Shout out to, Erickson Electric, The Best!! This company is own by Joseph Erickson. This gentleman communicates very well is very polite, friendly, honest, and very fair with his prices. He has many years of experience under his belt. I have hired him the past to him to do small jobs at my house with no issues whatsoever. Then I offered him a big job, which consisted him rewiring a house and upgrading the electrical. He proved himself. Joe is the best, he enjoys what he does and pays attention to detail and works well with others. He disconnected the electric panel, solar and removed all the old wires. Safety is priority for him. If you need any kind of electrical work done, don’t hesitate to call him. Joe is the man for the job.

A request for a piano tuner was very quickly answered by Miguel McKenzie of McKenzie Piano Tuning. My initial questions were answered on the phone, and an appointment was made Miguel was prompt, professional and friendly. I peppered him with questions about the piano itself and the process of tuning it. He patiently answered and is obviously conscientious and thoroughly knowledgeable about his craft. Additionally, I felt perfectly comfortable leaving him alone in the house. A totally positive experience.

Needed real estate photos for a new listing and checked Thumbtack and found "Frame and Fable Photo LLC." Within minute received a response from Tim the owner. Answered a few questions and he quoted me a workable fee and scheduled him all within 24 hours. The photos were excellent, more than needed and all well taken. I'd certainly use Tim once again when needed.

I was in need of someone trustworthy to clean a relative's apartment that is located 2 hours away from where I live (and within a private home). I've never used an app to find a professional before and I was super nervous about filling out the request form. Once I did, I got an immediate response from Delma from Souza Cleanings. She couldn't have been more wonderful! She was willing to start the job as soon as I was ready, she took her own time to go and look at the space prior to the quote, and let me tell you.. This was not an easy job. I'm still amazed by how she managed to get the entire job done in one day and it was beyond perfect! She even folded the towels in a decorative pattern! I can't recommend Delma highly enough. I plan to share her contact information with relatives who live in the area. Thank you Thumbtack for helping to put me in touch with this lovely woman!

I hired Mike the handyman through Thumbtack and was not disappointed. Mike said he would be at my house at 10am was there by at 10am. My project was a two day process and he was extremely professional, answered all my silly questions and his work was exceptional. I'm so pleased from beginning to the end of my project- He quote one price and charge me a lesser amount. I wanted to upload a before and after pic. Website only allowed one pic. I recommend Mike the handyman for your next project.

ZERO star not 1, they scammed me for the second time, now this time they just messed my account, they have no customer service to talk to, they never respond back. They blocked my account and kept my money. 10 years ago, they were ok.

Hired a service through Thumbtack to do floor work. Unfortunately, the next morning my floor was wet and a cabinet was damaged because they pulled the fridge line loose. I presented evidence of this to Thumbtac k- including photos from the insurance company including moisture readings prior to the work being done and the appliance repair company noting that the fridge and fridge line were fine, but were dislodged manually. All of this was presented to Thumbtack and I even offered to put them in direct contact with third parties so they would not think this was my interpretation. The vendor merely stated "I did do it" and they sided with the vendor. Avoid hiring through Thumbtack or you take on risks of any issues with providers.

Got a name for a contracting job - I spoke to him on the phone and made appointment for the next day - never showed. I txt him at the number provided and was given an appointment for 2 days later - no showed again. Unable to reach anyone to help me with this. Won't use this platform (I'll use Angie) and CERTAINLY won't use Brian Tate as a contractor.

This company is a greedy blood sucking company. They tell the customer to shop around for prices on their platform yet they expect the company/contractor to not be upset when we have a 1 out of 5 chance of winning the customer. The appliance customers never answer the phone, I am convinced that they are generating fake leads on that. I have had several account managers and all they try to get me to do is spend more money. And the worst part is as soon as the lead comes in you have to call them immediately, I mean even after 1 minutes your chances becomes super slim, I mean the complete absolute worst.

Very inconsiderate ‘pro’ responses. Thumbtack doesn’t need this type of behavior/attitude on their site. Reflects badly for potential customers, like myself. He was a NO show, and NO call for new confirmed appointment on 2-17-2026. His responses to me: “I don't care about reviews that don't reflect my work... I never did work for you.” “Hundreds of satisfied clients, I won’t miss you.”
