My wife and I purchased a Roll-up in 2012. For the first year, it was fine. After that, it continuously would not roll totally up, and sometimes down. We had Roll-up come out and adjust it numerous times, but it never stayed in adjustment. The motor burned out and they replaced it under warranty but it would never stay in adjustment. Out of warranty now they want $150 to come and adjust something that was never right. I would never recommend this company. Their equipment really never worked properly and they could never get it to stay adjusted. Very much disappointed.

We had an awning installed by Rollup Awnings earlier this year. It is a fantastic product - period. We had some leaking a short while after installation. The installers came back multiple times to try and figure out what might be happening, resealing bolts and brackets, though the leaking continued. Although there was no concrete proof that the awning installation caused the leaking, we worked out a plan where they uninstalled, let us do some roof work, then came back and reinstalled the awning. Everyone from the office staff to the installers were helpful, patient and courteous.

Our initial experience with Rollup was fine. However, service went downhill when we asked for a service call 2 years after installation to level the awning. After less than 5 minutes of inspection, the repairman informed us that the awning was fine but the roof was rotting. Upon further inspection, he realized that the awning had been installed incorrectly causing the issue with the roof. He presented us with a bill & told us they could take the awning down & put it back up again (for a hefty fee) after we arranged for someone to repair the roof. I had the roof repaired but have been unsuccessful in getting Rollup to service the awning since. They have not responded to emails or calls attempting to make an appointment. We have not asked for any compensation for the damages or special treatment. We would just like to have the awning adjusted.!

You can purchase from this company with confidence! I researched companies for my development. My friend had hers for 8 years and it still looked and worked great!! I was so impressed with the professional, knowledgeable and patient sales rep. that came here. This awning was one of the best investments I could have made for my outdoor deck. I love sitting on my deck in a shaded area so I don’t get burned and it just makes spending time outside in our hot summers that much better. This awning is quality and I love how the colors we chose complement the colors of the deck.

On 4/23/2022 we had a Rollup awning installed by ROLLUP awnings Holbrook NY 11741. When they arrived for the installation, the installer said that he could not install the awning that the salesperson Gregg (the owner's son) was incorrect on his measuring of the size of the awning and installation parts. Needless to say we were quite upset and he said he would call the office.

At first I was pleased with the company, then I had to have the awning leveled, I was told by the company worker that they used the wrong length of screw. It had to be a longer screw, he replaced screws, by replacing screws they split the back board, workman from same company told me this and “split board needs replacement” was written on my receipt, a very rude company owner said that it was my fault! Due to inclement weather, they will not replace the backboard, wants me to pay for new one! I have all the receipts for every time they came to house. Very rude company.

Short and to the point: rude and unprofessional owner. I had the awning installed approximately 7 years ago. From Day 1 it was leaning on the right side. I called to have them come and fix it and not only was the owner offensive, but he wanted me to pay to get it fixed. This past summer, I had a contractor here doing another job. He looked at it and saw that they never bolted the right side in correctly. Again, if I were to write what the owner originally said to me, it would be offensive. Just writing this review to warn others when buying.

The rollup awning installed in 4 years ago used rarely, broke the housing. The company is saying that it broke it was left open during wind and rain. However, it was never left open during wind or rain. When I filed formal complaint, the Owner (Ray) instead of resolving the issue was yelling at me and hung up the phone. Worst Service I ever had. Never buy from these guys. It is a rip off. Expensive product. Nothing is covered in the warranty.

Good afternoon. My name is Jillian Ridente. My husband and I purchased ($4315.00) a roll up awning from Roll Up Shutters and Awning on 1688 Church Street in Holbrook. We had issues in the beginning (the awning would unroll and roll itself without cause) which they came and fixed. Now that the weather is warmer I wanted to use my awning so my children could have shade playing outside (our home has no shaded area). My awning started to hang at an angle and rolled out on its own. I called the company on June 9th at 11:48am and spoke to the customer service manager who said she would give my number to the service manager Ann. June 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th no phone call. My husband then called on the 15th and was given the same information that Ann would call the same day. No phone call was received by either of us.

I purchased my home in 2006. The retractable awning that was purchased by the previous owners I still have. I wanted to replace the fabric. About 2 years ago I looked to have it replaced. Was not good timing so I never did. Fast forward to yesterday. I called again. He quoted me a price over phone which I remember why I didn’t do in the first place. Very expensive to replace fabric. I decided to make some other calls to get other estimates. I found another company who would do for $600 less.

I was screamed at and hung up on the phone by the owner of this business twice when I can attempting to schedule a repair appointment. This was after they cancelled two prior service appointments on the day of after I had taken off from work to be there. The owner has serious anger issues and is unprofessional and treats clients terribly.

I want an awning for my deck to keep shade in the summer. I had three other awning companies come give me an estimate but I like that Rollup Awnings does their own stuff and they have their own factory. The people at Rollup were fine.

We've been wanting an awning for a couple of years, and we finally had the money to do it. We've gotten an estimate from somebody else, but it was much more expensive than Rollup Awnings. Everything went great with Rollup. They're a very good company. We're very happy with them. We got delayed in getting our awning because of the rain, so it had to be rescheduled once, but it was relatively quick. It was within the month. Their product is very, very strong and very good. So, I would consider them over a lot of people. And for the price, it's one of the strongest awnings out there.

We needed some shade in the backyard and Rollup Awnings was about 10 minutes from my house. So we got an awning from them. The sales guy was excellent. He went through all the info and the options. He showed us everything. So, he was very thorough. The installation wen very well. The guys knew definitely what they were doing. The only thing we needed to do was figure out the size of the awning. I’d recommend them.

Rollup Awnings has a good product. It's very easy to use. We had a standup awning, and it was falling apart. We got a new one and the installation took a few hours.

I have a deck at the back of the house and I got an awning from Rollup for shade. The salesman was very helpful and very knowledgeable. I was very happy with their product versus the products from a couple other companies. Then they had to come for a site survey because I have solar up on my roof. So, it was questionable whether or not the brackets were gonna fit. I had to move a couple of bracket from my solar in order to make the brackets fit. But overall, I’m very happy with the awning.

It's sunny and I needed shade. A girlfriend of mine told me about Rollup Awnings. I went with them because they were recommended and they were very good. The installation was a wonderful process. The installers came in, installed it, and I had a problem because it's settled and it was crooked. They came in and they fixed it within minutes, and so, I was very happy with them.

Called for an appointment, very diligent, professional response by staff. Everyone worked to explain the entire contract to me, set up a delivery date, was called by office when awning arrived. Would recommend to anyone. Looks beautiful in my backyard. Serves the purpose, easy to operate, and neatly installed. Also recommended electrician to install whatever was needed. I saw the newspaper and TV commercial on the company and was happy I called them.

I like Rollup Awnings' product. I like the way it was manufactured and that it could stand wind. They seemed like a good company too so I went with them. I got a motorized awning from them and it was a very good experience. I have no problems. They explained the product fully and we were happy with it.

Our Rollup awning is great and we love it. We went with this company because we liked the product, and now we've had it for about a month. We got the electric type and I like that it actually works and that I have some shade.

Rollup was a customer of ours many years ago, so when I moved to my other house and needed an awning, I called up on them. I got the model that has a remote control and I was able to choose the pattern and the colors on the awning. So far, it has met my expectations very well.

Rollup Awnings' salesman came to my house and he was excellent. I liked that they were able to provide the size of the awning for me, which was a large one. And they are able to finance it as well which helps. I opted for the powered model, and it has met 100% of my expectation so far.

I needed an awning so we went on Google Search and awning companies popped up. I liked that the Rollup Awnings fully-closed-off condition was nice, tight and secure so it’s a much smaller profile. They also have this plastic edge so it looks clean and neat instead of the fabric which I didn’t want for an edge. It’s a new installation and I did the mounting. I don’t like the way they do their attachment. While it’s secure, it’s ugly. I ended up mounting my own board, and I capped it, made them clean, nearly with no face fasteners or so. All they had to do is just screw the awning in.

At my contractor's recommendation, I got a Rollup awning. The sales process was very easy. The salesman knew exactly what I wanted and how to do it. The installation was phenomenal. It took maybe three hours. Now, I can stay out in the afternoon. The sun is out but it's not beating down on me anymore. We can go in the pool and stay in the shade. It's fantastic.

I bought a house with an awning with Rollup. It was about 20 years old and it didn’t work so well. I needed a second one too. And if I had a second one, I had to recover the first one because they didn’t have the material anymore. It was that old. The owner came to the house and talked to me. And I went to the place to pick out the material and everything was fine. They redid the old one too. Now, I have a remote control on each one and I’m liking them. It’s just in the rain, you can’t put them out. And that’s just the function of the nature of the thing.

I also researched it online. I liked the way Rollup Awnings was crafted better. My experience with them was excellent. They were really good. We just had to have it adjusted once. The arms, whatever it was in the opening, had to be adjusted. So they came and they did it, and it was fine. I'm very happy. I love the color. The salesman was wonderful and helped us save some money and pick out the best thing that we need for our liking. It was good.

I read about Rollup Awnings on the internet and I went down to the facility where they manufacture their product. They let me see how it's made and how they construct it. They were very helpful and showed me all the ins and outs. Between what I’ve seen on the internet and experienced on the outside, and what they portrayed as their item, I decided to go with them. It was a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Rollup Awnings is a local company here where we live. The sales rep was definitely great. He was very knowledgeable. He helped us out and made everything reasonable for us. We bought an awning from them and they gave us a discount on it. So far, the awning is holding up good. The quality is good as well. And I just press a button and it opens up. Service is good, too. The installation was quick and smooth, and the people who worked there were great.

I've seen some commercials for Rollup, and I also checked out a couple others, but I wasn’t satisfied with what I saw. Rollup seemed to be the best way for me to go. The crew was good. They work pretty quick. I got the retractable awning that was motorized. I got one of the better models that they had. The sales rep was very helpful. He explained everything well including the different options. And even with the fabric, he showed us many of them like if we wanted to save money.

We had a temporary canopy but it finally rusted out and needed to be replaced. Instead of getting a fixed structure, we decided we wanted an awning and we saved for it. We pass Rollup Awnings every day since we live around the corner and I like supporting local business. When we walked in to get a price, the people were helpful. They also had a great warranty on their product and they sold us right off the bat. I got a brand-new awning, which is 28 feet long and so, it is very large. They let us pick the material it was made out of and they customized it to the kind of border we wanted. We don't have to roll it in and out. It's all motorized and they gave us a remote.

I haven’t been able to sit on my deck for the last five years since all the trees at my neighbor’s backyard went down. I looked at SunSetter and looking at the awning, Rollup Awnings had much heavier duty brackets and a heavier duty frame to it. Plus, it’s local so we decided to go with Rollup Awnings. We spent a good amount more money but it was a better product. The salesperson who came to the house was the owner’s son or one of the owners and he was convincing. I wasn’t happy with the price and I was trying to get him to knock a little money off, but he said he couldn’t. However, it was advertised that they would take $500 off in install.

I had Rollup Awnings a few years back and I was very satisfied with the awning that they installed in my other residence. I recently had a new awning installed and I use it if we barbecue. Sometimes, I just wanna open up my curtains and I use it as well. The reps were very helpful all the way around and interacting with them was excellent. I was very satisfied with Rollup Awnings and overall, it was a very good experience.

We got a brand new motorized 15-foot wide awning from Rollup Awnings. It is blue and white striped and everything seemed very good when it was installed. The installers took a little longer than I wanted, but it all worked out fine.

We got a Rollup awning but then I'm not too happy about it. The one we got has that material that makes a wave in the middle and it goes down. To me, it should be straighter when the arms of the awning are extended. Because of the size of the awning we got, it droops a little bit. While the awning is expensive, we had a good experience with the rep we purchased it from. It's a strong awning.

I was happy with their representatives, and the crew did a good job of installing it. It works fine, and I'm happy with their product the way it is. I would recommend them, and I would also tell others not to just shop by price. Rollup was a little more expensive than their competitors, but I felt the quality in the way it was made.

I heard that Rollup did a better job from different people, so I went with them. They, indeed, did a nice job. Their installers were nice, professional, and very good. We just had it put in and I have used it about five or six times already. Our motorized awning looked like it was one of the better ones. I am satisfied so far.
