I was glad to see Vector come out among all these restrictions being in place. I was also glad to see your technician Dave ** wearing his personal protective gear. Dave completed his task in a timely manner even in the gear. I had three sensors with low batteries, Dave recommended replacing all the sensor batteries as preventive maintenance which I thought was a terrific idea. I will be staying with vector for a long time.

Rep was able to help me and gave me options how to fix my doorbell WiFi issues. She immediately sent me an email to help me troubleshoot my issues. She also gave me e option if I wanted to schedule a technician to come out but for now I will try to fix the issue myself.

The serviceman, Bob, explained the system very well, and he was able to correct our problem with a water sensor. We are very pleased with the service that he provided. Thank you for the fine service.

I had Jim come and install my system today including an outdoor camera. He took the time to make sure it was positioned where I wanted it and set up the smart Analytics. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I feel secure and safe with Vector.

We chose Vector Security for their professionalism, reliability, And accessibility. We have talked with others who have had bad experiences with other companies. The monitoring center has always been very prompt. Most of all we feel safe with Vector Security.

We needed a new switch for the new front door we put in a few days ago. After the original call they offered service within one day. We needed to be upgraded to a wireless switch. We had a faulty sensor in our back room. The call center people were very nice and informative. They helped to temporarily fix the situation and got a technician scheduled to come out within the week. The technician was very nice, he fix the problem quickly and was very helpful. Thank you.

I came back to because I had a horrible experience with ADT. Vector has always been fairly priced with their monitoring and the service has been good. My interactions with my sales person Frank was good as well. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Gary was my installer and did a great job with answering all of my questions and getting me set up on the app. After installing my garage motion detector he noticed that the garage door sensor was broken and was happy to fix it for me, awesome experience with the installation and I will be recommending Vector again, Thank you!

Technician called first and arrived on time. Was very knowledgeable re the problem we were having and was able to fix in no time. He was very personable and we would be glad to have him again if we experience any problem with our security system.

Nick arrived and done an excellent job in troubleshooting my alarm system. He not only replaced a bad motion sensor but also replaced batteries in a Living room glassbreak and replaced a keychain remote. Bob was on time getting to my home, He called me to let me know he was on the way and arrived the same time we did. Bob suggested adding carbon monoxide detectors to our home, we liked the idea and he added 2 detectors. I appreciate the evaluation of the system and the recommendations Bob provided.

We have used Vector Security from when it was called Westech Security. We moved from a home with an older security system that we were very pleased with and moved to a new home in 2019 and upgraded the system using Vector Security. We now have remote alarms, doorbell alarms, cameras, iPhone notification and delivery of information, and many other features. The installation and explanation of the new system was exceptional. The features of the system are great and we are delighted with the response time and the level of support that we receive from the professionals at Vector. The technology is great when you know how to use it and they make sure you know the system. I recommend Vector Security highly. Rich ** was my technology adviser.

Vector Security came to replace a CO2 monitor. I have used this security company for several years and been pleased with their service. They have always been prompt, courteous, and pleasant to work with. I have no complaints and will continue to use them.

Your technician, Dave **, was terrific. Had a low battery issue which Dave took care of. I told Dave, "System is very confusing to me, I have not been using it." Dave was wonderful. He went over the system numerous times with me so I felt comfortable using it.

Attendant called in advance prior to arrival and at arrival. Had a professional disposition through the visit. There was comprehensive information on what would occur during this visit. While installing, the attendant allowed me to carry on with my everyday routine without concerns or interruption. Once installation complete the attendant provided detailed information concerning the usage of the upgraded system. This was an extremely pleasant experience.

Existing service when we bought our home. Customer service is great, we have never had a reason to change. We feel secure and are satisfied with the service and products. Dave ** was the technician out today, he was courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful of our house.

Jose ** is an excellent Technician. He was prompt, professional and courteous in his interactions. He explained the work to be performed and walked me through everything he did after the work performed. With the current COVID-19 situation, he took the time to wash. Have had problem for 5 years, they can't fix! Make excuses for not being able to fix their system that did work perfectly. They won't fix the system because it may cost them a dollar. The guy they sent out this weeks tore our house up and it required hours of sweeping pieces of wood and our ceiling tiles. They left the complete finished basement like this and did not fix the system again. I am going to write a nice letter on Ripoff.com to help others not get taken from them in the future.

I was referred by a friend when I lived in Virginia Beach.. We moved to Suffolk and the transfer of the security system was easy. We needed to update our system and a young man named Rigel came out who was extremely knowledgeable and patiently explained everything to us in a way we couldn't help but understand.

I have seen what a great job Chris from VECTOR did in my daughter's new home security system and with no hesitation I wanted to get rid of ADT for their poor services. Chris did an exceptional job in replacing the security system in my house! Yesterday Roger ** came to install the camera(s). I let him explain his approach and location of cameras. He professionally explained the locations and why. Though there were other easy locations with less radius of vision he chose the most challenging with the maximum coverage. Being a Home Inspector I truly appreciate his efforts. He climbed in the challenging attic, very tight spaces, that I personally as petite man I cannot reach the soffit. He successfully completed his job, clean everything behind and explained to both of us the APP installation and it's full operation. Very hard to get such services nowadays of proud, professional and respected staff.

Installation of our system was completed in a professional timely manner. Nick was very resourceful in helping us with understanding all of the equipment that we received today. He also helped us with understanding how to install and use the Vector app on our phones. His service was so good that I have recommended Vector and Nick to my mother.

We have a Vector system installed in our previous house and have been happy with it overall. We had a different sales agent assigned to us this time and had a mixed experience with him. However, Nick, the installation technician was wonderful from the moment he arrived to survey the site through to completion. He listened to our questions and preferences, made suggestions to alleviate obstacles, and went out of his way to make everything work to our satisfaction. We had Vector Security for 20+ years. Vector acquires Night Owl. The Vector staff have been excellent I have not had any problems. The only problem I have is during a power outage when the panel is beeping. Customer care helps in resolving issue. It is also nice to arm/disarm the alarm system remotely.

Nick was pleasant and great to work with in installing my alarm system. Nick had a great attitude and was very patient in showing me how to operate my alarm system and keychain remote. I like the alarm keypad and how easy it is to operate. I feel that the system is user friendly and I now have a peace of mind being at my home alone. Thanks to Nick and Vector Security!

Very difficult to cancel service. Even after speaking with a representative on the phone to request cancellation, the form I was told I would receive to cancel never came and automatic payments were resumed. I even received notification that I owed for the month that I spoke with someone to cancel. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I was having a problem with my panel. The battery was low and said that this was in power failure. I called into Nathan and he was quickly to respond. He set the appointment up and was out within a hour. That’s great customer experience. Highly recommended and very satisfied.

In three days I had a very friendly and competent technician who helped take care of the dead water bug under my refrigerator and then explained the importance of testing the Co detector. He also showed me all of the hard wired smoke detectors that are wired into the system. Bob covered all the financial details regarding my plan as to the charges for the day. I am very pleased with the Vector Security system and technical service.

I wish I hadn't stayed with them this long. Against my better judgment. I chose to stay and upgrade my system. When the technician came, the distributor failed to give him what he needed to complete the job. He stated he was coming back the following day, but didn't call or come. When I reached out, he stated the equipment hadn't come in, but that he would come the following Monday to install. Needless to say, he never called or showed. When I called Vector to inquire how long it would take for the equipment to come, she immediately reached out to the technician who stated he could come to my house at 9pm, or I would have to wait until the following Monday. I'm not happy at all. Mainly because of the lack of communication on Vector's behalf. Up until today when I reached out, I hadn't heard anything from this company. RIDICULOUS! I takes two weeks for an installation.

Don’t remember how we chose them. Been happy with service overall. Service technicians are professional and thorough in their work. Overall we’ve been pleased with Vector Security and think others will be too.

Spoke with Vin a salesman at the home show. Really liked the price and the performance of products. Steve was the technician who came out and installed our services, could not recommend him enough. He was beyond great. Broke everything down simply for us and couldn’t be happier with the outcome of the installation.

Take-over accounts from ADT because of their poor performance after 25 years. ADT failed to troubleshoot and repair the fire alarm at my business for almost six months. They were insistent on trying to sell me an upgrade in order to cover up their mistakes that were made in my alarm system that your technician found in minutes.

Curtis is an excellent technician who took care to pay attention to every one of our concerns. He respected our time and obviously takes pride in what he does to make sure we were happy with the product and service. I would highly recommend Vector Security to others.

We were alerted there was a chirping sounds from our detector - thought it was a battery issue. We were advised that the detector needed to be changed. When the technician came, he determined that it was in fact a carbon monoxide detector - not your detector. He was gracious and didn’t chastise us for our stupidity.

What good is it to have a security system when we are on vacation and the system will not function. I called your service Dept today and was told that I had to be at my residence to unplug the cameras that do not work. This is unacceptable. Thinking about having the system removed and going with a company that can give me the service that I expected. A pissed customer.

Jeremy was very professional and probably the most helpful of any support tech from Vector. We were contemplating canceling Vector and going elsewhere and he changed our mind by going over helpful tools we weren't utilizing or didn't know existed! He needs a raise!!!! Spent two hours getting our cameras up and running, door locks working properly, lamp plug stationed better and Cameras hooked up for motion detected properly. He was wonderful!!!

Chose Vector for good reputation. Smoothly functioning system. Today was a service call to repair malfunctioning sensor. Had TWO false alarms. Dell (technician) came to replace sensor. He also replaced outdated radio that had poor signal. Dell was fantastic. Kind, attentive, very helpful, knowledgeable.

I never got a phone call back. I been having issues with the system since day one and they keep charging me service calls. I would like cancel my service. I emailed asking for Management to contact me. In the email they told me if I cancel I'm in a contract and can't get out of it instead of trying to work with me. Bill was not only efficient servicing the problem with the system but was proactive in checking out the rest of the system - carbon monoxide detector, smoke, water sensors - all were looked at. He replaced smoke detectors that were more than 10 years old so I was reassured that y system was up to date. Good job bill.
