I'm very satisfied with Rollup Awnings. It was $5,300 for an awning, which was pretty expensive. But you get what you pay for. I have a beautiful home on the golf course. I have a pool and an eating area where I have a table and four chairs. I wanted something other than an umbrella, because that blows out of the table sometimes and a lot of things could happen with that. I wanted something that would be more stable for me, being in my 95th year also.

I used to have two trees but they were taken down and so I got a remote control awning from Rollup Awnings in a striped tan and burgundy color. I like that it's enclosed and I got more shade now. Rollup Awnings did a good job and I'd tell others to get one if they could afford it.

We recently invested in an awning for our backyard deck. We researched several companies and found Rollup Awnings had a superior product in strength and durability. Our awning was installed 12 weeks ago and it has performed well, even in wind and rain. The sales team was friendly and helpful and most importantly, NOT high pressure, the installers were very professional. We are very pleased with our investment in our awning and in our choice of Rollup Awnings.

My place lacked shade. I went to Rollup Awnings' showroom and saw something that I wanted. Working with their reps was all right and I wound up buying a regular awning. Other people should get one.

Rollup Awnings in Holbrook NY has a great show room. The salesman was professional and very informative, and not high pressure. The product is high quality, you will not find a better build product. Installation was great, very neat. I highly recommend this product and company, 5 stars.

We get a lot of sun in our backyard and I've seen the advertisements of Rollup Awnings in the newspaper. We wanted to go into them first but we still looked at a couple of different options before we went with them. From the purchase to the installation, everything went very well. I have no complaints and the awning is working very well. We've been very happy with the product so far, so all's good.

The Rollup Awnings was very helpful when picking which awning to go with but the gentleman who was helping us in the showroom also came to do the measurements and he neglected to tell me about the placement and that there would be a possibility where it couldn’t go there. So when they installed it, the installers were not able to do it. However, there was no other option but to leave it or lose my deposit if I refused it. So, I kept it and spent all that money for pretty much a decoration 'cause it wouldn’t do what I was expecting it to do where the shade was gonna be. Other than that, everybody, even as far as the people who installed it, was fine. It’s a good product, but I’m not happy with where it is placed.

I had a Rollup awning put in my former house 28 years ago. It was a large awning, so when I moved to the townhouse 10 years ago, I always had in mind to get a smaller awning on my small deck here. I finally got it done this year. In my house, I got the awning for the rain and shade. But here, I couldn’t put it up as the same angle, so I can only use it for shade, not in the rain. Still, it's wonderful. The two men that installed it were very good. They did a great job and they worked well together. The first guy that came to assess it and gave me the price made some errors, but they were corrected by the office. I've been very pleased with the Rollup product I got and working with the office as well.

I had an excellent experience with Rollup Awnings. I made a dog run and the turf heated up to about 20 degrees hotter than anywhere else so I needed to protect the dogs from it. I did an internet search for awning companies and Rollup Awnings had positive reviews. Also, their customizations made sense and they didn’t push them down my throat. They told me that they could do this and that but I chose all the options.

When I had an awning that needed to be replaced, I saw a Rollup Awnings ad and it made me think that they could do the job. The salesperson was great and I was able to make customizations to the unit. There was a nice selection of fabrics. The people who installed the unit were very nice. They came and installed the awning and it all went well. However, I'm less protected from the rain than I was with my old awning. The awning sits high off my roof. It has rained here a few times and the water comes through the fabric and it bounces off the roof. My old one held the rain off better. I wish the awning would stay a little drier when it rains.

The Rollup Awnings place was right on Long Island and that's where I am. I’m also really glad this other awning company didn’t get back to me because I’ve found out that two of my friends have had Rollup Awning for years and have been 100% satisfied. And our experience with them has been absolutely phenomenal. The gentleman that showed me everything happened to be a part owner. I picked the scalloped edge awning and a very common color, and he said that it was one of the best colors. It’s called Fort Salonga, which happens to be a name of the town near me. I absolutely liked the appearance of what I picked. And I also like that I can roll it back manually in case of emergency. When they came to do the installation, they looked my house over and they were clean, neat and efficient. They also said that their stuff was guaranteed. They didn't leave a mess on my patio and they cleaned up every inch of the shaving from the metal.

There’s sun beating down on my deck and I have little baby grandsons, so I need shade. Rollup Awnings was recommended by a family member and working with the rep who came here was seamless and fine. He listened to my needs and pointed me in the right direction as far as the design. We use our awning every single day, and we roll it up every single night and when it rains.

The salesman was very, very nice. I wanted an awning to go over my table and that was what I got. The installer was very nice too. I paid top dollar because I got the awning in the spring. I was very happy with Rollup, but I wasn’t happy with the price so much. I should have waited a little bit to get a better deal. I see the advertisements now and you get so much more off.

Rollup Awnings seemed like they had a good product and the guy the came over did a great presentation. They did everything they said they were gonna do. They were on time and very professional. I was very, very happy with them. We use the awning every day and it's working great.

I went through four canopies and after that, I wasn’t spending the money anymore on those. My next-door neighbor has Rollup Awnings and also, I saw it in the papers. We went to Rollup two years ago and they were wonderful which made us go back and purchase from them. We also went to SunSetter but everything about Rollup was manufactured so much better. I let the sales rep pick out the bricks around the pool. I told him the colors of my patio, my deck, my siding and my pool. I brought pieces at home and it matched my bricks, siding and window. It was perfect. The sun comes into my house so I put the awning out and I use them at parties too. People should get it.

This is the second awning we have had over our back deck. It is the first time we used ROLLUP AWNINGS as a company. The representative was very upfront with his presentation and his display of samples that he brought with him. He made some very positive suggestions on what would be best for us. The finished product was ready to install even earlier than predicted. The two best things about the awning was the increase in size and the remote control for opening and closing. It's a lifesaver. The coordination between the company and the electrician was done in a very timely manner and all workers were extremely neat and efficient. We look forward to years of enjoyment with the awning and know that the company stands behind their product.

I waited a long time to get an awning and Katherine really wanted one. I wanted to go with someone local and somebody that was made better. Rollup Awnings are on Long Island, they're made here and I heard good things about them so we bought one from them. The salesman was very helpful and everything was right on point. The installation was good, fast, efficient, and it works fine. We're very happy with it and I'd recommend them to anyone who wants to spend a lot of money.

We had a Rollup awning about 20 years ago and we were very happy with it so we ordered a new one. I called on the phone and then we made an appointment. They came to the house, took the measurements, and we ordered. Their team was wonderful, too. If I will need one in the future, I will certainly go with Rollup again. The whole process was excellent.

I went in randomly to the Rollup Awnings store and I happened to get there when they were showing an older couple a demonstration of their awning and I sat in on it. The salesman was absolutely terrific. He was very thorough and he explained everything for an hour and a half. They have a lot of patterns and quite a few fabric options. I bought an awning from them and they made an appointment. Then their men came when they were supposed to and they put the awning up, and they did the job cleanly and neatly.

I have a new awning purchased from Rollup Awnings. Their construction was much more secure and it was chain-driven so I went with it. I was impressed by the professionalism of their team and my interaction with them was terrific. Also, the installers were capable and very pleasant to work with.

A Rollup Awnings location is near where my brother lives and I've passed by it many times. My brother has an awning from them which he got one a number of year ago and he loves it. I've also seen it in action so I was familiar with it. Then because we have sun that comes glaring down on our backyard, I needed something to shade it. I went to the location and they have nice, pleasant people. They showed us what models they had and we took what fit our needs. We got an awning that has a motor and a remote. Now, we use it almost every time yup. I had a very good with Rollup Awnings and I'd recommend it.

Great investment for our home. The salesman was very informative and personable. Our order was placed and the awning was installed within 3 weeks time. The 3 installers were courteous and professional and were in and out in an hour. We can now sit on our deck in the afternoon without the sun beating down. What a pleasure!

When I went to the showroom all of my questions were answered with very understood answers. They said about 3 weeks in less than 2 I set up an installation date. On the day of installation the work crew was very polite and energetic in the work they were performing. When installation was complete I was give clear instructions. I would highly recommend this company, and I have some of my neighbors.

We took down a big tree and we lost all our shade for the backyard so it was time to get an awning. We saw Rollup Awnings in a paper advertisement and we purchased a standard one. It’s motorized and we use it occasionally to give us shade. It’s expensive but I haven’t experienced any problems.

And having read and seen Rollup Awnings' stuff, I thought that they offered the best stuff among the awning companies. I live in a condo that doesn’t come with awnings. We have been here for a couple of years now and we’ve been talking about purchasing an awning. At the same time, Rollup Awnings happens to be located in our town. So we had spoken to a few neighbors and one in particular was very happy with them. Then, we realized that the quality of the Rollup was so much better than the other ones that were popular so we decided to go with it. We dealt with their salesperson and he was professional and explained the benefits of it. While he's obviously trying to sell it, we found what he said to be truthful. It’s very durable and great looking. Furthermore, we had spoken with some other companies and we had seen some of the quality of the fabrics that they used. We thought that works good, and then, we saw the quality of Rollup's fabric and it was crazy. It was so much thicker and richer that you would ask what are the others are using.

I had used Rollup about 15 years ago at a different house. And since their product is better than the others, I decided to purchase a brand new awning when I redid my backyard. The salesman was great and the installers were fine, and I was able to customize the size and color of my new awning. It is a blue and 13 feet long motorized awning that works great. So far I use it whenever I'm out there to block the sun. Overall, everything worked out fine with Rollup. The service is great and the installation was prompt.

I've had bird problems and I like the way the Rollup Awnings' system is that the birds wouldn't come. Buying the awning was no hassle and the rep came to the house. However, I was disagreeing to change the whole thing. Everything worked fine other than I had to change my actual canvas. That was $3,000 but I said, given the bird problem and the previous awning which we had for 18 years, maybe I could get 18 years out of this one. We've used the awning quite a few times now and I'm 100% satisfied with it.

We have known about Rollup Awning for years but never had the money to do it. It's expensive but you get what you pay for and I would recommend them. So I called Rollup Awnings and the gentleman came. He measured and then people came and did what they did and installed the awning. I had an awning for years and the company that I got it from wouldn’t fix it without coming out and wouldn’t even keep selling me the parts without someone coming out and looking at it for 300 bucks and I was able to fix that awning before. So I just threw the thing away and it has been about seven years since I had an awning and it was time to buy one. I researched online and liked that Rollup Awnings is a local company. The purchasing experience was the typical high-pressure-sales type of thing but it was all right. I got a standard awning in a different color and it’s open every day when it’s not raining or windy. It keeps the sunlight from coming into the kitchen keeping the kitchen cool.

My previous awning fell down and I bought a new one from Rollup Awnings. They're local and they have quality. They gave us a remote control to roll the awning up and down and the customer service I received was excellent. I had my 75th birthday party in June and we had about 60 people. My friend recommended Rollup Awnings because he has one at his house. They have a sales office in Long Island where I live so I went there and picked out the fabric. The owner came here and measured then the install team came. I have a lot of furniture on the deck and I’m handicapped, and they were able to move it for me. The people from Rollup Awnings were wonderful. I can't say enough nice things about them. I've only had the awning for a month but I’ve gotten a lot of use out of it so I’m happy with it. I like to paint outside and now, I can do it in the shade and I don’t have to wait until 4 o’clock in the afternoon. I would recommend them without a doubt.

My deck is very high and the sun is there during the morning and afternoon. My mother told me to invest in an awning and Rollup was in the area that I used to patrol so I went to their store. A rep told me about the colors and a lot of different things about their products. He told me that I could have the Cadillac awning or I could go for a cheap awning. And looking at the way it was, I went with the Cadillac awning. I love it. They told me I could customize it and that if I wanted a remote control, I could have one. They said I could even put it on the wall like a TV remote. And if my power goes out, I could get the pole out that they gave me and crank it close.

And then we went back and he opened up a lot of the awnings so we could get a good feel for what it’s like. It’s hard when you buy that other one, you can’t see it. You’re seeing a picture. So here, I was actually able to see the awnings and once I saw it opened that was when I fell in love with it.

We had an aluminum awning removed and we needed to replace the awning and update it big time. Rollup Awnings seemed like a reputable brand and it’s local so we figured we'd go with them. I sat down with their reps for a while and went over everything, and they explained very well about the motor and the qualities, plus the service of the materials and styles. Everybody that we spoke with was very helpful and the whole experience was very good.

We’ve used Rollup Awnings for many years. We picked them out of the yellow pages and we’ve had a relationship with them even before the internet. They did a good job the first time and we stayed with them. We’ve had several jobs with them through the years. We purchased a new awning from them about four years ago. We called them up and we asked for a quote for the main awning. We had gotten some other quotes to make sure that the Rollup Awnings rep was in the same ballpark and he came in reasonable. He wasn’t the lowest, but he was not too far off the low and we decided to stay with them. We replaced the main awning with a motorized one. The installers were very quiet and didn’t cause any disruption. We didn’t even know they were there and they did their job very efficiently and professionally.

Rollup Awnings was expensive. I thought it was right from the factory and that it would be more reasonable. I’ve used it and the quality is okay, it serves its purpose. It’s still good, it's still working but I don’t know if I will go back to them. They installed it and they did a good job. However, I'd tell others to shop around.

My Rollup Awning has been great. I went with this them because they made the awnings larger than the other popular one made -- SunSetter didn’t come in the size I needed to cover my deck. I had the length and width and the depth of it customized. My wife and I wanted an electric model, and they had a good selection of fabric for the canvas itself, and we enjoyed it. We chose the one we wanted to and then they came and put it in for us, so it has been good.

We had a large awning put in about 15 years ago and then we installed another one at the back five years ago. When the large one started to pull off the roof, Rollup Awnings had to come in to put some extra tie-downs on it because there was too much tension on the beam. They resolved it within half a day. The awning is not hanging off the side of the house, but it’s actually on a low-slung roof and it’s a fairly large piece. You can’t really leave it out, so you have to really pull it in if you have any kind of increment weather. So over time, this thing started to sag on it. But Rollup Awnings was great and they were very professional in everything they've done. I recommend them to anybody.

We got storm shutters from Rollup Awnings in 1990, then we recently purchased a new unit last year. I called them, they came to the house and measured, then they gave me a quote and we went ahead and did the job. They did a great a job and also have a good quality product. Everything was great in our interactions with the Rollup Awnings team. It was an excellent experience and I highly recommend them. We are very happy and may they continue the good work.

Rollup Awnings don't ignore you like a lot of places do when you walk into a store, and purchasing from them was a painless process. I told them the size we needed and I picked out the color. They made it and then they came and installed it. And they had a special when we bought our awning where we got the motor with it. We had no shade in the backyard before, but now we can sit out there in the rain and in the sun. We get the hot afternoon sun and it protects us from that. I also liked that if it gets windy, the awning closes. I don't have to worry about it ripping off the house.

I put in my awnings up and down every year and I didn't want to be putting them up in the spring and taking them down in the winter, so I put rollups up. There is a local dealer that advertised Rollup Awnings so I went there, compared them to a couple of other people, then had them do it. I'm happy I did it with Rollup Awnings and I'd tell others it would be a good decision to go with them.

I bought this Rollup Awning four to five years ago. We were in the market to get an awning and we went online and checked out who is in that business. We looked at Sunset Awnings then we looked at companies that are local, and Rollup is local to me. They’re out here in Suffolk County. We redid a room in the house that had a large sliding glass door that was going out to the backyard and steps were going out from it. So, we figured it would be a great idea to have an awning out there to protect us from the elements, the sun or whatever. I remember one of the principals came to the house and he had some mechanisms in the trunk of his car that actually showed how the Rollup Awnings mechanically work. And I was very impressed with the mechanical aspect of the Rollup Awnings. It looked like it was really solid made and wasn't flimsy so that the awning itself mechanically would work well.

We used a different awning and we had an issue with birds living in there. Rollup Awnings was supposed to be better for that but it turned out that it wasn't. They said their awning was supposed to help with the birds because of the design, but it didn't. They also said that we needed to get the foam rubber, the life raft that you use in the pool, those circular things. They said, “If you use those, they won't live there." But they were falling out and it was ridiculous. We also got a better fabric, figuring things wouldn't be as bad but we still have to clean it because it still gets moldy. We sent more money on this awning than the last because we were hoping that this would work, but it didn't solve the problem. We still have birds and I'm not happy about it.

We redid a new deck and we had an old, metal awning from the original owners. We needed a cover but we didn't want to do metal. So we decided to go with Rollup Awnings since we could take it up and down. Their fabric choices were great and the fabric that we got didn't rip. The guys that came were nice, too. One time, the awning broke and was left open. It was in the middle of the night and it was pouring rain so we didn't see it. We went to shut it but it didn't shut all that way. We decided it was time to get an awning. We face directly West and it was hot as hell in the summer. We tried umbrellas, but they didn't work as well. So, we basically stopped entertaining here in the hot summer months. I did some research online. Although Rollup Awning was a bit more expensive, it was a better product over SunSetter. I also liked that it is also made on Long Island rather than have it manufactured elsewhere because I live on Long Island. I like the idea of supporting the local economy. And then, I went to the showroom and thought they were professional there too.

I was tired of baking on my deck. I heard about Rollup Awnings through my grandfather. He had an awning installed at his house. I chose them based on the great customer service he had with them. My experience with Rollup Awnings was phenomenal from start to finish. They were very helpful. I went to their showroom and gave them some measurements. They came out, did a site survey, gave me an installation date and three and a half hours later, it was installed. I got the bigger motor and the remote for it. I'm absolutely happy with the fabric I picked.

We decided to have some replacements in the backyard, and rather than getting an umbrella, we just went with an awning, which would be better. It will really help us to enjoy the space better because we get the full sun in the backyard. Nobody would ever sit in the area that we put it because the umbrella didn't do the job. We’ve heard about Rollup awnings from a few people, so we decided to purchase from them since it is a family-owned business. Their salesman was very good and knowledgeable, and their installation people were also very knowledgeable and friendly. The awning came with the manual and automatic, and then we chose the cover for it. We had its fabric and style customized. However, since it's been cold and raining in New York, we have yet to open it. On the whole, it was a very good experience.

I got tired of throwing umbrellas out so we purchased an awning and Rollup Awnings was contracted for our development. We had two choices of colors since ours is a townhouse development. It has to be uniform so we had to go with what was decided on years ago. I called Rollup Awnings, the guy came and showed me the colors. I said, "This is what I want. Can you install it?" The electrician was very diligent in coming and installing the switch to open the awning. It is beautiful and we are very happy with it. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.

They came here, did a super job installing, then later the electrician came to hook everything up and it works perfectly. I have the automatic, remote control, where the whole awning disappears in the winter, well-protected from the outside world. It's custom-made. It looks great and people are impressed when they see. Two people who saw it said they might even consider doing the same thing I did. The experience was top notch from the introduction to the end.

It was getting hot on my deck because of too much sun. I went to Rollup Awnings’ local showroom to purchase a new awning and I spoke to their salesman and worked a deal. I picked my fabric and they installed it. It was a simple process. Rollup Awnings delivered what they had promised and I’ve had no problems with the awning. It's perfectly fine. When we sit out on our deck, we roll it out to keep the sun from beating on us. Unfortunately, the birds like to nest in it.

We are so happy with our Rollup Awning! Greg came to demonstrate the product (a fantastic demonstration, he is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the product!). We selected the color (so many to choose from!), he measured and explained the installation process. The installers were polite and competent. We are so happy with our awning! Rollup is the company you want to do business with! They know what they're doing, and they care about making you happy! We're pretty finicky, by nature, and have nothing but praise for Rollup and for Greg. You'll be happy with them, too.

We moved to a new house and we wanted to have the same look as the Rollup Awnings at our other house. So, we got the same size but different color for the new awning. I called Greg because we had a relationship from the first house, and he came over. We initially wanted to do one over the walkout. And then, we suggested to do and cover a bunch of other windows, so we went with a bigger size than we were initially gonna do. It's the 20-foot standard size. The installers were great. I didn't like the pitch initially. But they went back up and changed the pitch. So, it's a good experience. They're pricey, but it's a great product. My backyard has a huge built-in pool, a lot of landscaping and the sun shines that way for a good part of the day. We didn't want to have the shades down and not being able to see that. So, the awning down covers that and it's just a beautiful sight.

My son has Rollup Awnings that's an older one in the house he bought. We have a nice deck and it's very sunny in the back so we decided to get one too. We used it on Sunday, but it was very, very windy so we had to not use it. We've had it a couple of years now. It's still working well except when we couldn't use it.

I would never recommend this company. My husband and I bought their awning and it was installed around the July 4th Weekend of last year (2016). By Labor Day Weekend it collapsed! We had a very hard time scheduling a speedy inspection (they defended their delay by saying, "We're a big company with lots of installations"). When they did come they said it was our fault ("because you let it get rained on") and that we had to pay them $800 to have it repaired, even though we’d had the awning only two months.

We are so happy with our new awning. Rollup Awning did a great job. They are courteous & when they give you a date & time they stick to it. Clean-up after the job was done & I would highly recommend them.

We needed some more shade in the backyard and Rollup Awnings had a better presentation than another company I looked at. We went to their store to purchase the awning and there were some choices. We picked what we liked and what went with the other furniture. After we purchased the awning, they put everything up when I wasn't home. I was very pleased with them and the awning works great. It always does what it needs to do and it has an electric switch that they put inside the house. From start to finish, it was a quick and easy experience and they did a beautiful job.

We've been dealing with Rollup Awnings for many years. I replaced one awning once then I bought another one for a different part of the house. Rollup was very good and responsive. They came to the house, we showed them the situation, purchased the awning and they did it. They were very accommodating. They picked the color and the fabric. They did a good job and that's what counts. Both of the awnings were very similar to each other as far as how they were constructed. The only thing I don't like about it is when the sun gets later in the afternoon, it goes around the house and then sneaks in under the awning from the side. But there's not much that I can do with that and it's not their fault.

I have a deck at the back of my home and it faces west. The deck is unusable in the summer afternoon because it was too hot. The birds messed up our first awning from Rollup. We then went into their store and looked them over for our second one. We were able to pick out the color and how we wanted it. Everything was there so we told the man that we liked what we saw and we wanted to get one. It is automatic, but then they also gave the crank too. I felt pretty good because we enjoy it a lot especially on a nice sunny day when the sun is too hot and we're having a function out on the deck. We use the awning so the sun doesn't get into people's face or into their eyes. We just press the button then the thing rolls out and we're covered. It's very good.

We purchased from Rollup Awnings as the afternoon sun in our backyard is brutal and it will cook me if I want to sit out there. With the installation, I had my electrician do the electrical box. When the sun sets and I sit down to eat, the sun is right in my eyes. Rollup Awnings sells a screen which I can hang at the bottom of the awning, so that it makes almost like a 90-degree angle to catch that sun going sideways, and I'm thinking about doing that. I am satisfied with the product and the service and I would definitely recommend them.

With the other companies, I would have had to take it off, mail it back and it would have been a real production.

So the water's 50 feet in front of my house, but when the sun rises in the morning I get direct sunlight all day long from seven in the morning until six at night. My decking would get so hot one couldn’t even stand on it. But putting the awning was the best thing I did especially that I have babies. I could go out at the deck even in the rain and if it’s too hot I could put the awning out, which keeps the house cooler. The awning is large with 22 feet long by 15 feet out and it also covers part of my Jacuzzi. It’s a very good product and if I buy another house, I’m going to use them again. I’m very happy.

I talked to people at their main office and they were very good and responded quickly. The salesperson was a little bit blah, blah, blah but he did all right. We bought an awning with a power switch and we sit underneath it and have a great time.

It’s too hot on my back porch, so the sun beats on it. I don’t have any trees in the back, so I bought the awning. The guy from Rollup Awnings was nice when he came. But the awning didn’t work at one point. I guess it was because the outlet got wet. I didn’t know I had to reset the outlet. Other than that, Rollup was great to work with. They came when I asked them to and only took them a couple of hours to put everything up. The team worked together and they were terrific.

My deck has a Southern exposure, and it was unbearable to sit outside during midday. I was driving down the street, saw Rollup Awnings, and liked their colors and patterns so I bought from them. I like the awning. However, the last six inches are grimy and dirty because they don't get rolled up and I'm not happy with that part. But aside from that, it's okay. It does what it's supposed to. The umbrella wasn’t doing the job in our backyard, so we decided to purchase an awning. We went to Rollup Awnings and liked what they had. However, I had to wait for three weeks for the team at Rollup Awnings to come and fix it when it needed to be repaired. We use our awning when we have parties. We’re happy we got it as we get good use out of it.

We had three awning groups come in but the description and the type of awning that Rollup Awnings had was self-contained. There was a whole lot of features and it really cost more. The longevity of it and the way it was made just blew the other ones away. Their owner came by and was very knowledgeable. The awning looks great and it's fabulous because it's remote control. We open it up and it covers the entire patio so we're going to put a second one in.

Rollup Awnings has been around and is a good solid family company. I got an electric awning and everything's fantastic. Though there was an issue with it, they came out and replaced the whole material for free. The owner came out and analyze the situation and expedited to get it done for the July 4th holiday which was unbelievable for the turnaround time. Working with the people at Rollup have been very good, all around. They contact you prior and keep you informed. It's a good product and I'm very happy with my experience with them.

The rollup awning in the house we bought was getting old. We looked up Rollup out in Holbrook and took a ride out there. We had our original papers from the ex-homeowner and Rollup Awnings came to the house and removed the awning. They serviced it and reinstalled it. We had a little discrepancy with the switch and they gave me a switch for it. We had a little problem with the leveling, they came back and leveled it. The team was professional. I had no problem. It's a great product and there's no doubt about it. It's a little pricey but my awning was 20 years old and it worked as good as they were installed. Now I got new skin on it and it's like brand new awning.

A relative of ours had her house broken into and since we were about to go on vacation, we thought that Rollup Awnings was a good idea. We now have the awning in the kitchen going into the deck of the backyard. When we had a problem two months ago, our interactions with their team have been very good. They came when they said they would and were able to fix the broken latch. But I was told our awning's latch lasted a long time. It wasn't supposed to last as long as ours did so we got a lot of use out of it. We are very pleased with Rollup Awnings and I definitely would recommend them to anybody.

We didn't realize but we actually picked the color that matches our chairs. We were very happy with it. Also, everybody at Rollup Awnings was fine. We had the electrician come out and do the work, and we're satisfied with everything.

One of our family members used Rollup Awnings, so we also got our awning from them. It was a stock order and there wasn’t much customization, but we liked the fabric possibilities. We initially interacted with the rep at the office and then once again when he came to the house, and both cases went very well. He was very knowledgeable. We have used our awning in outdoor activities, and it has worked well. The whole experience was outstanding in every way.

I was concerned that SunSetter would look old because it's old school and kind of like grandma's house, but it's not.

They told us that they were going to set an appointment up in the morning and then they called the night before and told us it was going to be in the afternoon. I heard about Rollup Awnings through my condominium association. The product and installers were alright, but the small awning was overpriced and the electrician did a terrible job. The company gave me the service and told me to get the electrician, who drilled a lot of holes into the siding. He replaced it but I was not happy with the way he did it. When I called and explained to the company this situation they blew me off. I was talking to the wall and nothing got solved. I said, “That’s fine. You don’t have to worry about it" because when people come around my neighborhood, I will not recommend them. I'll say to them, “If you want them, you’ll have headaches." I will share my experience to people and let them judge for themselves.

When we went to see Rollup Awning's factory, we saw outstanding products and salesman. I'm very happy with the products. Rollup Awnings was terrific, on-time and professional. I would refer them to anybody.

Had a motorized retractable awning installed about a month ago. Everything went great from the minute we stepped into the showroom, and spoke with salesman, Arthur, to installation, to electrical hook up. We love our awning so much! When we moved into the house, there was a small, manual crank awning over the kitchen window, which we later found out was from Rollup Awnings 15 years ago! It is still in great shape! We are extremely satisfied with our awning, and would highly recommend this company.

I called Rollup Awnings and they came right away. Everything worked out exactly like they said. They had a big selection and they even showed all the different materials. We live in a gated community and they provided me with all information to apply and get approved for it. It went perfectly and what we got was customized. We use it everyday because we're in a place high up and off a pond and where the sun is tremendously strong. We have French doors so when the light comes in, it blinds us. We have to open the awning everyday around 3:00 o'clock and don't close it until at night about 7:00 or 8:00. Rollup Awnings were outrageously good. There was no hitch and it's great compared to the work and the issues I've been having with other contractors. I'm thankful I used them. They're a wonderful company.

I was looking for an awning. I checked a couple of different people and I liked the design of Rollup Awnings on their product. Also, my in-laws actually had them about 16 years ago. They are a great company to deal with and everything that the reps said they were gonna do, they did.

I got the almost high-end automated Rollup Awning. It cleans itself and it’s a good awning. The gentleman who came originally was very nice. He gave me a good rundown of the products and showed me a lot of samples. We went outside together and he showed me where I should put it and how far out it should go. He was really good and very knowledgeable. The guys who came to deliver and install didn’t leave any mess. Everything was done quickly. It was a great investment.

I purchased a motorized awning from Rollup Awnings and everything was what it's supposed to have been. I got to choose the fabric for the awning, and the service was terrific. Their customer service team is attentive and responsive if there are issues.

I went for the higher end awning from Rollup Awnings because I believe in buying once, buying right and many years of service. They installed it and I had a little issue afterwards when I got my electrician, but they stood behind the product. It seems to be quality installation they stood behind. So far so good. I’m ordering a second awning because I noticed it's much more efficient rather than trying to position umbrellas everywhere and storing up for the winter. Rollup Awnings seems to be a quality organization with quality materials and products, and I’m happy. I have recommended them in the last couple of days.

We purchased an awning because it just seemed like we had a need for it in our backyard and Rollup Awnings was good for us. I priced out and looked at a couple of other vendors prior to purchasing. And it seemed like their product was superior so that’s how I ended up going with them. Also, the great appeal was the fact that it was low maintenance. The salesman was very nice to work with. Due to the time of the year, we needed to schedule the installation about a month out. With a little pre-planning, hopefully, that would have shortened the timeline between purchasing it and getting it installed. But, otherwise, everything was a nice experience. Last night we used it even in the rain because it was designed to hold up during inclement weather.

After procrastinating about getting an awning, we finally decided to do it with Rollup Awnings after evaluating different designs and also due to word-of-mouth. We did see an ad in the newspaper and that triggered it, too. It has been a very good experience. My awning has a custom width so it fits the space exactly and got the motorized open and close feature, and I'm happy with it. Rollup seemed to have their act together - the salesman, installation crew, and even the electrician they subcontracted did a good job.

We got a good rating with the Better Business Bureau for Rollup Awnings and there were some good consumer comments at the ConsumerAffairs website. We went to them for the construction of the unit and we liked their product. It's good and beautiful, so we bought it. It's only been two weeks since I had it installed. However, I wasn't crazy about the customer service. They completely screwed up in setting up the electrician which they promised me. When you're spending $4,500, you expect a company to be driving on the spot and they weren't. They told me that I had to call them to find out what time the guy was coming here. But when I called to find out, I got an answering machine, and nobody called me back. Then as I was on the phone, the guy pulled up in front of my house.

I am very happy with my new Rollup Awning. When we went to the showroom, Arthur was very pleasant and informative. He thoroughly explained all the facets of the awning. Even about the installation. He answered our questions and was extremely knowledgeable about this product. The installers were also very nice guys. They quickly installed our awning, explained how it works, and cleaned up. Love my awning!!!

From the initial contact with the salesman, to the installation of our new awning, I was impressed with the professionalism of all the Rollup employees. They took the time to explain the features of the awning, suggested proper placement, and answered all of our questions.
