I chose to get a security system with Vector because my home was broken into 2 days in a row. The technician that came out did a great job scoping out my home and installing the system to ensure that we would be covered in case of another break in. I am pleased with the system and the install. I will refer all of my friends and family to Vector Security for their Security needs.

Carried the product line. Everything was excellent and Kevin ** was above and beyond in the service that was provided to us by Vector. I would call again. Very pleased with Ben ** with his help on supporting the product that was on site. Was given a list of companies Vector being the fifth down on the list with nobody else responding. Vector went above and beyond.

I looked into Vector Security because I didn't want a big chain security company that didn’t care about me. My daughter did and it was just trouble for her. Derek and Ethan showed up in the freezing weather at 8 am this morning. The were very nice and had shoe covers so they didn’t get my carpet dirty. I've never had a security system and they made it easy for me to use so I don’t have to worry when I’m not home. They also installed a camera system for me that I’m very happy with even though it was very cold out.

The upgrade on my system went very well today. I decided to upgrade to the new touchscreen panel after I had a technician out for a service call. Dave, the technician I had today, did a great job. The upgrade was painless and quick. The technician was very professional and informative. He helped set up my wife's phone and my phone to the Vector app. I will be referring all my friends and family to Vector.

I choose Vector because they were featured on my employer's website and offered the best deal. Ralph ** was very thorough when he came to my home and made sure everything was clear. Ralph was also very understanding that I needed to adjust our appointment time. Gary was amazing when he came to my home today. He called ahead to let me know his ETA. He was very friendly, fast, and efficient. Gary also made me feel comfortable with my new system. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends. I look forward to working with them.

I had a preexisting service with Vector Security. The service technician for Vector Security was excellent. He was very thorough and polite. He provided assistance and instruction. I would definitely recommend Vector Security to others. He assisted me with contacting the main office with a billing issue.

We had a battery problem with one of our smoke detectors. We took advantage of our service contract to have a technician come to our home and fix the issue. While here, Bill replaced all the batteries and checked all the sensors. Staff was uniformly helpful, but Bill, the technician, was terrific. Only issue is the time it takes ---8 days-- to get a live technician to one's home.

I had a low battery and called into Vector Security. The service dept did a great job getting someone out to my house to fix the problem. Curtis showed up fast and was able to fix my problem. He was fast and got the job done well for me. Vector did a great job.

We changed phone providers and needed to update. We have had Vector for twelve years and have never had any problems or issues. When I called after receiving the letter that Vector was not receiving the alarm alert I spoke with Bri and she set up the appointment timely. Bill called before he came and was very good and helpful.

I chose Vector since it was already in the home and everything was still working after 20+ years. My experience with the Engineering/install staff exceeded expectations! I have a type A personality and need to know each and every idiosyncrasy. The installer walked me through each of my questions and provided a very detailed answers. He was courteous and completed the install quickly! I will definitely be a long term customer.

Peter ** & Kendall ** handled the installation of our new wall controllers and/or upgraded previous ones perfectly. Both reps, were very articulate, humble and great to work with, explaining everything to my wife and me on how to operate the system, both, on the walls and on my phone. In our opinion they deserve outstanding performance appraisals, and/or a raise in salary.

Called Vector as we have a maintenance contract with them. Our technician was very knowledgeable about all aspects of our security system and was able to correct all problems we had. We would recommend our technician coming back to our house again.

I have a contract with Vector for my security system. I switched roughly seven years ago and was at first reluctant because the sales person selling the system was very pushy and I had always had good service with ADT. I quickly was glad I had made the switch when J ** came to my home a few times and took care of problems with my system, changing batteries, etc. Jay is the epitome of professionalism and knowledge intertwined. He always corrects the problem, answers any questions I have and certainly goes beyond with his assistance and offer to just accommodate an 80-year old lady. As I say, you have a real gem in Jay and Vector can be proud to have him representing your company. Like I said, I felt hard sell going in but he has certainly sold me on the company. Joan **

Vector came with the house when I purchased 15 years ago. I'm very satisfied with the service and today's interaction with Steve the tech were perfect. He found what our issues were and was upfront and professional. Highly recommend. We had our system upgraded a year ago and the newer technology is great, especially in controlling our garage doors.

I love Vector Security. Their system is easy to use. I have a few things install in my home. I have cameras, smoke detectors and I also use their services for my alarm system. The customer service is amazing. I always request Rod because he is fast and very knowledgeable. He really knows what he is doing. Also all the other technicians are great too. Nick show up. He did a great job I. He gave me information on how to work my doorbell. He let know if the new internet provider doesn’t use the same CenturyLink information that he will walk me through reprogramming my doorbell camera to my new internet modem. Nick was polite and I felt very comfortable with him in my home.

I chose Vector Security when a sales rep came around. He showed us the difference between their system and the company we had and Vector has more updated equipment. I've been well satisfied with the company. The people on the phone were very helpful and let me know of problems with my system that I didn't know I was having. We are long time clients, and when we had an issue with our residential system, a very nice young man named Chris showed up to make repairs. That was yesterday, November 7, and the problem was resolved. However, a new issue arose early this morning. Chris was again dispatched, and quickly took care of today's problem. We were extremely pleased with his professionalism and pleasant demeanor. We applaud Vector Security for having such a good technician on staff.

Rich ** is the best! Whenever I need service he is on top of things and when necessary accelerates the call. The most recent call for service was going to be 10 days out and Rich got involved and had Scott (also a great guy) out in an hour! Both Rich and Scott are clearly knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I'd recommend Vector to anyone needing a fire alarm system.

I would like to express my extreme gratitude for the job Philip ** did at my home. For about a year now since the install of my camera system my back left camera would fail constantly and my Front sporadically. I’ve had the install department back out three times in the beginning and Service out numerous times since everyone says it’s fixed but ultimately that night and the next day the cameras are off-line again. I have the upmost confidence that Philip has taken care of the issue as he somehow figured out a way to run a wire where no one else could and now my cameras come right up When I want to view them. We looked into security for the house and our shop. The technicians showed up on time and did a walkthrough of our house. Then they got right to work. They were all were all very friendly and got along well with our dogs and cats. The young men worked well into the night and it was very cold out. We really appreciate all the work they did for us now that we don’t have to worry about our house when we go away. We’re very happy with our choice to get Vector Security.

We Love Vector home security. Also great customer service and response time. Great protection for a affordable price and a peace of mind.. I have had Vector in my home for 5 years plus. Our home is new construction and the builder choose Vector and we are very pleased. Our first interaction was with Doug **. He was very clear and precise about our options when we discussed our needs. The installer Rod was AMAZING. He spent a lot of time at our residence because we had several cameras installed. Upon installation Rod went over in detail how to use the system and helped us with our iPhones (we are technically challenged). He was patient with our questions and displayed courtesy, respectfulness and professionalism throughout his time in our home. Rod represents Vector very well and is an asset to your company.

I work long hours, hence why I wanted a security system for my family. Luis ** came to my house after hours to help us design and pick out our system, he was thorough and not pushy at all like I've experienced in the past with alarm sales people. I highly recommend Luis and Vector security!

We chose Vector to ensure the safety of our new home. We also have young children that we want to ensure their safety. I didn't. It was force on me and I didn't like the service cause it didn't help what it was supposed to help with 'cause they did not follow the protocol with the service. They did not do a credit check. They just came to my residence and got me to sign my name to a bunch of paperwork that I didn't know anything about.

Jay came to our house before to fix some sensors that were acting up. He called 1/2 hour before arriving and reinstalled sensors + 2 new ones, had all checked and was done within a 1/2 hour. He even answered a couple of questions I had about heat sensors. Jay is a knowledgeable employee and a very efficient and nice person. People like him are why I stay with Vector.

Updated on 12/07/2019: Nick showed up and reprogrammed the two existing cameras back to my Internet service. He didn’t take long to complete the job neither. My cameras are online and working great as before. The new internet service installed enables the cameras to be more streamline and no type of buffering or malfunction. Overall i am still pleased with Vector and the technician and quick service they provide.

My husband initially got the system and then I took it over. We've had a service tech to check the system and change batteries out in the devices. We utilize the system at night to arm and disarm as well as arming it when we leave the house. Currently Josh has come out to service the alarm system. He replaced the sensor in the living room and changed out any necessary batteries that were need to change out.

The technician came out for a low battery. After checking the system it was discovered that our panel was no longer charging the battery. This lead to Tony (the technician) researching our service plan and informed me the Vector was going to upgrade our panel and keypads at no charge. Was recommended as the most reliable and effective security system by a friend. My interactions with staff (technicians, in particular) have always been excellent. Sometimes it takes longer than I would like to get a technician out to look at problems. I wish they could change all the batteries at one time instead of having to call for service with each bad battery.

Vector Security Security acquired our account from Cain Security. The only problem I really had was with the doorbell installation. The doorbell camera was not compatible to my old door chime. The salesman took 2 months to call back regarding the doorbell. Everything has been excellent after the original install.

Derek and Ethan showed up bright and early to start working on the system in the home I just bought. The old system was hard to use and Didn’t work very well. When they were finished they showed me how to use my new app it was so much easier to use I’ll choose Vector for any more of my needs going forward the techs were very helpful today.

Existing Vector customer, just updated our system. We have had Vector security for more than ten years and when we changed our internet provider our old system was not compatible with the alarm. That is the reason we have now updated our alarm system.

I was referred to Vector by a neighbor. Great experience when installing and also great service. Had to have a battery installed over a year ago and they came right out and installed it. Today I had to have another battery installed and the installer was very professional and asked if I had any questions that he could answer. He showed me how to bypass one of the sensors. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. Great experience with Vector.

We had low batteries showing on our system as well as a tamper on app. Justin was out and he went through the system, changed the batteries and remounted the smoke that was taken down. He also cleared the red trouble alerts from our app.

Customer service was so helpful when we contacted them about our system low battery issue. Our only disappointment was that we had to wait several days for someone to come out. However the technician on time and was very professional. We were scheduled between 12 to 4 and we truly appreciated him coming at exactly 12.

Derek called me before he showed up to let me know he was on his way and he was very nice during the whole situation. Ethan showed up later to help with my defective door lock. I have had nothing but poor experience with Vector since I moved from my previous address. System doesn’t work right even after multiple techs supposedly fixing the issue. Just charging me more service fees and piss poor customer service. One lady told me my account was overdue 61 days when in fact it was not and then another lady in the service department literally asked me if I was calling about my internet service. Seriously. Then she tells me she will call me to schedule a service appointment in an hour cause she couldn’t schedule me right then while on the phone with me. She had to call me back.
So here I sit after they have already closed and no phone call from Vector to schedule an appointment. It is despicable that customers are treated this way especially ones who had a good experience in the beginning then it seems they dont care anymore. I referred a friend and I will tell them to cancel their Vector contract and I will gladly cancel mine and go with another company that actually wants my business.

The emergency technician that came to our house on Sunday to assess the damage was professional and helpful. The follow up service from the main office was anything but helpful. I understand that storms present with urgency and I my need is no exception. However, I do expect the person answering the phone and controlling access to service to be helpful. She appeared to use that like a weapon. She seemed annoyed to be bothered by the phone call. If the office is understaffed, help your offices to help your customers.

We first got our original system from our brother in law and my brother who had Vector Security at their house. We loved the system until but we recently had a hurricane hit us and we had to suspend the service till we got the house renovated. Vector has be the most responsive than any other company that we've had in the past. Vectors response time when we had a problem has been quick. Your customer service sucks. I spent more than ten minutes on hold listening to your recorded marketing message without ever getting connected to a representative. When I tried to leave a voice mail message by pressing 1 as instructed the system ignored that prompt and just kept playing marketing messages. The company changed names back in January of 2019 from. I have called, sent emails and called again but still the business name does not change. The open close reports still have the same wrong company name. I was able to change my email after three months of trying but the company name remains the same. Also people who are no longer employees are still on the account and I have been unable to get them removed.

This is a complaint about issuing services of a three year contract for rental property. It doesn't make sense to offer such a contract agreement for renters. Any place you are renting will give you a contract for 1 year and then it becomes month to month. This is the case whether or not you are renting an apartment or a home. My brother was renting a home and we made it very clear to the sales rep that this was the case. He never said that we had to be under contract for a minimum of three years. I also do not recall reading this information which leaves me to believe that it was hidden from us.
Now it's been over a year and my brother was forced to move because the home owner was foreclosed on and now Vector Security is billing my brother for the remaining 2 years. He can't even get the system out of the house because he was told it will be there for the new owners. However, he is without a system and on the hook for paying the remaining balance. I think it's a poor way to do business. He paid in good faith during the time he was renting the property. He is on the losing end and I will never recommend this company to anyone. Please be mindful of the fine print.

After my install I have had several issues with my cameras. The technicians are always very friendly and profession in the way they handled the situation. After replacing the cameras and WiFi bridges the issue still persisted but I think we finally determined it was the internet. They still went out of their way to assist me anyway they could. The install went fine. Some field problems, but all were overcomed easily. The pole building is metal skinned with metal liner panel and communication with the house was potentially a problem, but with proper placement of the repeater it worked fine.

I have been a customer of Vector for several years after they acquired my previous alarm system company. Initially, their administrative operation was difficult to contact and obtain satisfactory responses. This has improved significantly over the past few years. The contact by telephone is now polite, responsive and knowledgeable.
The actual servicemen are very knowledgeable. They follow up with issues and coordinate well with the administrative personnel. The service staff are polite and always call prior to coming and are timely which can be an issue in rural areas. They do not recommend something unless it is appropriate and are not hard sell salesmen like some service providers. The service team is probably the main reason that I am so pleased with my experience with Vector Security thus far.

We have had Vector security since 1993 and we’ve been very satisfied all this time. We have recently been having communication issues and needed service to come fix it. Devin was our service technician today, he was on time, very polite and clean. He fixed our communication issues and now we’re all set.

We had some cameras and decided to add some more for security. We had a great service. Customer service is excellent and easy to talk to anyone when we need to ask questions. The guys were very professional and teach us how to review the recording. They set out phones and showed how to use the program. They are great.

The install looks good. The installer (Dave) did a great job at installing the equipment and showing me how it performs. The Doorbell camera is a very nice feature and a big reason why I chose Vector. I am having another outdoor camera installed in a couple weeks. Overall I am very satisfied with the services provided to me by Vector and Dave. I would refer Vector and Dave to install Security for all my friends and family.

Everyone from salesperson to a tech were very professional and knowledgeable. Really happy with the service. I would say the training at the end was amazing.
