We have had Vector service for years for home security. The dining room sensor needed to be replaced. The tech Sean ** corrected the problem, set up the alarm system on my IPad and explained how to use any information we needed through the computer. He gave excellent service for us.

I am a long time Vector Security customer and I have been very happy with them. I recently moved and Frank came out and got me setup with a new system. Then Curtis came and installed it. He was quick, neat, and very professional. He was able to answer all my questions and teach me how to use my new security system. Great job.

Mike was very efficient, professional and social. He also explained the new installed system and its usage very clearly. Minor problems with reduced size of equipment due to technology but not his issue. Happy with the service as well as the company.

I have been a Vector customer for many years. The service technicians have always been helpful, professional and courteous. I have a maintenance plan and got a keypad replacement today. The technician was very helpful in solving a problem with the speaker.

My husband and I are long-time customers of Vector and have had numerous interactions with service techs over the years. All have been positive; all techs have been professional and competent. What we observed with Nick ** was of a different quality and, quite frankly, level of professionalism and competence. Nick is a problem solver; he is a higher-order thinker; he is persistent and looks for a variety of ways to take on a challenge. He is personable, calm and thoughtful. I've managed people for over 50 years in my career in education and I know someone who has leadership skills and abilities. I see this in Nick. I had a service call to fix a window alarm that had malfunctioned. Our rep Jeff was prompt, friendly and very knowledgeable. He was quick to diagnose and fix the problem. Jeff also took the time to check our motion detectors throughout the house—some of them had been turned off during a recent home renovation project that just wrapped up. He also walked through the house w/ me to identify any other safety concerns I had. Jeff was able to match up my target areas (extra front and back door coverage) w/ a product/service that Vector offers but that I didn’t even know existed. This new monitoring feature can be easily and inexpensively added to my current system. I appreciate Jeff’s expertise and ask for him whenever I call Vector for service or installations.

Jose installed a control panel, sensors and detector replacement. Jose was “outstanding“, very professional and 100% customer satisfaction. I want to highlight that Jose “Saved” a customer and Vector should be proud to have such a professional and with high integrity person that Jose displayed. I cannot say enough about Jose!!!

Nick did a great job walking us through the install and answering questions. He interacted well with us and our kids who kept talking and hugging him. He was very personable and approachable. The maintenance crew is on time for his job. He portrays professionalism while he was doing maintenance work for my sensors. He is open for questions and never hesitates to answer all my inquiries. I will definitely recommend him with good customer service..

Refund and access to customer service. Getting through using IVR system is hideous. Extension not recognized and since reps don't give first and last name the dial by company directory is useless. It seems that the online bill payment system isn't synced with auto payment system, after I paid bill online the auto payment system still debited my account...not good.

I recently had a upgrade of my security system installed. After the upgrade was installed, I had a malfunction of my front door lock. The Vector Security Technician came to the house and was very diligent in ensure that he didn’t leave until the issue was resolved and I was comfortable with resolution and felt extremely secure.

Jerry was polite when he arrived, I was very pleased on how he was dressed and greeted me with a smile. He completed the fire alarm inspection in our admin building and told us what all was done and he also completed it in a timely manner. We use Vector Security at a lot of our locations and we appreciate the awesome and great service. Thank you for taking care of our security and fire systems.

Devin was our Vector Security technician today, he came to add our gas pumps to our existing security system. Having our gas pumps secured is great for our company and customers. Devin was very kind and clean. He told us about our new system and showed us how to silence our system when the pumps open.

My alarm system had went off at 3 in the morning which frightened me not knowing what was going on, the girls at the office were very nice and assured me that they would have someone out promptly. Your technician was excellent and fast service!

We have been a customer of Vector for about 5 years now and the service has been great! We had another example of excellent service this week. One of the our contacts on our basement door was causing issues when setting the alarm. I called the service center and, as always, they were polite and helpful, but could not resolve all the issues. They did help me get the alarm system set with a bypass of the trouble contact and had a service call scheduled while I was talking to them.

Great service, technician is always patient and wants to do a great job each time he services my home, and he always does!! Technician is always on time and very professional, always satisfied with his work. Again very patient with me.

I chose Vector Security because I was in need of a security company and I have heard a lot of good things about them. The technician came out and installed my system. Nathan was very knowledgeable and professional. He even told me about the sky bow they offer. It resembles the ring doorbell so you can talk through it and also it registers motion and it all sends notifications to my phone. Definitely a cool feature and I’m glad that I bought into it. If anybody is looking for a security company I recommend Vector.

I have Vector Security at my home and two businesses. I was being billed for all 3 under one bill and needed them billed separately. I placed one of businesses under my husband’s name to make the billing easier. Nick came out and was great! He installed my original systems and done a great Job activating the system and educating me on operating the cameras and alarm system. Great job as always Nick!

We selected Vector based upon the equipment that was available. The installers were actually early and worked very well together. All equipment was installed in a timely manner. The technicians spent time explaining the system and how to use it.

We had in previous house and worked nicely. We wanted the door camera this time in new home. Absolutely love it! The customer service is great! Unfortunately our door is slightly defective so we need to replace lock again but Vector fixed it very promptly. We haven't used security system yet but the camera is great and the code to unlock and lock. Not having use key is the best. Steve has been great and he fixed and reset the entire system!

I have been with Vector Security for a long time. When I had issues with my system I talked with Craig ** and he offered to upgrade my system at a discount. Frank came out with the new system and told me everything thing that was going to happen and explained everything to me. Frank took his time to make sure that everything was done correctly and walked me through how to operate the system.

The service was good. Curtis worked efficiently installing a lot of equipment. He showed up on time and worked hard for the two day project. Gayle was very helpful with explaining everything to my husband and gave us a great deal. I would recommend Vector to everyone.

Suggestion: The Skybell Camera is not consistently capturing scenarios, e.g. deliveries of packages from UPS, FedEx, etc. This is a security deficiency that needs to be addressed asap. The technician, Orsino **, was very knowledgeable and professional. Thank you in advance.

I had Vector Security before and I switch to ADT For three days and I realized I made a mistake. ADT install the system and it did not work properly. I had three technicians out in the three days that I had it installed. I opted out of my contract with ADT and went back to Vector. Vector installed their system very quickly and was more professional and knowledgeable about the products that they were selling. Nathan installed my system and I am super happy to be back with Vector Security. I’m very happy and I do recommend everyone to look at vector for a possible security provider. You don’t know what you have until you don’t have it anymore.

We have a Vector Security system for the past 20yrs. We needed to have several windows replaced which necessitated removal of the old sensors and a reset for new ones. From the customer care representative (Rita) to the installer (Bob) the job has been completed and we are up and running. You have make the process seamless. Thanks.

The technician Nick arrived on time this morning. Very neat work and patient with working around customers to install my alarm and camera systems. I like the Vector App and how easy it is to operate. I like the inside cameras and how crisp the picture and view is on my phone. Overall, so far I am pleased with my alarm and camera systems and service.

Dexter ** did an outstanding job. He replaced the batteries for the security system. He talked about how I can access my security system online and kept me updated with the features of Vector security system. I am satisfied with his performance and would recommend him to others.

Doorbell camera needed to be replaced. Cover was missing. Master Bathroom sensor kept going off. Added new sensor. The tech was very knowledgeable with the doorbell setup and was able to get it operational. Bill is a true professional and courteous.

Evan did a great job. Installed 4 doors, smoke alarm and motion detector. Great young man, very professional. Answered all my questions and showed us how to do everything. We got the app, set up the code for the three of us and are ready to go.

We have had Vector Security since we first opened in 2013. We are pleased to know that our same technician that originally set up our system is the same one that came out today to service the alarms. We had a Vector rep contact at our old home and remembered liking what he had to say (we had SSA in that home). For this house we researched a variety of systems and liked the reviews. Additionally, our neighbor just got a Vector system and she loves it. I liked that everything could connect through one app on my phone and that it seemed user friendly. I also liked that there is a local office with local folks as installers and service members. Both Kevin and Ben were great to work with.

Because the house and HOA using Vector. The house already wired and monitor with Vector as well. We also upgrade cellular version for contact. The tech was very pleasant to work with. I would recommend him to friends whenever they need home monitoring.

Vector Security came out to install a doorbell camera and set us up so that we can arm and disarm from the app. The doorbell was not installed because our Wi-Fi was too slow. We plan on upgrading our Internet so that we can get this doorbell installed. It has a lot of great functions and it is very interesting and amazing. The technician Nathan was very professional and explain things in terms that I feel everyone can understand. All I know I am greatly satisfied with Vector Security. Hopefully here in the near future once we get our Internet upgraded we have factor back out too To install this doorbell.

In the beginning chose Vector Security due to service and cost. I have always appreciated the overall service with Vector Security (technicians and protection). However, the telephonic customer service at Vector Security needs some improvement. Other than that I am pleased with Vector Security.

We have been with the company for about ten years and have not had any major problems with the system. We have had a few minor problems like low batteries and such, but the issues have always been taken care of.

In this “plug & play” era with Amazon putting the package on your doorstep the next day, what keeps me a 40 year client of Vector are 3 reasons: SERVICE, SERVICE and SERVICE!!! The outstanding service provided by Vector tech “Jay” is an example of this. Highly skilled and very professional. I hope that Vector realizes the value of this quality service, I certainly do.

This is our first security system and Vector was our choice. The sales man came out and signed us up. Then Curtis came out and he did a great job. Vector offered everything I was looking for in an alarm company but so much more I ended up with a great home automation system. But the best part was dealing with Rod the technician. I’ve been around a long time and employ hundreds of people myself. Rod was by far one of the best and most knowledgeable service providers I have ever come across. When finding out that one of our HVAC system blew a fuse, this man drove to 3 Home Depot locations until he found the right one, came back over, got the system up and running and came back the next morning to assure all was working. Kudos to Vector and Rod for President!??. Amazing experience. Thank you!

Excellent service and fast response whenever there's an issue. Highly recommend and reliable. I have it with 2 of my homes and the online portion is very good too. Tech assistance is always on time. The price is very competitive and they have amazing keypads and sensors.

Install was seamless and the installer was a professional who has clear expertise in at home security. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything thoroughly and went over the expanding applications of the system. We were able to set controls and notifications for all the alerts we use within our home. Vector provides great service, educated employees and customer service from start to finish of our home security system.

I chose Vector Security firstly because the former owner had vector security. But, I was extremely impressed with Bill ** (sales) and his ability to understand my wants and needs and to determine exactly what services I needed. My interactions with the local office staff has been wonderfully courteous and responsive. Orsino ** had been exemplary in his service and demeanor. Orsino had also been very instructive about the app and the desktop application, as well. While I wish the price were lower, I am satisfied with everything so far. I hope you will sign Orsino ** as my permanent service technician.

The service with Curtis the technician was awesome! He explained everything in complete detail. He came on time, explained how to use my panel. He was very friendly and also Curtis was respectful by putting on shoe covers, gave me security signs and put them in my front yard for me.

We already had Vector and figured it was time for an upgrade into the current technology. While some of the do it yourself options sounded simple and a bit lower in price, the service and proper placement of devices was the reason for making this decision.

The service provided today was excellent! Mr. Dennis was not just on time but actually a little early. He was extremely professional and pleasant. My smoke detectors were needed to be updated. Jeff arrived in time slotted. Alarms were fixed and main station checked. Because of distance of main station and master bedroom he suggest a keyfob. This I really appreciated. I’ve used Vector for many years and have always been satisfied. Only suggestion for you would be that the older we get passwords can be forgotten. Sean ** provided exceptional service to help resolve my alarm signal issues. In addition to fixing the initial problem, he also made me aware of the alarm app I could be using to manage my system remotely from my iphone...something I had not been aware of at all these past five years! He was courteous and professional and thorough.

HOA monitors system. Rod ** serviced the alarm system. We found him to be totally competent and professional. He went over the techniques of manning the alarm, detailing how the alarm works and making sure we knew how it functioned.

Thru the Canes. Install went smoothly. No issues. Very professional. Joe and Josh and Jeremy came out and things went very well. They were here on time and did very thorough work. Joe was here earlier and informed us in depth about what would be installed.

Vector Security came and installed cameras at my house. I’ve been having problems with people causing issues and I felt like I needed a camera system. Vector came out and installed four cameras And I bought an additional two that will be installed at a later time. I’m super happy with Nathan the installer. He did everything very neat and was very pleasant to be around.

They NEVER respond to customer issues, even if you're trying to add a service. Initially I tried to add a new back yard cam, no one got back to me. Then my video doorbell stopped working, 2 months now, put a ticket in and no one ever got back to me. I have complained numerous times, no one ever got back to. DO NOT USE VECTOR!!!

The technician, Ray, came out today to service how home and get the doorbell camera working properly again. He also got the app working on our other phone as well. He was very polite and professional and we appreciate his service.

Initial reason I picked Vector was due to the deal but when Ethan came to install and seeing how dedicated he was I got double assured that I made the right move. Ethan was very helpful and explained things in super detail. Best experience I got from Ethan.

I previously had Vector and loved the service I received. My only complaint would be that since I may not be here for longer than a year or two I was not able to get the service with the cameras that I really desire. However, I understand this policy is to keep down cost to the customer.

On 8/12/19, I had my garage cleaned by two individuals, one of which I have known over 20 years. The same day, I noticed some items were missing from my garage. The next morning, I contacted the two individuals about the missing items and they denied taking the items. I immediately checked my video cameras and I saw the individual I’ve known for 20 years, who I thought was a trusted individual, with the items placing them in the bed of his truck. I contacted Vector on 8/13/19 and explained to them what I observed on my camera of the theft and they informed me they will send a message to Optom to contact me. Two days passed, no response from Vector or Optom. On 8/15/19, I called Vector again and I explained the urgency of the camera record needed of the theft on 8/12/19. Vector informed me they will send a message to Optom and they will contact me.

Tierra was amazing. She put every effort into calming me down and she understood my frustration with my system. She worked with me to try to resolve my problems with my camera system. I am extremely happy and satisfied with Tierra’s service. Kudos Tierra!!

Rick and Curtis were well informed and very easy to work with. All the products and services were gone over and exactly what we were looking for. Every question we had was gone over. After Curtis left, we felt that we have a secure system that will protect our family. We will definitely recommend Vector to our family and friends!

Window alarm kept going off. Jeff was very polite and kept me informed of the problem and what he was doing to resolve it. He renumbered my alarms to make it easier and set the chime. I was very pleased the service and his professionalism.

We went with Vector Security about a month ago and the tech came out and installed the system. We had to wait for a doorbell to come in stock and Nathan came out to install that as well. Nathan was a great technician and very knowledgeable. He helped us out on understanding our system and answered every single one of our questions that we had about the system. We also bought another camera for the driveway and he set up tripwires that made us feel safe. Our kids are now able to go outside and we feel safe about them being out there knowing that will get notifications if they cross a certain area of the yard. Amazing technology with an amazing company.

Even though my issue could not be resolved without it costing me an additional $160.00, I appreciate the professional, knowledgeable, and courteous service I always get from my Tallahassee Vector Security office. Orsino and Trey, as well as the office staff, especially Shannon, couldn't be any more pleasant or helpful to work with. I did not choose to spend the $160.00, which I think was too much money for a loyal customer of 14 years, but I highly recommend this company anyway for their superior service.

I was referred by staff of my house's builder. Staff is professional and responsive to my issues and concerns. Value is good, but the market has become very competitive. I can use the Vector app to arm and disarm my system on my device. Some companies provide inexpensive camera surveillance as part of their packages, but I like Vector. The monitoring staff are professional and respond if my alarm is trigger.

Well, for starters this job was slightly delayed due to medical issue from the previous tech. Kinda a bummer that the 4 day quoted job ended up taking about a month, but life goes on and we were glad he was alright. Curtis busted his hump to get the system up and running to make sure we were happy and we really appreciated it. Gold stars all around.

When I asked about a product like the Ring doorbell he explained your product and in fact we decided to add it to our system based on the information he gave us. He is very personable and easy to get along with. He was very conscientious about leaving the house in the same condition it was. When he was in and out of the house he was careful to leave his shoes at the door and wear booties. I would recommend him highly to my friends.

We had Vector Security come out and install their system in our house about six weeks ago and we decided to add doorbell cameras. Nathan came out and installed the doorbell cameras and answered all of my questions about the system and fixed a couple issues we were having with our system. I saw on a community facebook page that a neighbor worked for a security company, so, when looking for an alarm system, I decided to give my business to someone who lives in my borough. Jeff ** came to my home and gave me a reasonable quote, so we scheduled the installation for August 22. He was very thorough, personable and professional. He cleaned up after himself and went through all of the cool things that the system can do. The panel is extremely easy to use and I love that I can use my phone to arm and disarm the system. I am extremely happy with my system and will recommend Jeff and Vector to neighbors who might be looking to get an alarm system.

After a year of maintenance issues with our system in Virginia, I was able to get some action and expertise from the Director of Customer Service based in Richmond and she immediately sent Mark ** out who has a particular expertise and he identified the issue we were having and had two recommendations for remedy. The first did not work but the second did, both solutions required additional equipment which Vector supplied since our system had not been working since its installation over a year ago. Mark was professional and knowledgeable and should be commended. Thank you.
