The Stannah stairlift is sturdy. The only thing I don't like is they put the wire under the door. I stepped on it twice.

The sales rep was very helpful. The installers were very nice and friendly. They were also very efficient and clean. It didn't take them very long. The stairlift makes life a little easier on my knees. The whole thing is good.

The sales rep was very nice and helpful. He gave me his personal cellphone right on his business card. If I called him, he called me right back if he was not able to take the call. It was very good. The stairlift has made things much easier. Getting up and down the stairs is amazing and without pain. It's amazing.

Stannah Stairlifts came out to the house, did all the measuring, and gave me a quote. I've spoken to the sales rep three times over the last three years. So, I was very comfortable with her. She was good. We expected the installers between 9:00 and 11:00. And they called and told us they would be two hours late. We weren't happy about that, but the things happened. At least, they called and told us. They said it would take three to five hours. And it took five hours. The installation time was right. It was just a bit later than we expected. The stairlift is curved and indoor. The installers walked my mother through it. She was able to ask questions. And the person was very patient. He did a very good job explaining to her. The stairlift is exactly what I expected. Since it has gone in, my mother uses it every day. She could walk the stairs, but she chooses to use the stairlift. My mother is very happy with it. I couldn't be happier with her satisfaction with it.

The installers did the job quickly and very well. I like the Stannah stairlift. It's compact and seems to operate very well too. It makes it easier for me to go up and down the stairs.

The Stannah Stairlifts showroom was close to home. I was able to go to go look. The rep was very informative. He had all the answers that we needed. And he was very professional, polite, and friendly. I'm very happy with the stairlift that I have. It doesn't take up the whole space. There's enough space for people to go up and down comfortably.

The gentleman from Stannah explained what the lift chair was like and looked at the steps. He explained to my son and me that there was enough room to put the chair and if somebody wanted to walk on the side, there was enough room to walk on the side. He also told us how it swivels at the top of the steps and it would allow us to get my husband off, even though he wasn't walking at that time and get him on the walker and try to walk him into the bedroom.

The sales rep was very good and the installation seemed to go without a hitch. The quality seems good to me. The Stannah stairlift has helped a lot. I don't have to think about whether I wanna go upstairs or not. I can just go.

Stannah was very good, and the stairlift seemed like a very good product. The salesman did a very good job. He was detailed. He was explaining everything to me. The guy that did the install was also very good and very patient with me asking all my dumb questions. I had to sit on the stairlift and go down and he told me what to do. We did that a few times. The stairlift is very sturdy and comfortable. I feel safe in it.

The one time sales visit from Stannah was good as well as the installation. The guy was nice and polite. He was able to complete it all in one day. The quality of the new stairlift is great for my parents. People should get it because it's beneficial to elderly people that have handicap issues.

The sales rep was informative, polite and satisfied me well enough to buy the Stannah stairlift. I bought it right there at that visit. It took about two weeks to get it installed and the installer was fantastic. The quality of the stairlift is excellent.

I've never heard of Stannah, but when I went online, they were listed as one of the top two stairlift places. I also saw that they're right here in New Jersey where I am. The other ones were out of state, and I didn't think it would work that great coming from a different state. It seems like places like that, if you've had any problems, wouldn't come back out again and fix things that went wrong. Stannah had a good reputation, and they gave me the warranty on everything for a while. The customer service was good, so I figured I'd go with Stannah.

Stannah Stairlifts came here the fastest. The rep was so nice. He went straight to the point. He sold me exactly what I wanted. And the best part is he was able to have the stairlift installed the next day. The guy came in first thing in the morning. He was very nice and professional. Even though my house was hot as hell, he did a great job. Everything was quick. The only thing I don't like is the beginning is scary, the way I hang in the air. I wish in the beginning the stairlift could come a closer to the edge, because I know that's the way they are, but it makes me nervous because I feel like I'll fall over. Other than that, our life is a lot easier because our family member is able to be part of the family more often.

Stannah Stairlifts put a stairlift in for my mother years ago. This time, it's for my aunt. Their rep was a good salesman. My aunt likes the stairlift. She doesn’t have to walk on the stairs.

And they kept me informed by telephone of what would happen and when. I was impressed with them. The whole thing was a good experience. The stairlift seems very good quality. I've gone up and down ten times on it just to check. It's always reliable.

The rep who came out was very nice. I liked him a lot. Also, the installer was a really hard worker and he was good, but he took a lot longer than I thought it was gonna take. Other than that, my stairlift works fine. I barely use it though.

I called Stannah and they came a day or two later. The rep measured and explained how it worked. He showed me the brochure and what was gonna happen. I said, “I'm afraid it's gonna be too high.” He explained everything very nicely. He wasn't pushy. He said, “Just let me know what you wanna do.” He wanted to make sure, too, that my landlord would allow it. He waited for approval and sent the insurance information. Everything couldn't have gone smoother. The installer came at 8:00 and was done by 12:00 noon. He had to do two flights of stairs. I'm very pleased with the company. It's one of the best installs I've had. It's also very easy to use the stairlift. You just sit on it.

Stannah was the first one that showed any interest, so we went with them. The sales visit was very good. It was a pleasant talking. The rep had the information. He answered any of the questions we had. We got a straight stairlift. It's all right. It doesn't get in the way. It's made life a bit easier. The installer was one fellow. He was very pleasant.

I called Stannah on Tuesday and the stairlift got installed on Thursday. That made me very happy. The service was good. The installer did everything right and was clean and respectful. The stairlift is beautiful. I would recommend it to anybody.

When I called Stannah, the rep asked me if I was able to take measurements of the steps. It is an old house, so it's old code. They're not as wide, and they are steeper than staircases that are made today. That was one of the things that I was afraid of. I gave him the measurements. He said, “We can do that. We'll send somebody out.” They came out within a couple of days. They took a look at everything and took more measurements.

I went to someone's house who had Stannah and I was impressed. I just called Stannah and they came out right away. The rep was excellent. He was accommodating and made sure that we understood clearly what we were getting, and then how that would be paid for. It was very clear and thorough. The installers got out there and did a fantastic job. My mother loves the stairlift. She can use it and it's been very helpful. It's been absolutely perfect for our situation and our needs.

The stairlift is a little slow, and it makes noise, which must be the chain. It's also a little expensive, but outside of those, it's okay. It's made me lazier though.

The reps were very thorough and they went over everything. The installers were very good. They got here about nine and they were done by three o'clock. The stairlift is of very good quality. I can't climb stairs well and the lift has helped a great deal.

The stairlift was installed within two weeks. The experience with their team was all right. But I wanted a paper warranty and not have to go online for it. Also, they didn't give me the right chair cover, so they had to come back. The quality of the stairlift is nice. But it's expensive.

It was fantastic with Stannah Stairlifts. They explained their service, looked at the special needs to the staircase, and gave us a proposal. We went over the options -- buying new, buying refurbished, what kind of addition we can put in that you put in the automatic turning at the top of staircase. We're very happy with it. It's a straight up and down staircase, but the chair curves at the top of the staircase. At the bottom, it had to be retractable rail so it doesn't block the entrance way.

Stannah did a good job. The salesman was accurate and good. The people that installed it were very knowledgeable, and it's been perfect ever since they walked out the door. I have a problem with the stairs. I have had a stroke, so my legs don't work that great. So every time I go upstairs to the bedroom or my bathroom, I use it. I use it quite a bit every day. The quality is perfect. Stannah is a very good company, at least, so far. I got everything I was supposed to get.

My wife filled out a thing on the web and at the end, you have to put your email in. She wasn't sure she was that interested yet. At about 8 o'clock in the morning, I got a call. We set up an appointment with Stannah as well as with three other companies. Stannah was right there first on the scene. They couldn't come any close to the prices of the other companies.

Stannah has been in business for many years and they have some pretty good reviews online. When I spoke to the company, I was content with the product and the warranty. There was customer support in the event that something were to break down and the product needed maintenance/ I liked the timeline for them to be able to come too. The other thing was their price point was pretty comparable to what was being offered by many of the other companies that were out there.

Until now, the Stannah stairlift has been really good. My parents are enjoying it. I didn't get a chance to speak to the sale associate because my husband was dealing with him, but I got to see the service. The guy was so helpful. He told us everything and how to deal with it. The stairlift looks good. It’s sturdy. I have an 83-year-old, 70-year-old, and 69-year-old in the house, and they all often use it to go up and down.

Stannah was the cheapest and best option and the guy that came to give us the quote on it was very informative, helpful, and kind. We got a straight stairlift and it fits in the stairwell very well.

We liked their rep Tony. The girls that I spoke with in the office were kind. The day the stairlift was supposed to be put in, my husband was in the hospital then he passed away. But I'm gonna keep it. The installation was fantastic and the tech cleaned up all the mess. I would recommend Stannah to anyone.

We liked Stannah's price and the apparent quality, and most importantly, the sales rep that came out. He was very detailed and timely. He went through the system. He was very professional. The installation team did a very good job. They couldn't have been nicer guys. They knew what they were doing. They did a great install. There's one minor issue that I might have to report for service. The buttons to lower the footrest seems to jam a little bit. Overall, we've been using it for three weeks and it's great. It eliminates the risk of my father-in-law falling down the stairs.

The Stannah chairlift fits well into the stairwell. It doesn't block things too much. It's pretty unobtrusive. It looks like it's designed reasonably well. It looks like it works fine for my father. We needed a chairlift because of my father's lack of mobility. It enables him more easily to get in and out of the house. So functionally, it's very useful and fairly important so that he can get outside.

We built an apartment for my mother and we put a Stannah in there for her. We did another one and the sales rep was great. He was very informative and we had a good chat. He was a nice person. We knew about Stannah anyway because we already had one. The installer was wonderful, very fast, and personable. We liked her a lot. The chairlift fits wonderfully. There's plenty of room to move around. We've gone up and down. We're in our 80s, so it's perfect for us to get up there. This chairlift has already impacted our lives. My husband has a problem going upstairs because he has a heart condition. I can get upstairs okay, but I use the chair now and then. The only thing is we haven't used the chairlift that much because they're redoing the inside of our garage and that's where it is. The chairlift goes up to a loft but there are people out there putting up wallboard.

The sales rep from Stannah Stairlifts, Moe, explained everything. They didn't really pester us to buy, and I appreciated that. They gave me time. We got a straight stairlift. It accomplished the purpose. My wife and I can get up the steps with it. We were both having difficulty. I went up rarely. My wife endured a lot of pain to get up there. The stairlift's quality is good. The first day we tried to use it, we got an error code. We worked that out and it's been good since. Stannah did a fine job. They were very professional.

The rep was very informative. The installer had trouble with the rain but she did a good installation. The stairlift helps me. If I had to climb the stairs, I would be short of breath. I wouldn't be able to make it. I like that the stairlift has that extra bar that comes out and it automatically comes in. It's of good quality and it works perfectly. Because it goes all the way to the top, I paid extra so I don't have to spin it around. It does that automatically and I get off on the top landing. Now, when I go down again, the chair is sitting on the first two steps. So, I have to turn the chair over to me so I can sit in, but the chair is sitting over two steps, the first two steps. So, I have to grab the handles and sit in the chair. I thought that it would come all the way up, but according to my son, it's physically impossible. They'd have to make another bend in the railing in order to bring the railing up to the top.

The rep was very nice and so was the guy who installed the stairlift. It could have been a little cheaper but I'm satisfied with it. It works fine.

Stannah had the best product at the best price. The sales rep did a very good job of describing the product and how it works. They even had a sales floor where you could go down and test drive their stairlift to see if it would work for you. As far as the installation, it didn't require any intervention from the customer's standpoint. The work went quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up after the work, and they did a very good job. The stairlift is excellent. It's very safe and easy to use. There was just a manufacturing defect in the rail, and they need to come back and install a new rail.

The Stannah Stairlifts salesman was very professional. He was friendly and knew his business. The two installer installers came in. They knew exactly what they were doing. And it only took them a couple of hours to do it. I have double railings. I kept up a railing so that they put the chairlift that's a bit away from the wall that they normally do. But Stannah did it the way I wanted it. I was satisfied.

The rep was very professional. He came on time and gave me a thorough review of the product. The stairlift works very well and it's of good quality. I like all the features. I saw one that was made several years ago and they've definitely added some new whistles and bells. There's a retractable piece at the bottom of the stairs that pulls up into itself and prevents tripping. That's a new feature and it's very nice. This stairlift is just what we needed and I'm very happy with it. It has made things much easier and made a living space accessible to my mom that was not accessible previously.

The two different gentlemen that we worked with were both really knowledgeable and thorough, as well as kind. The first day of the consultation, the gentleman was communicating about when he was coming and he was running behind because of construction. When he arrived, he had videos, photos, and he anticipated questions that we had and had answers before we even asked. It was a really easy, quick process because he was so knowledgeable about both the products, and also asking questions from us. It was the same thing with the installation. They did everything, and we didn't have to do anything to help or move stuff out of the way. They tacked everything and put the stairlift higher on the wall because it went to the basement, just in case it flooded. They were very thorough and neat. They cleaned everything up on the way out, like the stairlift just magically appeared. There's nothing I would have changed as part of the process.

The only thing we had a problem with Stannah was there was a communication problem with the installers. We have a handrail where they put the lift on and one of them was asking my husband if we want to keep the handrail or not. My husband said if he can keep it, he'll keep it. It was not explained to us that if they would take it out, we would gain some space and would have been very nice to gain that space. That was upsetting that we weren't made aware of that. It's a little tight in the stairwell. Also, when I press the button for the foot lift, it's very noisy. Other than those, it works seamlessly.

The person that sold our Stannah stairlift was very professional. She explained everything nicely, made all of us very comfortable and offered any kind of help. If we needed anything, to call, get in touch. The installation was very professional, clean, nice, and the person knew exactly what he was doing from the beginning to the end. Everybody that came here said our Stannah stairlift is the Cadillac of stairlifts. So, we are happy with it. It's a very practical and easy stair lift to use.

My mother was moving in, and she's 80 years old with some mobility issues. We decided on a stair lift, and got one from Stannah. I loved the salesman, Jonathan. He was fantastic. Also, I thought Stannah's rail system worked best in our house. We have a lot of twists and turns in our stairs, and a lot of the other systems we looked at were very wide and cumbersome. Stannah had the most sleek looking design. My mom gets there, she gets up and down, so all is well. I think it will massively increase her quality of life.

Their reps were very polite. The installation went smoothly. Had a little problem. The handle was loose. It was also too low. I had to get the lift a little higher for me. They had to send somebody to do that right. The quality has been good. So far, I have no problems.

I like that Stannah is a local company and they have a reasonable price. It was great with the sales rep. The installation was seamless. So far, so good.

The gentleman was cautious about the extension of the stairlift where it met the bottom of the stairs. There was a doorway that came out from the side, and he saw that as a potential trip hazard. He was reluctant to install it until he spoke to his supervisors. His supervisors recommended two lines at the bottom of the contract, asking me to demonstrate that I was aware of the hazard and that I would fix it by putting something in its way. At that time, I temporarily put a refrigerator there, so that way, that end of that bar did not represent a trip hazard. The installer was happy with that. The Stannah stairlift fits in the stairwell. I can walk past it if I'm not carrying anything. I wish it went faster though.

I met with Stannah and another company. The other company had a great salesman. But it got down to price and Stannah beat the price that the other company had. The installers were terrific. They did the job quicker than I thought they would.

The rep was very informative and easy to talk with. She answered any questions. The installer was good. He stayed at it. I didn't get a sense there was any messing around. He was neat and well-mannered. My sister likes the stairlift.

We have a chairlift in the house that goes down from the first floor down to the garage, and the Stannah one goes down the front steps. The crew that came out was in and out. The Stairlift has been fine. We use it every day. The only thing that I have noticed since is the red button to lock it. Sometimes, if someone doesn't realize it and they took the chair down and they hit that red button by mistake because it's right on the side, then they can't get the chair back up because it's locked. So, we just had to be careful of hitting that on it.

Stannah's rep was a wonderful young man. He was thorough and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He was very personable. We were very pleased with him. We chose Stannah based on who did installations in the area where we live and lease options. Rather than purchase outright, we liked the leasing options. Stannah had great plans with the lease and buyback options within the first two years if we should no longer need the stairlift.

My mother-in-law is elderly and she could no longer do the stairs. I looked into a couple of other products, but what sent me to Stannah was I have a girlfriend who has a severely disabled child and she has installed three of their stairlifts. Going with Stannah was all based on her recommendation of the company and how easy they were to work with. They were very efficient in getting back to me. The gentleman they sent out to my home to talk to me about the stairlift was wonderful and answered all my questions. I can't say enough about them. They were great to work with. The installers were perfect. They had quoted us more hours than it actually took. They were in and out quickly and they cleaned up after themselves and left us in perfect hands. I was surprised at the time that they could do it.

I've heard a lot of good things about Stannah. We had someone come in and she took me through the pricing and measured the stairs and looked at the stairway and suggested what lift we need. I had done my research online. It was all very positive. There was no high-pressure sales pitch. It was, “You tell us what you need, and we'll help you pick the best pricing and everything in that regard.” We got the regular indoor straight stairlift. When we put it in, it looked clumsy but it fits. It blends right in. When you come into our front door, the stairway is right there to go upstairs, and it blends into everything. I go up and down the stairs regularly, and it's not cumbersome at all. It fits into the everyday living and the aesthetics of the house perfectly.

We have had a Stannah stairlift since we moved to Andover in 1989. I had two, I had one from the basement to the first floor, and one from the first floor to the second floor. When we moved to Tewksbury 12 years ago, we brought one with us and put it from the second floor to the attic. I had a new one put in from the first floor to the second floor. I have just been so pleased. I have recommended Stannah to two people, and they have both bought Stannah Stairlifts. The team at Stannah is great. As far as the quality of the stair lift, it's all quality. Every piece of it is top-notch. It's very easy to use. The only thing that I have a problem with is the little piece of carpeting or rug on the stair lift keeps coming up, and I keep gluing it down. Other than that, I could not be happier.

Jonathan came out and showed me the product, and I was thrilled with it. I needed it soon, and Stannah was able to do that. Jonathan was friendly but he was very professional. He came in and took the measurements of my stairwell, and then gave me the pros and cons of the different models. The only thing that I had to choose was the color of the seat. I went with a brown, straight stairlift with the extension that goes beyond the stairs themselves. Dwayne came to do the installation and he was very professional. He measured the stairs and brought in all the pieces that had to be built into the frame itself. It was pretty painless. They said it usually takes four to six hours, but he was done in three hours.

Stannah's chairlift was available to rent as opposed to buying it. A fine young guy came in, explained everything, and answered all my questions. He told me all the pricing and how everything works. That sounded fine and I said to go ahead and put in the chairlift. I had it put in last October for my bedroom going upstairs. The installer was a great guy and he was here for about an hour and a half. He did everything and made no mess at all. The chairlift is working perfectly and everything looks good.

The rep was kind and knowledgeable, and answered my questions. One gentleman came for the installation and he explained what he was doing. He was neat and cleaned up after himself. He demonstrated the controls and he had me practice them before he left. I appreciate the stairlift. I have a glass shop downstairs and I couldn't get down to it and the stairlift has allowed me to do my stained glass again. The experience with Stannah was very positive and I've told several people about it.

Stannah has great customer service and was easy to deal with. The sales rep was very nice, and the installer was very courteous and fast. Installation was easy, and the stairlift works really well and looks aesthetically pleasing in the house.

The reps were very nice and friendly. They came and took measurements, and I asked them if they could reduce the price. They said they will not under no circumstances. Three weeks later, they had to revisit the measurement because there was something wrong. But they even delivered two weeks ahead of schedule. In less than three hours, two people had the installation done. I'm glad I chose Stannah over others. The rep said they were not the cheapest because they have a good product. And they do have a good one. My wife and I sit very comfortably in the chair. It makes things easier going up and down the stairs. I’m very pleased with Stannah. I recommend the stairlift to anybody who's over 215 weight. Their tracks look professional and not like the other guy’s tracks, which look like something on a puzzle.

The sales rep came over to the house, sat down on my dining room table and discussed how the whole process works. We gave him a deposit right away. We got the straight indoor stairlift. The installer told me how to use it and how it worked. The stairlift is a little bit slow, but it worked great. Overall, Stannah seemed very professional.

The sales rep came in and asked us what we needed the stairlift for, where we wanted it and what we were looking for it to do. Then he explained how it would be installed and what the standard on one would be as well as what you could get for upgrades. He said we don’t have to do anything now. We can get the basic model and later on, if we wanna upgrade, it’s just the additional cost. So, he was very informative and helpful. On the day of the installation, the tech showed up on the time he was supposed to. We checked all the measurements and at that point, he realized that they mismeasured the track by about six inches. But he said it was not a problem. He called Stannah and they had another tech come out and bring a track that would fit. Meanwhile, he had everything else ready to go and then, he put the track.

The salesperson was very nice. We had a stairlift before. He knew of the brand and answered all my questions thoroughly and was accessible if I had any questions too. Installation went quick, and the person was quiet. Everyone was knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. I would recommend Stannah. Our experience was simple and painless, and the stairlift works very well. It's holding up.

The installers were nice. The stairlift works perfectly. We're all more comfortable with the person in my care using it to get up and down the stairs.

They installed the stairlift but it didn't work for us. We have a very old house and the area was too small. They came and took it out. They were very nice and gave us our money back.

The experience with Stannah was very easygoing. You make a phone call, they talk to you, they come out, and do what they got to do. They're professional and know what they're doing. They were very easy to work with and it was one, two, three, done. The installation was very smooth. We were iffy on which plug to use and what would be better, and the one that we thought we couldn't use was closer. So, they were very good about bringing an extra-long cord so that we could get it all set up and not be inconvenienced. But it ended up working out that it was not a dead socket. So, they were good.

Stannah has the best quality and a reasonable price, too. Our Stannah Stairlift was well installed. However, it took me almost nine months to get my first agreement to have a stairlift installed so that the installation happened. That was a little slow.

My sister-in-law did a lot of research on stairlifts for my father-in-law, and she found some competitors. She spoke with them. Then, she thought Stannah was good, so we reached out to Stannah, spoke with them, and had the sales rep come over. We wanted to take my father-in-law to a showroom to see if he can operate it. It's one thing to buy, to bring it, to have it, install it, but what if he doesn't use it? So, we took him there to make sure that it would fit his need. It was quite expensive in the sense it was double what we were thinking. We decided to go for it because it was the safest option. The thing I liked is they did not push us. After that visit to the warehouse, nobody even contacted us at all. I had to reach out to them to say, “Hey, we'd like to proceed.” So, I really did appreciate that. There's no pressure.

A salesperson came out and we had a lot of questions because of the configuration of the stairs. We went with a straight rail because of the timeframe. The custom rail was gonna take too long. After we ordered the straight rail, we decided we wanted to go with the curve. But we didn't wanna stop the curve from being installed, so we called the sales rep. She did not respond back in a timely fashion. We made multiple phone calls to her cell as well as the office and we weren't getting anywhere with that. Finally, the day before they were gonna do the installation, she called. That part was not ideal. It was such an unpleasant experience that we decided we would just stick with what we ordered and we did not upgrade to the custom one.

Stannah's sales rep was very informative, pleasant, and polite. He showed us the video and he was efficient. The installer was fantastic, too. We had one little problem and she figured it out. She said she had not seen that problem before and she was going to let the company know that there was some flaw in a wire that was not right. The installation took less than three hours and since then, our experience with the stairlift has been really good. We like the swivel on it and the remote control. We got the straight model and it's indoors. It helps us go up one flight of stairs and so far, the quality is there. But it costs a lot of money. Still, when my son-in-law inquired about it for his mother, I told him that it was the way to go.

Our son Kevin purchased a round stairwell for us. Their rep Tony was very nice and helpful. I had to call him back a couple of times and he was very courteous. The two people who installed it were fabulous and they worked hard. They never stopped and they cleaned up afterwards. The stairlift is very helpful for going up the stairs. I have very bad knees and my husband has even worse.

I got a straight stairlift from Stannah and it does okay. The rep was amazing. He took his time and did a good job, and he wasn’t pushy. It was a very good experience.

The service man that Stannah sent out was really good at what he did. He explained what he was doing and what the benefits were. He was very pleasant. He answered questions I had about it. There was one thing that I don't understand what I'm supposed to do with. He left kind of a key. I don't know where that goes and why. I'm very pleased with the stairlift. I don't use it all the time, but if I need it, it's there. It blocks my closet but if I leave it upstairs, I can get into the closet. It's the only way it could have been installed. So, now that I know I could keep it upstairs, I can get into the closet. Other than that, I like that it stopped when I put the pressure off. I've had experiences where I kind of fell asleep halfway through and it stopped. I also like the seat belt feature. I really like the payment plan that I'm not getting charged interest for not paying it all off right away. That was very helpful to me.

The installation went very well. It took three hours, and the stairlift is very good quality. We like the whole thing, and we'd be very positive to friends and invite them to come try it out. It's been very well.

I was studying Bruno when I came across Stannah. I called Stannah's phone number, and a very distinguished and proper salesperson, David, came to my home and explained to us. With the history of the company, the explanations of the advantages of Stannah, the fact that the products are made in England for many years, and the price was very similar to Bruno, I decided to try Stannah. So far, I have had it for a month. I'm very happy with it.

The installation of our Stannah was easy. Two guys came out and they were professional. They cleaned up and showed me how to operate it, and were out of here within four hours. At first, I was a little bit worried, because the stairlift looked flimsy, even though they say it will hold up to 350 lbs. But I rode it myself with them showing me the product and it is sturdy. I was given two remotes, one to keep at the top of the stairs, and one to keep at the bottom that I can use to bring my dad up and down. There are also the on-arm buttons, that if the person was independent, could bring themselves up and down without the remote. Unfortunately, it's not cheap and for elderly people who don't have finances, it's hard. Medical does not cover it. But they have a 0% finance offer that breaks up your payments over five monthly payments.

I got Stannah through ConsumerAffairs. I checked out their company and it works for me. I called up the guy and he was great. The installation was super smooth. The stairlift works well. So far, there's been no problem. I'm a contractor myself so I know good work and courteous people.

Stannah came and installed the stairlift. There was a demonstration. And the communication was straightforward. The stairlift has worked out perfectly for my dad. He likes it. It has made his life a lot easier.

Stannah Stairlifts' quote came out to be the most reasonable and with the most benefits as far as the stair lift. Also, they were the only company that could offer 5 point harness and told us if we get a curved stair lift, we have to build the extension to the kitchen. They would not install it, because it's a safety issue. Or if we wanted a retractable, it's on a straight stair lift. But with the price they provided on a straight stair lift, that electronic retractable rail was included. Otherwise, I would have to build that, but Stannah would say they would not install it until either this is in place or because of safety. I appreciate that.

We have some different friends and other people that have used stairlift. We decided between Stannah and one other company. Then we had the two companies come out. After weighing the pros and the cons, and what people had said about Stannah being the better of the two, we decided to go with Stannah. Everybody was excellent. We're still waiting for one custom chair to come in, but we've had two with the regular ones so far. We're not completely done with installation but so far, it's been fine. Everything was smooth and it's what we were looking for. We have to wait for the last one that is a custom one. Hopefully, that's gonna be as smooth.

My mother's aide had just gotten a Stannah stairlift for her own mother and she said she had a positive experience, so we decided to take her lead and ordered the stairlift for my mom. Will was our rep and he was wonderful and very informative. The installation went very quickly and well. Everything was explained thoroughly. We've enjoyed the stairlift ever since. My mother is enjoying it immensely. It took a load off of her. It was the best thing that we had done. My mom's life was renewed and she is able to get downstairs and go out again.

The Stannah stairlift is great. It's the best thing I ever did. I liked that the company was family-owned. It was local on Long Island. I didn't have to worry about them coming from another state, and I like their product. The rep was very good and the whole experience in itself. They were here. They did their job. They explained everything to me. Everything was perfect. I would recommend Stannah to anybody because they are very good.

I called Stannah and they came, measured, and gave me the quote. The salesman was effective. We took the six months, half price, and rental type routine. That would appear to be what we'll stick with. A gal then came to install it and was really good. The thing looks really decent. It's really neat and tidy. Stannah has been a great success. It works beautifully and it has allowed me and my wife to continue going upstairs to the shower. The grandchildren like it too. Go with Stannah. Their price seems reasonable and I like how it fits together. A number of folks have already commented on it. It's good.

Stannah's quality was the best. Their sales rep was informative and my experience with him was positive. The installation of the stairlift, on the other hand, was chaotic. There were two people from two different teams. One was complaining about the other. The one guy was openly arguing about, “I wouldn't have designed it this way.” They were messy and sloppy. One guy left. The work wasn't done to the other guy's satisfaction, so they couldn’t wait for him to leave. It was a comedy and it was terrible. You don't go to somebody's home saying it's one of your first jobs that you've ever done and then complain that the other guy was from another office and they do things differently.

The sales rep was good. He was very knowledgeable about his product. The installation was a good experience. However, post installation has not been a good experience. They're having trouble with the lift. There's a lot of different bumps. One technician came out, and I don't know that he had enough experience to really troubleshoot it. So he left. But we need someone else to come back in because there's a problem there that was not resolved. The stairlift is a very expensive piece of equipment. We have to call and make another appointment.

I had another company come prior to Stannah, and I was a little bit concerned about whether they could handle the curve at the top of our stairs. Then, a friend of mine in Washington, DC had called Stannah and was really very impressed with them and encouraged me to give them a call. The woman who came out was totally knowledgeable about their product. She's a longtime employee. The stairlift works very well. We're very satisfied with it. The quality is excellent. It's very convenient for my husband to get up to the second floor, which is where our bedroom is.

Everything was fine, with the exception of the salesman who was rather abrupt once he got us to sign. He was not truly transparent and honest as well. He didn't tell us that there were manual options, and he sold us the most expensive form they have, which is fine. We can afford it and it's excellent, but we would have at least liked to be given a choice. On the other hand, installation went very well. A woman who, normally, is in Vermont came, and she was excellent. She was polite, nice, and knowledgeable, and we were very pleased with the installation. It was well done and efficient. We love the product too. I used to be afraid to go down the cellar stairs. I was afraid I would fall. The Stannah stair lift is wonderful and very convenient. My husband can put a bag of trash on his lap and take it down. I would recommend it to any older people, or anyone who has trouble navigating.

Stannah Stairlifts' first visit was straight to the point which was nice. The rep did his measurements. He was very knowledgeable. Also, the installation was on time, quick, efficient, and very tidy. The guy installed the starlift, showed us how to use it, and left. It's a tight squeeze if the chair is in operation to walk past it. But when it's either up or down and folded, it's plenty of room. It's as advertised and what we're looking for.

I was most impressed with Stannah. I liked that they could put the stairlift in two days after I called. The installer was one guy and he did a great job. He came, did his job, and left. He showed me how to use the remote. My husband gets in and out, and it's not a problem. It's safer for him to use it to go up and down the stairs. It has worked out very nicely for us. Especially for me, since I couldn't do the stairs.

My friend's neighbor had recently purchased a stairlift and they were very happy with it, and we didn't go any further. Stannah got a good rating. We checked them on the internet and they're one of the top ones. When I called them, the rep came. He brought his tablet that he had pictures to show us, but we didn't care because we already knew about the stairlift. There was a problem during the installation that had something to do with the ADA requirements. We had to get an additional ramp because Stannah's legal department would not let them install the stairlift with the limited space we had at the bottom of the stairs. We looked at Home Depot and got the ramp they suggested. Then I called them, told them we had it and the installers came back. They installed the stairlift and it went flawlessly.

The rep was very pleasant. I told my husband I had a certain amount that I would accept. Other than that, I wasn't gonna get it. She came in close to that amount. When she measured, she explained things to us. I asked her if they have used ones and she said, yes, they do. She made sure the stairlift would fit the stairway. The gentleman who put it in recommended that we put it on the other side. He had to come back but they were all very knowledgeable in what they were doing.

The guy that came was great. He made me feel very comfortable. He was very respectful. Everything was explained and videos were shown. He helped me pick the right color and materials for my stairlift. The install guy was fantastic. After the installation, he took the time to contact his manager because it was making a little noise that he was uncomfortable with. He took care of that then took the time to show me a few times how to work it. I'm very pleased with the service. Having the Stannah stairlift, it feels so much safer more than anything. I can move around better. My mom is able to go upstairs and take showers. In many ways, Stannah has changed our lives. I gave their phone number to a friend of mine.

The rep addressed all the questions. He was great and I was very happy with him. The installation was smooth. The installer explained everything we needed and did a great job. I'm a little concerned that there is no safety mechanism at the bottom of the stairs to prevent the rail when it extracts from hitting someone. And we don't love the way it doesn't pivot fully at the top of the stairs into the stairway. It causes a little bit of a safety concern there as well. And I’m not happy that if the stairlift is left at the bottom of the stairs, it drains the battery quickly. But Stannah seems to be a good local company.

Stannah's sales rep was very good at what he was doing in terms of getting the price into a ballpark that we could afford. The stairlift seems to be very sturdy and we haven't had any issues with it. I've been using it most nights to get upstairs to bed so I can sleep next to my husband and it’s been working just fine. It is exactly what we'd hoped for and it's given me a lot of freedom, which I didn’t have before.

The sales rep came in and she was on time. She explained the process and we signed on with Stannah. She answered all the questions and did a good job. We got a curved stairlift. It goes up and turns a corner. Plus, we have an older house that had very wide staircase. So, it worked well for our situation. The installation team was very good, professional and didn't waste any time. They put it in and they were gone. It was very painless. They showed everything and told us to give them a call back if we had any problems. They explained that they will come back after a year and make sure everything's working right. The stairlift is great and very sturdy.

I needed a stairlift, and I had heard of Stannah and other places but a friend of ours has Stannah and he liked it. So, that made a large influence on my purchase. The Stannah rep who came was a woman, which surprised me. She installed the stairlift in the time that it takes. She did a good job. The stairlift seems to be pretty good.

Everything was fine when I purchased Stannah. They couldn't get the computer to work. So, they had to put in a refurbished chair. But they gave me a guarantee, like a new one. It works well. It serves its purpose. The quality is good. The servicemen were also nice and they showed me how to use it. I was very satisfied and I would definitely recommend them.

I liked this guy, Rich, from Stannah. I always have good vibes when I meet someone, and usually, my intuition is usually accurate. He came out and I said, "This is what I want. This is what I can afford. What can you do? And I want bottom line amount. I don't want ifs and maybes. I need to know because I need to plan." I was using a stairlift for my brother who lives in a group home, which I managed, and it was my expense, not the state. I was very upfront. He said, "Well, we can do a brand-new, we can do a refurbished." I said, "Are you gonna tell me your honest opinion?" He said, "Yeah, I will." So, I said, "Is it worth getting a refurbished or do you think I'm wasting my money and then down the road, I'm gonna have to replace it?" He said when they refurbish, they do a damn good job. I went with them.

I absolutely love Stannah Stairlifts. The sales representative explained everything. He measured, and he talked with my son. I just have one suggestion. They have the go button that you push, but what if somebody is left-handed? It's keeping my right hand busy all the time. It's my right hand so that it's even hard for me to take anything upstairs. If they had a button on both sides, it would be nice. The installers were right on the ball. They were done in about five hours.

Stannah's sales rep, David, was great. We got along famously. We got an indoor straight stairlift. It's perfect. It's not in the way at all and not an inconvenience. It works out perfectly. The installer was great, very quick, and very neat. Overall, all went very smoothly. The people from Stannah were very patient when we signed the papers to have it installed. They were very patient to wait until we were ready to do it.

Everybody was very polite and respectful and they understood my situation. Also, the installation went very well and the installer knew his job. The stairlift is reliable and it makes a difference because, otherwise, it would be impossible for me to go up and down.

At present time, I'm in very good health. However, I do not have a bathroom on the first floor of my home. I live alone and I recently saw what happens to someone who unexpectedly gets injured and can't go up and downstairs. So, I decided to be proactive and put in a stairlift. I had a Stannah salesperson came to the house. She was very professional and excellent. I was impressed with the way she explained the whole operation. She was very efficient. It was very quick and it was very good. The installer came when they told me they'd be here. It was one gentleman. He worked right along and was gone in about four and a half hours. I had errands to do and I asked him if he was comfortable being here alone. He said yes. So, I went off and did my errands.

I like my Stannah stairlift. I like the way the footrest went close enough to the stairs. The guy that came was good. He knew what he was talking about. He did what he was supposed to do. He explained everything to my husband so that he would be able to take care of it. So far, the quality seems good. I've had it for like a month.

The rep from Stannah communicated everything very well. The technician that came out was friendly, and he did everything like he's supposed to. He did it in less than the time he was supposed to did it. He thought he would take longer, but he didn't. He was good. He was nice to work with. I'm loving my stairlift, so far. I like the footrest. You push the button and it comes down and unfolds for you. I like the product overall. It's good. It goes up and down like I expected it to. I enjoy it. It helps my legs. It's hard to go up and down with my legs. So, I'm happy with it.

The Stannah rep is very good. He used to be the senior installer at the place in Foxborough. He knew exactly what he was doing. I originally got the stairlift for my wife. She uses it all the time. I use it once in a while.

The installation was wonderful. The techs called us the day before and told us the time they would come. Two men came exactly on the day they said they were going to come and did the installation. They were both very professional and true gentlemen. They went about their business very efficiently and quietly. The stairlift is a good-quality, well-thought-out product. An awful lot of engineering went into it. It's got a handle and a lot of different operations at the same time. It's gotta move at a certain rate, which has to slow up at certain points and then speed up. There is a transference of weight at a lot of several different places along the track. So, it's very sturdy and well-made. It's gonna last for a long time.

The rep was very thorough and did a great presentation and answered all of questions and concerns. He did a professional job. We were told it was gonna be a two-hour installation but it was more like four hours. Other than that, the installation went beautifully. There was no damage to any of our stairs. Stannah has better technology with rack and pinion drive systems other than chains. It's easier and cleaner. My dad uses the lift twice a day going up and down the stairs. He loves it. He goes, "Here we go flying into wild blue yonder.” It’s smooth and has easy access to get in and out of. He's very comfortable in it. When our friends come over, they wanna ride it too.

Stannah came out very quickly and answered all of our questions. The installation was shortly here thereafter. They explained everything to me well. Stannah has a good product. They're a good company, and I would recommend them.

The stairlift is great. The guy that put it in was very knowledgeable and courteous. The user told me he would recommend Stannah to anyone. That's how pleased he is. He also let me ride in it once and I liked it a lot.

The Stannah rep came to the house and explained all of the features of the stairlift and the safety features, how it works and how it would go on our stairs, and what it would be like when it was removed. It was all the things that you might wonder about if you were going to put something on your stairs. It was great. He answered all my questions without me having to ask them. The installation guys were great. They came and put the stairlift in. But there was one small glitch. They had the wrong chair. They had to come back with the right chair. But it was for my husband who wasn't yet home from the hospital, so it didn't delay our using it. They cleaned everything up.

From when we called them and then they came down, they had the stairlift installed within a week. They did the installation in one day. With the stairlift, I don't have to worry about falling down the stairs anymore. I like the convenience of the whole operation.

The rep had a superior demeanor and gave excellent information. I feel fairly positive about the stairlift but I still have some questions, like how it works and also how it's maintained correctly. I would also like something written rather than just explained.

We got a straight stairlift from Stannah and it fits in our stairwell very well. It's made life easier. The installation team couldn't have been nicer and the rep was wonderful.

David, the sales rep, was really good and very helpful. I called him one time and he had been on vacation but he got back to me and I thought that was really nice. The guys who did the work were really good also. Our home is old and it was privately built but the people who put the stairlift in did a good job dealing with what they had to work with. The stairlift fits well and it works really nice. It makes it easier for my mother to go up and down and makes it easier for me because I don't have to worry about her falling.

A sales representative came to the house where my family member lives and explained everything to me. He did a fine job. He answered all my questions. But the installation took a little longer than we expected. There was a component that the installers don't usually have to deal with that wasn't operating properly, so it took them a few hours longer than it otherwise would have. But the guys were great. They were very upfront about what the problem was. They communicated the problem to us and they told me it would take half a day. They were done in one day. I was happy with the installation process. They did what they said. We got what we paid for.

The installation was quick and easy. I like that if there's an item under the chair, it stops by itself. Also, once the chair gets already on top of the steps, it swerves around so my mother-in-law can get out. That's a good feature.

Stannah's sales rep did everything that he was supposed to do in a timely fashion. The delivery time was three months out because the stairlifts are made in England, which was a little inconvenient, but it was not Stannah's fault. For the installation, the guys were fabulous. They were courteous and they explained everything. The stairlift is an expensive product, but it's worth it.

We had someone from Stannah and Acorn come. Both of them made a lot of sense but the Stannah made more sense. It seemed to be better in a lot of ways so we went with that. I liked the way that it would fit in better and everything worked out well. We were more impressed. One gentleman came for the installation and did a great job. It was painless. I thought it was gonna be such a lot of stuff going on. But everything is great.

I had the straight Stannah stairlift installed and the quality seems very good. The sales rep was informative.

The rep with Stannah was thorough. The installer was very thorough too. We've been very pleased. We like the stairlift. It came at the right time because I'm having a lot of trouble getting around now. There's no way I would have gotten in and out of the house. However, when we get partway up, the stairlift bumps a little bit. I don't know whether it's supposed to do that or not but it doesn't hurt anything. Another thing is we're on the automatic payment plan and I don't know if I'm allowed to pay extra.

Tony, the Stannah salesman, was really good. He was positively and absolutely the reason why I bought the stairlift. He was precise and accurate. He really cared about what he was doing. He cared that I got a good staircase and that it was the right everything for me. But Tony said to me, “This chair is going to take three months for us to make you have turns and curves. If you call us every week and ask us to rush it, we can't.” He said, “I'm being honest with you so you won't be frustrated down the line thinking if you hunt and call, it'll come quicker. ” I had curves. I also had dirty wall-to-wall carpeting on there. I said to him, “I need to put new carpeting in.” He gave me all the correct advice. The installation went perfectly too because of him. The installers that they sent couldn't have been nicer, cleaner, and more helpful. They were wonderful.

When I spoke with the salesperson who came to the house to explain about the stairlift, he was extremely knowledgeable. He was not pushy, and he explained exactly. The install was fabulous too. The young man knew exactly what he was doing, and he was in and out. We made conversation and he explained specifically the way to do it and what the lights and numbers meant. I had a very positive experience, and the stairlift is great. It's quite sturdy, and it serves its purpose. I can go up and down the stairs much easier now. I have better mobility.

The sales rep with Stannah Stairlifts was excellent. He explained the product and the different offers they had, and I understood it well. They were very considerate. They worked with me along the way. Even though I canceled twice, they still came back and did what they had to do. The seat has a very good quality. The only thing I have a problem with is the footrest folds, the arms fold, but the seat does not fold. It's almost $3,000 for it. I'm also wondering if there's a way that you can switch it off and on because it constantly stays on all night when it's not being used. It consumes a lot of electricity. There's a $20 extra on my electric bill that came. Another thing is I need information on my payment. This morning when I went to check, the money was taken from my bank account. They could at least give me a notification to alert me that this amount will be taken from my bank account.

My wife and I are both 84 years old. We've been going up and downstairs more or less all right, But with the days and times, it's getting harder and harder to go up the stairs. I thought, “Maybe we ought to get some assistant for those days that it isn't as easy and before it gets to the point where we just gotta have the thing all the time.” That was the impetus to purchase a stairlift. I looked on the internet and just four people in this area would sell that sort of thing. One of them was Stannah. The installers did their job cleanly, neatly, and accurately. They were very professional about it.

Michelle from Stannah Stairlifts has been amazing. She came and did the stair lift assessment before the installation. There was some miscommunication. It's hard because I'm not there at my dad's house, so I don't know what's actually going on. But every time I've called Michelle, she has been responsive and helpful. I had to install the stairlift for my dad, and he has been complaining that the stair lift stops in the middle often. It seems like it's not that reliable. It could be my dad is not using it correctly, but they should be designed for an incompetent person to use. Also, the stairlift is slow. But as long as he's getting up the stairs, that's fine. He's starting to just live upstairs, so that has been great. I get phone calls from him regularly about it not working, and, "Oops, I just needed to push a button." I appreciate its affordability, but if it's not reliable, we're interested in an upgrade.

The first rep that I talked to at Stannah Stairlifts was very good and not overly pressuring. I called him back four weeks later to say that we were interested and we had a good relationship. For the installation, a lady came out and she was awesome. She worked hard quietly and got it done in under two hours, even though she projected it might take three hours. She also had a great personality. So far, my wife seems to use the stairlift a lot and it works out well.

Our stairs turn, and the man that came out to do all the measuring had to put out these pieces of paper and take pictures. He explained everything, including about the price and how it would be done. The engineers had to make the stairlift so that it would go up the curved stairwell, then it took about two months to get here, which is a little earlier than Stannah said it would. They installed it in six hours and demonstrated it. Everything was great, and we're very pleased.

The rep was here. He's a good representative with Stannah Stairlifts. He did a fantastic job. We're very satisfied with the installation. One of my neighbors will call Stannah to put in the same setup as mine.

A young fellow came for the installation and he worked all day and did a good job. I'm thankful for that. Then, another young fellow came later on towards the evening to give him a hand for an hour or two before they finished. He was a gentleman.

The installation was fantastic. It was a one-person crew. She finished in three hours. The stairlift has been very helpful. My elderly mom and stepdad like that it's easy to use. And they know that they would have a way to get up the stairs in the future. I appreciate the good work and Stannah Stairlifts seems like a good company.

The track that the chair runs along won't come up automatically like it should as the chair goes up so that it's not hanging out at the bottom of the stairs. This is the second time that happened. When the guy came the first time, he said they may have to replace the motor, which I can't understand on a brand-new stairlift. But otherwise, it's okay. I don't like that the stairlift is visible, though. I wish it went around the corner so that it could hide, but that's a lot more money. Also, when the chair comes down, it beeps constantly until I send it back up and I don't understand why I have to do that. If I'm gonna be downstairs in my kitchen for a while, I don't wanna have to send the stairs up and then have them come down again to get me.

There's plenty of room on the stairlift. It also works fine. It goes up and it goes down. It's great.

The sales rep of Stannah was good. Had absolutely no problem with them. The only problem was that there were a lot of delays in getting the stairlift built and shipped but I don't think that was their fault. But it fits really well. The quality is also good. Their customer service was good too. There were a couple of parts that they didn't have when they installed it. And those parts came in. They called me they were in. They came and installed the part that they had left out.

I went back to a Stannah stairlift and the work people were fine. They put the stairlift in and showed me how to use it. Everything was great.

The installer mounted the remote at the bottom of the stairs on the wall in a very convenient place. But up on the second floor, he didn't mount it. He just left it loose on a piece of furniture. I didn't know whether he forgot to do it or there was a reason for that. The other thing is when I get to the top of the stairs and press the button to close up the footrest, it doesn't go quite all the way. It needs a little adjustment. But the installer was terrific. He cleaned up and had me test the stairlift. I like everything about the Stannah stairlift.

Stannah was the most affordable. The others that we had quoted were a few thousand dollars more. The stairlift was installed for my parents and they use it on a daily basis. Their staircase is not a full straight staircase. It goes up, there's a platform, and there's a turn. You then go up another set of stairs. I needed a system that would go up around the platform and do a 90° turn then go up another staircase. Stannah's system seemed to work well for what we needed to do. This stairlift has made it a little bit better and a little bit safer for my father to go up and down. We had a system before and it was two units. He had to go up, get off the chair, go onto the platform, get onto another chair then go up again. The Stannah one is an all one unit.

There was no pressure from their salesman. He just told me what they had. I asked if they offered used equipment for sale and he showed me what the used equipment was. I chose that and the installation was sweet and smooth. The techs were wonderful and I was in awe of their installation. But the older model I had is much easier than the current one. The footrest should automatically ascend when you lift the armrest. With this footrest, I was given a warning not to kick it up on my own. If I did, I would end up breaking the gears and I didn't want to do that. That prevents me from using the footrest.

I like that Stannah's footprint is a little bit slimmer so that the other people have enough space to use the stairs. I like Stannah's mechanism. I also read about it earlier and I saw that people also said it last long time. I sometime get impatient that the stairlift takes so much time to go upstairs, but I don't think it is Stannah's fault. I have seen other stairlift and they do the same thing. They're probably some kind of regulation to make it safe. So I decided that I have to be more patient and use it. Its performance is nothing extraordinary, but it is what I expected it to be.

Stannah's rep was excellent, and the installers were very professional, very kind, and answered all my questions. I got a curved stairlift from them and it fits my home very well. But if I want to buy a refrigerator, the stairlift is going to be in the way if I try to bring the refrigerator up to the second floor. Other than that, I purchased the stairlift for my mom and she's very pleased with it.

The representative that came to my mother's house was wonderful. The gentleman that installed the stairlift was respectful, patient and clean. He did a wonderful job. I would use Stannah again. The type of service that was provided and the way they treated my mother was white-glove throughout. They were exceptional. I'm hoping they'll call me to ask if I want to buy it or if I wanna continue renting it. If they could call me before we make that decision, that would be wonderful.

My neighbor had Stannah and recommended it. I got a curved stairlift from them too. A rep came and explained it to us. He also did measurements. He was very good and nice. The stairlift is as good as it could for the spot that it had to go in. The installers were fine. But when the stairlift got to the top of our stairs, it doesn't fit right. They're making another one to replace it. Other than that, it works fine. It was good for me but wasn't good for anyone that didn't have to use the stairlift. It was hard to get to the top. Where the chair landed at the top, there wasn't enough room to get by it to get to the hallway. They're extending it more into the hallway so it clears the stairway.

Stannah is a name that's been around for so long that I trusted them that's why I went through them. I needed a way to get my ill wife immediately from the garage, which had a four step difference into the house. That's why I went with a stairlift. A rep came and he was top shelf. He was a young gentleman and he was really nice, prompt, and knew the product inside and out.

We had Stannah come in to give us the pitch and liked it. I had them done on two staircases. The first floor to second floor, and the first floor to the basement. They did it all in a day. They were here from nine in the morning till three in the afternoon. They got them installed, and it's very unobtrusive. You have this thing going down the staircase but it doesn't bolt into the wall. They anchor them into the different stairs. Also, the way it docks and plugs right into a regular outlet is very unobtrusive. The stairlift can be taken out. As a matter of fact, they said, “If you even have furniture that was coming in and going out, they'll come and disassemble this for a nominal charge and then put it back in. The stairlift is user-friendly. My wife uses it. She has Parkinson's on top of that horribly arthritic knees, and so she needs this to get up and down. We've had them now since November 1st and they are great.

The gentleman, when he came out, was very patient in explaining everything and very thorough. I like the idea of I don't have to lift my father up and down the steps. Also, the stairlift is very easy to figure out. Even my daughter who’s 12 can do it. The five-year-old manages it as well.

Stannah was the better one that we have for around here. They would also be able to get it done faster than their competitor. Their rep explained everything, He was able to give us a price and a timeframe. The stairlift fits fine. We're able to walk around it. And it's compact when not in use.

I looked online and Stannah was local and they were pretty high on the list of some of the best stairlifts and service. I could have got some other stairlifts or something cheaper, but then I had to get somebody to come in and install it for me. Whereas with Stannah, they have technicians there, and it's local. If I have a problem with it, I can give them a call. I can get it repaired. Also to me, Stannah has a better quality than some of the other ones that are out there, and the features are nice. It's easy to operate, too. I was satisfied.

I wanted an elevator but there would have been too much destruction to the house. My house is about 80 years old and we have a secondary stairwell, and I wanted it in the rear stair but it wouldn't fit. It was too big for there. But the installation was easy and terrific. The people who installed it were very kind and easy, and kept me apprised. I was here the whole time and it was about three hours. I don't need the stairlift yet but my children felt that it would be anywhere from two and a half to three months to order it and have it produced, so they wanted to have it for me when I needed it. But I have teenage grandchildren and every one of them as well as my own children have tried it out. It's fine.

The Stannah Stairlifts salesman I spoke to when I made the call came over promptly. Also, the installer was a good guy. Very good procedure. He took one day. We loved the stairlift.

The rep from Stannah was wonderful, explained everything to me, measured everything, and gave me multiple options, and ideas on how to pay for the stairlift. The installers were awesome. They did it very quickly. They explained everything and it works wonderfully.

The only complaint I had with Stannah is we did the order in August, and it took them until October, but we had a staircase that didn't go straight up, so they had to make it for our staircase. So, I understand that. The people who came in were absolutely wonderful. They installed the chair. It was really wonderful. I like the way they installed it. I have used it a couple of times when, in the morning, sometimes my legs don't cooperate. I'm 80 years old. It's safer to go down on the chair. So, I'm glad I went ahead and had it installed.

I had some people come and give me prices, and I liked Stannah's price better. I like the way the stairlift was built. It looked like a better-built item than the ones I was looking at. The installation was very quick. The two men that came here were very well organized, and they informed us how to operate it. They said if something happens, in case of emergency or we lose power, the batteries will back it up. They informed us of safety points. My wife sat in it, and they made sure she knew how to operate it and was well satisfied with the installation. The ride is not as smooth as I thought it would be because of the gears, but they said eventually, it should break in.

The sales rep from Stannah was good. We had two stairlifts installed, one was a straight one, and one was a curved one. They could be cheaper, but they are perfect as expected. I'm very satisfied.

My husband had a severe accident and couldn't get up and down the stairs. So, we talked to some companies, and Stannah had the nicest salesman. He was the most informative. He did an excellent job. He told us everything we needed to know, answered all our questions, and got back to us when we had questions. He was right on time with everything. He was very easy to work with and seemed to really know what he was talking about.

I liked Stannah's lifetime warranty and the other ones, you had to do two sections. This was one section. The price was the most competitive, too. I spoke to somebody on the phone, then the installer came and installed it. Everything was done well.

Going with Stannah was more economical for me. The gentleman I dealt with was very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave me all the information that I needed. The installers were very professional and nice. They came in and put the stairlift together very quickly. I was riding right afterward. They told me how it works and gave me all the bells and whistles on it. I got it then. The quality is excellent. It's money well spent for a person like me when you’re shut in and can't move around. Now, I have use of my whole house. I can come up and down the stairs.

When we called Stannah, they were more responsive than other providers. We called other companies and they were more difficult to deal with and get a return phone call. Also, customer service was better. The reps were more personable and they answered our questions immediately. The weakest link was the installation team but they got the job done. But what should have taken the tech two hours took him an entire day. He didn’t seem to know what he was doing as well as he should have. Other than that, the final product was installed and is operational.

We were happy with the service and the product. The tech did the measurement and three months later, he showed up and had it installed. It has been very helpful. Customer service has been great.

The reps were very pleasant on the phone. There was no pressure and they were helpful. They answered my questions. Their installer, Jennifer, did a very nice job. She explained everything to us. She had me and my wife test the stairlift. It's very useful and convenient to to us and it's holding up very well. We use the remote control a lot.

The sales rep was fine. My only issue was that it took so long to get the stairlift. Other than that, the two installers went right to work and they were excellent. I'm enjoying the stairlift.

Overall, the experience has been great. Paul was the person from Stannah Stairlifts who came to my mother's home that I spoke with. He was helpful and informative. Great customer service. And the installation went smoothly. My mother was happy with it.

The Stannah Stairlifts rep was a nice guy. The stairlift helps her way she has to climb the stairs. It helps her in every way. The quality is good.

The techs had to come here and measure with laser stuff. They came with masks and whatever mess they made in the process was completely cleaned. Everything was restored to the way it was before they arrived. In some spots, our stairwell was narrow and they had to deal with making sure I had enough space to walk. They did a fine job with the installation. In the end, they made sure that the chairlift worked. The functionality and performance is top-notch. It's not cheap, but if you need it, you need it. If anybody were looking to install one, I would recommend Stannah. I'm glad I did it.

I called many places about the stairlift but I didn’t get the answers that I wanted. It would take too long to install. I called Stannah and told them my predicament. I needed that stairway put in in one week. Everybody I spoke to was wonderful. They were understanding, especially in the predicament I was in. Mel was the one I was dealing with. She went right to town, called me back, and said to just tell them what color. The two people that were here for the installation were great. They cleaned up anything if anything got on the rug. The Stannah stairlift is wonderful. It's reconditioned but it works like brand new. They have a good guarantee on it. It's the best thing we put in the house. I come in with groceries. I put a bag on there and I follow it up. I don’t have to lug the bag up.

Stannah was great. They had a representative come out and explain the whole spiel before I booked it. She was very good. The stairlift fits perfectly. The guy who did the installation was the best. However, the user doesn't feel safe using the stairlift by herself. I have to be present for her to use it.

Rich was the guy from Stannah that came to the house. He explained how the stairlift worked, where it would go, what it would cost, and what the warranty was. So, other than not being able to ride in one, I knew everything about it when he left. The installers were there for a couple of hours. They put it all together. And when they were done, they showed me how to use it. They did a great job. The stairlift gets me up and down the stairs. It works. And it's not as noisy as I thought it would be. Stannah is certainly are a highly rated company and it seems to be a good warranty.

I don't know of a better salesman than their rep Tony. The only negative was that the installers had to take two of the railings down. I used to have a railing on both sides of my stairs and now I just have it on one. But I've been using the chairlift so the railing doesn't matter at this point in time. Also, I bought a used chairlift but it looks brand new.

The sales rep was very knowledgeable. Their communication was easy to understand. The installer even offered to get the grease stains from the previous installation off the wall. They cut around the carpet so it would be really easy to reupholster it going down the stairs. They were very thoughtful and warm personality-wise. The stairlift is good. It's a refurbished unit but it does everything that it's supposed to do. It's holding up fine.

The sales rep from Stannah was a nice and pretty cool guy. He was polite. I knew about the product because I was searching the internet but he said, “Any more questions, just give me a call.” He gave me his business card. The product is a good-looking chair. It looks good quality. My mother likes it. It makes life easier for her.

At first, I didn't really like Stannah. They never had any flyers to tell me about the prices. It seems like they kind of hold the prices off the top of their head. There was never any hard numbers or brochure saying, “This is what it costs.” I didn't like the salespeople and I think I could have done better somewhere else on the price. The installing guy was the best. He was an older gentleman. He was very knowledgeable. His work was impeccable in the installation, the cleanliness, how he cleaned up everything, and how he explained everything. He stayed here until we were very comfortable with it. We like our stairlift.
