Torrence was great! He was prompt, called prior to arriving and resolved the problems I had been experiencing. I would request Torrence again should I need service... I chose Vector because my builder recommended it. I am very pleased with the system. The reason I went with Vector is because we had a possible break in. There were people scoping out my house while we had the snow storm. There’s were in known footprints around my daughter's bedroom windows. Was a very scary time for me and my family. I feel so much better now that I have the system installed. Thank You!!

They purchased the company we were dealing with. Have been easy to deal with. Bill was concerned with providing the best service possible. Service/installation was always on time. That's all I have to say. Provided updates when needed for better service.

I was having issues with my door sensors. When the alarm was set it would go off for no reason. Josh the technician came out and called while he was on the way and came at the time he said he would. He replaced to door sensors and testing my alarm and made me feel safe now that my alarm was serviced!

Had a fabulous tech, Rich **. He was very knowledgeable! Great install of doorbell. I was not happy though with my sales rep, John **. He was very hard to get along with, very “old school”, didn’t explain anything really at all. It was his lack of knowledge that truly held up our buying process! We’re lifelong Vector clients & were going with Vector regardless but he certainly didn’t make it a pleasant experience. Both techs that we’ve had, Frank & Rich have been excellent. Thank you.

We were originally with certified security; we chose to continue with the same agency when the company changed. We have been pleased with the services and the repairmen. I like the new features that they now offer. I am particularly impressed with the security cameras. Also, I definitely appreciate the assistance they provide me in setting my phone & computer up to see my cameras. Overall, I am pleased with Vector.

Very professional team, from Jeff in Sales to John and his team doing the installation. We are extremely satisfied with the experience with this company. Spent time going over operation and placement so we understood the entire system and by the time they left it felt like we'd had the system forever!

Existing customer, wanted to discontinue the landline phone. Contacted Scott **, who recommended the GSM cellular system with the app. Installation was excellent, tech explained everything and helped with downloading the app and showed us what it will do. Great job.

Had alarm in house and wanted to get it activated. We have 2 keypads but will be also using the app to arm the alarm. Josh came out to hook up system and change some batteries so the system won't be beeping anymore. After Josh was done he showed me how to arm the alarm and use the app.

Former owner had original system which was updated by technician Peter today. Peter was professional, friendly and knowledgeable and did a first class job. Doug ** was equally professional, courteous and experienced. For me it was a privilege to work with such fine gentlemen. I can recommend Vector to my friends and neighbors.

We had the old touchscreen alarm and it was hooked up to the phone lines. We wanted to get the upgrade because sometimes we weren't sure if the alarm was being set. Upgrading will allow us to arm and disarm from the phone and get notified if the alarm is set or if the alarm goes off.

We’ve had several techs out to install the system but Rich and Asafo were able to get the job done. Although they ran into some issues they were able to figure it, get the correct equipment and install the new system. I truly appreciate both of them working on the system in spite of the challenges.

I choose Vector over my present ADT system as an upgrade and to modernize that system. Our installer was professional right from the start with presenting his I.D. as soon as I answered the door. Did an excellent install and then the instruction/walk-through at the end of the job. From front panel to my phone to my home computer. Signed, a very happy customer.

The Vector repair guys were very helpful. They were very careful to put their booties on so as not to track in snow. They came at the time they said they would. They worked quietly, I was able to get lots of work done. Explained everything. Great experience! Thanks!

Torrence the Vector tech called before he came to my house. When there showed me his ID and said who he was. Came in. Talked about what was going on. He was also on time. That was very good. Did the job very well. Cleaned up all trash. I would ask for him again when I need a tech.

Ray called me exactly at 11 AM and was at my house 5 minutes later. He finished his job quickly and effectively. The weather was subzero yet he was on time. I have had Vector for under a year and they have come out to my house 2 additional times and have resolved the issues quickly.

We have had Vector for over 7 years and we recently moved to a new home and wanted to get a new system. We decided to add a couple garage overhead sensors. Devin and Matt were my technicians today, they were on time, courteous and very professional. I am very satisfied with my service.

We currently use them for our monitoring service, logical choice. They performed an upgrade on one of our buildings in 2016 and did a fantastic job. The current installer is very knowledgeable, courteous, and takes great pride in his work. All boxes are easily accessible and level. Each building as tested gives me proper alerts as expected.

My front door sensor stopped working and the technician came out on time and quickly fixed the chime and the sensor. The technician went over the keypad and the settings on website. I have the service pack so the service was prepaid and that was excellent. Thanks!

I have had Vector Security for over 10 years. Anytime I have had an issue with the alarm or a component of the alarm system, Vector is always helpful and quick to respond. Tonight, Steve (my Technician) was right on time and quick to resolve my problem. He also checked around the house and gave me some advice where I may have some "vulnerabilities" in my current alarm set up. I agreed and added two more sensors and another smoke detector. Nice guy, very knowledgeable, and very helpful!

Weak battery alarm sensor was activated last week, called for help to shut down chirp, was talked thru shut-down over phone and scheduled appointment for maintenance. Chris ** was repairman assigned a 12:00 to 4:00 window, he was able to arrive early, changed new battery, checked system and had everything 100% in short period of time. Very pleased with his work today!

Everything went well with installation. All of our questions were answered and technicians completed the upgrade with no issues. I had been considering a system, and after hearing Jeff describing the benefits decided to check it out and have him show me a system. I really loved the automatic deadbolt and the simplicity of our system and online app. Jeff did a great job in explaining the options and finding the setup that was perfect for me. We upgraded our system. I had a little misunderstanding on cameras. I thought it was for two, but only installed one. Company is supposed to be getting back with me to install back foot camera. Other than that the installer was very helpful.

Insurance agent I have my homeowners insurance with recommended Vector to us. I was pleased with the price of the original package. I was very pleased with the install technician. He was very professional, knowledgeable of the Vector products, and courteous. He vented my bedroom windows so we could keep the windows up and have the security system on as well. It was a pleasure receiving Mr. ** today. Not only was he pleasant, but he was able to advise me of the real issue going on with my panel. He noticed that I have an electrical issue along the plug that is associated with my panel. This also confirmed that there was not an issue with the senior technician that initially came out. Mr. **, also took the opportunity to explain to me how he powered down the system to ensure the system alerts do not disturb my time in my home. This is greatly appreciated as it allows me rectify the real issue and avoids further damage to one of my most important assets, my home. Thanks a ton Mr. **!

The effort that performed was exception for the install. We are very pleased with the work and the considerations that were made. This was not an easy install. There were old wire to contend with and the installer was able to figure out out needed to be done to make the system work. Very Happy.

I was broken into and wanted a security system. At the time it was a good system but very pricey. After 5 or so years go to cancel and find they auto new without ever a word. Customer service is horrible. I have 5 other households that bought Vector systems because of me but you can believe I will do everything to ensure they cancel ASAP.

Thank you for your feedback. Our contracts contain an automatic renewal clause to give you peace of mind that there will never be a lapse in your security monitoring. You may cancel renewal of your contract by providing written notice to us at least 30 days before the end of the contract period. Written notices of cancellation should be sent to your local branch. If we do not hear from you, we will automatically renew your contract for one year, after the initial contract term, to ensure continuous monitoring of your security system.

Our family referred us to Vector due to their excellent reputation and great customer service. We have been very happy with our security system so far. The alarm panel touch screen is user friendly. The Alarm.com app has been super handy, especially for locking up the house remotely or checking on things when out and about. Del came to our house to help resolve 1 issue, but ended up helping with an additional issue. He went above and beyond and called Alarm.com for us to get the help we needed. THANKS so much!

My experience with my tech Torrence this morning was very great. The tech called when en route to my home and also was 1Vhour early for my appointment. He took his time to explain what the problem was that was going on with my system. He also explained step by step what he was doing. I would recommend this tech in any of our Vector Security family homes.

Because Vector Security was highly recommended our insurance company. They talked with CPI, ADT, Vivint, Johnson Control. Vector stood out. I like Vector. The sales pricing was great. The Vector app works great as well because we travel. The technician was great. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable of the alarm products and services. He recommended a few items, doorbell camera and smoke det, however, we chose to wait till later to possibly add them. I would recommend Vector to others that needs an alarm system.

My system had a low battery in one of the door sensors. A Technician came out during my business hours and replaced the battery. Tim arrived right on time. He determined that most of the batteries were reaching end-of-life and needed replacing. He went through the entire property, replaced the batteries and a couple sensors that were not working correctly. He did a great job and cleaned up everything.

Technician Trey arrived promptly at the appointment time. He was extremely courteous and professional. He took time to explain the installation and answered all my questions. We chose Vector Security because of the different services they provide for us. Vector services the security alarm, fire alarm, and now our camera system for our building. Our cameras were installed November 2018, it took the technician about a week to install 27 cameras. After the installation was completed, I noticed that the technician made it easy for me to be able to troubleshoot if needed by labeling all of the camera wires and boxes. Technician walked me through the set up of downloading the app on my phone, logging in, and viewing the cameras live. I also liked the fact that I can share a video recording from my phone and email it to whoever I need to.
I recently had an issue with viewing the cameras on my phone. I had to contact Vector to get them out to trouble shoot the problem. Vector was very prompt and came out as soon as they could. The issue was not caused by them it was an IP conflict on our end. The tech contacted tech support and gave us a solution to resolve the issue I was having. My overall experience with Vector has been great. Thanks for the great work!

A salesman came over out of the blue and the old alarm was already out of contract so it was a no brainer to get it put in. They offered the window contacts as a part of the system as well. Happy with the alarm just not liking the part about when the front door does a tamper.

When I contacted Vector Security, the lady who responded scheduled me as quickly as possible. The gentleman phone me within the designated arrival window, and arrived about 20 minutes later. He identified himself, showed his badge, and got to work immediately. AIthough he had to go back to his truck to retrieve another piece of equipment, he solved the problem in less than five minutes. Everything went well, the agent was courteous, and the visit was handled satisfactorily.

The service was prompt and efficient. The technician was very helpful and professional. He performed all several test and went through the app functions. He was patient and through. Very courteous. He ensured that the app worked with the panel and tested each sensor to ensure they were all working correctly.

I am a new Vector customer and today is my first day. I must say the service team was amazing! They were on time and completed the installation with a great attitude while simultaneously engaging with my family and kids. The system is second to none, incredible! We've used Vector Security for our Grenadier Clubs security for several years. The service and support is awesome. The staff and technicians are knowledgeable in their equipment and its functionality. The online support allows management the opportunity to see which user enters the building and how long they are onsite. 24 hr coverage aids when everyone is away from the site as well. This was repair for existing service. Shanon, Trey and Orsino do a very good job for Stone's. The only 1 complaint I have is that service scheduling can be days or even a week plus out which causes some issues.

Vector did a great job communicating with us on the fees as well as setting up an appointment! There were some delays in the install appointment due to weather and our schedules but they handled everything professionally, and most importantly were super communicative with us. The installation guy was fantastic and really friendly as well as fast. He explained everything very well and made sure I understood all the features to the system!

It went very well. Steve was very good at it as job and I really appreciate the work that he did. I have lived in my house for about 20 years and have Vector Security for 15 of those years. I have the burglar alarm, fire alarm and now getting cameras from Vector Security. My rate went up slightly but I'm getting more equipment I am satisfied.

Vector has been a great to me and my family. We feel safe and secure knowing we have their system in our home. We rarely have issues with our system but when we do they’re always quick to come fix the problem. Devin was my service tech today and he came and fixed my z wave lights that had stopped working due to a power outage. He was fast and courteous. Everything is working properly now. I have been a VECTOR customer for 6 years & have always been very pleased with the alarm service. This review is for customer service after other equipment was to be installed. It turned into an ongoing problem with the service & billing that was now into 4 months unresolved. Due to several phone calls, long phone wait times, leaving messages as the recording prompted, messages not answered in the 24 hour window that it was stated they would be & being transferred all over the place (including Pennsylvania) I was about to cancel the service.
I decided to try one more time before cancelling & was connected to Sally. Thanks to Sally this issue that was allowed to continue for 4 months was resolved in a matter of days. Her follow up is amazing! What she said she would do she did. Sally is an MVP (Most Valuable Personnel)!!! If not for her I would have pulled both accounts. With the resolution of the problem I decided to stay with VECTOR & Sally's professionalism is the reason why. I see her as a strong asset to customer retention for VECTOR. It should not have taken all this time. It is now resolved thanks to Sally. I would score the 4 months of customer service BEFORE Sally with 1/2 Star. I give Sally 5 Stars! Under "Tell Us More" my stars are based on the total experience that spanned 4 months.

The Service Tech (Torrence) identified himself as a Vector employee and showed me his identification. He then came in and described in detail what he was here to do and went into detail as to all the aspects of the inspection. Once he started the testing, he went about going to each site in the house to ensure all the points of entry were secure. He also tested the smoke alarms. Torrence was very efficient and curious during the entire inspection.

I had Vector for some years now. My old system worked fine but it was time for an upgrade. I called Vector and a salesman came out to our home. Gerald spoke to us about upgrading the old alarm system at no cost. We signed up. Nick came at to the upgrade work. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and polite. He was patient and even got our App working and fixed couple things on our US Cellular phones. Lol. I would highly recommend Vector to anyone that's interested in a security system.

We were with ADT. We did not like the service. So we went with Vector. We have been ok with your service. We have had good service. Mr. Delesky ** has been very kind and nice to me. My window was 8-12am. He came after 01:00, but he did call me to tell me he was on his way. He worked very quickly to fix the problem.

I had an event. It would not clear on my panel due to the association changing cable service and then my changing phone service. This problem occurred in early November and a technician came out and said That he was unable to clear the event - loss of phone transmission. I was then referred to a salesman named Greg. Said he was going to call me and never did after my repeated attempts to call him. I was becoming very upset as a long term customer (10 years). I was referred to April who was very helpful and explained my options. April set up a service call in San Rod was an excellent technician and restored my confidence in your company. I was at a near breaking point since this had been going on since November to the point where I canceled my auto payment credit card info until this was resolved.

Vector does a good job. Del came to check a beeping CO detector and patiently helped me with a total maintenance agreement. Del got to the root of our problem and has scheduled a CO replacement for one of ours that is defective. Del also explained the maintenance agreement very well. You have a great employee in Del.

We are very happy with our Vector alarm system. I like the feature that the smoke detectors are on 24/7. I might upgrade to Interactive service. Tim installed our system a few years ago and he just finished replacing batteries and testing. Great job.

Love my Vector System. Not only does it keep my family safe and secure it helps me to keep track of when people are going in and out and with younger children on the move that is great. Extremely happy with Vector Security. Their professionalism is second to none. Dealt with Dave ** when discussing what system to install and he was extremely knowledgeable and professional when discussing our security needs. Abu (Technican who installed service) was thorough in his installation and making sure all entry ways were secure and working as designed. Very happy with their service.
