Jeff, was really a pleasure. He is very competent and was very thorough. He took his time to complete the job well. He checked all of the door sensors and batteries. He tested the alarm system and explained how the system works. I have been a long time customer of Vector Security and have been very pleased with the company over the years! Jeff has serviced by house twice and on both occasions, I have been extremely satisfied with his service. Thank you for sending a wonderful technician!

We have had Vector for over 14 years now, their service has been great, we have been very happy. We recently decided to upgrade our system. We wanted to get the more up to date keypads. Devin was my installation tech today, he showed us everything and showed up on time.

We were a previous customer. Decided to upgrade service. Salesperson was very nice and knowledgeable. Understood everything as explained. Installer was prompt, personable, and explained the system. He also explained, installed, and demonstrated the application. Would recommend to a friend.

I had a problem with a smoke detector his past Saturday. The fire department came out and my neighbor. We got the alarm system turned off. I called Vector that Monday set up a service call. The technician that installed my new system came out. He changed my smoke detector. Ran a test on it. And everything tested good. He educated me on usage of my alarm system. Very good technician! I appreciate Vector for providing fast turn around service. And I truly appreciate the. Great technician’s service and professionalism!

Best security company around. Very clear service and fee structure (as opposed to others who charge for service calls and equipment replacement). We started using Vector at our newest shop and decided to replace SDG at our 4 year old shop because of the service from Jim **. The service techs that did the install were top notch as well (Brooks and another guy whose name I forget). They reviewed the order before starting, explained what they were doing, and verified how I would like things to function. They then walked me through the online setup and merging of the two accounts.

The staff member, Brian **, was excellent to work with. He took the time to properly move and reinstall our system, verify that it was working correctly, and provided detailed information above the base knowledge that we knew. He possessed excellent cleanliness and tidiness of his workspace and made us feel more than just a job number. He was willing to go out of his way to make sure I understood what was going on and how it would affect our security.

I called to get an insurance certificate and Laurie could not have been more helpful at Vector. She knew exactly what I needed, and faxed it to me immediately. She was extremely helpful, pleasant and professional. I was assisted in record time. I did not have to hold on the line at all and was assisted immediately.

I chose Vector Security when a guy from Benjamin Company knocked on my door and talk to me about an alarm system. From that point on every interaction I had with Sales, Technicians, monitoring Center has made me feel like I was part of a Large family. I had Vector service for seven years. I decided to upgrade my security system so I contacted Vector Sales Dept. A salesman came by and talked with my wife and I about the new services that are available. We chose to upgrade my alarm system, add a door contact, glass break sensor, and the new Vector application on my phone.

I chose Vector because they were the best ones to suit my needs with me being gone all the time. I've had security systems and I was not satisfied with them. Vector was the best one so far and I'm sticking to that. I would recommend Vector to anyone requiring a security system.

Love their service. Josh was very attentive to our needs and he explained everything about the new upgrade. He was very informative and extremely courteous throughout the entire process. The cameras were place in a spot where the children cannot touch. He showed us that we had an attic and he made sure all of the windows were secure. He is wonderful.

Being new to this facility I was introduced to Bill ** who is the testing technician for vector. The task was 1st quarter electronic testing, I knew nothing about the system and was extremely comfortable following Bill around who understood this system and answered all of my questions professionally. I was so impressed with Bill that I have requested his service for all quarterly tests.

This service call was for the installation of a glass break sensor. There was some confusion making this service call as the technician believed that the existing sensor was not working. When I explained that it was working I suggested to leave it be until I experienced problems. The technician then discussed various additional features to supplement the existing system that I believe we will incorporate in our future plans. The technician, Aaron ** was very knowledgeable and helpful in suggesting updates to our system. I would like to commend him for this and would like him to be our technician on any future calls.

Today the tech really helped me out. I changed my battery in my system as I have done for years. But system did not reset like it should. The tech showed me the simple fix. I had forgotten my code and didn't set the system. We programmed a new code and that fixed it.

My initial experience wasn't so pleasant. However they wasted no time making everything right. The installers or field techs were great, fast and VERY informative. A supervisor from Virginia personally met with us to overcome the initial disappointment. I'm a little concern about a certain matter but other than that all is well so far.

Happy with the service except for when the batteries run low and the system and devices start to beep. Had expressed some time concerns as having to travel a great distance to reach the family home and had specific timeframe that was needed for that day as explained to the person that handled booking the service call. Other than that all is well.

Word of mouth from neighbor. Internet great reviews. Pricing means a lot these days. Techs have great knowledge of the up to date system. The system that I did have was outdated and the owners were difficult to work with.

Had trouble with panic pad. Tech fixed it and checked our batteries in other devices. And then told us about additions that could be added to our system. I was glad to learn about this. We installed other devices and explained them to us.

I had Vector alarm service for some years. The old system I had was a good system and it worked good. Recently, I gotten rid of my landline to my home, which the alarm system was tied too. I wanted an upgrade. I called Vector and a salesman came to my home. We talked over a few packages and decided on an upgrade that includes a new control panel and I can use my existing sensors. The technician came out and upgraded the alarm system. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He also ran a new wire inside the wall for the ac power to the alarm system. Before, the ac wire was exposed and stapled along the wall. Looks very good now. I am well pleased with the overall sales and installation and service of my Vector system. And would recommend anyone I know to you guys.

We were having some false alarm issues with some photo beams in our warehouse. The technician who came out was excellent. He identified the problems, and was able to come up with solutions to alleviate any issues we may have in the future. Very happy with the service provided.

Update: I finally received a call back from a supervisor. She was actually wonderful! She had reviewed my concerns before calling me back, so I didn’t have to explain everything again, and was able to offer me a solution. I’m sorry I did not speak with her sooner. I might even have been convienced to give Vector another try. She would get a 5 star rating!

I was a long time customer of a company that was bought by Vector Security. I never had any issues with my original company, but I have found Vector to be horrible! I have had issues with the central monitoring station not calling to the correct numbers to report an alarm, voicemails not being returned, and an online system that doesn't communicate with the local office. Horrible Customer Service. I finally called to cancel my service, and Vector wants to charge me a ridiculous cancellation fee!

I'm not satisfied at all with the performance of my cameras and doorbell. They never work properly even after I have done everything that I was requested to do. Before getting the equipment I had no problems. Now it's a completely different story. None of the service personnel seem to know how to fix the problem or what is causing it to happen. Sadly the company doesn't want to cancel my contract without me paying them extra money for equipment that doesn't work and they refuse to come and get their equipment.

Your phone system is totally dysfunctional. Good thing it wasn't an emergency. You think that just because you set up a voicemail answering system that you're providing customer service. "Your call is very important to us." Evidently a huge lie. What can I think of a company that repeatedly lies to me? Was on phone 25 minutes before I could get a human. After that I was emailed the certificate within two days.

The alarm company was efficient and fast. All the interactions were professional and pleasant. The new cameras look great. Jerry was absolutely wonderful helping me with my system. However, as opposed to at least three other security providers (one that I canceled to accept Vector), I was truly disappointing that there would be no credit or anything for survivors of Hurricane Michael where our security system was out for 7 days and the backup did not even work. I was told that since the Hurricane was an act of God, there would be no credit. That is NOT what my neighbors, who uses other security companies were told and that information makes me think again about "where is Vector's compassion given the massiveness of the hurricane and the cost that most of us are suffering". I want a company that cares about me and at least ACT like they have compassion, but thanks so much for Jerry.

We had Vector for 8 years when we lived in NC previously. We loved Vector and when given the opportunity to get away from Vivint (who has horrible customer service and equipment) we ran back to Vector. I would suggest Vector to anyone wanted a home security system. I hope that Vector branches out to Colorado, so that when we move in 2 or so years we can continue to have a great security service.

I've had hard time with Vector lately, where once upon a time things were so much better. Not sure the reason, but getting a service tech has become a matter of waiting around 4 hours after I got a 1:30 time quoted to me, and the phone rep simply says "that's not possible because we don't give exact times". Billing can't explain what goes into my quarterly charge, and I get transferred from billing to sales and back to billing in no time flat... like no one wants to answer the question? So frustrating. And it used to be so much better, so responsive.

I had inquired about additional equipment installation and service, and the technician Jeff was very informative and knowledgeable (and without being pushy about getting additional equipment.) Both times, staff arrived on time, and I appreciated the calls from Vector confirming appointment and notifying me that they were on the way. I also appreciated follow up appointment to make sure job done completely (and thoroughness of checking to make sure my system working correctly.)

Ed and Todd worked hard and quickly. Ed worked on adding the camera before Todd got there. They then ran the vga cable to the back office so they could see some of the cameras as well. I always am happy with the quality of work the techs do when they come out.

Had Vector at old house, satisfied with company, wanted to stay with Vector when I moved. Have motion detector, smoke alarm. Really like that I can lock my door from my cell phone. Like the fact that I can do everything from my phone. When the alarm does go off, I like that Vector calls me from and I can speak to them from the panel box without having to use phone, I think it’s a great safety feature.

Jeff did a great job today. I had an old glassbreak that was false alarming and Jeff quickly added a new wireless glassbreak and tested it so my dog would not set it off. He also informed me of new products and I am thinking about upgrading.

We rent our house and a contract with Vector was required in the lease. We're very glad the house came with such a great security system and makes my family feel very safe. We have keypad locks, the garage doors set up and two light appliances available to control with our app, although we've never been able to use the light fixtures. I do not like how when there was an issue where the batteries needed to be replaced, we were going to be charged and we have had repeating issues, but overall, were happy with the service.

We have had the service for years but needed an upgrade and decided to give Vector Security another chance on our security needs. Our security system has changed hands over 3 times since 2008. Hopefully all my information will be located in the Raleigh office now and I will not have to deal with Maryland in the future. Kevin was great and very helpful and professional. I thought HE did a great job. However, we had difficulty with implementing all of the needed updates to my home cameras because your system is overly complex and required way too much time for us both. Needs to be updated to the quality of the rest of your products. Not sure I would suggest these to a friend. The 5 stars rating is for Kevin NOT the product. Sorry.

Vector Security was in the home from the previous owner and the salesperson did a good job at convincing us in the benefits of keeping Vector Security in the home. However, we don't think he did a good job in explaining the 24-hour call in support, so when we ran into problems, we were looking to replace Vector Security with another security company. After getting signed up with another security service, and working with someone from customer loyalty, we were convinced to stay with Vector Security.

The serviceman (Michael) was friendly and courteous. He solved our problem and was encouraging to consider an upgrade. However, we called for service on a Friday morning at 8 without a callback, that was promised. Called again on Saturday morning around 8 am, got a voicemail at 8 pm. Finally Monday morning I talked with Dawn and a service call was scheduled. Unhappy with the service Vector provided, but secure with the system we’ve had around 30 years. Not convinced to upgrade without seeking other providers for better service.

I waited 10 days for a tech person to come and would have called ADT, but person who came was so nice and helpful that I will stay with Vector. My phone calls during the 10 days the alarm was going off were not satisfactory. I was often given misinformation. If this tech had not been so good, I would have left Vector.

We have had Vector security for about 17 years, the service and technicians have been great. We just upgraded our system due to getting new doors and windows. My technicians Devin and Nick installed all new wireless sensors on my doors and a new motion, they also secured my detached garage. They showed us how to use the new system and the app on our phones.

We had a series of intermittent problems that kept triggering alerts. Terry did an excellent job of taking the time to find the problem and then figuring out that the sensor had not been connecting since the beginning of our install. New addition to country club, this was a very challenging installation. The addition consisted of two floors, 3000 square-foot four per floor, open floor plan with timber trusses and structural steel which created an installation nightmare for your installer. We've had Vector Security for three years and had multiple issues with the billing department getting our bill wrong. I couldn't wait to cancel when our 3 years of locked into poor customer service were over but even that has been a nightmare. I've put in four requests to cancel the service now but instead keep getting billing reminders and overdue notices. I can't get anyone to return phone calls or emails. Extremely frustrating!

We had a problem with one of the signals not always working correctly and were contacted by Vector who told us that they would need to come out for a service call. The technician, Jeffrey **, was professional and quickly identified and fixed the problem. So nice to have someone who is polite and wears protective shoe covers. I would change companies if I felt uncomfortable with the technician. But Jeffrey did a great job and I’m very satisfied.

I have been a long time Vector customer for years. I had an old system. Needed to upgrade my alarm system. Called Vector and a sales rep. came out. He went over the different packages and price for each one. I decided to go with the package that best fits my needs, which was the doorbell camera and Vector app package. The technician came out today. He arrived early. He was very polite, professional, knowledgeable, personable, and thorough. He even programmed two motion sensors that were not in my original alarm panel? He stated it wasn’t in programming of the original system.
The technician got everything programmed and working. I really. Like the two way feature. Also, I very much enjoy the doorbell camera. Very good picture and clarity. And I like the microphone feature on the doorbell. The alarm panel is smooth and very user friendly as well. I am very glad I decided to upgrade my alarm system. And would recommend Vector to others as well.

We have had the security system since approximately 1995 and Vector bought out that company. We have had fine service from Vector and it's such a comfort knowing alarms are handled quickly and efficiently. I have used Vector for our beach house for over 6 years now. Vector had a good reputation in our area and since then the service techs have been excellent to deal with. From installation to service techs everyone has been very polite and knowledgeable.

I moved to the house. I got Vector though because I needed alarm system. The area was a new place to live in the daytime, The kids were small and I needed protection for them. I have a Vector Burglar alarm and the fire alarm and also video cameras.

I have been with Vector for quite some time. The previous homeowners had Vector and I just stayed with them and have not been disappointed. Vector has been very responsive to my needs and issues. I recently upgraded my system and Kristofer came out to install it. He was prompt and very courteous. He set everything up to my liking and took his time to explain everything. He was extremely professional and very knowledgeable of everything. I am very pleased with my new system and the services I received.

We originally chose Vector based off of their reputation and the fact that we used them at our home in Pennsylvania. I have always received excellent service anytime I have had anyone out at my house. Anytime the monitoring center calls they have been very helpful.

I’ve had the Vector Security system at my house four to five years. When the alarm goes off the people always call to check on us very quickly. I’m real happy with the system and it helps me feels safe at home. Would be comfortable recommending Vector to anyone needing home security.
