They were the service in the house when we purchased. Have been very happy with the Services since we joined. Today’s technician was very efficient and helpful. I couldn’t remember some of the things for the alarm system so he was able to provide me with some refresher information.

Positive reviews, existing system in home, friendly people. Tech was very patient and answered all my questions & concerns! Install was done very cleanly. Even made sure all batteries were fresh and ready to go. Took time to show how to use the system and app. Very pleased with setup and everything looks ready to go! This is an add on to my Vector Security system. The staff was very knowledgeable of the job that was done. He walked me through everything I need to know about the lock and answered questions and concerns I had about the lock. The installation went well. A check of $99 was given to the staff for the deadbolt installation. Thank you.

I have been a Vector Security customer for about seven to eight years. Vector Security has been very prompt and efficient in dealing with any service issues. The customer service representative which scheduled my last service call did an excellent job.

I used Vector to protect my home. The company provided a new keypad, control panel, and cell. They also used my smoke detectors and contacts. I will recommend Vector to my friends and family. We will also get interactive services at some point. They also provided 5 contacts at no charge.

Moved into area and noticed most all the neighbors already had burglar alarm systems installed. Checked the yellow pages for burglar alarm company's and vector was the first to respond. The alarm systems have been updated about 3 times so far since we've had Vector for nearly seventeen years and counting. No issues with the alarm. Great service.

A reputable company should not resort to scare tactics, Mr. **. Strike one.

Purchased the home and a Vector system was already installed. We decided to activate the existing system. Upon its activation, we experienced a couple of issues... a low Main CPU battery and a false alarm from our Living Room windows. Jerry came and fixed both issues. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and efficient.

Keypad dysfunctional for several months. Called twice about it and was put on hold indefinitely. Decided to cancel and go with bundle from Comcast. Called to cancel, spoke with Metty **, who was very polite and accommodating. Very easy to understand. She emailed me within 5 minutes of the phone call. Metty gets 5 Stars.

Agata ** was extremely helpful and responsive. We received our revised certificate within 24 hrs. The Installation technician was also very efficient, and professional when upgrading our system yesterday.

I called to request my certificate for Insurance purposes. Agatha was so pleasant and accommodating. She seemed genuinely interested in helping with other issues which led to a resolve on an issue I was not even aware of. I've had an incorrect contact number saved on my account which has prohibited me from being contacted on 2 occasions when my alarm went off. Best customer service received from an agent since I purchased my system. Way to go Agatha. You really revived my faith in customer service.

We had originally had Vector due to a recommendation from a neighbor. We decided it was time that we needed to upgrade our system with something cellular. Jeff and Mike were excellent to deal with. Mike was very thorough and described every item and its purpose. He was pleasant to deal with.

My store has a new Vector security system, but the keypad was malfunctioning. The technician from Vector, Chuck, installed new keypad wire across the store and connected it within 30 minutes! It now works well and I am satisfied with my alarm system.

Peter was very nice when we spoke and very courteous at our appointment. He installed everything with good timing and had no issues, and left no mess. Very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions efficiently. He showed me how to set up the system online with ease and it is an easy layout so it's not difficult to understand. Vector put in a new alarm system with the alarm app. I really like to app; Chuck explained the system well and I will refer Vector to friends and family. We now have our new business protected and hope to add Vector cameras later.

I signed up with Vector because they were door knocking in the area. Needed a system for my home so I signed up and installed same day. The service has been great and really like that I get the same technician so I feel comfortable with letting them in my house.

Vector Security installed a new alarm system with cell. Chuck is a tremendous technician and taught me about alarm.com automation and rules extensively. I really like to doorbell and outdoor camera and smart deadbolt lock. I will recommend Vector to my friends.

The new installation went well... It took about three hours but was very thorough. I noticed that the camera doesn't always pick up someone approaching the house unless they ring the doorbell or stand on the porch for awhile. That is when I will receive an alert.

Have had Vector before with a previous address and love the service to continue with it as we have moved. We have door, window, and one motion detector in the current house. Also have the smart phone app for vector that makes life easier when exiting from another door than the front. I work a mile away and like knowing that I can lock the door from work if I forgot.

Already had Vector Security alarm at my first home in Greensboro NC when I relocated to Raleigh NC. I was happy to have them reconnect an alarm in my new home. Never had any problems with the alarm until the upstairs smoke detector battery decided to run low in the wee hours of the morning.

Everything went great! At first Vector and ATT went back and fourth blaming each other for the static in our phone line. The customer service lady insisted it was ATT fault... and really tried not to send someone out... but we insisted and I'm glad we did because Rob ** checked ATT's lines and Vector's and found the fault in Vector's lines... and step by step went through the lines and fixed the problem! I am thankful for Rob because my mom has stage 4 cancer and needs her telephone to stay in contact with the visiting nurse and doctors. Thank you for everything!

Michael from Vector came in to review our security system as some cameras were not working. He did an excellent job and explained what the issue was. At the conclusion of his work, all cameras were working properly. I would highly recommend Michael.

Dining room windows registered a false alarm at 3:30 a.m. We had a similar problem about a year ago and there was a problem with the hardware on the windows, so we wanted a technician to evaluate the sensors.

I didn't start out with Vector but it seems like a very good company. I have an alarm system third so we're going to promise he had worked for us. My alarm system consist of a smoke detector, door monitors, two motion detectors. We use the alarm system when we go out of town.

No one ever answer the phone, just a recording, then it's days before they call you back. I have been trying for a week to get to talk to someone. It would be great to talk to a human and get a answer to my concern asap.

We have been customers of the original company for quite some time. Your technician stopped by to change our signs and stickers. He looked our system over and suggested we upgrade to a newer system due to the age of the one we had. The salesperson that came out explained the many options available and we were able to make a decision on what we needed. The technician came back a couple days later and installed the new system, showed us how to use it and set it up on my cell phone. Tech Help! Vector service plan because the upstairs panel was not functioning and it was given off alarms. Vector actually was trying to contact me because they were getting a faulty signal. I called back monitoring. What my problem was is that I was so surprised it took two weeks to be able to get a technician here for a fairly simple fix. There’s no equipment repair. We just had to reprogram one panel to talk to the main panel and I’m just surprised at how long it took to get help. Thank you.

I called to get a upgrade on my home security and to have your cameras removed out of my home because I didn't like the quality of the cameras. The technician showed up without the deadbolt door lock on 2 occasions, he disconnected my keypad in my master bedroom, that still hasn't been replaced yet. The technician was an hour late and I didn't receive a call to let me know that until after the appointment time. I had to work.

My family and I have worked with the Vector Security system for over 12 years. It's effective and doesn't come up with many problems. Service is always great; everyone is very friendly and respectful. I would definitely recommend Vector to a friend.

Now I know why when I ask for reviews of top home security...You are not listed. I can never get to a person, when they call back they ended up calling my daughter. That should not have happen. She is an emergency only... Other than that--I am the only person to contact. The rep calling me gave up too fast. It was easier to call the next person. I am looking at ADT or FrontPoint. They appear to be more consumer oriented. I now find out that I cannot control the info on my account such as contacts.... Who can be called. It appears to be non user friendly.

18 years with Vector doors and windows. The service guys are 5 star. In fact they deserve a raise. Tim is wonderful and has taken good care of me. He is such an asset to your co. I always tell the central center when I call that I love my vector. I have told a lot of people to use your co.

The house at first had a alarm system put in from the local ADT security man here in town. Seem like it was hard to get him to come out to work on stuff when something go wrong. Some new alarm company people came around one day trying sell their new alarm equipment that don't need a phone line for it to work so we went with it. It's been working fine for years up until recently it start beeping when some of the battery on the window alarm need to be replace.

Tech was on time and called when 15 minutes away. Both visits were professional an done in a short time with no problems. All requested work was done. The tech was polite and knowledgeable. The work was explained well and the site was left undisturbed and clean.

Agata told me that I might be able to transfer my current alarm permit and gave me the phone number for the sheriff's office. I was able to transfer my permit saving me money and the hassle of obtaining a new permit. Thanks so much! She was terrific.

We have Vector and we installed a fob access to our door from a different company. When I called to ask for assistant I was asked why we did not call Vector and I said, "Because I did not know you did that service." That is on Vector marketing to existing customers. That was on April 16th. Then we had to wait for the wire/part to be ordered. Once the wire came in we then had to get put on the schedule. We finally had it installed yesterday. The installation was less than 20 min. Can you please tell me why it cost $610.00???

Vector salesman just showed at the door one day. Unsure why since there was a ADT out front of the house. Actually it was three of them signs out there. The Vector man had a better deal and lower monthly fee so the switch over wasn't a hard thing to do.

Great company. My only complaint with Vector Monitoring is that when a call comes in if the system is set off, the phone number listed as a 1-800 number. It should identify as "Vector" so that I as a person who screens calls, will answer. Dog set off my system this AM. I almost did not answer my iPhone since it said 1-800. Thanks.

The Vector alarm was in the home at the time the home was purchased. It was already working so we just reused the same alarm. It work like it supposed to. Never had no problems with it. Just turn it on and turn it off every day or night.
