We were at a home show and there was someone demonstrating Royal Prestige Cookware. It seemed like a very good product, I liked what I saw, and the demonstrator was very good and helpful in answering my questions. So we've been using our cookware for about three months now and I love them. They're very good products and we are very happy with them.

It's not what I thought it would be. Cleanup is not as easy as they made it sound in the demonstration. We got a food chopper and have yet to figure out what they did in the demonstration because the manual that came with it does not show that. They're also a lot more expensive so I wouldn't repeat the purchase or suggest it to somebody else.

Ruth,

We have a very good set of cookware to begin with but Royal Prestige is definitely superior to what we own. We have other people boarding with us and we don't wanna break out the good cookware and have them use it so we've held back from using the Royal Prestige cookware. We have used the kitchen grater and we've enjoyed it.

The quality is nice, and I thought it would be a perfect wedding gift or shower gift to my granddaughter who was getting married. But, I was upset about the way my Royal Prestige was handled when I bought the little plate with the pan on it. I said, “Does this go together?” and she said, "yes". So when I bought the thing, I expected to see that. And then he said, “Oh, no. That was $190 separate”. Nevertheless, I would recommend them to a friend.

I really like my Royal Prestige cookware. I mainly got the cookware because I like the ease of cleaning it and the fact that it's dishwasher safe. I was ordering a set, but then I couldn't afford that because it's quite pricey so I changed my order and got one pan which was the one that was demonstrated. Also, I love to cook vegetables in it and use it in lieu of a steamer. You can put the different veggies in there and they come out the same color they went in or brighter. The flavor is awesome and it's just like fresher than fresh. I loaned it to a friend and she ordered one, too.

I purchased the starter set and an electric skillet at a truck show in Dallas years ago. This spring at a home and garden show, I bought an induction stovetop and a huge stainless steel kettle so I could use it for canning. The induction stovetop wouldn't work with one of my pots. I come to find out they had a recall that I didn't know about. I ended up sending my pots back and they sent me new ones. They sent me a whole new set of what I had except the frying pan. Customer service did a good job. It got mixed up because I told them to send it to my neighbor's address and they didn't. They sent it to my address and they tried to deliver it 4 times. Then it got sent back. They had to resend it because somebody didn't do their job of shipping it to the right place but I was able to get it.

After many years of trying to resolve my issue, it was finally resolved. Unfortunately, it had to be done through this website and not by Royal Prestige representatives. Today I received my parts at no charge. At this time I'm satisfied and consider this case closed. Thank you!

I bought cooking ware including the water filter, extractor, electric pan. Every time I've contacted one of your sellers to buy parts for my cookware they always try to sell me another set of pans that I don't need. All I need is parts because they get brittle and crack all the time, the filter stopped working less than 6 months after I bought it and they try to sell me a new one. You are the worst company to deal with.

Edgar, Our Customer Service number is on all of our manuals, shipping receipts, our website and all DVDs that instruct you on the use of our merchandise. We are readily available to replace warranty parts if you reach out to us. The Customer Care Team

We ordered the hot plate and when we received it, we plugged it in to use it and an E4 code pops up and it shuts off. Sent back to be repaired and they call and say they cannot find anything wrong with it and sent it back. Yet it still does the same thing. Called the guy we ordered it from and he is having us send it back. At this point, I think I just want my money back.

Kim,

I'm not using my Royal Prestige cookware too often and I have one of the induction plates also to use with them. But they're nice to clean up and they're nice to have so I have no complaints at the moment. Sometimes I take the cookbook out if I think I could get some info out of that, but it doesn't tell me that much. Moreover, the price is very high but they do look nice if you have them hanging in your pantry. One of the pans have some fading stains inside which I haven't been able to remove, but on the outside they look really good. Overall, I'm happy with Royal Prestige.

Hello Doris,

For instance, I was disappointed with the little chopper because it did not work like the demonstration. Also, I wanted to learn more about how to use the cookware and they said that they had classes on it. However, I've never heard anything from them since I last bought it.

Well pleased with the quality, but would have preferred that the slow cooker be made in Italy or someplace other than China. The owner's cook manual should be more detailed for cooking pork chops and chicken. I bought the electric skillet from Royal Prestige when I saw their demo at the Expo Center. I like it but I don't understand it that well. What he did at the show was awesome with all the other cookware but he didn't do much with the electric skillet. I tell people that they can take away my oven and stove, but they'll never get my electric skillet. I fixed turkey breast in there and I don't use my oven anymore so I like it for that. I just don't understand how to do a lot of the other stuff because I really would like to get away from using the oven in the summer months especially.

This company was deceiving and took advantage of me! My fiance and I were invited to a 90 minute presentation in which we were to receive a free gift afterwards. I went for that reason figuring what is the harm in that? Well, here it turns out to be a pots and pans presentation that lasted 2.5 hours instead. I will admit the presentation was fun and maybe the product is good, but I was more excited about the gifts that we could receive. We were repeatedly told you must buy today to take advantage of the sale and of course that got me thinking "well at least if I buy I could sell the product for the same price if I didn't want them."
Well, I end up walking out with an order on the way and 3000 dollars less in my pocket. We were offered vacations on the side which is the only reason I bought the product because I figured I could use the 7 night 8 day vacation for my honeymoon. You could only get the long vacations if you paid for the bigger set. I figured that mathematically it was a great deal. We were told about the airfare not being included but were not informed about the 300 dollars of taxes we have to pay. We were told we could sell the vacations but the certificate says you cannot sell or trade them. We were told the vacations never expire but they expire next year. How will I go on 6 vacations in 1 year???
I decided to call to cancel the order while the shipment was on the way but I called one day late and I sent a cancellation in the mail but they go by the postmark date rather than when it is signed. I went through a lot of calls and research only to find that there was no way out of that contract. I wish I never signed it of course I was tired and not thinking clearly since the presentation went so late and I had work to go to in 4 hours after. Even though they said no pressure I felt lots of pressure to buy. I also bought my product on false information and misrepresentation. I looked right at the woman that gave me the contract and I asked, "how much would this cost if I bought this later on?" Because I figured I would research first. Well she told me, "They are double the price you're paying. That would mean they would cost 6000 dollars!" I thought to myself, "what a steal."
Then I figure out that they are not worth that much at all. The sales representative also kept talking down on other products claiming they are NOT SAFE. He made claims about aluminum pans and pans with Teflon in them being connected with health problems. According to the CEO they are not supposed to bash other products. Here in the end I have bought 3000 dollars worth of cookware that I don't want and never did and there is nothing that can be done about it. The company will not refund money which is strange because if the product I bought is really worth 6000 dollars, from a business standpoint they would save money by canceling my payments and taking the items back. Not really what I need causing me stress and grief while I have my wedding coming up! I don't see how people can take advantage of engaged couples. It is really upsetting! What a mess.
On top of all that the customer service is very diverse. One lady that answered was polite while another was very rude and tempered. Last time I checked contracts are void if signed if you have been lied to and you are a buying a product on false information. I want the product gone and my money back! I hope this informs any future customers about what they may be running into while attending these simple and no pressure presentations. Beware! Also a note for fellow consumers... I do not know for sure but it seems they pay little for these vacations because they work through Odenza Marketing who works with hotels to get leftover rooms cheap. Odenza even says on their site to use these as the last punch to get the buyers attention. The sales reps get these cheap and use these to draw you in. Might as well pay for your own trip and go wherever you want to.
Also the 600 dollar value of rings that we received is deceiving as well. JVL Jewelry even does promo codes once in a while offering 2 free rings. They make money on the shipping you pay which is 25 dollar a ring. Rings that are very similar can be bought for less than 25 dollars elsewhere. This buy is outrageously unfair paying so much for something with little value. I found all these things out after the 3 day cancellation policy so I am trying to let others know before it is too late what you are getting into! Others may have a good experience with them but I have not and this is my honest experience.

I liked the demo that the guy gave of Royal Prestige. I watched two of them because my husband was working in the show with his company. So I watched like a whole one and sat through it and then watched a couple other pieces as a couple. And he did a really good job and I thought the product was interesting. And I had like my original wedding Magnalite from 36 years ago. So it was time for an upgrade.
I just made the last payment so 90 days and I had a few little disappointments. One thing was they give you a few recipes but the instructions of the actual cookware and what I remembered it from the demo, there is not enough information being provided. And then second would be I bought that salad maker thing and I cannot get it to stick to one surface in my kitchen, it just rolls up. I can't use it unless somebody holds it and makes it impossible to use. So that was a huge disappointment because that was one of the things I really was excited about and wanting to start utilizing in my kitchen. So now, it's like a counter decoration. One more thing. My husband dropped the top of my pot the other day and the underneath part of that thing that you open to let the steam out, it cracked.

Hello Cathy,

This company sits you down promising great "FREE" vacation packages and other "FREE" gifts at a sales pitch where you feel obligated to purchase their products for a deal that is unbelievable. I ended up financing a set for the purchase price of $2218.00 in return I would get two Free Vacations stays, one for 2 days and the other for 7 days at a resort all over the world with lots of places to choose from. I would also get free, champagne glasses and free knives. First of all, I was extremely disappointed in the fact that these pots and pans are useless, they burn everything and everything sticks to it, ugh even eggs when even using pam spray.
Secondly to top it off nothing was free at all. There are extraordinarily expensive fees on reserving the vacations, the champagne glasses and knives have fees as well that you need to pay in order to get your free product. I called in to cancel my order and get a refund and they said there is nothing they can do. Basically I am stuck with useless products and useless vacations. This customer service was not helpful at all and said that I am to continue to pay for the pots and pans. I do not agree with paying monthly payments for falsely represented products.

It would be better to do the bigger one for bigger crowds and we have been very, very happy with it. And then as time went on and we began using it and enjoying it, we added a few pieces from estate sales from other companies just to get a little bit smaller containers. I didn't know how to buy anything else, except through demonstration like that. I like the cookware because it heats and cooks quickly, easy to clean up, and it just shines so pretty after you put that bar keepers friend in there. It sets on the counter and you can put different sized cones on for slicing and shredding and so forth. I use that quite a lot too. The quality is really excellent and good though I thought it was a lot of money to spend. I've had the cookware since January and it has it's ups and downs. Firstly, the cleaning was an issue - it's been challenging. They’re tough to clean and more time than I already want to put into them. I think that the company should send some of their cleaning solution to see if that cleans them back. Second, if you cook an egg or some different things, they just don't come out like the home show. I also had some issues with discoloring at the bottom of the interior of the pots, and it takes a long time to get the thing back to what it should look like. We are very health-conscious in this family, so the fact that I do not have to use oil or fat in cooking and how well and tasty the food cooks on a Royal Prestige cookware got me interested. We were at the country fair, and we liked what we saw and tasted. But this changed very quickly after we got home and used it. I'm very unhappy with it.
What was unsatisfactory with it is that you have to use oil or food that has a fat content in it and cook it slow so the fat gets into the pan. I called up the company and they sent me to a website and some information on it, and it's exactly what I was doing. And then I called back and they have this gentleman call me. He was an outside representative of the company and he went over my problems with me. He told me to use a certain cleaner which we did go out and buy. You can't just use any cleaning powder from the stores. He told me exactly what to get. The pan does clean well with that cleaner. We cleaned up the fat, which was an expense, and then he told me I have to put oil in it. But that was the purpose of my spending money for this cookware -- not to have to use oil or fat in cooking, and we don't use food that has a lot of fat in it. So as far as I'm concerned, it's misrepresented.
Royal Prestige was not very helpful. The gentleman was, and was very nice with me and spent a good half hour on the phone, and sent me things on the web to try and help me. Then they called back to see how I was doing.

For the six months we've had it, we use the plus enhancer quite some time. I'm pretty happy with the quality with the shredder. It's got five different components that you can add on - you can shred, dice, slice and all that. But I gotta say I'm not really sure I'm convinced on that one. I was shredding carrots for carrot cake and for some reason it didn't shred the whole carrot, like there was always this strip that it wouldn't shred. I have been using them for the last 6 months or so. They're good, sturdy, and still clean. There are still some pieces I haven't had a chance to play with yet like the Dutch oven system but what I've done with them so far I enjoyed it. The thing I like about it is the way you can basically cook with little to no oil. Like being able to cook vegetables in a pan, just turn them on a little to medium and let the liquids inside the food to do the job. That's probably one of the main features of the Royal Prestige cookware that attracted me to them; I liked the whole philosophy behind the healthy cooking and whatnot.

It's sturdy and I can have the heat lower and with less water. I have the electric fry pan, slow cooker, the knives set and the utensils. I do have one problem with it though. I got the set that was the 9-Ply with the space in the middle and it was recommended that I send it back, and they put a plug in it. So now, if I don't want that plug to pop out and make a big noise that will rattle everything, I can't soak them.
I was told by the representative when I saw him last summer that I should call a certain number and they would replace them. I haven't pursued that at all, but I do not like that. It just really takes away from the purpose. With that plug, it has scared me because it actually leaks and gets water in between. So then, the pressure builds up in there and it pops up and the lid flies off and I don't like that. And I don't like the fact that I can't soak them.

That was their only prerequisite for their daughter. So she got them and they were super pleased. It so happened that when I bought a pan at TJ Maxx and had trouble with stuff sticking, I was irritated so my neighbors advised that I need a Royal Prestige. I was a little concerned about the price, and so I went to the fair and talked with the guy that was there.
He gave me the best option, he was a very nice guy, and I ended up biting the bullet and doing it. After I got them, I didn't watch the DVD, which was bad on my part, but I found a few tricks that I needed to do. I was super thrilled with the soups and other things that were cooking. It just took us a while to get the technique down for the pans to fry eggs and grilled cheese sandwiches, but all in all, it has been a really nice, amazing transition. I just can't get all the little brown stains out of my pan but I don't care how good my pans look on the outside; it's more the stain on the inside but they still cook well.
My neighbor also has all the dishes, all the knives and they just swear by it. There's a good 50 years of those people telling me these are amazing products and I was convinced that this is the right thing to do. So as it turns out, it was a very good investment for me and I'm very pleased. I also got the salad thing where it chops all the food up. I've had them for 4 years now and I like that they're easy to use, and that they cook and clean well.

Overall I'm pretty happy, except that I noticed that I still get burning on the bottom even setting at the heat requirements that the rep has indicated. I bought the cookware because of the demonstration that was done at the fair, and the rep cooked vegetables after just rinsing with water and draining it up so this whole steam was cooking. So, I don't know if there's any way around that but that's the only thing I've really noticed bad: it's burning even on the bottom setting.

We got our Royal Prestige cookware this summer. So far, of the things that I have used, I like it. It’s easy to clean and cooks without water. I like the little separate pot that went with the electric base to cook. We also got their slicer type fixing our veggies with.

My friend who turned 90 today got a set of Royal Prestige when she first got married quite some time ago probably in the 40's and 50's. It's still in fairly good shape. I have a lot of friends that had it and I thought if it lasts that long, then I'm interested. I have the group cookware and the bakeware for five years now. My favorite part of it is the regulation of heat. In my family, they're already wondering who gets to keep it when I'm gone. Quality of cookware is excellent!

I've been very pleased with this cookware. Being able to cook at lower temperatures helps with preparing many dishes we were hesitant to try before, such as making roux for Cajun dishes. The meals come out very flavorful and the cleanup is as easy as advertised.

The rep was very kind and answered all of our questions in a way that was easy to understand. He asked what we needed and did not pressure us to buy pieces we didn't want, while still informing us of what is available. He was knowledgeable and easy to talk to.
