Have been a Vector customer for 15 years. System inspected today. Bob, the technician was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and congenial. Would highly recommend Vector to all of my friends. Technical support is really awesome. I would rate this experience most highly.

Curtis did I a good job and he kept everything cleaned up. He also did a wonderful job explaining to me how everything works and helped me with setting my phone up. I am happy with Vector Security and would recommend to a friend.

Thanks again for sending your tech today. He was fast thorough and knowledgeable and I highly recommend him Being able to quickly fix my issue and making it so that I no longer am getting tamper warnings. Thanks again Vector Security systems.

I had a camera doorbell installed / within 2 hours chimes started buzzing and a burnt smell was in the air. I disconnected the wires at the chimes. Called Vector rep and they made another appointment to come back 4 days later was the soonest. I had a electrician come check out the burnt smell problem and he found the problem. The vector rep had installed the doorbell with 2" screws and shorted the wires inside. So long story short it cost $184 to find out the incorrect hardware was used. Today (Vector) they was to return but have not....So bottom line is, I'm out $184 because he used a screw that was way too long for the installation.

We chose to go with Vector Security due to our HOA company having a direct affiliation. However, after speaking with the team and Agata ** who assisted me, I would have picked Vector due to the excellent customer service I received. Agata was so helpful every step of the way and helped me take care of setting up my account and following up with me. Thank you for amazing service!

Just had a security system installed at my store. Vector Security gave me a great deal and Curtis was the one that came to install it. He was on time and did a quick and great job. He made sure to clean up all his messes. I am happy with vector security and would definitely recommend them.

I got a phone call and an apology from Vector. I feel they could reasonably charge me for some of the remaining contract to cover the cost of their equipment, but the representative was very sympathetic and waived all fees along with an immediate cancellation. Thank you Vector!

The app wasn’t working properly showing me the six camera locations. Rick was wonderful and patient and helped me to get everything back on target. Vector Security is the best in every way. I feel safe and protected at all times.

Recently, we renovated a 200-year old home and added a detached garage. The Vector Team designed and installed a wireless, unobtrusive, comprehensive system that met all our needs. These thoughtful professionals partitioned our system to be able to control the house system separately from the garage. We love the intelligence and flexibility of our Vector Security System. We got our alarm from Vector Security team installed. Good support from the person that installed, it was missing the vacuum system set but it was delivered few days later. One piece was missing and I called and had good service from the manager, quick solved. After that, we had a great support from Agata to get our alarm certificate quickly. She was helpful and fast.

Vector Security was perfect on the install and the installers were excellent. The equipment was installed to our satisfaction and well explained on how to use all the equipment that was installed. Our total experience from the sales person to the installation was outstanding and we would highly recommend vector security to others.

My experience started off great. My sales rep was very persistent and got me all the information I needed. Met me at the house. Was professional and informative. When the install happened, that's when it changed. Started off without telling me there would be an additional technician out to train. It was explained that they are taking every precaution and that I should not worry. Well it is not very sensitive to today's environment, plus there were no gloves/masks being used to help eliminate the spread of the virus, so not sure what they are doing differently to be safe. We had chlorox wipes and provided to them to wipe down door handles.

The sales representative was very knowledgeable and proficient in showing me all the key features of our system. The tech was on time and very professional. He took the time to make sure that I had all my questions answered and walked me through the full operation of my system. Great work! From the sale representative to the technician great service all around!

Nick provided a great customer service oriented experience in upgrading my old alarm system and installing my doorbell camera. He was professional and knew his stuff with the products. He explained everything to me clearly and answered all my questions regarding the camera, alarm system, and my Vector App. Well pleased with Nick and Vector Security!

Had Vector at prior house and wanted same good service and capability. Interactions with personnel were great. Helpful installer. Curtiss was polite friendly, extremely competent and a great guy. Tod set the plans up well And was able to accommodate to our moving schedule.

My home builder was partnered with Vector which led me to choosing the service. My Vector experience starting with initial contact by Greg through final installation by Derek was very positive. Both were very knowledgeable and helpful to me. The system itself is very user friendly and I would recommend.

I made an appointment to have my alarm activated. They were early to appointment and very professional. They activated system and answered all questions I had. They instructed me on use of keypad and I received signs for my yard. Overall, a great experience from a professional company.

We have been very satisfied with our alarm that Vector installed for us 10 years ago. We had one trouble with a door sensor about three years ago and another door sensor trouble today but those are the only two problems we’ve had over the whole 10 years. Very satisfied with the company and the equipment.

Vector Security website is very misleading. "Click here to see packages." Next page requests user contact info, the result is a message a representative will contact you shortly. Where were the packages? Edit: "you're almost there, please write at least 40 words" has popped up to further frustrate web users.

The house was purchased with a Vector system in it, I just had the Tech in to upgrade the system to wireless phone network and replace the smoke alarm, Tech was very polite and knowledgeable on the system and explained the function and answered all questions as well as helped us set up the phone app. Would definitely recommend them to my friends. My parents had them for 20 years without complaints.

I needed an upgraded system. The installation went great. You can not see any wires!! I can monitor everything from my phone! The tech was knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, and professional. I am very impressed with the service, the technology and the support staff.

This was a repair call. One of our cameras had stopped recording events. A.J., the technician, was very thorough and professional. He stuck with the problem until he figured it out. Installer Jim ** came to change our system to cellular so we can get rid of our phone landline. He was excellent. I ask appreciate the flexibility with the cost of changing. I have been with Vector for a long time and their service is excellent.

Our repair technician was very prompt and communicated clearly when he would arrive. He expertly explained the Analytics program which prompted us to add the service. His friendly demeanor and conversational personality was a nice change from other technicians who come to the house. Finally, his helpfulness in showing how to adjust the programs through the website and the signs to look for on our NVR was better than the previous technicians that have installed and serviced the equipment.

I was glad to see Vector come out among all these restrictions being in place. I was also glad to see your technician Dave ** wearing his personal protective gear. Dave completed his task in a timely manner even in the gear. I had three sensors with low batteries, Dave recommended replacing all the sensor batteries as preventive maintenance which I thought was a terrific idea. I will be staying with vector for a long time.

Rep was able to help me and gave me options how to fix my doorbell WiFi issues. She immediately sent me an email to help me troubleshoot my issues. She also gave me e option if I wanted to schedule a technician to come out but for now I will try to fix the issue myself.

The serviceman, Bob, explained the system very well, and he was able to correct our problem with a water sensor. We are very pleased with the service that he provided. Thank you for the fine service.

I came back to because I had a horrible experience with ADT. Vector has always been fairly priced with their monitoring and the service has been good. My interactions with my sales person Frank was good as well. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Gary was my installer and did a great job with answering all of my questions and getting me set up on the app. After installing my garage motion detector he noticed that the garage door sensor was broken and was happy to fix it for me, awesome experience with the installation and I will be recommending Vector again, Thank you!

We have used Vector Security from when it was called Westech Security. We moved from a home with an older security system that we were very pleased with and moved to a new home in 2019 and upgraded the system using Vector Security. We now have remote alarms, doorbell alarms, cameras, iPhone notification and delivery of information, and many other features. The installation and explanation of the new system was exceptional. The features of the system are great and we are delighted with the response time and the level of support that we receive from the professionals at Vector. The technology is great when you know how to use it and they make sure you know the system. I recommend Vector Security highly. Rich ** was my technology adviser.

Your technician, Dave **, was terrific. Had a low battery issue which Dave took care of. I told Dave, "System is very confusing to me, I have not been using it." Dave was wonderful. He went over the system numerous times with me so I felt comfortable using it.

Attendant called in advance prior to arrival and at arrival. Had a professional disposition through the visit. There was comprehensive information on what would occur during this visit. While installing, the attendant allowed me to carry on with my everyday routine without concerns or interruption. Once installation complete the attendant provided detailed information concerning the usage of the upgraded system. This was an extremely pleasant experience.

Existing service when we bought our home. Customer service is great, we have never had a reason to change. We feel secure and are satisfied with the service and products. Dave ** was the technician out today, he was courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful of our house.

Have had problem for 5 years, they can't fix! Make excuses for not being able to fix their system that did work perfectly. They won't fix the system because it may cost them a dollar. The guy they sent out this weeks tore our house up and it required hours of sweeping pieces of wood and our ceiling tiles. They left the complete finished basement like this and did not fix the system again. I am going to write a nice letter on Ripoff.com to help others not get taken from them in the future.

I was referred by a friend when I lived in Virginia Beach.. We moved to Suffolk and the transfer of the security system was easy. We needed to update our system and a young man named Rigel came out who was extremely knowledgeable and patiently explained everything to us in a way we couldn't help but understand.

I have seen what a great job Chris from VECTOR did in my daughter's new home security system and with no hesitation I wanted to get rid of ADT for their poor services. Chris did an exceptional job in replacing the security system in my house! Yesterday Roger ** came to install the camera(s). I let him explain his approach and location of cameras. He professionally explained the locations and why. Though there were other easy locations with less radius of vision he chose the most challenging with the maximum coverage. Being a Home Inspector I truly appreciate his efforts. He climbed in the challenging attic, very tight spaces, that I personally as petite man I cannot reach the soffit. He successfully completed his job, clean everything behind and explained to both of us the APP installation and it's full operation. Very hard to get such services nowadays of proud, professional and respected staff.

Installation of our system was completed in a professional timely manner. Nick was very resourceful in helping us with understanding all of the equipment that we received today. What I valve through most about the company is the relationships I’ve built over the years with the same technician (Sean) when there is a technical problem. I can always depend on these guys to fix the issue. Sean is an excellent technician and has great people skills. Vector need more techs like Sean.

Only option given by developer. The technician was polite, courteous and knowledgeable. He explained the system well and was patient. The initial telephone communication with the sales and service department went well.

Already a customer. We currently have service with a home and are selling it in the future. Will be moving into another home and wanted a system with a new panel and two new smoke detectors. Was very professional and knowledgeable.

Zack, the technician that came, is the best. He’s helped me with issues before too. As soon as I called he started helping on the phone. Came over within a few hours and resolved my problem. He’s very professional and such a nice person to deal with. I feel very comfortable with Vector Security knowing that he’s there whenever there’s an problem.

We have a Vector system installed in our previous house and have been happy with it overall. We had a different sales agent assigned to us this time and had a mixed experience with him. However, Nick, the installation technician was wonderful from the moment he arrived to survey the site through to completion. He listened to our questions and preferences, made suggestions to alleviate obstacles, and went out of his way to make everything work to our satisfaction. Also, He was always polite and professional and pleasant.

We had Vector Security for 20+ years. Vector acquires Night Owl. The Vector staff have been excellent I have not had any problems. The only problem I have is during a power outage when the panel is beeping. Customer care helps in resolving issue. It is also nice to arm/disarm the alarm system remotely.

Nick was pleasant and great to work with in installing my alarm system. Nick had a great attitude and was very patient in showing me how to operate my alarm system and keychain remote. I like the alarm keypad and how easy it is to operate. I feel that the system is user friendly and I now have a peace of mind being at my home alone. Thanks to Nick and Vector Security!

The service tech was very professional and friendly. He quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed the problem. He called five to ten minutes prior to showing up. The issue is that we had a bad sensor on the back door.

Very difficult to cancel service. Even after speaking with a representative on the phone to request cancellation, the form I was told I would receive to cancel never came and automatic payments were resumed. I even received notification that I owed for the month that I spoke with someone to cancel. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
