Shirley did great resolving my issue. I only wanted a one-time history of real estate I have an interest in, to be purchased at $1.00, Today that charge and $20.00 showed up on my CITI account. I only needed the $1.00 basic report and never "clicked" for anything else as far as I can tell. Your site gets a bit confusing for a lay person, should explain charges upfront. Shirley explained thing well, and "hopefully" I'll get the Extra charge refunded as Shirley said.

Katharine helped me in the refund of 3 charges that were wrongfully taken from my credit card. She was able to quickly assess the situation while letting me know she was working to discover what the account was showing her and then to resolve it by crediting my card with an additional $60 for 3 overcharges. The service is deceptive. They say it will only be $1 for a search, but they actually charge a $9.95 charge on top of the $1 search and then continue to charge. It’s hard to figure out how to cancel, also. I did use the chat live feature and was able to cancel and get a refund on a pending charge very quickly and the chat person was quick and effective. There really should be a menu choice to cancel on the website and there should be a clearer description of the charges when you sign up for the search.

SCAM. I purchased a property report with the assumption it was a one time purchase. Over the course of two months, I was getting charged small amounts equaling over $100. I contacted the company via their “chat option”. I was told I was billed only the $20 fee. I then provided all the 10+ charges, with dates, to my account to the person I was chatting with. I was issued a full refund after I threatened speaking with my bank about the fraudulent charges.

I requested a $1.00 property value report and them $7.00 pdf file in December. Then began the Bi-weekly $5.00 withdrawals from my bank account. I purchased no bundle, as the Chat help desk called it. I have recorded the whole process to close the "Bundle", and I pray that the withdrawals cease.

I rarely write reviews for websites, but today I felt compelled. In December of 2025 I wanted, a property record (property deed info for my property that was purchased back in 1984). I used Propertyrecord.com. I felt overcharged for the service at the time, but I wrote it off as a learning experience. Then in January 2026, I was charged twice again for something that I didn't request.
In trying to communicate with the website, I attempted to use their communication method on the website. It was a waste of time. It would never go through. I finally had to do a Google search on how to communicate and found a support email address. I requested that they refund the two charges in January, but there was no response to that request. They did say that they would refund another charge that was charged in February, and said no further changes would happen. I would be careful when using this site and make sure that you are not signing up for an ongoing service that you didn't intend to have.

I wanted to have my credit card info removed from the system, and it was accomplished in a highly satisfied fashion. I was looking for property info on a property I owned back in the 1960s but the system did not have records going back that far. The website wasn't the most helpful, as the reports were missing some important information regarding property owner details, but the live chat was responsive and very helpful. They were able to close my account quickly, and issue a quick refund for the part of the service that didn't work for me. The billing and pricing should be much more clear upfront, and include descriptions for each additional add-on feature.

For tax purposes, I needed detail property information. PropertyRecord provided the information in a brief time. The information was very complete and printed out well. I did go beyond the three day trial and ended up with a subscription fee on my Visa card which I missed noticing for a several months. When I called PropertyRecord, they promptly answered the call. When I explained the unexpected fees, they readily accommodated a return of the monthly fees. I now am more careful about reading the terms.

DO NOT sign up for any property records from this legitimate-looking "company." IT'S A SCAM. You think you are paying $1 for a single report but they take your credit card and charge you $5 EVERY 16 days (a hidden subscription)!! You don't know about it until you get your Visa statement and see the charges. Luckily I stopped it after 3 charges. Then had to call and get a refund -- NOT WORTH THE DECEPTION AND HASSLE.

This site is a total scam. I looked at this before I paid for a one time report. DO NOT SIGN UP or give credit card info. If anywhere there is mention of continued billing it's not visible. They will bill you $20 for 24 billing cycles.

I was looking for historical info on my property and paid additional for more detail and paid for the expert. They don't even have my name correct on the report which is easily accessible information. Their "expert" just tells you that lots of data isn't available online. A 1 line email from their automated help desk with a chatgpt summary on asking my neighbors. A waste of money and I'm embarrassed I fell for it.

Recently mistakenly used Property Record.com to secured information on a property. I was surprised for being charged $1.00 for what I thought was public domain information, but what the heck. It was only $1.00. What I got was of minimal value and should have been available from the internet public information for free. But, a week there after another $5.00 charge appeared....Then another week later another $5.00 charge appeared.... A scam. I have notified them asking for a refund and that no further charges be assessed. I will dispute the charge to my credit card also. Time will tell if they will cooperate or continue this scam.

Used their service thinking I was only being charged the 1$ fee to pull the records of a house I was planning on closing on. Roll around to August and I am being charged 30$ for a subscription that I didn't even know that I signed up for. I called my bank, who had actually informed me of the possible scam, and proceeded to call their customer support with my bank on the line. Whoever had picked up was extremely rude and dismissive, claiming that I should've known to close my account and it was my fault for the subscription. She offered the refund; despite the attitude she was giving but I will never recommend this to anyone. It is a scam to everyone and there is no transparency to their manipulative tactics. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

I wanted to look up a property and I understood I was to be charged $1 then another charge popped up $18. I looked at the specifics of the property in question. As it turned out my total came to $58. This company is a total scam. The information they provide can easily be obtained by other means through public records. They make it appear that they are only charging you a few dollars but what they fail to tell you is that they will charge your card $30/month thereafter. Getting records was good but they kinda scam by luring you in with the $1 and then charge you $20 a month until you catch it. It’s easy to cancel but you just have to pay close attention to your account because they will sneak in and take the $20 a month.

I forgot to cancel back in October and now it's been taken care of and will not be charge. But now I know if I need information on a property I know where to go. The information was very helpful. At this point and time I no longer needing the service.

I had noticed a charge on my bank account for a service that I did not use and did not want to continue having. I was notified by Lifelock that my property owner info had been changed. So I went to the site to verify. I was charged a 1.00 for the report and was also going to be charged for continual reports and I needed to cancel that. I had Deb helping me and she was able to take care of the matter ASAP....very much appreciated.

RRaymond was very quick to respond. I was about to receive additional charges that I didn't agree to. My confirmation of cancelation is **. I was not given any option to create an account or agree to additional charges. I would recommend this be made very clear to anyone using this service. By the way, because of this I will not use this service.

I paid $1.00 for information about a particular lot I own. I had to give my card info when I signed up, but I didn’t know I would be have a recurring automatic payment of $20.00 until I checked my bank account online. When I figured out I had signed up for a subscription to propertied, I called the company, got a quick response, AND TALKED to a real person and they cancelled the order and cancelled the $20.00 payment. Very friendly guy. Thanks for the quick response in resolving the issue. I will recommend your service to others.

Their website stated $1.00 for property report and then my bank notified me of a suspicious $30 charge from them that the bank declined. To make matters worse, I then started getting unauthorized charges of up to $700 to the same credit card from other merchants! As a result I had to have my card canceled and get a replacement.

Our realtor brought it to our attention that the county records were incorrect on the square footage of our house and that our taxes would be incorrect and we should be paying less. The information provided was very helpful and comprehensive. It would be helpful to know that there would be a charge so I could have my card ready. The information I needed was not included. I needed info about the school tax. I wrote a request for the info and have received very prompt responses.
