I am very please with my Vector Security Service. I first heard about Vector from my parents. They enlisted the services of Vector Security and they came highly recommended. I am satisfied with the current service and my Vector Sales Representative Susan ** is amazing. She is always very attentive to my needs and gives me her full attention whenever I need anything. I think her service is a major determining factor on why I chose Vector. Thanks.

I was staying at my sister's house and we had an issue with one of the smoke detectors beeping and then we had a knock at the door from the fire department. We didn't think we would get service the same day that we called but Mike came out at 7 pm at night and was very thorough and efficient to diagnose the problem and got us taken care of so that we wouldn't have to hear anymore beeping.

We are very please with the install. The tech Roger and Ricardo did a great job. We have been long time customer with Vector and we are very happy. Vector has a good technical staff. Again very happy with the work the techs have done great job!!!

Very helpful and friendly. Quickly diagnosed problem and we were able to fix all our issues and get the system back up and running. He also showed me how to use bypass and few other functions of the alarm system that we previously did not use.

I could not pay balance with customer service rep- she was very rude and acted like I was inconveniencing her for calling. She then hung up on me because I “called her direct line”, which was the number I was given. Cancel my service please.

Recently with the wind storm we lost power for about 18 hours. Once power was restored for a day I noticed that the main touch panel was still in low battery. I called customer service and got a time set up that worked for me. The technician called about 30 min prior to arriving, He got the battery replaced in no time. He was polite and knowledgeable.

We have been with Vector Security for a few years now and the service has always been a good experience. They were knocking on doors in the neighborhood and we never heard of Vector Security so we signed up since it was a good price. It was a good thing and the service always offer the upgrade so we have the newest equipment.

Anytime I have an issue I know the office will work with me to solve it or set up service. Tracy and Gena are polite and Nick has been the same tech out every time, he has always answered my questions. The company knocked on my door an installed pretty fast but I am happy with Vector Security.

We chose Vector Security because we we had it in our old home for 11 years. The service was great and we never had any issues so we decided to use them in our new home. The salesman was actually the same as our previous home so that was a plus, he answered all our questions and didn’t try to oversell us on things we didn’t need. However, he did let us know what options did exist. The service representative was nice and answered all my questions the day of installation.

My mother had a new Vector System installed and I liked how the installation went and how the prices were compared to ADT. I spoke with a salesperson(Teryl **) and he explained the system and the equipment and prices. Delores ** took the next lead. She contacted me and arranged a time and date that suited my schedule for installation. So far I am happy with the customer service I am receiving. My installation is not scheduled until April 06, 2018 but I am sure it will go well.

I was just here to open up the church for the young man to come service the alarm. He did a pretty good here for explain how all this stuff work and replace the other alarm that won't working right. I think my wife found about the Vector alarm on the computer when she was looking for security for the church. Y'all must had a good special running at the time or some good deal.

Prior to obtaining a new alarm company, when I called you for services and information, you quoted me too many fees. I would like my account services with Vector canceled. We had ADT, we liked the keyless entry feature. Vector has been great in calling when we have had false alarms or actually kitchen smoke. The technician (AJ) has been very knowledgeable and helpful in offering services and suggestions. He listens to our routines and make suggestions as to services that are helpful. I was very happy with the efficient service provided by the tech upon arrival at my residence. He was very professional and quickly corrected the problem. Suggest that he continue to be given an opportunity to represent Vector. I had Vector Alarm system come and replace the old ADT alarm which was very old and worked off of a phone line. I had inquired about an upgraded alarm which later proved to be costly and was basically getting a runaround. I begin to see vector alarm salesman people in the area passing out flyers so we called and had the alarm replaced with a fancy alarm that can text and email you that don't have to have a phone line connected to it.

The alarm does what it is designed to do. I'm a firefighter so my main concern is fire safety and fire prevention. I have fire and hear sensor devices throughout the property. I have the service techs to come out once in a while to maintain the batteries in those wireless devices.

We've had alarm service with Vector Security since we built our house in 2005. They have always been professional and responsive whenever we needed service. We are completely happy with them. Terry was great. Called ahead to let me know he was on his way. Braved the snow storm and got me fixed back up from the previous wind storm (power outage). I thought he was going to have to replace the whole panel but upon troubleshooting he realized we could just replace the aerial which luckily he had in his truck. He checked over the rest of the system to make sure everything looked good and got the Z-wave back online. Great work!

We have Vector for our security at our other home in Florida and decided to put a basic system in this home. Maybe I shouldn't say basic because it does exactly what it is supposed to do. The techs are great and very knowledgeable. If you're looking for a great security company, then Vector is the way to go.

I chose Vector about 2.5 years ago based upon a referral from a friend and after a horrible experience with another company. I could not be more pleased with my decision as customer service from sales to service is awesome. My concerns/repairs are always addressed expediently. Even with today's service call, John **, made sure all of my concerns were addressed to my satisfaction prior to departing. Service was great, was given a time window between 12-4 pm. The technician showed up at 12 pm which was great not having to wait around all afternoon. He did a great job testing each carbon monoxide detector, no shortcuts and replaced ones that did not work. I had a few questions for him that he answered for me regarding different kind of cameras to add to our security system. We've been very happy with our experience so far with Vector from customer service, monitoring and service calls. Would refer to friends and family.

Chose this company because of the Sales person. The young lady who assisted us today was awesome. Overall your company's response is very poor. When we moved, even though I didn't care for your service, it was easier to stay with the company you are with, than start over with someone else, or so I thought, because I called and my husband called trying to get our service moved over to our new address and no one never took the time to call us back. The way it should have happened was the person who answered the call should have taken care of us or directed us to the right person.

Vector has been my security company for more than 25 years. The service is outstanding and excellent. I had Vector on all 3 Urban League training centers. Response time as well service response is outstanding. As far as I am concern there is only one security company I would recommend.

I have vector because my friends have it and told me about their fair prices. I love the way they treat me when I need to talk to them or when they send someone out to check my system. I really like using the app on my phone to arm my system. It's also a plus to get messages about my system from the way I set it up.

This was an existing service at the residence. We wanted to continue the service. The technician was very polite, friendly and on time. Instructed us on the system and was very thorough on the directions to use the security system. Will definitely use the system in the future and will research availability of upgrading the security.

Tech was on time and provided great service. He fully explained everything and quickly changed the battery in our system. Then he tested the system to ensure everything was working correctly. We have been with Vector for over 10 years and highly recommend them!

Was extremely pleased with the service I received from the Michael (the sales representative). He was informative as well as knowing what was needed. The installer was very knowledgeable and even though he had some problems (a Z-wave? was not working) he took the time and effort to correct it.

I was having a failure of a motion sensor. Technician fixed it quickly. He was professional and friendly. No issues at all. He also replaced some batteries in the front door sensor that gives a low battery alarm at times. Thanks for the good work.

On March 6th I had the pleasure of working with Micky ** and Joey **. Both professionals were courteous, informative, efficient and Patient. Micky was thorough and informative and offered several different options. He also took the time to explain each and every feature and make sure I knew how to engage and use. Joey went above and beyond duty!! He replaced stickers and sign was so very thorough. Both Micky and Joey worked together efficiently to ensure a quality experience. Dyan was so excited about the digital thermostat and doorbell camera. I updated my whole house. I love that I can manage my house from my phone. I have no major issues with Vector as a whole however I have not been completely satisfied with their phone response time when it come to service calls. You are left on hold for quite some time before getting a hold of someone. This could be greatly improved. But I must say the technician has been a breath of fresh air.

A friend from work told us about Vector alarm company. We had an alarm system with another company and so did my inlaws next door. We was getting monthly increases. Seem like every other month. So we jumped at the chance to go with another company that would keep the same monthly amount.

It has been giving a good service for years. Prompt response to any detection of unauthorized activity. The Agent was very helpful and providing instructions how to Reset the User Codes. We sold the 2052 Silverwood Drive house in December. They were still beeping in February for the phone line being disconnected, all the time during the day and night!! Then I got notice that it was finally disconnected. However, I got a phone call today that they got a low battery signal from that address?!? Unbelievable and very disappointing!

There has been a problem with the setting since the beginning but they were prompt to ask for payment. My alarm still has problems. I don't know why the garage door is 'not working'!!! Cannot get it right, but you have charged every month and item... Very disappointed. Have talked to a lot of people about problems we have had with this new address and our old one...

Emily ** has been a very helpful person which always answers very diligent to my payment requests. It's a great person to deal any issues of the account, very responsive. Also, she keeps a great follow-up of the account and she had identified billing issues with a good time frame so we could fixed them on time, preventing to have any past due balances.

We had ADT security at first but kept having little issues here and there that we decided to switch to another company that had more up to date equipment with home automation equipment available. Alarm from Vector works as it should.

Never had a problem with Vector, when I did I got contacted by phone fast. I would always get a call for low battery sensors and smoke detector replacement. I have never had a problem, and love Vector Security. Greg did a great job during inspection.

I am very satisfied with the service and installation provided by Jeff. I choose Vector Security because a friend referred me. I am super happy with the service provided by both when scheduling my appointment with the technician who came at the time specified. Jeff made sure I understood how to log on and operate the alarm system. He took the time to help me with the mobile app and how to go through the recordings. We have had Vector Security for a couple of years as our security company and couldn't be happier. Each time we have had an issue or I thought we had a problem Jay comes to our rescue. He is always smiling when I open the door, pleasant, professional and respectful of our home. We don't wear shoes on our flooring and his are always removed when he comes in. Any problems we have experienced were repaired before he left and our system was given a complete check to make sure everything was working. He is patient when I ask questions and takes the time to give me an explanation without making me feel rushed or I am inconveniencing him.
On his most recent visit he noticed we had added a carbon monoxide detector and that we had placed it too high on the wall. Jay explained why and where it should be relocated. We greatly appreciate that extra advice because we had no idea the placement was wrong. It is also nice to see the same familiar face at the door when I need a repair. With many companies you never have the same person and they never get to know you. So glad he is part of the Vector team. Thanks for all you do Jay!!

One of our sensors broke and we had some that needed new batteries. He checked everything, replaced what was broken, and even recommended an additional smoke detector which I agree that we need. He was polite, prompt and professional. He even warned us when he would check the alarm so my kids wouldn't be upset at the siren.

Me and my husband got the system when moving to this neighborhood for peace of mind. The service is great at Vector. The guy came today to check my security system. He did a great job. Then he let me know about upgrades that we can make to have a better experience with the system. We went to wireless communications instead of regular phone line. Now I can receive messages about the system and arm the system through the app. Next we will get cameras.

I was able to speak with Danielle in regards to my mother in law's older system. She has been in the hospital and the neighbor, Sarah needed help to disarm the alarm and Danielle and your staff were able to walk her through the process. I really enjoyed using Vector Security. The staff is friendly and helpful and always has answers to my questions. I would not use any other company other than Vector Security for my security and automation needs. The technician was friendly and helpful. It was very nice when answering my questions. The technician also help me with setting up my doorbell.

We moved onto this house that already had an alarm system that we didn't know anything about and hadn't used it. One day we were out in the yard doing lawn work and a salesman from Vector drove up and was talking about their alarm system. At first we wasn't interested and once his points made sense we decided we would gave Vector a try. We have been using this alarm system now for about 5 yrs.

We have had this security system since we moved into our condo twelve years ago. We are snowbirds and are only in Florida from January until the end of May. We always felt secure with Vector Security. They were always reliable and reasonably priced.

Torrence called 30 minutes prior to arriving. He identified himself as a Vector employee and showed me his badge prior to entering the house. Torrence replace the smoke detector, tested the system, and explained everything before and after the installation. Torrence was very profession and completed the work quickly and efficiently. Overall, he did an excellent job.

I had a problem with my smartphone app and the customer service from the Boardman Ohio location was outstanding!!! She made sure that it was up and working properly before she got off the phone. She was also very informative and polite.

Malik did a great job with the install. He explained location of where things would go, how they worked and recommended alternative options for my windows since we do not have WiFi. He was very pleasant and friendly. It was a long install but he worked independently and was respectful of my time and my work (from home).

We talked to Vector Security at the home and garden show and received a discounted price through the show and we're very happy with that, the monthly price is reasonable and comes with a ton of extras such as an automated door lock and motion detector. The installer was friendly and answered all questions and installed everything perfect. We are very happy to finally have a security system.

The technician called before arriving and he was on time. He explained the issues to us and checked the system thoroughly. He installed new equipment where needed and replaced a broken key fob. His service was great. He was competent, skilled, and friendly.

Jim was very knowledgeable and did a superior job (cameras installed). He took his time to make sure everything was working to our liking. Job took longer than expected due to our poor internet service but he worked until up and running perfectly.

Chosen to supplement current Vector service. Installers Ian and Ricardo were very efficient and highly professional. They clearly explained everything and were very patient while I asked questions and learned the system. Ian was very helpful with after hour assistance concerning my wife's cell phone app issues after initial installation. They work well together as a very effective team and deserve a bonus. I will recommend Vector and the team of Ian and Ricardo.

My dad had seen Vector signs and window tags around the town and several of our friends already had the Vector service so we called and had our old alarm serviced switched out to Vector alarm also. It's been in for years and only had an issue with a motion sensor that turned out to be defective.

Terry called ahead of time to give me a half hour window, which I had requested. Was courteous and on time. He explained how the alarm system works, what to do in the future if the situation occurs again and also explained the window sensors and what to do if I have a problem with them. He replaced a defective fire alarm, rearmed my system and I now feel secure that everything is working properly. He also cleaned up all debris. He was great.

I previously had Comcast in my home and was not pleased with their service. Mike installed a new DSC system in my home with Burglar, Smoke, and carbon monoxide protection. We also had Cameras, thermostats, lock, and a Video Doorbell put in. I am pleased with the service I have received.

The tech who was out today was great - very friendly and skilled. The customer service rep I spoke to over the phone yesterday was very good too. My experience with the folks who work at central station has not been great though. I also think the phone system is pretty bad - every time I call in I get transferred multiple times. The customer service at Vector is not as personal as it was with Security Associates.

The service was good. Arrived promptly and completed the task effectively. Panel is now working properly - good service call. The battery change was done quickly. Why did I choose Vector? What's your Vector for home security reasons are to protect the house and family while I'm away from my home. The action with the technician went very well. I've had Vector for nearly 19 years. I stay with the company because of the quality of the product and the people. I am very happy with the service I received today. The home security market is extremely competitive, and I believe that the systems need to be advanced, but the service people are critical to keeping customers. I live by myself and my son suggested that a burglar alarm with fire system was needed. Unsure how Vector was picked. The alarm work like it ought to and it do its job. The serviceman that come out when needed have been very friendly and check out the alarm to make sure it work every so often.

There was another company's alarm service in the house when we bought it. We were gonna use them but they were gonna be charging more than we felt was reasonable so we shopped around for better services. Vector was the best price for all the features we wanted.

The Vector Security service person was professional. He was supposed to install the smoke detectors and the new doorbell. He completed the installation for the smoke detectors. He needs to come back to install the doorbell, but he explained that he needs to talk with the electrician first.

The technician was very helpful with my problem. I don't know wasn't working and the technician was able to fix me right up. Technician also walked with me to my house and noticed that we didn't have any monitored smoke detectors. The technician probably offered me five areas where I could use smoke detector but we decide To cover just the upstairs and downstairs.

Don was very friendly and competent. He introduced himself, reviewed the service ticket, diagnosed the problem, and explained what corrective actions were needed. After repairing the system, Don tested it. While he was there, he identified another problem that we were unaware of. He quickly fixed that and adjusted the service invoice. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

This is the worst experience I've ever had with any security company. Vector security employees are dishonest and corrupt. I cannot wait until my contract is over so I can change to another company. I have told everyone I can... how bad this company truly is.

One of my colleagues at work, Errol ** referred me to Vector. So far things are fine. This was my first problem. When I called, everyone was courteous. When I stated my problem to the customer service rep, he was great with trying to create some solutions. My problem was the thermostat wasn't working. Turns out it was a simple battery change but I was so happy that someone responded timely.
