Greg did a great job today explaining the overall expectation criteria. Along with going around and inspecting all my devices and ensuring that all my devices are in full functional mode. We discovered that one of my devices needs to be fixed. The review of all the new devices and upgrades that are available which I will discuss with my wife.

Today I had Jeffrey service and check out our entire system. He was here on time, explain thoroughly what he was going to accomplish and completed his work quickly. Our VECTOR system is four years old and it was time to have all the detectors batteries replaced in the system checked. And I am very happy to know I know all is well.

I moved into my home a few years ago and the system was already here, l fell in love with system and the company, for whatever reason I call this company makes me feel like I'm a priority. The technician that came out was quite knowledgeable and professional. To my surprise my system had a bad battery and a new system was installed on the spot which made me very happy. I love "Vector Security".

I have had a Vector Security system for over 10 years and one of my wireless sensors went bad. The first person who came out was an installer of new equipment and didn't have the right sensor or wasn't knowledgeable about the system. The next service person was Jeremy **. He was so professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Employees like Mr. ** should be the face of Vector. He is awesome at what he does and possibly should be in a managerial role. Please pass on my appreciativeness for all his help today!

My daughter and son in law currently have Vector for their security. After calling several other companies, I found it to be the best value. Both Michele and Greg were friendly and helpful. The install didn’t take that long and the system was up and running quickly.

Carl had to design a new modification to accommodate the Renewal by Anderson Windows I had installed with the screen sensors. He came out before the screens were ordered and carefully established that the system would work and then conscientiously installed them. He did an exceptional job -- high level of technical proficiency plus great customer service. Carl definitely helped make up for some of the other less than desirable aspects of dealing with Vector (weak follow up, screens took more than double the promised amount of time, billing for work that had not been performed, etc.). The rating for customer service is for Carl, not for Vector. I would give Vector 1-2 stars for customer service apart from Carl.

We chose Vector because when we bought the house there was already a Vector system installed and when the salesman came out he gave us the best price for a new system. Mike was prompt, efficient, and went through the system and explaining it in detail to my husband and I.

I have been trying to cancel my service with Vector. I have another service. I'm paying for 2 services because I can not talk to anyone that can help. I talk to a rude lady who put me on hold for over 30 min. Next step will cost me more to stop payment, and possible a lawyer.

I called the office concerning a problem with the security not working. The response was quick and adequate and the customer service from the representative was prompt and efficient. The representative at the home office was courteous, patient and good communication skills. Thank you Vector.

I had a service scheduled for today because my system was losing power and we couldn't figure out why today my system seemed to be working properly and I was worried the technician would be unable to find the cause. Jon was able to identify the cause quickly and repair it in a timely fashion. I was very impressed with the technicians efficiency identifying and correcting my troubles. I'm a very satisfied customer.

The tech was on time worked around my business and customers. When he finished installation he explained to me how to used my new alarm system where I can understand it and went over the alarm.com website and mobile app. with me.

Started out with alarm service from another security provider until the rates for the monthly bill begin to increase on the regular for no rhyme or reason. Once we were feed up some sales team showed up in the subdivision with a new promotion on their alarm system so we changed our alarm provider to them. Vector Security comes out to service it when needed.

We opted to come back to Vector Security based on our original experience with the company and the integrated home security experience available thru the app/camera/door lock. The sales process was timely and led to confidence that we were making the right decision. Then, during installation, the experience deteriorated. First - we did not learn until after the purchase that the installation would be a multi-day process. In our case - a total of 3 days over nearly 2 weeks. Second - the first day of installation (on which my husband took a day off work to attend to the technician), there was a communication error in the office and the technician was sent to safety training. Thus, he arrived 3 hours late. Third - the technician was provided defective products - door lock specifically - that further delayed the install.
After day 2 - when the door lock issue was unable to be remedied, we learned it would be 8 days until a new door lock would be installed. This was the primary entry point in our home and, essentially, left us in a less safe home security situation than before we started (a fully functioning system was removed). My experience culminated in a first install (3rd day) when the manager arrived to oversee the activities were completed. In the end - we're done and the system is working. Would I refer a friend? Definitely not until the customer experience issues are addressed. There are clearly staffing and communication issues at this location that need to be address for a cleaner process and better customer experience.

I chose the reinstalled Vector Security because I am still under contract and the prior company-wide and stated they would pay out the contract and then failed to do so. I'm under contract until 2020. Then we'll again reevaluate company options. Your customer service technician today was thoughtful knowledgeable and professional.

June 10th I called (on my landline) the service department in hopes of finding a solution to my problem. When I opened the door to the house I failed to turn off the alarm and walked around for a while before turning off the alarm. Vector did call later and check in to be sure everything was ok. The problem I later realized was the siren alarm never sounded.
June 11th I called Vector’s service department and spoke with a technician explaining my problem (on my landline), the siren never sounding. After a while the tech suggested that I arm my system and then open the door with the alarm activated. I did this and waited. After a while and no call from Vector, I checked my phone and there was no dial tone. I called back (on my cell phone) to Vector and told the tech the problem, no dial tone and no siren. After some tests the tech said Vector could have a tech at my house on June 20th. Over a week wait. I said no way, I’ll be without my phone and no alarm service. She said she could turn it in as an emergency, costing me extra charges and they would come sooner. Again I said no way and she said she would have her supervisor contact me.
The super calls and tells me to go to the control box and unplug the phone line. Did this and still no dial tone. He tells me it’s my problem and I have to deal with it. That meant calling the phone company. The phone was working prior to my calling in and while I was talking with the tech. It stopped when the tech ran a test???? No I have no dial tone, no alarm and no system monitoring. This is no way to treat a customer!

I called to get a service certificate faxed to the insurance company and was informed by Rashana (no last name given) that she had to forward it to a different tech so that it could be faxed over and that it would be faxed in 30 minutes. Well, after I got home (~an hour later), My agent called and had not received the fax. I called back to get the fax and spoke with Carlos ** who took care of everything for me and had the certificate faxed over while I sat on the phone. Rashana needs professionalism training and Carlos deserves a reward.

The technician was great during the install. Before he started went over what he was going to do. After the install was finished showed me what was done and explained to me how the use my new system and its features. Keep it simple so I can understand the alarm. I have had Vector now for about 1 year. Rick, my rep did an amazing job spec'ing out my system and Jeremy did an impeccable job installing it. I love my system. My wife loved the system. Then one day, some door to door salesman came and tried to sell me on their product. I caved. BIG MISTAKE! They had no idea the depth and trouble Rick and Jeremy went through in designing the system. I have standard door and window security plus a bunch of very cool home automation tech. I cancelled the "Roving Gypsies" door to door salesman "System" that their tech couldn't get to work and came crawling back to Vector.
Not only did they come out right away to get me back to normal, but since I stopped the "gypsies" pretty quickly, they were able to hook me back up without additional fees. I will never switch. Vector has the people that know what they are doing, the customer support people who truly care and the Sale Reps that truly want their customers to feel safe, secure and comfortable with their decisions. There are a lot of "security" companies out there... but there is only ONE choice. Vector!

I thought the presentation and the options for this system was good. The installment date came and although the mechanisms for the doors and lamp were installed they were missing the doorbell camera. It's been about 2 or more months and I still don't have my doorbell camera. I like to have what I pay for and right now I'm not too much of a happy customer.

I had a Monitronics System and Vector 'took over' my account. I received a card in the mail for a system update. I called to make an appointment and had one promptly scheduled. My technician Jeff was an excellent technician. He was very accommodating, polite, and knowledgeable in his work. Jeff answered all of my questions in a patient, pleasant, and very professional manner. He worked quietly and efficiently, taking care to be very neat and precise in all of his work!

I just relocated to a new home in other part of the state and had used another alarm system provider in the past and recall seeing many people between the old neighborhood and now the new neighborhood with Vector Security signs affront their homes or property. Figured it must be something good going in with that and decided to give vector security a try as well.

Vector Security offered a good value for our video and automation powered security system. I like the indoor camera and power deadbolt lock. They replaced my control panel and keypad and used a cell device instead of a phone line. I will recommend Vector Security.

I've been a customer of Vector for 10 years and really have had no issues. However, recently I called to inquire about upgrading my system due to phone line issues and a desire to switch the communication to cellular. I was pressed for time as I'll be away for 3 weeks without the monitoring service working. The original sales rep I was assigned to left the company and my request fell thru the cracks for about 3 weeks... Scott called and visited my house the next day and get everything straightened out. Same system as was is before. Very happy with it. All windows and doors were done. Every service technician who came out was very good. The interactive service with the phone app is very convenient when we travel. The notifications and the ability to remotely arm and disarm the keypad are a big plus.

The install time of the upgrade was shorter than anticipated. And the technician did a great job explaining the upgraded wireless system. The upgrade appears to be family friendly and my family will surely appreciate the ease of use. New and improved technology never felt so good. Chuck installed a new alarm system with a cell communicator along with a doorbell camera and 2 exterior camera. Had never even heard nothing about vector alarm. We used to have another security alarm we was at the mall in Goldsboro and had put our name in a box to win a lawn tractor and when they call the names we didn't win the tractor instead we won a security alarm for the house. A fellow here in town put the alarm in and later on the vector people took it over for service work.

The technician was great, but the customer service dept. scheduled him to come very early in the AM, knowing that this is a business and doesn't open until 10. The voicemail that I got about the tech missing me, since I was closed, was a little snarky and she spoke so fast I couldn't hear the callback number. When I called I sat on hold for at least 15 minutes and then got disconnected, after hearing what sounded like an open phone with people just talking to each other. Luckily the tech was able to come back.

I asked for a letter confirming monitoring for my insurance company. For whatever reason I was not able to receive the letter via my aol account. The ladies tried several times and today I got what I needed through a second email address. The ladies were as nice as could be when I called again and emailed my request. Sensor became sensitive a few weeks ago and had to have it serviced. Rich was great. He was efficient and helped me understand the possible problems with the sensor. He corrected the problem without having to change the sensor, but if it continues, I will have to replace it.

We at first had another security alarm in the house for a long time. When the monthly bill just kept going up higher we shopped around for a better deal. We had gotten an alarm system put in by a local alarm company that eventually became a part of a Vector alarm group. That's basically how we ended up with Vector.

We got the alarm after there had been some people breaking into homes in the area. The alarm was put in by a local company in the area that did contract security alarm work under Vector Security alarm name. We happy with the alarm just sometimes it gets a little finicky with a contact sensor. It sometimes makes the alarm panel beep steady when a contact housing cover isn't all the way closed on properly.

The wiring looks like a first grader performed the install. The technician pulled the existing phone line and it is taped together. Very disappointed in the way it looks. Should have going with a wireless system. The technician was very nice and knowledgeable, however the quality of the install is sub par where the connection starts. I've been too busy to call about it.

My brother first had the system installed for me. I have had very good experience with the system. I always get fast responses when I have had alarms go off and patience when I have called with questions. My tech, Jeff arrived in a very timely manner, was very courteous, kept me apprised as to what my phone failure meant and worked on correcting the problem. Contact Vector with a panel alarm. Contacted your service department and Danielle ** answered the call. She was able to find the problem and we corrected the reason for the alarm. The next problem was the panel continued to beep. Danielle followed up with one option and when that did not work she walked us through the panel that silenced the panel.

We previously had Vector Security and decided to go with them again because of the knowledgeable staff who work for them. From getting a quote, to the installer, the job was very professionally completed. Chris, our installer was very polite and answered all of our questions. He offered suggestions as to location of fire alarms, etc. and was accommodating when we changed one of them around. He took time to explain all the functions of the alarm system in detail and made sure we were comfortable with the system before he left. Cleaned up all the work areas also. A great experience.

We decided to do an upgrade of our system as it was over 17 years old and we chose Vector because they had purchased our previous company. Chris came out and answered all my questions and was not pushy on trying to sell me something that I didn't want and Mike the installer called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way to me and showed up earlier then expected. The home had a burglary within the first year of moving into it where someone had kicked down the front door. We immediately called for security for the home and a local Vector contractor was able to come out the next day. Been happy with the Vector alarm for many years and just updated to a new model today.

Torrence called in before his arrival time and was very accomodating on meeting my arrival time. He arrived when he advised he would be here. Very professional by showing his badge and addressing me by name. He came in and took a look at what was going on with system and told me everything he would be doing. Great customer service. I only had a minor issue with the system after installation and they helped us resolve it without hassle and have had no problems since. Best part was the touchscreen interface which replaces the older style button pad, it was simple and clean and provides useful information. Highly recommended.

We initially switched alarm companies two weeks ago because of billing issues. Vector was able to use our original alarm panel to activate service with them. After that, we had a trouble issue with the panel. Vector came at no charge to make the adjustment to the alarm. We are very happy.

I am very dissatisfied with vector security service. I agreed to pay my bill on time for service. I have paid now going on 5 years now, because that is the contract that I signed. But service has not been provided except for about the 1st year. My alarm quit working, so when I called about service, I was told that I would have to upgrade my system and sign another contract to get service that would work. My daughter made several attempts to contact and work out service or to discontinue contact. She was told that I had to pay for the 5 years and would have to upgrade my system.
My daughter ended up taking alarm system completely out of my house, because they continued to send signal making it beep at night while I was trying to sleep. Why they were sending a signal when they knew that it was not working. And why they did this in the middle of the night, I will never figure out. I would never recommend this company to anyone because they were never willing to do anything except take your money.

Through the process it was realized that Vector had superior pricing as well as service connected with their products. The install was fine, but I believe I should have gotten more equipment. I was thinking that I would have to pay extra for more sensors than what I already had since I moved from a 2 story box house to a ranch style home with more windows so I didn't include all windows in the new house when I gave info for the future installation. Only after I gave the info, a few days later, I was told if I signed another 5 year contract, there wouldn't be a charge for the equipment. I hope to hear from someone soon on this matter.

Fran, the branch manager answered many questions before the work started and called to follow up when the work was completed. Jared coordinated the work by walking though the process (and our house) with me and explained what the update would entail and ordered the new equipment. Derek who was intelligent, personable and professional installed our new system. John even stopped by in between jobs to see if he could assist Derek. This rating is solely about the technician Nick who was amazing. Tech was top notch, was here for very long time, never once became overwhelmed or frustrated, even fixed issues with our sensors on 2nd floor that we thought were working but weren't and never did. Very professional. His job was all about getting us back on track no matter how long it took. He went above and beyond anything I ever expected of him. I’m glad he was the one who came to my door this morning. Usually people dread service calls or having people in their home. Michelle has gone above and beyond in order to help us achieve our security goal without lengthening our contract or financially putting us in more of a burden to better secure our home just after moving in 6 months ago and already having our cars broken into 3 times in the last 3 weeks! We have had Vector for 4 years & received a postcard in the mail notifying us of a service plan that we had so we decided to call and schedule a service appt. Our Tech, Scott called me to announce when he would be arriving and came on time for our appt. He was courteous, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about my security system. He replaced all batteries in my sensors, and gave us a new fire detector, and 2 new glass breakage sensors. We are very happy with Vector's service and monitoring.

I have Vector Security also in my house in Wilmington, Delaware. I allow different service people to enter my house when I am not there. Each of these service people have different security codes and I receive a text when they enter and/or leave my house. Occasionally I have problems implementing these codes. Tim ** is very professional and takes care of my security problems immediately. He answers all my questions. It is a pleasure to deal with Mr. **.

The service agent called beforehand and arrived on-time. The service agent was knowledgeable about all the questions I had and provided the service required. The service provided was quickly accomplished and I am very satisfied with the work provided. I don't see how the service could have been better.

We chose Vector over the other competitors because of their fast response to our request for information, the plan they offered and their courteous response when service was needed. The company is well known in our area and many recommended that we contact Vector for our security needs. Every service person was very knowledgeable about their product and didn't pressure me into buying extras. With my service plan, I know I can count on just placing a call and my needs are well received and met.

I requested an alarm certificate from an employee on Friday, explaining that I needed it quickly for my insurance company, but did not receive it. This morning I requested it again, but from Agata, who sent it to me within a two hour time period. Her service was outstanding, unlike the gentleman I spoke to on Friday.

Your technician Ray did an excellent job at upgrading our security system. He took his time and went above and beyond to explain how to use the app on our phone. He even moved the app to our main screen to make it more convenient and easier to access.

I chose Vector Security after having ADT. I was not impressed with ADT so I decided it was time for a change. Vector security came out and delivered prompt service. I have up to date equipment and experienced great customer service. Vector security is who I'm recommending to all of my friends and family.

Technician called on the way. Arrived on time. Also cleaned up after he was done. Reviewed what work needed to be done before service began. When he was finished he explained everything he did to fix everything. Explained any additional services that would be beneficial to me in my lifestyle. I was completely satisfied with the technician today.
