Longtime Vector customer. Very happy with the service Rick ** has provided over the years, and specifically helping us with our new system after we moved from our old house to a new one. Rick is always quick to respond when I have questions and goes above and beyond to help.

I choose Vector Security because it was the best in up to date material. I want a device where I can see who is coming to my house while I am not there. I also got an alarm system when I moved up to the city. Shortly after I moved to the city my door got kicked in. An alarm system gives me comfort and ease when I am not at my house.

I have been with Vector for 15 years or more! And during that time I have been completely satisfied with the service and also service with the technician and service of the security system. I am very grateful for being a part of Vector and will recommend future customers!

We could not go without our system from Vector. It helps us feel secure and safe in our home. Also the people that come out are just wonderful and always so nice and help in any way they can to check everything so the system is always working at its best.

We had ADT security and some young people were coming through the neighborhood going door to door swapping out alarm other alarm company equipment and saying it was an upgrade and in all actuality it was another company altogether. Although the new Vector alarm has been working okay no major issues just the practices of how it came to be installed with a little underhanded.

Have been a client for several years, we had Vector take over our former service provider when we updated our equipment and were referred to vector by Don ** of Alarm.com, Ben ** is our regional manager and had been great. Jeffrey ** was the tech for this service call and was extremely professional.

Vector Security is my alarm provider. I always use a reliable company so I decided to install cameras and home automation with Vector Security. I know neighbors try to do the installation by themselves but I think you need a company to back up your cameras and home automation.

Provided excellent professional service! My family and I can count on Vector Security to protect us in any situation with our house. We feel that the technology is up to date and reliable, for example the App is very easy to use and understand.

My service tech explained what he was going to do and how this was going to expand my security capabilities. He showed me how to operate everything and how I could use my phone on using my system. Then he explained how I could add systems to my current use.

The security system was in the home when I bought it. Tech called ahead of time so I could leave work and get home for the appointment (system check, battery replacement). Good service from the technician.

Michael was amazing! Had the problem fixed in less than one minute! Very nice and personable. Knows the business and technology. Sold us some smoke detectors for monitoring and a Carbon Monoxide monitor also. And he is coming back to install it all tomorrow. Great customer service!

My smoke alarm was tripping continual errors. Eli was the service rep who came to fix the issue. Not only did he fix the issue but was good enough to review the application setup on my phone... ensuring maximum use for my alarm! Couldn’t be happier!

I am very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of your installers Matt, Jim and Eric. They were able to answer all of questions that I had concerning the operation and use of my new system. These gentlemen were like family and I no problem in recommending them and Vector Security to anyone seeking to have a security system installed in their home or business. Eli and Darren were the most professional and knowledgeable technicians I’ve ever met. They were swift, reliable and made it easy on an early snowy morning. Respectful, nice and funny! Send them to me again! They answered all of my questions and showed me every step of the process. Would recommend them to anyone.

Vector Security arrived right on time. I did not have to wait the entire two hour time span. He came in, explained what he was doing and got right to work. Made the repairs that were needed and did not do any unnecessary work. A job very well done.

Very competent service, knowledgeable, polite, courteous, cleaned up all trash. Main reason to get rid of landline phone expecting better safer because not being able to cut phone line service. Installer knew what he was doing. Salesman suppose to get trip fee back. Haven't heard anything. Also when service went out took thirteen days to get repaired without service being active.

We have been very happy with Vector Security services. We have been with them since 2002. The only reason I am canceling my service is that my husband passed and I am moving in with my daughter. So sorry I am leaving such a great company.

We decided to get this system because a friend went with Vector and liked the service. There have been some problems in the area and needed protection. We have been very happy with everything. Our sales guy Dennis and installer Gary have been very helpful and professional.

Technician was very knowledgeable, courteous, polite, and organized. He came in and explained the install before he began and kept us informed of all progress and possible issues during the process. Vector was very attentive to our needs and wants.

I have been with the company for almost sixteen or more years and feel safe with them. They respond to calls quickly and are available for assistance when needed. I would highly recommend them to my family, neighbors, and friends.

I have been a customer for over 20 years. I have been very please with the monitoring system and customer service. I am very pleased with the technician Steve for today. He came in and did a complete assessment of my security system. Replaced my old battery which give me a level of comfort knowing that I trust my system to protect my home. He made sure that my major problems were corrected and he has scheduled a visit to upgrade my system. It is wonderful when a company really is concern about the safety of their customers. I am very pleased with my service plan and the technical staff.

I chose Vector Security because I already have had it from my personal home. And I’m very happy with the experience I’ve had with them for 9 years. Nick, Davin, Ethan and Matt showed up to the job on time. They all were very professional.

Installation - OVERALL. I am very dissatisfied, no one ever answer the phone. I am always leaving messages and playing phone tag with the only number to call. I always have issues with the installation from scheduling to setting up all the equipment. My latest experience: the person went to install my system back on the house that the system was taken down from, is that is how the house is monitor, I can only imagine!!! Now that I got re-scheduled the person did not know he had to install the whole system, he came for just the panel, which by the way was broken when it was taken down from the old house and now you want me to pay for a new one. The system is still not up, and no one in the office answered the technician's call!!! I AM PAYING FOR A SECURITY SYSTEM THAT LOOKS LIKE I WILL NEVER GET BACK ON. I want out of this contract that obviously will not help me in case of an emergency.

Referral from family member and satisfied with product thus far. Good technicians at house. Needed front doorbell camera and better alarm disabling options. Needed upgrade and more cameras, keypads, among other services that Vector provides.

We’ve had Vector Security in other homes that we own, and the quality of equipment and the employees are far above! Curtis is no exception, he is very professional and knowledgeable. He took time to explain everything and set up our cell phones.

I switched to Vector Security from another alarm company. They gave me a better price and service. I keep Vector Security for the price, response times, pleasant customer service, and quality technicians. Vector Security has been there for me for many years and I am Satisfied to maintain their services.

I am filling this out in connection with a service call to address a faulty fire sensor. This is the second time in 6 months that this sensor has gone bad. In fact, this is the only complaint I have about the service from Vector — the two equipment malfunctions. Otherwise, we have been very satisfied with the service. Everyone is polite and timely. When I called in, they took care of putting the alarm on standby and immediately put me through to schedule a technician for repair. The technician is very diligent and checking it the whole system to make sure that none of the other sensors has an issue. Good job!

There a great company. Does great service and monitoring on my homes which it was two homes at two different addresses. Nice technicians that drove great cars that needed tinted windows. Technician needs a raise for all the hard work he has put in.

We decided to use Vector at our home because we use them at our business and have been very pleased with the service and the technicians. If we have a question or if the has been an issue with the alarm they are extremely quick to respond. We have told many people about the quality and service that Vector gives. Thanks Vector.

I was extremely satisfied with the technician who performed the service inspection. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful with providing me with information on the system. He was also helpful with providing recommendations on newer available devices that would improve our system. I was very appreciative of his advice and service.

Years back I purchased a package from Vector Security and never used it. Dave ** called and we met and installed the system. I appreciated his call, as I forgot about it completely. We put in a system that covers the whole house. Everyone was top notch, from sales to installer.

I chose Vector Security simply because there was a Vector sticker on my keypad. I have stayed with Vector because I have found it to be reliable. I feel safe with them. I moved to another house in Raeford and upgraded my system. I love all of the new features.

We have a total of 7 buildings on our property. We have been a customer for more than 20 years. Art ** and Patrick ** has done a good job of taking care of our needs and have provided us with the latest technology, making life much easier to ensure our properties are secure.

Terry did a great job of helping us. We had an issue with our alarm not responding. He was able to identify the problem, resolve it and in the process discovered another issue on our back door. After fixing that issue, he then took the time to make sure we were using Alarm.com properly.

Matt the technician was awesome, did a great job, excellent personality, would recommend him to anybody for an alarm system. He does great work and has a great personality. I would highly recommend Vector Security to friends, family members or neighbors in the future.

Once under contract, always under contract. It is really tough getting them to not renew. You must jump through hoops and spend a crazy amount of effort to be sure your contract does not renew. They also have a collection department sort of attitude when dealing with them. It was awful.

Recommended by architect. Staff is great to work with. Very communicative. Answers all my questions. Would recommend to anyone looking for a security system. System works well. Prevented a break in last year. No additional problems other than maintenance. Excellent service.

Matt and Dave were very friendly and professional. Their knowledge and technical competence was incredible. I would highly recommend this company for security. Installation was quick and easy and the system is very easy to use. These guys were totally awesome.

Jerry and Kraig were very helpful with my inspection here at Ritter Lumber. They explained the details of the work performed to me so I knew step by step what was going on and what issues I still have to fix. I really appreciate that they took the time to go over every work order for all of my buildings with me about everything they did today. I have been a customer for many years, been very happy with the service provided by Vector Security. Just had an addition put on my house and wanted more devises installed. George ** Was a very knowledgeable technician! After he told us what he was going to be doing, he offered his opinion on adding a sensors on windows that were vulnerable to someone being able to break into. So we agreed to doing the extra sensors. Great technician and a pleasure to have work at our house! Thanks Again Vector!

Really impress with the system, but the issue is low battery on the sensor, but Vector always come around to replace them. The tech been here twice now and always professional and call us before getting here.

The Vector service man fixed our cameras very quickly and added our phones and iPad to our system just like we asked and everything is working great. He also fixed our power supply that wasn't on his ticket and replaced our battery for us very fast.

I have been with Vector for over 10 years. Anytime I have an issue I call and someone is out here to address any issues I may have. For today's service call I needed a replacement battery for my panel and everything was completed in a timely manner.

Called about a battery problem in garage. Service person gave a heads up call then came when said he would. Decided to replace all batteries in garage. Pleased with replacement of all batteries since if another one went next week, the service person would have to come back.

I've had service with Vector since 2008 and have had no issues with service, staff or pricing. Would certainly highly recommend their services. Ken in Sales was very informative and professional. Josh arrived on time to install the addition to my system, and was very professional, patient and courteous.

Tech was very professional and knowledgeable when coming in to repair the alarm. We talked about adding cameras and some upgrades to be completed over the next few months. I will decide what I want based on the information provided.

I’ve always had great response time with the authorities have been dispatched and any time we’ve needed a service call. Jerry came earlier than I expected and knew right where the problem was and got to work and finished much faster than I expected.

The tech Oral was fantastic loved him. Knows exactly what he is doing. Only prefer him. Very nice and makes everything easy to understand. On the other hand your billing dept sucks. Have had ongoing issues since July when I updated my system. Very poor. Sometimes takes too long to get service for troubleshooting.

This is a review for Wayne with Vector. I arrive this morning for a properly as he indicated he would be with the car ahead of time call. Been very professional. Show me some pictures that I didn't realize that I had. Got my camera set up a recording and everything that I could not do before. He was able to address it. I am very satisfied with Jerry, the technician. However, I was very dissatisfied with Customer Service on 2/12/19 when I had a problem and they did not return my call. Luckily, the system reset itself and I felt safe to go to bed.

Vector was brought to us by a door to door salesman. I called today to have someone help us better understand our security system. Unfortunately what I needed could not be resolved over the phone, although the staff on the phone was very courteous and understanding.

My interaction with Steve from Vector Security services department came out to talk about service plan pricing. Real nice and friendly, he explained that current system was great and I did not have a need to be upgraded. With price for the plan was good as it covered part and labor.

I have been working with Vector Security for several years. All of the representatives are very knowledgeable, patient, and understanding. They are easy to talk to and give good recommendations to ensure that your home is well protected. This service gives you the ability to know what is going on at all times of the day and night and the ability to control your doors, see who is at your house, as well as the ability to tell them to go away if they don’t belong there. This peace of mind is priceless.

Mr. ** was very professional, He called to inform me of his ETA and was here upon my arrival. He displayed his Vector badge and explained the process of testing the alarm system. He went through a process of checking Windows, doors, smoke and carbon dioxide detectors. When completed he provided a written report and explained his findings. Everything checked out ok. Vectors customer service is responsive and reasonable when there are false alarms. They have been my alarm company for over a decade and I have never been more pleased.

The house came with an older security system now serviced by Vector. We’ve always had reliable responses from Vector to any alarms and were happy to stay with Vector when our system was in need of replacement. The installation went very smooth. And the technician was efficient and thorough, explaining the new system and also the options which we could enable or not. He was also VERY flexible in working to retain what we could from the existing system, integrating it with the new to give us continuity and, I feel, increased security.

Vector has always provided us great service with friendly and knowledgeable technicians. When our thermostat failed, a Vector technician was at our house in about 30 minutes to repair it so we could turn the heat back on on a very cold winter evening.

Carla ** from the Nederland branch was very kind and helpful! We were in a hurry and she helped to schedule our fire panel inspection within 48 hrs! I called late one evening around 4:50 p.m. before closing (Yes, I was THAT person!) and left a voice message. And instead of waiting util the next morning like most would have done, she returned my call right away! That really meant a lot. We look forward to working with Vector Security!

I am really pleased with service and installation, Jerry did a great job. He cleaned up after installation and showed me how to work my system on my keypad and on the Vector Security app on my phone. I really like the simplicity of the security app and how I can easily add a user code and delete or edit a code whenever I need to. Thanks for the great work!

Your technician Ray did an amazing job fixing my security system. He called me prior before arrival and was on time. He was very professional and polite. He also took the time to explain to me how my camera works and gave me steps to take in the future if I have any other problem with it.

I have had Don take care of my service with Vector Security for several years. I always request that he be the Vector representative who comes to help as he is a credit to your company. Don is always here when he says he will be here. He always rings ahead to confirm. He is very professional and has always been able to find any issues, explain them to me and to make all necessary repairs and hardware additions and amendments. I would be happy to have all my service people and tradesmen as skilled, courteous and helpful as Don.

Troubleshooting a low battery in a smoke detector and to help with camera video issues. All issues were resolved in a timely fashion and the technician was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would use this service again and recommend others to do the same.

Dan was here in a timely manner & was most pleasant & eager to educate. He changed out my doorbell picking a matching color to other hardware & explained thoroughly action to take if I have further issues. He even said I could call him directly. Very helpful!

We chose Vector Security because my sister and her husband have Vector and they were satisfied so we chose them also. We are very happy with the service we have received so far. We chose Vector because you are a local business. At first the service was good. Then, when the battery went down, the equipment failed to work. It would go off randomly in the middle of the night. It would not work when the power went out and would go off when the power came back on. If we weren't home when this happened, the beeping would go off until we came home...bothering neighbors. Finally, it just stopped working. Has not worked for months and no follow up from Vector....ever. No concern, no checking in why the equipment doesn't work. Nothing. Just collecting a monthly fee... I guess if we stopped paying we would have had a call. We set up service with a new vendor and have already had 2 calls in one week asking to assist with set up and how they can be of assistance. Wow, what a difference.

I have been a customer ever since Vector Security bought SSA. The service staff has always been willing to help me with any problems, the service techs especially. They have always been great to me. When there has been a problem it has always been taken care of quickly.

Derek was very clean and neat with the install. He was very kind and knowledgeable about what the job needed and made me feel that my family would be safe. He also told me about other things that Vector offers and I would like Derek to return to install my doorbell and thermostat that he informed me of. I would recommend Derek to anyone who want a great install.

Great job. Very knowledgeable and made sure everything was working to my inspection requirements, which required them to add an additional smoke detector to meet code. They knew what I needed and worked with me to get it done in one day because of our inspection schedule. Very friendly and kind and I really needed that today!

The staff always answers my questions and arrive on time. Great service. I lived in my house more than 20 years. I started out with ADT but have had Vector for 20 years. I have a burglar alarm system and it was recommended by my relative who also have Vector and also some friends who recommended Vector.

My son has their service so he was happy and I chose the same. Christine is awesome. Knows what she is doing. Would recommend friends and family any day to Vector Security. One thing that makes me happy is support. Always smiles and never gets frustrated. I think that’s a key. Keep it up guys.

Neighbor next door had an alarm system and I went over to see what kind of alarm and was interested in getting one and ended up calling to get my system. Now I am upgrading my system to be able to go wireless and not thru the phone line. Later on I am looking at installing a smoke detector installed by Josh.

Unable to continue for financial reasons. I have many hospital bills for superstars, numerous health problems and currently unable to afford. My experience with Vector has been good and I have told several friends about your service. It has been a pleasure having your service. In the future there may come a time when I am able to return.

Jay came to my house since a smoke detector was chirping & I couldn't get it to stop. Come to find out, it was from a different system from Vector as it was installed by the builder of my condo, not Vector. Even though he wasn't allowed to fix that one, he taught me how to take care of it. And he waited very patiently until I got it done, with his guidance. He continued to teach me about how the systems work. Before he got here, I was very frustrated and my dog was terrified by the noise. His calm, friendly and patient demeanor was exceptional. Vector is fortunate to have Jay as a service technician.

Torrence was on time for the scheduled appt. He was very professional. Torrence made sure my garage was working properly before he left. I chose Vector Security because I like their work ethics. Once again, I thank Torrence for being on time and very professional.

I have had this system for years. I am very happy with the service and technicians. Vector video helped to catch a very bad young man from breaking into my home. I was able to make photos of the video which assisted the police to identify the perp.

A salesmen had knocked on our door to talk to us about an alarm system. We got the alarm and now we are upgrading the alarm system. Josh the installer came out and installed new upgrade and added a deadbolt lock and a hallway Smoke detector and tested the alarm system. Mr. ** wants Josh to get a raise.

I have had Vector security for around five years now. I wanted to upgrade my system so I ran off of cell signal instead of landline. My service technicians were Ethan and Devin, they showed up on time, they were very fast and knowledgeable. I am very pleased with my service.

I choose Vector due to prior service. I have made a trouble call for my front door bell not working it took a year before Vector showed up to fix it. The customer service technician who showed up to my house was very good.

I needed a reliable alarm company to protect my family when I’m not home so I know that their safe and Not have to be worried about the safety at my home. As far as I know this company is the best so that why I feel a lot better about using them.

Jerry was very helpful and very polite. He talked to me about everything he was going to do and when he finished he explained to me what he did and I really appreciate that. We needed carbon monoxide detectors added to our current system because of gas heaters installed. The technician you guys sent to our home, Ray, did a great job at securing our home. He was very polite, professional and very knowledgeable with explaining how the system works. He also called us ahead of time prior to coming over to let us know he was on his way. He installed a app on our phone that we didn’t know we had and showed us how it all worked.

Don is always prompt and thorough. I remain a bit concerned about the quality of the equipment as I have to place service calls regularly to replace defective sensors. Perhaps Vector management could look into the quality of the equipment that is being installed.

I had met someone and we got to talking about security systems. They stated Vector was the company to call and so I did. I had a salesperson come out and the rest is history. I have also needed service and the service is top notch. Jason was my service tech and he was great. I can't say how happy I am to have vector security knowing that they are always there when I need them.

We chose Vector Security due to the competitive pricing givers the level of service provided. Our house was already wired for the system from the previous owners, but the install went seamlessly. The install technician and subsequent technician were both extremely professional, knowledgeable of their system, and personable.

We had a problem with system. Service person was on time fix the system. System working. We had problem, with the system about 2 weeks ago, Technician said it was low batteries and had me unplug system but did not fix system. Tech onsite found it was a module in panel that went bad and he replaced it and now system works.

Jeremy called before arriving at the scheduled time. We discussed my needs, walked the building down and came up with a game plan. We also discussed a problematic door sensor that had been generating tampers in the extreme cold, it was troubleshot and replaced. Jeremy is personable and knowledgable and worked efficiently in a rather crowded unheated storage building. His workmanship is commendable.

The installation went well as expected from Vector. Gary did an awesome job. This is the second home that we have had Vector with and this time we had the video surveillance equipment installed, so we are very excited about using the system. We will always recommend Vector Security to our friends and families. Thanks.

After nearly giving up and having all Vector merchandise removed from my home. Clyde came in and fixed it all including my purple doorbell camera. The staff has been wonderful. The guy who set us up and set up our contract was wonderful and the technician who came to the house was also wonderful. I wouldn't change anything except having to sign a contract and for having trouble getting out of the contract if needed because we are military

We have had Vector for over 12 years and have been satisfied with the customer service. We had several false alarms recently that we needed to have addressed. The Vector representative on the phone was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to schedule an appointment based on our availability, even working directly with one of the supervisors to adjust the schedule. Installation went well. The service person identified the problem sensor and it was quickly replaced.

Experienced low battery on garage door sensor. Called Vector customer service to schedule a service technician to come out. Also, I was experiencing beep noises from sensors. Technician came out to my home. He replaced the batteries in my overhead garage door sensor. Also, we thought that the alarm smoke and/or my house smoke detectors was having a low battery issue. Come to find out, it was my carbon dioxide detector batteries that were low the entire time. We changed those batteries and everything is working great now. The technician was extremely helpful and helping me to solve the noise problem. Thank you Vector.

I had originally chose Vector on the advice of a close friend who was having a great experience with Vector at the time. I have not been disappointed with any interactions with the staff. About a year ago I had an incident where Central Station called me due to an alert they received and in doing so I explained my neighbors were having a party late at night and I was uncomfortable. This prompted your operator to ask me if I felt safe to which I replied I did not and I was asked if I wanted police dispatched to the house. He assured me that they would not know where it came from and it made me feel comfortable in my home.

Service tech was prompt and very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Willing to take time to discuss/explain other additional security options. I explained that we were nervous about not being able to set alarm because of the bad sensor and he explained what to do next time if that happens again in order to set alarm. The customer service people we spoke to several times over the phone didn't think to tell us that and went over a week without setting the alarm while away.

The technicians that come out are very knowledgeable and professional. The cameras I have are very good, I really like the SVR system. I can go back and look all my recordings at any time with my phone. I can view all three of my location all from the Vector Security app.

Great experience so far. Fortunately have never had to use the security system for a real emergency so far so cannot comment on that aspect of the service. Good service but we have always had technical difficulties with our alarm service, sensors, and video camera. Glad everything is working again. It takes a long time for a service person to come out after reporting a problem. And then while he was here the alarm was going off and the call center calls us. It was a little chaotic.
