    The entire process, service etc. No follow up to initiate installation after dealing with the sales person. Installation took multiple days that I had to miss work. A proper training of the system was not ever done. Too long of a contract/commitment for such a crappy service. Alarm falsely goes off, sensitive to thunder, smoke, etc. No one calls to check. No one can help turn it off. No helpful emergency after hours line or service. All cameras stopped working and were never repaired. Waste of money! I had an issue, and they couldn’t even find my acct. even with an acct number, as if I never existed. Yet I sure get billed!

    I paid my March bill by check AND they charged my credit card also. So far they have not contacted me about the over payment. The security system has gone down at least three times since it was upgraded. The last time the system was down for 10 days. The general manager I was told would call me, which he never did. When I call the Richmond office, he was never in or that's what the phone operator always told me.

    On alarm.com. It truly has been one thing after another. Technicians are great. But, when one thing is fixed another malfunctions. Now we literally have a low battery which has beeped every 30 minutes since 1147 last night. Service is great but quality is less than acceptable.

    Local company and customer service available after 5:00pm on a Friday. Murphy’s law is most emergency happen after 5:00om on Friday. Customers need help 24/7.... Real help not a phone call that puts you on hold for 30 minutes only to transferred again. That did happen to me until Andrew from Virginia spoke with me and gave me real assistance and is a true concerned /competent employee. All employees should have his level of customer service. He is a real leader and he should have a management position.

    I had an outdoor camera installed and it hasn't worked correctly at all. Three techs have been here, but the problem has not been resolved. Calling the company always results in leaving a message, you cannot speak to someone, and the problem cannot be addressed right away. I've had to wait 2 - 3 days for someone to come to my home. I asked for a new camera to be installed, and if that does not help, I will cancel service for the camera. (They did assure me a tech could install a new camera the next day.) The home alarm system seems to work fine, it's easy to arm/disarm, but it is not what I was concerned with. I really needed a camera, particularly at night, as my property had been vandalized after midnight. If I had to do this all over again, I would not go with this company.

    After being transferred over to 3 different people I would of thought at least 1 of them would of had good if not great customer service. Rude isn't even a word to how I was treated. Customer service may not be a job for who ever you have in those desk doing the talking. I got absolutely no help from these people. With how the weather was last night I won't be the only one calling about something being wrong in my house and I feel bad for the people calling if this is how they are gonna get treated. The first person I spoke to even had the nerves to hang up on me. Is that good customer service? ABSOLUTELY NOT...Payments always have to be made on time and my payments have always been made on time so I'm not understanding why the rudeness.

    I am completely dissatisfied with the customer service I have experienced with Vector Security over the past month. I have been a customer of Vector Security for 4 years now. I have had service through your company in two homes. When I moved from my residence in Lexington, KY, I transferred my service to my new residence in Upton, KY. When I transferred that service, I was not informed that the transfer is an initiation of a new contract, starting over my years of service. I specifically asked if it was just a transfer of service, and your customer service representative was not clear with me that it is a new contract. I didn’t discover this until way after the fact, upon contacting customer service again and speaking with Charlene ** regarding my next move of residence; she informed me that the contract starts over, even with just a transfer of service.

    I have lived in my current home for 2 years, and my fiancé and I are moving to a home together. I called to cancel Vector Security on my current home due to the previous understanding that the 3 year contract would be up, and I found another company with which to secure my new home. I was then told that there was a buyout fee for my contract. I informed the worker on the phone, Celeste Green, that there should not be a contract. I stated that I have been with them for 4 years and wasn’t informed there was a new contract. She agreed and said she sees now the error and told me there wouldn’t be a contract cancellation fee. About a month later, I received my final invoice from Vector Security for $596. The fee was for canceling my contract a year early.

    I called Vector Security to speak with customer service regarding this, as this was not what I was previously told. I called that morning, and there was no answer in the billing department, so I left a voicemail. I called back later that morning because I had not received a phone call back and spoke with Charlene Bonano. I explained to Charlene that I wasn’t informed of this and when I called a month ago, I was informed there wouldn’t be a contract cancellation fee. Charlene was very rude and did not exhibit great customer service. I told her that I wasn’t informed it was a new contract when I transferred services… she said, “well, do you have that in writing?” in a condescending, rude tone. When I said no, because I spoke by phone. She said, “then, we can’t help you”. Are your calls not recorded for quality assurance purposes? Could you not listen to the call to see?

    Charlene forwarded me to the manager’s voicemail, whom never return my phone call. I emailed Celeste Green asking her about the information she informed me about a month ago regarding the fact that I wouldn’t have a contract cancellation fee. I did not receive any response. I have reached out to HR and left a voicemail with no response. I finally spoke with Celeste via phone today 4/16. I asked her about the email I sent, to which she acknowledged receiving it and apologized for telling me incorrectly. She acknowledged speaking with billing after I spoke with billing, but didn’t bother to email me back telling me she made a mistake. I am not pleased with the service I have received. I have been a loyal customer for 4 years, paid timely each month.

    I’ve had to reach out a couple of times because my motion sensors do not even work half of the time. I have armed my house to “leave” and when testing it out, they didn’t detect me walking through my home. I’ve called customer service and was told the sensors are fine; however, they were not in correct operating order. I let the issue go because I wasn't getting anywhere. At this point, I think the least you can do is honor what I was told by your customer service representative. Because I've had service through your company for 4 years, was never told that my contract would restart, and because your customer service representative advised that there would be no fees, I went ahead and started service at my new residence with a new company. I should not have to pay an early cancellation fee. Please contact me so that these issues can be resolved.

The reason we are canceling Vector services is due to the fact that since 2014 we being your customers, although six (6) months ago the windows were replaced and oversight of the installers one sensor was not removed. The next day a call from Vector notification of an alarm system. A technician came and reset the panel. I talked to you about two managers to see if the sensor could be replaced, they said yes at the charge of $95.00. We tried to reason with managers that is this way your company treat faithful customers? We should it canceled your services immediately. This is the reason of the cancelation of service.

    We switched from ADT to Vector in the early 1990s because ADT did not know where we lived. When we moved from Pittsburgh to Franklin, PA, we stayed with Vector and have been mostly happy, although the voice prompts at the beginning of a call are very annoying and possibly dangerous because people call in emergencies, not not just billing or technical situations. The service has been excellent, but I have to say that Kelly ** is absolutely AMAZING!!! He is smart, dedicated, and respectful and has gone above and beyond my, or Vector's expectations. He has even been resetting my controller (or system) when not at work, including the weekends. It is obvious that he has been investigating possible solutions to the issues here even during the interim between service calls. Vector is truly lucky to have him!!!

    We purchased our brand new home and Addie, a Vector Security representative was constantly coming to our home with a sales pitch. We told her we were military and that we may not be here for more than a year. Addie pride Vector Security on canceling contracts as long as we have orders. Well, we have orders and they refuse to honor it, unless we sell our brand new home. Which we were not told. I spoke to a few more representatives last week and they confirmed that Addie is known for telling lies to gain business.

    Also, Steve ** at ext. ** refuses to return phone calls. I’m not done, I asked Sherry, another representative, to send me the contract. We receive the contract and they pasted my husband’s signature on the document. We did not have this contract. Addie did not have this document, she had her product form, billing, and the length of the contract and my husband signed. The document sent to us are about 8 pages that we did not sign. Oh, and we contacted our local branch and they were no pleased with Vector and their policy and said they could help us. But they said they are unable to, Steve **. Must make the decision. But Steve ** refuses to answer or return phone calls.

    Install went good, installers were here on time when they said they would be. Always cleaned up after themselves. Camera install had an issue as we changed the way we wanted it set up. Just had to get extra parts in order to hook up two additional screens. Everything works fine now.

    My parents have been signed up for a while and recently had some of the systems updated. My mom recently passed away and my elderly father has had to contend with everything from an alarm that beeps for reasons unknown to him to a smoke alarm that is going dead and he is unable to replace. You can't just change the battery in one of these smoke detectors. And he can never reach anybody on the phone for help, after multiple attempts. The advice he was given about the smoke detector was to wrap it in a bowl and hide it. Seriously. And he would have to wait 2 weeks for a service call. Without a working smoke detector upstairs! And all this isn't cheap. If you can't provide service to the elderly you shouldn't sell them a system! This one has terrorized my parents.

    I chose Vector Security because they are known for being one of the top companies in the world. This was a new installation for me, it was an amazing experience. My representative John was so awesome, very professional, prompt, courteous, patient and very understanding. He took the extra time to sit down with me to explain the system so that I understood it well before leaving. The cost of the security system was very reasonable vs the other security system (ADT) that I have had for over 4 plus years.

    I left ADT due to the cost, once I tried to cancel then they wanted to lower the cost. I said no because I felt like that they should have reached out to me sooner since I had been with them for so long. I felt like I had been cheated all of these years and did not want to be a part of a dishonest company that would overcharge their customers. I am happy to have found Vector Security.     Vector Security had been in this home for may years. It was originally a hardwired and wireless system until we upgraded today. After the installer Josh had installed a new system at a nearby home he came over to our home to upgrade the alarm. We weren't able to get a doorbell camera due to our internet speed but maybe when the internet in the area gets better. Other than that the system is good to go.
