I was unfamiliar with the property site and ended up signing up and being billed for things I didn’t need. Margaret in customer support got me refunds and cancelled my accounts to keep me from being charged again. This was all done late on a Saturday night. I wasn’t expecting this level of support. Thank you for the help!

Ugh. I somehow interacted with them and got signed up for a recurring monthly subscription, which I didn't catch. It must have been in very small print. And forced the user to OPT OUT instead of having you OPT IN. Very slimy business practice.

I discovered a charge on my credit card for months that I did not know about because my paralegal had signed up to use the service. I chatted with the company and they refunded 100% of the fees that I did not use their services and for which I did not know I was being charged. They are a very trustworthy company for that reason!

I requested a refund of a subscription for a service I only should have paid a one-time fee and my account was closed and Shirley initiated a refund. I was satisfied with the result; however, disappointed that my account was labeled as "subscription" when I choose a one-time fee.

I chatted with Shirley and she was very helpful. However I feel as though I was scammed by this and it seemed like I would be charged 99cents for a one time information but I was charged $9.95 twice and that is bull. Your policies and cost were not clear at all. And the information wasn't all that helpful anyway

Well, it took some doing, but the rep did, in the end, resolve my situation. "It" couldn't answer my questions about double billings, then told me I had 2 accounts. Supposedly I started a 2nd one 5 days after cancelling the first one, but problem is they were double billing me since the beginning of the 1st one (for 3 months), then continued double billing me for the next 2 months.

I ordered one property report for $9.95, and apparently received two additional charges for PDF reports for $7 and another charge for $1. Then I received three additional emails advising that my account allowed me to continue searching for properties, but each email including two a day apart were associated with a $9.95 charge to my credit card. I did not authorize or request any property search, and I do not recall any notification that I was subscribing to a service with random charges. It reeks of a scam. The service is good, but being charged for unnecessary extras and random charges on my credit card is poor business. I won't use your company again because of this.

I didn’t realize I had a recurring charge on my account as I only required a 1-time purchase of my property record. I reached out to PropertyRecord.com and requested a stop of the recurring charge and a refund of the most recent charge and Ryan handles both with ease. Thank you for this simplicity! Agent was helpful with a recent transaction. Unfortunately was billed for service again so agent cancelled the account. There should be more instruction on the use of the account. Once your bank information is loaded it is too easy for them to continue to charge you. There should be a reminder or charge notification emailed about your account.

I was able to close this account out as I do not need to be charged 998 a month for something that I don’t need. Your company gives false advertisement. I did not even request this. I requested something else and this popped up and I thought I was getting something else to help me with my transfers of deeds and stuff but instead this popped up. I am very unhappy with this, but I am also happy that your a customer service person was able to refund me my 999. Actually I was charged 999 twice +799+ a dollar which I think is is an unreasonable. Thank you. Giving two stars because I was able to get part of my money back.

I used their service once and found I got billed for a second use. I chatted with a rep about this. The reasoning given was that they signed up for more use for my convivence. I was told they could cancel my account. I told them I wanted the second charge reimbursed and cancel my account. The rep told me the reimbursement would be received in a few days and the account was cancelled. Beware of this.

I tried to speak to a customer service rep, Emily, on the phone, and she was hostile and unhelpful. I had canceled this account in January, and then was charged in February after I had canceled the account, and so I wanted to be refunded for the charge since I had already canceled. She insisted that I was not charged, even though the charge came through on my bill. I did not continue to interact with her because she was getting increasingly hostile. I then went to the live chat, and Samantha was incredibly helpful and polite. She was able to help me iron out my problem, and I am fully satisfied with her help! Samantha was great.

I don't think it is ethical to automatically sign somebody up for a monthly recurring charge. This site is nothing more than something you can get from any people search online. The name of their website and description of what they can access is misleading. I should be wise enough to know that I cannot get the information online that I should go to my local courthouse for. They initially ask for $1 up front but as you get to the point where you can see the report they asks for more funds. Before I realized what I had agreed to, I had spent $18.95 and they had my billing information. Again, that's on me. The live chat person I spoke with, Barbara, was professional and helpful. I am glad that the company has at least that going for them.
