Our family members had some of Royal Prestige cookware and have had them for years and still work perfectly fine and they raved about it. So, we decided to get a cookware for ourselves. We like how easy it is to use. It works very efficiently and it doesn’t burn things like other cookware does. It's very well-made. We got one of the slicer too. It would be nice though if it had adjustments on how thick to slice French fries so we could cut it the way we wanted to.

My husband for a couple of years has been getting determined to have me get rid of my old pots and pans, so he got the whole set except for a couple of pieces. We went with Royal Prestige because of its quality, warranty and the sales presentation. It is easy to cook and use it with our oil. It steams very well and doesn't overcook vegetables. I work nights for seven years and didn't enjoy cooking. So, when I do, I am starting back again because of the pots and pans. I know that Royal Prestige has made me and my husband very happy.

The cookware that we got from Royal Prestige doesn't burn anything. It's a delight to use and we love everything about it. We have the big Dutch cooker, the frypan, slicer, knives, bowls, pots, and pans. The quality is very good and the warranty on the whole system is exceptional. It's been a very good experience and an excellent company to work with. We've bought twice from them and have spent quite a few thousands. I am really glad that we purchased from them.

I liked the salesman from Royal Prestige very much. He wasn't pushy. I knew what I wanted and he demonstrated it. So I bought my wife a saucepan. We want to eat more vegetables and we like the taste of the vegetables cooked in waterless cookware. Also, my wife finds the cookware very easy to clean. I get to dry the pot and put it away. It's nice and has got a good weight to it.

Royal Prestige is top quality. I love their stuff. I can cook waterless and there are so many pieces that it's a complete set. Everything works well together. I work out of a garage apartment and do a lot of cooking there and it gives me everything including a little bit of an oven. When my induction top went out and I had a skillet that didn't sit flat they were replaced immediately so customer service was excellent. There is a learning curve. At first, I couldn't figure out how to cook with the cookware but now I'm getting the hang of it so it's easy to cook and clean. Overall, Royal Prestige is excellent.

The people from Royal Prestige went to my grandmother's apartment and know that she had a stage 4 cancer sold her pots, a water filter and something else making her pay thousands of dollars. She passed away and they want me to take responsibility for the account if I want to know how much she paid and pay the remaining balance. For me that is stealing because you don't go to someone who is dying to take away the little money they have and make the family responsible.

We really like Royal Prestige. We purchased the cookware that had the slicer, then we got the knives. We've had it for at least six months now and since then, we've started eating a little healthier since it can cook with less oil. I like that the vegetables don't cook down and taste really, really good. It's a high quality product. I don't regret it at all. They polish up nice just like they were still brand new so we are completely happy with it.

I needed a new cookware and was tired of buying the same old stuff from stores. That's why I bought from Royal Prestige. I've had their cookware since October and the main thing that I like about it is that anything that I put in it doesn't stick. I also got their vegetable slicer thing where you spin the handle and put a little nose thing on it - it's nice and nifty. They're good quality and I'm hoping it'll last for the duration of my lifetime. I wasn't a believer at first but I'm impressed with Royal Prestige.

I began with Royal Prestige many years ago, and I’ve had the cookware set for many years. Then I went to the House & Garden Show in Tulsa where Royal Prestige had a booth set up, so I reordered some new cookware, and that’s how I knew about their other products. The quality is superb. I love that they are made very well. They are durable, they work perfectly, and do exactly how they are supposed to. They are expensive but it’s worth the money.

We've not had that experience.

My husband and I purchased multiple pieces of Royal Prestige stainless cookware in January of 1996... 6 months before our wedding. We saw them at a bridal show and were interested in hearing and seeing more. These were a gift to ourselves because we were completely sold on the thought that we would never need to buy another set of pots and pans again. We paid $1000 back then.
20 Years later and our pots and pans still look stunning. We use them daily. To us it was money well spent and we have no regrets. I've only had to request 2 replacement steam valves in 20 years so I'd say they are doing the job we were promised. I do have to admit that the salesman left a bit to be desired. Very high pressure and even a bit rude but we were and still are very savvy consumers and in the end we paid hundreds less than he originally wanted.

I'm on a weight lifting diet and I wanted to get the bigger frying pan with the handles on both sides so I could do veggies and chicken because I work out. I had a hard time using mine at first but I seem to be doing okay with it now. I've had it since September but I haven't experimented with a lot of stuff in it because I eat chicken everyday. The salesperson came to our house and showed the product to us and we bought it because it seemed like a good idea to purchase at that time. It's supposed to be a healthier way of cooking. You don’t lose all the nutrients. However we have to completely change the way we cook in order to use them and that’s a very difficult process to change. The sizes of the pots and pans that we have aren’t the sizes that we were previously using so we found that we can't make larger quantities of food like we've done in the past. We have to use our old pots and pans for that.
The pot is stainless steel and you're not supposed to clean it with scouring pads so there's always a film left inside, on the bottom. You can't normally boil things in the pot and leave the ring around the side of the pan. We're still not exactly sure why we have a bottle of the cleaner that’s supposed to polish the outside when we're not sure how we're supposed to clean the inside if we can't use scouring pads. We tried using the lead with the steamer thing on it that, once it starts to get hot, it's supposed to close that steamer and then seal the pot but it doesn’t seal the pot lead. Steam still comes out around the sides of the lead. So it doesn’t seem to be cooking that way either.
Also, they say we're supposed to be able to stack all these pots on top of each other to cook things. But we haven't really figured out how to do that and there seems to be no kind of customer service or there's no information on the internet on how to use them. I've gone online looking at different websites but there really is nobody out there that seems to be able to give instructions on how to use these better. The handout that we got with the pots really doesn’t give much information, and the CD is not helpful enough. It is old and outdated.
We're not happy with the Royal Prestige cookware and wished we haven't spent the money on them. When we first got the item, one of the steamers was busted, so the salesman sent us two steamers right away because he said that the steamer plug tends to break. That doesn’t bode well with the product when you get it and it's already broken. It didn’t break in shipping and was packed broken and sent to us.

I would recommend Royal Prestige to anyone. I purchased their cookware and it came at the end of October. However, one of the items was damaged. The skillet's leg was broken off or it never had been soldered on. They took it back and gave me a new one and it was fine. It was also odd that one of my pans is not as smooth on the inside with the other pans. It's a little rough when I wash it with a rag and I'll feel it with my hands. Other than that, I've already used the cookware and they're great. I'm amazed at how the skillet cleans after use with just water. Rub it and it just comes off. The demonstration shows that and I couldn't believe it, but it works. With the shredder, I've used it and love it but I don't get the same results as the guy who showed us how to do it. It seems to pulverize instead of just shred when I do it. It said to watch the video but I haven't, so that's probably my fault.

I bought cookware from Royal Prestige because of the no water, no grease type thing. However, I am finding it a little bit difficult. Eggs, for instance, stick to the pan terribly. In fact, I considered going and buying a little non-stick pan just for eggs. Because once they stick on there, it is really hard to get it off. But it depends on what you're cooking because it seems that some things come off easy. But the eggs are my biggest problem because my family likes over-medium eggs and I can't make six of them in one pan. However, I like cooking pork chops and chicken with them because they don't dry out like it does in a normal pan. I've had the cookware since August and I find them easy to use. The first time we purchased with Prestige, I didn't like it. So after a couple times of using it, I hate to say I wasted hundreds of dollars. I gave it away or threw it out. Then we saw them at the state fair. I sat and watched the demonstration this time because we're trying to have a healthier lifestyle and that includes trying to eat better. The lady was nice and after the demonstration, she talked to us and I appreciate that she had taken the time out to answer questions. That was the determining factor so we agreed to try it again. She said we can call her.
I just got with those pans and I cannot get them cleaned. It doesn't ever get as clean as it initially is. And I don't mean the outside because my husband's able to use that cleaner thing to get the outside cleaned. But the inside always gets colored. So we've been using it and because we spent so much money on it we're gonna keep using it and give it a longer try than a few times. So I'm not totally disappointed because we're still using it but I don't understand how come we can't get it cleaned because I don't want to hang up pots and pans that aren't all silver and looking nice. Hopefully I can learn to get it cleaned so I'm optimistic. We also like some things as far as how it cooks. We noticed that the noodles, the pasta, taste different. However, I don't like how it cooks our cabbage but we're getting used to it. It's just a whole different way of cooking.

I'm not happy with Royal Prestige. I have a fry pan and it's probably tougher. It had some marking from pasta so I called and told somebody about it. He told me how to clean it but I couldn't get it clean. He told me to use a bartender cleaner, which is a powder, but I haven't bought that yet. Also, I haven't done all the steps I was told and I probably need to learn how to cook differently as well. I did use vinegar and water and I got the pasta spots out of it.

I don't have a great experience with Royal Prestige because when I bought whatever was on display and what I wanted, they sent me a much smaller size. I probably have to talk to them maybe 15 to 20 times. After that, they were constantly calling me. I didn't open the package and I didn't use the skillet but they were damaged. It looks like they gave me completely bad information because I didn't touch it and put it on a new package. They try to sell me another size and make base with two skillets. It's another $300 so I was really upset. I don't know those 50 years warranty and for the price I paid, I can buy the same product at Costco for $15.
They demand another $300 and telling me wrong information that I broke and did something to the skillet which is unacceptable. I was really upset and I would never recommend them. Maybe the product is good but I just used one type of skillet for omelet. Even the purchasing process was completely unacceptable on any scale. I paid credit card upfront, same product and as of it, I couldn't get out of the deal. For two months, they're calling me every day and leaving messages.

Jamie worked with me to meet a birthday deadline and did exactly what he promised. I contacted him several times before and after the sale to help with a few things and he has been incredibly responsive and gracious with his time. We loved our 9-ply pots we got from Royal Prestige a few years back. They looked great and cooked our food perfectly. All this came to a stop when we received a recall notice which included all of our pots and pans. We've sent them in only to find out they made a 1/2 inch hole on the side of each pot and plug it with a rubber nub. Paying so much for these pots, a rubber plug made them look cheap. But we loved our pots so we learned to live with them. A few months after received the modified fix, our pot popped in the oven which sounded like a explosion. From what I can tell, water went in the pot from the hole they drilled which cause a lot of pressure to build which made the pots pop up when the rubber nub shot out. Needless to say, created a big mess in the oven. My wife will no longer use these expensive pots even on the stove top due to the hazard it possess.
We again called Royal Prestige and they want to replace them for a 5-ply set with a voucher for the difference in price. This to me is unacceptable. If I wanted a 5-ply I would have purchased a 5-ply. We were sold these pots and pan with the impression of a lifetime guarantee to be replace if they ever go bad with same product of a similar value. 5-ply is not a the same. I called 800-609-9577 which are no help. Why can I get a 9-ply? If they don't live by their guarantee then they should offer a Full Refund!

I am furious with this company. I had purchased a 9 ply 7 piece cookware set and paid the premium price for that set February 15, 2011. (Over $2000 dollars). I have received a recall letter stating that the items were unsafe and to stop using them immediately. They gave all the prepaid info to send them to participate in the safety recall. The recall stated it is limited to replacement only, which is fine by me. I sent them in and within a week I received new items. The new replacement items were not what I had sent in. The box came yesterday, and to my surprise, they were replaced with 5ply pans.
I called customer service today, (the following day) and spoke to Debra at the 1-800-609-9577, she stated that is what they are being replaced with and that is what I get and I need to settle with this. This is unacceptable. I had the option of purchasing 5 ply at the time of sale and DID NOT want a 5 ply set. That is why I purchased the 9 ply set. I expect back what I sent in, not an inferior product. Someone needs to rectify this situation. They offer a $234.96 voucher for any of their merchandise. The difference between the 5 ply & 9 ply sets have far exceed the lousy credit voucher. I will be waiting for a response.

I shipped all of them back like they requested and called back with a tracking number and was told I would get a free gift for the trouble. The new pans arrived yesterday and I discovered they replaced my 9 ply with a much much cheaper 5 ply pan. These pans feel less sturdy than my Walmart pans. I am very dissatisfied and angry about this. There is no way the chicken roaster that they sent me is worth the difference in cost. I've had no problems with my Royal Prestige cookware, although I haven't gotten to use it as often as I wanted to. I like it and my son likes to use it too. I got it after I was impressed with the demonstration at our local state fair. When I wanted to go ahead and purchase it, I had no problems getting off the layaway. Everybody was nice, so I had a good experience. I like the health benefits of the cookware. I don't have to use oil or grease and still get a nicely cooked chicken. It's of good quality too.

After speaking with Carolyn at the Customer Care center, she was able to resolve my problem immediately. I just wished that it didn't have to take this long and for me to find a web post where my concerns were heard. I received my new Innove cookware from Royal Prestige and immediately used it, they are great! I highly recommend the Innove cookware and NOT the 5-ply.
Thank you, Carolyn, for helping us out! I am giving them 4 stars as the problem was resolved in a matter of a 3 minute conversation over the phone with Carolyn. The Innove cookware is a 5 star cookware. The first customer service Supervisor, Daniella **, receives 1 star.

First of all, I am not a person that writes reviews a lot. I only write them when I am extremely satisfy with the product or service, or like in this case Extremely Dissatisfied. My wife and I bought the 9-ply, 10 piece set cookware of Royal Prestige back in 2009. We spent over $2,000. A few years ago, they had a recall and we send them to get a hole puncture on the pans/pots and cover it with a rubber stopper. A month ago (08/15), my wife was boiling some water on one of the quart-size pods and the rubber plug exploded out. The following morning I called Royal Prestige to find out they were on a recall. I had to send all my 9-ply except my 12-QT. I always found strange that my 9-ply, 12-QT pod was thinner than all of my other 9-ply. But who knows why?
We were very happy with the way the 9-ply was cooking even after they were recall and a hole with the rubber plug was in them. They told me over the phone that the only cookware they had was the 5-ply. I asked if they still had the 7-ply and the customer service team told me that the only one they had was the 5-ply and because of the trouble and LESS value they will give me a voucher. Due to the fact that the pans were on a recall and that the rubber plug exploded out meanwhile cooking I had no choice but to go ahead and change it. I got back my 10 piece, 5-ply pots and pans only (no covers) with a 8-QT as my compensation.
After using one of the pans I notice a BIG difference in the cooking. I also notice a HUGE difference in the construction, quality and thickness of the 5-ply. I then did a little more research and found out that Royal Prestige do have another brand called, INNOVE. With more research I then was able to find someone, with a INNOVE cookware. I was able to try it, see it and comment about it. I concluded that the INNOVE cookware is as great as the 9-ply. The 5-ply looks, feels and cooks like my $3 non-stick pan from IKEA.
I called back to customer service to express my disappointment and talked to Arthur, a customer service representative as well as Daniella **, Customer Service supervisor. I explain how disappointed I was and all they had to say is that what I receive it's what the warranty allows. I do know that warranties for the most part, especially on a recall product, will exchange it for the same quality or better. In this case it's not the same quality as I was given a voucher for the difference. I told them that all I want is the same quality of product and that I am willing to give all my 5-ply 10 piece set and the 8-QT that I got, just for the 10 Piece INNOVE. Daniella then went on to say that according to the Consumer Service Commission that's all they can do.
I feel that Royal Prestige doesn't do right to their customers. I believe that I am not asking nothing more than what I should be getting which is a product of the same quality as I originally bought. I was even told that the INNOVE system is more money and I even said that I will pay the difference which is around $450 more to receive the same quality of product I originally bought. Again, Daniella said NO! I was a big supporter and always talked great things of my Royal Prestige cookware. After receiving this 5-ply set and the customer service not being able to honor what's right, it's going to be very hard for me to recommend anyone on their product. I highly recommend to watch out and beware of this company and how they treat their customers. I feel that I just wasted $2000 on a product that I could have gotten for a fraction of the price.

When my wife and I first got engaged, we got a letter in the mail telling us we'd won some travel getaway and can show up to a hotel to pick it up. We figured we'd have to sit through some sales demonstration or something, and even though the letter said explicitly that this was not the case, when we arrive, there is a two-hour demonstration of the cookware. The salesman was very forceful, and I cannot describe in words just how pushed we were to apply for credit and buy these pans. Weak, we did.
A few weeks later, the pots and pans arrived. We read the instructions very carefully for care and use. We read the recipe books and watched the enclosed DVD. These pans do not do anything special. They do not allow for water-less or grease-less cooking any more or less than regular pans. They are not non-stick. The plastic pieces, like the steam whistle, are not very durable and will break and fall off over time.
That all being said, how disgusted I am at the sales tactics, and my weakness in buying them when we were so broke, I freaking love these pans. No, they are not some futuristic sci-fi magic pans, but cared for and used just like any other pot and pan they are fantastic. They are durable. The heavy 5-ply metal heats quickly and retains heat. Whether I'm making sauce or gravy, or just boiling pasta noodles, they have performed better, and longer, than any other pan we've owned. We've been married now for 10 years, with three kids, and I do the majority of the cooking (dads in kitchens unite!) and I will never give up these pans.
Once, moving a few years ago, it looks like a box with all the lids got lost (haven't seen them in years). I can't just buy the lids, and I really don't want to buy a whole new set of pots and pans because the ones we have are like brand new. The website doesn't allow you to purchase anything, you have to go through a distributor (and because of the horrendous sales tactics, I'd really rather not), so I guess I'm stuck with what I've got. Don't buy the hype, don't buy the magic properties of these pans because they don't exist. If you need some solid pans that will stand the test of time, these are great. Perhaps a little overpriced, with an inconvenient service system in place, but still, the best I've ever owned.

Although, we are happy with the outcome we rate this business three stars due to the hassle we had to endure for the company to accept our cancellation.
Original Review: Sept. 5, 2015
On 7/30/2015, we purchased a set of pots from a couple of Royal Prestige sellers. This transaction was conducted in Spanish as the sellers and Jose speak primarily Spanish. Jose does not know how to read as he has never received any education & Carolina (wife) speaks primarily English but does not read Spanish therefore relied on the seller's explanation of the sales order and contract. The sellers said we had the option to customize our payments to fit within our budget. When we asked about the interest rate, the seller's said that it was based on our credit & that we would be contacted by the company after he submits our application within a few days. We told him that if the interest rate was high we would not proceed with the sale. Sellers assured us it was a minimal and low %.
The seller pointed to where we needed to sign and did not say anything about a cancellation policy. After, the seller folded our copies and placed them in an envelope. Sellers said we would get a call from the company & after that within 7-10 business days the product should arrive. We received the product within a few days however needed to wait until the seller could come by and clean the product prior to use upon the sellers returning from vacation. On 8/17/15, we received a statement in the mail in Spanish so we contacted Royal Prestige's customer service to inquire about the terms. We were informed that the interest rate is 21% and that it states it on the credit application. We were informed about a 3 day cancellation timeframe so we're no longer eligible to cancel. We were directed to contact the cancellation department for an exception.
On 8/18/2015, the cancellation department denied our request as we were advised the issue was our fault for signing a contract we could not read. The sellers spoke with their supervisor and informed us that they were unaware about the cancellation policy or that it is on the sales order. Additionally, the seller realized he was explaining the credit terms incorrectly, he apologized and said he took full responsibility however his Supervisor said we could not cancel the order. Hy Cite Finance reports that due to a signed sales order that was verified and all of the sales orders coming with a carbon copy in English as well as Spanish for the customer to read in regards to the 3-day cancellation policy, we are responsible for this order. The fact of the matter is that the terms to the contract were relayed incorrectly.
Furthermore, the seller did not accurately complete the cancellation notice as he did not insert a date or his information and did not inform us about the notice either. The seller failed to disclose all material terms and conditions affecting this sale including the credit terms nor was the credit application and sales order written both in English and Spanish for us to understand. We have requested several times to return this product so a credit can be issued to the finance company and a refund of our down payment be issued.

Since Carolina never read the English or Spanish versions of the Notice of Cancellation policy, she was unaware of the requirements for cancellation. Once we were able to review the contracts with her, we made her aware of her ability to cancel the purchase.

Royal Prestige never showed any sign of age, dent, or discoloration. They’re built like a Mack truck. My first set was almost forty years old and it’s the only cookware set I’ve had in my house ever since then. And every time I moved, it went with me. When I went to the home and garden show I was surprised to see that they were still in business and ultimately ran into the person who sold me my initial set.
I recently bought a second set and used the electric fry pan several times and very much like it. I also love the bowls set but I do have a small problem with it and its plastic lids. I find that the lids do not fit very well and extremely hard to get on. Every time I use them, I have to tell my husband to put the lid on for me because I do not have the grip to get it to mold properly on to the bowl set. I’ve been dealing with an ill parent and haven’t had it in the forefront of my mind to stop and make that phone call. But I know when I do, I know they’ll handle it appropriately.

I purchased Royal Prestige Cookware because they said you can roast beef and chicken in a pan, let it sit there and you don’t have to use a ton of oil or water and it shouldn’t come off without leaving anything behind. And I wanted to go with something that didn’t have any kind of coating on it in order not to worry about eating particles floating in my food. When I use the electric skillet, I put the plug in, push the power button, set the temperature, and the next thing you know the food’s not even cooking because the plug is almost like it pushed its way out.
I had to keep the probe in the side and fix something heavy behind it to hold the plug in place. I haven’t had a chance to get it sent back off yet, but I’m disappointed because I have paid to ship that heavy thing and they didn’t have it looked at. They should know how much it’s going to cost or how much it weighs so they should be able to pay shipping from my zip code to theirs, and they should be able to mail me a prepaid postage bar code. But I’m not completely angry with them because so far everything else has been good and I’ve had good luck with my other cookware pieces. I’m pretty pleased.

Also, I wanted to learn more about how to use the cookware and they said that they had classes on it. However, I've never heard anything from them since I last bought it.
