Everyone I spoke to in regards to submitting and clarifying claims was thorough and nice. It seems things get reviewed and processed at a decent pace. However, I never received a copy of my warranty details when I purchased it and have not yet been emailed one. There is also no easy way to read exactly what is covered online, since the portal links to download the policy do not work.

The decision to change to Select Home Warranty was easy based on a quick search for reviews and looking at a major known review site. The process was "no pressure", rates very competitive, and beneficial additions for my home were made known. I've just signed up today, but should I have any claims I anticipate them going smoothly.

After going through and talking to several companies and calling back again, I chose Select Home Warranty because of the integrity of the sales dept. I questioned them over and over and was just waiting for them to contradict themselves or have them offer something, and find out they were lying. Many companies out there, in my quest for the right choice, did just that. Select Home Warranty stood out from the pack with confidence and, better yet, integrity which is so hard to find anymore. I made the right choice and happy to have them protecting my home.

We are new home buyers we were looking for home warranty plans for quite a while. The sign-up process was easy. I did some research, and it was the most affordable plan I was able to find that covers all the appliances in our house.

Please do not waste your money with company. It had for them to find a tech in my area especially during emergencies. They want you to wait weeks before having a tech come out and then after you complain you are able to find your own tech. They feed you lies about continuing the contract just to make you feel convinced and take your money. The representatives are RUDE!

My experience with the company thus far has been great. Salesman was informative, helpful and provided great service. I was able to have my questions answered thoroughly. Hopefully our relationship continues to be a rewarding experience and not a regret.

I strongly advise against using Select Home Warranty based on my experience. I had my dryer repaired in March for a specific issue, and by May, less than two months later, it broke again with the exact same problem. Instead of standing behind the original repair, they required me to pay another $75 service fee for what was clearly a failed fix. That alone was frustrating, but dealing with their customer service made things worse. Every representative I spoke with sounded like they were reading directly from a script, offering no real help or flexibility. There was no sense of accountability or willingness to resolve the issue fairly. Overall, this experience felt like a complete waste of money and time. I would never use Select Home Warranty again and would caution others to look elsewhere for more reliable and customer-focused coverage.

The process of enrolling was very smooth and the person I spoke with, Jake **, was very cordial and provided answers to my questions. He suggested a discounted two-year plan which I accepted. This seems to be a good deal. Thank you Jake! My sincere hope is if I ever need help, the process be as smooth as the enrolment!

The representative was very professional and helpful in getting the plan in place. I have had another company for 10+ years and both their value and service have steadily declined. I would recommend reviewing this company if you are in the market for a warranty plan.

The agent fully explained the details of the plan and the charges for the plan; and different options available. He explained how the claims process works. He explained what was included in the basic plan as opposed to the more expensive plans. The agent explained how the claims process works and that there is 24/7 claims processing available. The agent also explained what coverages were not part of the plan; and how to add optional coverage for different systems in the home.

I called for info on home warranty plan at 8:30pm on Friday night, Ryan was amazing and didn't rush through anything although it was the end of his day. He explained coverage and costs and pointed out the many benefits. Really hope everything goes as well as the sign up process. Looking to having this warranty company for the long haul.

It was easy to sign up. The company offered a Senior Discount and applied the discount during the call. We received a locked in rate that won't change every year like with other companies. You can take it with you if you move. Low deductible so you don't have to wait to get service.

Sean was very helpful and upfront with every detail of my policy and what is/isn’t covered. Made it easy and made the most sense. I feel confident in being covered with my home warranty. My coverage is better than my previous coverage in both out of pocket costs and all that is covered. Being able to cover based on on total cap per year and not specific to how much I’m covered on 1 appliance makes it feel worth it.

I just signed up for Select Home Warranty and had a great experience with Belinda. She was very helpful in answering all of my questions and I didn't feel like she was just trying to sell me. It felt more like she was helping me find the right coverage for my home.

I spoke with Fred and was pleased at his professional manner and knowledge. He was calm and informative in making me aware of available home warranty programs and promotions. The prices were attractive and convincing. We signed up for the 4year (get 6 years) of coverage. We feel comfortable with this decision.

I have canceled the 5 year contract I signed with this Company. They sent a rep to my home to look at my air conditioning, but he had NO authority to fix ANYTHING. They denied the claim the next day as they don't cover a freon leak or detection thereof. Don't waste your money or your time!!! I spent 43 years in insurance claims at every level including Director and VP for several different companies and I believe their practices are highly questionable.

I MADE THE WORST MISTAKE TO CHOSE THIS SELECT HOME WARRANTY. I had First American Home Warranty. I didn't renew. Select Home Warranty called me on 5/16/2025. offer the coverage. I thought it was the same company. The sell person offer 4 years plus the 5th year free. What a nightmare of a company to deal with. They send Fuss Free. What's a horrible crooked of a company. I ended up pay out of pocket over $1000.00 because he said something that Select Home warranty didn't approved so I can pay him out of pocket. That was in July of 2025. Jan 2026, I have problem with the pool's salt system that cost a little over $1000.00. Select home warranty said they will not cover. I didn't want to deal with Select Home warranty. I call to cancel.

The associate was helpful and patient. I also appreciate the time he took to be sure I got the coverage I needed. The price was unbelievable and it's locked in for life. He was very detailed about the coverage and the service fee.

So far I have been very pleased with the service I have received with Select Home Warranty and the price. I would highly recommend SELECT HOME WARRANTY TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS A HOME WARRANTY. They do what they say they will do and do it right the first time. No hassles.

Excellent customer service. Greg went over value packages that maximized value and added 6 months free for signing for the 3 year deal. And then one more month for free for the review! I recommend this service.

You have a excellent customer service and very well-known attendants all my questions were answered fast and easy to understand. I hope that when I need your Service to fix something it will be as good as your customer service personnel.

Select home warranty is a scam. I signed one year contract and they provided good service, so I signed 3 year contract with $65 service call. My next call I was changed $100.00. I called a million times and every time they gave me a different answer. Also, discovered that their payout is very small if covered at all. Decided to go with Choice home Warranty and canceled my Select home warranty only to find out that there is a cancellation fee of $75.00 and out of my $1330 that I paid, I will be getting about $900 for less than one year into the contract. I have had nothing but problems with select and I think it's a scam.
