I chose to get a security system with Vector because my home was broken into 2 days in a row. The technician that came out did a great job scoping out my home and installing the system to ensure that we would be covered in case of another break in. I am pleased with the system and the install. I will refer all of my friends and family to Vector Security for their Security needs.

Carried the product line. Everything was excellent and Kevin ** was above and beyond in the service that was provided to us by Vector. I would call again. Very pleased with Ben ** with his help on supporting the product that was on site. Was given a list of companies Vector being the fifth down on the list with nobody else responding. Vector went above and beyond.

Awesome job Jose. Thanks for coming out! Jose called when in route and are right on time! Jose was polite and professional. I’ve been having problems with my doorbell and I thought he was going to work on it but he seen the damage and replaced it!

Your technician did a wonderful job. Once I told him our problems, because we had several, he knew exactly what to do to fix them. Your technician was very professional and nice. We enjoyed having him service our home. He was very fast and clean.

I looked into Vector Security because I didn't want a big chain security company that didn’t care about me. My daughter did and it was just trouble for her. Derek and Ethan showed up in the freezing weather at 8 am this morning. The were very nice and had shoe covers so they didn’t get my carpet dirty. I've never had a security system and they made it easy for me to use so I don’t have to worry when I’m not home. They also installed a camera system for me that I’m very happy with even though it was very cold out.

The upgrade on my system went very well today. I decided to upgrade to the new touchscreen panel after I had a technician out for a service call. Dave, the technician I had today, did a great job. The upgrade was painless and quick. The technician was very professional and informative. He helped set up my wife's phone and my phone to the Vector app. I will be referring all my friends and family to Vector.

I choose Vector because they were featured on my employer's website and offered the best deal. Ralph ** was very thorough when he came to my home and made sure everything was clear. Ralph was also very understanding that I needed to adjust our appointment time. Gary was amazing when he came to my home today. He called ahead to let me know his ETA. He was very friendly, fast, and efficient. Gary also made me feel comfortable with my new system. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends. I look forward to working with them.

BOB ** is awesome! He has been here before and is incredibly knowledgeable and courteous. He switched us to the Vector Security monitoring from Security Associates. You would be lucky if you had More of him. THANKS BOB!! YOUR COMPANY IS LUCK TO HAVE HIM.

I had a preexisting service with Vector Security. The service technician for Vector Security was excellent. He was very thorough and polite. He provided assistance and instruction. I would definitely recommend Vector Security to others. He assisted me with contacting the main office with a billing issue.

We had a battery problem with one of our smoke detectors. We took advantage of our service contract to have a technician come to our home and fix the issue. While here, Bill replaced all the batteries and checked all the sensors. Staff was uniformly helpful, but Bill, the technician, was terrific. Only issue is the time it takes ---8 days-- to get a live technician to one's home.

Installation. He came back the day after I called. I am very pleased with the timely response. The problem that I have with my camera seems to be fixed. Big thanks to William to coming back out to fix my camera.

I had a low battery and called into Vector Security. The service dept did a great job getting someone out to my house to fix the problem. Curtis showed up fast and was able to fix my problem. He was fast and got the job done well for me. Vector did a great job.

Angel at office was great and Curtis that came out quickly to fix the problem was Awesome. Very respectful when came to our location. He fixed the problem in a very timely manner. Would highly recommend Vector to my family and friends.

I chose Vector because Dave was very informative and knowledgeable in his demonstration of the equipment...he listened to our needs and didn't press us to get anymore than we needed. Our installer Jim was punctual and extremely friendly and thorough. The equipment was installed exactly as we requested it.

We changed phone providers and needed to update. We have had Vector for twelve years and have never had any problems or issues. When I called after receiving the letter that Vector was not receiving the alarm alert I spoke with Bri and she set up the appointment timely. Bill called before he came and was very good and helpful.

I chose Vector since it was already in the home and everything was still working after 20+ years. My experience with the Engineering/install staff exceeded expectations! I have a type A personality and need to know each and every idiosyncrasy. The installer walked me through each of my questions and provided a very detailed answers. He was courteous and completed the install quickly! I will definitely be a long term customer.

Peter ** & Kendall ** handled the installation of our new wall controllers and/or upgraded previous ones perfectly. Both reps, were very articulate, humble and great to work with, explaining everything to my wife and me on how to operate the system, both, on the walls and on my phone. In our opinion they deserve outstanding performance appraisals, and/or a raise in salary.

I can’t say enough about the great service I receive from Vector. It is a wonderful system that does everything that we could want and need and helps to keep my home safe. The wonderful technicians at Vector always go the extra mile to keep the system working at its best and at 100%.

Called Vector as we have a maintenance contract with them. Our technician was very knowledgeable about all aspects of our security system and was able to correct all problems we had. We would recommend our technician coming back to our house again.

Jose did a good job, he made sure to answer all of my questions and concerns. I’ve been having a reoccurring issue with my keypads with supervision issues. Jose made sure to break downs the reasons and the options to resolve them.

Curtis is awesome. He was very professional. He also helped us with other items we may need to help us feel secure in our home. He arrived on time and was very helpful during the visit. He was very personable and helpful. Curtis gets 5 stars from the **.

I have a contract with Vector for my security system. I switched roughly seven years ago and was at first reluctant because the sales person selling the system was very pushy and I had always had good service with ADT. I quickly was glad I had made the switch when J ** came to my home a few times and took care of problems with my system, changing batteries, etc. Jay is the epitome of professionalism and knowledge intertwined. He always corrects the problem, answers any questions I have and certainly goes beyond with his assistance and offer to just accommodate an 80-year old lady. As I say, you have a real gem in Jay and Vector can be proud to have him representing your company. Like I said, I felt hard sell going in but he has certainly sold me on the company. Joan **

Vector came with the house when I purchased 15 years ago. I'm very satisfied with the service and today's interaction with Steve the tech were perfect. He found what our issues were and was upfront and professional. Highly recommend. We had our system upgraded a year ago and the newer technology is great, especially in controlling our garage doors.

I love Vector Security. Their system is easy to use. I have a few things install in my home. I have cameras, smoke detectors and I also use their services for my alarm system. The customer service is amazing. I always request Rod because he is fast and very knowledgeable. He really knows what he is doing. Also all the other technicians are great too. This company is very high tech company..

Nick show up. He did a great job I. He gave me information on how to work my doorbell. He let know if the new internet provider doesn’t use the same CenturyLink information that he will walk me through reprogramming my doorbell camera to my new internet modem. Nick was polite and I felt very comfortable with him in my home.

Everything was excellent. The service technician Bob was very patient with my dogs barking all the time. He is very knowledgeable about the equipment and explained what I needed with an additional camera. It does make me feel more secure because I have had issues with the neighbor in the past.

We’ve been with Vector for 7 years and have always been please for several years. We recently moved and wanted to stick with vector because they’ve always been good to us. Derek was very polite and courteous and knowledgeable. He wore boot covers in my house and was great with our old dog corky.

I chose Vector Security when a sales rep came around. He showed us the difference between their system and the company we had and Vector has more updated equipment. I've been well satisfied with the company. The people on the phone were very helpful and let me know of problems with my system that I didn't know I was having. We are long time clients, and when we had an issue with our residential system, a very nice young man named Chris showed up to make repairs. That was yesterday, November 7, and the problem was resolved. However, a new issue arose early this morning. Chris was again dispatched, and quickly took care of today's problem. We were extremely pleased with his professionalism and pleasant demeanor. We applaud Vector Security for having such a good technician on staff.

Rich ** is the best! Whenever I need service he is on top of things and when necessary accelerates the call. The most recent call for service was going to be 10 days out and Rich got involved and had Scott (also a great guy) out in an hour! Both Rich and Scott are clearly knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I'd recommend Vector to anyone needing a fire alarm system.

I would like to express my extreme gratitude for the job Philip ** did at my home. For about a year now since the install of my camera system my back left camera would fail constantly and my Front sporadically. I’ve had the install department back out three times in the beginning and Service out numerous times since everyone says it’s fixed but ultimately that night and the next day the cameras are off-line again. I have the upmost confidence that Philip has taken care of the issue as he somehow figured out a way to run a wire where no one else could and now my cameras come right up When I want to view them. Our home is new construction and the builder choose Vector and we are very pleased. Our first interaction was with Doug **. He was very clear and precise about our options when we discussed our needs. The installer Rod was AMAZING. He spent a lot of time at our residence because we had several cameras installed. Upon installation Rod went over in detail how to use the system and helped us with our iPhones (we are technically challenged). He was patient with our questions and displayed courtesy, respectfulness and professionalism throughout his time in our home. Rod represents Vector very well and is an asset to your company.

Vector Security was reasonably priced and everyone I talked to has been very helpful. Luis walked me through the process and how simple it would be to get set up. I feel safe always at my home thanks to Vector.

I didn't. It was force on me and I didn't like the service cause it didn't help what it was supposed to help with 'cause they did not follow the protocol with the service. They did not do a credit check. They just came to my residence and got me to sign my name to a bunch of paperwork that I didn't know anything about.

Nate was very communicative. Texted and called and went above and beyond in trying to help us via phone before coming out to fix the problem. He was very patience as well and worked within our time frame. He is knowledgeable and helpful.

Jay came to our house before to fix some sensors that were acting up. He called 1/2 hour before arriving and reinstalled sensors + 2 new ones, had all checked and was done within a 1/2 hour. He even answered a couple of questions I had about heat sensors. Jay is a knowledgeable employee and a very efficient and nice person. People like him are why I stay with Vector.

Updated on 12/07/2019: Nick showed up and reprogrammed the two existing cameras back to my Internet service. He didn’t take long to complete the job neither. My cameras are online and working great as before. The new internet service installed enables the cameras to be more streamline and no type of buffering or malfunction. Overall i am still pleased with Vector and the technician and quick service they provide.

Nick showed up and installed my outdoor camera for my driveway. He done an awesome neat and professional job! And he remounted and programmed my doorbell camera as well. I really like the driveway camera. Great picture and very good coverage. Overall, I am pleased with my Vector services.

My husband initially got the system and then I took it over. We've had a service tech to check the system and change batteries out in the devices. We utilize the system at night to arm and disarm as well as arming it when we leave the house. Currently Josh has come out to service the alarm system. He replaced the sensor in the living room and changed out any necessary batteries that were need to change out.

We already had Vector Security and was updating our service. Ethan and Deruc were very professional and installed without any issues. They took the time explaining he knew system and made sure we were knowledgeable about the apps on our phones.

The technician was punctual, polite and very well informed. He was able to address our initial concern the same day and also made some excellent recommendations. We will be considering to take our security system to another level within our budget.

The technician came out for a low battery. After checking the system it was discovered that our panel was no longer charging the battery. This lead to Tony (the technician) researching our service plan and informed me the Vector was going to upgrade our panel and keypads at no charge. I’m in charge of maintenance for my company, overseeing numerous buildings at which we have Vector. Issues will arise due to old wiring, bad device or just routine inspections. Over the past year I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with Nick **. His knowledge and skill especially with large and complex fire systems is outstanding. Your technician was very professional, he called when in route and arrived at the time the said he would. Jose listened to all of our issues and knew exactly what to do. We just had the system installed so we were worried that the system had issues but Jose assured us it was a common issue.

Ive had Vector for about 2 years. I recently wanted to upgrade to get a camera system for my house. Devin and Derek showed up on time and were very prompt with their install. They showed me how to use my cameras on my laptop and on my cell phone.

This is my first system with Vector and Frank sold it to me and did a great job. Curtis showed up on time to install. He was great. He was quick and friendly. He did a great job on my install. Choose Vector because, we had vector in our primary home, always great service with little to no problems. Service tech Bob ** is great, was contacted before appt. Bob was able to resolve issues and give info of the importance of having a maintenance agreement.

Security technician was prompt and very professional. Explain the entire system, upgraded panels and recommended to have smoke detectors attached to the alarm system. Would recommend service to family and friends. Really appreciate that the appointment was made and the follow up was persistent.

Just upgraded my Vector System. The Vector Sec. Pad that we are using upstairs to set our alarm at night stopped functioning right away. I called Vector and Devan helped me and set up an appointment for me. She was so nice and has a wonderful personality. Was recommended as the most reliable and effective security system by a friend. My interactions with staff (technicians, in particular) have always been excellent. Sometimes it takes longer than I would like to get a technician out to look at problems. I wish they could change all the batteries at one time instead of having to call for service with each bad battery.

Vector Security Security acquired our account from Cain Security. The only problem I really had was with the doorbell installation. The doorbell camera was not compatible to my old door chime. The salesman took 2 months to call back regarding the doorbell. Everything has been excellent after the original install.

We talked as they worked and we were super happy to have them in our home. I’m really happy with our new system. Now when my son's out of town for work I won’t have to worry.

Customer service is great. The rep Latosha ** is great all the time. Always available to help with my account. I have always have received great service. This rep is always helpful when you call no matter the time of day. It’s always nice to receive great service from here.

We choose Vector because they were confident with installing a system on a large size home. The installer was very knowledgeable about the system, how it worked, and what we needed on our home. He was very helpful with showing me how to install the apps for my phone and the online site. They were very trustworthy. I would have no problem recommending him to other people.

Installation. We had your system for about 8 years before and was awesome. The process and team were even better than before and we were very happy before. It totally exceeded our expectations. They went over everything in an amazing detail making sure we knew all about it.... very happy.

I stayed with them after the merger because I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. They have kept that closeness to their customers in every department of the company. Derek and Ethan showed up bright and early to start working on the system in the home I just bought. The old system was hard to use and Didn’t work very well. I had to leave during the installation and I came back to the boys hard at work. When they were finished they showed me how to use my new app it was so much easier to use I’ll choose Vector for any more of my needs going forward the techs were very helpful today.

Vector has been our provider for years. Although we found it very frustrating to deal with the limited availability of the service department Bill, the technician who came to help us, was fantastic. Very proactive, helpful and professional. We hope he is acknowledged in a way that is earning full to him!

Sales and installation people met or exceeded my expectations. Curtis was very helpful and patient clearing up some order confusion and helping me figure out where to put touch screen and add the door bell to my order. We even took time to come up with cleanest install options.

There are times when our account gets past due. It's Lynn **'s job to call and find out where the payment is. She is always very gracious and kind. I appreciate her professionalism and manner. She helped me get our account set up online so we can make payments. That was a relatively easy process. Looking forward to utilizing it.

HOA. They were about to cancel my account because I forgot to turn in my permit number but luckily I Agata Caught it and was able to rectify it for me in just a couple of hours. Great customer service. Had an issue and Agata was great. Cleared it right up for me, really appreciate that!!!

Existing Vector customer, just updated our system. We have had Vector security for more than ten years and when we changed our internet provider our old system was not compatible with the alarm. That is the reason we have now updated our alarm system.

I was referred to Vector by a neighbor. Great experience when installing and also great service. Had to have a battery installed over a year ago and they came right out and installed it. Today I had to have another battery installed and the installer was very professional and asked if I had any questions that he could answer. He showed me how to bypass one of the sensors. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. Great experience with Vector.

We had low batteries showing on our system as well as a tamper on app. Justin was out and he went through the system, changed the batteries and remounted the smoke that was taken down. He also cleared the red trouble alerts from our app.

Nick ** came out to service my alarm system, he was pleasant, courteous and very knowledgeable. He recommended I add some CO detectors as I didn’t have any. He was able to address the issues I was having quickly and get me back up and running. Thanks Nick!

Customer service was so helpful when we contacted them about our system low battery issue. Our only disappointment was that we had to wait several days for someone to come out. However the technician on time and was very professional. We were scheduled between 12 to 4 and we truly appreciated him coming at exactly 12.

I write this review only to applaud the customer service of Danielle this morning 10/29/19. Our account has been inaccurate for almost over a year. We have made several attempts to make corrections to the account with Vector. Danielle was professional, efficient, patient, and customer-focused! Finally, someone at Vector that could review our account, and correct the mistakes and billing!

Had Vector in Maryland before moving to Delaware. Vector made It so easy to move the service. Made all of the service windows and went the extra mile on installing door keypad when the home builder’s latch was not installed correctly.

I have had nothing but poor experience with Vector since I moved from my previous address. System doesn’t work right even after multiple techs supposedly fixing the issue. Just charging me more service fees and piss poor customer service. One lady told me my account was overdue 61 days when in fact it was not and then another lady in the service department literally asked me if I was calling about my internet service. Seriously. Then she tells me she will call me to schedule a service appointment in an hour cause she couldn’t schedule me right then while on the phone with me. She had to call me back.

We received a referral from another customer whom has your service. You service gentleman was very helpful and resourceful. He help us to learn how to use the equipment. The equipment has been helpful to keep our property safe and secure.

The emergency technician that came to our house on Sunday to assess the damage was professional and helpful. The follow up service from the main office was anything but helpful. I understand that storms present with urgency and I my need is no exception. However, I do expect the person answering the phone and controlling access to service to be helpful. She appeared to use that like a weapon. She seemed annoyed to be bothered by the phone call. If the office is understaffed, help your offices to help your customers.

My service technician was Robert **. He was extremely helpful and explained everything that he was going to do. He answered all of my questions. He mentioned about adding smoke detection system and explained the system to me. He is very polite and I am sure and asset the the Vector Security Company.

I transferred my Vector Security system from Strongsville to Hudson. I was extremely pleased with how Rick handled informing me of the transfer information and how that worked. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and informative. He was one of the best salespersons I’ve interacted with and I would acknowledge him at your next team meeting. Kurtis was a great installer, very knowledgeable, swift, and handled everything clearly. I am really glad I chose Vector and decided to go w/ them. Several sensors had set off the alarm for low batteries. As always, our service technician Bob ** took care of everything needed to resolve our issues quickly, efficiently and with a smile. We couldn’t be happier - Vector comes through again.

We first got our original system from our brother in law and my brother who had Vector Security at their house. We loved the system until but we recently had a hurricane hit us and we had to suspend the service till we got the house renovated. Vector has be the most responsive than any other company that we've had in the past. Vectors response time when we had a problem has been quick. Now we have a upgrade and we are happy with what we have.

Your customer service sucks. I spent more than ten minutes on hold listening to your recorded marketing message without ever getting connected to a representative. When I tried to leave a voice mail message by pressing 1 as instructed the system ignored that prompt and just kept playing marketing messages. How am I supposed to trust you to get it right if I have a real emergency?

The company changed names back in January of 2019 from. I have called, sent emails and called again but still the business name does not change. The open close reports still have the same wrong company name. I was able to change my email after three months of trying but the company name remains the same. Also people who are no longer employees are still on the account and I have been unable to get them removed.

Vector has been excellent! We have had Vector Security since about 2006. Vector Has serviced our security system with a excellent rating. I maintain a maintenance package which has been great because I haven't had to pay any additional fees for service.

A dear friend of mine introduced me to Vector over 20 years ago. I've had their service ever since. Even if something isn't right at first, they go ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure it is fixed/taken care of/rectified as soon as possible. Wonderful people and everyone who's been here to my home to take care of an issue has been amazing.

Very good customer service. Very reasonable. My service today was very good. The service representative called ahead to let me know how close he was to the house. He arrived on time and took care of the problem promptly. The service representatives are very professional. I really have no complaints with the service. Would recommend Vector to others.

I was misled about what I was getting. I have called three times asking for someone to call me to get what I want. I was willing to pay to get it. No one will even call me back to discuss anything. I am now exploring the cost of breaking my contract.

First class installation, exceptional expertise with Matt! I would highly recommend Vector Security to those wanting home protection or home automation. Matt did a terrific job explaining the system and high tech operation. We really appreciate the time Matt took in making sure we were comfortable with our system.

This is a complaint about issuing services of a three year contract for rental property. It doesn't make sense to offer such a contract agreement for renters. Any place you are renting will give you a contract for 1 year and then it becomes month to month. This is the case whether or not you are renting an apartment or a home. My brother was renting a home and we made it very clear to the sales rep that this was the case. He never said that we had to be under contract for a minimum of three years. I also do not recall reading this information which leaves me to believe that it was hidden from us.

Bob did a fantastic job troubleshooting my camera issue. He replaced the faulty equipment, reputed the system and it works great now. He was very thorough, competent in what he was doing and curious and very polite. I would recommend him to my friends and he is a valuable employee.

Vector was selected by our builder as a premier company in the delivery of security systems. The technicians and customer service representatives are all efficient and eager to assist. They have a good product knowledge and are familiar with industry standard.

Nick was a great tech. He walked me through the activation process and explained things easily. The existing alarm system installed works good still. May upgrade alarm system in the future once business picks up. Overall, the alarm system and service works great.

After my install I have had several issues with my cameras. The technicians are always very friendly and profession in the way they handled the situation. After replacing the cameras and WiFi bridges the issue still persisted but I think we finally determined it was the internet. They still went out of their way to assist me anyway they could. Great Technicians.
