Found you online. Was with ADP and moved to new house in Cranberry. Your salesperson Natalie was very good and responsive. We ended up moving our old home as well. Danielle was good on the scheduling and the techs were knowledgeable and friendly. Had to use your support group for servicing and changing some defective equipment and they were very responsive and excellent as well to deal with problem and get techs out to replace. Different from your sales/install team.

Recommended by another customer and salesperson was credible. Service was good but service person was out of area and had about 2 day response time. Another problem was not being able to have cell phone service in the system. The carrier used did not have a signal here, other provides had cell phone response.

I already had service with Vector so it was easy to call them requesting for upgrade. The response was instantly. The lead technician scheduled me right away. Came over. Review the upgrade's terms and explained everything. Within two days I had the services I need and I am very pleased with the professionalism of all the technicians. I highly recommend the service to anyone interested. You will never be disappointed.

A++ experience. Super kind and courteous. Very professional. This was during Covid and Bob came in with a mask on which we didn’t even need to ask him to do. Hooked up the new camera quickly and everything was up and running quickly.

We have had Vector since 2014. We had to get our cell card upgraded for the 3G to 4G cell communication. I like Vector and recommend it to friends and family. I didn't know how long it was going to take but it was done pretty quickly.

I've had Vector since 2009, at 2 different houses. I called because I was having issues with my chimes. The tech Jarrod was on time, professional and courteous. He had my issue taken care of quickly. I have recommended Vector before and will do it again.

Called Vector on issue with the back sliding door sensor, cover snapped off. An appt was scheduled at my convenience and technician called ahead of schedule to confirm. Technician was prompt, courteous and on time. Issue was resolved immediately.

Everything works perfect, great service. The technician got the system enabled and replaced all malfunctioning equipment, including the secondary touch pad. Also verified all doors and windows, and placed properly the sensors. Great explanation on how to use the app and the central control pad and the additional features and functions available.

We had a service call into Vector and Jonathan came out and immediately knew where to go and what to do. He was quick, efficient and knowledgeable. We have had our system for about 6 months now. We just added more sensors and a garage door opener. Curtis and Steve showed up to install the new sensors and garage door opener. They were very professional and knowledgeable. They did an excellent job.

Don't recall how I came to have Vector, but not using as intended and do not want just now. Looking into other options. I did like the smoke detector feature the most, Not really using security as I have people coming home different times of day and times and forgetting to turn off.

Coordination was a bit difficult as I assumed the builder and vendor would sync up better - I often had to step in to adjust schedules/clarify.

The installation went OK. Everything else from that point has been AWFUL!. No one answers my many calls; no one RETURNS my messages; the website although it lists my e-mail address, but it still won't allow me to Log-in or to request a new log-in USING the e-mail address. AWFUL!!!!

We can't replace your service fast enough. We have had constant issues and unable to get help. The worst customer support, the longest hold times, the service schedule time is so far out, we can't rely on you for anything.

Offered when I moved in. Never any problems. One call answered immediately, repaired and explained why it occurred. Technician knowledgeable and friendly. Explained problems and how to prevent in the future. No problems since that time except storm lightning strike caused outage.

Sales person lied to me. So we signed up. Customer service is terrible. Reps are still lying to us. When I wanted to cancel, I couldn’t get ahold of anyone. Finally - days later - I got a call back. Was told they would email me the cancellation info and I would receive a call back from an upper manager but never heard from them and never got the emails. This company is terrible!

Nick did an EXCELLENT job with my install. He was very patient, kind, funny, informative, and enjoyable to have during this process. He answered all of my questions perfectly and was able to provide a lot of good feedback. His work is very efficient and within a timely manner. He ensured that he updated me throughout the entire process on what he was doing. When it was time to explain how the new equipment worked, he did a very good job explaining it. And he was able to explain it in which it was very understandable. He provided visual feedback with everything we discussed. I am more than pleased and appreciative of him. I've known Dave **, Vector Rep, for many years now since he assisted us a few years ago with the security system at our commercial property in Princeton. We have nothing but great things to say about Vector and the quality of service they have provided us there. When my wife and I decided to move to Bernardsville from Basking Ridge, we decided to discontinue our ADT service and switch over to Vector because of the great customer service Dave has showed us over the years. Very good interactions with all staff from sales to installation and monitoring. Quick and simple installation and very helpful when experiencing issues. Tried calling service department for HOURS before getting someone to pick up the phone. Then I got Andres! We talked about the issue, he offered some suggestions and instructed me on how to change the batteries myself. He followed up with an email with step by step instructions. The technician Bob called and let my husband know he was on his way. Her arrived on time and Tim arrived a few minutes later. He was a able to figure out what and fix my cameras. I just wanted to give a shout out concerning my experience with Dave today and Shari previously. I had been having a problem with Virtual Keypad and consequently the alarm panels ability to notify monitoring of any alarms. I contacted Vector. Shari in Service was very attentive to my issue and after some back and forth scheduled Dave's visit. Dave did a great job. His experience really showed. And he is a great guy. The office personnel was super helpful and answered all my questions quickly & efficiently. I just installed a Zwave thermostat to my existing system. Wow my little old house is getting so automated it’s amazing!! Lights, cameras and now this next.I’m getting door locks and what’s amazing is the App and the front door sensor. If the door is left opened the AC can kick off And send an alert.

The reason for the low rating is that we have not heard from any kind of sales or customer relations representatives since we've opened the account. Also, our alarm password and billing information are nowhere to be found on the online customer portal. I was only able to obtain any information when I reached out on my own. It would be nice to receive a status update or any kind of outreach from your company at least once a year.

Vector is betraying our kindness. For many years we were clients of Vector Security in Jacksonville, FL., Just before the COVID, we were on orders to transfer to Fort Sam Houston in S A Texas. We called Vector to inquired about transferring our account or cancelling our account. No transfer was possible so we ended up sending our letter and cancelling. Circa three weeks later we were ordered to stand down. The transfer was on hold because of COVID.
We informed Vector and they extended us. Circa 10 weeks later we submitted a new cancelation letter to Vector. My wife and I spoke to Vector because we kept getting alarm messages after the cancelation. They told us it will go away at the end of the month. And it did. Today we get a Vector Invoice, telling us that the account will be canceled when we pay the $55.00.... What is up with that Vector? Is that your way of saying thank you to a Loyal Military client. The office in Jacksonville, Florida is confused please help.

Kevin was great! He is very knowledgeable, very friendly and very helpful. Robert’s service was outstanding. After explaining my issue he knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it in no time. He walked around to look over the rest of the system and sensors. He asked me if I was aware that my fire alarms weren’t linked to Vector, which I was not, and decided to install the smoke alarms. All this time I thought they were and now they are, and having a toddler in the house, that’s one less thing we have to worry about. He answered all our questions and was very knowledgeable. I was an observer when my son had your application installed. I had to have my phone set up to be able to enter his house. It impressed me very much. Kevin was the installer and was so patient with all my questions I agreed to have someone out to see about getting Vector for my home.

Good? Calling for security results only in hearing the same recording over and over again. If I choose the option of leaving a message nobody ever calls me back. Very frustrating. Even your customer rating form is a terrible nuisance to complete.

I have tried for 4 days to get someone from service on the phone and nobody will answer the phone were will they return any phone calls. I've requested to speak to a manager and I have not heard from them as well. I have had a low CPU battery for a week now and can't get on the schedule to have it fixed.

The technician was great... Very thorough, professional and polite. He ensured that the Covid restrictions were followed and adhered to. Maintenance on smoke detector, medical alert and door sensors. Family member had at this address for several years. I have had Vector for little over 3 years.

Customer since 1992. New windows installed. Kevin was very professional and very friendly. Seemed to accomplished installation & address wifi signal issue in basement with signal booster. Vector needs to do a better job of informing tech of job requirements beforehand. Kevin did not know the color of various sensors required, or existing signal and false alarm issues.

I am a Vector Security employee, but also a customer. My technician called in advance to let me know his whereabouts and when he would be coming. Very bad service, told technician coming today by 4-4:30 and never showed or called. Asked for manual to be emailed to me before, never received. This is my review as a loyal customer for many years with Vector Security. My experience this year has been very poor. I reached out to Vector Security's service department. They could not accommodate me and explained that service visits were severely restricted due to Covid-19. That very night at 3a.m. I was panicked by a call from Vector's monitoring representative, quite shocking for me. Thankfully, it was again the upstairs motion sensor tamper. This has happened repeatedly, with no resolution on Vector's part. Very disappointing. I would not recommend the Covid-19 Vector.

I chose Vector based on a recommendation from a friend. I had the system installed when I first moved here. The installation went just fine. The gentleman doing the installation was very good. He told me what he was doing and how things worked. He answered all my questions. This most recent visit, because of a low battery and sensor in need of replacing, was conducted by the same gentleman who was here the last time when battery needed replacing. Anthony was punctual, pleasant and competent.

I Initially got the alarm system when got it for my retirement present and Vector was kind enough to install it for me. And not that I am in and out of my house a lot helping a family member I contacted Vector about a system upgrade and asked what Vector had to offer as for a new system. I believe Vector bought out the company I was with originally. The reason I went with an alarm system was for protection have my house and myself due to the fact that I I am handicap. Fortunately I had no incidents to require any real police intervention.

A contractor who built the old house who also did the whole development actually referred us to Vector Security almost 20 years ago. The sales rep Rick was out selling and made our sale. They are our alarm company that we have used for 17 years. We had a video doorbell installed and decided to add a camera to the exterior of our home and called. Did not consider anyone else. Dale came out for a service call and I spoke with him concerning the video camera for safety and he told us it would be easy to add. He was great.

My daughter in Virginia introduced us to Vector Security in which we went ahead and got the alarm because of her. All the interactions with the Vector Security employees have been professional and wore masked and made the presentation simple so we can understand it. I got a new modem, tried resetting the cameras and modem. I called the Service Dept. After two days of getting no answer and getting hung up on. I finally reached someone in installation who scheduled me a service appt. I found out that I paid $105.00 that I didn't have to pay because internally your Service Dept. needed to delete the cameras from the Alarm.com app. and reinstall them. I would like to know when my 3 year contract is up.

The reason we chose Vector Security is because of good reviews and our house was recently broken into and we did not feel safe inside our own home. Frank was the sales person that came out and he was very nice. Super professional, and loved our cat. Brendan not only arrived on time, but did an awesome job installing our system. Customer service today is a lost art. I placed a call to Vector 4 days earlier regarding a low battery and was given misinformation. Ms. ** addressed the problem and went the extra mile. I really appreciated her kind and patient demeanor. Businesses are folding every day due to this Covid-19 pandemic that being said CUSTOMER SERVICE is very important. Staff was great. Explained issue and what other features are now available. Explained process of changing passcodes, why I was having issues, etc. My system has operated for ten years with very few issues. I always get callbacks if alarms go off, etc.

Have had Vector Security since 2013. Had very little contact with them other than battery changes. Today I need to get amount of bill separately as we have three accounts. I held on the phone 25 minutes to get someone to talk to me. I am now holding on 55:45 minutes for the employee to find my account. This is unacceptable.

We decided we needed a key fob for our security system and we called Frank. He got it set up and scheduled for us. Curtis showed up to set up the new key fob for us. He was quick and also was able to help us with our app while he was here. We like Vector and would recommend vector to others.

Chose Vector Security because we have been using them for upward of 8 years now in 2 other locations. Always found the service to be great with no issues. This new install was no different.
