    We have been with Vector for a long time. We are very happy with everything. We always receive great customer service whenever we call, whenever a tech would come out they are always friendly and helpful. Today we had a tech by the name Roger. He was great, very friendly, very knowledgeable, just all around a great guy. He worked so hard trying to get our cell module as he called it the best. Signal was not easy. We live in the middle of nowhere. He didn’t think it was going to work however he finally found a spot with 2 bars. Took some work to wire it but did a great and professional job doing it.     We did not choose Vector Security. Our account was sold to them 1 year ago. Since we have been with Vector, we have had multiple false alarms. On each occasion, when calling your office to tell you it was false and not to send the police, we were told you had no record of our alarm going off. We believe our premises have not been monitored at all for the entire year. No one ever offered to come out and check the system even when we told them we wanted to upgrade.

    In attempting to cancel our service on 8/30/18 by email, we were told you needed a letter of cancellation and that an email was not good enough. Your service department was more interested in that letter than they were about why we wanted to cancel. Not once were we asked that question. Apparently your agents could care less when customers are not satisfied. This has been one of the worst experiences with a service company and will never recommend your services.

    I don't even know where to begin. This company is a joke! First they trick you into a 5 yr contract by telling you if you are dissatisfied you can cancel at any time which is false! Then when you have a problem with your system it takes them weeks to get someone out to see you after you wait an hour on hold to even speak to anyone only to be told to call back Monday! The service Tech they sent out looked to be all of 16 yrs old and knew absolutely nothing about what the problem was. The company should also look into a personal hygiene policy for all their employees because isn't nothing nastier than an employee with very bad body odor representing your company.

The system upgrade and design effort by Ben ** was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The initial installation of August 10 and 13 by your service tech named Chuck created an atmosphere where we seriously considered terminating all business dealing with Vector Security. These numerous issues have been previously identified in emails to your operations personnel and therefore will not be reiterated here.

    To Crystal **'s credit she did not question or challenge the initial installation short comings by Chuck, and subsequently assigned Kevin ** to correct all the initial screwups and deceptive installation practices of Chuck. Kevin completed the corrective measures and final installations on September 6th, and restored our faith in Vector Security. We rarely complain about company employee shortcomings, so a word to the wise, please take these comments very seriously.

    I called and talked to Shannon ** (she was great) about lowering my bill. She told me I could upgrade and extend my contract to get a lower price I told that offer. I talked with Jody at ** to schedule my appointment on Wed 8/22 from 11-1. I called the 912 number back on 8/22 at 1:38pm because the tech had never showed up and I had not gotten any kind of call about tech running late. The person at the ** said the tech had not called them about a problem. She was going to call him and call me back in 5 min.

    I never got a call back from anyone at the 912 number, then at 2:37pm the tech called and said, "I am running behind and after I finish this person I have to go back to the office to get a part I need to install your system." I got off the phone with the tech and called the ** number because no one had called me back as promised. I called to tell the person to cancel my new order. I will get service with someone else. She began to tell me I would have to pay a cancellation fee. Because I told her I had something to do and I was not losing money again waiting on a tech to come out she told me, "Let me talk to my supervisor to see if we can give you a free doorbell camera or something." (Have not receive a call back yet from this young lady.)

    Then at 3:53pm the tech show up. He said, "I’m going to install what I have and will come back on Thursday to install the missing part." He said, "I will make call you to see when you will be home on Thursday to install the missing part." (Who know what that part is?) As of today 9/4 the tech have not called to bring the missing part and the young lady still have not called me back about what they can do for me for missing a whole pay day. I have put a reminder on my phone to cancel service with Vector Security. I have been a customer for a long time and when a company don’t care about their customers it’s time to go.

    Honestly - people at Vector just don't care. We are a long term customer (nearly 2 decades) leaving, and no one even asked why when we called to cancel. Just said email them instead. Ugh. Your service is truly terrible - complained for years to deaf ears. Sometimes we get a call when the alarm is tripped, sometimes not... When we asked why, only excuses and no follow up.

    Last straw was last week when we received literally 50 calls within an hour because the 'battery was low' - just kept calling and calling every number on our list every 3 minutes or so. If you want to tell your customers how much you can't stand them and want them to leave, keep using this technique. I don't have time while at work to call your company and say stop calling - and to have a system so stupid as to call every time the packet receives a message of a low battery shows how outdated your company is.     First, to make it clear, we did not choose Vector Security. We originally had Security Associates as our provider. The service from them was exemplary. Questions were answered immediately, either by phone or with a tech appearance. Since Vector took them over, it's as if we were just put on the back burner. Vector has been collecting our monthly fee, with no visit or contact from anyone.

    A couple of weeks ago, a nearby lightning strike fried our electronics (our modem, router, and security camera DVR). When we called in for service, we were told that Vector had no record of our owning the DVR and cameras. This is sort of understandable, given this was a takeover transfer of information. Fortunately, my secretary keeps impeccable records, and was able to provide Vector with the information. However, it took over a week to get a tech out here to evaluate our situation. The tech determined that the DVR was damaged, and advised us to get a new one. Your company wanted 1100 dollars for the unit, plus installation!! Then we were told, that if we had purchased a service contract with Vector, we wouldn't have to bear this cost. As I said previous, we have never been contacted by any rep from Vector to advise us of this.

    I have since purchased the exact same unit (new) at a cost of 200 dollars. I am having trouble setting it up. I called the manufacturer to have someone "walk" me through the set up, but was told that they cannot talk to me. That I would need a "security professional" onsite to do what is needed. I called Vector, and was told that the earliest I could get a tech out here would be next week. And it would cost me another service call charge!!! As a business owner, I realize that things happen. But, if I treated my customers this way, I wouldn't stay in business long. And, frankly, I'm getting tired of being treated as the "red-headed stepchild". I've now been about a month with no security cameras.
