I have been a customer with Vector Security for a couple years now. They have always been able to fix any problems I have had. Curtis showed up today and even though he wasn’t able to fix the problem. He did get it scheduled for someone to come out the next week and fix it. I would definitely recommend vector to anyone looking for security.

I was thrilled and so appreciative after connecting to and talking with Sherry ** regarding upgrading my security system. I had many questions and some confusion about upgrading. Sherry answered all of them. She was extremely professional and unbelievably knowledgeable about everything I asked her. She was also so patient. She made this 10 year customer feel so at ease and so comfortable in the decision I made to upgrade. Sherry DEFINITELY represents the amazing customer service manager and representative that makes a customer view Vector as such an enjoyable, positive experience. Installer showed me his ID. He was professional. He showed me how to work the system. He was diligent in his work. The alarm is installed and working well. He answered all of my questions. Thank you. Will recommend to others.

Ethan ** was my installation technician from Vector Security. He showed up on time. Very personable and looked very professional and had a great demeanor. We had a problem with our front door sensor so we called and the same day the technician was out. I feel this is GREAT service. Knowing that a security company has your back feels great. Chris came out to replace one low battery in one of our motion detectors and was so thoughtful to replace them all, knowing that all of the batteries were installed at the same time, and knowing they would soon all need replacement. He was prompt and courteous. The scheduler also remembered me from a previous call and was very nice. This is not something you get with every company.

We decided to go with Vector because the small business feel. We felt that it was important for us to know, and have a face behind our security system. It's hard to get that anymore, and that is the main reason we choose vector, asides the highly recommend reviews.

We've had Vector for about 18 years now. Great company to work with. This is at our vacation home so most times they are contacting us at our main home and have always worked with us to get help quickly and resolve any issues based on our schedules.

Previous installation was still present so we chose to remain with Vector for current security needs rather than pursue a different company. Planned installation went very well, though communication from sales person on front end was not great and took more time than we would have preferred.

I have had Vector for nearly 2 yrs. I received a call while out of town that 2 of my control boxes were not working. I called for service upon my return and received a time and date. Mr. Delesky ** came on time and performed professionally and quickly. He explained what he was doing as he worked which I appreciated.

Curtis and Nathan were awesome! Incredibly professional and helpful techs. Took no time at all on a large install and were friendly the whole time they were here. Erik was our salesmen and was also very knowledgeable, helpful, and overall made the experience awesome.

After the initial installation we encountered some problems causing alarm to go off without any doors or windows being open. Mr. Dexter ** came out and did the diagnostics and was able to identify the problem and fixed it. He was very professional and very competent. The problem was taken care of promptly and this time correctly.

Needed to upgrade old system to allow for celluar connection. We even added a few options that made the system more user friendly. Process was simple and straightforward. Nick was courteous and helpful, explaining options and installing the system to our needs.

Seventeen Years ago I chose Vector Security and have been pleased with the customer service; its value; and the installation went smoothly. However, I needed to make a budgetary change to reduce costs; therefore, I bundled my home security with Xfinity. I thoroughly enjoyed my Vector experience.

Mike ** was awesome - Christine ** was awesome. Both were set up for failure despite my calling and telling the issues were not so “simple” as described and understood by your personnel. I also reached out to another employee for help and never heard from anyone. I am satisfied with Christine and Mike but NOT happy with Vector.

Nicholas was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and polite. He provided great recommendations to provide the security we needed and completed the installation quickly. He also helped make sure that we could use the Vector app to get the most out of our system.

Chose Vector Security from past experience and local reputation in Columbus as the Blue Jackets security partner. Speed of installation and easy setup of remote app services was excellent. Will be adding more devices in the near future. Cameras, doorbell, smoke detectors and carbon sensors. May also consider thermostat and garage door module.

Installation of cameras around our property. Did an amazing job explaining the process and services we would be getting. Very helpful and knowledgeable about what he was doing. I would absolutely recommend. We currently have services with them and wanted to purchase more products from them since the service is so great and reliable. Vector is the only system we have tried and we love it. We've been with them for 5 years and we plan to continue our service with them.

Jason was Very timely and informative. He walked me through resetting up my doorbell and helped my entire family figure out the app. He also discussed while home service with me for the future. We have loved Vector Security and have used it for over 20 years. Jason has been out to service this new account as well as my others in the past. I really like that he answers my questions and makes me feel like I haven’t asked any silly questions.

We chose Vector Security because they offered the best value for services offered. Services rendered by Jim were prompt and thorough. He provided clear instructions while setting up both the keypad and phone apps. At this point, we are happy with our decision to use Vector Security.

I use Vector mainly because the previous owners had used them. However we have gone through upgrades, new security equipment, etc and every experience I have had with them as been a 5 star experience. Today’s service call was with someone who has been here several times and he is always pleasant and willing to look into any issues I bring up even though they weren’t on the original service ticket. This is a great benefit to me to be able to deal with someone who is this easy and helpful. Definitely a 5 star service man.

I have had my issues with Vector in the past. For example this visit was a revisit because the original scheduled visit, no one showed up. I did not receive a phone call to cancel, nothing. I called the very next morning to ask why I waited all evening for no one and I eventually spoke to Erica who was kind and solved the problem and kept me from canceling my account. As for today the gentleman called to say he was on the way, he arrived on time, he took care of my issue and then proceeded to check the other monitors to make sure if they too needed batteries. He was professional and polite. This is how all your service technicians should behave. Dale is a very good example of your team.

Originally installed in the house that we just purchased. Have heard good things about the technicians. Really loved our installer and would definitely recommend your company to others. I love, love, love Nick. He was very friendly, thorough and made us feel like we could ask any questions.

I was upgrading my system today. We added alarm.com today and now I feel that we can interact with the system easily from our remote devices. Terry has always been exceedingly helpful to us. He has been been working with us for over 10 years.

We have had a problem with our camera system every time we have a bad rain storm or lightning strike and the monitor that’s in the service dept keeps going off, Scott was out and had the problem resolved in no time and even took the extra time to install a surge protector for us and also adjusted the front lot camera. He did a great job and very happy with your services.

We had a service appointment for a camera being out, and also one of our monitors resetting. Unfortunately one of the cameras is bad. Scott diagnosed the problem after troubleshooting. The technicians were very professional. They priced new cameras and hopefully the appointment will be soon.

Terry gave us reminder call that he was en route and arrived 15 minutes early, which was much appreciated. He quickly diagnosed the problem with our motion detector and replaced it with a new one. He also checked other motion detectors and replaced the batteries in one of them to be proactive and avoid future problems. Terry was very professional and thoroughly explained what he recommended. Vector is fortunate to have a technician of such high caliber on its staff.

I have been a customer of Vector Security, since November the eighth of two thousand eleven. Had a inspection set up for today. Service tech called with estimate time of arrival. Arrived on time. Well dressed in uniform. Replaced all batteries checked over my system. Very pleased.

Interactions with the install Staff were good, installer worked well and had good technical knowledge about products installed. Am happy with the level of security I have on my property. Will have them put in a system at my other property.

Very professional and did a great job on the entire install. We had specific request and he was able to answer everything and installed the systems to our needs. I would highly recommend him! I have had Vector Security for a while now and I have been very pleased with their services. I just upgraded to have 6 cameras installed and the services are great. I love the camera services offered and would recommend to everyone. Nathan and Gary installed my cameras and did an awesome job. I had Vector service techs out at the Jackson pike site to fix cameras that were chewed through by rodents, the guys were very professional and cleaned up all debris, the cameras are back up and running and we're glad to have them back.

Great experience! Everything went smoothly. Vector offers good product and service. The things that could not be installed (door lock) was explained to my satisfaction. Technician also went above and beyond to check attic and found heat sensors that need to be addressed.

Mike the service provider and Michelle the service coordinator were very friendly and professional. They both provided great service and spent quality time looking over the house system. He reviewed the places that needed adjusted and fixed them, he also changed out our wireless remotes for updated ones. We would recommend both of them.

Dexter the repairman for Vector Security was very nice and polite. He called to confirm the time he would arrive to my house. He checked out the source of a beeping device in my hallway. He even cleaned up around the area he was working. He left my house clean as it was when he arrived.

Although Vector was not the cheapest option, we felt they provided the best value and service. Kevin **, our installer, did an amazing job with the installation and explanation of the features of the new system. I've had a relatively great experience with your company. I like that you have a customer service line that isn't automated, but it's not available on the weekends or evenings and it's almost impossible to get something handled in an emergency at those times. I like your overall service and what you offer, I don't even mind the relatively higher price in comparison to competitors, but I don't like the delayed response timeline to a trouble call. Your limited number of technicians has your team understaffed and overtasked which puts a ridiculous wait time on the customer.

JIM from Vector Security installed an upgraded system at my rental home in Scranton in a reasonable amount of time and showed me the whole system. I have Vector Security in my current home as well for about four years and have recommended Vector Security to all my friends.

I chose Vector because I have multiple locations that Vector Security is monitoring. I haven’t had a bad experience with Vector. I definitely recommend them to all. This is a note to commend one of your staff members. On Friday night (7/5/19) I entered my home with the sound (what I thought) was my keypad sounding. I called Vector and the first representative referred me to an emergency representative. This person was very patient and calm, while I was very shaken by the piercing sound of the alarm. He walked me through the situation to disconnect my alarm, but the very loud sound continued. He advised me to check my smoke alarm and Carbon Monoxide detector.

Rod was very professional and very informative. He was a pleasure to work with. Answer all our questions and went over everything with lots of patience. Very neat and cleaned up after himself. Very friendly and easy to talk to.

We have been with Vector Security for several years, and we were notified of a new device which would provide security if the power went out or the wires were cut. I recently had a new alarm and camera system installed. This system allows me to check in on my mother. It gives me a lot of information to know everything is ok at her house. It really gives peace of mind so I don't worry about her daily. Very happy with Aaron the installer. He was great! Very knowledgeable and easy to talk with.

We chose Vector Security for our new security system because we have worked with them for years and been very happy. Jim, the installer did a fantastic job with our new system. Jim was knowledgable, thorough in his work, courteous, and really helpful in explaining how the more complicated new system works. I would highly recommend Jim and Vector Security.

After 4 years we continue to have issues. Our initial camera install to our front cameras were plugged into the electrical outlet adjacent to the front door (outside): we just learned our smoke alarms are not connected to Vector monitoring, because they are our builders...and said They installed 2 separate smoke alarms but only installed 1. Worst of all In an emergency they can NEVER FIND MY ACCOUNT. They do find us after several calls, etc.

Vector was already in the home previously and we liked the customer service and the friendliness. We heard great things and reviews and decided it was the best fit for us. We spoke with Monte about the installation and he was very thorough in answering all our questions.

Peter installed my Security system 3 years ago he was very friendly and helpful. He came to my residence on the eastern shore to install my second system. I also referred him to my sister on the shore and he installed her system as well. He is very knowledgeable of his job and he care about his clients. He does a walkthrough of the system making sure you understand your new Security system. Peter cares about his customers and his job. Peter is the best.

I chose vector Security because my sister referred me to them she said she felt safe knowing that her home was being monitored by an security system. Peter ** was her technician. She said how friendly and helpful he was and came from Baltimore to the Eastern Shore to install my Security system. He is a good guy.

Mine was a troubleshooting call involving an existing system. Danielle was practical, informative and made every attempt to improve my current system's functioning instead of explaining my difficulties on an older system or trying to sell me a new one. She was knowledgeable, thoughtful and involved in our conversation which lasted more than 20 minutes. I offered to give her a shout-out which resulted in this review.

Years ago we had a gentlemen was coming around and door knocking and talked to us about an alarm system. We got the system and had one or 2 other upgrades but today Josh came out and hooked us up with Vector Security's newest security system and we like the new keypad and cameras a lot! Thank You!

Vector Security is the security company used by GL Homes. This was an installation visit for a new home. Representative was friendly, courteous, informative and respectful. HE arrived on time and called before arrival to inform of the arrival time.

Great experience overall, install looks good, Lee and William explained system features well, happy with everything from sales through the installation. Clean looking installation. The service tech came out to replace a basement door sensor which lost communication with the system, which he completed in about 15 minutes. He also did troubleshooting on the door lock which he offered to replace with a more reliable model... free of charge. Jeff ** is the best service tech we've had from Vector. He's prompt, professional and very knowledgeable about the products and services Vector offers, including the details of their functionality. If I need service again, Jeff is the tech I'll ask for.

Terry kindly called on his way this morning but I could not make the first appointment. He was able to reroute his schedule and returned later in the day. He also tightened a loose connection for my power transformer. Thanks Vector for a good service.

Our Vector Security installer was fantastic. AJ introduced himself and what he was going to do. He was very professional and performed the services in a timely manner. He was very nice and communicated well with us. I highly recommend working with Vector.

If the sales team and installers are the same this will be one of the most pleasant experiences, all while coordinating this from out of state.

We already had Vector in the house and expanded to the garage. He got everything done in one day and had all the parts. Explained everything well on how the second partition worked. Very happy with the install and service. Frank the sales guy had the correct equipment spaced out. And the cost wasn’t too high.

First time we heard of Vector Security was when we got broken into and we were referrred to Vector Security by another Vector Customer. We now are upgrading and Josh came out and helped us get updated to this new touch screen system and we like it better than the older system.

Vector had previously installed our system. Both techs were very knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to work with. Everything was on time and got completed quickly. Everything was set up and explained thoroughly. System was demonstrated and fobs were explained and set up.

Trouble light with my zone 2. Chris was on time and very knowledgeable about my security system. I hope our issue is solved. Only time will tell. He was patient and took the time to answer all my questions. He was able to pinpoint my issue. He also took the time to provide me with stickers for vector security for my windows and even made me a sign with my house number on it. I was very thankful.

Dave ** is an excellent technician. We needed service because I removed the smoke detector to change batteries, but could not get it back up. I was delighted to see him put shoe covers on to walk around my house, even though I had other contractors who did not have shoe covers on. He assess the situation and let me know what he was going to do, then he showed me how to change batteries and put the smoke detector back without making me look stupid.

We've been a long standing client of Vector and appreciate the depth of relationship and professionalism in their field. They prove to be an excellent resource with questions, concerns, or potential issues. Their staff is quick to respond, always cordial, and knowledgeable about your relationship with them. The only constructive criticism I have is regarding short notice, non-emergency appointments. I had to book 2 weeks out to update the administrator after a firm employee departure; however, I received a call the next day that an earlier time in the current week had opened up. The departure was not a risk to the firm, so I wasn't concerned with the timeline. The only reason I bring it up is to offer a point of improvement.

Had new windows installed and thought I’d have to replace all sensors and contacts but installer advised just the contact magnets could be replaced with smaller ones and would not have to purchase new contacts. I really appreciate the honesty and certainly don’t mind saving money wherever possible. I always recommend Vector to friends and family, and will continue to do so.
