My architectural firm chose Vector Security. The technicians were wonderful in every way. They were courteous, very knowledgeable, and patient. I feel that I could answer any question. They cleaned up without asking and they took all precautions intermodal COVID 19.

Awesome service David was very knowledgeable and patient. He came to check the issue with my driveway camera, he ended up replacing it and he tested my system just to make sure everything was going well. I like the fact he was concerned if I had any questions. I also was able to add on the garage door opener feature. I would recommend to a friend.

I have had Vector security since 2007. Have done updates along the way. They have a Good reputation and plan on staying with them. Always have good experience with their technicians. Technician today found problem in just few minutes and we had a good laugh!!!

Todd was a pleasure to deal with at Vector. And Curtis and Steve were great. Quiet and nondistracting, but attentive, nice and polite. I have a really yappy barking dog and they were able to convince him not to bark by the second day. They are informative, polite, and incredibly knowledgeable. A total pleasure to deal with.

Bob called prior to coming to my home which prepared me ahead of time. I know this is normal procedure however, not only did he call but he was here at the exact time he said. He worked diligently and was professional in his demeanor and approach in my reconnect. He was meticulous in making me aware of and connecting me to all of items I already have through Vector and had not used. He was patient, precise, and a pleasure to work with. I would love to have him as our contact person always. He represents Vector very well.

The Vector Security technician called prior to his arrival and was very prompt, courteous, and efficient. The technician was helpful in recommending a course of action to remedy the issue and was able to make the required updates/repairs on the spot.

We feel we were misled in what we signed up for as part of our HOA covers a basic Vector Security system using our landline. We specifically asked for the basic no additional cost package when we called Vector. We were then told to call a specific salesman who then came to the house and upon arrival said ‘you want the basic service’ to which we said yes no additional cost. Turns out he only works with the basic independent WiFi service that is an additional $22/month and the form we signed had nothing clearly stating we were signing up for the additional service. The response after the fact was that he only works with this level of service so it must be the independent WiFi package and that we had made the mistake as we signed the form he brought.
It seems very convenient that they use the term ‘Basic’ across multiple products and weren’t clear that it would be an additional amount over the amount paid by the HOA who they clearly have a partnership with. The installer was great but we have a bad taste in our mouth as we received a surprise monthly bill when we thought we only had to pay installation.

Our overall experience with Don **, our Technician, is absolutely superior to any technician we have ever had come to our home for any type of service. Don is extremely knowledgeable, very service oriented, very personable, and knows his job extremely well. It took almost 2 months for service to change the back door sensor. The same time, I had a camera that wasn't working. I was told I had to make another service call, in which I did. It's been again...almost 2 months. I have been dealing with Ashley. I finally received a confirmation...again...with a no show...again. No phone call...no nothing. I'm so sick of this and want out of my contract, however it looks like I'm going to have to get an attorney. Even after everything I've been through with this company. Even after not having security in my back yard. Even after not being able to get anyone to show up after confirmations....This company has put me through hell and done nothing but lied and put blame on everyone else.

We recently refinished our basement, which required reconfigured and new alarms. Jeff could not have been move helpful/thoughtful in relocating our sensors in the first instance (several months back) and then taking great care to choose locations that prioritized our safety while fitting with the new design just last week. We will be requesting him each time we require a Vector visit. Enjoyable all the way around. Thanks again so much, Jeff.

We recently had a battery swapped out of our alarm box, and did not realize till later that two of our zones were not working properly. Our appointment for the fix was not until some 10 days later, but Dave ** was able to move some schedules around and fit us in yesterday. John ** came at the scheduled time and assessed the situation within minutes. He was able to make the appropriate fixes within minutes as well. It was apparent to me he knew his 'stuff'. He was professional, efficient, and made us feel comfortable that our security system would be working properly. Thank you again for fitting us into your very busy holiday schedule.

We already had the Vector system. We needed an upgrade. The technician Josh was very knowledgeable, and helpful. The process went very well. Vector rep, Josh went through the whole process with me. Josh explained the doorbell, the monitor to me also. Excellent customer service.

I contacted Vector security customer service about a sensor issue with my alarm at 6119 Dunzo Drive in Raleigh, N.C. I was informed by Sue F. that I also needed to upgrade my system to be compatible with 4G. I was very impressed with Sue's politeness, efficiency and knowledge of the issue. Sue set up an appointment for both the repair of my sensor and the upgrade. She is a very good representative of Vector Security.

I got my CO serviced by Mike today. Not only was he super professional and accommodating, he actually helped me with another problem! When he arrived, I was on hold forever waiting for a Verizon tech support to find out how to install a new battery for my WiFi. I just needed to know what type of battery and how to install it. I mentioned this to Mike and he said, “I might have one in my truck!” He installed the battery and waited to make sure everything worked. He’s a very personable guy and went above and beyond to help me. I wanted to recognize him today for his excellent service. Thank you- Raegen **.

Vector was recommended by a friend when I became widowed. I discontinued service on Monday, November 23, when I moved out of **. I picked up accumulated mail yesterday but no final bill from Vector. My account history will show that I always pay on time.

If the equipment wasn’t already here I would choose a different service. The alerts are slow and mostly useless. However I learned that Vector knows this already but for an added fee you can buy a way to make them useful. There are other companies with the same equipment at the same price with better alerts and faster access. Too many gaps in recording. At this point I think the sign is the best security element in this system. There is so much room for improvement.

I had an issue today with my system and I called Mike to see if he could help me with it by phone so I would not need a service call. Sonny has always been accessible, professional and mission driven. Our initial install was in a very old farmhouse with multiple outbuildings. Sonny tailored our protection to meet our unusual circumstances and suggested multiple improvements. During a recent power outage at odd hours, I picked up the phone and called. I caught Sonny between jobs and he was able to diagnose and solve our problem over the phone. It's good to know that we can rely on help when we need it. Highly recommend.

30 year old system needed an upgrade due to obsolete parts. Curtis ** did a great job with installation of new keypads, a motion sensor, shatter sensor. Instruction and advisement of how to user the new system was easy to understand.

We’ve had Vector Security at home for many years and chose to continue using them when purchasing a new system for our business a few years ago. I was having issues setting one of our alarmed areas. Call for support and got a callback in a reasonable amount of time. The lady who helped me was very thorough and tried many different ways to help correct the issue remotely, but the issue is going to require a technician to come on site. She was very kind, courteous and helpful.

As your file should indicate, we recently needed a large upgrade to our security. Phil ** contacted and responded immediately, quickly accessed and and gave us an honest appraisal of our needs. The work required at least three days. (My husband has had experience with employees and the public over the last 45 years). During the installation you provided Scott and John as technicians. Long time customer doing an upgrade after 35 years. My interaction with Crystal, Danielle and Ben was fabulous. They all took the time to go over and understand my needs. The end result was was I had my installation done today with KEVIN. He was right on time, very thorough in doing his job and explaining everything he was doing. The end result was to perfection. We were shopping around and found a sales person we could relate to, she did a great job getting us all hooked up with what we needed. Response time is great when the alarms have gone off, there is either a phone call or interaction through the console within seconds.

Don’t walk away, RUN from this company. Will not allow you to discontinue service, even after having almost 7 years. Claimed contract started over when monitoring system was changed from landline to cellphone. Just paid over $1000 for the balance of my so called contract even though I moved from that house in June.

We have a new space and needed a new security system. Vector has done a great job in the past. The technician was amazing. He installed the system and then was so patient with teaching us what to do! Our office administrator was out today so he let me take a video and also offered to follow up with her tomorrow. Called Todd ** with an issue. Too old system. Was convinced to upgrade. Curtis was scheduled and I asked to be put on standby in the event of a cancelation which there was. Curtis was rescheduled and showed up promptly at the scheduled time. He completed the upgrade in less time than I had allotted. I had an issue with my outdated security system, and Vector sent out a technician to check out my panel. Zach was great! He replaced my keypad with the new Qolsys, at a minimal cost. He also replaced my door lock, and 2 cameras, that were not working. I have a service contract so I didn’t have to pay anything to get these replaced! I wouldn’t have any other security company except for Vector Security!

I chose Vector here in PA since I contracted with them when I lived in N.C. and had their services for many years. Things change, and this new alarm panel takes time to become familiar with. One must read the tutorial on the panel as opposed to reading helpful information by use of a hard copy of a User Manual... But being a senior, I realized it would take practice. Shaun, the installer was very helpful and great to work with. I'm currently awaiting follow-up contact from Vector personnel regarding some concerns I have. Thank you.

Curtis did a great job installing the system. We discovered the existing Vivint system was actually a new. proprietary system so would not work. It was disappointing to have to buy all new sensors, but Curtis worked with sales and hooked me up. He also made sure to alert others about the new proprietary system so this doesn't happen to others.

The system was left from the prior owner. Matt from Vector came to upgrade and install the system. He was pleasantly early to the appointment and quickly installed the updates and taught me everything about the system. He helped me set up the app and walked me through the whole thing. The new installation went well. One day I couldn't get my phone to release the lock on my front door. I tried to use the key that was given to use to open the lock. but the key didn't work. The key is bent. Luck for me I had my keys for the back door. If I didn't have them I would not had been able to get in my house. Had to unlock the front door from inside. Would like to have someone to check this problem, so I could use my key next time.

Horrible service over a two week period due to phone waits and failure to get proper information. Of the 6 times I called I spoke to Morgan White and had an excellent experience and problem solved. Still think it could have been handled over the phone saving time, energy and money (yours) and my frustration but my service was free. Question answered in under two minutes and solved. Also had Morgan e-mail me a user's guide. Experience with her excellent, overall with company not so good.

We purchased the system 4 years ago and was never told that service calls and batteries were covered, Our panel was dead because of dead batteries. We were charged for replacement batteries and recently I looked up my contract and it states the batteries are covered. Now I am. I have called the office but probably will never get my money back. We have a Vector installed whole house vacuum cleaner that was disabled by a HVAC contractor. Vector sent Mike ** to assess the situation, within five minutes he was able to determine the cause of the non working vacuum. After donning his crawl space clothing he resolved the issue in fifteen minutes and our vacuum has worked perfectly ever since. Excellent customer service. They provided prompt Friendly service in a timely manner. They took care of the CO2 detector making it safe for my godmother in her home. The gentleman who service the home was very professional practice social distancing and use Covid 19 precautions as required. And this was greatly appreciate it since she is 93 years old. The cameras are working beautiful in the home. We are able to see her from many angles and that is greatly appreciate it. She is at risk of falling and this affords us the opportunity to evaluate when she is rising or sitting down.

I had ADT at one time which gave us protection throughout our house and gave us peace of mind. But when Vector Security came around and to our door we decided to go with them and so they upgraded our system to a wireless system. Now with all the cellphone towers being updated I decided to upgrade our wireless panel to the new touchscreen system. THe system is pretty simple to use!

The technicians are nice when they arrive, but interfacing with the phones takes a long time. I was transferred to wrong branch the other day, had to hold, then transferred back to Princeton, needed a service call. Wait times in hold were very long. Tried to press 1 to leave a message, but nothing happened when I pressed 1 from my mobile. Hoping making an appointment online might work.

From the installation on it took Vector 2 visits to get system installed. This after being told by Vector that everything was in. The 2nd appointment for installation was setup with the service manager Rick while I was calling in about issues with the sensor not working. Per Rick he had no idea but would have it checked during the 2Nd installation. The date and time was set. On the day of the 2nd installation when the 4 hour window expired I called Vector and was told the truck had gotten a flat and that they would send someone else. When the replacement tech arrived he told me that the tech scheduled never came into work that day?
I’ve had the system with Vector over a year now and have gotten to know many of the techs since there have been issues with the alarm sensors. Fast forward to 10/26/20 I’m sitting at home waiting on Vector tech due to a sensor issue and a 2nd visit due to a door alarm not activating when it was opened by accident (disarm code wasn’t entered). I was told on the first visit that alarm was deactivated? When I asked by who the tech couldn’t answer. So back to today I had set this appointment up the prior to about 10/ 18 or 19 for between 11 am and 1 pm. When no one arrived by 1 pm I called the Plymouth Meeting Pa office. I was was told that my appointment was for 12 to 4 pm ???? and that’s all the customer service person know and not why any change was made.

The installers have NO idea what they are doing...When the rep came out "sereptra" she seemed to be on speed or drugs...I had to actually teach the installer how to run the wires without drilling multiple holes through my outside wall, I have Pictures, worst experience I've ever had with a company that's proclaims professionalism...Stay away...Can add more pics...They drilled straight through my outside wall and left the exposed on the inside...Rain water could follow the wire to the inside...Glad I was here to help the guy or I'd be replacing my floor...DO NOT USE VECTOR IN POWDERSVILLE SC, as seen in the pics I had to use the "stuff" to fill the holes on bother the outside wall and inside wall...Had over 2 hours of work myself fixing their lack of knowledge,..would not let me upload photos...I'll share if needed at **...Thanks.

I chose Vector because my neighbor recommended them. The salesman was hard to deal with. The system has never worked properly. Took 3 tries with 3 different Vector personnel to get it programmed to my phone. The system has only one motion detector that only covers the living room. There are no window sensors at all and the glass break sensor has never worked properly. The cost for this inferior system per month is twice what it should be for the minimal equipment installed. Very disappointed in the whole deal.

Vector Security did the installation of the system back in 2017. We began having problems several months ago with system failing. Jeremy came out twice and diagnosed the problem during the second service call. He was very professional and honest from the very first service call. He let us know what the problem was (system was obsolete 4 months from original installation and didn't have the memory to update the system), this was very frustrating as we could not log in to activate, deactivate badges or make any changes to the doors for the site. Jeremy did not charge us for the service calls or the new equipment that was needed to get us up and running. Jeremy made an extremely frustrating situation so much more bearable. He is an asset to your company and he will be the resource we reach out to for any further issues. Thank you Jeremy for all your hard work, time and Patience - it was greatly appreciated!

My alarm went off and the beeping noise was very annoying. I did not have the capability of replacing the battery myself. Rita at the help desk was wonderful. It was a Sunday in mid July. My family was boating, enjoying the hot summer day. Suddenly, a late afternoon thunderstorm hit my neighborhood. No one was home except for the family feline, Frankie. Unfortunately lightning hit our chimney, traveled down and caused a fire in our home. Vector immediately phoned us since the smoke detector activated. We missed the call...they sent our local fire department. All I can say..with chills..is thank God we had a security system. We would have lost our home and Frankie. It was a very dry, hot and windy day. The fireman were able to contain the fire fairly rapidly. Thank you Vector.

My new installation is so great. I like it way better than CPI. My father got this installed for me and I was so happy because I did not know what kind of security system I wanted. Battery was low in one sensor and we needed a new 4g upgrade on our panel. Tech was super! He explained the need for the 4g upgrade, took the time to swap out ALL the batteries in all of my sensors and smoke detector. Vector really takes care of their customers.

My dad passed away and we sold the house. I contacted Vector and customer service was sensitive to our needs and responded expeditiously in terminating the account. My parents used Vector for a number of years and was very satisfied with the safety and security the alarms system provided.

I have been waiting weeks for someone to come out to identify CAT6 runs in my house. They should have been tagged during construction. Guy comes out finally, and tells me I have to make another appointment. He clearly wasn't told by the dispatcher what had to be done. Other than that the tech who finally came out to do all the other things was great, probably the best person working for the company. From my brief but numerous interactions with this company I can tell you they have some good people working for them but clearly have an unorganized back office which sabotages their best efforts.

The combination of equipment and pricing seemed better than the other companies I looked into. The installation went well. I have no complaints. I wish there was a better way to arm the system at night so that the motion detector would be functional without having to turn off the location setting.
