I have been a customer with Vector Security for a couple years now. They have always been able to fix any problems I have had. Curtis showed up today and even though he wasn’t able to fix the problem. He did get it scheduled for someone to come out the next week and fix it. I would definitely recommend vector to anyone looking for security.

I was thrilled and so appreciative after connecting to and talking with Sherry ** regarding upgrading my security system. I had many questions and some confusion about upgrading. Sherry answered all of them. She was extremely professional and unbelievably knowledgeable about everything I asked her. She was also so patient. She made this 10 year customer feel so at ease and so comfortable in the decision I made to upgrade. Sherry DEFINITELY represents the amazing customer service manager and representative that makes a customer view Vector as such an enjoyable, positive experience. We been a long time customer. We've been issues with our old system. We decided to get a newer system. The technicians were great and professional. Zack and Tony were very informative about the install and newer system. I feel safer and more secure in my home with my newer system. Great service great job.

We had a problem with our front door sensor so we called and the same day the technician was out. I feel this is GREAT service. Knowing that a security company has your back feels great. Give me a peace of mind with my family at home. The technician Nathan was great. He was very knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem in minutes. I am very pleased with Vector. Have had nothing but great experiences with them. I definitely recommend them to all!

Chris came out to replace one low battery in one of our motion detectors and was so thoughtful to replace them all, knowing that all of the batteries were installed at the same time, and knowing they would soon all need replacement. He was prompt and courteous. The scheduler also remembered me from a previous call and was very nice. This is not something you get with every company.

Previous installation was still present so we chose to remain with Vector for current security needs rather than pursue a different company. Planned installation went very well, though communication from sales person on front end was not great and took more time than we would have preferred.

I have had Vector for nearly 2 yrs. I received a call while out of town that 2 of my control boxes were not working. I called for service upon my return and received a time and date. After the initial installation we encountered some problems causing alarm to go off without any doors or windows being open. Mr. Dexter ** came out and did the diagnostics and was able to identify the problem and fixed it. He was very professional and very competent. The problem was taken care of promptly and this time correctly.

Mike ** was awesome - Christine ** was awesome. Both were set up for failure despite my calling and telling the issues were not so “simple” as described and understood by your personnel. I also reached out to another employee for help and never heard from anyone. I am satisfied with Christine and Mike but NOT happy with Vector.
To wait 2 1/2 weeks for follow up fix (prior to Mike) is unacceptable. My service goes back to westec with my parents home in the early ‘80’s. Other than a time I was in a home (2years) with Guardian I have been with you either myself or under parents contact. I am not happy - when I am telling a person what is needed and not given the appropriate time by the scheduler that is an issue and you are dismissing my knowledge of the situation. Especially when I seem to have more knowledge than the service person - who made issues worse. I want no one to lose jobs but you all need to listen and hear what the customer is saying when making appointments.
I knew I did not have an easy fix especially after it ran amuck in the first apt. Yet, unfairly to Mike, he was not given time NOR appropriate devices to fix problem as it was lost in translation from first tech to scheduler. And as stated previously I could not get another apt for 2 1/2 week- not acceptable customer service. Word of mouth is a very important sales key. I am not sure how to respond with stars as I am happy with Mike and Christine. Yet THE ISSUE is NOT resolved. Cannot give more than one star but would give Mike and Christine 5.

Chose Vector Security from past experience and local reputation in Columbus as the Blue Jackets security partner. Speed of installation and easy setup of remote app services was excellent. Will be adding more devices in the near future. Cameras, doorbell, smoke detectors and carbon sensors. May also consider thermostat and garage door module.

Jason was Very timely and informative. He walked me through resetting up my doorbell and helped my entire family figure out the app. He also discussed while home service with me for the future. I use Vector mainly because the previous owners had used them. However we have gone through upgrades, new security equipment, etc and every experience I have had with them as been a 5 star experience. Today’s service call was with someone who has been here several times and he is always pleasant and willing to look into any issues I bring up even though they weren’t on the original service ticket. This is a great benefit to me to be able to deal with someone who is this easy and helpful. Definitely a 5 star service man.

I have had my issues with Vector in the past. For example this visit was a revisit because the original scheduled visit, no one showed up. I did not receive a phone call to cancel, nothing. I called the very next morning to ask why I waited all evening for no one and I eventually spoke to Erica who was kind and solved the problem and kept me from canceling my account. As for today the gentleman called to say he was on the way, he arrived on time, he took care of my issue and then proceeded to check the other monitors to make sure if they too needed batteries. He was professional and polite. This is how all your service technicians should behave. Dale is a very good example of your team.

We have had a problem with our camera system every time we have a bad rain storm or lightning strike and the monitor that’s in the service dept keeps going off, Scott was out and had the problem resolved in no time and even took the extra time to install a surge protector for us and also adjusted the front lot camera. He did a great job and very happy with your services.

We had a service appointment for a camera being out, and also one of our monitors resetting. Unfortunately one of the cameras is bad. Scott diagnosed the problem after troubleshooting. The technicians were very professional. They priced new cameras and hopefully the appointment will be soon.

Terry gave us reminder call that he was en route and arrived 15 minutes early, which was much appreciated. He quickly diagnosed the problem with our motion detector and replaced it with a new one. He also checked other motion detectors and replaced the batteries in one of them to be proactive and avoid future problems. Terry was very professional and thoroughly explained what he recommended. Vector is fortunate to have a technician of such high caliber on its staff.

Terry checked the problem out and determined the sensor needed an adjustment. All other sensors on this circuit were checked. Terry came out and was efficient finding the problem. I have had Vector Security for a while now and I have been very pleased with their services. I just upgraded to have 6 cameras installed and the services are great. I love the camera services offered and would recommend to everyone. Nathan and Gary installed my cameras and did an awesome job. I had Vector service techs out at the Jackson pike site to fix cameras that were chewed through by rodents, the guys were very professional and cleaned up all debris, the cameras are back up and running and we're glad to have them back.

Great experience! Everything went smoothly. Vector offers good product and service. The things that could not be installed (door lock) was explained to my satisfaction. Technician also went above and beyond to check attic and found heat sensors that need to be addressed.

Although Vector was not the cheapest option, we felt they provided the best value and service. I've had a relatively great experience with your company. I like that you have a customer service line that isn't automated, but it's not available on the weekends or evenings and it's almost impossible to get something handled in an emergency at those times. I like your overall service and what you offer, I don't even mind the relatively higher price in comparison to competitors, but I don't like the delayed response timeline to a trouble call. Your limited number of technicians has your team understaffed and overtasked which puts a ridiculous wait time on the customer.
The technicians you do have are awesome, including several that gave me their personal cell numbers to call if my system ever had issues in off hours and I needed help when I couldn't get ahold of everyone else. Clean up those few issues and your company would be a definite leader in the market and warrant the higher than average price. The alarm company I compare you to personally is SafeTouch in Jax, FL. I had their system for 5 years before I had yours.

This is a note to commend one of your staff members. On Friday night (7/5/19) I entered my home with the sound (what I thought) was my keypad sounding. I called Vector and the first representative referred me to an emergency representative. This person was very patient and calm, while I was very shaken by the piercing sound of the alarm. He walked me through the situation to disconnect my alarm, but the very loud sound continued. He advised me to check my smoke alarm and Carbon Monoxide detector.
I discovered that it was not my keypad, but my CO detector. He acknowledged that it did sound like my keypad. He walked me through the steps to disconnect the CO detector and reconnect my alarm. I don’t know the staff member’s name. I was too distressed that night to even think to ask. I have have his phone number because I sent him pictures of my alarm box so he could help me disconnect/reconnect it. (**). I thanked him for his help that night, but I wanted to go a step further to inform his superiors of the great job he did that night. I have been a long time customer, and I want to thank you for your good service.

I recently had a new alarm and camera system installed. This system allows me to check in on my mother. It gives me a lot of information to know everything is ok at her house. After 4 years we continue to have issues. Our initial camera install to our front cameras were plugged into the electrical outlet adjacent to the front door (outside): we just learned our smoke alarms are not connected to Vector monitoring, because they are our builders...and said They installed 2 separate smoke alarms but only installed 1. Worst of all In an emergency they can NEVER FIND MY ACCOUNT. They do find us after several calls, etc.
THEY TELL YOU their service representatives are employees they hire, background check etc. Not the case in my experience. We have always had subcontractors that often require my help googling to understand how to repair our garage doors, etc. The last straw 4th of July weekend. The service guy shows up Saturday because I called his boss. The original one did not show because “his truck” broke down. The one that came on Saturday, asked me for their monitoring company’s number - because he did not know it. When he could reach them he said he would have to set it off and the fire dept. would probably come out.??? He then Demanded our passcodes because he did not know his employee password, when we questioned him - he told us off, and let us know he doesn’t work on Saturday’s continued to be belligerent until my husband told him to leave.
Another “subcontractor” came Monday, Had no notes from the service two months ago to replace our system. The previous “subcontractor" spent 3-4 hours to learn nothing worked! He said they would be replacing my crappy system with one that works, actually saying the front door lock to garage door system and monitor key pad, etc. And they would call to schedule. And said they would figure out why we can never be found. Two months later I had to call. The next subcontractor Wanted to“ jury rig” our system yet again. When I requested the new system as promised by the last subcontractor - Craig ( the supervisor) refused until I agree to sign a 2 year contact with them. Why would I do that? My system has never worked, we can never be found, our cameras work less than half the time, and they do nothing to make it right.

Peter installed my Security system 3 years ago he was very friendly and helpful. He came to my residence on the eastern shore to install my second system. I also referred him to my sister on the shore and he installed her system as well. He is very knowledgeable of his job and he care about his clients. He does a walkthrough of the system making sure you understand your new Security system. Peter cares about his customers and his job. Peter is the best.

The service tech came out to replace a basement door sensor which lost communication with the system, which he completed in about 15 minutes. He also did troubleshooting on the door lock which he offered to replace with a more reliable model... free of charge. Jeff ** is the best service tech we've had from Vector. He's prompt, professional and very knowledgeable about the products and services Vector offers, including the details of their functionality. If I need service again, Jeff is the tech I'll ask for.

I chose Vector because my parents had the system already installed. My parents developed dementia and I returned home to care for them. My mother recently passed away and the system was in her name. When I told Vector of my situation I was assured that it would be easy for me to transfer the system into my name and to upgrade the system as well. Dave ** is an excellent technician. We needed service because I removed the smoke detector to change batteries, but could not get it back up. I was delighted to see him put shoe covers on to walk around my house, even though I had other contractors who did not have shoe covers on. He assess the situation and let me know what he was going to do, then he showed me how to change batteries and put the smoke detector back without making me look stupid.

Curtis was my installer and he showed up on time, and he did a great job installing our doorbell camera. He took the time to set up both of our phone apps for us, and even waited for me to get home to teach me how to use the app. I am happy with Vector Security and would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

We already had Vector Security and a basic system. We decided to upgrade in a big way with all of the modern features including cameras. Referred to from a friend. Great service and customer care. We've been a long standing client of Vector and appreciate the depth of relationship and professionalism in their field. They prove to be an excellent resource with questions, concerns, or potential issues. Their staff is quick to respond, always cordial, and knowledgeable about your relationship with them. The only constructive criticism I have is regarding short notice, non-emergency appointments. I had to book 2 weeks out to update the administrator after a firm employee departure; however, I received a call the next day that an earlier time in the current week had opened up. The departure was not a risk to the firm, so I wasn't concerned with the timeline. The only reason I bring it up is to offer a point of improvement.

Vector Security was wonderful. I didn't have any problems with them until it was time to cancel service. Another family is living in the house where I moved from and the security system is bugging them. They make it way too hard to discontinue services.

Had new windows installed and thought I’d have to replace all sensors and contacts but installer advised just the contact magnets could be replaced with smaller ones and would not have to purchase new contacts. I really appreciate the honesty and certainly don’t mind saving money wherever possible. I always recommend Vector to friends and family, and will continue to do so. Installer was also very courteous, professional, and friendly with my children. He made me feel very comfortable with him and trust in his knowledge and helpfulness.

Steve ** came to service the alarm. I have been dealing with Vector for many years and always received good service. Steve was outstanding... He arrived on time and was so thorough. He checked everything, replaced batteries, and made important recommendations we had never thought about concerning making sure the windows were not painted shut as they were. I wanted to let you know that I was impressed with my customer service experience from start to finish. The person who took my call assumed I needed a more expensive part to be replaced (I told her we threw out the sensor mistakenly when we replaced a door... so the misunderstanding was probably because of what I said), however, I'd rather a mistake turn out to be cheaper than more expensive. Anthony was phenomenal. He called ahead, showed up when expected, was courteous and friendly, cleaned up after himself, and hustled the whole time he was here. He didn't show any signs of frustration with me when I asked him to check two other sensors while he was here. He was proactive and honest.
I seriously keep thinking about canceling my service with you, as I no longer live alone and don't really use the system to its full effect. But when I get such great service, I put the decision off a while longer because, why should I mess up something so good? I fully recommend Vector over any other company in Jacksonville. Good customer service in the call center and great, trustworthy in-home service technicians. I'm a happy customer.

On the last day, they work with me showing me how the system worked. They were extremely kind, patient, and worked with me until I understood what each feature did. I had a service appointment with Vector security today and I couldn’t be more happier. I was in the shower when the tech arrived but thankfully he waited outside long enough for me to flag him down. He then came and replaced the faulty sensor and even asked if there was any other questions about the system, I responded I have questions but not about the system rather than him just leaving. Service man comes very neat and clean and is very knowledgeable. He comes on time and explains the problems and has always solves the problem on the first time. He always calls when he is coming. I would recommend Vector very highly because of the experience of your service rep.

We been with Vector Security for a long time. We just had a new system installed a Carbon Monoxide Detection System. Howard is the installer and did a great job installing the detectors and installing the new panels. I give him a well done.

I had some bad weather that knocked out my cameras and keypad. I called Vector and they responded very quickly. The technician that came was very knowledgeable. He put things into terms that I could understand. I’m very happy with my service. I couldn’t ask for a better security company.

The worst ever!! My cameras have not worked the way they were promised to from day 1! Can never get anyone to call me back, that is if you can in a hold of anyone before they shut their phones off at 5pm. The solution they gave me for problem, after calling for 2 weeks without a single return call (including the 800 number) was to spend additional money per month.... Total garbage!!!

I already had Vector Security so after talking with my rep Greg ** I decided to use the medical button that Vector Offers. I had the opportunity to go with a local company but decided against that. The service tech that came to my house, Joe was very professional.

Already in my home when purchased. Former owner did not have system removed. Alarm sounded. I did not have code to stop alarm. Customer service rep stayed on the phone with me until alarm was stopped. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM HER.
