I called Stannah and got an appointment, which was very nice, except it got cancelled because somebody got sick and I had to wait an additional week for the installation. The gentleman who installed the stairlift was very good and didn't seem to have any difficulty. But he was rather impatient when we had questions. He wasn’t rude but he could have used a speck more patience in his voice. We had to understand him quickly and he didn't appreciate too many questioning to clarify things. But the installation was very clean and neat. And the stairlift has been very good because I fell and broke my hip. I had surgery and I needed something for my main stairway. I should have done it sooner.

Stannah is local and it means a lot because they're here and I know where they are if something goes wrong. I went with them and the sales rep came out when she promised she would. She did her job. Also, the guys who installed the stairlift were fantastic. Stannah delivered what they said they would and we're very happy with it.

My grandfather needed a stairlift and I liked Stannah's values. The salesman that was here did a great job and he gave us a good discount because my grandfather was a veteran. They respected the veterans and he gave us a good price. They do a buyback better. They did a very good job. They offered us a used one and said that it's manufactured and refurbished and they buy it back. There was a whole bunch of stuff that they offered with it. It was nice. The installation went very quickly. I pushed it off to a certain date and they had it all set and ready to go.

It took quite a while to install the stairlift. We had to have a little extra section at the bottom because, otherwise, it would have blocked the door. The installers thought they would be able to do it in a week but it was more like two weeks. But they were very good. Also, we love the stairlift. The only thing is the on-off button has a light that shines while it's on and if we shut it off, it just beeps. We don't really have much of an option to get rid of that light and it's quite bright in the hall upstairs.

Everything went well with the rep. For the installation, they were in one day and the guy was very good. The stairlift has made things easier. I sit on it and I move the thing and it takes me upstairs. It works fine.

The salesperson and the installer were both very good in giving information, answering all my questions, and teaching me how to use it. The instructions for operation were clear and I haven't had any problems so far. My husband had difficulty maneuvering the stairs and this stairlift makes it much easier.

I had done some research online and was looking at things. Stannah was one of two companies that I was going to call. The other was an American company, which I would have preferred. But I was talking with a friend who has a mother who has three Stannah stairlifts. She said all the right things about it. I called Stannah and a salesman came out. He was very pleasant and wasn't there pushing everything.

Everything was wonderful from the salesman down to the installation. The stairlift is sturdy enough. We had a piece fall off, and we couldn't figure out where it came from, but it's not affecting the usage. Overall, we're very happy with the company.

Stannah had features that the other companies didn't offer like the stairlift automatically went up the extended rail. It went straight, but the bottom step sticks out and it would have been blocking the doorway. Stannah had one that went back automatically. I had two of the stairlifts installed and both of them were done in one day. One guy worked on the one going upstairs, and the other guy worked on the one going to the basement. My wife likes the stairlifts.

We're using our Stannah stairlift and we like it very much. It was a very brief and professional experience.

Everything's been very good and the stairlift is working very well. There’s a man who we met before who has taken over and has shown us how to use them, and if there are any issues, he seems to provide the help. We’ve had the stairlift for three months and my husband loves them. He sits on the chair that brings up the stairs and it’s connected. The person who connected them did a wonderful job because my husband sits near an installation that he holds onto and grabs hold of it. The same person has installed other things in my family room and in my kitchen that makes things very accessible for us. We're happy with what's happening.

When I spoke to the manager at Stannah, he convinced me that they were better than everybody else. But I don't know if I can say that because I had to have the first one replaced. The chair tilted forward and it was a bumpy ride. But the second one is much better. The other issue was that I was promised that the people coming had been vaccinated but only one of them was. The next crew that came were both vaccinated.

Stannah's consultant was very professional. He gave an explanation and did a drawing for me, which was very simple, to show me the adjustments I needed to make in order to have a lift in place. He was very accommodating and so far, the stairlift is doing what he said it would.

The Stannah sales rep and installation crew were excellent. They did a wonderful job.

One of my neighbors had a Stannah stairlift so I was able to review it there and she raved about it. And I liked the construction when I was over at her house. Both the installer and salesperson were good. And one thing that I liked about what the salesperson said, that you could go to any of their showrooms and they have the competitor’s stairlift to compare theirs to. I like this one because it was made in America. The construction and engineering looks good. I like those safety features and the remote control options. I have a very wide staircase and the stairlift fits well.

The rep from Stannah did his work, which was very effective, and when he was done, he called me and let me know he was finished. He tried it out and showed me exactly what to do. We are loving the stairlift. When we have to go up and I transfer my husband from his wheelchair on to the seat, it makes a sound if it’s not properly set. He sets it, presses the button and down or up he goes. It’s very convenient for us. It’s difficult for him to be walking up and down the stairs, so that chair is so effective. We had one snag when we had a short power outage and it was making a beeping sound. I called someone to make some inquiries but eventually, it started working good again when the power was restored.

I bought the Stannah stairlift and I also bought an Acorn. Acorn has a control right or left on both arms, so if you have a stroke or you can only use one hand, you can use it on either arm, whereas Stannah only has one control. But other than that, they're about equal. The Stannah is a little expensive compared to others but they may last longer. It is also a little faster and more comfortable to sit on. There's a little more padding, which is the one feature that I was impressed with.

I got my wife a stairlift from Stannah and she liked the fact that she could go up on it without having to climb the stairs. The quality is excellent and the guys who came out to do the install were quick, thorough, and clean. It's a straight stairlift and I had a handrail on one side that we had to take off to have it installed but it fits our stairs well considering it's not a wide one.

We have a stairlift inside the house and one outside, and I got those because my wife's mobility is not that good. We live on the second floor and she needed to be able to get up to our living area from downstairs and it’s 15 stairs to make that happen. Then, she fell once when she was coming up the stairs from outside. It was seven stairs and she injured her knee. We had to get an ambulance to get her upright because she was too heavy to lift. So, we got the outside stairlift. We went with Stannah because of the reputation they have as a company that stands by its product. Tony, the rep, came out to tell us about the product and make the measurements. Everything that he did turned out to be very helpful to the installers so, they did the work very quickly and very well.

Stannah's reps were pretty good and very professional. I got the straight stairlift and it fits my needs. On installation day, they had one technician here and it took him about four hours to finish. And after he installed it, he cleared the staircase as well. The stairlift is very good quality and it has made my life easier. Before, I had to hold my grandma and grandpa every time they came here for the treatment in the room upstairs. But now, it's simple for them, they can go by themselves, and they feel safe.

I was looking around and when Stannah's salesman came out, I was very impressed with him. He knew everything and went through everything with e. He was also very nice and very polite. The installation went well, too. But I don't think the company has their act together yet. I called and I told them I wanted the railway removed as it will give me three and a half more feet. But the rep I was working with was on vacation and he didn't have anything on his phone saying that he was. I called their office and it took them one week to answer my phone call, which was not acceptable. Then, when they came out, they asked if I wanted my chair to be removed. So, I don't think they talk to each other. But other than that, the product looks all right.

Stannah was lovely. The installer was pleasant, knowledgeable and very good. The stairlift is not used that often, but it seems to work. It has the qualities that we're looking for, and the seat is much closer in the feet than the other one. So, it folds up nicely. It was just kind of a pain to get ahold of them. I called and I filled out my information online. I got transferred and that was a little bit frustrating. I did put my name in maybe six times, and then when I called, I got transferred. Each person took my name and phone number. Doug called me back though and he was lovely.

My Stannah stairlift is helping me get upstairs to my bedroom. So far, so good.

The man that works for the chairlift place came to the house and he talked to me and presented all the lovely things about the stairlift and how it could help me. I agreed and I purchased. He was very knowledgeable. The installation took about six hours long. The installers were very considerate and professional. My Stannah stairlift works good for the amount of space in the stairwell that I have. It does the purpose. It takes me downstairs and takes me back up smoothly. It's caused less pain for me every day to be able to go downstairs and then come back up without hurting any more than I already was. Getting to the room is hard. It's really great in my experience for the whole day not to have as much pain.

I had one-half of my stairlift installed because I was still able to walk up the other flight of stairs. But it got to a point where I could no longer lift a leg to go up. Then I went to the hospital for a while, and to the rehab. I was considering getting another half put in and when I was going down stairs backwards and couldn't make the last two steps, I decided that it was time to get it. So, I called and had Stannah install the other half. The stairlift has been a blessing and I like the availability of being able to go up and down the stairs because I live on the second floor. Aside from that, the sales rep I had, Edwin, was very helpful.

I looked at a couple of providers and I talked to Erwin and I liked him, so I decided to buy Stannah. I got the curved stairlift and it fits well enough in my staircase. The quality looks very substantial. The installers were terrific but one of the installers was not vaccinated. Other than that, they did a very good, workmanlike, efficient and knowledgeable job. I was very pleased with the installation. I raised the issue of the guy who was not vaccinated because anybody coming into your home want them to be vaccinated. He said loud and clear when he walked across the door, "I'm not vaccinated. But I'm wearing my mask and I'm wearing gloves and I'm wiping everything with Clorox." He did so he was careful, but it made me a little uncomfortable in retrospect that he was not vaccinated.

The rep was very professional and I was well satisfied with the installation process. My life is a lot easier now. I don't have to worry about my mom walking up and down the steps. I recommend Stannah.

Working with Rich was incredible. Every time I called, he was there. He called me back to give me updates on what's going on. I highly recommend him for any of that. Then the installers were in and out and they explained everything. They set it up for my brother-in-law and had them demo it while he was there. Any questions, they answered them for him. He's happy and he can get around the house now. He’s not locked up to the upstairs. He doesn't need a team of people to help him go up and down the stairs now. He can do it all on his own.

I was very happy with the service. Stannah presented themselves professionally. They were very upfront, helpful, and answered all our questions. I could call them if something goes wrong. They did a great job installing the stairlift.

The sales representative knew everything and answered any of my husband's questions. The installation kid knew his stuff and he explained everything to me afterward. I was slow getting it and he just helped me. We went up and down a few times until he felt I was comfortable. I love the longer arms. The only thing that I found a little difficult is when I get to the top of the stairs and I'm out of the chair, sometimes I bump because it's on the right-hand arm. My clothing gets caught on the thing that I push to go up or to come down. There's a railing but I couldn't reach it to help me get out of the chair so I was really leery about it. But I got used to it and I now know how to be extra careful.

The sales representative was terrible and took over three weeks to get the thing installed. I tried to get it moved up. He was totally ineffective. When I really needed it, I was in the middle of recovering from COVID. Now, I had other complications and I haven't been able to use it as, except once.

I got Stannah’s 13 years ago and I had it taken out because I didn't think I would need it. But now, I do. I had such good luck with them, I called them back. If you have stairs that you're up and down quite a few times, it's a good idea to get the stairlift in.

I called up and asked Stannah for the stairlift, and they came out and I bought it. They spent a lot of time demonstrating it. My husband likes the stairlift. It works. He gets up and down fine.

Stannah was much more reasonable than the others. We decided to buy a stairlift from them for my husband and the sales rep we had was a very nice gentleman. He explained everything, too. We got a two-piece stairlift. Initially, I wanted a wraparound but it would take a longer time and we need it ASAP. When it was installed, the guys who came out took about four hours to finish and their work was very good. So far, I like our stairlift because it does what it's supposed to do.

It was a few hours setting the stairlift up. And the fellow that came was very friendly and knowledgeable. However, we have a newly painted wall with very light gray painting and my husband saw a lot of fingerprints on it. Other than that, it went very well. I've been able to use the stairlift because I have hip issue. So it does its job. I feel safe in it.

Five doctors recommended Stannah. We bought a stairlift from them and when we had it installed, it took about eight hours, which was quick. So far, it works and the quality seems good. I also contacted Stannah when we had a problem and they took care of it.

The ratings seemed to consistently demonstrate that Stannah was a high-quality product, and that nothing was outsourced and everything was done internally. It was not the cheapest, but it was the best value for the money. My parents were happy with the initial visit of the salesperson. I was present for that as well and there was a little bit of a lack of communication. We had an estimated install date. The salesperson told us that they would keep us posted if there were any delays. But we were not told by the salesperson that any further communication should go through the main office.

The way that the Stannah dealerships are set up is if somebody can't take the phone call at the local dealership, they roll it over to the national number, which I understand and it's great. That way, the local dealership isn't going to lose their call. But the national number often was not answered. It took them a long time and they never transferred me to the local folks. I don't know if the messages ever got through. It was a very bad experience dealing with their national phone number. But the local dealership was fabulous once I got to them. The sales rep came and asked what we needed. He looked at the stairs and measured them. Then, he looked for outlets and gave us two or three different designs with price. It was a rare good sales call. He did exactly what we asked him to do and gave us exactly what we needed. So far, we're happy with the stairlift. It's quiet and it works perfectly.

I talked to Stannah and a gentleman came down. He was very knowledgeable and he told me everything there was about stairlifts. A tech in his 30s come for the installation and he knew his stuff. He did the job nicely and fast. Everything came out perfect. Our stairs are really long. They are 32 steps going up all the way and straight ahead. The stairlift works and we love it. We have a garage where I work down below and there’s a big door from the apartment that's upstairs. Carrying cases of water was really tough to do. We put it on the stairlift now and send our groceries up. I take my little pug up there too and we just play with it. I only wish the speed is a little faster. You sit there and you feel like 90 years old. The stairlift takes a while but it gets you up there.

The Stannah stairlift was a big investment but I liked the fact that the quality was excellent. The woman that came out was very clear. The installation was a prolonged one and the fellow that did it spent all day. But he was working along and he did a great job. He left everything neat. I've been very satisfied with the stairlift. Bruce is the one using it and he loves it. He is really enjoying his ride. He gets to shower every other day now.

Stannah had a local office and their pricing included installation, which some of the others did not include. The installation went very smoothly and the crew made sure my mom could operate it before they left. They showed me how the stairlift worked too. My mom is thrilled and very happy with the stairlift. She's able to get up and down the stairs. I haven't had to pick her up from the top of the stairs lately. She has a little bit more positive attitude and that makes a big difference. Overall, it was an excellent experience and the quality of the stairlift is very nice.

I'm having trouble walking and the chairlift worked very well. It's just that we're moving and I would like to know if there is an aftermarket for a used stairlift.

I had a technician come yesterday, and under warranty, he replaced a thin plastic rail that covers the drive train which must have gotten cracked when it was installed. He was here for 10 minutes and everything was fine.

This stairlift makes it easy to get it up and down the stairs and my laundromat is down there. I'm very satisfied with it.

Stannah are great people. I chose them over another company that was a little bit cheaper because they have a warehouse right here in Franklin and they were local people. But as it turned out, when I called their 800 number, I'd get somebody that Lord knows where they are, and they had to refer everything that I gave them, rather than me talking to an individual right here in Franklin. I had an issue where I thought I was overbilled. But then I forgot about the $1,000 extra I had to pay for a feature that lifted a tail so I could get into a room. I called this 800 number and I gave the young lady I spoke with all the information. She got ahold of the accounting department and they called me back. But I expected to be able to get to the accounting department directly.

Stannah was very responsive to our initial calls and coming out and giving us a quote. We were pleased with their sales rep. We had two stairlifts installed and both installers were fine. Stannah is definitely worth it.

The Stannah stairlift is a lifesaver for my husband. He had a full hip replacement and now he can get up to his own bed and to the bathroom upstairs. It's wonderful. We have a door at the bottom downstairs. The installer was very nice and he put in a little thing so that the door would not hit on the chair. My only suggestion is the stairlift could have been up six inches more to the top where the chair would have been. It meets the landing upstairs and downstairs but if there was a little less of the track downstairs and more upstairs, it might have been better.

My son and I researched Stannah and compared it with several other stairlift companies. We found that Stannah's quality was better. The installers came on time and they finished the job in almost three-quarters of the day. But one of the mounts on the first or second step seems to be a little loose. so I'm gonna have to call the installers to come back and tighten it. Other than that, everything went very well.

Our salesperson was Levy and he was very nice to do a Zoom or FaceTime with me. That made everything very easy. Stannah was able to come immediately. The gentleman who was here was incredible. He was easy to talk to and he explained everything that he was doing in layman's terms. He was very patient, personable, and professional. He genuinely cared. He also cleaned up after himself which was amazing. He was pet-friendly too.

The sales rep came out and explained all the different prices, and the different options of rental, buy, and used units. He gave me a price quote and different options of payment. He explained very well. We made an appointment for the installation and then the installers showed up. They explained to my father and they gave him a brochure on the stairs. It's easy to use after my mother got the stairlift. Every day, my mother thanks me that I put it in. We got the curved stairlift because my stairs are curved. Thank God that my stairwell is wide because it takes up some space. The quality is good.

I had contacted Stannah and we coordinated a time. The sales representative came right out. He was wonderful and very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He addressed our concerns about cost. We decided on a refurbished unit with the power swivel. He really sold us on the power swivel and the safety of that. We knew that was something we wanted to get.

Originally, we had the straight stairlift and we went with Stannah were pleased with it. When we had to reconstruct it, we said that we would not change company because we've had good luck with the original one. The sales rep was great. In fact, seven weeks were up and I made a call and it was almost instantly that he got hold of someone in the installation area and made an appointment for the installation. The guys came in and took the old stairlift out and put the new one in. They couldn't have been more professional to get it done. It's just that my wife has short legs. It is very difficult for her to sit back in the chair to get it going up or down and the seat is too high for her. I wish that can be changed.

I have my parents living with me right now and they use the Stannah stairlift all the time and it is working out well. They couldn't get upstairs, and now, they can. You have to be really close to the thing, though, to use the remote control. Other than that, the product is great, so far. Everything's been seamless.

Both my parents needed some help with stairs so we decided to purchase a stairlift for our home. We looked at Stannah with a few of the different brands out there. We ended up going with Stannah because there was more flexibility in terms of renting versus buying, rent-to-buy, and they were local. So, that helps us as well. Our sales person came in. We described what we needed. He saw our stairs. He immediately knew what we needed and when I asked for a recommendation, he was very direct and explained why that was the best one. He was very helpful and answered our questions.

The Stannah stairlift was very expensive, but it's very good. I use it most times when I have something in my hand like grocery shopping. I'm currently living alone, and I can come up the stairs with anything, and I really appreciate that. I looked at my neighbor next door and she has Bruno. Hers was a good $1,000 less than mine. The Bruno is less expensive, but it's not as good, not as nice and not as compact as mine.

The man who came to the house was very informative and nice. He was very good. The young man who came to the house for the installation was excellent. He took his time. He adjusted something for me. He was patient and pleasant. The whole experience was very good. Everybody was really nice from the beginning to the end.

The installation went very well. The stairlift is working fine.

The sales rep was terrific. He was very helpful and he explained everything. When the installation crew came, there was a great interaction with my mother-in-law teaching her how to use the stairlift, and also teaching other family members how to use it so we could help her. The stairlift has good quality. It fits our stairwell better than anticipated. We love the disappearing arm at the bottom because of the way it comes out, and my mother-in-law is thrilled with the walkway at the bottom of the stairs.

I set up an appointment with Stannah, and then the particular installation date didn't work. About six weeks later, the situation changed and we set up an appointment and Stannah came out. They were very, very professional from the onset of talking to the company, to the salesman, and to the installer. I was so impressed. My sister is being discharged from the rehabilitation center today and the reason she's being able to come back into her home is because of the Stannah chairlift. I love Stannah. I highly recommend them and I will continue to do so.

We got an appointment with Stannah and the rep came out and looked at the stairs that we needed to deal with. He asked us some questions and then told us of the options and what they would do if they put a stairlift in, and described the type of device they use, what they were doing and what they weren't doing. He also talked about safety features that really were not directly related to the stairs, but things like having the door automatically not shot to the upstairs. He very carefully described the cost and what the projection would be if we did decide to purchase.

The sales guy tried to be as helpful as possible. He went on the stairs itself to take a look at everything. He showed us a video, which was very helpful. The first thing we noticed with the stairlift was it was so quiet and it looked very sleek. It was the complete opposite of what we were used to. We were very, very happy with his presentation and how he explained things to us.

Stannah Stairlifts sucks. The only kind people were the ones that installed the stairlift. The sales suck. The stairlift is broken and Stannah hasn't come out to fix it. My parents are elderly and they have a modular unit that is too many things that they have to do. I'm going to make sure everybody at Dana-Farber knows not to use Stannah. I'm going to make sure everybody in my town and my parents' town know. I will make sure that Stannah Stairlifts goes and gets bankrupt.

I was in a hurry at the time of the installation and the installer got the job done quickly. It went pretty good. He also cleaned up. The quality of the stairlift seems really good so far. The stairlift runs on a battery so if I lose power, I still got the battery.

The installation went all right. The chairlift helps my husband. He uses it to go up and down the stairs.

I called Stannah and then they came out and gave me an estimate. The sales rep answered my questions and he explained how the lift go. But I told them that I had to wait and then six months later, I called them back and had the stairlift put in. It fits pretty good in my stairwell. I had my left knee done and the stairlift is a big help.

I had two installations and in the first one, the installer was busy doing phone conversations, and it took him a little longer than it should have. His attention was a bit diverted. I called Stannah and they immediately sent someone over, corrected the problem with absolutely no situation, and everything was fine.

Stannah is a quality product. It's manufactured in England and it's really an impressive lift that works well for us. The reason I got it is because I'm 74 years old and I had two bad falls. On the first fall, I broke my femur and on the second fall, I broke four ribs. We figured that a stairlift could make things comfortable here in the house. We got the straight one and it's indoors. It’s made to order and one piece goes right into the other. It's really a piece of work and the whole thing is fully automatic. When the rails come together, they fit like a tee. It's a well-thought-of product. The installer did a heck of a job mounting it and getting it done. The Stannah is made so one man can install it. They have an installation team if there are multiple floors.

Stannah's sales agent was straightforward and he showed me some of the pieces and parts. He then gave me the price. I called their sales department and worked with them on pricing. I asked if they could match a price and they told me, "We give you more for your money, but we'll take it down to this much." That was fair. I then asked when we could get the stairlift installed and they said it could be done within a week. They were able to do that. Their installation tech was very good and thorough. It was a big job for one guy. He was there for four hours making sure everything was done right. He was very explanatory on how everything works so we haven't had any issues with it. On the whole, Stannah's delivery was better and they had a few other features. It was very comparable to everybody else's price but they were able to install the stairlift quicker. I got the straight stairlift and I'm pretty happy with it as is my father.

My husband needed a stairlift for himself and he chose Stannah. We reached out to the company and had somebody come to measure. The representative that came out was Moe and he was absolutely wonderful. The stairlift was put in on the 1st of July this year and that went well. Two different people came in to do the installation and my husband was on the stairlift a handful of times. The only thing is we've had the stairlift from July 1st to now and one of the panels in the back fell off exposing a wire. My husband was afraid to go on it when that happened. I called Stannah and got a little bit of a runaround. I finally spoke to someone and she insisted that I take pictures. It was very difficult to take pictures on the stairway but I did that and sent the pictures to her.

My stairlift works beautifully except it's a bit slow. I need a little bit of a power boost. But if it’s not possible, I count my blessings. Maybe the stairlift has to be that slow for people who have more injuries and can't even sit right. My back is broken and I have a hard time going up and down the stairs. Other than that, I'm okay with the stairlift. It's wonderful and it's a blessing for me. If you need a stairlift, get one.

My sister-in-law bought a stairlift from Stannah and she recommended it to us. We needed a stairlift because my wife is sick. The sales people were nice and everything that the installation crew did was great. Everything about the stairlift is nice and it suits my wife fine. It's just what we bought it for and does what we want it for. My wife uses it every day. If something goes wrong with the stairlift, I have a guarantee so Stannah can fix it. Everything they've done was very professional.

I had a very good sales rep and my installer did a great job. Quality-wise, the stairlift is fine but the chair could be wider. Other than that, it has helped me. I'm handicapped and I can't do the steps anymore. If you really need a stairlift, Stannah is great. The only thing is it's expensive.

I liked that the Stannah machinery was made in the US. I liked too that during the sales visit, there were no high-pressure sales. I was just told what Stannah does and that they've been doing it for a long time. The rep wasn't playing games and gave me the price on a piece of paper. Stannah just seemed like a reputable company.

I had a very nice sales rep and a very good installer. I have a hard time walking sometimes. I like the stairlift very much and I like going up and down the stairs with it.

The gentleman who installed the stairlift was wonderful. There was no mess and he cleaned up. He was very professional and the installation went very well. The quality of the stairlift is very good and it’s very helpful. I’m very happy with Stannah so far.

We interviewed other companies and the Stannah salesman did a great job. I was told the installation was going to take six hours and then the people were going to come between 1:00 and 3:00 so I took off from work early. But they came even earlier than that and I was glad my son was here. When I came, they were here about an hour and a half and they were done shortly after that.

We absolutely love our stairlift. It works perfectly and very confidently when my mom goes up, especially since she's 83 and she really has no cartilage between her bones. It's the best product out there.

The gentleman who came out during the sales visit was very nice and informative and the installers were very nice, too. But we're supposed to be getting the automatic so that the chair would go up and down automatically rather than having to hold a little button. We haven't heard from anybody yet if that has come in or not so that they can schedule a date for changing out the chair.

I saw Stannah on the internet and when I pulled it up, it looked pretty good. The guy who came out here was very good. He talked like he knew what he was doing. The price was pretty good too. I was under the impression that it was gonna be done right away, but we had to wait weeks to have it done. But that was fine. Once they put it down, I was very happy.

I reached out to other stairlift providers but Stannah was the only one who came by. Their price sounded reasonable. When I called the other companies, nobody came to give me a quote. Stannah's reps were decent people and they installed the stairlift well. It looks like a good product and it's working out okay. I had a friend who got his stairlift installed through somebody else. It was a short staircase but I did not like that product for sure. The Stannah I got was much better quality. However, I thought that at the bottom of the stairs it would tilt 45 degrees, but it just stays straight. Upstairs, it tilts 45 degrees, but not downstairs. If it tilts at the bottom also, it leaves more room to move and work things around.

We're renting a Stannah Stairlift. We are pleased with the stairlift and the installation. Everything is well so far.

The installers were wonderful men. The stairlift is very good although I don’t use it that much. I got used to not using the staircase so now, even though the stairlift is available, I don't go up and down the stairs much anymore. But it works, which is what matters.

The installation was alright but I didn’t like the product. It wasn't what they said it was gonna be. I called Stannah the next day and they took out the stairlift. I had no problems with the process.

We had a little miscommunication in terms of when the reps from Stannah were supposed to come out to do the work. But other than that, they did a fine job. My mother refuses to use the stairlift but the main thing was that she was happy. She at least had some quality choices and what it looked like.

I had a chair previously with Stannah and the service was magnificent. It just got old and decrepit and finding parts was difficult, so I had to replace it. I really liked the approach. They were very honest and thorough about it. They worked with me with a reasonable price being a senior. I like the fact that the stairlift goes all the way to the top. The other one doesn't do that. The way it is built, there are 13 stairs, a platform, another two steps up, and then I'm at the top. I like that it's smooth and it's not noisy. It's aesthetically pleasing to the eye, where the other unit, of course, was not state-of-the-art at the time. Be sure and go with Stannah. They'll work with you.

I was having problems getting up the stairs carrying things, and I felt unsafe so I got the stairflift. It's big and in the way when I walk up when I have nothing in my hands. It's hard to get around, but I manage. Overall, I'm glad I have it.

I like the sleek profile and ease of use of the stairlift, even though we haven't actually had a chance to use it yet as my father hasn't returned home yet from the hospital. But once he gets home, he'll be happy to have that available. It's a great product. I'm very happy to have it installed.

The stairlift is wonderful and I love it. My husband said it was a good thing that I put it in when he was still in rehab. He likes to feel he could still do the stairs, but he uses it 90% of the time.

Stannah's rep answered all my questions. The installers did everything well. They told me how long it was going to take and hit it right on the nose. The stairlift works great. The seat folds up. Not everybody here uses it. So, when anybody else is going up the steps, it gets out of the way. It fits perfectly in the stairwell.

Stannah is good except I was supposed to get an automatic swivel, which I was charged for and I did not receive it. The sales rep lied because he's telling me that he did not say that I was getting the reversible rail and the automatic swivel, but he did. The installation went very well though. The installers were very good.

The sales and installation crew were excellent. The stairlift works smoothly. It's of excellent quality.

The reps went over the features and gave me the options for new versus used. The installers found the closest outlet to the stairs and installed a conduit between the outlet and the base of the stairs. They mounted the rail, which screws into the stairs, and not into the wall. So, there was no damage to the wall. I got a new model with an unpowered twist at the top. It works pretty well and gets out of the way well enough when I have people that aren't going to use the stairlift going up and down the stairs.

I called Stannah's local office and they directed me to the right folks. Within three weeks, everything was done. I knew I was spending more than I would have spent with another company but I was totally satisfied with every aspect of the sale. Everything worked smoothly and everything was sold to us transparently. The installation was done by a very knowledgeable gentleman in less than one day. He educated us on the technology and we gave it a couple of test drives. It would have been nice if we would have had a foot-wider staircase but we adjusted to the stairlift very nicely. I couldn't be happier with the purchase and I would recommend it to anyone.

The two installers made every effort to get the stairlift as close to the stair rail as possible in order to leave us the most room for the rest of the stairs to come up and down when we're not using the lift. So, they were particularly good. They made some extra adjustments when the chair height was a little bit high. It has worked out okay and you wouldn't want something too low. But in hindsight, I'm not sure. Our initial consultant, Tony, was careful enough about the height. When Donna stands next to the chair, she has the lower edge of her butt, even with it. But she has to go up on her toes a bit to get onto it.

The sales reps were very friendly and informative, and the installers were professional. We got the indoor straight stairlift and it was not obtrusive as we thought it would be. My dad passed away even before he could use it and nobody’s using it at the moment so that’s another element for us.

The salesman couldn't be any nicer and the chairlift couldn't be any better. The color matches. The installation was simple. Then I got 150 off the regular price because I'm on a fixed income and I couldn't afford it. They were kind enough to acknowledge that and I appreciated it. I just wonder if they have a narrower one, 'cause I have to go down to the basement, and the opening is not that wide. But it works great and I definitely recommend it.

There are a lot of things I really like about Stannah. I liked the style of it and the safety measures. I also like the fact that you could choose the color of the seat and it's softer. It's not all hard plastic. I also liked that it can go 180 degrees. My husband's fairly heavy and it had a higher weight capacity than other stairlifts. The sales rep was knowledgeable about not only their chairlift but other chairlifts. He was able to tell me where Stannah was outstanding versus another one. Even though it was more expensive, it was worth the extra.

The Stannah rep I worked with was awesome, very efficient and knowledgeable. We have the extended two-foot thing that goes up and down, the two-foot extension on the bottom. It works great. The quality seems to be top-notch. It makes a big difference, especially when getting the elderly up and down the stairs.

The stairlift has excellent quality. My mother is able to get up and down the stairs using it.

This is the first time I've ever had a stairlift and it's very easy to operate. Also, it's comfortable for the short period of time that you're sitting in it. Everything's going along fine. The stairlift certainly helps with my health issues.

The sales reps knew what they were talking about and explained everything to me. The guy that installed the stairlift was absolutely great. He explained everything to me too. He was very polite and he had to work around daycare kids. He also cleaned up after himself. The stairlift fits good in my stairwell. Other people complained because they said if they had to get out quickly, the stairlift would be in the way. But I don't have a problem with it. Everybody seems to go around it fine. It's been working fine. It made it a heck of a lot easier getting up and down my stairs. I have COPD, so it really is great.

Everything was great during the installation. We dealt with John and he was wonderful. He explained everything and took his time. My dad was having a lot of problems and he asked John the same question a few times but he never lost his patience. He talked to my dad, explained everything, even if it was more than once. My parents are very happy with the stairlift. It was a necessity and they're thankful that we were able to get it and it helps a lot.

I needed medical equipment to go up my stairs. I asked different friends that I knew had stairlifts. One was Acorn and the other one was Stannah. I went online to see reviews and I was very satisfied with Stannah Stairlifts. Their representatives were very good. They had a woman that came down originally. She was their first representative and she knew her product and it was applicable to me. She knew exactly the right words to say so that people will feel comfortable because it's an expensive item. The cost was something I could afford and I needed it as a necessity.

When the Stannah salesman came, he explained that when the chair is up, it configures in such a way that it blocks the top of the stairs. So, I knew my mother will not be able to fall down the stairs if she lost her balance. What happened was, unfortunately, my mother passed away and she never even saw or used the stairlift. I have rented it for six months, and because the contract had started, I got no refund or any money back. I had the stairlift in my house for three weeks and I just had it removed on Monday. I think that was a little ridiculous that they kept the entire amount because I rented it for six months.

Stannah's salesperson was great. He didn't even need me to follow him around. He just took his measurements and we talked about whatever and he was very cordial. He didn't mind shooting the breeze. When you have someone in your house, you try to make them comfortable but he made me very comfortable. He didn't pressure me for anything. He was very personable. Also, the installers were great. I had to leave because I was just moving in that following weekend. I had to keep going back and forth. They were here by themselves for a little while and they just kept right on working. They were very clean. They cleaned up everything. They showed me how to use the stairlift and they made me feel comfortable with it.

The installment of the stairlift went well. If you need a stairlift, this Stannah is definitely worth it.

The rep was terrific and the installation went very quickly. They were very helpful, considerate, thoughtful, and did a very efficient job of putting the whole thing in. It was all very well done and we're very pleased with our Stannah stairlift. It works well and is quiet. It's got a lot of safety features too. Even if you just sort of walked by it, it beeps. I am pleased that the color is ivory so it blends in with the walls nicely. The upholstery is very nice. It's high quality. We're moving shortly in a few months and we've ordered one for the new house. The only thing is that it's kind of expensive.

We looked up stairlifts, and Stannah was one of the names that we came up with. We had several quotes, and we thought Stannah was the best bet to go with. We were surprised about how good the quality of the stairlift is. It's so sturdy. We can get up the stairs now which we couldn't do before.

A woman came and she did the survey and the proposal. I reviewed it and I went down to the showroom, which was in Franklin, Massachusetts. I looked at the stairlift demonstrated and it worked for me. I gave them my credit card and two guys came on up for the installation. They did it within the timeframe available. It was less than a whole day. As long as there are no difficulties the next year or so of the warranty, I’d be perfectly happy.

Everybody at Stannah was outstanding. They kept to the dates they said they would and were in touch with me prior to coming. They came on time and did a fabulous job. So far, everything's great with the stairlift. They gave great education on how to operate it and it's been smooth sailing. It's a fabulous machine.

The guy was very good to work with and he explained everything and he put it down. The stairlift has impacted the people that are handicapped quite well. They are able to go up and down the stairs now instead of falling down the stairs and with no problems. They like the way it operates.

Acorn want $10,000 for their system. Insurance companies call that a luxury and they don't cover that. On the other hand, Stannah offered a used setup at a much more affordable price. Their rep was personable and educational. His customer service was excellent. The installers were neat and they didn't bother us. We like our stairlift a lot. It's saving my wife's back.

The sales reps from Stannah Stairlifts were helpful but it was odd that they only sent one person for the installation. But that’s all it is. It is a one-person job. I got the stairlift for my mother-in-law because she moved in with us and she hasn't complained. The only thing that I don't like about it, which is when you're at the top, you turn the chair but the bottom doesn't turn. The feet still face forward but the chair turns. I wish the feet moved with the chair. It would be more stable in her condition because I worry about her trying to step on that. Other than that, it works fine. I like what Stannah told me that if I’m not satisfied, they’ll come and take it back. They’ll refund me. Things like that are important when you make decisions like this. Plus, there’s also the warranty.

The sales rep was very friendly and he did a great job. He was very efficient and knowledgeable. We got the motorized stairlift with an automatic turn and the guy who installed it was very quick about it. It didn't take him that long and he made sure we know how to use it. We have a narrow stairwell and my knees clear the wall, so the stairlift fits good. It’s top quality. I highly recommend Stannah Stairlifts. It helped immensely. It takes me and my dog upstairs and it gets my wife back up to bed.

My daughter found Stannah Stairlifts and I called and made an appointment. The fellow who came was absolutely very knowledgeable. He made me understand everything. He gave me all the different prices that we could have gone with with different types of the stairlift, how many steps or what I wanted to do. He was very informative. I chose the one that best fits my situation and my pocketbook. The man that came to install it was also really good. My son was here also, so they spent a lot of time together and the man was explaining everything to him. I watched. It was a lot to take it in in the beginning, but when we used it, it was really simple.

There's a water heater in my cellar and sometimes when it rains, I can get water in the basement, so I need to get down there. I am not mobile enough to make the trip all the time, so having a stairlift installed makes it easier. Now, it could be five or six days between times when I use it, but it's there, and it's good to have it. When I was choosing companies, I checked with Stannah first. When the salesman came in, he was able to determine something with the cellar stairs. He said there was a lip there and to have the installers place the track a little further back for stability when they do the install.

I had a stairlift and it was broken. I got another one from Stannah. Everything went fine with the sales visit because the guy, being a salesman, just told me what I wanted to hear. But then when it came the actual time, he couldn't deliver. I needed the chairlift to get from one floor to the other floor. Being 78 years old and with a walker, I definitely needed that chairlift. By me prolonging it another week didn't help anything. The installer finally came a week later, and installed the chairlift. He didn't give me very good directions because I kept having problems with it. It's working fine now. I called the salesman back up again, and then he walked me through it. The machine works very good.

Their rep did a great presentation and the stairlift folds up great and has the remote button for the seat that comes out. The track is enclosed. It looks pretty good and we've had it, and it's working great.

Stannah installed our stairlift efficiently, and it's working well. Initially, Tony came out to the house. He’s the sales guy. He covered everything. The one thing that surprised me a little bit was that the chair sticks out beyond the frame a little more than I had anticipated. So, its best position is when it's up at the top of the stairs, rather than sitting down at the bottom. It kinda blocks our way a little bit. Given the location of the stairs, I’m not sure if there was any other real alternative. We got the curved model. It started from the inside of the stairs. Quality was good. Stannah has used models, too. I didn't go that way myself but that seemed like an option for somebody who is a little concerned about price.

My husband had a spinal cord injury and my children got a stairlift. The installers were wonderful and the quality of the stairlift is excellent. It's working well and it's fun to play with going up and down.

I was in the need of a stairlift for my mom. Stannah was local and their people showed up when they say they would show up. The salesman was good. The installer was very knowledgeable and cleaned up. Everything was first-class. The stairlift really aided my mother in her recovery and it did exactly what I hoped it would do. But I have to talk to someone because the button that makes the foot lift go up and down doesn't seem to be working. I'm going to need a technician to come out there. Other than that, everything was really good.

The sales visit was very good. The woman was very nice, explained everything to me very well, and didn't try to pressure me. That was very important to me. I want to get the information and then make a decision. Also, the installer was so good. He explained everything very well. I was happy with that. There were features that I liked. The fact that the foot rests, I just have to push a button to get it down so there's no bending over anything, which defeats the purpose of getting it. Also, it turns when I get to the top of the stairs which made me feel safer.

Michelle came, gave her speech, and told us where it could go in the stairs. She measured, took pictures, and told us how much. Then the installation got done in half-day and the installers gave the instruction. The quality of the stairlift is fantastic. It’s running well this short time.

I'm not really satisfied with my chair lift. I don't like the way it's installed. When it comes down to the bottom and it stops, I can’t turn it, so I'm crunched for space in order to get out of it and pick up the footrest. It should be able to turn at the bottom the same way it can be turned at the top. Then the installer took the chair lift right to the top of the stairs. I asked him to take it a little bit further than that so I'm not near there when getting out of the chair. But he didn't do that. I had to turn the chair in order to get out of it. Otherwise, I'll be standing on the top step of the stairs.

My husband and I like being able to have our stairlift and use it. We are elderly and we have problems doing the steps. We're happy with it.

The quality is very good and we don't want it to go 15 miles an hour, but the way it is, it's too slow. That's the only thing I don't like about it. I called the salesman and I asked if it could be adjusted and sped up a little. Other than that, it made climbing up and down the stairway easy.

We got a second-hand Stannah stairlift. The cost is very expensive for a brand new one. The installation took over three months. But once the crew came out, they did a fairly good job. The stairlift has made my life a little better. I cannot walk all the time. That’s the reason why we are using the stairlift. But Stannah should have had a strap in it especially for us older people. It's to be more secure.

They did very nice precision work. It took a lot longer than I expected though. I don't think my expectations were well managed on installation time. But they did everything I expected. It's pretty pricey, but it does what it says on the tin. The mission was to prevent us from losing living space to a hospital bed and it did that.

I like that Stannah is company-owned, directly with the manufacturer. I also like their price and the quality of the stairlift itself. The installation of our stairlift was great. They did a great job. It's been a pleasant experience.

My brother met with the sales rep because I was still in the rehabilitation center but I met with the installers. There were two young men that spent all day putting the parts together and putting the chairlift in. They were very nice, friendly and helpful. They were great. I got the curved model. It had to be measured and curved. My stairway takes one right angle turn. So far, so good. It works. I like everything about it. My full-bath bathroom and my bedroom is on the second floor and unless there was somebody who's gonna carry me up the stairs, there was no way I was gonna get up there. Before the chairlift was installed, I was having to sleep in the den on the first floor and use the guest bath, which is only the half bath. So having the chairlift was very important.

Within half an hour of me sending an email, we had a callback and then we had an appointment date set up for the same day that the guy came out to the house. So it couldn't have been quicker. The installation went very well. The two guys that were here were very nice and considerate. They worked well. Never having had a stairlift before, I'm surprised at how easy it is to use.

The salesman did a great job. He came, measured and gave me a price. When the stairlift was put in, it didn't take the installers long at all. It's beautiful too. It’s straight right up against the wall and it goes up. I have to wait a while before I can use it though. I'm having therapy and I'm not able to put any weight on my leg yet. Still, all my neighbors love it, especially one of them. I'm in a wheelchair with a walker and they come over because sometimes, I'll need something upstairs.

The people I worked with were very nice. The guy that came up and installed the stairlift did the whole thing in an afternoon. The stairlift has a lot of safety features. Everything's fine.

We liked the product, and Stannah got in touch with us quickly when we inquired about it. Our salesperson, Mo, was fantastic. We weren't due for an install until sometime in March. He called me a week after we ordered it and said that he had an opening where he could get it done in a week. I said, "Sure." The installer was here three hours and he was kind and courteous. We asked him if he wanted something to drink, water or coffee, and he said, "No." He just did his job and he did great. I'm happy with the product completely.

I checked online and asked people that had a stairlift. Most people picked another company, but I went with Stannah. There was something about them. They're five stars and all good reviews. When I called, I got a callback right away and we set up an appointment. The salesman who came called and told me he was 10 minutes out. He was a little early. I said, “No worries, I'm stuck in the house anyway.” When he came, he looked at the house and said it was going to be easy. He recommended things to us because we had to have electric put in before he came back. He was a very nice guy. When he left, he immediately emailed me and sent me a nice note.

Our choice is a stairlift or an elevator. But we couldn't find an elevator that would meet our needs and housing requirements. So we went to the stairlift and Stannah met everything that we needed. The solution was not only satisfactory, but it was economically much better. We went down to the local dealer, and it was an excellent meeting. And then the meeting when Michelle came up to measure was excellent.

I have some crushed nerves in my back and because of my age, they won't operate on them. So, I was having trouble going up and down the stairs. My bathroom’s on the second floor, so I got a straight Stannah stairlift. Their representative was very good, courteous and knowledgeable and the installer was excellent. I love the stairlift. The quality is good. The cost of 150 a month is a little high. But I'm probably only gonna use for the six months anyway. So, right now, it's exactly what I need.

Stannah was the first company that I called and they were very nice people. The representative was very nice, informative, and wasn't pushy. He let me make up my own decision, which was nice. The stairlift was installed inside our home. The installer was from upstate Connecticut and he was a very nice man and very informative. It hasn't been a month since being installed but so far, the stairlift seems to be pretty good and lasting. It makes my life much easier. I just have to do four steps and then the rest comes up easy.

The sales rep of Stannah was very good. I also had no complaints with the installer. He demonstrated it. The quality of the stairlift is very good. However, the product takes a lot of room on our stairs. It'd be nice if the chair was removable.

Stannah Stairlift is a lifesaver. Thank God we have it. My mother had hip surgery and she lives on a high ranch. We wanted to be able to bring her down a full flight of stairs in a safe manner. So far, the quality of the stairlift is good. The rep was also great. He answered all my questions.

I looked on the internet and I was looking for somebody that could show me something locally, and I found Stannah had a mini showroom here in Hamden. The salesman and installer were both excellent. The straight stairlift fits very well. The way you have the bottom track retract and extend turned out to be an important thing. We have a very narrow opening at the base of the stairs, and that was a good feature that I discovered after I looked into Stannah. And the fact that it's powered. Some companies, it's a manual device to do the similar equivalent function.

I had three different companies come out, take a look and measure it up, and give me a price and the finer points of their product. All three companies were very professional. Nobody was pushy and everybody was factual. I looked at the features of the Stannah versus the other ones. Stannah was the most expensive of the three but it seemed to be the one that made the most sense so I picked it. I got a straight model. So far, it seems to be 100% fitting the bill, and it's just what I expected. My stairs are adequate when the thing is folded up in a put-away position. You can walk by it like it's not even there.

The installation was top notch from top to bottom. The stairlift is a great piece of equipment. It's enabling my wife to function in the house. Stannah is a great company.

We had an excellent sales rep from Stannah. We got a straight chairlift and the installation impressed me. The service person was very polite and clean. He never left a speck of dirt anywhere when he was done. From what other people have told me, the other brands are nowhere near as nice as this Stannah. And if you order from one certain company, they don't install. You have to hire an installer besides the cost of the chairlift.

Stannah was a little high but they seemed to be a well-represented company. It wasn't a fly-by-night thing and they were very honest people. Their sales rep was great. In the installation was a one-man team and that person did well. But he had some issues with the gearing. It makes a slight noise. I'll have to call him back and try to set up an appointment to get that readjusted. Other than that, everything about the chairlift is pretty much automatic and the chairlift seems to be of pretty high quality.

I needed a stairlift for my mom. She had a knee replacement surgery two years back and she has issues with climbing upstairs. We have Stannah and it's fine. The installer took a bit of time but he did the job well. It's just that there was a thing that was attached at the time of installation which was not so tightly attached so that keeps on falling and the armrest has been falling.

The guy from Stannah was awesome. He walked me through everything. The installer was good and he didn't leave a mess. He showed us how to use the stairlift. It's good quality and I like it. It makes it easier for my grandmother to get up and down. Also, it’s not in the way. It just helps her.

The Stannah Stairlift works. It looks nice and fits perfectly. The people that installed it were perfect. They did everything quickly and clean.

The Stannah representative and the installers were very professional. The straight stairlift we've got works fine.

The sales rep from Stannah was great. I love her. The installer knows his job and he was courteous. He also explained stuff. The straight stairlift is great and it fits good. We are preparing it for my daughter. She's not here yet but my other daughter has used it to carry clothes upstairs. The quality is good.

A relative of mine had a stairlift in their house and had recommended it. The people from Stannah installed it first. Then they took it out of my relative's house and installed it over here. It was very good. So far, the quality has been so good.

The installation of our Stannah Stairlift was excellent. One man did it all. The quality of the stairlift seems to be fine. I like that the stairlift saves my breath. When I go to the top of the stairs, I can still breathe. It would be nice if I could shut my downstairs door going up, but the way it works, I can't. So, they had to take the door off. The door would have been in the way, but it's fine.

My husband was unhappy because the sales rep of Stannah never told him that there was a discount coupon available. But their warranty process was a lot better than others. I'm also glad that the stairlift is there. The whole thing is my favorite feature.
