Have been a Vector customer for years and have continually been impressed with the level of service. This time was not disappointed. Would recommend the company if asked. In fact, I did to members of my family recently. Today I have added other names to the technician who, by the way has been very helpful.

Although Dell ** was very professional and knowledgeable as the service technician, my overall experience with my sensor problem was unsatisfactory. It took almost three weeks to get an appt to fix the problem, then nobody showed up on the day scheduled. I had to complain directly to the region manager to get the issue resolved promptly. Vector security is very expensive. I expect superior service when I pay expensive rates.

Great company. Eli is awesome. The best alarm service tech I have ever met in my entire life. I could not be happier with Eli. Thank you for coming today. Wish you could have utilized the smoke alarms installed in 2014 with the new system.

Vector always provides good service whether it's troubleshooting over the phone or a technician in our home. I purchased the extra insurance coverage and today that was a blessing. Our serviceman was extremely thorough today and discovered several small issues as well as some others. He was able to get everything in order. I wish I'd called sooner but that's my fault. We will continue with Vector because they've remained consistently reliable.

The service is great, the tech that did the install was wonderful, very prompt and explained everything thoroughly. I have the service at a few other of my sites and I really enjoy it. I like the convenience factor it helps during my day to day activities.

We had Service done for our carbon monoxide detectors and to replace batteries in our alarm sensors. Tech was very friendly and knowledgeable. We have been very pleased with Vector, aside from the constant replacing of batteries. The company does send out new batteries whenever we call. NO HASSLE.

It took three visits to get all the cameras up and working. The technicians were very professional and kept me up to date to progress and have finally completed work. I would appreciate if you could make time ranges to decrease to two hour windows because staying home for four hours waiting for service is a lot especially for multiple visits.

Great Service, I've been with Vector since '06 and I've never been disappointed with the quality of work they perform. The first thing on my list whenever we relocate is get Vector installed. Vector did all wiring on this house when it was built and the home builder recommended them as a company and I have been satisfied with all the services they have provided me and the customer service is why I continue to use them.

I thank Derek for his very professional manner. This is the 2nd time he has been here and he has been excellent. The first time he came he saw that my system was damaged from a lightning strike. He then suggested that we upgrade which we did. Then today he comes and connects our doorbell camera which couldn't be done during the upgrade. He showed us all how to use it and it's great. Derek is an asset to Vector... Thanks.

My older system was not working properly and Vector could not for the repair. As a result they suggested it for an upgrade with a great great diminish price which made the deal very attractive and so I chose to do the new system. Jason went perfectly and the wall patches that need to be repaired were done expert play by Steve ** who return three times to make sure that the work was done completely and perfectly fine with extremely satisfied flipping tired job from start to finish in the specially the excellent Technicians who did the installation and if you did the repair after completion of installation.

Vector has been our security service provider since there house was built in the early 2000's. The system has given us peace of mind the entire time we have lived here. Have had Vector Security for 25 years. Service has worked very well for me and technicians have repaired effectively. Central office alarm response excellent. Only criticism are long waits to speak to service office. I would recommend Vector to anyone needing a security system.

I called to find out what to do about this and Michelle ** (Project Coordinator in Grapevine, TX) was amazing. She helped me locate which battery needed to be replaced, helped me figure out what to replace with and talked me thru disconnecting and reconnecting the new battery. I so appreciate her help -- she took time she didn't have to and she was such a help!!!

We have had our alarm service with Vector security for years now. One thing we can say for sure is the company has quick response time as far as calling to check on us and sending police when needed. Overall been happy with the company.

New Installation, Everything went great with the installation of my new vector security system. The app is very easier to use. The installer explained everything to me in great detail and gave me all the information I needed, Including tips about avoiding false alarms. Vector also sent my certificate to give to my insurance company.

The technician Ray, came out to fix my shed door today. He did a good job, he took his time explaining to me the issue and what cause the issue to occur, while at the same time was polite and professional. After he fixed the door he had me arm/disarm the system to ensure me that it is working properly.

We have had Vector Security since 2006. We have been very pleased with the service, however, it was time for an upgrade and was interested in adding a medical emergency device. We contacted Vector and a sales man came out. He explained the different packages that were available. So we went with one that included a medical button and other things. The technician was very professional and friendly. I am pleased with the overall experience with the new alarm system upgraded, the technician, and sales person. I would recommend Vector to anyone that I know that is interested in a security system.

The tech named Ray that came out to service my home today did an excellent job at getting my system back working properly. He was a polite and professional guy. He called me ahead of time to make sure I was home. Also he took his time explaining to me how the system works and showed me how I can take troubleshooting steps for future reference just in case if I have any other issues.

I'm requesting you guys to cancel your service because when my windows and door were replaced. You didn't do anything to fix or replace my current system. One of your technician was in my house yesterday and he said he cannot do anything to replace the contacts and box.

Service issue with sensor. Technician was very thorough, knowledgeable and personable. Problem was resolved. Very pleased with his service & the company team. I've been a customer for many years and cannot recall any dissatisfaction or disappointment with the staff, service or efficiency of the central monitoring center.

Couldn't go without my Vector alarm system. We had an issue in our neighborhood of a robbery at a store near our home and the police knew the suspect came our direction. And I couldn't have felt safer knowing my Vector alarm was there to keep us safe and intruders out.

Checking alarm to make sure the signal is going to the station. APRIL is a Super Star. She needs to give lessons. Her knowledge-professionalism and customer service skills are outstanding. She needs to teach and coach the other members. When you speak to someone other than April you feel lost - you feel like this is like a grocery store, the other folks are clueless.

Update on 01/25/2020: My previous experience From 2011 to 2018 had been ok with this system. My system was updated in 2018 and since then, I have been having numerous issues since. When I’m contacted by Vector, it’s never the alarm that’s showing up on my panel nor what I receive on my text alert. I’ve been told by the monitoring service that they would contact the service department. I told them that I have on numerous occasions but when they come out, they find no issues. I was then told my issues would be escalated up. Haven’t heard from them yet.
Original Review: In 2011; I shopped around for a different security system than what I had because of poor customer service and bad interactive practice. I chose Vector Security shortly afterwards and have been pleased with the service as well as customer service. It wasn't until recently when I inquired about upgrading my system that I ran into some issues. I was put in contact with Ellen ** at Vector. The interactions with her were quick, direct and very responsive. She actually brought my feelings of customer service back to life. Thank You Ellen!! Ellen emailed me all the information I needed to make a sound decision on what system to upgrade to.
I'm not a big on long purchaser, but all the information she shared with me and she did answer all my questions. So I decided to upgrade with Vector. On the day of installation, the Technician called early to see if they could move up my installation time. Of course! The Technician was very polite and friendly along with knowledgeable of his work. The first door bell did not work properly and after some troubleshooting, he replaced it; and yes he did have a back up. He explained the system very thoroughly as well as the cell phone and online operations. I've had a few questions after the installation and again, Ellen responded within hours. Thank you Ellen and thank you Vector for keeping me and my home safe.

We had issues after the recent hurricane and since then the battery went dead and so did our panel. We had Josh our Technician to come out and he did a VERY thorough inspection in which no other technician has done so and also added another smoke detector in our laundry room and now we are cover at both ends of the houses. We've been with Vector for many years, we trust that they will do a good job securing our house. Our interactions with the maintenance staff over the years have been pleasant. They are knowledgeable and helpful. They don't always have the parts necessary to do the repair but they get the items in timely manner and arrive on time for repairs. Mr. Abayomi ** is the last technician we had over to repair our sensors. He was very understanding and knowledgeable. He was very sympathetic to our frustration caused by the broken sensors. He identified the issues accurately the first time around and repaired when he said he would. We thank him for that.

Had issues with sensor batteries and was later found that a sensor was not working properly. The tech could have just replaced the battery and left but took extra time to really test the sensor to ensure that it was the proper fix.

We had a horrific experience with Vector Security. We wanted to cancel 4 months ago, but were told we could transfer the service to our new house. We had to pay a new $400 installation fee, which we paid right away back on October 3rd. It is now November 27th and we STILL have not gotten our new system installed AND we are still being charged for the old system! They have basically stolen $600 from us and we have absolutely nothing to show for it. It is nonsense that we have had to wait as long as we have to get a system installed, especially since we've already paid and they continue to charge us a monthly charge for service we don't even have. I will never deal with this company again, and I would advise anyone else to not deal with them either. I would give negative stars for installation if I could! And Customer Service, especially the "retention specialist" is a joke.

I installed a security system at home almost two months ago. Over the last two months, multiple visits to my home over several weeks have been required as they forget equipment, don’t install correctly, etc. Now I can pretty much open all my doors and windows while the security system is on away or stay, and absolutely nothing rings. I called for a repair, and they don’t have time to fix it even though there have been so many visits. I asked if they can cut down my bill, and they say I will have to speak with their manager. And when I asked to speak to a manager their response is, “there is no manager, we have a few but they aren’t permanent positions.” Why advertise a service that you cannot provide. I am not asking for anything for free, just what I am paying for. Please Be honest so you don’t waste people’s time. That is all we ask.

I have been a customer by default when Vector took over another company. We have paid for monitoring in advance and it turned out that we were not monitored. Our home insurance asked for a letter for the discount from the monitoring company, that's when we called to get the letter. They told us there is a problem and a technician will come and check. The technician arrived and was not able to fix or resume service. Gave us a quote for new install which I have not ordered from them. I have looked into other companies and finally after several months have a new company providing us with services.
Ironic part is several months ago when we continued to receive the invoice for monthly monitoring charges, we called and tried to cancel our service. This is when we encountered an extremely rude person, after spending time on hold and unnecessary arguments we still were not able to cancel the service. Instead we were given a run around to go online and request a discontinue of service. Worse is the part while they didn't monitor our home and got paid for months. Now even when they are not monitoring us they continue to send us monthly invoices. They should be reimbursing us the money that we paid upfront for monitoring while the equipment was not working and there was no monitoring!

This was a really great and painless installation. Peter showed up when we expected him to be here. Gave me a short breakdown of what was going to happen - and it was done really quickly - faster than expected. I should have not got the alarm system because I had issues from day one. I never really worried about them until almost 6 months later when I realized my system was not functioning properly. Only my front door and smoke detector worked. Everything else did not work. My camera been offline for months still. Now they are threatening me and constantly calling. Please don’t do it.

We've had Vector Security for the last 6 1/2 years and recently decided to add a doorbell camera. Steven ** was our installation guy and he did a great job. He was courteous and professional. Our existing doorbell chime was not compatible so he took the extra step and ran to the hardware store to purchase one that was compatible for us. He took the extra time to show me how to work everything from my alarm app and made sure we were up and running smoothly. Thank you for delivering excellent customer service!!

I moved into my new home a few days ago. I acquired my home through the Habitat for Humanity program. I was not aware that Vector has a program with Habitat for Humanity new homeowners. When I moved in, a working alarm system was already in place. I contacted Vector security and spoke to a sales lady. She was friendly and set me up for an install appointment. The technician arrived on time. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the alarm system and different products and services Vector offers. I chose Vector Security because of their reputation in the security industry. We had Dave ** as our salesperson. He was extremely knowledgeable and very efficient in his presentation. Kevin ** did our install. He was great to deal with and was very professional as well. Today we had both men come to teach us about the system. It’s user friendly and we appreciated the time they spent with us. Jon and Steve, the installers came out, arriving on time! The installation went very smoothly and Jon’s explanation of how the system works was excellent. Called to replace batteries. System is less than 2 years old and the batteries keep needing to be replaced. 3 batteries went bad one right after the other. That seems weird that they would die so quickly. We didn’t have this problem at my old house and had Vector alarm system.

The previous owner had the Vector service and we just continued the service with them. The interactions have been good and well pleased with the service. The only issue there has been was just when the panel battery goes out or low.

I'm a facility manager, and Vector was already installed at my building when I was hired. Service has always been very good. Only complaints would be that scheduling service can sometimes take a week or two, while the system still gives daily trouble alerts.

When we moved into our home 10 years ago, we inherited this security system. We weren't even sure if we wanted or would need it, but right now we are thrilled that we have it. I had Vector security for a few years. I decided to upgrade my current alarm system. Contacted Vector customer sales dept and decided to set up appointment for salesman to come out and set up an order. I qualified for a free upgrade. Set day and time up. Technician arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He replaced the bad shed door sensor and mounted devices the correct way. The technician was very polite and displayed great customer and people skills! I would recommend Vector to anyone I know that is interested in a security system.

I was recommended by a friend, had a consult with another big name security system. Rick salesman more knowledgeable, no pressure. Technicians who first came out professional, did a good job installing sensors. Unable to install cameras that day due to some internet problems with connection. Derrick did a great job! He was very professional and knowledgeable and timely. He kept us up to date on notifications and trained us on system functionality. He also made recommendations for site process improvements. He left his work areas neat after the work was completed. We look forward to working with Vector in the future.

I chose Vector Security because my niece recommended them to me. They are very happy customers and thought that this would help me especially with my current health issues. My technician was Devin today. He showed up on time, he was professional, answered all my question. He called me by name, and was very considerate of my husband. Highly recommend Devin and Vector Security.

Matt is excellent at what he does!! Matt is able to explain the use of the system with patience and understanding making sure we are comfortable operating the way the system works. Vector is lucky to have such a nice and competent person representing the company. Bravo Matt! Thank you Vector!

Vector was already installed when we purchased this home and we stayed b/c of good reviews. We've been w/ Vector now for 7 years and had nothing but good interaction from the call center and the onsite techs. I would highly recommend Vector.

My interactions with technical support was amazing. Although, I spent 3 hours on the phone, he made sure all of my equipment was up and running. He walked me through each and every step getting the cameras connected to my network.

I been a customer with Vector for over ten years. I enjoy vector’s service. They are: prompt, efficient, easy to deal with if I have customer service questions, dependable, and very economical. The technician was wonderful. He went beyond the call of duty to help educate how to use the doorbell. I would prefer for the same technician to come back if I have any issues. He deserves a pay raise! Overall, I am very satisfied with Vector services. Just a suggestion: You all need special rates for Senior citizens!

I chose Vector because an awesome representative Matt ** came to my door 2 years ago and was awesome at explaining everything, but the service department reps over the phone and email are not as supportive and awesome at customer support. Vector is a great company but some of its employees don't care about customer satisfaction.

We had a Vector Security alarm already installed when we moved in and it looked like a nice system. When I called to ask about the system, Leslie was very friendly and had all useful information for me. Nick came within a few days to set up the alarm and explained everything step by step.
