I like the way they stand by their products and their maintenance policy. Their reps were also lovely people and quiet.

The Stannah rep was very pleasant. The installation went fine, too. I thought there might be a problem because I live in a very old house. But none at all. They just zapped it in and told my husband how it works. I like the stairlift. However, I'd like it to be cheaper.

The Stannah rep was very knowledgeable. He showed a video. Explained it to the wife. The installers were also very professional and clean. It's a very nice stairlift. Works well. We're very pleased with it. It's made getting up and down the stairs a lot easier. I love it and it was worth every penny.

We went out and asked for bids from several different stairlift companies. Most of them seemed to be behind the curve in terms of what they were offering from a technology standpoint and from an aesthetic standpoint. All in all, we decided to go with Stannah and that was when I was in Massachusetts. We installed three stairlifts on our home in Massachusetts. Then I have a curved one going into Florida. So far, so good. They put the order in and I approved the design. The sales guy was very helpful. The installation people were excellent, too. It looks really nice and functions really well. It's overall a good experience.

Stannah's sales rep and installer were wonderful. They really cared about what they were doing. They cared about the situation we were dealing with, with the mobility issue in the family, and they did a great job explaining everything. They went over it a couple of times to make sure. There wasn’t any kind of crazy pressure from the salesperson to buy something that would have been impractical, especially at a point where you're just starting off with a stairlift. It was only for a small area. So, that was very helpful. I didn't feel like I was being scammed or conned into anything. Being a caretaker, I deeply appreciated that. As far as the stairlift, it's really good.

The installers of our Stannah stairlift were very good and clean. They did a nice, neat job and took a bunch of hours. It was one guy, and then came the second one somewhat into the project.

I had a wonderful experience with Stannah. The salesman had a fellow with him that was in training. The two of them couldn't have been more professional. When the installer came to install it, it couldn't have been nicer. We’re very happy with everything. We got a refurbished stairlift and it's perfect. The quality is very nice. It doesn't even look used. The stairlift has impacted my husband’s life 100%. Much safer for him. Even when it's at the top of the stairs, you can still go by it and get up and down if you’re walking.

The installation of our Stannah Stairlift was perfect. The technician showed me everything that I needed to know to operate the stairlift. In case I had trouble, gave me information on that. The technician was very courteous and the installation went by very quickly. He cleaned up everything that that was there, including our steps. I was surprised by how well everything went. The sales rep was also very knowledgeable. He gave me quotes on exactly what I needed. He told me about the refurbished models and the new models. He told me about renting it or buying it, the options there. He also measured everything. Those two days were very good. I’m so glad that I went with Stannah. The stairlift is very useful. We’ve used it so many times already. It's quiet and efficient. I don't think we could have had a better piece of equipment anywhere.

The salesperson of Stannah was good at going over everything with us on what was going on. It’s also not that hard to install. At first, it took a little for my mother to get used to, but she likes it. Otherwise, she was out of breath when she'd go up the stairway, and now she isn't. She’s 93 so it takes a while to get everything down. It’s easy for her to do. The only issue I'd say is the way it swivels at the end, it's a little stiff. But she's mastered it, but probably could be a little easier.

The Stannah salesperson was a fine young woman. The service people were good too. The stairlift not only saves a great deal of my wife's energy, which is key but, even more importantly, it’s a safety feature. She really can’t be managing stairs. However, when I go to put it up the stair in a neutral position, the arm falls down. I have to go up and reset it. It needs a little adjustment, which I don’t have time to deal with.

The Stannah sales rep was convincing. The installation of the stairlift was also smooth. There was one lady who came in in the morning and she did the whole thing. She was done by 1:00 pm. Very impressive. My mother uses the stairlift every day. She’s now getting used to hopping from one stairlift to the other stairlift. Overall, I’d give a big thumbs up. I didn't factor in the time I needed to investigate and put the type that I wanted at home. But they really helped in the process and they were really quick. No delays on their side.

The rep did everything and went over everything with me. He gave me a couple of different options. We went with what I thought was the best and it’s great. It's doing everything it was said, and I couldn't be happier with it. Stannah did a wonderful job, and I love the product.

Stannah was awesome. The guy who sold it and the guy who installed it were really great guys, and I really liked them a lot. Installation went great, very smooth, and the installer took his time. He forgot one part, and I said, "Just come back the next time you're in the area." He said, "No, no. I finish the job when I do it." He went out and it took him over an hour to go and come back 'cause it was far away. Still, he was awesome, and he made sure we understood how to use the stairlift. There's some glitch with it that sometimes it doesn't work and we need to restart it, but other than that, it's great. It's given my husband independence, and we're really excited about it. We're glad we got it.

The Stannah Stairlifts rep explained everything thoroughly. One installer came. He installed the stairlift, and it ran fine. It's a nice unit. But we have had a problem since. It had a few bumps in it. It had noises. Someone came the other day and fixed it. It was a minor type thing. We’re satisfied after what we've had in a month. The stairflift has made it easier on my husband.

This Stannah chair is very comfortable but sometimes, when it comes down, if I don't put it in park-like, it keeps making that beeping sound and I cannot leave it down for a minute because that beeping sound keeps going. I don't like that part. Other than that, the stairlift helped me a lot to go up to the bedrooms. I'm satisfied and happy with it.

The sales rep sat down with me, explained everything, and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable going with her in-home visit. The two guys who put the stairlift in, Eric and Nate, also did a great job. Eric was showing Nate what had to be done and Nate was learning. But he was really good. They were clean and fast. Plus, they showed us when they were done. I'm very happy with our Stannah stairlift and it has really helped with getting my husband up and down stairs. It made life easier for him.

The installation of our Stannah stairlift went smoothly. Their reps came by and gave my parents a lesson, so that was good. It's expensive, but it seems to work. The goal was to get something that would safely let them get up and downstairs, and they've been able to do that. But there's a missing decorative part that I need to call about.

My mom and I met with Stannah's reps and she liked that the tracks are not exposed to the dust. During the installation, we were told that it would take two to four hours, but the installers were done in about three and a half. It was a very simple installation. I'm an electrician and I put a plug-in for them so they didn't have to run a cord in an unsightly manner. Everything looks clean and neat, and nothing is banged up or gouged. We were very happy with the installation and the people that we dealt with during the install as well as the salesman.

The installers were fantastic, very professional, and organized. They were in and out and there was no craziness. Our stairlift works great and my Dad loves it. Stannah is the way to go. But we had to jump through six hoops to get signed off of the paperwork that we were having the stairlift put in for medical reasons and not cosmetic to get the taxes waived. And when you're talking about that kind of money, it's a significant tax credit. So, that was the biggest pain in the butt about the whole process but it had more to do with the federal government than anything else.

The rep explained everything and did a very thorough job. He was also very polite and we were very happy with him. We bought the straight stairlift and it's fitting our stairway very well. It's a very narrow stairway, and as long as we have the foot rest, the seat, and the armrests up, I can get by it easily. The stairlift works perfectly, too. It's a little slow, but you can't have a racing thing going up and down your stairs.

We were looking to get an elevator this time because the staircase is very narrow but it's a lot more expensive for an elevator than the stairlift. So, we got two stairlifts, one for each level of the stairs, because it's very tight and it worked out good. Everything was done timely. A guy came in and spent the whole day working on it because it was a complex system with the two separate stairlifts. My wife uses the Stannah stairlift. It was extremely difficult to get her upstairs. Now, she can come up whenever she wants. So, it gives her a lot more freedom and flexibility. The quality and design are excellent. We were happy with the previous one as well. We haven't had any problems with the new one so far.

I got a straight stairlift and it fits very good on the stairwell. It has helped my life a lot. The guy who installed it was here for four hours and he was very nice. So, it went well.

The rep from Stannah explained everything thoroughly. The stairlift goes straight up and then pivots at the top. The system is good.

The reps did a good job. They were professional and knew exactly what they were doing. They did the installation fairly quickly. We did a swivel top and bottom and it's a little tight in the stairwell, but they only had but so much room to work with. I wish the stairlift was a little smaller. Getting past it sometimes is not easy but it works fine.

It was a spectacular experience with Stannah from my phone call interactions with the sales team to my visit to the showroom. They were wonderful to work with. I had an in-home visit by the same person from the showroom and he was awesome. We love the stairlift. It's worked like a charm. It's worked as it was intended to. The quality is seamless and we hope it continues to maintain the quality that it's shown so far. It makes absolutely no noise, which was a concern going in. It is so user-friendly too. It's made a world of difference in our lives ‘cause now my mom has mobility that she needs to get up and down and get around the house.

I liked that the product is made by Stannah and not outsourced to an outside company. I also liked the availability of the product. A gentleman came out, reviewed the options, came up with a quote for us on the spot, and set something up a couple of weeks later. The installation was quick and efficient. The stairlift seems to be doing what it's supposed to do.

I had a very good experience with Stannah Stairlifts. They have very friendly workers. I found Stannah to be much better than the others price-wise and the way they conduct their business. The installation went very well. The stairlift looks brand-new even though we bought a used one. You would never know that it was used. I will highly recommend Stannah.

Stannah's sales rep and installation team were very professional, pleasant and easy to talk to. I had no idea that the work could be completed so quickly. The stairlift failed a couple of times, but by reading their little booklet and by understanding how it works a bit, I was able to get it going without calling anybody. It's worked perfectly the last few days. The only thing is the way it's marketed. I was not told that there was an additional thing I could do for quite a bit of money. It's $500, which automates the turning of the device when it reaches either the top or the bottom. It was not mentioned from the start. The saleswoman who came out did not say anything about it whatsoever. We discovered it.

When they installed, I paid for an upgrade because I told them, "I'm a tall drink of water, so I need height as well as width." They gave me the width, but they didn't do the height. Then, the rep says, "It may cost you $199." I said, "I bought it and I paid 1,200 or 1,300 for an upgrade. Now, you're going to hit me for $200 to adjust the seat that should have been done at the beginning?" She said, "Weren't you there?" I said, "No, I was in the hospital." They better not charge me because I won't pay for it. I'm upset about it. They have a good reputation and they did a good job installing it. All of a sudden, they're nickel and diming me to death.

The rep and crew of Stannah were very good. I like the stairlift very well. However, I have an unfavorite feature. We have a split-level and we have to because we didn't have enough room and a little landing to put one that went around the corner. So, we have two pieces. The bottom one, when it's downstairs here, it blocks the way to the garage. It continually beeps. I would love to get that beep turned off because there's only the two of us, there's no reason I have to send it back up the stairs and bring it back down when I want to use it.

Stannah was very professional, quick. and not bureaucratic at all. Our stairlift has been installed for three months now and it works very well.

The installation went well except the techs spilled a bucket of paint on my carpet. Now I'm in the position of having to get estimates to get it cleaned up. But other than that, it went fine. The chairlift has already broken once and it was a little annoying that the person who came to fix it said that there's dust on the rail and that could interfere. But with a handicapped person at home, he didn't even bother to clean up the dust, which would have been pretty simple. Other than that, they fixed it promptly.

I got a straight stairlift from Stannah and it works. It does its job.

I'm very satisfied and happy with Stannah, and I got the whole family going up and down. We love the stairlift. It's very comfortable.

We were not happy with the installation of our Stannah stairlift. We ordered it on February 16th. It was delivered in the middle of April to be installed. Someone had mismeasured it, and so, they couldn't install it. They then said it was gonna be another four to six weeks to get it manufactured. It took about eight weeks. I was told originally the chairlift was gonna be installed the day after it arrived here. Then they scheduled it for about a week after that. One person gave us one date for the installation. I had someone waiting for four hours for them to install. I finally got through to them and they said, “Oh, no. We had you on for the following day.” So, it was not a good experience.

My Stannah stairlift is very good and handy and easy to operate. It's very good to have. I'd have to crawl up the step if I didn't have it. When I come home, all I do is sit on it and ride up the stairs. I like its stability.

Stannah came, installed the curved stairlift on time, and gave me six months to pay the full balance. They were very nice young people. They came in, did their job and left. It's a sturdy stairlift.

My experience with Stannah Stairlifts was very good. It’s been two weeks since the stairlift was installed, and I like it very much. It gets me in and out of the house. I live in a second floor apartment, and it gets me up and down my main stairs. It serves its purpose for what I need it for.

Stannah Stairlifts was great. The sales rep was very professional, and the installation, which took a couple of hours, was perfect. The stairlift is spectacular, and now, I don't have to walk up the stairs.

We checked on the internet and compared Stannah with something else, and Stannah was better. We had one installed and it was okay, but the railing was in the way. I asked them if I could remove it, and they said, “There's no need.” By not removing the railing, they lost five inches of space and they had to come back later because when I was coming on the top, my knee was not making it through the door there. If the railing was removed the first time, it would have been better. Apart from that, the stairlift looked good and I'm very happy with it. I've already talked with two people about it, and I showed it to them and let them try it. My son also put in a stairlift, but it's made in China and it was only one year warranty.

When I was searching for a chairlift for my mom, I looked up a bunch of places and found Stannah online. They had been in business for a long time, and their warranty was pretty good. I called them, and everything went smoothly. We had a very pleasant experience, and we love the chairlift. It makes life more convenient for my mom. It gets her in and out the house, which is exactly what it’s supposed, and there's no anxiousness. She feels safe.

The stairlift works great. Once I use it, I'm able to fold it up and turn it to the side so the stairs can be used by my wife and other people. The installer was terrific. He did a great job in installing it and sitting down and explaining everything about it. The stairlift was very quickly installed and neatly too. It was done the way I wanted though I would like it to be a little closer to the wall. I'm pleased with the stairlift. I have spinal stenosis. I was able to get up the stairs, but it was very difficult and painful. The stairlift has alleviated an awful lot of that. It's made it very simple. When we shopped and I had to carry our bags, or when I do laundry and carry that up, that was a problem. Now, it's not.

The salesman was very nice and helpful. He took his time. There was no rushing and pressure. He gave me a bunch of options to look at. It was a very good interaction. The installer was here exactly at the time he said he would be here. He went about his business in my basement. The chairlift was put in to get from the first floor of our ranch style house down to the basement so that I could get my wife to the car. At any rate, he took care of business.

The sales rep was wonderful and he did a great job. He was tremendously knowledgeable. The stairlift is very nice.

My experience has been very good. We put a second stairlift in so now, I have access to my basement where we put all of the extra cooking things. The stairlift for the basement is more high-tech so it's a bit more confusing for me. It has the lift part at the bottom, the railing lifts up. So, if somebody is delivering salt for our water system, they don't trip over it. That was a bit expensive, but it was a necessity. Also, I have to push the button to send it 'til the bottom rail resets itself before it'll stop beeping if I have a few minutes of activity that I have to do downstairs.

The installation of our Stannah stairlift was fine. He was here. He did it in one day. I'm a little bit disappointed because I keep getting error messages and there have been a couple of times where my husband had to walk up the stairs because I couldn't get the chair to move. So, there are some definite glitches but for the most part, it does work. The quality is fine. It looks very sturdy. It's holding up.

We needed a stairlift, so I called Stannah. They have been around so long, and their reputation was so good. Their reps did a great job. They came in and did everything they said they’d do. The installation was very efficient. The stairlift works fine. It's very nice. My wife likes it. She’s happy with it. It's helped her a ton because she couldn't go up and down the stairs. We would have to move her bedroom downstairs. I'd recommend Stannah to anybody.

During the sales visit, the woman showed me all that she measured. She told me what the price would be in different options for paying it and the different styles that could happen. We decided on the one that was most cost effective for us. The installation went great, fast and easy. I liked the Stannah stairlift. It satisfies our needs completely. It allows my husband access to the outside.

We have an upside-down house, meaning that the living area and the bedrooms are upstairs and stairs down to the ground level, to anywhere. My husband couldn't make the stairs so we had to get the stairlift in. The reps were very professional and came as soon as they could. The guy who installed it was wonderful. The quality of the Stannah stairlift was perfect and it did its purpose.

Everybody was very thorough and everything from the sales to the installation went smoothly. The installer made sure we understood how to operate the stairs and when we had a problem with the little lift at the bottom making a noise, he came the next day and fixed it. We love the stairlift.

The quality seems not perfect -- sometimes a little bit shaky -- but very good. The major thing I'm disappointed in is that in the literature, it said that the stairlift has a safety stop so if it runs into anything, it will stop but it does not. I haven't called to see if that's a design defect or if there's something wrong specifically with it. But other than that, it works well most of the time. It's a little bit complicated to operate but I can see why it has to be. It gets my wife up and down the stairs and we're happy with that.

The sales rep, Mo, and the main guy who did the installation were terrific. Mo explained everything nicely so we decided to go with Stannah. Then, the installers did the installation in under three hours, explained everything to us in great detail, and showed us how to work it. We were very pleased. We made a phone call to Stannah because the footrest didn't work for a little while and the woman who answered the phone told us what to do, which was simply to flip the switch or push a button.

The installer was very professional. He would call his supervisor if he had any issues and it was great. The stairlift has made a huge difference. The fact that it's there brings me comfort to know that my mother can just sit on it and go upstairs and come downstairs. It's a little bit more expensive, but it’s worth it.

Everybody was very knowledgeable and patient. They were very good to work with. We are enjoying the stairlift. It's a big help for us. It's everything that we wanted.

The Stannah stairlift performs its function, and that’s what I was looking for. Good quality. It has made it more convenient for me to get up to my bedroom and down again.

I liked that the salesman was not a high pressure salesman. He was very professional. And the person who did the installation was also very personable and knowledgeable, and provided training on the operation of the unit. He went over the safety features. So all in all, very positive experience. I also liked that Stannah came out and provided a price quote, and advised what you need, made sure that everything would work properly, and you were set up well for it with no obligation. That was certainly an incentive, that they came out and you can meet with them and talk with them about it before the actual installation. People should do their homework. I was fortunate in having a personal reference that was very helpful to me. But someone who didn't have a reference like that, I can see where they might want to look at other units. But I'm very happy with this one.

I am Stannah's customer for more than 15 years. Mine was already used for a good few years, and it needed to be replaced. The product is excellent and durable. I have 13 steep steps. We move constantly upstairs and downstairs to a ridiculous degree. So, it solved the problem.

The rep answered my questions. Also, the installation was quick and perfect. Stannah kept whatever they promised. They're fantastic to work with.

Everybody I dealt with at Stannah was really top-notch. They had the patience, took their time with us, and answered any and all questions we had to make sure we understood how to operate it and everything.

Stannah Stairlifts was local. They responded almost immediately. And within a couple of weeks, the chair was installed. The salesperson was here and talked to us about the chair, how it would fit and measured. Two weeks later, a gentleman named Wayne came and installed. It took him four hours because he was meticulous about everything. In between, we have to have an electrician come in and put an extra outlet in close to where we needed it done. And we might need to call him back for a bit of an adjustment.

We went with Stannah because of the promise that it was the highest quality and that ongoing maintenance would be taken care of. We wouldn't have to continue to pay service fees for the piece parts. We knew that it was going to be much less expensive maintenance moving forward but that wouldn't be necessary because it's higher quality than the other stairlifts. Also, they just seemed easier to do business with. David, the sales rep, was very reassuring and my mother felt very comfortable with him. She felt like he was very honest and transparent and she felt comfortable moving forward with him.

We bought a stairlift from Stannah 10 years ago and we liked it. We wanted another one. They did a good job during the installation and I'm very satisfied with the quality.

Stannah Stairlifts has been good. I had one problem with it and they sent one out to fix it right away. I had a stairlift through another company and Stannah's is better. They're more expensive initially, but in the long run they're not.

The sales rep from Stannah Stairlifts was very good and when the technician came up, we ended up swapping the wall that we had initially decided it needed to be on. But other than that, it was fine and he was wonderful. We're very happy with the product and my mother is enjoying not having to climb up all those stairs. My mother was complaining about the price though and the installation technician reassured her that she would be happy with it. He has a background where he worked with seniors in a nursing home in his past work and he was excellent. I couldn't ask for better. He was so nice to her, very compassionate, respectful and answered all her questions. He was a great guy.

I liked the convenience that Stannah provided. They were very prompt in coming out to assess my situation for need and they were also completely forthcoming. Their sales rep helped in every way. He answered all questions that I asked him. He was honest about how much the stairlift was going to cost and how long we were going to have to wait because of the pandemic and the shipping.

I had a stairlift for over 21 years and it had been wonderful. But it finally went on its way so I had to replace it. I had the literature from Stannah from years ago so I called and said that I needed mine replaced. Stannah has a good name. Nice young men did the installation and they did very well. They were very careful. The stairlift that I have now gives me a little bit more room on the stairway because it's not as bulky. It operates very well too. The only thing is the safety belt thing is a little bulky and awkward.

I was looking for something for my sister who fell down the stairs and broke her back. I read about Stannah online in my AARP. The salesman came to my house and he showed pictures of the product to me. I purchased them and they were installed in November of '21. We have two lifts for two staircases and it's 14 steps each. The quality of the chair was fine, except there were a couple of minor problems. We blew a fuse in the chair itself and my sister got stuck in the staircase.

Working with Stannah was easy. We knew we wanted a stairlift so we went to a storefront in Hamden, Connecticut. The gentleman there was really nice and informative. The guy who installed the stairlift was fantastic too. He was very polite and it was comfortable having him in the house. He made the whole experience pleasant and he really deserves a little bonus.

The representative explained everything to me and he was very knowledgeable. Also, the install team was very good. They showed us how to use it and told us to call them if anything goes wrong. The stairlift has helped greatly and what's good about it is when we have company, we can fold it up and they're not impeded walking up the stairs.

The salesman was fabulous, with the way he approached everything, explained everything, and went through exactly what was gonna be. My wife and I were both impressed. Also, the installer stayed until we understood how to work the stairlift.

I like the quality of the stairlift and it's very easy to operate. It's not as bulky as some others that I've seen and doesn't eat up the whole area where the stairs are. Also, Stannah stands behind their product. It's a phone call if there are any problems.

I liked the design of the Stannah stairlift very much because the lift in the bottom automatically folds down and goes back there. Stannah was very good. The experience with the rep was excellent and the installation was perfect. The stairlift is terrific and because of it, I can get up and down the stairs and do my washing, from the cellar to the first floor.

The sales rep from Stannah was very nice and informative. He came out while my mom was still in the hospital and I met him with my dad. He chatted with us about what was going on with my mom and what we were looking for as far as what she would need. Then my dad had a little conversation about older cars so it was nice to have that little bit of the personal connection with him. The guy who came out to install the stairlift was amazing as well. He was very courteous, professional and helpful. After he was done installing it, he stayed with us to make sure that my husband and I knew how to work it, where the battery was and general maintenance that the person whose house it is in could do. He made sure my mom knew how to use it and that she was comfortable in it. He was very nice and knowledgeable. So, we enjoyed every step that we had to go through to get it.

The sale of the Stannah Stairlift was all very quick and easy. Everything is fine with the Stannah stairlift. My mother has been able to get up and down the stairs on her own. She has more independence now.

From the very beginning to the end, everything has been outstanding. I was recommended Acorn at first, but they couldn't even come out to look at it until two weeks after Stannah Stairlifts' salesman showed up. So, it was amazing. Rich, the salesman, came out. He was very clear and concise, explained everything perfectly, all the pictures and the presentation. He looked at where the stairlift would go and went through with the purchase. He pointed out all the benefits that the Stannah had over the other brands, which people wouldn't know until somebody pointed those out to them.

I don't have the stairlift anymore but Stannah did a wonderful job when they put it in. Both the people who put it in were excellent, and the quality was excellent. It was very sturdy. I couldn't get used to it though so I had to have it removed. It was getting on and then getting off and getting on to the next one. It wasn't for me. But the experience was very good.

The representative was informative, upfront and he didn't oversell. There were two techs. I assumed one was an assistant, somebody that was learning. They were tidy, clean, efficient, and seemed to know what they were doing. My only concern with the siairlift is it has the retractable rail at the bottom of the stairs in order to not impede access to the living room. And as the list goes over the joint where the retraction occurs, it makes some noise. But that was mentioned by the installer as normal. I have some concern because I've used it at times myself and I feel that vibration and hear the noise. Therefore, there has to be something rubbing against either the rail or that part of the chair that glides along the rail. And over time, when you have that kind of vibration, it generally leads to a deterioration of either metal or plastic, whatever is being used. Other than that, I was impressed with the speed with which Stannah responded to my outreach.

Our Stannah stairlift has been working fine. We don't have any issues with that. Rich, the sales guy, was very responsive. When we had spoken to him, he had said, "After a while, if you're comfortable, we would like to get the switch turned off for the seatbelt," so we can use it with or without. Right now, it doesn't move unless the seatbelt is on. We had asked for a beige seat when we had ordered and they sent us a walnut one and promised to replace it and we haven't heard back from anyone. In fact, I just called this morning, both to our salesperson as well as Stannah's 800 number.

They gave a nice, laid-back presentation and the installation went fine. We got a straight stairlift and I was happy with the cost. The stairlift been better than expected. It's easy to use and very high quality.

The installation of the stairlift was very good. The man was very nice, friendly and informative. The stairlift is extremely convenient and we use it a lot. At the end of the day, when you're really tired, it's very good to not have to walk up all those steps. Go for Stannah.

Stannah is excellent. I had a problem after I had the stairlift for a week, but they came right out. The workmen were very good and kind. Apparently, it was a faulty switch when it was manufactured. So, they took the whole chair apart and got a new switch and put it all together. So far, so good. I got the stairlift as a safety thing after I broke my ankle. I'm very happy with it. It also became like a dumbwaiter because I have the remote control. So, even if I'm not going up, I can put whatever I need in the chair and hit the remote control and it takes them all the way up.It's really very convenient.

The reps were informative, prompt and they gave me options. The installation went very well. The techs were very professional, clean and they provided training on how to use the stairlift. It's been helpful and it serves its purpose. I had a good experience with Stannah and I recommend them.

The installers were very polite. Things have worked fine since the installation.

The elevator has been out of service for a couple of months and people would have no access to getting down the stairs. I called Stannah and they were very responsive and were able to comply with the vaccination policy for the state of Connecticut. The rep was awesome and everything went well during the installation of the stairlift. The techs were on time and very proficient. They got the installation done in the amount of time they said they were going to get it done. They went above and beyond. We had a couple of hurdles we had to get through and everything got resolved in a timely manner. People have been really happy with the quality of the stairlift. We had one service call on it because one minor thing happened to it but besides that, everything else has been smooth. I look forward to doing the next project with them.

The installers did a good job and got it done within a reasonable amount of time. They were very professional and they answered all questions. Somehow, the button on the arm of the stairlift got turned off during the first weeks of use and it was a little frustrating. But it hasn't happened again. The stairlift is as good as could be expected and it works well.

Nine years ago, I had Stannah. I needed a new one now. The motor was gone. They put a motor in because it was a guaranteed warranty on that. Their customer service was all good. I was happy with Stannah before. But if I was to do it all over again, I would have probably shopped around for a cheaper one.

I liked knowing that Stannah has an actual physical place close by where, if there's an issue, it can be resolved quickly. The sales rep was great. Didn't push us to buy. In the end, he let us know, "This deal I'm offering you is for right now", which I knew I probably could have got the same deal if I waited. But we knew we needed one and I thought it was a decent deal, so we got it.

Working with the team at Stannah was great. The salesman that came was wonderful. Also, the installation person was very nice and helpful. Both of them explained everything thoroughly, so it went very well. The stairlift is great. We went with a refurbished one and it's like brand new. We're very happy with the quality and the way it works. It's made a huge difference. My husband comes up and down the stairs many more times a day than he used to, so that’s great.

There was a snafu on the office end. We clarified the order that we wanted and sent an email. We received an email back that the change had been made. When the original installer showed up, he had the older order and so he didn't have the parts. There was a blame game going on internally and as a consequence, we had to wait two weeks to get the stairlift installed which stalled my ability to go up the stairs to my office. That was an irritant.

The two installers tried to do their jobs as much as they could and they were helpful. I use the stairlift not too often but it's very convenient for now. When I need it, I sit on it and it takes me up and down. So far, it’s working. There's one feature that I would like though. Mine is at the back stairs. When it comes all the way into the house so I can sit from my kitchen, the seat stays the way it is and I have to go around so I can sit on it.

The quality of my Stannah stairlift is excellent. There's only one thing I'm not crazy about. My friends have Acorn, and you can control the up and down leler with either hand. Now here, the control is only on the right side, and my right hand is the one that I have a problem with. So, I have to reach across my body and hold it. So, if they could do it on either side, it would be nice.

We got a refurbished stairlift and the quality is very fine. We were very pleased with the whole experience with Stannah.

I had a little trouble at first, but some of it was because of the weather. We had a big storm and no one told me whether they were coming or not. I understood if they couldn't come ‘cause of the storm, but I didn't get a phone call. Then I got a call from someone who ended up doing the measurement and the proposal, and she was fantastic.

Stannah's customer service was very good. The installers arrived late, but that was okay. They were delayed by something. They stayed, it got dark, and they were here for quite a long time. It wasn't totally easy. As far as the stairlift, it is too slow. It also somehow feels old-fashioned. It doesn't seem like a modern electronic device. We have the thing in two halves, and you park the two moving chairs in the middle. There’s a remote that you use to fetch it, and you have to hold the button and you have to stand there holding the button. That's not very efficient.

We have a Stannah stairlift installed, and so far, I'm very impressed. Being able to get upstairs is its important feature, but its simplicity of use would be its best feature. The installer who did the work was very professional, very considerate, and patient.

The salesperson was very knowledgeable, and installation was so quick, we never even knew the installers were here. They were wonderful, polite, and picked up the mess. There was nothing left behind, and we even wrote reviews about the performance. The stairlift is wonderful as well. It makes a big difference, and if someone is having trouble getting up the stairs, it's a no-brainer. It's very easy to use. My mother is 87 and it took her a bit with directions, but now, she's perfect.

I've been using my Stannah stairlift almost every day. I use it about 10 times a day going down to the basement. It works well. You have to have a really wide stairway in your house to make it a little bit easy to use. I have two stairways that have them. One goes to the second floor. That's a pretty good one. The cellar stairs is a little bit not as wide, but I could go down. It's just a little bit more difficult.

I was happy with the product and the install. The rep, Jonathan, was good. He helped us work through getting the stairlift installed and it wasn't stressful or any pressure. The installers did a good job as well. They were courteous and wore their mask. We got a circular custom stairlift, and it fits the way it should. It's very high quality, and it’s helped safety-wise here.

Everything was great, from the time I called Stannah to the time RJ installed the stairlift. He was professional, quick and neat, and I felt comfortable with him. The stairlift works great too. I'm 100% happy.

The two people who put the stairlift in did a great job and they were nice and neat. We couldn't ask anybody to do a better job than these two. The stairlift is functional, and the quality of it seems good as well, but we don't like that second rail. It takes away from the hallway going upstairs. I’ve got another one going downstairs into the cellar and that's only one rail. I like the way it looks a lot more than the way this looks with two rails. I'm not dissatisfied though. I just wish Stannah would have had one or the salesman would have told me about one that didn't have two rails. Also, there's a button just on one side to move the stairlift up or down the stairs. The one I have going into the cellar has a button on both sides, so if I got something in one hand, I could use the other hand. It's a lot easier.

The sales representative was very knowledgeable and helpful, and then a fellow by the name of Eric came to install the stairlift. Eric was fantastic. The stairlift is very nice. We haven't used it that much because we haven't moved back upstairs completely yet, but it works great, looks good and very operational. We're very happy with it.

The guy who sold the Stannah to us was great. They installed it and we haven't had a problem since.

My experience with Stannah was very good in general. I was happy with them. They did the presentation and evaluated the space that we wanted to have the chairlift put in and made a recommendation accordingly. The fellow who installed was very professional. He went right to work and got the job done very efficiently. He showed us how the chairlift worked afterwards. Having it has been positive. It's able to get my wife up and down the stairs.

Stannah was willing to install the stairlift within days and the installation was seamless. The product is working seamlessly, and we are satisfied with it.

With Stannah, it was a matter of we called them, they said, "Yeah, we'll show up at your house," and no problems. We got plenty of information, ended up with a clear view of what we needed to take up for our particular uses. The crew that came out initially seemed to have a fair idea of the standard procedures on setting things up. We had a problem afterwards, but they sent out someone who was more experienced than anyone in their crew. He looked at it and made one simple adjustment that cured the problems.

We are happy with the quality of the stairlift. The sales rep and installation technician were very good too.

Other people were a couple hundred bucks cheaper but Stannah is a bigger company which I liked. During the installation, the gentlemen were there for four hours. They were professional and did what they had to do. They showed and modeled the stairlift. So far, the quality is good.

My sister had an Acorn but we did not like the fact that you had to manually turn the chair when it got up to the top, drop the foot rest and also move the rail. We called a couple of other companies and we decided on Stannah. They were very professional and did a good job. They came, installed, cleaned up and left. The chair does very well.

The sales rep was very thorough and friendly. I felt very relaxed with the whole situation. There was one gentleman that came to install the stairlift and I felt that he could have been a little more patient with me catching on to what was going on. But the stairlift is good. It doesn't take up much room on a narrow staircase.

The sales rep of Stannah was nice and very pleasant. He explained what it was about and the price, too. Then, I said yes to the stairlift. However, we have curved stairs. I didn't even think about it until after, I said, "Oh, it's only going to stop on one landing," 'cause it has two steps and then it comes to the landing. I called the office to find out how much is that extra part. They whipped me with a big bill. But I said, "I really can't afford it, because I already have 4,800 right now. That's going to be too much." The quality is good. I rode in it one time and it took me down and it had a nice humming sound. It's nice. It's a great product. They also put it in a place where you won't have any problems. They set it up perfectly.

Our stair lift goes straight up and it fits in our stairwell very well. The installer showed me how the it operates and had me do it too. I took it up and down and swerved it so I could get out of it. I came back down and with the feet rest down so I could get out. So far, the stairlift is pretty good. My one little problem is a tiny piece fell off. I called on a Friday and I spoke with somebody in customer service. I called late and the person sain, "We can put your concern in and have somebody come out, but they probably wouldn't be able to come out till Monday." I was supposed to stay downstairs until then. I was not fine with that. Thank God I can walk a little bit so if I needed to, I could walk up the top of the stairs and walk down. But if I were a person that could not do that, that would be my concern.

The Stannah crew worked professionally in a timely manner, gave us their patience in answering questions and didn't rush us. They got good customer service. The stairlift is operating pretty well. It's set up pretty sturdily. I have two older parents and they are not as stable as they used to be. So, they are able to have more independence walking up and down the stairs. Also, for us children, we have more confidence that they will not injure themselves and that they can navigate the house more effectively.

The sales rep from Stannah was very polite and very good at what he does. He knew me from where I did my mother's house. So, it was like meeting up with an old friend. The installers were very professional. They knew what they were doing. The stairlift works good. It's just that sometimes when you get up halfway up the stairs, it feels like it's rumbling a little bit. It's like pushing up. So, I was gonna call them. Other than that, it’s fine. It turned out to be the best investment I did.

I love Stannah. Their sales rep was a very nice gentleman. We went down and met him at his office and I took a ride on the demonstrator that they had there, and we decided that that was the right thing to do, and it was. Our house has four floors, and we got two stairlifts. We got one that goes to the basement and one that goes upstairs to where our bedroom is. So, not only do I use it but my husband uses it because he's always carrying things from one floor to the other. So, it's been a real help. I can go wherever I want to now.

I compared stairlifts, and Stannah was, by far, the best one and seems most reliable. I had a very good and professional experience with their sales team. However, after I placed the order and sent money, I got emails asking me would I like to place an order. I was concerned that maybe the order didn't get in or something had gone wrong. When I called, I kept getting passed from one person to the next. Finally, they got me back to the right person. But it was frustrating. It seemed as though one department didn't know what the other one was doing. But it was all straightened out and everything works the way it's supposed to.

My husband and my sister are both physically disabled. Getting up and down the stairs was getting harder and harder. I was doing some research online and Stannah came up. I enjoyed their website. It was easy and clear. When I did further research, other people had good things to say about it. The warranty and their customer service, people have just raved about. So, I figured that's worth it.

My wife's in love with the Stannah stairlift. It's made her life a whole lot better. We have a curve in our stairs and it fits it really well. We’re really happy with it. Everybody was great, from the gal that we talked with initially to the salesman that came out. The installers were also great guys. The installation was very smooth.

Stannah had the features that I wanted. The Stannah representative did all the measurements and did what he needed to do to make sure it was going to fit where it was going to fit, gave me all the information I needed and answered my questions. I went with the Siena 600 and it fits into the space it needs to. The installer was very professional with what he did. Everything was nice and neat. He cleaned up after himself and removed all the garbage. He not only explained it to me but then when he was done, he explained it to my mother as well. The quality of the stairlift is good.

The stairlift is a godsend and it has helped me in my day-to-day. I'm perfectly satisfied. If you need it, get it.

When the rep came out, the presentation was straightforward and simple. I got two straight stairlifts and they do the job, although they could be a little smaller. Also, we got the fold-up foot at the bottom and cannot leave the chair at the bottom because it has no power. It keeps saying, “No power,” making that noise, so we always have to send it up to get power and stop beeping.

Our stairlift goes straight up. The little lift goes down to meet the floor at the bottom of the stairs. It also goes up to the top, and it has a little turn there. It has been very helpful for me, and when my husband was sick and his Medical Care came in. They used it to go upstairs to help him shower. And it has worked very well. It’s a good stairlift.

I was very happy with the schedule setup. The rep explained how it worked and said they could get it installed before Thanksgiving which they did. Everything was professional. The techs came when they were supposed to and explained the product. It works the way they said it would.

Their installation team was good. The only concern I have with this stairlift is that my brother is not able to maneuver the switch on the chair itself. I have to use the remote to get him up and down. I have a stairlift that curves and wraps around. When it gets to the point where it's going to be turning, it momentarily stops and I have to keep hitting the button to get it going again.

We put in a Stannah stairlift because my mom's 91. It was recommended by an RN at her hospital. The person who installed it was awesome. The stairlift is excellent and my mom wouldn't be at home without it.

Stannah's stairlift has a couple of features that are different from the Acorn and some of the other generic products. Features that other products you have to pay extra for or are not available, Stannah puts into the whole package.

The installation of our stairlift took about two hours, which was quick. Our installers were competent and friendly. Our stairlift looks good and we've been using it for a couple of weeks now. A home advisor website gave me an estimate for a chair lift and Stannah called back first. A guy came to the house and gave me what I thought was a reasonable price on a basic chair. He seemed very knowledgeable and a nice guy. I asked when the chair could be put in and he said two days later. I gave him a deposit, which was refundable. I then did a little research on Stannah and it looked pretty quality so we went with it. The installers were 100% great. In terms of the quality for the cost, it's what it should be.

During the meeting with them, I felt it was the best choice. Mo was the person that came and spoke with us. Mo was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, polite, and made sure everything was understood. My mother said the installation was the same experience. Overall, the experience was just really good. Also, my mother likes everything about the stairlift. Unfortunately, they knew when they had installed it that there was a little obstruction with the lowest banister and her feet clearing as she was going up. They told her to test it out for seven days and let them know if she feels there’s an issue. She still wants to keep it. It's very practical to help her get up and down so that there's no risk of falling.

The lift was okay with the exception of it being too large for the stairs. I have two sets of stairs so I had two lifts and the top lift is plugged into electrical. I charge it. If it's not kept at the top of the stairs and it goes downstairs where I would be taking it, it beeps and the beep will drive me nuts. I have to send it back up the stairs and when I come up the stairs myself, I have to send it back down so I can go back up. It was not user-friendly. I returned it and I'm waiting for them to send me my money back. They said when they took it out, they would send me a check in a week. That has not happened and I can't get them to call me back.

Michelle did the measurements and she was very knowledgeable and professional. She told me what needed to be done and what couldn't be done. I wanted to purchase another one for the basement and she explained the reason I couldn't do that. Then, she told me what was going to happen and how long it will take. On the installation day, the crew showed up at the time that they were supposed to and they brought up all the equipment. They installed the stairlift and they cleaned up everything. They went above and beyond because I had some handles on the stairs and they took it off, but they didn't have to do that. The stairlift is good so far. One little thing is the footstep sometimes gets stuck. But then I just wiggle it and then it comes down. The rep told me that normally that would be the piece that gets damaged the most. She said that if something happens, to call back and they would fix it.

Stannah answered right away and they were going to send somebody a lot sooner than the other people I called. Also, the salesman was a really nice guy. The installers did a great job installing the stairlift and they were very friendly and knowledgeable. The sad part about it is I got it for my wife and she died three days later. She never got to use the Stannah. So, they came and they took it out for me. They're crediting my account for the full amount. I'd recommend them to anybody. If I ever need a stairlift, I'd call them right away.

The installation was perfection. The Stannah is first-rate. It's great. We recommend using it. It’s very helpful for both me and my wife.

The representative who came out was fantastic. I did not feel as if someone was just trying to push something off on me. Also, the installers were neat and efficient. The first rep came at 7:50 and the other one, a few minutes after 8:00. They were finished by 1:30. The stairlift has been good so far. Every once in a while, though, it may decide not to move or give a signal or a beeping signal. I turn it off and turn it back on and I keep moving.

The customer service rep and installment team did a great job. The girl who came out and explained everything to me. She was pretty informative so I didn't have many questions when she left. Then, the girl and the guy that came and installed it were very personable and very nice people. They couldn't have done a better job.

The gentleman who installed the stairlift was a nice man. He was very professional and very friendly. He explained everything. I really liked him a lot. Also, the stairlift was a very good investment. We’re happy with it and my husband uses it all the time. Although sometimes, the button where that puts down the pad where you put your feet has to be hit twice.

It was great with the sales rep and the installation went fine. The stairlift has helped my husband a lot.

I'm disappointed because the purchase and installation process is taking so long. I only have half and it's supposed to be in by the 17th. That's what the rep told us and he's gonna get back to me today. Also, it was deceiving because Stanna was gonna give me the brown stairlift. But when I looked at it on the phone, it didn't look brown. Plus, I never got a brochure. Also, the Stannah makes a lot of noise. It creaks when I go up and down and I didn't expect that. But everyone was very nice.

Because I'm very tall, the salesman measured me to see if I will be able to sit on the stairlift going up and down the stairs. He said that they might have to remove the handrail or the banister because my knees interfere with those. The installation went well. I love my stairlift. I like the remotes that we use at the bottom and the top of the stairs.

The chairs that Stannah had put on their site looked a little bit better and newer and also a little bit slimmer in terms of the space that they took up on the stairwell. The sales visit was a bit confusing because I had made the online purchase already and had decided on one model and everything that I had wanted. Then the person who came, Moe, wasn't aware that I had already made a purchase and put a deposit. So, he was trying to sell me the different models and go over the options. I kept telling him, "I think I've already decided on all of this online." He was only convinced after I showed him the email with the order and the deposit, and then he called the office and then they told him, "Oh, it seems like it's an online sale. So, all you have to do is take the measurements and leave. You don't need to talk to the customer about the model."

This is the third time we've had one of the Stannah Stairlifts installed. We had it done first on a short-term basis for my elderly mother when she was visiting then we returned it. Then we got one for my wife’s parents, who didn’t use it much. We returned it too. I’m 86 now and at first, I rejected the idea but I decided I would go ahead and do it. The team at Stannah is spectacular. The installer was very professional. He gave us an excellent introduction to the stairlift and how to work it that was better than the printed material that came with it.

There was a delay in the shipment in the beginning but the installation was easy and the reps were informative. The grease from the gears looks like it’s getting on the pipe though and it's hard to tell if there's some paint that's being chipped off or it's just the grease. Still, everything's been good.

When I called Stannah, they were very good as well as the process to get someone here to take a look at our facility. They were very congenial when they got here and it worked out fine. The installation of the stairlift was very easy and the gentleman who came to do that told me exactly at the time he got here what he was gonna do and how long it was gonna take. Except for a little snafu that he ran into because of the configuration, he finished everything within three hours and about 20 minutes. He set me up to do the test run, which was good, and I felt confident and was very pleased when he left.

I had a very good experience with Stannah. The fellow who did the installation knew what he was doing and it went very smoothly. It took less than a day.

I liked the rental option of Stannah and the stairlift was great. The installation was a little bit longer than I had expected but it was reasonable.

I called Stannah and got an appointment, which was very nice, except it got cancelled because somebody got sick and I had to wait an additional week for the installation. The gentleman who installed the stairlift was very good and didn't seem to have any difficulty. But he was rather impatient when we had questions. He wasn’t rude but he could have used a speck more patience in his voice. We had to understand him quickly and he didn't appreciate too many questioning to clarify things. But the installation was very clean and neat. And the stairlift has been very good because I fell and broke my hip. I had surgery and I needed something for my main stairway. I should have done it sooner.

Stannah is local and it means a lot because they're here and I know where they are if something goes wrong. I went with them and the sales rep came out when she promised she would. She did her job. Also, the guys who installed the stairlift were fantastic. Stannah delivered what they said they would and we're very happy with it.

My grandfather needed a stairlift and I liked Stannah's values. The salesman that was here did a great job and he gave us a good discount because my grandfather was a veteran. They respected the veterans and he gave us a good price. They do a buyback better. They did a very good job. They offered us a used one and said that it's manufactured and refurbished and they buy it back. There was a whole bunch of stuff that they offered with it. It was nice. The installation went very quickly. I pushed it off to a certain date and they had it all set and ready to go.

It took quite a while to install the stairlift. We had to have a little extra section at the bottom because, otherwise, it would have blocked the door. The installers thought they would be able to do it in a week but it was more like two weeks. But they were very good. Also, we love the stairlift. The only thing is the on-off button has a light that shines while it's on and if we shut it off, it just beeps. We don't really have much of an option to get rid of that light and it's quite bright in the hall upstairs.

Everything went well with the rep. For the installation, they were in one day and the guy was very good. The stairlift has made things easier. I sit on it and I move the thing and it takes me upstairs. It works fine.

Everything was wonderful from the salesman down to the installation. The stairlift is sturdy enough. We had a piece fall off, and we couldn't figure out where it came from, but it's not affecting the usage. Overall, we're very happy with the company.

Stannah had features that the other companies didn't offer like the stairlift automatically went up the extended rail. It went straight, but the bottom step sticks out and it would have been blocking the doorway. Stannah had one that went back automatically. I had two of the stairlifts installed and both of them were done in one day. One guy worked on the one going upstairs, and the other guy worked on the one going to the basement. My wife likes the stairlifts.

We're using our Stannah stairlift and we like it very much. It was a very brief and professional experience.

When I spoke to the manager at Stannah, he convinced me that they were better than everybody else. But I don't know if I can say that because I had to have the first one replaced. The chair tilted forward and it was a bumpy ride. But the second one is much better. The other issue was that I was promised that the people coming had been vaccinated but only one of them was. The next crew that came were both vaccinated.

Everything's been very good and the stairlift is working very well. There’s a man who we met before who has taken over and has shown us how to use them, and if there are any issues, he seems to provide the help. We’ve had the stairlift for three months and my husband loves them. He sits on the chair that brings up the stairs and it’s connected. The person who connected them did a wonderful job because my husband sits near an installation that he holds onto and grabs hold of it. The same person has installed other things in my family room and in my kitchen that makes things very accessible for us. We're happy with what's happening.

Stannah's consultant was very professional. He gave an explanation and did a drawing for me, which was very simple, to show me the adjustments I needed to make in order to have a lift in place. He was very accommodating and so far, the stairlift is doing what he said it would.

The Stannah sales rep and installation crew were excellent. They did a wonderful job.

One of my neighbors had a Stannah stairlift so I was able to review it there and she raved about it. And I liked the construction when I was over at her house. Both the installer and salesperson were good. And one thing that I liked about what the salesperson said, that you could go to any of their showrooms and they have the competitor’s stairlift to compare theirs to. I like this one because it was made in America. The construction and engineering looks good. I like those safety features and the remote control options. I have a very wide staircase and the stairlift fits well.

The rep from Stannah did his work, which was very effective, and when he was done, he called me and let me know he was finished. He tried it out and showed me exactly what to do. We are loving the stairlift. When we have to go up and I transfer my husband from his wheelchair on to the seat, it makes a sound if it’s not properly set. He sets it, presses the button and down or up he goes. It’s very convenient for us. It’s difficult for him to be walking up and down the stairs, so that chair is so effective. We had one snag when we had a short power outage and it was making a beeping sound. I called someone to make some inquiries but eventually, it started working good again when the power was restored.

I bought the Stannah stairlift and I also bought an Acorn. Acorn has a control right or left on both arms, so if you have a stroke or you can only use one hand, you can use it on either arm, whereas Stannah only has one control. But other than that, they're about equal. The Stannah is a little expensive compared to others but they may last longer. It is also a little faster and more comfortable to sit on. There's a little more padding, which is the one feature that I was impressed with.
