless. Vector is the best I have found out from past experience with other systems. They are dependable and that is key to me.

I've been with Vector for a while now and have always been very pleased with their service. Greg came by and did the inspection and showed up on time and listened to any concerns I had. He did a great job explaining and knowing the new products that were out and gave me some recommendations. I don't ever plan on leaving Vector.

I got Vector alarm for my house after I had been using another alarm service for years. The previous company was using the phone line and the phone was always having issues so when Vector sales people came in the subdivision we talked to him about the alarm and when he said it don't need a phone line we had the alarm put in.

The service call was done promptly. Don was great at informing us about extra services we would need when we reinstall our windows. We were extremely satisfied with the service provided today. We wish that the re-installation of sensors would be more reasonably priced.

Recommended by family. Everyone was very professional and listened to our concerns. During installation Greg was exceptional in working with us on placement of equipment. Pulled out all old wiring and new equipment was put in better and more professional than the old.

Met representatives at York Home Show. We were very displeased with prior security system installed by Comcast which could not be used due to constant false alarms. Jenn was very helpful in suggesting alternatives and designing new system. Anthony did a thorough, professional job with installation and addressing additional questions to further customize a system to meet our specific needs.

Not happy with system but technician has been very helpful. Good followup from customer service. Perhaps newer system is better. Unable to recommend technical product. Night technical service adequate but day service more helpful in resolving. BUT I LIKE THE SERVICE. JUST A LITTLE OF IMPROVEMENT.

The rep asked for the business, cold call. Stopped in once, we were not here. Stopped in again, I was here. Received accurate info to review and set up install promptly. If the rep didn't stop by I would have installed my own system and had monitoring done at a cheaper rate but I was happy with Vector's customer service.

We’ve had Vector for many years and have been pleased with the service. Our service man today, Jeff, was outstanding. Very nice and did a great job. When we’ve had issues with the alarm system or when the alarm went off, Vector responded appropriately as we would wish. Excellent service is very important to us!

Our technicians, Jay and Mike, were very knowledgeable and helpful. Any time we have had to have a technician come out, they have been very friendly and helpful and resolve the issue quickly. We are very happy with our service and the value of our system. I work with a property management company that has 5 buildings and security is very important to us and to our tenants. The system allows me to support them quickly, easily and efficiently.

I ended with the Vector alarm company after many years of dealing with ADT alarms. The monthly rate was steadily increasing while retaining the same style of equipment just didn't seem like any good reason to justify an increase. Called Vector for a better deal and new equipment was installed.

Familiar with company through church using them.we have the house fully protected with door, window, glass, and smoke detection. It was installed after a break-in and we have been very satisfied with the local office and service. The equipment has held up very well and the service has been handled very well.

It was the security system already installed in the home. My interaction was very good. Great Customer Service. I was walked through the system to make sure that I had a complete understanding of all the functions of the system. Because I was a new installation and customer, I feel Vector went above and beyond to make sure that I understand everything.

Technician was polite, congenial, and professional. HE was on time and prompt. The service plan is good. I Get notifications promptly but only issue is with the false alarms on exterior doors when wind blows. Would prefer discounted monthly rate to match competitors.

We continue to receive quality care and support from the technicians that come out to work on our system. We have yet to experience professional or prompt service from the majority of the main offices - in regards to scheduling, and a major lack of communication from them. We had a service tech come out on a service call a few weeks back and made recommendations for us to proceed with. The communication break down was with the individuals who were supposed to call us with price quotes and set up an appointment. Neither of which happened - I had to call... and today two techs showed up today without any prior knowledge of an appointment.

I chose Vector because all of my neighbors suggested them. I like the service they provide and according to my friends, the price is right. My service today was great, although I feel like I should have known what my issue was with my camera. Lol it just wasn't powered up. They could have charged me just to come out. But they did not. John did a super job. Very thorough and friendly. We appreciate his quality of work. He showed ID upon arriving and although it took a while to diagnose the problem he was successful in resolving all problems. He was also thinking ahead and replaced the 3G modem to save a future service call.

Vector inherited me as a customer from Caine Security. While the initial installation was okay there were problems and another technician was sent out. Tom ** is without a doubt tops in his field. His understanding of the hardware and software is superlative. His ability to "manage" the customer superlative. I have installed "access control" systems in over 30 office buildings. He is the best I have encountered. Now, let's talk about your lack of a user manual. Poor.

Special offer at Columbus Travel Expo was explained well, and it had a competitive price. Our former service by ADT was disappointing, and Vector seems to be a significant improvement. One suggestion is to remove the old smoke detectors, glass break sensor, second wall unit, and all the adhesive from the old window sensors.

Terry was great today. He called ahead to let me know when he would be arriving at my house. He was on time. He checked the garage tilt sensor because I have been having reoccurring problems with it saying its opening and closing but it's not actually moving. He moved the linear box on the ceiling in hopes that the new location will be a better spot. 2 weeks ago a different technician came out for the same problem and relocated the sensor on the garage. However this did not solve the problem. He was great though. I’m very happy with today’s visit from Terry. He is friendly and genuine. I look forward to this problem being resolved.

Today I called Vector Security to ask a simple question about an invoice I received. I was transferred 6 times in the span of 2 minutes and was constantly put on hold mid sentence from rude tellers. I understand the hustle of the morning and how it can be easy to transfer someone when you know where they should go, but it seemed like everyone forgot common manners and phone etiquette. Most of your tellers were short and curt and never gave me full sentence responses. When I reached my final destination I could barely understand my teller, Latasha, and was given attitude when I asked her to repeat a question that I hadn't heard due to the poor connection on her end. I have worked phone lines before and I understand how monotonous and droning it can be, but I never forgot my manners. I am not upset, just overall annoyed at the lack of care given by the employees. I live alone with my daughter and felt having a security alarm in the house would give us a sense of peace of mind. Tech came to help with a camera that was not working and explained that we may want to replace our outdated outside cameras. We agreed. Install scheduled for Feb 27. Tech knowledgeable and answered questions and was kind enough to wait a few extra minutes to explain the install to my husband.

Had Technician come out today to do an Upgrade on alarm system. We ended up adding MVS service, updating smoke detectors to current code, and adding a few additional devices. The technician Don did a great job. Found a couple of zones that we didn't know were bad and corrected them. Always Polite, and Professional.

The operator I spoke with was not sure and arranged for a service individual to call me. I needed my door sensor fixed. The technician was friendly and was willing to hear my concerns. I was having issues with the alarm going off and causing the cops to have to come out. I was recommended to Vector Security by a friend. They offered better services than ADT. I have been a customer since 2004. The staff is fantastic. The technician is very fantastic. I was very happy when Terry came today because of the malfunction of my smoke detector and he solved situation to my satisfaction when. He solved the problem with my smoke detector, and tested it, and showed me everything I needed to do to troubleshoot my keypad in the future. I was very grateful that Terry took the time to replace the batteries in my other smoke detectors as well as my heat detector in the kitchen so that I have peace of mind: Additionally Terry put the new vector security sign in my yard and new stickers in my windows. Because there have been many burglaries in the neighborhood in the past several months, I feel as secure as possible. Scott was very professional and through. Before replacing the device he tried to reset and tested several times. After several test the device was still not working, he checked his truck and didn’t the keypad I needed and scheduled to some back to install. Upon his return two day later the install of the new device was quick and similar to the first visit he checked the device, camera, secondary keypad and all of the entry points thoroughly to ensure everything was working properly. I look forward to working with him again in the future.

From start to finish, it has been a painless and incredibly smooth process dealing with Vector Security. The sales representative never attempted to "up sale" us and sold us exactly what we needed, explaining everything is great detail so we could make the best decision for our security needs. The installation was great and the installer was very personable and did a great job of explaining what was being done. We had to have a follow-up appointment due to having new windows installed at the tech was extremely nice and work fast and efficiently. Chose because it was a local company, have had great response over the life of the system. The ability to upgrade and add on as needed was also a plus. Easy to arm and disarm and different codes for different people.

My company selected Vector to install a security system. The technician arrived on schedule. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained how to use the system and answered all of my questions. He explained how to use the panic buttons. He also explained how to activate the system. He explained we have 30 seconds to exit the building.

Dan was extremely patient in answering all of my questions and I really appreciate that. I have a severe hearing impairment and he made sure he spoke loudly and clearly enough for me to understand everything we were discussing. He checked batteries in my security system remote as well as a carbon monoxide detector that I have in my home. Dan was very professional and I would give him either 5 stars or a 10 on a 1-10 scale!

We currently have Vector on our rental properties and are happy with our services. We have tried for several years to upgrade our system with our current company and other Vector representatives but on numerous occasions the reps failed to show for our scheduled appointments or if they did they failed to follow up or return phone calls. Rick met Stacy ** last weekend at the Va Beach Boat. They exchanged names and numbers. He called within 24 hours of meeting to schedule an appointment and followed up with a text confirming the appointment. The morning of the appointment he arrived on time, was very professional as well as knowledgeable. We were given a quote on the spot. Since the meeting Stacy has done everything he promised. This is a rare combination. We are extremely pleased that we have found Stacy. I wish there were more than 5 stars. I intend on referring him to my real estate clients as well as friends and family.

I received a call from Vector on Wednesday, Feb 7th that my security system had a low battery. The customer service rep. at Vector offered me Friday, Feb 9th to have the battery replaced. I told her I needed to schedule it the following Friday, Feb 16th. I received a call today, Feb 14th, confirming my appt tomorrow. I told her I don't have an appt on Thursday, my appt is for Friday. I was told there were no openings for Friday. I had totally rescheduled my patients at work for this appt and now I'm told they can't get to me until next week. So, now I have to reschedule patients for next week as well I have been a customer for 10 years and am very disappointed in this company. I just got off the phone with a customer service rep. He told me I had to wait until next week and kind of acted like it was my problem. I've already been waiting a week for this battery. Unbelievable!

Terry called to let us know he would be here in 30 minutes, and he was right on time. He diagnosed our glass break sensor problem, repaired the problem, gave a re-demo of the system (it’s been 14 years, so I really appreciated the refresher), helped us change the master code, tested the system - great service! We’ve had no problems with our system since it was installed.

Our installer, Peter **, was excellent. We had dealt with a salesperson originally, but when Peter came to do the install he realized that what the salesperson had signed us up for was not what we wanted. We already had a Vector Camera system and the one proposed was not what we wanted. As a result we selected a different system than originally proposed. We requested to have Peter do the install and he was superb. He was easy to work with and did a thorough and professional installation. It was a pleasure having him in our home. We have a Vector Home Security System and we stay with Vector due to the service personnel with whom we have dealt over the years. Peter ranks at the top of this good group.

I could understand his clear explanation. He is a very understanding person, willing to listen to customer and prompt to handle the matters of customers... We have had some issues that have required service calls, but the issues have been taken care professionally and efficiently. The service technician who has come the last few times is very helpful in explaining how the various components of the system work.

Vector had a system in the house when I bought it so I decided to activate it. We have had to have service techs out several times for separate issues that were out of their control and they have all been very helpful in fixing the issues.

Service was already in the home when we bought it. However we came from Pittsburgh and have always had security systems so it was automatic to have one here in Virginia. We added Cameras that we can view off site and plan on adding additional ones as well as lights. The couple of times the Service Technician has been here he was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

I wanted a non wired system for my home. I had another alarm company but I was not satisfied with them. When I met your salesman Jeff, he seemed very knowledgeable, polite and could tell me exactly what I could expect with this system. Greg did a mighty fine job. He was prompt and did everything in a timely manner. He did well with the inspection and reintegrated objections of all the equipment that's in the home. Vile monitor sensors fire detector, and provided information on other equipment that service provides.

My old alarm system was old and plain Jane. No frills just basic. A friend from church told me about Vector Security alarm service and I called and talked with a salesman about a new alarm service. I am happy with the new alarm. It text and emails me with the daily activities surrounding the alarm functions.

Vector Security bought my alarm company (former co was Security Associates). I was delighted to see Terry who was a former employee of the former company, is now with Vector. He is very efficient and knowledgeable on my NAPCO system and carefully converted my monitoring system to Vector’ as we were having terrible service with COPS Monitoring. I was actually going to try to move to a different service’ but am convinced that Vector is doing well to earn my business.

I used to have another alarm company and was not happy with the old alarm because it was giving me trouble with the phone line. Vector security sales folks was coming through the area and handing out papers on a new alarm that don't need a phone line so we canceled with the old alarm service and had a new Vector alarm put in.

I called Vector for service on my fairly new system. I was surprised when I was told that a technician was available the next day. Wow. The technician Del ** called when he was about an hour out. Upon entering, he immediately covered his shoes and got right work, He explained what he would do, he showed me how to make customizations, and when he was done, all was fixed. Del was very courteous, knowledgeable, and informative.

Vector was already in the house when we purchased it, so we decided to give it a shot. Our initial interaction with Vector has been ok. We were not very pleased with the fact that we had to wait almost two weeks for somebody to come to our home after the salesman Ben was out.

Been with Vector for over 20 years. Very satisfied with customer service. Service calls were prompt & professional. Just upgraded my system & am very pleased w/ the technician. Jim was great, very friendly & explained everything. He arrived promptly & explained what he was going to do. Also, he went over my order to make sure it was what I wanted.

I have had this alarm system for over 8 years. It was hacked at this point. Nothing but cancelation will stop these people. I need to cancel my alarm but they will not let me submit email to stop the service.
