About One Day Roofing

One Day Roofing was founded in 2013 and has locations in 21 states across the country. This roofing company is focused on asphalt shingle roofing installation using GAF Timberline HDZ shingles. However, the company doesn’t work on repairs or storm damage.

In addition to roofing projects, One Day Roofing installs gutters, windows, patio doors and siding and trim. You can schedule a free estimate to get started on your project.

Our editor’s take

One Day Roofing is best for homeowners who need a full roof replacement and want asphalt shingles. The company doesn’t appear to work with other materials, and it doesn’t mention anything about providing repairs. The company can also install gutters, new windows and siding if you’re interested in other exterior remodeling projects. The company is available in 21 states, mainly in the Midwest, South and Northeast.

Roofing services by One Day Roofing

One Day Roofing only offers roof replacement as opposed to providing repairs or maintenance. Even more limiting is the fact that the company only installs asphalt shingles. So, if you’re looking for metal, clay, slate or any other material, you’ll have to look elsewhere.

The company works with GAF Timberline HDZ shingles. GAF has a limited lifetime warranty on these shingles, which are fire-, wind- and algae-resistant. They also come in a wide variety of colors.

Other services by One Day Roofing

One Day Roofing can tackle a few other exterior remodeling projects in addition to roof replacement. The company can install new gutters, which may be a good idea to bundle with a roof replacement to ensure water is properly draining.

For siding, the company installs KP Dakota vinyl siding. The brand uses SpectraShield technology to help prevent fading and damage from UV rays. The vinyl is available in a variety of colors. One Day Roofing also installs windows and sliding patio doors.

Roofing costs for One Day Roofing

As with many roofing companies, it’s hard to know what your final costs from One Day Roofing will be. The cost of a new roof is dependent on several factors, such as the age of your current roof, roof pitch and the number of stories. Since One Day Roofing only installs asphalt shingles, you can expect to pay somewhere in the range of $5,800 to $12,700, though this could be higher depending on labor costs in your area.

While the company does provide an estimate calculator on the website, the end result is just putting you in contact with a customer service rep from the company. With roofing, it’s best to get an onsite estimate anyway for the most accurate assessment.

Financing

One Day Roofing offers financing, but you’ll have to contact the company to learn more about your options and potential payment plans.

One Day Roofing warranty

One Day Roofing offers a manufacturer’s warranty for its products, but it’s not clear if the company offers any other warranties on its work.

    Reviewed Jan. 29, 2025

In February, 2024, I had One Day Roofing install a "Lifetime" roof on my home. By Dec, 2025, less than one year later, during a rain storm, water was pouring out of the ceiling fan in a second floor bedroom. Water was also leaking out of five vents that passed through the roof. When I contacted the company, I was told they ONLY warrant the shingles. They had made a temporary caulking around the roof "boots" that came off within a year. I am now having to spend over $3,000 for a company to repair what Roof/Day should have done.
