Have had Vector Security for many years. Very satisfied with installation. Curtis was very knowledgeable and informative. He was very efficient. I would refer this company. Curtis explained the new system very well. He was actually a little early and that was great.

I initially rated the update as a five. Unfortunately, we had to have service/install back 4 times to finally replace a bad circuit board and secondary panel that was installed incorrectly. Although the service techs were extremely polite, we were inconvenienced by having to have 4 service calls to finally get the system fully functional over one month. I contacted our salesman, who only referred me to the service phone number offering no assistance. I asked to speak to a manager and have yet to get a call back. Beware that they are using a new tech that they have yet to master.

Quick installation. Everything went smooth. The screen is a nice upgrade. Curtis was professional and the sales process with Ryan was made very simple. We used this at our church as well and hope it is a good here. Nice Nice Nice.

The service technician Bill was extremely professional, courteous, pleasant and very thorough. He changed all of the necessary batteries and made sure everything was working properly. Bill was totally non-disruptive. So far we've been satisfied with our service with VS and would highly recommend this company to anyone. We've been in this house for nearly 25 years which had Security Associates as its alarm co which was then acquired/merged with VS. We went thru lots of hiccups and lots of service appointments with Jerry when we upgraded our system which was very frustrating but once the system was straightened out all as been good; we hope it continues this way. Thank you! Everyone I've interacted with at your company has been very nice, knowledgeable and professional and I appreciate that.

Have been using Vector for decades and always been happy with the innovative features that they’ve added during that time. Bob is an expert if I have any need for a service call. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional and pleasant. He loves teaching me about my system. I would recommend Vector.

Safety Reason… doorbell cam did not work. The technician was very thorough and fixed the issue. He also checked all the ports to make sure they were working properly as well as update the system. Great experience with Vector this far.

David ** did an awesome on my unit. May have him install new camera soon. He explained everything in detail. I would suggest you to a friend for sure. He explained the 5g system and that the 3g will stop pretty soon.

HOA decision. For many years excellent service. Past year terrible. Failure to answer phones and failure to respond. Incorrect notifications of alarm. Prior to last few months, their response was immediate and timely. We wondered if Vector had changed monitoring company.

Jeff ( I think that was his name) did an excellent job on the installation and instructions on how to use the new system. He was polite, friendly and very helpful. I could not have ask for any better service. Also Matt ** has been extremely helpful in getting things set up.

Waited on hold for customer service for 52 minutes before hanging up. Had two service visits cancelled and have been a customer for 20 years. Email contact info on message is wrong. Cannot reach anyone with a problem need to have work done to replace a door alarm. Will cancel service if I do not hear back.

We've had Vector for 26 years. Service was fine. The only reason we're cancelling is that our old system has failed and we have concluded that it is more trouble than it is worth (false alarms, etc over the years). We've decided to not replace it and thus don't need the service anymore. If we change our mind and again want service, Vector is our first choice. Thanks.

Your tech staff is second to none. Very professional at what they do. Really enjoyed speaking with Clifton. Hello I am a relocate. I have been with Vector before. I like the services. Never any problems. The people are helpful. Your technician very polite and professional. He took the time. Explained everything to me about the keypad because I never had this one. Very happy to still be a customer of Vector Security.

I chose them 16 years ago when I moved to this house. Your service manager Kevin was fabulous! He made sure that I got prompt service and then checked to make sure it was satisfactory. The service man, John, was also terrific. He explained everything he was doing for me and was quick and efficient and friendly. I only wish all companies provide this quality caliber of service.

This technician has been out to help us a few times and he’s always punctual, helpful and just so nice. Really grateful that he came to fix the issues we were having as he was aware of the system and could identify issues quickly.

Awesome customer service/updated system by Curtis. He was great! He explained everything in great detail. Learned so much in the process. I always have a relationship with my sales person Simon and I know each other for a long time all of my accounts were done by him and my family treats him as family but the Impressive event today for second to none your technician went beyond and above all he can do to get my installation completed. I didn’t realize my Internet was out of service until he contacted me on the phone. I was in Raleigh Durham and butterfly by reached Wilson the technician was getting ready to leave but I told him that I would really like to have it done so he stuck around and wait until my Internet is fixed and then stuck around even longer to help me link all of my accounts with Alarm.com which their services a second to none as well. I had an average experience with Vector Security. I was under the impression that we were getting touch screen keypads, but they installed push button keypads. When I inquired about this to our salesperson, he was short and defensive. I was not present on the day the cameras were installed and have been trying to get someone to return to show me how to set up the app on my phone. I will likely not recommend Vector in the future.

We have been protected by Vector Security for many years. Recently, we disconnected our landline which cancelled our monitoring. We decided to update our system to continue uninterrupted service. Curtis is our installer. I can honestly say that I have never been more satisfied than now. He installed the new system and explained it to us. We are very please with the new system and the professional and courteous service we have received. I would absolutely recommend Vector Security and Curtis for all security needs!!

I was referred to Vector Security from my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. I was looking for security after I lost my first husband and the service has been great. I am pleased with the service and I do not anticipate any changes or being dissatisfied with them.

I chose Vector because when I was researching, Vinh **, my local contact, took the time to answer all of my questions without trying to make me pay fees even before signing a contract (yes that happened with a competitor). He is extremely professional as was every technician I interacted with both in person and by phone. Because I am moving to a state that Vector does not serve, I cannot bring my contract with me and will have to find a new security company. This is the only time I have been disappointed by them! Maybe they will take a hint and expand their service area.

I no longer need the services because all the time they were of very poor quality apart from the staff all the time it is very rude and they never solved the problem that the service did not work in its entirety.

I have had Vector services for about thirty two years. The service has been excellent along with our emergency services in the area. Curtis was excellent as well as Frank the salesman. Vector has always been very patient when the alarm has gone off by user error. Thank you so much.

Ethan was great!! Very nice guy to work with. He helped me out a lot. I needed help learning how to add users to our system and manage the app on my phone. He also helped us pick out locations for 5 new cameras we need to live viewing on our phones as well.

We are existing Vector customers. This was for an upgrade to 5G. Technician was fantastic. The installation went perfectly. The only hitch was that there is no instruction manual. This is a complex system and there's no way we can remember all of the technician's instructions going forward. Unfortunately, going forward it'll have to be trial and error.

We have had Vector Security for over 25 years. Vector's customer service has always been courteous and professional. The technician today was on time. He was able to fix the problem and make the beeping stop. I would recommend Vector to all my friends.

We were thrilled with both Ben and Kevin! Ben worked with us to design our system to meet our needs. Kevin detailed every aspect of our installation prior to installing anything. He was concerned about how detectors would look in our new house and helped us to choose placement that we were happy with. He was personable and efficient. He interfaced professionally with the other contractors, which was really helpful. He spent a great deal of time going over set up and using the apps. We are much happier than with prior systems that we have had!

Ongoing Customer. Vector is my Home Security System provider. They informed me that my system needed an upgrade in order to continue to operate properly. I took them at their word. The Company sent the Contract Information via email for me to review. I was a little taken back that Vectors is liable for very little, only 1000 even in situations resulting in loss of life - Disturbing!

Vector has been the company providing security monitoring and repair for many years and has always been very responsive and efficient. Anthony, the Vector Securit technician that did the work on my home has been very helpful, and knowledgeable on replacing my window sensors before and after my windows were replaced. Anthony also took the time to explain what he had done and how it would work.

My minimal contact with Vector is to add agents. As soon as I add another agent to our roster, and send the email with the passcode, I get a response within about 2 hours letting me know our system has been updated with the new information.

Vector Security installed our system. The technician, Kevin, was quick with adding all of the equipment and made installation easy. All of the safety features are in place. Kevin showed up on time and worked hard all day. He modified the contacts so that they blended into the colors that looked best aesthetically.

We have Michael ** at our home today. He was out to service a couple of our doors and windows. He explained himself to us and walked us through how he would solve the problem. He was efficient and very polite. We are very happy.

Bob was a great technician. He arrived just as I talked to the office wondering where he was. He was able to tell me what was the issue and where the device was with the low battery. He was able to fix that quickly and I also had a problem with a keypad because I couldn't see and was lucky he had a replacement for me. He got everything fixed and helped me with the app on my phone. Very appreciative of the service that was provided by Bob. Found him to be most helpful.

Dee Dee sent me the papers fast and was very understanding that we left our originals in Florida. I really like the Vector Security system and also being able to view my cameras from anywhere. Most all of our neighbors have Vector also.

Technician showed up on time. Completed work in a timely manner. Was able to replace key fob and repair a window sensor. He explained everything that that he needed to do to upgrade our system. Made sure that everything was working properly.

Justin was here to upgrade my cell unit. I felt bad because He was in the attic on a very hot day to do the upgrade. When I said that to him he replied “it’s all part of my job“ and that he was there to make sure my system is working correctly to keep us safe. He was so very friendly and we chatted about dogs, I have 2 dogs and he was kind to pet them, he was on the ground playing with them and giving her belly scratches (her favorite). I would definitely request him for any future appointments (so would my dogs).

We had false alarms on our motion detector while we were on vacation. Service technician Justin H came and evaluated the position and determined that the motion was installed pointed at a window and suggested that we relocate the motion sensor to rule out that being the cause of alarm and He also replaced the part in case it was bad and then replaced all of our batteries. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommended Justin for your technician.

This was basically a maintenance and refresher service call. Everything went smoothly. The technician was very polite. Although he did not have the battery we needed for our panel, he agreed to come back later in the day to replace it.

I have been using Vector Security for 20+ years and have always received great service. Recently, I dropped my remote key fob and needed to have it replaced. After setting up my appointed, the technician came out to program and replace it. His name was Rigel. From the moment he met me at the door, his warm friendly greeting made me feel comfortable to welcome him into my home. He was knowledgeable and quick to get the new key fob programmed to my current alarm system. He made sure to explain what he did and explained the functions of the new fob. He was very concerned to make sure I was completely satisfied. From the beginning until he walked out the door, he was a pleasure to deal with. Vector Security should be very proud to have Rigel representing their company. A job well done! A++++

I received a letter saying I was past due $119.00 for something other than my monthly payment which is on auto charge to my checking account. The charge was for upgrading something in to controller box because my door lock kept giving the notice the battery was low. I changed the batteries twice but still got the low battery message which led to the replacement parts. Loretta ** Was excellent on the call. She quickly understood the issue and made adjustments to my account and satisfaction. She was very professional, polite, knowledgeable and in my opinion used good judgment in solving my issue. I continue to be a happy and satisfied customer. Thank you Loretta.

Kevin was fantastic to work with. He was prompt showing up 10 minutes before his 11:00 am scheduled appointment, professional answering all our questions, explaining the new cameras and the web page on recording rules, and completed all necessary tasks within the scope exceeding our expectations!

Somebody broke glass & enters in my store, stole beer & some money but Vector's security alarm didn’t work. When I came in morning to open my store, I saw glass was broken & everything was messed up in my store. I saw security systems was active but didn’t work. Highly recommend don’t buy it for your store.

Awful service. The ring doorbell hardly ever works. Will pick up the movement from the sun shining but won’t pick up the movement of an actual person. Takes forever to load the doorbell camera. Alarm goes off randomly. Horrible customer service. Gonna have to pay the rest of the contract just to get out of this ** contract. Will NEVER use Vector again and I’ll never recommend this to people I know. I’d be doing them a disservice to recommend an awful service.

Emergency service is non-existent. Been a customer for probably 15 years and first time I need help on a weekend and it takes over 30 minutes to get to a real person and they are just an answering service. Not acceptable.

My friend recommended them. They've had service with Vector for over 17 year. We needed to get some security for our home and we had no experience as this was our first time getting a security service so we decided to go with Vector. We looked into a few but Vector was the only one that got back to us.

I usually never write a review, but I wanted to take a minute to tell you about my experience today. I requested a call before arrival, and Bob called and introduced himself with an approximate arrival time. When he arrived, he took the time to explain what the issues may be and how it will be addressed. On one of the HOTEST DAYS, he had to get on a ladder and reprogram my cameras. He never once complained, kept a very nice disposition, and well spoken at all times. Vector is the system contracted in our condo neighborhood so we didn't choose. Our technician is Jay ** and he is awesome. Very polite and knowledgeable. Our system appeared off and evidently needed battery change. He diagnosed the issue and updated it within 15 mins. Every experience we've had with Vector has been excellent thanks to Jay and his service.

I called Vector two weeks ago for a service call, was told the earliest appointment available was July 11. I called back asking for earlier service to which I was told they would initiate a call to come out sooner. No one ever called back. And when I try to call now, no one answers any of the prompts. (Dial one for service, etc). The fact is, even on our scheduled appointment, no one showed up. We are paying for a service, but there is no security happening. No one has called back. We are very dissatisfied and want to cancel and receive credit for our annual payment we made in April. We will seek another company with a better reputation and service.

Awesome service and excellent installation. Curtis was able to figure out where the best place for the system should be installed even with our crazy salon set. And on top of the great installation. They were actually able to get everything installed a day early!

The installation was fantastic. I really appreciated the detailed review of my order prior to any installation starting. This way, we were able to double check everything and then ensure we were all on the same page. The equipment and software is extremely user friendly but I appreciated the training and walk through at the end. I look forward to adding additional equipment and services to my account.

I was alerted by Vector that there was an issue with my system connecting to the cell tower. I got this message late day, I believe it was June 26. The assistant I talked to that evening was in PA and could not fix the condition. She said she wrote a trouble report and Vector would call me. I did not get a call so I called the monitoring center. They couldn't help me - it was after hours on June 28 - so they told me to call Tech Support Service. After being on hold a very long time Mr. ** responded.

Nick was Awesome!!! Nick installed my Barbershop last year and done a phenomenal job! And Nick didn’t disappoint with my home! Nick was professional, customer service oriented, and very clean work as usual. Nick explained his work order and how he was gonna install everything. Overall, very pleased with Nick and Vector Security!

Chris ** with the Geneva Ohio branch did an excellent job installing my system. He also was able to change my door lock code. We gave up because it wasn’t working before he left, but I tried it after he left and the new code locked and unlocked the door.

Every single Vector Rep who has ever called to check on us after we aging ones have set off a false alarm, when we call to ask a question, to let them know that we’re testing our system switches, or to set up a phone chain while we’re away has always been so professional, so helpful and so appreciative of our business - and for the entire 18 years with Vector. That attitude must come down from the top, from people like Beth **, who helped us transfer our Vector Security service to the new owner of our home, and she did this so warmly and extremely efficiently!

My husband had good conversation with Simon and he told us that the technician was a good guy. I did thank the technician for being respectful to our home. He wore shoe covers and placed a mat on the floor. Very professional and I appreciated a lot.

Kevin was five stars all the way through this project. He responded to my text or calls immediately as we were waiting for some of the parts to come in so we could finish the job. He is very efficient and informative. As he worked through the job he explained what the next step was and the time frame it would take. Kevin help me with the app and explained the keypad.

On July 8 my installation tech Curtis was great. He answered all my questions and was very professional. I would definitely recommend Curtis and this company to someone. Curtis arrived at my home around 9am and took a inspection of my home before he got started and gave me great recommendations. I am very pleased with my service.

Nick installed an alarm system for my neighbor couple weeks ago and because of a good job he done, my neighbor referred me to Vector Security. Nick done a very good job with installing all alarm equipment and my cameras. He was polite and professional. Nick answered any and all questions I had and overall was fantastic!

I have concerns that I have not heard from anyone from the call center since I began this service a month ago and my alarm has gone off serveral times. I've tried to contact someone but VECTOR appears not to have a call center. I had to search for a contact number online and send them a message to call me!!! WTH!! The siren is way too low and is no louder than my smoke detector, so my neighbors can't hear it. Also, because it's wireless, the equipment may not perform as well. I've always heard to go with your local security companies/power company for security services. I can certainly tell the difference. The contract is three years long, with a lot of waivers, give up rights, indemnify, hold harmless and agree to use arbitration clauses. Ask a lot of questions. Also, the installer did not have proper equipment to install cameras (no drill bit or ladder). Therefore, my cameras are not where I want them and were installed at arm's length high.

Vector Security is our alarm system provider. They answered the service call promptly and came during the scheduled timeframe. The technician knew exactly what the problem was. He was very friendly, courteous and professional. Everything was installed in no time. I highly recommend Vector Security.

When monitoring called us to tell us that one of our doors was open we asked that the police be contacted. We were never told that we had to register the system so the police would not come to my house. Luckily I was not robbed.

Nick called me that he was on the way when around 30min out. He showed up when expected, went over the scope of the installation, and we talked about where to place the outside camera. Nick offered suggestions and clear explanation of the installation process. He also recommended a wifi extender for optimal performance of our outside camera. Nick was very professional and neat/tidy with the install, and you can tell he takes pride in his work. After the install was complete, he went through all of the features of the system and made sure all of our questions were answered and we were comfortable. I would highly recommend Nick as an installer.

My alarm would not take the code to shut off. Vector contacted me. I told them the problem and was given the number to contact technical problems; they were closed. The siren is blaring all over my home. I called the number 3 times and got VM each time and the line disconnected. Vector called once again, I informed them that I was unable to leave a message. Well I was told there was nothing else she could do. So what was I to do? Listen to a blaring alarm all night. I had to leave my home and stay the night somewhere else so that I could go to work the next morning. Thanks Vector for absolutely nothing. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy.

I've had my service with Vector Security for the past 12 to 13 years. I switched from another alarm company and the system has been almost trouble free. I did have one problem with the system and the staff provided excellent service and the technician fixed the problems efficiently.

They couldn't fix alarm last two years. We called for annual inspection last two years. Vector Security came after deadline only (This is for last 2 years.). I am very discouraged by their action. I called several time. No one return the calls.

I need work on my highland co VA address. No one will answer phones. I cannot get any Richmond office and message box is full. I spent an hour and I’m done. I have cancelled my payments. My system is not communicating with yours and I will not pay to upgrade to 5 g mainly because your service is HORRIBLE

I reached out to Mike O because we needed a small amount of work that needed to be done. He was nice enough to come out the next day. He got the work done nicely and quickly for us. I am very happy with the service he has provided.

Worst customer service ever. I was scheduled for a tech visit between 10-12 today. No calls, no text. Like I am not busy but wasted 2 hrs waiting and still waiting. I will search for a new company to service my alarm needs.

Been trying since last year to get a simple taste done for shop system, and been trying since April to get cameras at home fixed…. Before you sign up, his think…. 3 years contract is a LONG time to pay for something that will stop working and stay not working… but lord don’t let you “forget” to pay them… Horrible.
