I needed good purification and some people at work and some friends told me that RainSoft is the best system out there. I had the water softener installed and our water has been very good since. Pure water is the best and if you are somebody who showers but doesn't have a RainSoft system, the water feels very hard. But the water feels different now that I have RainSoft. When I take a shower, I don't wanna come out.

When the RainSoft guy came over, I was so amazed at what he presented. He was very informative and friendly. It was quite an experience and I was very surprised at how the water was. I purchased the water conditioning system at my well and the one for my washer and dryer. The third day after installing RainSoft, I could notice the difference when I was taking a shower. My skin is really slippery-like and it's just so much better.

We drink a lot of water but when we moved to Florida, we realized we couldn't drink the faucet water so we were buying a lot of water in the store. That was one reason for which we had already considered getting a water system. But my wife set up the initial meeting with RainSoft to have the water tested and having the water tested and seeing what was in it cemented the fact that we needed to get it done. The representative went through a lot of different examples and showed us the difference between what was coming out of the sink and what could be coming out of the sink if we got the service. He was very knowledgeable and he even tested our bottled water because I wanted to know what was in that as well.

We got the second tier product that was to do with the softener and the installer was very friendly and personable. I thought it was gonna be hard to find those blocks of salt that I needed for the water softener but it was easy. So everything's running fine and smoothly. Everything is great. The system conditions the water and removes the impurities for the whole house. The water itself tastes different which is a plus because I would never drink faucet water. We also have an ice maker so that definitely helps to always have cold water. We don't have to worry about purchasing gallons in bottled water anymore.

We have to have a water softener where we live and we had someone from Home Depot come out when we moved to a new house. The representative that came was great, although the problem that I have with RainSoft is the way that they described the financing. It was very misleading and when my husband and I got the bill, we wound up paying more. We owed more than what we originally financed because of the interest charges. We were paying more in interest, $113, and $13 is going to the principal. It has to change the way that it is directed to the customer. I paid it off last week with all my tax return and commissions my husband had, so I won't get stuck with that bill.

Either it was not explained well enough or the rep was not well-versed in what he was talking about as far as the financing part goes. I had financed everything else with no interest for five years, equal payments, and I was expecting RainSoft to be something similar to that, but I got the bill and I had a heart attack. The financing thing threw me for a loop and turned me off to it. They are really expensive, but we are really happy with. We set the system up the day after we moved in and I could definitely tell a difference.

Setting up the appointment with RainSoft went fine and the representative that came to my home for the consultation was good. He showed me the difference and what the actual benefits of having the system were. I purchased the outdoor box thing. However, the installation team was not so hot. They didn’t hook up my unit correctly and they made a big mess in my front yard, burying in the pipes or wires that they needed to do. I contacted the place because it was giving me an alarm all the time because it wasn’t hooked up correctly.

They sent someone out who said that a part was bad, and they set me up in another appointment for someone to come out and replace that part. The guy came out to replace the part and said that it wasn’t the part that was bad, it just wasn’t hooked up right. All in all, it took me two weeks to get it installed because I was waiting on other people to come out to verify and fix the problems that weren’t completed right the first time. I see no difference whatsoever since having the system installed and I don’t know if the water is cleaner. It doesn’t even feel like it has changed at all.

We had hard water and I wanted to protect my appliances and everything. Setting up a consultation with RainSoft was fairly easy. I just set up the appointment online, and the rep showed up at the appropriate time and did his spiel. He was very professional. He said it would take about an hour, and he was right on-point with that. I knew what the report was gonna come out based on the municipal water analysis, and his findings were nearly identical to that. He did a very good job of explaining everything that he did.

I got a water softener and conditioner from RainSoft and two installers showed up. There was a water softener that had been previously at the residence prior to us moving in. The piping was already there. So, they were in and out there in half an hour. They were super quick and efficient. And they were both very professional as well.

We set up our consultations with the sales representatives over the phone and they've been very good in helping us. They were able to schedule a time that worked well for us. The person who came to us for our consultation was good too. He knew his products and helped us find the one that worked best for us. We purchased the full RO System for our drinking water and the salt system for the rest of the house. The installation team was good as well and they explained the system to us. My parents have a RainSoft system and I grew up with soft water my whole life. And I mentioned it to my girlfriend. We wanted to do a test to see how soft our water was already and had a water test done through Home Depot, but the water ended up being hard. Our interactions with RainSoft's sales rep were great. He was very personable, on time and answered all our questions. It was an all-around good experience. The demonstrations were very good and the information was very clear and concise. We bought the whole home system and the reverse osmosis filter underneath the sink as well. However, after the part where they gimmick you into a bunch of gift cards, the gift cards are not necessarily gift cards per se.

The installation was quick and prompt. I was not there, but my girlfriend was. She said they came in and explained to her how to use the system. With it, the water spots on our shower door aren’t as evident. And you can definitely feel a difference in the shower as well. Also, my girlfriend complained about dry skin before and now, I don’t think she has complained as much. We’ve recommended RainSoft. The system is expensive to buy, but it is an investment for your health. It’s also beneficial for the longevity of the appliances in the home.

We went to Home Depot, and RainSoft was saying that they will do free water softening test so we gave our name. A representative came and he said that he would do the free water softening test. He was nice and his knowledge about the RainSoft products was good. He showed us some chemicals and some turbidity in our water. We ended up purchasing a product, which was expensive. However, when we installed the system, we found that it’s salt water, and soap doesn’t go out from our skin easily. We can still feel that we have more soap in our skin. Overall, I’m very satisfied with RainSoft but the price is too much.

RainSoft asked for one or two reference addresses, so the reps can go and give presentations to people. They said those people will also get a $50 voucher for having the same presentation. The RainSoft rep also said that even if those people would not buy their product, but attended the full presentation, they are entitled to a voucher. One of my relatives booked that presentation but did not get any voucher.

However, that note never got passed to the person that was coming to do the consultation. I ended up getting home a little late and had to work later on. I had to leave so I wouldn’t have been able to do the full consultation. Still, the rep came back two days later and the appointment worked better. Getting the system was was awesome and the water treatment test revealed a lot of sediments in the water which was disturbing. Installing the water softener was quick and easy but the team that installed it left a little bit of dust around. Still, since the system was installed, there has been less build-up of sediments on my showers.

We took a water sample and sent it to RainSoft. Then, they called and set up an appointment. The guy came out and did some tests. He showed us and provided some suggestions. We purchased the treatment system and the installation team put it in. But there was a little confusion. The consultant that came out first said that we could do things that in actuality they just couldn't do because there were some space limitations. So, he could not have oversold it a little bit, but it still worked out fine. We had our water tested and just as suspected, the water was horrible. Setting up a consultation with RainSoft's sales rep was really easy. There were a couple of trial and error things though. We had gotten the $8,500 top of the line thing. Scheduling the installation appointment worked out really well. They said they were gonna be here and they were.

However, I wish RainSoft had let us know that if we wanted to have a concrete pad poured, we had to contact someone to do it. I don’t like the fact the product is just sitting on the ground. I'd rather we had a concrete pad for the product to sit on, like an air conditioning unit does, so that the product stays level, which is important. And when they come to change out the one tank, it would be easier. They don’t have to dig anything out. They would just remove the tank and that would be it. The installers were good though. They came out and worked hard. It was raining and the ground was muddy. They had to dig a trench to bury some pipe. They did a good job, but probably not as good a job as they normally would have under better conditions. I would tell others to definitely go for RainSoft.

We got the whole house system and drinking water. We purchased those on a Saturday, and RainSoft was there Tuesday to set it up. However, they told us it would be about two to three hours when it was really closer to seven, eight hours. We now have better quality overall. We had been thinking and talking about a carbon filter type water softener. Once we decided to get it, RainSoft was very forthcoming with any information that we needed to make our decision. We went to visit them, saw the unit, discussed the pricing, and within three days, it was in. The guy who came to install it was very clean, left nothing behind, gave us all of the explanations we needed (especially that since it was a carbon filter when we first turned on the taps, some black water would come out while it was priming up). He went downstairs, found a spot for it and put it in. We had water flowing in 40 mins.

The water tastes better, no funky taste. It tastes like water should taste, which is basically nothing. When we use soap, we don't need as much and it's just all in all softer. You feel it on your skin when you're taking a shower or a bath that it's softer. The clothes need less detergent with and when they come out, they rinse better. We're very satisfied with the customer service that we received and with the product as well.

However, I was a little bit upset with how they left some of my pipes out in the garage with the markings of magic markers. Before, they had nothing on them at all, and now, they look they're bleeding blue and purple. Still, water has been better than what we were having now that we have the RainSoft system. Being able to use the water straight from the tap to clean a very large mirror in our main bathroom was impressive to me. With Windex glass cleaner, all I was getting was streaking. Now, by using plain water and a paper towel, I don't have anything on the mirror.

My wife was in Home Depot, and she was talking to a gentleman about RainSoft products. And then she called the gentleman and a representative was sent over to our house. He was very nice and explained things very well. He tested our water, and it turned out our water has a lot of chlorine and lead in it. The installation was great. Two gentlemen from Delaware came. They were very nice, very polite, and clean. They came in the house, went to the sink and under the house, took everything out, and installed what they had to. They also showed me where they were gonna put it. And they told us when it needs to be serviced and when salt needs to be added, they're gonna call us. We have the alkaline system installed in the sink, and the water is great. We love it. We noticed that 10 days after they put it in all the stuff in the pipes came out. It looked like it cleaned the system out. And the water is softer. There's some salt in it. We would recommend RainSoft.

Our water in the house started to have a smell and it tasted bad. So, we started looking for water treatment systems and RainSoft was the first one I found. I made an appointment for someone to come to the house. They did some experiments and they kinda showed us the chlorine in the water. There was a gentleman who came in and set the system up. It took him a couple of hours, but he was courteous.

Since having our system installed, the water is a little salty but it tastes better and the smell is not as strong. The app took time because I have to reconnect it to my phone, but I can go to the app and it'll tell me if there’s something wrong. The only thing is RainSoft shows you how much you can save, and there’s this thing about going to a website for coupons and you could save 20% on your groceries. And you have to pay for the coupons, and that wasn’t really explained ahead of time. So, to us, it’s not really worth the value.

RainSoft had the individual filter for drinking water that we were looking for, while the other one we had wasn’t getting the job done, and the water was tasting real salty. The rep of RainSoft was fantastic and covered all the questions. He spent almost two hours here at the house and tested our water, and then compared it to what it did with their system. The person who installed was also great. He came out and did it fairly faster. When he got finished, he explained everything to us and showed us, especially with the filters. He was very thorough and knew what he was doing. There has been a big difference since. You can tell the difference on the skin and with the water and soap. Overall, the guy who came out sold the product and then once we got it installed, the product sold itself.

There was a company who came to my house before and introduced RainSoft to me. They tested my water but at the time, I could not afford to purchase the system. After that, when I went to Home Depot, somebody introduced RainSoft to me again. This time, I decided to purchase their product because I knew that our water quality here was poor. They were supposed to give me a water filter for my pipe and I haven't received that one. But the rest of the equipment that I got are pretty okay.

Since we got RainSoft, the water tastes softer and cleaner. When I bathe, the moisture in my skin is not as dried out as it was before. Also, my wife used to have a rash and I noticed that since we started using RainSoft, it is not that prevalent. So, those are the little things I'm seeing and I hope it's not a mind over matter sort of thing. I even recommended RainSoft to people and they have been going there. In fact, I have a friend who purchased from them through my recommendation.

He marketed the product, did a water test, and took samples. He was good. He, however, told me that they were going to extend the line to the fridge but when the people came in for the installation, they didn't do that. But then the product is good. Ever since we've had it, the water has been very good and we don't buy water anymore. It's a good product to have.

I was looking into buying a new house and I had the water tested. It failed for E. coli, cholera, bacteria, and lead. I had the Triple Duos and failed for all four tests. I was trying to find a company that could correct the system before I make an offer on the house. I was given the names of a couple of companies in the area and RainSoft was one of the companies that came out. I had gotten different estimates and opted to go with RainSoft. I had three different companies come out. One explained everything in their terminology and I had no idea what they were talking about.

The RainSoft reps were very easy to work with. They explained everything to a layman who doesn’t understand the problems with water and what’s involved in it. They explained everything in detail as to how the different systems would work so it’s drinkable water and how it would fix the problems. There are a couple things I didn’t understand though, but I had decided upon them and it really didn’t make a difference. I was stuck with the way the system was. I didn’t realize that correcting for the lead in the water would be a completely different system. You only put it on a faucet that you’re gonna drink from. I wanted it on everything in the house so that I can go drink the water in the bathroom or the water outside from a garden hose, but it’s so expensive to do it that way.

RainSoft was the only company that was willing to do what I wanted. I have a rancher, but it’s a modular house and there is no basement underneath of it. There’s a crawlspace. All the houses I’ve looked at or people that I know that have the system have a basement and everything is physically in the basement. The filters are also in the basement.

I was trying to get everything put into a closet in the third bedroom or on one of the inside walls in that particular bedroom if it wouldn’t fit in the closet because of size constraint. I was trying to get it, so I don’t have to crawl underneath the house to try to change filters or to physically check to see if the system is working. The owner wasn’t sure if the technician could do it. When the technician came out, I explained to him the situation. I am handicapped and I can’t crawl. If I gotta go underneath the house, I gotta sit on my butt to pull myself backward. I was trying to make it convenient for me to be able to check the system and change filters on my own instead of paying somebody else to do it. He was able to explain to me how it was gonna go.

The house has water coming from a well. For some strange reason, whoever put this house up decided to put the main water shut-off in the rear back corner of the house and you gotta crawl from one end of the house all the way to the other end to shut the water off. To me, the main shut-off valve should be placed near where it comes out of the ground or where it first comes into the house. The RainSoft technician put a master shut-off in the closet, just before the entire system. I was very happy with the work he did. He was also very helpful in explaining the entire system to me, how it works, and how I need to maintain it.

The water looks clearer now and it's drinkable. I had asked for an additional test just to have my own peace of mind after the installation was done and they did. They sent me the results and it showed that everything is below what the acceptable levels are. I wouldn’t say crystal clear water, but I have clean water. I would highly recommend RainSoft to anybody that has similar problems.

We moved into a new house and with our past experience with the water here, it’s just hard water. We didn’t wanna have to deal with new pipes and new hardware anymore. After all these years, we wanted to try a water softener. A saleslady from RainSoft came to our home and did a water test, and it was very enlightening. She did a good job. She was really nice and very informative, and we booked ourselves the same day. We also liked the fact that the warranty that comes with it. Plus with the special that was going on at the time, she threw in some different types of laundry soap and detergents as part of our package. That was really nice. I appreciated that. The installation also went really well and the guy who came out was super nice and very informative.

The only complaint I have about the process is the follow-up with the person who's supposed to come out and make sure that everything is working correctly. There is a third visit that is supposed to happen and I left words with her a few weeks ago but I haven’t heard back. This particular woman and I have been texting back and forth though, so it’s not like no efforts have been made. But we can't seem to nail down a date where she is available and I’m available. The appointment also doesn’t seem like something that can happen on any given day at any given time. It’s gotta be as scheduled and it’s a little tricky because of her hours. Based on what she has told me, I don’t think she works for RainSoft full-time. I think she does it periodically.

So that has been a little frustrating for us and we feel like that’s part of what we paid for. The detergent is also part of the reason I was waiting for my follow-up. I’ve got a daughter who’s allergic to everything under the sun so I gotta have the fragrance-free, dye-free, extra gentle laundry detergent. From what I was told, I can swap out some of the detergents I was given and I was hopefully gonna swap out with her everything I have that has not been used. But other than that, the experience was really good. We’re happy with the product and we’re enjoying it. Having soft water has taken a little getting used to but other than that, it was fine. The detergents also take some getting used to and I haven’t quite mastered that yet. But my skin feels better and the clothes feel a little bit better too.

He said he had some people in the area and they put them with the clientele based on age and what they think would be the best fit. And I think they did very well with that. We got the water conditioning system and when it was installed, the guy was gone within about an hour. He cleaned up too. And that’s all I could have asked for. He was informative and did a really good job. He could answer all the questions and was very thorough. I purchased the filtration system, the softener and the alkaline system. The first Installer was really nice, really good and informative. I liked him a lot. He started the work, but he couldn't finish it that day, so a different set of people came back out.

The second team was also very nice and professional, but they disregarded the things that I said. What I was getting, what I asked for, and where it would go were all set up. Everything was laid out. The first guy had started the work and did exactly what everybody had discussed, but when the second team came out, I was supposed to have copper piping, but they put in PVC. I told them three times that it was supposed to be a copper pipe and I told them where the extra spigot was supposed to go, but they didn't do either of those things. RainSoft took care of the issues and corrected them. Now, the water is softer and the taste is better. The clarity is better, so I definitely feel better about my water.

As soon as I saw what was coming out of the sink, I thought it was time to get a water treatment. But I was only gonna get it for drinking water. However, when he started telling me about the soft water, I went with that.

The team who installed the whole house system had to come out a couple of times. It was confusing. I had asked them to put the faucet on one side but they wound up putting it on the opposite side, and it’s too late to take it out. The electrician then put in the outlet, but when he put the outlet in, he put it on my switch for my light. When I turn off the light, the little power cord would turn off also for my AC. He had to come back and redo the wiring. Besides that, everything was fine.

So far, I am enjoying the system. The food and the coffee taste better. It's not as bitter as it used to. Also, after taking a shower, my skin is so much nicer. It’s softer. The clothing with the soap is great too. In addition to that, the salespeople were nice. They came out and gave me the whole tour of everything, including the guidelines. For the system and everything, I can tell the difference with Rainsoft. I would recommend them.

My son and I were shopping in JC Penney. He was the one who saw this packet and asked me if I wanna test the water. I asked him why we should test the water and he said we should go home and see what happens when we do it. He put water in a test tube and then he just left it. I asked him why is he gonna test it and have it sitting in the corner and not send it in. From there, RainSoft got it and they called us. They told us it's in Broward County, and started to get tested on the water. They told us that it seemed okay and asked if we were interested in somebody coming out to do a complete test on the water to show us where the levels are at and tell us what is healthy and safe. I told them that it's okay.

My experience with the rep from RainSoft was good. At first, I didn't know if he was just someone who was educating us, or it's a matter of he was a sales rep. But his presentation was amazing. He was young, and he just started himself, but he did a great job. So it's not a matter of convincing or there wasn't any pressure at all. It's a matter of, "Think about it, if you think it's something that you'd wanna do. Do you think long term, health-wise, the pipes and the copper and the stuff in the water, is this something you wanna keep digesting?" The savings involved in cleaning supplies and water were also explained. It wasn't a hard decision but it was an expensive one.

I got the system that's worth $6,900. The one that goes through the pipes, and I had it installed in the garage of this house. I didn't do the washer and dryer. I just do the one that has to do with the main water. Also, the installation was good. I had a leak afterwards so I called the technician. He came back and said he's gonna do a fix but it was a Band-Aid fix. My boyfriend knew exactly what was wrong, so I delivered the message to him because he does plumbing.

It so happened that the guy told me to watch it and see what happens. It didn't get any better. I called him up again and told him I needed it fixed properly and I didn't want a Band-Aid fix. The follow up and follow through with them was amazing. Since having the system installed, there has been a smooth feel of the water from the shower. I also drink water from the system every day. I even take a big bottle of water to work. Thus far, I have referred five people to RainSoft and one person has bought their system.

The salesman comes over my house and puts on a science magic show for me and my husband and convinces us that our water is bad for our skin, our laundry, our pipes, etc. They sell me the water softener system plus the water purification system (for drinking water). Of course part of the scam is justifying the cost of it all. We would get all natural soaps and cleaning products that would last us 5 years therefore saving money on what we usually buy. They lasted us 6 months and the products weren't even that great. Financing was "only" $80/month part of the magic show was to calculate all these cost savings versus what we would be paying a month for the next 5 or 8 years I forget.

So what was NOT part of the calculations are the following which I found out the hard way during this first year of having this all installed. The cost of the salt (water softening salt) that you have to buy every couple of months was not mentioned. The "yearly service" that this requires is $230 plus tax for a guy to come by for 15 minutes and change 2 filters on the water purification system, that also not mentioned on the calculation. Oh and the best part now I just got a call from the financing company that the $80/month was a 12 month promotion and that now my payment is $120/month...WTF?!? Unbelievable!!! Beware when walking around Home Depot. Don't fall for it!!! Not worth it!!! I'm not even sure if I see much of a difference in the water quality anyway...NOT HAPPY!!!

The sales rep from RainSoft was nice. It was a longer sales presentation than we were anticipating, but we did end up purchasing the system. We had some legitimate problems with our water. We own a RainSoft water conditioner, and it's not cheap, but we've been really happy with our water. We had city water, and the taste of the RainSoft water is a lot better. Also, the water cleans a lot better, so it doesn’t leave streaks on mirrors and appliances. The dishes come out without spots on them. The water also cleans clothes better. It doesn’t leave as much detergent in your clothes. You don’t itch as much when you use RainSoft water, so it's better for the skin.

With RainSoft water, we don't get spots on the faucets when we turn the water off. Our faucets always look clean like someone just wiped it down because there's no deposits in the water. When we had a problem with the plug, we contacted RainSoft and they came out and fixed it for us. I would definitely buy a RainSoft system again if we needed to. I got a free water test kit at Home Depot and turned it in. I had two different water sources, and RainSoft called me on one of them, told me what was going on, and then sent a tech out to tell me what they found on the water. The water was really hard and had a lot of metals and impurities in it. I worked with their sales rep for about three weeks on pricing because I didn’t wanna pay a full system and I didn’t want to finance. Then, they set up an appointment and sent a guy out who put the system in. They came back and retested the water after that. The installer knew what he was doing. His helper didn’t show up so he came on his own and put the system in. It took him longer but he did a great job. The installation was outside. I installed all my water lines while he was at work, so he didn’t have problems finding a place to put it.

It was a whole house system but I didn’t want the reverse osmosis for the sink since it was expensive but the whole house system made my water so much better anyway. I had psoriasis and not long after we put the system in, my hands cleared up. When you get out of the shower, you don’t have soap sticking on your clothes. Everything has turned out better.

Our water smelled like sulfur and we looked into getting a treatment system. Everybody at RainSoft was awesome and we went with them. We purchased a whole house system that basically cleans out the water and softens it at the same time, and the installation was really fast. I was at work and my wife took care of it, and everything happened really easily. RainSoft's system is perfect and it makes a big difference. Now our water has less smell, less discoloration and better taste. Getting out of the shower is awesome too as we feel like we’re actually clean. A few of us were having skin issues and those issues pretty much disappeared. RainSoft's customer service is excellent as well. They don’t make me feel stupid during discussions and follow-throughs. Our experience with RainSoft has been great.

I live in Kentucky and we have limestone here. The water is very hard. We had this guy from RainSoft, Danny, come by and he was great. He demonstrated the product to us using his little kit with a little small filter, showed us the water quality that we had, and what it would be after they installed the system. We got the system for the washing machine and also the one for the sink, which is for cooking and drinking. We scheduled a time to have the systems installed.

The morning before the installer got here, Jerry came and apparently, he's the owner of the company here in Kentucky and Lexington. We went through all the financial part where you'd get set up for the credit. My credit was frozen and I was trying to call to get it released, so they could see if my credit was any good. He didn’t wanna wait on me. He used my wife’s credit and driver’s license, which had an Oklahoma address on it. They sent the original credit card to the old Oklahoma address. My wife hadn't changed her driver’s license and instead of waiting for a few minutes for me to get my credit unfrozen so they could do a credit check, he went ahead and used my wife’s. So, that was all messed up.

We had to call Home Depot and get that all straightened out afterward because we never received a bill in the mail from Home Depot. They were sending the bills to our old Oklahoma address, and we had to finally get that all squared away, so they could send the bill to the right address. The other thing is the salesman that came by promised us a 24 months deferred interest on the credit card. What has happened so far is that when we finally received our first bill, it said we only had six months deferred interest. That means I had to pay the entire amount of $6,000 something in six months. I've sent Jared, a RainSoft rep, an email and I sent him the bill that states that we had to have it all paid in full by May of 2019.

He replied to me that same day and he wanted me to send a copy of the bill. I scanned a copy and sent it to him but I haven't heard a word back, and it's been a week. Other than that, we've been dealing with limescale for eight years since we've been here and the RainSoft water softener has been great. The water is good and I don't see all the scale and lime buildup on the faucets, the shower door or the commodes.

The interaction we had with the sales representative and their customer service was excellent and we had no complaints. When the guys that come and did the installation, they did a good job and installed it quickly. However, they made an appointment for a certain time and they weren't here. My youngest daughter still lives with us, and she has troubles with harsh chemicals and the stuff that’s in our water. We're trying to be as healthy as we possibly can be. And my wife has a few troubles with that type of stuff also. We definitely want whatever we put in to ourselves to be as best that it can be. We did a water test and when we got the results, there were some stuff in it. We had a small little filter that we bought from Lowe’s and it still tested with some stuff in it there. I have people and cousins of mine that work at the water systems. And one of them handles the water, and he told me some of the things that they are required to put in there because it's in a big tank. So, there are stuff we don’t wanna take in to ourselves any kind of way.

Everything with our consultation with RainSoft was good. The scheduling on the second person was the only thing, but it was no big deal to us and everybody was good. There were a couple of parts that we were waiting on. One of our canisters was leaking, but they came right back and fixed it. Our drinking water is good to go since we’ve had the filtration system put in. It tastes better. The main thing I noticed is with the first shower I took, I thought I still had soap all over me because of the softening.

I am disappointed though because the salesman said that with the different water, I wouldn’t have to clean the bathtub and the toilets out as much but every week, there are really thick water stains. Moving from Toronto to Brampton, I noticed that the water in Brampton was a little bit harder than what I was used to. RainSoft was in the neighborhood, doing water sampling. They tested the water and said they had concerns. It was shown to us what normal water should look like and what our sample looked like. They told us what they could offer. They said that they would leave it with us and that we should give them a call if we're interested. The sales rep was very professional and not forceful on the sale.

I invested in the system and the installation team was very fast, professional and polite. I’ve had the system for over five years now and I’ve noticed a considerable difference having the water system in the house as opposed to not. When we’re not home and we’re away on vacation, we also notice a difference in the water quality, even in the drinking water alone. Water is what I drink a lot of and I like the taste and the cleanliness of it. Even in the home itself and for showering, the water is softer. You notice there’s a difference, even with the washing machine. We’re using less detergent and the clothes seem a little cleaner. Then in the last couple of months, we had to replace one of the units because over time, the inside of it was wearing out. So I went back with RainSoft because I’m very happy with it. Company-wise, they’re very professional and courteous.

Not sure about finding what chemicals were actually in our water that was harmful. By law he could not tell us. No doubt though we have deposits on our dishes that was proven by him and his bag of chemicals in his demo. Don’t know if a chemist would agree everything he did in demo to show harsh chemicals in our water. We may find that dishes are cleaner, clothes are brighter and skin is less dried out but for over $9100. It was a bit much for the total system, including an air purifier. My wife is smarter than me I guess.

All the hardware and free installation could not add up to more than a few thousand at best. Somebody is making money. Although cost of filters down the line was mentioned by the sales rep - he said he had not had to change his osmosis sink filter for ten years. I’m not sure he even has a system in his home. My suggestion is get some bids from as many companies as possible. Then if you want a system you can be well aware of what each system consist of and it’s cost. Although there were things that he didn’t know answers to, he was right on the phone to just call somebody who could find the answers.

It's kind of foolish that the installation team came the distance and they only had one set to install, and it didn’t match the rest of my sink. The rest of my sink was all chrome. They didn't know what to bring but then the installer put it anyway. But it was a wasted trip cause even though it was beautiful, I didn’t wanna keep it since it looked odd to not match the rest of the sink. They had to come back and bring back a chrome one to reinstall. Still, that helped because the first guy couldn't answer fully all of my questions. The second guy who came back to install was more knowledgeable, did a good job to reinstall, and fixed a couple things differently. So I was happier with the second installation. Overall, while I feel better knowing that I'm getting cleaner water, it would have been nice to have known some information like the cost of maintenance before installation.

The Rainsoft testing person was very nice but the data he presented was false. I have a University level education in Human Physiology and Chemistry. I also ran swimming pools for a living. The calculations for the funds I spend each month without the Rainsoft system are drastically inflated according to my own spreadsheet showing actual expenditures. The test where he said my skin absorbed the chlorine from the water was false. The chlorine was not absorbed by my skin in the three seconds allowed in this test. Absorption takes longer than the 3 seconds this test took. Instead the chlorine was chemically altered by the salt creating Sodium Chloride and any contaminants that are inherent on everyone's skin.

Also the light from my LED lights which is 5500 Kelvin causes a chemical change in Chlorine also attributing to the depletion of the chlorine in the test water. He did not test the filtered water in my Kitchen sink either. The reality is that with the actual expenditures the payback on this expensive system is more than a decade. The customer is led to believe the chemicals used to test for solids and other contaminants are real without any proof at all. The entire demonstration is done by the company selling the product instead of an independent testing company. This is a conflict of interests. Many systems are less expensive and do just as well in removing solids, organic contaminants, chemical contaminants and softening water. This demonstration was misleading and the system is very overpriced.

We had submitted a water test kit through Home Depot and about a year later, they responded to it. RainSoft asked if I was interested and I told them yes. By the next day, they were here. Their reps were very professional and I couldn’t ask for better people to work with. I’m a biologist and I felt that they knew what they were talking about and knew about the proper test to do to the water.

I purchased the whole house system and the people who installed it were hilarious. They were very personable and nice guys. They went through everything with me and then they also did the filtration system underneath the sink. That took about an hour and a half just to run it through the process. But they stayed here with me to run it through one process and let it stay there. It took about four hours for everything to get done. They spent as much as time as they needed to and they didn’t seem to hurry. Plus, they made sure all my questions were answered before they left. We had to have a drinking fountain put into our sink just for drinking and cooking because the water was that bad. It’s a filter underneath the sink and there’s a big filter outside by my well. We still have the soft water but not a whole bunch can be done about that. The water is clear now though and it tastes good. There are no particles floating in it and the smell is gone.

They had to come back out one time though because there was a little stain in the water. They did some adjustments on the filter outside and told me to wait about a month and that if it doesn’t improve to call them back. It has gotten a little better but I need to call them back because it still has a little stain to it. But the RainSoft people were very good. When I called the guy on a Friday, he said he’d be here on Monday and he was here around the time he said he’d be here. I’m completely satisfied with them. One time, we were in Home Depot and they had a person walking in the store asking people if they would be interested in a water hardness test. We've had concerns with our water since we moved in which included issues in water hardness and the amount of impurities in the groundwater system we're on so we went for it. Working with the RainSoft salesman who came to our home was fun. We were able to converse and interact with him. We exchanged ideas and told him information he wasn't aware of. Thereafter, their installation team came in and did their job. We had questions while they were installing and they answered those. They explained things as they were going through. Since getting the RainSoft system, we've noticed a difference in the way our water tastes as well as how we feel after we shower. We've also noticed differences in our clothing after we wash them. Overall, it has been a good experience with RainSoft.

The Rainsoft reps came to our door and their demonstration impressed us big time. They got test bottles and a little machine. It was like a miniature water system for your home and one rep ran through that plus she checked our water. The water here in San Antonio is worse than we thought it was. We always use bottled water and washing takes one ounce of detergent. Thereafter, we got the softener system, the reverse osmosis for the kitchen sink, and the oxidation thing for the laundry washer. We have a hot tub which feels and looks so good now.

I have a water fountain on the front yard and the installer said that it was not gonna be part of the system, but it turned out it was. Before, I had to clean it with the pressure washer, but now, it cleaned it right up and it's down to the original material of the fountain itself. Everything was impressive. We don’t have to buy bottled water anymore and we use a lot less detergent. We use the system for cooking, our tea, and our coffee. We usually use the reverse osmosis with the coffee and tea because that's about as good as water can get.

The sales rep was fantastic. We felt like we got a new friend. She sent us a card with a fantastic picture of the house, which surprised us. She's super friendly and personable. I also had good interactions with their installation crew. I asked questions and he explained what was going on. He gave me a rundown of how everything worked and what I needed to do periodically. For the first five years, they took care of the system except for one filter. After a year, I had to change it out myself. Other than that, it has been great and I had no complaints whatsoever.

I've talked to several people about Rainsoft and I'm kinda surprised myself. $8,000 for a water softener system is kinda steep and most of them don’t wanna spend that kind of money, but, in the long run, it will pay for itself. Besides the system itself, we also got five years' worth of detergent. There were several things that replaced the chemicals and cleaning stuff that we were using that we no longer have to get. For instance, though we don’t need to use a laundry softener, we still do because we like the smell. The rep said that was optional for clean clothes. Nevertheless, Rainsoft has impacted our lives positively and we love it.

I filled out a survey questionnaire at Home Depot and RainSoft contacted me within a week to set up an appointment. Their rep came out and he was very polite and professional. He went through the whole process and we filled out the paperwork. He knew what he was talking about and he obviously enjoyed what he was doing.

We purchased a whole home system from RainSoft with a reverse osmosis feature for drinking water and a special tap just for that. Thereafter, their installation team came out and put in the system. It was convenient and they worked with me. They came out when I told them it would be a good time to come out to do the install. However, it took them a little while to get the WiFi thing set up so we could monitor our system. Still, things have been like what RainSoft's rep told me. He said that our water was gonna go cleaner and everything we did would be cleaner as well, like the dishes coming out of the dishwasher. He also said that our showers would feel different and all that stuff has worked out to be exactly like that. RainSoft's system is a great product. Other people should look into it.

We wanted to fit in a whole house water softener system, but we couldn't figure out how to easily do it on our own ‘cause our water main is in the front of the house. Home Depot called us up because we had just bought a new high-efficiency washer/dryer, and they set up the sales call with RainSoft. The sales rep was very nice and we had a really good time when he came over. He did the water demonstration but we already knew a lot about it because we’d done some research, so it went really fast. He was also very easy to work with. It was a great experience for something that we didn’t expect to do right then.

The installation went really well too. The two RainSoft installers that came were super nice, and they had to do a lot of extra work to build the trench to put the tanks in. They had to come out a couple of times to get it all done. But the thing that my husband liked most was the way the piping was done so perfectly. He loved the job they did and he talks about it all the time. With the system, I don’t have to always use a squeegee and try to wipe spots off of the glass. I also notice that my hair has a different feel and I don’t have to use the conditioner that I used to use before. Plus I haven't had the allergy problems that I’m used to having when the heater starts kicking in, so that’s been exciting.

The previous homeowner had a RainSoft system in the house, but they took it when they left. Then, the person at Home Depot said they would come out and do a free water test. So, we signed up and let them come to the house. They came and showed us how much crap was in our water and I didn't want to drink that. The sales guy's name was Bryan. He was nice and very professional. He came in and showed us the test and talked about the system.

The installation of the system was a little troubling because after we had the sales guy come out, I didn’t realize that one of the gaskets from my kitchen sink faucet had fallen into the garbage disposal. Therefore, my kitchen sink started leaking regularly. Also, the first time they set it up the drain hose for the RO system wasn’t plumbed properly. We talked to them about the issue and they tried to fix it with a bunch of different washers to see if they can get it to quit leaking from the kitchen sink faucet. They did reroute the RO water, which was fine, and we didn’t have any problems with that leaking again. The kitchen sink quit leaking, but the next day, it was leaking again. So they told us that if they couldn't find a replacement for it, then they would get me a new faucet, which was what they ended up doing.

The people at RainSoft are responsive, and we haven't had any issues with everything they’ve done so far. The water is definitely softer since we had the RainSoft system. You have that silky smooth feeling after a shower. However, I would notice that we have to clean the toilets more often because of the build-up of mildew. It also happens in our dishwasher. So we had them come out to check that and the guy told me that once I start smelling sulfur, that means they need to come out and clean all the lines in the house with bleach because the system has taken all the chlorine out.

I’m paying 105, and my balance interest is already 60 dollars, so it’s only $40 toward my principal. Also, before I made my first payment in November, they're already charging me interest. Other than that, the quality of the water is good. You can tell when you take a shower and use the product with it. We're also not buying bottled water anymore. The water we have has a good taste in it. Rainsoft is a good system. It works and I would recommend it to any of my friends.

Since we moved 10 years ago, my wife and I had been frequently talking about the quality of our water. We never did anything until we saw a rep from RainSoft at Home Depot. We went in wanting information and when we discussed our water situation, the rep made the system sound great. He had a lot to do with us going with the system. Two guys came to install the system over the weekend and they did a great job and as soon as it was installed, there is a world of a difference. We are using less lotion for our hands when we used to have dry skin. Also, the shower heads and tiles have been much easier to clean and have been less messy.

RainSoft works awesome and it is affecting everything. However, I am having trouble setting up the system on Wi-Fi. I have not been able to connect with my phone so, I would call and their guys could help me walk me through. The system has been in our home for about two months and it was mentioned to me that somebody could come back and test our water after the system has been installed and working for a while, to check the improvement and the quality of water. I would be interested in having someone to come out. That aside, I highly recommend RainSoft.

The water in our area is very hard so it was ruining clothing and leaving spots on everything. We had to get a system to be sure. I got my first RainSoft system in 1987 and I’ve been working with Phil for quite a number of years. He explained everything to me and he explains things clearly. He takes his time, checks back and confirms appointments. He had also always been the one who came out when our old system broke down or was having some problems. He does a really nice job with the customers. He does all the things that you would want somebody to do.

When the other system needed to be replaced, it actually flooded the basement. We had saltwater all over the basement and it was horrible. But it was clean water. We bought a water softener and Phil installed the whole thing himself. He came when he said he was gonna come and he took the amount of time that he said he was gonna take. He explained everything to me about how the system operates and what the follow up would be. It went very smoothly. I’m not running out of salt now and the water’s much more consistently soft. With the old system, it seemed that we went through a lot of salt in a short amount of time. I was also happy to see some of the improvements that RainSoft made in the system. Updating it over the 30-year period that I had the old one to this new one, I expected them to do a lot of updates but this one seems to be working fine. I’m happy with the new features.

I have to say I'm impressed that this company sincerely cares about customer satisfaction. It's one of the traits of a good company. After doing some research their unit is amoung a lower price range than some I've heard are as much as $15,000 for a unit to purify well water (boyfriend's sister)!. Also after further clarification the parts are waranteed but not maintainence. I understand most things require maintainence which is why I was so taken with a unit that didn't require any. Shame on the salesman again, but I should've known better. Again, always get things in writing but as for the company they will definitely stand behind their product. You can always talk to them direct for questions. They will take the time to explain their products and the knowledge they have of the industry. I appreciate that greatly. Will update you on the products after I get ingredients list . Which they are happily going to produce. True it saves you money but dish soap seems a little weak. Not sure if I agree that you wont' need conditioner any more but after knowing what's in most conditioners, you'll be glad you're not putting that in your hair or down your drains . Try a little shea butter instead. :

Salesman can promise anything. But unless you get it in writing, it doesn't mean a hill of beans. They're so far good on their products that come with it. But I'm not sold on the quality. And there is no ingredients list for any of them. After about a month and scale buildup, they tell me I need an additional unit: the softener. Which is what I believed would solve all these issues. $3500 I had already paid. After talking with the owner he was willing to put in a softener free of charge. Thank you! However after a year, an alarm goes off telling you to call the number and set up an appt for "fixing" it. Was charged $105 to do "yearly maintenance" which was not discussed or made known of upon purchase.

We had extremely hard water. It was on the shower heads and we had to brush it off almost weekly. There were rings in the toilet almost overnight. I bought a water meter and our water was a 534, which was very close to undrinkable. I was in Home Depot looking for a water purifier, but they didn’t have the ones that I wanted on the floor. They said the only way to get those was to sign up and have someone come out. I didn’t want a salesman to come to the house, but after he did and showed us where our water was, it was a worthwhile visit. He wasn’t high pressure. He just went about his business, showed us where the water was, and showed us a couple of examples. We’d already done our shopping and he presented the price very quickly. I told him it was well out of bounds, it was more than we were willing to spend, but they were willing to negotiate and he got it right where I wanted it to be.

We purchased the biggest RainSoft system that they had and a gentleman came out for the installation. He was knowledgeable and he did a quick job putting it up and explained what he had done. The installation was good, but on the negative side, they gave you the window, around 1:00 to 4:00, but nobody said they would be there at 10:00 or 11:00. Other than that, he did a good job and he was out on time. Our water was a 534, while the Sunny bottled water was a 37. Since installing the system, our water is below what the Sunny bottled water is. It is a 27, which I was really impressed with, and there is softness that it makes us feel on our skin when we shower now, probably using a little less detergent and shampoo.

The water is too hard here in the Riverview, Florida and I don’t want my appliances and my faucets to get damaged, so I chose to have a water softener. The RainSoft sales representative came on time and the demo was good and informative. He was a professional and he got the knowledge. I ended up purchasing the water softener. The installation was good too. The technician came on time and he did his job. The only things is RainSoft promised me I will be getting a $50 Home Depot gift card for accepting the demo, but I received the gift card for only $20. Nonetheless, since having the system installed, we've noticed that the water is good and fresh. We can drink the water and we are enjoying our shower. The water is too soft. Everyone knows the water softener and they know that everything is good and the water is clean, and I'm satisfied and happy.

We had the person from Home Depot test our water quality. It was more of a magic show. We didn't care really. We had just had our first baby and wanted something. They use the "must sign up today for whatever reason" tactic. Product worked. We noticed a difference in our hair when we showered. But we didn't notice a different taste or anything from the reverse osmosis system. Following year, they came out to do the maintenance. It was $250. They changed 3 filters in the RO system.

Following year I declined the maintenance. Tried to find the filters online. They don't sell them and 3rd party ones do not fit. If you call the RainSoft Vendor, it's $160 for 3 filters - DIY. The RO system is bare minimum - 3 stage + mineral add. I bought a top of the line 7 stage RO system with UV light for $250. Filters for all are less than $100 a year. Point is, Rainsoft works. But they gouge you. The business model all around is shady. Do a little research and buy a premium system for a third of the cost.

Once to put the unit in and then they had to come back and put down the line for the water for the refrigerator. Both experiences were great. I love the water system because of how the water has more taste and the water feeling. My friend loves it when she takes a bath. It's a good investment. I heard some noise from the system. Someone cleaned it and that was a good thing. I've been telling people to buy this system. It's one of the best.

We bought an older wartime house, so we wanted to test the water and make sure that there was nothing wrong with the pipes. We got one of the free water tests at Home Depot and we got it back during a consultation. The consultant recommended the RainSoft products to us. He made some good points about RainSoft, so we decided to give it a try. He presented all the information in a way that was factual but still entertaining and it didn’t bore us at all. He was very personable and easy to talk to. He is one of those guys that you feel like you’ve known forever. My husband is usually very quiet and lets me do all the talking, but he was making jokes with the consultant. He had a really good personality. He was also really good with our dog, who is normally a bit of a stinker. He calmed her down and there was a point that our dog was sitting on his lap and just relaxed. He was really awesome.

I’m 100% happy with the installation and the people that installed the products were knowledgeable, fast, and really personable. They had contacted me a couple of days before to give me a heads up about when they would be coming and they called me when they were on the route. They worked really well and were efficient. A lot of workers would just leave fast, but they cleaned up after themselves. Also, our basement isn’t exactly the easiest to get into, but they’ve managed to get in and out without a problem and complaints, which I was impressed because I complain when I go to my basement. They were amazing.

My husband and I have been really happy with the RainSoft products. We got the water softener and the reverse osmosis, and they've been working extremely well. I’ve been absolutely in love with the soft water and reverse osmosis drinking water. It’s the best water I’ve ever had and I’ve never felt healthier. I’m loving the system and I now use fewer body products, especially moisturizers because the water isn’t drying my skin out as much. I also find my hair has been better. I have very curly and frizzy hair and with the softer water, I find that my conditioner can work better and it isn’t being as bad as it normally is.

I’ve been trying to drink the the reverse osmosis water as much as possible and I found I’m getting fewer migraines. When I’m drinking that water with a bit of lemon when I get sick, I feel like I’m getting healthier faster. RainSoft was absolutely amazing and I have zero complaints. I have recommended RainSoft to a couple of friends who have bought houses in the area. I told them to go to Home Depot and get a water test. When we had our house-warming, people were commenting on our water. They asked if we have filtered water or bottled water. They were commenting on how clean the water was.

We tried to call the maintenance guy back though because at the time he was going to speak with my husband about how to work the tank, my husband wasn’t home. So, my husband called about two weeks later and it took a while to get a hold of him. We then found out that he was no longer with the company. I wish someone would have let us know that. Initially, I wasn’t gonna get it because the 17% interest rate was too high, and I have real good credit. I don’t even pay that high for my vehicle but the rep was really helpful. He was able to find a different way of me financing it. He got me a Yard Card and I’m paying for the system at 3%. The installer, Chris, called me and asked me if it was okay for him to start if I wasn’t home which was perfect for me. He was also very helpful. He showed me the small stuff that I needed to be able to take care of and he walked me through everything. He also left me his card just in case I had any questions for him. RainSoft did a wonderful job. The system that I got softens the water and now, the water tastes differently. The whole house has that water now too, so even when I take a bath, it feels different.

It's really backward here and the water sucks. We were concerned about the water and we were drinking bottled water. The water department here does a boil water order and we have to boil our water. We had moved here from Arizona and we had never even heard of a boil order and didn’t know anything about it. The people at the water department put up a red or green flag on the side of their office and we had to check the flag if we went into town. Then they put it on Facebook, but that didn’t last very long. Now, they have us call or watch Channel 3 on TV in the mornings and that’s when they tell us when they have a boil order or not. For a while, when we first moved here, my wife was drinking tap water and she ended up getting H. pylori. It took a long time to figure out what it was that she had.

When we went to Home Depot, they had water test kits. We got one of that, set it in, and that’s how we got our RainSoft water purification system. The sales representative of RainSoft is a nice guy and he’s the type of person that you get really comfortable with. He was here for five minutes and did what he should, but it was as if I’ve known him all my life. Now our water looks a whole lot clearer and we drink the water from the tap since we had the system installed. Also, the dishes look cleaner and we now have clear-looking bowls.

Were making monthly payments to pay off over $6800 on from a credit company they have provided. There is no difference in my water, it's a year and we still get hard water spots. We got a coupon from Home Depot when we moved in the new house. I’ve got a few filters already and the whole house thing sounded like a good idea. I called RainSoft and set up a consultation. The rep came in, explained things and did demonstrations, and our interactions went smoothly. We got a softener and filter system and the installation went well. It was pretty much done and they warned us that they had turned off power. They also asked us where we wanted the system and how we wanted it to run. Since having the system installed, the water quality as far as washing and that for our shower has been very nice. It feels better on our skin. Every once in a while, I tap the lid and see where the salt stuff is and if I have to buy more. I did an email survey on RainSoft about adding a silver panel in the system that would probably be a good idea. That’s something I’ve known for years and the airline is using it in filtering the air.

However, the financing for the RainSoft system confused us. The salesman said that when we sign up for this, we would get two months with no payments. I thought that was good as we wanted paper statements, not automatic payments. Then somehow, that switched and the rep said they were gonna be pulling this money out of our account. That needs a little help to make that a bit clearer. RainSoft had little glitches here and there but overall, I'm happy with the experience.
