My husband had seen SunSetter on Ripley and he stopped there to see what they were like. The gentleman was so nice and came right out the next day. He got the awning put in when he said he would. They had to order it. At first, we didn't realize it was going to cost so much. But it didn't matter. We made the decision and we haven't regretted it.

The sales lady that I dealt with in the beginning was a nightmare but it all worked out. I got a motorized SunSetter awning and the quality is very good. The installation crew was wonderful. I recommended SunSetter to someone else and will tell anyone about the company. Keep up the good work. From buying this house and all the money we spent, the awning was the only money I justify.

I called SunSetter, got some information, and set up the appointment for the guys to come out. Then they measured everything and it worked out great. I liked their company's name and their power awning. I also like the guarantees that were involved with it. The sales guy was very nice, professional, and personable. He offered and talked to me about the many different options and we took time to find the colors that I wanted. He did what he needed to do and was gone within a reasonable length of time. I got a little bit of tan and navy in my awning. I found the right colors through the swatches that he had and he took the time to hold them up against the gray brick of my house and helped me make a good decision.

I liked the quality and some features of SunSetter and so I got the motorized this time. I just keep it open all the time, but if there are high winds, it automatically closes itself. I love sitting outside, but I don't love the sun hitting down on me, so it's just nice to have the patio covered.

We got a 17-foot tan awning from SunSetter and the installation was great. They were able to show me everything and so far, I like it.

We were there when the installers started. They had to come back and finish. One of the guys came back the next day. We were there and went over how the awning worked. He was very good.

It went really well with SunSetter Awnings. The installers were here when they said they were going to be here and did a very fine job installing. They had it done in a really short period of time. There were two of them, and they knew what they were doing. We've been very happy with the awning ever since.

We love the awning. We use it for sun protection and for the birds flying over. It encloses our little area.

We've had a SunSetter for a couple of years and everything is hunky-dory. We had a difficult time with the recent installation. It was the wind sensor. The people who did it came the next day when I called them, and they fixed it. Everything is working terrific. We love it.

I've had SunSetter before and I bought from them again when I bought a new house. I got the motorized 20 foot awning and everything's been good. But they made a mistake installing it, so we're trying to get that fixed and I'm still waiting for a phone call back from the owner of the company out here.

SunSetter's reps were pleasant and they got me in touch with the gentleman who put the awning up. They made sure to get him my information, and then he contacted me in a timely manner. I ordered it in June. He put it up on the 17th of August. When he came to see me to let me look at the brochure, talk to me and do the measurements, I was flipping through the book and I said I wanted something that would pop because it would bring out the fact that the side of the house is light-colored. So, I got the emerald. It has the white and the thin white, thin green, and a thin beige.

SunSetter's sales rep who came to the house was fine but we got a little confused towards the end while we were waiting for our awning to come in. At one point, the day that we were supposed to get the arrival, they said we didn't have an order and we were not on their records. So, we got a telephone number for the representative and he was having medical concerns, but he had the owner get back to us and we were told that we had an order and it was going to be delivered the following day. Then, we had the delivery the next day. The installers were awesome and they came immediately at the time they said they were going to come. They did it in an hour. We got the motorized awning and I like it. But I didn't notice it when they first showed us that when you press the remote, it makes a large click sound like it's lifting and the fixture is releasing itself. So, it scared us a little bit, but we're used to it now.

I like the awning. It's all motorized and I use it every day.

Respectful young men came by and put in our awning. It looks good and we appreciate all that. The only thing was there was an advertisement that said I would receive a cup. I called four times about it and was told different things. The first rep didn't seem to know too much about it but would put it on. On the second call, I was told the cup was on its way. That was two weeks after I made the appointment and paid money. On the next call, I was told it was in the mail. I called this week again and was told to call the company. That aside, SunSetter is very helpful and understanding. I enjoyed talking to the people. I like everything about the awning because it's shady. It's much cleaner. I would recommend it to people. I'm trying to talk my grandson into it.

The rep told me they were going to put the awning on the patio enclosure. But when the installers came, they had to put it the other way. So the rep should have been a little more knowledgeable about that. Also, I am still waiting for them to get me the windshield, which they were supposed to get in the beginning. I also ordered a side panel that I don't have yet. But I like the awning. The installation went all right after much to do about it going the wrong direction.

I called SunSetter and had a sales rep come out. The sales rep wasn't pushy and he answered all of my questions. He also talked to my husband on the phone a couple of times and my husband felt good about him. Then, the installers came out and they were quick, friendly, and did a nice job cleaning up.

We’re enjoying the SunSetter awning and it lives up to everything that we thought it was gonna be. The awning fits the entire dimension of the top level of our deck and it had the drop-down curtain, which keeps us in the shade if we want to be on it no matter what time of day it is. We talked with the installer about different things and he came out and looked at it before. He was highly recommended and we went with him. He had a little bit of a discount on it and he came and installed it.

I like the idea that the awning is remote and that it’s electric, the way it comes out. I also like the color and the installation, that they put it on the roof.

So far, our SunSetter awning is pretty good. I got shade when I want it. I can roll it out and have some back in the house if I want to. I sit out here on the deck and not burn up. The installers like were very businesslike. They did a fine job. SunSetter's price is pretty decent. It’s a lot less than trying to build one at the house. Quality seems to be good. I have some lights hanging off the end of it that I'm still waiting on. The guy that sold it to me from Shade for Less said he’d get a man and put them on. I hadn’t seen him yet, but it’s only been about a week since he had come in and got paid for it.

The SunSetter rep that came out was knowledgeable and professional. Both of the guys that installed it were excellent. They did a good job. ​The awning works fine.

The people who installed my SunSetter did a nice job. So far, so good. Come and look at my awning and see if you like it.

We had a big wooden umbrella for several years and we liked it so well, but we couldn't find anything else along that line that we liked. So, we bit the bullet and bought a SunSetter. We're very pleased with it. It's very good quality.

The SunSetter representative that came out and talked to us was very good. The product we got wasn't wide enough, and they worked with us. We got another one, and that one's working fine. Installation was fine. The guys were fast and efficient. We like the product's quality. We're enjoying our SunSetter.

We're happy with our SunSetter awning. We liked the gentleman who came out and talked to us about it and then set us up with it. So far, the quality is so good. We need to operate it more. We need to get through, not only the end of the summer, but I want to get through it being retracted. In the winter, we get a little snow. So, those are the things that I'm looking for as a former contractor myself.

Our SunSetter awning is serving its purpose. Eric was the one that installed and he was excellent from start to finish. He said what he was going to say, did what he was supposed to do and was very cordial. He said the installation was gonna be at the end of August, and he got it done last week. So, we're thrilled. He was ahead of schedule and got us done. The quality looks fantastic. We're really pleased with the color, too.

There were two gentlemen who came out both times to visit and then to install and they were very nice and knowledgeable. When they came out to install, they went above and beyond to finesse this particular installation. I was happy with how it came out. I haven't been able to use the awning as much as I'd like to, but I love. We're enjoying it.

The installer was a good guy, and my friends like our SunSetter.

We just moved into the house and we knew the deck was gonna be hot. We got an awning from SunSetter to cover that. We really like it. They were out of the color we originally ordered. I wouldn't have picked this color normally, but we needed one. I got the package that came with it and I don't like the lights. I feel like I should be selling ice cream out there but it's all right. I'm gonna get rid of them. They're too big and ugly for me. But the color matches the house fine and it's okay.

The SunSetter awnings have been wonderful. Stark Glass Block put them in. The quality is great.

We liked the fabric and the people that installed the awning for us gave us a lot of good tips. They were fantastic and right on the ball. We weren't too sure about the quality but wow, it's absolutely amazing. We were really surprised and I’m a very happy customer. I'd asked people to look into SunSetter because it is exactly what I see on TV. They just need to see it, and if they want to, they could come and see mine.

We've had a SunSetter in a different location of the house for at least 12 years, and we love it. It works well, it's nice looking, and to me, it's very well made. I cover it every winter and it's fine. We just bought another awning six weeks ago. We have a outdoor furniture, and we use it for shade and for different little get-togethers and parties. The person we dealt with when we bought it was very nice and good. I even remarked how knowledgeable she was in our product, which is rare. Helped me an awful lot.

The SunSetter team moved in, put the awning up, did their job in record time, and was out of here after they gave me instructions. It all went well. I leave my awning open about 3 1/2 feet all the time. It gives it kind of a porch effect, and I like that. I'm just anxious to see if it has any effect on the security of the awning or not, or if the colors would fade. I did not have a problem with SunSetter and I appreciated that. It was a good experience. When you're making a move and doing changes, they're not all good experiences. So, it was nice to have something that I didn't have a problem with.

When we bought the house originally, there was one of those hand-cranked awnings that you put on. I’m going to be retiring here in a few weeks. I still have strength but at the same time, it was too much of a hassle. The guy down the street had one that was remote- controlled and we liked it. We got one from SunSetter. The sales team and installation crew were really good. I like our SunSetter awning. I was not impressed with the old hand-crank one.

We have a SunSetter in our home, and I purchased one for my parents. It was a logical step thing to go with SunSetter because we are happy with it in their home. The installers came out and measured everything when they came. They said it would be approximately 50 days. It was less than 30 that they came back and there was no problem with the install. We're a little worried because it was a roof mounted install, but they were wonderful. Everything is good. My parents love the awning. They're not sitting directly in sun. We also bought them the drop-down shade that they absolutely love. They enjoy their front patio now.

I've had SunSetter years ago when I was in Connecticut. I got one again. The rep I worked with was very nice. The installer showed me what to do.

We have western exposure on our patio and we needed some relief from that. We got an awning from SunSetter and I am very satisfied with its quality. Everything works fine.

The man that came over was the same man that installed the SunSetter Awning with his sons. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and got along well with my dog, which is a Great Dane. So, that was not easy. He seemed very nice and confident. The day they came to do the work, it was done in a good amount of time and done well, and nothing was left. I don't think they could have done better. There really doesn't seem to be anything I dislike about the awning.

I enjoy my SunSetter awning very much. I would have done a little bit different than taking the 12 foot out because it goes out beyond the deck 2 feet. So consequently, you can't sit out there. Other than that, it's good. That was our mistake when we were talking because we weren't listening. The sales rep was great. He tried to explain it to us. He was very nice about it. As far as the installers, I couldn’t ask for better people. They were excellent.

The SunSetter team did a very good job. Quick and got it up in no time at all. I like the awning. I just wish I had gotten it a little bit bigger. But I thought what I ordered was about right, but it wasn’t. It's a little smaller for what I needed, but it's fine. It keeps the sun from coming in the kitchen door and that makes a big difference. I'm perfectly happy with it.

The lady that sold me my SunSetter, Donna, was very informative. She came out, measured, and told me all the different ins and outs of it. She was very good, and I liked her. The awning took a while to be manufactured, but other than that, my experience was very good. There were four installers and they knew what they were doing. They got it up and running and made sure I understood it all before they left. They didn't leave a mess of any kind, which is always a plus. I like my awning. When you can't use your deck when it's a nice day, it makes you a little antsy. I have shade on my back deck now, which is wonderful.

We are very pleased with the SunSetter awning. It really does the job very well. It's located perfectly for the patio that we use. The rep told us what we should expect it to do and it does what he thought it would do.

I had a team from here in Beckley for the installation. They came in here at about 8 o'clock in the morning. I've got a 20-foot system and this big, long thing was laying on my front porch. They picked that thing up and brought it out here. At about 1 o'clock that afternoon, they handed me the papers and talked to me a little bit with it. The awning is doing well. I read a lot of the thing and I'm getting it better but I'm going to call one of SunSetter's people here pretty soon as I've got some questions.

The sales guy was nice. The problem is SunSetter doesn't seem to sell this product direct or, at least, they want you to just order it online. The biggest thing that was an irritation for me was that the pricing that's advertised is not available for the product. It's more like a get you in the door, and then you pay 30% more to buy it. I also haven't been able to get the device installed and I don't have an install date. The people are nice. I just can't to get in touch with them. They call me and leave messages and I call them back then I hear back from them a week later. I don't have time to call them every day. From my understanding, the device is in their warehouse and they're waiting to come over, install it and get paid on it. I know other people that have a SunSetter, and the product speaks for itself. It's great. You just got to be educated on the pricing and figure out who can sell it at the pricing that's advertised if anybody can.

A neighbor had a SunSetter awning and I bought my daughter one six years ago, and it worked out all right for them. My neighbor's had his for 30 years. My daughter has had hers about six years. And I needed it. It has been proven that it works. The rep came out and they didn't have the color I wanted in the five-year warranty, but they had it in the 10-year warranty. After I already signed the contract, he said, “No problem. We'll put that one up and it will be a 10-year warranty instead of the five.” I said, “Hey, fantastic. That's great.” The two guys who came installed the awning within an hour. It didn't take up my time, even though I'm just hanging around watching. But they said they would be here at a certain time, they were.

I bought an awning a couple years ago and I liked it then I bought another one. The reps knew what the they were doing, and I couldn't ask for anybody better.

The installers did a very nice job and were very professional. Everything was great.

I've seen other people that have SunSetter, and we liked them. They seemed like a good durable product. The rep we worked with treated us fairly, and we like our awning. It’s working fairly good. I have to call him back to readjust the remote. I have a little bit of an issue with it. I think it’s a programming issue.

I enjoy the SunSetter awning very much. It's great. Their reps were fine too. They showed up when they said they were going to and they installed them and it was easy as 123.

The experience with the SunSetter sales team was very good and simple. The installers were very nice and they explained everything to me. The awning is great and I use it almost every day if I can, when it’s not raining. But the awning is very sensitive to the wind. The wind isn't very strong and it's not like I'm getting a thunderstorm but the thing rolls back by itself. The second day that I used it after the installers left, it kept rolling back on me. I don't know whether there is a setting on it. It was not windy enough that it would roll an awning back. The only other thing is that if I had to roll it back mechanically, it would take me a good 10 minutes, especially if it was windy and it didn't roll back by itself or the electric went out on it.

The SunSetter rep that came out was very professional-acting, answered all of our questions and was polite. It was fantastic watching the installers work as well. They got down to it already, did what they had to do and left. Showed us how to use it. It's very simple to operate. I'm quite satisfied. Whenever the sun's out, we drop that thing down and sit out there. It’s about 15 degrees cooler. Very comfortable and my dog loves it too.

The SunSetter Awning works great. I love it. It gives even the inside of the house shade so that it makes it cooler inside. And I don't have to use my shade inside to keep the sun out. I still have my view and I can use it when the sun happens to come out here. The sales rep was very nice. He's a local company here, and I've been trying to do local. It's been a challenge during these times to order anything. But they were very upfront, and luckily, it came in in a timely manner, and they fit me in for installation. It worked out really well. The guys that came to install it did it great.

I've had a SunSetter awning for about 25 years. One time, the arm broke and they sent me a whole new thing, and it didn't cost me a nickel. The installers did a very good job. The sales rep was very good and very knowledgeable. SunSetter seems to do really good for me after all these years.

The two guys that put our SunSetter up were awesome and very helpful on how to work it. The installation experience was perfect too. Everything was like clockwork. I love it. It's all automatic. I just can't wait to use it, but it's too hot for me to be outside. But when it comes this fall, I'm gonna love every minute of it.

The people who installed my SunSetter awning said they would come at the beginning of August. They came in August and were here for four hours. They put the product up and made sure it worked. Then they came back to check it. They were excellent. I love the quality of the awning.

We really enjoy our SunSetter Awning. It's good and really keeps the sun out of the house. We like it. The installer was a nice guy and the kid that helped him was a great guy too. It didn't take them long to do it.

The rep was a terrific salesman. I wrote him the 50% deposit that he told me. I chose what I wanted but that's the last we've heard from them and it has been months. Now, I want to cancel, but I don't think I can. I wouldn't want anybody to make this mistake. Listen to the spiel but do not pay the deposit. This is over $6,000. This is not chump change.

The SunSetter team was excellent, except when I called them because I've been having a slight little problem with the electronics of the awning and I wanted them to come check out the adjustments. Sometimes, it doesn't come out and stay out. Sometimes it doesn't go in and stay in. It goes in, bumps, and pops back out again. I have to do it a couple times. It's $6,000 worth of awning that we're not going to play with it.

I had a very good experience with SunSetter. Installation was simple. Everything was quick and easy. The awning is beautiful. It is a nice product. The remote control, the LED lights, and the underneath, everything was perfect.

We've been wanting an awning for a year. My neighbors both have them on either side of us. We live in a condominium and SunSetter was a condominium HOA-approved company. They were great. They told me how long it would take and what they were going to do. They said two hours. But it was a little bit less than that. They were very courteous and awesome. The awning is amazing and it looks better than my neighbors.

I decided to get an awning because it is so hot on my deck that you can't even walk on it. My husband built one over the main part, but he didn't wanna build another one. So, I called different places. SunSetter was the only one that answered the phone. Everybody else didn't call back. So, I went with them. The rep came right out. He was honest. He told me exactly how much wind it could take and took the time to show me exactly how to work it. We had a storm the other day, and I knew how to bring it in real quick to make it come back in so that the storms didn't rip it. So, he really taught me how to use it. It's beautiful. It looks really nice and it adds a lot to my deck. I've had a lot of compliments on it.

The people from SunSetter Awnings were wonderful. The sales rep who came, Mike, was very good. Then the two guys who came to install were excellent. Everything was fine. They gave me the price that I expected to get. They installed them on the approximate date that they said they would be ready. When I called for an install date, it was very quick. I didn't have to wait a long time. They also cleaned everything up. I have the electric one, so that's really helpful. Then I have the shade over the window. So far, so good. Everything works great.

The SunSetter awning seemed to be a good product and they had a lot of colors. We could pick a color that would go well with our house. The sales rep was very knowledgeable. I got the impression that maybe he was kinda in a hurry but even with that, he answered all our questions, helped us measure and told us about where the awning would be placed. We were happy with him. The installation was wonderful. The men were here when they said they would be and put the awning in in no time at all. We got the kind that’s hooked up to the electricity so it's very convenient to open and close it. We've used it quite a bit and and we're happy with it. I would definitely recommend SunSetter.

The motor to my motorized awning stopped working. I made several calls for service. I was told by representative that company does not offer repair service. The representative said they would instruct me to fix the motor myself. I had to get on a ladder in order to be able to reach the problem area. While I was on the phone with rep I fell off of the ladder. I fractured my pelvis and arm. This accident was catastrophic…I was hospitalized for 2 weeks because of complications from the break I almost died. For two months I was not able to walk. Sunsetter Awnings is a terrible company who doesn’t care about their customers. Sunsetter Awnings does not take responsibility to service their product, therefore, putting consumers at risk to a catastrophic accident.

The guy who put up the awning was great. He told me when he was coming and if I could be there when he was there. He kept in touch and worked with me. He was also very thorough. Everything I ordered got here and everything he put in looks nice. I like everything about the awning. It’s perfect. It’s the right size and the right length. We had a heavy rain and it didn’t leak behind it.

Everything was perfect with the sales team. The awning is very nice. But I'm curious about the warranty and the price, why it was so expensive. On TV, it says you can purchase a SunSetter for $600. Where do they get the nerve to advertise that? Ours cost $4,500 and that's the same thing they show on TV.

I had an awning put up last year from SunSetter and we enjoyed it very much. Then, I have a lower deck, so we got a bigger one put it there just recently. The only problem I have is that I was supposed to get a floor mat or something part of the deal, which I haven't gotten yet. They said it got lost. Plus, the team had to come back and make some adjustments on the awning. It doesn't close quite right yet. But we like everything about it so far. Give SunSetter a call. They're pretty good.

I had a SunSetter Awning previously and I had it for many years. We did a bunch of renovations on the house and when they took it down, I saw that the material had gotten shredded. So putting it back up was just silly, with the house being all pretty. So we got a new one. I went with a motor this time and it's blue and white. I definitely love the SunSetter Awning. It's pretty. Everything went really well and smoothly, other than the length of time. When I made the purchase, they said it would be about three weeks and it ended up being five weeks to install. But that's with everything these days because of the pandemic. But it came at the perfect time during the sunniest week of the summer so far. I was able to sit on my deck.

I've had a very good experience with Sun Setter. The installers were right on time and did the installation a little bit over an hour. On the whole, I would tell friends to buy a SunSetter.

I had an excellent interaction with the sales and installation team. But I am having an issue with my motorized awning. One of the arms doesn’t come in completely all the way. It kind of sticks out a little bit. So when it's closed, the little ruffle doesn't hang properly. I did text the person that installed it, but I haven’t heard back from him. I know he’s very busy. So, I’ll put another call in to him. Also, I need to know how to protect the awning for winter because it wasn't discussed at all. So if there's a way to purchase a cover for it, I would be interested in that.

SunSetter's sales guy was great but there was a bit of a struggle when he was trying to help me get to the right person for getting the electric installed. When I called him, he said that they were all backed up and there was only one guy doing it. But they want me to have the cash ready for him to call any day and in my opinion, the process is sort of backwards. So initially, I was ready to cancel the order. Until now, I still don't have my awning and I have yet to hear from the installer to schedule the installation. All in all, the sales guy has been doing all he can to help, but their scheduling is not so great. And the finance reps tried to get me to pay for the awning before I even had it, so that part's not so great either.

We called SunSetter and they gave us the name and contact information for their New York City representative. They install and they're also the dealer here. We can buy the product directly from SunSetter but then we would need to go find an installer. But we thought there’d be some value to paying a little extra and going through the local rep. That rep met with us and everything went fine. We made a selection in terms of what color and size of awning we would get. She figured out what the cost would be and wrote the whole thing up.

Back in may of 2020 ordered a Sunsetter awning, salesperson said we would get it by end of June 2020, didn't get it until November of 2020, so had to pack it up for winter, fast forward June 25th 2021 ordered a side weather panel to block out sun, they told me no more than 2 weeks, called July 6th to check status of order, response I get is it's on backorder. Won't get it until August, just in time to pack it up for fall because sun changes direction and I won't need it. Why the salesperson just didn't tell me this when I ordered it I don't know, very very frustrating!!!

We have a little ranch home, white with black shutters, and we wanted something white with those black stripes. And we found what we liked at SunSetter. But we had a little difficulty with the installation. They had an appointment date but they called me the day that they were supposed to be here and they said they couldn't make it. Their crew was over on the east side of the country and that was upsetting for me because we waited five weeks. But Howard, the owner of the company, called me and apologized for what happened. He said that he'd get a crew out here in four days, and he was here the next day where the crew was here to put it on. There were three guys and they got here at 11 o'clock. The installation took about three hours and they were very professional. They were courteous and they cleaned up everything. They even picked the bags up on the yard that were laying there.

We love our SunSetter. There was a bit of a smaller size, but we went for the bigger size that incorporated the window next to the deck, so that window is shaded as well. The sales rep was a nice guy. Two other people in the condo complex were also getting an awning at the same time, so the company gave us a bit of a break, which was the deciding factor for my husband. I secretly have been wanting one for four years since we moved to our condo. I kept dropping hints and finally, it stuck. We didn't have a choice with the color because everybody’s has to be the same, but it's a neutral color that would go with anything. I like the way it unfolds too.

We had some Sunbrella product, which was a standard awning up north for many years. We were very pleased with the Sunbrella product line, but this wasn't a retractable awning before. To continue with the same product that we were very pleased with fabric-wise was great. I wasn't sure how the mechanism was going to be, but it turned out to be extraordinary. The reps and installers were phenomenal too. No trying to upsell us on any given thing. There was one minor little glitch about electrical power, but that the installers took care of it.

Most of the people I know know about SunSetter. As a matter of fact, a friend of mine was the one who referred the rep over to me because she was in the process with them. SunSetter's sales rep knew what he was talking about and he was able to take care of what we needed. The installers were great as well. I pretty much had to call to see if the awning was in, but that's not unusual with all the stuff that's been going on in this world lately. Despite that, the installation was on time because the sales rep said it would be in in six weeks and when I called, it was seven and they had it. They just never got around to call me yet. So far, we really like the fact that the awning keeps the sun away off of our deck. Now we can sit on our deck and enjoy it. We also like the power retraction as well as the expansion, and we recommend SunSetter.

We would highly recommend SunSetter. Doug was the guy that my husband and I dealt with and he's very nice. Everything went well too. The installation was quick, simple and pain-free and we really like the awning. It is very nice.

I'm highly disappointed because they said I’d pay for everything in May and at the end of June, it would arrive and ready to be installed. But I have not received it. I called SunSetter and they said that they show on file that it was delivered to the installer and they would get back with me. This was the poorest customer service I've ever experienced in my life, where no one could tell you what was going on, but they get $2,000 cash from me. I haven't heard back from them. I’m at the point now where I’m about to change my mind and tell them to refund my money. It is almost three months, and nobody seems to know what they’re doing. No one is doing a follow up.

In this house, I get full sun all day. I had umbrellas but they didn't cover my deck. I called SunSetter and the guy who came out and sold the awning to me was really good. He wasn't pushy and just gave me the bill. Then he told me what to do if I wanted to do proceed with the purchase. The whole process with them took four weeks and I love the awning. It solved my issue and it's a really good investment. You can go out there on the deck and sit now. We're getting a lot of the wind at the moment, so I put it up. Then sometimes I'll just go ahead and close it. Or it'll close on its own if it gets too windy. It’s also a nice feature to the house.

The sales team and installation crew were very courteous and kind. They did a nice job. I went with the motorized awning in beige and in maroon. I've used it three or four times. SunSetter awnings are a great deal. Try it.

I've got the awning that's got the flap down the front and there's a little hole in it. They were supposed to order me a new one for that but I haven't heard from the rep. I sent him a picture and he said he ordered one. Also, we were supposed to get a $100 gift certificate for my buddy that recommended me for it. But he has not received that yet, either. But we love the awning. I wish we had done it years ago. We're very well satisfied with it.

The installers had a little tough time because of the installation obstacles, but they worked hard to get the motorized awning up. They had to attach it through a Bedford stone wall, go through the stone blocks, and then get into something solid. We only had the awning a short time, but we like it a great deal so far.

I ordered a SunSetter awning on 6/19/2020. When it arrived I called SunSetter customer service to get it installed. The company recommended Elegant Awning and Shade Systems LLC, Belmont, NH. The awning was installed, but the cover was defective and I had to order a replacement. The installer said he would return to install the cover. The cover arrived, I called to have it installed and they have never called me back. I called customer service and they told me they could not help me with the installer, even though SunSetter recommended them. Then the awning ripped and I called customer service and they ordered a new one, but they would not help with the installation, but told me to call Angie’s List or Installs, Inc that I will have to pay for this. SunSetter did send me a coffee mug, I guess I can offer it to the new installer maybe he will put it towards the installation of the new awning. I will never recommend SunSetter for any of their products.

The awning was out all the time. We couldn't turn it in. The man that put it up didn't tell us that we have to keep it wound back if it's gonna rain because if it gets wet and you wind it in then, it will mildew. But we like the awning. It's a little bit smaller than our other one, but it's what the rep said we could get.

I called SunSetter, got an appointment and the guy came out. It took about a month and a half or so to get the awning, which I understood because they gotta make it especially for you. The installer called me on a Monday then they were out on a Tuesday. It took them half a day, and it was done. We had it up on Father's Day and most of my family was here. It started raining late in the afternoon and we kept it up a good hour and a half into the rain. The rain got a little too heavy and we shut everything down then, but we stayed dry underneath it. There was a little mist coming through, but it wasn't bad. SunSetter has a more waterproof one which I did not get because I know that once it starts raining that hard, I'm not gonna be out there.

My wife had a good friend that knows a lot about SunSetter and he recommended it. We looked at SunSetter and it seemed to fit the bill. We had one installed and we had it out a couple of times. We plan to use it a lot more the rest of the summer and into the fall. We recommend it.

The guy that put the awning in, Ryan, came in and did a hell of a job. He was conscientious of the surroundings, and everything was great. I really liked the way he worked and I can't say enough good stuff about it to my neighbors. Ryan was in and out, but he was not in a hurry and he left everything clean. He also said when he was gonna come back and he kept me informed. Compared to a lot of the guys that I do business with, he’s at the top. My wife and I are both happy with him and I have recommended him to friends.

They were honest with the pricing. They were upfront. They didn't try to do a bait-and-switch. They were looking for quality and not just trying to make a buck. They were very responsive and they came out right away. They answered any questions right away. So I didn't feel I had any questions at the end.

We had an in-person meeting with a rep and that went well. The person that showed up knew the product well and explained everything to our satisfaction. He placed our order. I had a fairly long lead time for manufacturing but it was within the timeframe that the rep had told us. We had a little bit of a hiccup along the way with the installation. We were called on the date for the install and we were out of town. When asked when the next possible date would be, we were told they didn't know. We drove two and a half hours back from where we were to be here for a 9 o'clock install.

I had a SunSetter installed and the salesman was great. I had to call a few times to find out when it was going to be scheduled. The crew was polite and they were clean. The quality of the awning is good. It comes out of the wall and goes back in like I want it to. It's lovely and I like it. It's just we buy the extras and we think it's going to work one way and it doesn't. I got a sensor and that doesn't work. It's not was worth the value. The wind kicked up a few times and the awning did not automatically retract. The rep said it would be a 10 inch difference and the wind would have to really kick up. I have forgotten the awning out there twice and I thought the auto retract would probably retract it maybe less than 10 inches. But I ended up having to go out and retract it. I called the salesman about that. Other than that, the experience was good and I would recommend SunSetter.

We had somebody come out and give a quote. It seems like there might be a bit of a disconnect between the corporate manufacturer and the salespeople. We got brochures in the mail separate from what the salesperson gave us and I realized that he's just like a local reseller. There was definitely some disjointedness between what he had given us and what he was sharing, and then information that we received directly from SunSetter.

My husband and I picked out a SunSetter awning together. We did a 16-foot laminated one. We chose that because of the water repellency and it was a better material for what we needed it for. The delivery went well. When we opened it up and started taking it out of the box, the part that has the scallops on it looked like it rubbed on something. It had a line about three inches long that had little holes. I called SunSetter right away and told them about it. Their rep was very nice and said that she would immediately get the part ordered and replace it. We have not received the replacement yet. That was the only thing that was wrong. That aside, everything was fine. We put up the awning ourselves and everything went well. So far, we're thrilled with it. We just haven’t had the chance to use it much yet because we're not done with the patio.

The people at SunSetter were fantastic. They were efficient and any questions we had, they helped us out. So, we were very pleased with everything. Our experience was definitely easy all the way around. Two gentlemen came to do the installation. The measurements had been taken previously, so they already understood where they were gonna install. It went pretty fast and they complied with everything, so we were very happy. We’re enjoying the awning, especially here in Texas. It’s really hot. So, it really does make the temperature different for us. Also, the awning gives you extra space outside.

I had a very good experience with them. The awning runs good. The only thing we found was there’s a little flaw in the weaving part of it. So I called SunSetter, talked to Doris, and they’re supposed to be sending us a new one.

We got a SunSetter awning and everybody was excellent. It didn't take them long for the installation. They called and said they were on their way and they were right on. We're very happy with the awning. We have a 10 but I wish we could have gone even bigger. We also like the plain color instead of the stripe. It's not so busy when you got lots of stuff going on out there.

I had a good experience with SunSetter overall. When I said that it didn't work, they came back and fixed it. I was a little bit disappointed that it was so small. I didn't give any thought to it when I ordered it. But it works adequately and takes care of the problem here. I like the color too.

We got a motorized awning in western red color and so far, so good.

SunSetter was good. But one thing I didn't like was that they didn't communicate within seven weeks. I had to make the call to them to see what the process was. When you purchase something, you'd like to get some feedback throughout the process to see how it is going. The people that installed the awning were great guys. But they should take a little care. We just had a new $50,000 deck put in, and they gouged the floor and scratched the rail. So I had to call the deck company to see if they could replace or fix it. SunSetter should consider using cardboard or some type of protection before they start laying the material. It's hot to walk on the deck during hot temperatures. But with the umbrella extended, we were able to stand on the deck.

We had a SunSetter before at my other residence. It was high quality and we wanted to put another one where we moved. Everything was perfect. Reps came and met with us here. These were really easy to work with. We picked out what we wanted and the installation was really good. We've used the awning a lot already and it's great.

When we called the SunSetter people, they said that they were gonna send a video and the awning was easy to put up yourselves. But we were not happy about that because we didn't wanna put it up ourselves. So we called Long Island Awning and they said that they worked with the SunSetter people. It took about four weeks to get the awning, which they said it would. Then they came out and installed the awning. It was done in a little bit of time. They were very good. They cleaned up the backyard and whatever they left. They were very professional, especially the people that installed and the guy, Eric, who runs the company. He was very nice.

We had very nice and friendly reps. The installers did a good job too. The awning looks nice and it works well. SunSetter awnings add quality to the home.

Everything went fine. The awning is awesome. I got to pick the fabric that I wanted. You can also choose what you want the end piece to look like, if it's straight or scalloped. SunSetter is great.

We met with the company that sold the SunSetter awning to us. Their guy had some installed at his home. He's currently local and he showed us how everything worked. He was really very thorough. We decided to go with an awning so the guy came out and measured everything. He told us it would probably be about 30 days. That's how they were running and that was fine. The installation was pretty much exactly 30 days and there were no delays. They scheduled a time to put the awning in. It was installed a week or so ago. Everything was good and we're very pleased. The awning is a great product. It's very quiet and the remotes work very well. I know a lot of people that have had an awning and they say they would go with SunSetter.

The awning takes the sun off of my living room and kitchen in the afternoon and makes it quite a bit easier to cool the house. I am satisfied with it, so far.

A gentleman from SunSetter did measurements. We couldn't ask for anything better with that experience. We're on the third floor here and the awning comes over our deck. We hit a button and it goes out. We hit another button and it comes back in. Plus we got a green one with stripes which is what we wanted since that's what our condo has the colors in. We were very happy with that part. It looks really good. But right now, the wind is blowing a little much and I can't let it go.

We had a SunSetter at our previous house. We put it up 12 years ago and never had any problem with it. We moved and got a new awning. We were very pleased with the people that put it up. The timeline for the installation was between a month and six weeks. They told me that at the time that I signed up for it. The quality of the awning is fine but there was one thing that we weren't terribly happy with. We got the lights with it and they are put on just sticking to the bottom. The people that put up the awning just did what was in their packet as far as what they were supposed to do. This is the problem with SunSetter and not with the application. The lights came unstuck and it wasn't too thrilling to have those come peeling off during the hot weather. We used ties to hold the lights up in hopes that eventually the sticky part might stick.

I was remodeling my home. I purchased an awning to just kind of give kind of a facelift on the house. I had interest in doing this for quite some time. I couldn't do it before because I was working, and now I'm recently retired. So, I decided to start remodeling my home this year. And I figured, well, let's work on the outside while it's summer out and everything, do the outside work. And then later on, I'll do the inside during the winter. I saw SunSetter's commercials and I enjoyed what I was looking at. Originally, I was going to get an awning for a deck except I have a basement door. When the guy came out, he said that there's a building code that the deck has to be six feet above the door, which means I couldn't build a deck the way it was. I built a deck going out.

My experience with SunSetter was excellent. We love the awning. I would recommend them very highly.

The person that came into my home was very nice, kind, and gentle. I chose the color and they told me how the awning worked. I really didn’t know too much about what I was doing, but they helped me. But the awning is still out there. I'm waiting until I can get my grill and everything up and all of that.

I had a SunSetter in place and needed a larger, longer one. They were very helpful and did exactly what they said they would and what I asked them to do. I love the new awning. It covers the area I want. I've got the wind indicator so it closes if it's too windy. If anyone's considering an awning, get a SunSetter.

The SunSetter team was very good and the group that we worked with was excellent and kept us informed. The guy even gave me his direct cell phone number and told me to text him and he would get somebody out right away, or if I had any questions. So it was nice that I had that immediate go-to person if I had any issues at all. I bought an awning that’s a higher-end model, which is retractable. It also has the screen in the front that we can drop down and the wind sensor.

SunSetter took about three or four weeks from manufacturing the awning to the point of installation. Everything's taking too long right now because of COVID. The installers came when I wasn't home because we had other plans but they installed the awning and it was fine. The awning lowers the heat out there and it looks nice. I thought that I had done quite a bit of research but I realized I hadn't because I wish that I had known that I could have had a built-in front netting thing to stop the sun. You don't know sometimes until it's extended how much you need that front piece to keep the sun. The awning faces the sun and the reps could not have known exactly how much they needed either at the time. But now, they're trying to comply with it by making one at the company. Also, the side pieces, which we ordered afterwards, could come in other colors.

It was pretty quick from the time of purchase to installation. We wanted it by Memorial Day and they were able to do that. They were supposed to be here at 7:00, and they got here at 6:55, knocking on the door. It was three guys and they did a very nice job with the installation. It was a little loud, drilling into the siding to attach it but it was a very good service. They did a very good job of explaining. I also like that I got to pick the color. We took the standard size and centered it over the back deck. The deck is small so the awning hangs over on either side, which we like. The SunSetter awning works really well. With the awning now, we can get patio furniture and use our back deck more often.

They were very knowledgeable in installing the awning and the installation was done quick. So far, so good.

I had been looking at awnings for a couple of years and I decided to pull the trigger on SunStter with the free gift that came along with it. I got a big motorized retractable awning that is beige or sand in color. Guys came out, put up the awning, and tested it. So far, I really like the awning. It's over my deck and it does what it is designed to do. It shades the sun off my deck. It's well worth the investment.

SunSetter's product is very well-constructed and it seems like the sensors on it are correct, especially the wind. We've had an inordinate amount of wind here this spring and the other day, we had a windstorm in which the awning retracted as it's supposed to. Also, it reduces the heat of our deck. We're very pleased with it. My mother-in-law appreciates it more than anything. She's living with us because of the pandemic and she can sit out on the deck, look at the flowers, and enjoy everything because of the awning.

I was impressed with how the SunSetter awnings were built and how they worked. We decided on the spot that that was what we wanted to do. The installer did an efficient job. He explained how to use it and things we should do. We're very pleased with the awning and it looks like it's a good product. I have no problem recommending it.

The back of our house was very hot. I have the money to get an awning so I did it. I'm very happy. SunSetter's sales rep was very good. If you have a hot side of your house, you should get the awning.

SunSetter Awnings has a good name. I've always heard them through the years and they've got a good reputation. My experience with them was amazing from start to finish. They made it very easy. I really like them.

I had to have old trees cut down so I had no shade. I got a SunSetter awning and that worked out really well. So far, I love it. I have the awning with the remote and it's easy to navigate. The people who did the delivery of the awning were very nice to work with.

It was a fine, quick and easy experience with the SunSetter Awnings team. The installers weren’t here very long. I purchased the awning with the Sunbrella fabric. It’s automated and it's the mushroom color. I use the awning to block the morning sun. I'm glad it's there.

I'm in a development that has about 100 units. The same person who is installing has installed about 15 awnings in the area. I checked around and from word-of-mouth in our community, they all said he did a good job. I decide to go with him and I'm very satisfied with the awning.

We absolutely love our awning. It works awesome.

It was very good dealing with the reps at SunSetter. The awning is more for the evening sunset and I’m very happy with its quality.

The installers were a little bit late getting here, but that wasn't a problem. They were fine. I had to leave for a doctor's appointment and then I came back and they got it done, although it was hot outside. I like the awning I purchased. It has big stripes of black and white and it has an automatic opener.

The salesperson from SunSetter visited our neighbor’s house and we were already in the market to go with them. So, when they were there, we all listened together intently and doubled up on the questions. A couple of guys installed the awning and they were good. We had the deck cleared off for them and they eyeballed the job. We'd like it centered between the railings on the deck and the height as well, and they were right on to it. They were always one, two, three. There were no issues at all. The GFI outlet was already there, so it was straightforward. We also upgraded because we wanted that roll-down at the end of the awning so that when the sun gets low, it can't peek underneath. The guys were able to accommodate that. SunSetter is worth it and we're very happy with it. The quality is gonna hold up between 5 and 10 years.

I had a great experience with the SunSetter team but not so much with the actual product. The hands of the first awning we installed came apart where it opens and closes. So, they had to order me a new one. Even the new one is not the smoothest. One of the hands doesn't close as smoothly as the other. But the installers and the company are very accommodating and wonderful people so I didn't complain again.

The sales representative, Ken, did a great job of explaining the features and options of the SunSetter awning. We were able to select easily what we decided upon. He went outside and helped to sort of lay down a measurement scale and see what we would choose in terms of sizes and what made sense for our space. I made a decision based on that. He was also available and I could contact him with questions afterwards. He was very prompt in responding to my questions on a quotation and so forth. The awning provides nice shade, especially during the middle of the day when it would be otherwise difficult to be out on the deck. It's nice to be able to sit out there on a chair at the table and even eat lunch during the day outside.

Everybody's been real attentive and had answers to all my questions. They did a good job communicating a lot more professionally than a lot of folks that you deal with. They were right on time and went out pretty quick. The gentleman that delivered the awning gave us a good explanation on how to operate it and what to expect in different situations, such as the weather, rain, wind, and so forth. We enjoy the awning. It does a good job in what we intended to do.

Chris was our rep and he did what he needed to do. It was just that he was a little hard to get ahold of and he was slow to respond to questions. His company uses this answering service and there is a wall between me, the customer, and him, the seller. An easier mode of communication would have been nice. That aside, we are enjoying the shade of our SunSetter awning. It is electric and it's very easy to use. You flick the remote and it goes in and out.

The quality of the awning has been good so far. We put it over a table so we can eat outside and sit out there and read or whatever. Since we're in North Carolina, we get some real heat and the awning took the temperature down nicely. It's been great.

We bought a new house up here in Gardnerville in Nevada and we thought it would be the right thing to put an awning outside. We got ahold of SunSetter and a gentleman of Reno came out. We went through all the different options and we bought their awning. When I went online and looked at some of the reviews, it was said that there were problems with SunSetter's customer service. But the gentleman that I dealt with told me that I don't have to call customer service and to call him instead. He would take care of things. He was very helpful.

I had a very good experience with SunSetter. The reps were busy at the beginning but they set a date and they were here by that date. They accomplished everything that we talked about when we went through the contract and what we ordered. The awning was installed by professionals and they bent over backwards. There were some things we didn't like about it and they immediately corrected them on the spot. They did a very good job and we're very happy with it. We had our deck built bigger before we ordered this awning but after, we had the deck built bigger for the older awning that we had, which also was a SunSetter. This awning is a little bit bigger, fully automatic and a powered one, which is very nice. We like it a lot. The other one was an older thing, which we had to crank out and then put the legs out.

I contacted SunSetter and Keith came out. He sold the awning and he installed it. The awning works very well and I like it very much.

The rep knew what she was measuring and when she did finish measuring, she got it correct. The people that put the awning in were also correct with all of her instructions. They were very efficient and fast. They knew what they were doing. We're very satisfied with the awning. Anyone that needs an awning should go to SunSetter and get it because they'll be very satisfied.

The sales guy Tom as well as the team are good. It's a really nice awning too. It works well and they did a nice install. The only thing they can improve is that I was told that if I lead them to another house, I get a gift certificate for dinner and I haven't got that yet. They had one installed two weeks ago.

The sales rep came out to the house and explained everything. We decided we would do the installation ourselves and we're working on it. Everything's fine so far.

The installation crew did a very good job and I'm 100% satisfied that I got an awning installed. People should get SunSetter. It would be the best investment of their life.

We've been disappointed in the situation with SunSetter. We haven't even got it installed yet. First of all, it took us four weeks to even get somebody to call us back to let us know whether it was in or whether it was ready to be installed. We finally had to call somebody to find out what was going on but nobody knew what was going on. They didn't know if it was in, they didn't know even if it had been manufactured.

SunSetter contracts with private companies throughout the country. Ours was Bast Awning, and the owner of the company was great. He came out, measured, brought samples, and brought up the contract. The only negative was the length of time it took, but I've been dealing with a lot of products, and everything is taking longer than it used to before COVID.

The quality of our motorized awning is very good, but when we first ordered it and it was installed, we didn’t pick up the wind sensor for it to automatically come back in when it gets too windy. We've been trying to get the gentleman to come out and put it in. We're gonna talk to him about this Thursday, because he's gonna be at one of our neighbors on Thursday. He's very busy doing a lot of things and doing a lot of awnings here, but when he got in, he's very good at what he does. We've already recommended him to friends.

The gentleman who came up was very informative. He sold us right there and we're very pleased. We were looking for something that would sustain the wind wind force because we have a pretty windy area and we had no problems whatsoever with the wind affecting at the moment. We just got back after spending five days up there, had the awning open every day and it was so beautiful to go out in the morning and not have the sun beating on us. We loved it and kept it on even in the evening.

The representative came out and he was very nice. I live in an active adult community, so I had to show them a piece of the awning that I was putting up. The representative gave me a little swab of it to put on the contract to give it to the HOA for them to see the pattern. He didn't give me an actual piece to keep for myself though. When the awning was brought here, it didn't look like the same one that I picked out. The pattern looked different. I called the owner and told him, and he said, "Mrs. **, that's the exact one." Also, he just said, "Mrs. **, you're gonna have to give the men the check. You can't hold those men up. They need that check to pay off." Now, I gave them $2,000 down and the balance was $1,400. They didn't act too friendly or compassionate at all. All he wanted was that check.

I had a previous awning from a different company and its quality was much better. The wind blows the SunSetter and the mudslide blows it stronger, the more it flaps. Also, I had to get used to the remote. But other than that, it’s good. It keeps the sun out of the kitchen, which is the main thing that we wanted. I like it and I would recommend it.

I've bought a SunSetter twice. Next to the one that I had, we had an electrical pipe coming up to the wall that we couldn't get by, so I had put up two. I bought one last year, and then I told them we’ll do another one next year. It was great both times. My salesman came out, the stuff came in, and he put it up with the guy working with him. In a couple of hours, the awning was up. There is a difference in the color of the two because one's been up a year. Originally, they look the same, but they get weathered. Still, I’m happy with them. It works great. It’s on my back patio and I use it every day. I was also told not to leave it up overnight, in case the wind picks up.

Everything was great dealing with SunSetter and we're very happy with our awning.

The guys from SunSetter Awnings were nice, courteous and did what they said. They did a good job. We like the awning. It's good. It's everything we wanted to do. It's a good product and it has a good price too.

I have the motorized XL which provides shade for my patio. When we bought this house, it needed something. I dealt with my local installer and SunSetter was the type they supplied.

I called a local guy here that installs SunSetter Awnings and talked to him about it. I bought the biggest one they had that SunSetter offered. It's made of good material and he was very knowledgeable about them. I would recommend them for sure. He came here and did an excellent job installing the awning. He had to mount it on top of the roof because I didn’t have enough clearance. We love our awning. We can put it out on our deck and feel the difference. It’s cooler underneath the awning than it is on the deck.
